Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 128: The Time of Dark Temples
Date: 3:49:04 PM, January 25th; 5:32:00 PM, January 26th, 2005.
VG: *Complaining in the office, trying to figure out these bills...* "How did Wolfman ever handle this desk work?"
Aribar is in the R&R watching some TV.
Wolfman: "Just handle the bills this time around VG... if you get into trouble, SIMBER will help. I did give you the same powers that I have, so don't worry." *Zips out of the office area, and heads to R&R before VG can complain He is a little relieved that he doesn't have the bills this time... however, a secretary is going to be needed.*
Aribar hrms and puts in Locos's DVD... He looks at more special features.
Digifanatic: *Meanwhile, Digi is sitting at a table with a soda, a little tired, but fine. * "I can't hit squat..."
Wolfman is with Aribar at R&R... just sitting, relaxing, and having a little smirk on his face.
Digifanatic: *He holds his hands to his face as if he has a headache.* "I try my best, but it just doesn't work..." *He sees the other two.* "Hey guys... what's going on?"
Aribar: "Just watching some special features on this DVD of Locos's last words before he left Nintopia... This one's about all the different types of coffee they drank during the production of the DVD."
Wolfman: "That must be a lot of java."
Digifanatic: "Odd how he'd put that on the DVD, but a little buzz after a one-year coma or something never hurt..."
Wolfman: "We are all different types of beings... perhaps tolerance levels for the same substance is different."
Digifanatic: "You have a point."
Aribar pages through all of the special features with a remote. "Geeze... When did he make all of these? There must be a ton of things here..."
Metal Man (GM): *You'd also see several videos from Robotnik's view of when he fought with the Questers.*
Wolfman: "If we're going to watch movies... SIMBER, any chance of sending popcorn over here?"
Digifanatic: "Heh, thanks!"
Wolfman: "Thank you."
Metal Man (GM): *POP* Plenty of popcorn appears on an interesting holographic conveyor belt.
Aribar: "...Hey... Whats this?! 'Stupid traps Aribar fell for in my tower'?! We'll be skipping that..."
Wolfman grabs the remote from Aribar "I don't think so." *He keeps the remote and tosses some popcorn in his mouth.*
Metal Man (GM): It shows a variety of things, like when Aribar grabbed the expensive fake emerald and almost drowned in coca-cola.
Wolfman gets a laugh out of that... it was a good thing he wasn't drinking any plasma juice.
Metal Man (GM): Then there's also when he was attacked by Tingle... and escaped that, only to meet the Evil Metal Sonic.
Wolfman really starts laughing.
Digifanatic: "Stop it, Wolf... I don't want Ari killing you."
Wolfman: "Oh come in Digi... I need to loosen up a little bit."
Wolfman tosses Digi the remote "Catch!"
Aribar: "Fine, but if we find anything about YOU we have to watch it..."
Digifanatic gets the remote.
Digifanatic: *...and hand it to Ari.*
Wolfman: *Facefaults* "I have no clue why you did that." *Eats more popcorn.*
Aribar: "Thanks!" *Pages through the special feature for bloopers.*
Metal Man (GM): *Shows Robotnik accidentally warping in Mr. Patch instead of the multitude of fake Aribars for a mockup of the Aribar fight.*
Wolfman definitely laughs at that... "I guess that ceremony is broken."
Aribar: "Is there anything Locos didn't put on here?"
Metal Man (GM): The DCD has plenty of other stuff, which was put on by Robotnik.
Digifanatic: "I'd like to know why he wanted to record all those mishaps..."
Wolfman: "Oh boy... do I feel better."
Digifanatic: "Heh... all those coffees..."
Wolfman: "I don't drink coffee actually."
Digifanatic: "Oh... just odd how he'd mention it."
Wolfman: "Um... okay..." *He didn't get that.*
Yurie (GM): Meanwhile, aboard the upgraded and refurbished QSS VALHALLA, Yurie Ginsei D'Raketeur, Captain of the Questers, High Commander of the Nintopia Independent Armed Forces, Admiral of the QSS VALHALLA and all around savior-of-the-universe-as-we-know-it, is sipping a glass of cranberry juice in the bridge of her mighty Tower of Skyreach as her subordinates bustle around.
