Welcome to the new generation of Super Smash Quest. If you want to join, you'll be going to irc.sorcery.net. (Remove the last period, obviously.) As usual, mIRC is the client of choice, though Xchat works too, especially for Linux users. Confused by the term IRC? Wikipedia should be able to help you.
This is a text RPG which sort of hangs between Freeform and dice-based. Feel free to enter the IRC Room (at #supersmashrpg ) if you have questions, are bored, or were once a member of the original Super Smash Quest.
Happy Veterans day. Also I am working on an encyclopedia of sorts, under 'info.' You'll be delighted to see several SSQ 1 logs and some misc. information. It's still a bit 'raw', but I'm working on it. I should get to fixing some typos elsewhere sooner or later...
The bare essentials of the character management system are up. There's still a few bugs, but if you have an account, feel free to make one. If you don't, join the IRC room to get one, or just look at the pretty pages in the meantime.
Looking a bit better now; I've got myself some infrastructure changes. You'll see the new character management pages... shortly.
Sorry for looking like a lazy bum; I actually got the History page working and am on the cusp of adding a complete interactive character sheet feature. I'll eventually have an encyclopedia thing to boot, and over time begin the very painful and difficult process of properly archiving SSQ 1's logs. The truth is sessions are going nicely and if you want to remain up to date, you should probably be in the IRC room. Also the old SSQ page is archived at archive.metalman88.com. Yeah. It'll probably not be touched.
I may well note that the current SSQ is just starting to get to the part where it really takes off, so now's the time to join if you want to not miss the first major event. I have plenty of members now, but I can always use more.
More PHP work; added History page. It's still rather gradual work, but... hey, it's something.
Adding PHP automation and continuing my work on style...
Working on stylistic issues right now. The system will probably gain some more information.
First update... primitive, isn't it? I shall be working on the first pieces of this site... a lot of it isn't made yet, but you have to start from somewhere.
