Super Smash Quest - Season 2 (Late) - Characters - Aribar

Aribar Hunter is a half-elven wizard coming from a future world called Whaller or 'Second Earth'. When the elf was young he and his parents were kidnapped by the Venco Thieves, a division of the sinister Thieves' Guild that plauged the lands. Thanks to his brother, Zeni, and a mysterious stranger known as 'Mr. Monster' Aribar and his parents were saved. Several years later the same Mr. Monster started up a group to protect Whaller from the thieves on the same isle Aribar was kidnapped to, Venco Isle. For three years Aribar, Zeni, and Mr. Monster served as the Protectors of Whaller. One fine summer day after Aribar's school let out he was outside in his backyard preparing a teleportation spell to take him down to Port City, a place where almost any good or service can be purchased. While Aribar was reading the incantations from his spellbook his brother Zeni exited the house and interrupted Aribar by saying, "Hey bro! While yo--".

Aribar's concentration wavered and seemingly exploded. He was hurled through time and space to a forest surrounding the great Super Smash Stadium. Being armed with only his shortsword and the clothes on his back at the time Aribar headed towards the stadium. Once there he was iniatied by Mewtwo and Wolfman. Aribar became a Quester and gained new powers to replace his old spells since his spellbook was now lost. With the power of electric spins (Screw Attack), a whip (Chain Whip), ice magic (Blizzard), and some fancy sword moves (Double Edged Dance) he was prepared to take on fierce foes. A training mission in the holoroom proved that Klumsy was a good teacher, Aribar could fight, and that Panzer did not look good as a kidnapped princess.

The elf's career was going fine until one horrible day. It was a normal mission until the team of questers encountered Gannondorf. Before the questers had a chance to act Gannondorf quickly transformed to his vile counterpart, Gannon. "Yaah!" Aribar leaped into the air for a stunning strike on Gannon, but. . . SLICE! The overgrown pig proved the better of this quester as Aribar lost his right arm. Many missions later Aribar was able to get his revenge. In Aribar's Oddysee the half-elf was much stronger then he was. Aribar had many new abilities including his Wood Blast Barrage (Green Fireball) and Thunderbolt. At the top of the castle the group found both Bowser and Gannondorf. Iggy and Lemme both Tranced and fended off Bowser while Aribar settled the score with Gannondorf.

Some time later the virus called Slytox incapitated all the questers and made them forget their powers. Soon afterwards Bowser, Gannon, and Dr. Wily showed up to attempt to finish off the questers. They would have succeeded if it wasn't for the brave deed done by Alys Brangwin. She managed to save the day, but at the cost of Klumsy, her Transform partner's, life.

The rest of the Second Season of Super Smash Quest was filled with small events caused or for Aribar, except for one. During a mission to Zora's Domain two interesting things happened to Aribar. The first was what Aribar's player believes to be the beginning of his dieing streak--When a possessed and new John killed Aribar with a Stone Drop. The second being Aribar turned into a vampire by Meier Link. Soon before the final battle with the Quester Hunters Professor Oak managed to find a way to completly cure Aribar and did so before they set out.

Although Aribar has lost most of his previous skills but still remains as true and innocent as he was when he first joined the Questers. The elf, now two years older since he first joined, attempts to put back together a basic spellbook to help him become a mage again.

Yet again Aribar has proven that is is more vulnerable to the dark arts and evil magics than he thinks. The first time was during the Fellowship of the Sword mission where he was tempted to take the Sword of Darkness without even touching it! Soon after the defeat of the Quester Hunters an old member, Skyhigh, attacked the stadium. He was soon subdued and was ready for lootage. Aribar managed to steal a 'Cube of Darkness' from Skyhigh. Unknown to him at the time the cube was covered in a mind controlling goo. It took a while, but the other questers managed to get the cube off of Aribar. Now Aribar is trying to avoid the other questers in shame of what he has done. He hates this lust for dark power and hopes to make a reminder of the cube he stole from Skyhigh when Oak returns it to him by making it into a necklace. The Dark Cube's current location is unknown since Aribar has lost it to Oak.