Metal Man (GM): Yurie: Your imperial telephone is ringing.
Yurie presses a little button on her chair (captains chair, not the floaty thing Locos has), causing a little view screen to pop up in mid air "Yes?"
Metal Man (GM): You'd see Metal, in the usual attire and in his office... which, surprisingly, you've never seen before.
Yurie: "Hey Metal, what's shaking."
Metal Man: "Well, we have ourselves a situation down in Nintopia."
Metal Man (GM): The office has a red velvet floor, a holocylinder in the middle, and the entire room is square, and open. It's got a lot of open space. In each corner is a corner shaped bookcase containing many things, from past events, to technology diagrams, to dictionaries... There is an automated door between each corner... the symmetry is amazing. A square shaped fluorescent lamp-thing hangs in the center of the ceiling, evenly illuminating the office. In the center is a three-bladed sleek, futuristic fan with blue LEDs illuminating each side of the slowing twirling blades. The holoscreen is currently projecting your side of the videophone call, and is much sleeker than the ones you've seen elsewhere. It's only a small dome on the floor, and not a cylinder at all! ...In between the doors and bookcases are 8 identical pictures of Metal when he first joined the Questers. Those pictures are also symmetrical. The frames are gold and illuminated by even white led lights inside each picture frame.
Yurie: "Isn't there always a situation in Nintopia?"
Metal Man: "Yes, there is... but this one involves something worse."
Yurie: "Okay Metal, gimme the details..."
Metal Man: "You see, down in Hyrule Castle, the temple of... time is it? Well... the Master Sword chamber has opened."
Yurie: "...did someone other than Link open it?"
Metal Man: "...That is the question. It opened itself. And from it, came a variety of horrible monsters."
Yurie: "Right... So... where's the other Questers?"
Metal Man: "Down here. Watching television."
Yurie: "You're telling me there's an emergency, and the other Questers are watching TV?"
Metal Man: "However, I recorded what I said so that I could play it back to them. Well... I wanted to contact you first."
Metal Man clicks a button off screen. The TV the Questers were watching would suddenly playback what Metal just said to Yurie, without Yurie's side of the conversation.
Metal Man: "You know, since it might take you a while to get down here."
Yurie presses a button on her chair. The dias and her chair shudder faintly, then begin to slide down what appears to be an elevator shaft "Not really. One of the things I had installed in the tower was its own independent Warp system..."
Metal Man: "Ah..."
Wolfman feels a little insulted.
Metal Man walks to the R&R room, followed by the videophone.
Yurie's lift shudders to a stop in what appears to be a rather impressive looking warp room. (Think the teleporter in Justice League Unlimited) "Should I assemble an away team?"
Metal Man: "Yes." *He reaches R&R. He addresses the Questers.*
Yurie: "Alright. Doing so now... I'll meet you there."
Metal Man: "Now that you have heard the mission, we must prepare to go to Hyrule Castle Town."
Wolfman: "Should we not bring weapons, or will holstering be fine? It is a town you know."
Yurie presses the OFF button on her blue Smash Dex, then holsters it under her jacket.
Metal Man (GM): The video screen disappears.
Digifanatic gets up from the chair, and starts walking towards the Warp Room.
Wolfman is waiting for an answer to his question.
Gibby follows el Digi.
Metal Man follows Deloth, mentioning for the rest to follow.
Wolfman follows, still wondering what to do with his beam saber... he holsters it.
Yurie then walks over to a nearby command post, then types up data. "Calling NIAF Units Porom, Palom, and Espen. Transfer to Transit Room now."
Metal Man (GM): Okay, long story short... Everyone appears in the center of Hyrule Castle Town, the market. Except it's now strangely empty, and guards are everwhere. You can see the Temple of Time, with a strange black aura coming from the windows.
Yurie a set of four beam shots streak down and land in a cross pattern, Yurie in front. A pair of twins, one boy one girl, in white robes and carrying hooked staves land on either side, and a strange man in a red cloak and red hat with a feather land as well...
