February 16th, 2019

With all this, the Season 4 Commentary is up. I also adjusted the other commentaries because reading the plot summary should NOT be required. Scavenger work continues apace, but paused a bit while I worked on the Commentary. With the Commentary done, I can now focus on Scavenger. Although, don't be surprised if I occasionally log more SSQ:I. It's just that I want at least one season of each major campaign up, so if I never do any more, I'll have some touchstones to help me remember things by.

January 12th, 2019

11 years ago... I began my mission: to log all of SSQ 1.

Today, I completed the main aspect of that. Seasons 1-6, contiguous, are logged.

276 chapters in all, they represent the original plot and, ultimately, original point of SSQ. Not that the continuations weren't fun, just...

That's what most people had signed up for, and past then, it'd always been slowly transforming into something else.

All in time for the soon to come conclusion of REVOLUTION, and in turn, of most of the SSQ work I do.

But do not fear. Scavenger is coming soon. A new world, a new game... free of the ties to the old. For the old was nice... but without the old players, is it really ever the same?

SSQ of course, is too entertaining to entirely stop, and so, every so often, I'll log some things, and probably do random sessions post-REVOLUTION. But if you were expecting some huge new SSQ thing... nope. It'll be time for new things, which will be announced here and, ultimately, get their own websites on this same main domain.

Thank you to all few of you who still read these and haunt these pages; this transition has not been the most popular, but ultimately, for my next work to be what it should be, it had to be this way. Already people have begun to appear for the new thing, so, I have my hope for it, while still remembering the ancient, soon to have been 17 years ago founding of SSQ. And to all those oldbies still out there: thank you for the time you did spend, when you spent it, it made everything interesting... interesting enough to last this long.

So, stay tuned, further updates will appear here and in the IRC room.