Wolfman has a bad feeling about this.... "Any idea why the town seems deserted?"
Metal Man: "Hello, Yurie."
Digifanatic: "Hey Yurie."
Guard: "The town was evacuated for the safety of the inhabitants."
Digifanatic: "I was thinking that..."
Yurie: "Hey guys..."
Palom: "These the Questers?"
Metal Man: "Yes, these are the Questers, and I am their current leader... and in fact, the past leader is here too." *Nods to Wolfman.*
Wolfman nods back, respecting the change in leadership... he doesn't mind not being the leader much anymore "...what exactly is unsafe right now?"
Guard: "Well... the temple."
Metal Man: "If you heard that message I forwarded earlier, the Temple of Time opened itself."
Digifanatic: "That's odd..."
Yurie: "Considering that only Link can open it..."
Guard: "Here, come this way."
Metal Man (GM): The guard starts walking towards the temple.
Digifanatic: "Hmmm... maybe that Shadow Link..." *He follows the guard.*
Wolfman: "I was hoping the locals would have more information." *Tells that to Metal He follows closely behind the guard.*
Metal Man: "Ah."
Metal Man (GM): The guard walks to the temple, facing it. A dark mist seeps out from the open doors. You can hear an 'unholy' version of the Temple of Time music drifting out, as well.
Wolfman has a strange feeling this mist doesn't belong here...
Guard: "I cannot follow you inside... the guards who went inside died. Correct." *He nods and stands off to the side.*
Wolfman: "Well, we might be able to help out..."
Metal Man (GM): The door is open, you may enter the Temple of Time.
Digifanatic exhales deeply...
Yurie: "Alright gents... shall we go inside and knock?"
Digifanatic: "I'm with them."
Wolfman agrees with Yurie...he lets her and her crew go first.
Digifanatic steps to the side as he lets Yurie and co. enter first.
Metal Man shrugs and walks inside. "I might as well come."
Digifanatic follows Metal in.
Yurie and co do, indeed, enter the doors to the temple of time.
Metal Man (GM): Inside, you see three points of light.
Wolfman follows Yurie... and takes notes of the 3 light points.
Metal Man (GM): Very clever holographic versions of the three spiritual stones... They look real, but glow with an evil aura.
Wolfman takes out his smash dex.
Metal Man (GM): Up ahead, the door of time is open... the normally yellow Triforce sign now purple.
Digifanatic: "Well, this is interesting... everything's in threes. Probably represent the three parts of the Triforce."
Wolfman: "...any chance you can figure out what those things are?" *Points dex to the stones that don't seem real.*
Espen: "Looks like someone's gotten a hold of some really clever evil copies."
Dex: "Fake spiritual stones, used to open the doors."
Yurie: "I think I know who's behind this..."
Digifanatic looks at the Triforce. "Purple... yeah, I'd say that's the Dork's doing."
Wolfman was hoping for more information.
Dex: "No other information; these things are not touchable and serve only that purpose."
Yurie: "Well... no use standing here..."
Metal Man nods and continues, walking up the steps.
Yurie walks towards the doors, followed closely by her crew.
Metal Man (GM): You can clearly see where the Master sword was...
Wolfman enters the next room.
Digifanatic starts heading up the stairs.
Metal Man (GM): ...There is a portal there instead. A purple one.
Wolfman: "Anyone familiar with purple portals?"
Digifanatic: "Ganondorf... at least the purple part. I dunno of any portals."
Metal Man: "That is a dark world portal if I ever saw one."
Wolfman: "Two for Ganondorf, one for Heartless... which is it?"
Metal Man: "I don't know. It opened itself, supposedly... but someone put it there."
Wolfman looks at Yurie with a somewhat curious pose.
Metal Man: "Unfortunately, the only way to continue means going into the Dark World..."
Digifanatic: (upon hearing the phrase "Into the Dark World") "Oh boy... sadly enough."
Yurie holds up her Moon Pearl, as does her group...
Metal Man: "Luckily, we have enough Moon Pearls in the smash dexes and everything that nobody will be transformed."
Metal Man: "The old days are gone..."
Yurie: "Alright everyone... lets go..."
Wolfman lets out a little chuckle.
Metal Man: "And now, to proceed."
Wolfman: "Very well." *He follows Yurie and crew in... once they go that is.*
Metal Man walks into the portal, with the traditional effects and warping.
Digifanatic steps in.
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* *WARP* *WARP* etc. Everyone appears in the strange, wavy world of Darkness. The entire area is surrounded with ruined buildings... but you're facing a huge, jade green temple dead ahead.
Digifanatic: "Wow... nice colors."
Wolfman gets re-oriented with the new/old/parallel realm.
Metal Man (GM): It's in ruins, the steps both huge and guarded by evil monsters.
Aribar is following the groups at this time...
Wolfman tries to find other landmarks nearby besides the green temple...
Metal Man (GM): Not much... an endless wasteland of broken down mini-temples.
Yurie: "...someone has bad taste in design..."
Palom: "I'd say..."
Wolfman turns to Yurie "I'm a little out of the loop here... how can Ganondorf be aligned with these Heartless?"
Yurie: "He was controlling them before. But we can ask him later... lets go."
Metal Man (GM): Up ahead, there's 6 poes. Eeeeevil looking poes. They guard the steps to this temple. http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682/midi/11thhour.mid
Wolfman attempts to scan the poes WITHOUT causing attention... aka, no loud dings or pings or -ings.
Metal Man (GM): The poes all turn invisible.
Dex: "Poes turn invisible when scanned."
Aribar unsheaths Moonlight.
Metal Man (GM): They remain patrolling, and reappear eventually. They apparently want to keep you out, rather than blatantly atatck you.
Wolfman puts the dex away... so much for that idea.
Digifanatic: "I wonder what's the deal with the temple even though it's in shambles."
Metal Man (GM): The ghosts continue patrolling, as you haven't approached the temple yet.
Metal Man: "There must be something important inside."
Digifanatic: "That's all I can imagine."
Wolfman: "Think we can reason with them?"
Metal Man: "I don't know."
Digifanatic: "I doubt it, but let's try."
Espen: "I doubt it."
Yurie shrugs, then walks out, heading towards the temple, her entourage following.
Aribar: "...We need a cleric..." *He follows Yurie.*
Metal Man (GM): The Poes turn and form a line....
Digifanatic follows as well.
Aribar: "If we had a cleric then they could just heal the undead to death..."
Metal Man (GM): ...They then silently get in the way.
Yurie: "Ahem... excuse me, but could you get out of the way?" (COMMAND!)
Wolfman follows Yurie somewhat behind.
Metal Man (GM): ...They all turn to Yurie and attack her! (Pre-emptive action) 15% damage per hit, you cannot counter-attack them. They attack with the lanterns, of course. Battle!
Yurie is missed by most of them...
Metal Man (GM): I will remain as an accompanying person.
Yurie growls in irrititation, then draws her sword and unleashes a pair of Swallow Swings at one Poe.
Metal Man (GM): Two hits. The Poe then turns invisible... making itself much harder to hit. Damage from those hits? You may continue.
Yurie follows up with a slash from her sword.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Palom: "Miss Yurie!" *He steps up to Yurie, casting Cura on her. Porom steps up as well, staff swinging up, then whips it at another poe. Lightning thunders down from the heavens and strikes the Poe.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Yurie: *CRASH! 25% Lightning damage.*
Metal Man (GM): You cannot stun a Poe, unfortunately.
Porom: "Hah! Take THIS!"
Metal Man (GM): That Poe turns invisible. FYI, they turn visible again when your turn ends.
Digifanatic: "Nice little bolt there..."
Porom whips his staff upwards, a pillar of flame leaping upwards.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Yurie: *30% Fire.*
Porom: "And now, we'll chill you off!"
Metal Man (GM): The Poes make angry noises, as usual.
Porom then points at the poe. a large spire of ice forms over its head, then slams down onto it.
Metal Man (GM): That attack misses. The Poe went even more invisible.
Porom: "Oh phooey..."
Aribar dashes at the nearest poe and unleashes a Whaller's Fury on them. Three sword strikes slash out at the poe Palom attacked. "Yaah!"
Espen leaps overhead, then rushes another Poe and slashes at him with a scimitar-shaped blade.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Hit miss hit. I mean... CRIT miss hit. Espen's attack hit. Espen may continue.
Espen follows by whipping around, rapidly slashing the ghosty with a Saber Dance.
Metal Man (GM): The invisible ghosty avoids all but one hit, the Crit.
Espen: "This is why I hate ghosts..."
Wolfman gets out his Beam Saber and starts to Swords Dance Poe #... let's say 5
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit. 24% total, you may continue.
Wolfman focuses on the...3rd poe now. The sword was put away, but the left hand glows a little bit... he rears up and attempts a good smashing hook. (removing -2 bonus accuracy)
Metal Man (GM): Miss! Time for the poes.
Wolfman shouldn't have reared up so much (not using lucky just yet)
Metal Man (GM): Poe no. 1 opts for throwing a fireball at Yurie. If that hits, it's 5% fire damage. Poe no. 2 charges at Espen ..If that hits, 15% damage. Poe no. 3 throws its lantern at Palom. 35% damage if that hits... that Poe loses its next turn. Poe no. 4 helps out Poe no. 3 by attacking Palom with the lantern.
Metal Man (GM): 15% damage if that hits.
Metal Man (GM): Then, Poe no. 5 attacks with a fireball at Palom. 5% fire damage if that hits. Finally, Poe no. 6 throws its lantern at Palom. 35% if that hits, Poe no. 6 also loses next turn.
Palom: "Owwwww... meanies!"
Wolfman winces a little bit.
Metal Man (GM): All of them are.
Digifanatic uses a Super Mario Punch on Poe #2
Metal Man (GM): Hit!
Digifanatic switches to Poe #1 with his buddy Bertha (Golf Club).
Metal Man (GM): Hit!
Digifanatic then goes to Poe #2 again with a Fire Punch.
Metal Man (GM): Digi, by switching Poes, manages to avoid the invisible avoiding power... but then misses Poe #2.
Yurie tosses a Maxshroom to Palom *FULL HEAL.*
Palom: "Thanks captain. ^^" *He, Porom, and Espen combine their attacks and go after a single foe. Porom raises his staff and points it at one poe, as does Palom, and a pillar of light and bolts of lightning rain down from above it.*
Metal Man (GM): Okay then... you may continue your turn. Hit hit!
Yurie: *25% Light, 25% lightning Espen follows up by rushing towards another poe and leaping upwards, launching a powerful, uppercutting slice.*
Metal Man (GM): You wipe out Poe no. 2. And then crit Poe no. 1, killing it as well. 4 more poes to go... but that ends your turn, I believe?
Wolfman notes the Poes are a little weak... but that invisibility thing.. .oO(Hmm... go Crush them or not? Rational side doesn't say much... Irrational side says crush them... gah...)
Aribar goes and tries a Tri-Bolt Slash on Poe 3... If it is alive.
Metal Man (GM): It is... 2 hits.
Wolfman goes for the gut shot... if they turn invisible, oh well. He curls up, then expands and howls, calling upon the Wolf Crush upon all of them.
Metal Man (GM): Well... all of that hits. Poe 3 dies. You may attack again... but all of them are invisible. Poe turns. The now... two angry poes... throw their lanterns at Wolfman with a combo attack.
Wolfman is NOT pretty lucky.
Metal Man (GM): *BAM* 90% damage.
Wolfman gets ROCKED *DING* *Close Call now active!*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers have only just begun to see the mysterious new dark world which is in front of them... what lies inside the temple of faded jade? Remaining poes... 4, 5, and 6.
Yurie growls, rushing 4 and slashing at it with her sword.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Yurie follows with a No Moment attack.
Metal Man (GM): Miss hit. Erm... Hit hit. You may continue.
Yurie continues her assault by twirling, unleashing a Kasumi, white sakura petals leaping from her sword.
Metal Man (GM): There's no way that can miss.
Yurie follows with a Divider slash.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Wolfman prays for healing.
Porom: "Time to end it!"
Yurie Polom moves over to Wolf and applys Cura *Wolf: 25% HP rstored.*
Metal Man (GM): Also, http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682/midi/11thhour.mid is the background music.
Wolfman thanks Polom *DONG* *Close Call badge deactivate.*
Porom raises his staff, then points it at Poe 5, unleashing a bolt of lightning.
Metal Man (GM): Hit! Poe 5 dies.
Porom continues by thrusting his staff into the ground. Green mist come sup from the ground, and surrounds Poe 6 *15% Earth. Poison if possible.*
Metal Man (GM): Go to http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682 Then copy/paste http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682/midi/11thhour.mid It shall not do that anymore Hit.
Espen rushes past Porom, executing that upward-rising slash once again.
Yurie meanwhile, Porom points his staff again, a pillar of flame leaping upward.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, miss.
Yurie: *the Fira hits...*
Metal Man (GM): Ok, whoever's left who can attack of Yurie's trio may attack, if any. If they all went, just say they did.
Yurie: *they're done.*
Gibby attacks poe ghost 5 with a shot from his gun.
Metal Man (GM): Hit! Oh... Poe 5 is dead. Make that Poe 4.
Gibby then leaps back, and does a matrixy jump shot on poe 4
Metal Man (GM): Hit! You may continue.
Gibby wraps things up with some fire breath to the same poe.
Metal Man (GM): ...I'll say that hits and ends your turn because you got such a good roll.
Gibby performs a victory pose.
Metal Man (GM): ...That was not me talking to myself...
Aribar hits a remaining Poe with a True Strike.
Metal Man (GM): Hit! You kill Poe 4. 1 more left! You may continue. A r I b a r
Aribar Whaller Furies the last one...
Metal Man (GM): Hit miss hit.
Wolfman gets his Howl Buster ready for 2 steady shots... he aims at the last poe, and fires.
Metal Man (GM): You may continue... FINISH HIM!
Wolfman decides to finish with a dance of death... hopefully.
Metal Man (GM): ...I'll be nice and say it hits anyway. The last Poe dies. The way into the temple is open. The old doors are cracked and lay open.
Wolfman holsters his stuff.
Metal Man heads forward. "We should look inside, don't you think?"
Metal Man (GM): Everyone gains 500 more EXP.
Garrick Fy`aar is apparently with the group. He's been awfully quiet... again.
Metal Man (GM): Okay, the group is at the doorway of a huge jade temple.
Gibby: "Wow... nice place."
Metal Man (GM): You may enter if you wish.
Wolfman: "When the poes aren't attacking at least, I might be inclined to agree."
Garrick Fy`aar just walks onward.
Yurie: "Alright... everyone in."
Gibby enters inside.
Metal Man: "Well... the answer to whoever opened the Temple of Time is in here."
Yurie and her group walks inside.
Wolfman follows Yurie and her trio of compatriots inside.
Metal Man (GM): Go to http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682/
Gibby takes out his gun... to be cautious of course.
Metal Man (GM): Then to http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/nuclear/682/midi/11thhour.mid If you want music.
Deloth unsheaths his katana and walks inside.
Metal Man (GM): Inside, is a great temple, of course. The entry room is a huge horizontal room... very wide.
Garrick Fy`aar walks barehanded, like he normally does.
Gibby makes a hooting noise to make that echo effect.
Metal Man (GM): An enscription is on the wall. The hooting noise echoes.
Wolfman: "Alright, we got ourselves the traditional opening hallway... with a message?"
Metal Man (GM): The writing on the wall says...
Wolfman goes to the message.
Gibby: "Cool..." *He goes to the message with Wolfman.*
Deloth walks over and reads the message.
Message: 'The reader of this message is hereby warned. This is the darkest temple of the dark world, and contains the evilest evil that ever existed. If thou goes too deep inside, they shall risk releasing thine evil.'
Yurie reads the message... instead of walking up to it.
Gibby: "...something tells me this place is evil."
Wolfman is warned.
Metal Man (GM): The room has statues of Ganondorf made of jade around.
Garrick Fy`aar just walks past it.
Deloth: "Scare tactic."
Wolfman: "What evil is considered the evilest? Didn't we already take out that Void creature?"
Metal Man (GM): The statues have angry expressions, looking both mad and ready to punch something.
Deloth walks away and looks for exits.
Metal Man (GM): You may go left or right.
Gibby: "Maybe it's something even eviler than that!"
Metal Man: "Let's pick a direction to look through."
Wolfman: "So we stay together Metal?"
Gibby: "Let's go left... I like left."
Metal Man: "Yes. Left it is."
Deloth: "I say we go left also." *He starts heading towards the left door.*
Metal Man heads left. The door slides open by itself... creepy.
Gibby follows them.
Yurie and her entourage follow...
Wolfman follows Metal in, still staying unarmed.
Metal Man (GM): The next room is also wide... though it's going forward instead of sideways. Nothing but pots in this room.
Garrick Fy`aar walks left as well.
Gibby takes a look inside a pot.
Metal Man (GM): There's also a red line before and after the area with the pots. Gibby: Do you cross the line?
Wolfman gets a look at this line... just a look.
Gibby crosses the line... though he'll probably wish he hadn't later.
Deloth: "Anybody got something heavy to throw?"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: The pot flies up and... then flies at you!
Yurie: "I got a number of things..."
Wolfman sees Gibby cross the line... only to see the pots come alive? What type of place is this?
Deloth stays behind the line "Gibby, run!"
Metal Man (GM): If that hits, 20% damage.
Gibby dodges it, and runs back over the line to the others.
Metal Man (GM): The pots stop coming... And the pot that flew at you regenerates.
Gibby: "Evil pots... EVIL!"
Metal Man: "It appears we have met our first trap."
Wolfman: "Can we cross without setting them off? Hmm... think we should shoot the pots from a distance?"
Aribar is somewhere doing something... I guess.
Metal Man: "That pot regenerated."
Garrick Fy`aar checks the distance between lines.
Gibby scans a pot.
Deloth: "Maybe the trap is touching the floor past the lines."
Dex: "Flying pot. Class 1 trap. Will attack if you enter the area it is guarding."
Wolfman tries to judge the distance between the red line and the door.
Deloth: "Any way to get past it, Dex?"
Garrick Fy`aar did that already. -_-
Gibby: "Hmmm... perhaps we should go the other way."
Dex: "I'm sorry, machines cannot think for you."
Metal Man (GM): The distance is 150 feet. 1 pot every 10 feet.
Wolfman can't jump that far...
Metal Man (GM): 2 pots, 1 on each side.
Aribar catches up with the rest of the group. "... Sorry, I had to tie my shoes guys... That's hard with one hand."
Metal Man: "Just in time... we have some deadly pots blocking the way."
Wolfman: "Alright, while sounding cliche...think we should just run for it?" (if the e doesn't show up, let me know)
Aribar: "Hrm... Thordain!" *He lances out at three of the pots with lightning.*
Metal Man (GM): The three pots explode, then regenerate.
Gibby: "No... we'd risk getting pummeled to death by pots... and I would rather not get killed that way."
Metal Man (GM): There are a total of 30 pots that will attack if you try to cross. And regenerate.
Deloth: "Let's try the other door."
Gibby: "Like I said..." *He heads the other way.*
Garrick Fy`aar turns on his heel and heads for the right path.
Metal Man follows.
Wolfman follows Gibby.
Aribar follows the others.
Deloth follows Metal and the fellows.
Metal Man (GM): Everyone reaches the right path... this one is the same hallway, minus pots.
Gibby: "Well... no pots here."
Wolfman checks for a red line.
Metal Man (GM): No line either.
Gibby: "It LOOKS safe."
Deloth: "This can't be this easy."
Metal Man (GM): No lines, I should say.
Wolfman: "...I doubt it is safe."
Metal Man: "We have to get past one of these..."
Wolfman: "Think I should fire a warning shot?"
Garrick Fy`aar is the mine detector this time, walking onward.
Gibby: "Go ahead."
Metal Man (GM): Garrick: The floor falls out from under you!
Gibby: "...or... Garrick could test it."
Metal Man (GM): You may do a midair jump. Oh, wait... No mid air jump for overdrive people. Garrick falls to his doom. He reappears, minus 50% of his HP.
Garrick Fy`aar: "...ow."
Gibby: "Ouch... maybe we were safer with the pots."
Metal Man (GM): The tiles float back up.
Deloth starts flying over the floor.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth: SPD check ..Man you're unlucky.
Wolfman moves to the LEFT side of the room, still staying in the same "row" so to speak... not moving forward (sidestep, in other words)
Metal Man (GM): You get to the last leg of the thing... a tile flies up and smacks you for 10%.
Metal Man (GM): Jump check... low DC due to your closeness to the end of it.
Garrick Fy`aar checks the walls of the room.
Metal Man (GM): The walls look normal. The hallway is 20 feet wide and 150 feet long. Deloth falls to his doom and reappears back at the start. Yurie: Whatcha do-in?
Gibby: "So close..."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth takes 50% damage.
Deloth: "Ach. BLOODY FLOOR!"
Aribar hrms... "I'm about to do something brilliant..."
Wolfman: "Were you guys trying to go directly across the centere?"
Gibby: "Uh oh... code red... everyone duck and cover."
Garrick Fy`aar hmpfs, then checks the distance between the place they're standing and the wall on the side.
Metal Man (GM): 140 feet, Garrick. I mean...
Gibby steps away from Ari.
Metal Man (GM): The wall on the side is 10 feet from you.
Deloth steps away also.
Metal Man (GM): In either direction.
Wolfman is at the left wall right now.
Deloth: "Oh, for a grappling hook..."
Metal Man (GM): That's the wall, as in you can walk up and touch it. Yurie: Jump checks for that distance? No. That's only if you walked out to your doom.
Deloth kicks the wall in frustration.
Wolfman waits for Aribar to try his idea before he tries his own.
Garrick Fy`aar goes to the wall, walking very slowly in case of traps, then taps the wall, checking what it's made out of.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth kicks a small dent in the wall. The wall is made of relatively soft jade.
Gibby: "Hey... I just got an idea of my own!"
Deloth: "Hmm, I wonder..."
Metal Man (GM): Seeing how Deloth kicked a dent in the wall so easily.
Gibby: "Del... make another dent in the wall, but higher up."
Deloth tries digging his claws into the jade.
Metal Man (GM): The claws stick in easily. The only difficult trick is not applying too much force.
Aribar goes over to the left wall back a couple of feet... He then starts dashing forward and then tries to run on the wall if possibly to get a bit of a head start before having to jump and double jump...
Deloth grabs Ari.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: SPD check. Deloth: Opposing SPD check.
Wolfman was at the left wall... sugar; got to move!
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: You kinda-sorta run on the wall as Wolfman is grabbed by Deloth. You manage to go past 15 feet of 140 that way.
Garrick Fy`aar hmpfs at all the action before he looks to see if Ari makes it...
Deloth: "Alright Gibby, your call." *He whomps another dent in the wall.*
Wolfman: "Umm... thanks."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth: You make a dent.
Gibby: "Del, keep making dents, and get as high as you can."
Aribar starts to dip down now... Curse gravity... He then tries to jump off the wall and towards the other wall... Kind of a / direction.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: You can jump from stone to stone after exhausting the double-jump, if you're lucky.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Handholds, stupid."
Gibby: "We can use these to crawl the wall easier. And not touch the floor."
Deloth jump-kicks the wall.
Metal Man (GM): CRIT! You do that easily... eating up a monstrous 35 feet.
Garrick Fy`aar has a better idea. "Gibby, just blow holes in the walls with your gun."
Wolfman: "Any chance I can get down at least Deloth?"
Gibby: "Hmm... that might work."
Deloth: "Nice stress relief."
Metal Man (GM): Only 90 more feet to go... SPD check. (Yeah, you manage to run diagonally)
Gibby holds his gun up, and shoots at the wall a bit close to Deloth.
Deloth: "Hey, watch it!"
Aribar continues running on this wall...
Deloth drops Wolf.
Metal Man (GM): You gain 16 more feet.
Deloth: "I also wonder..."
Metal Man (GM): Now you're falling again, Ari.
Deloth carves out a hunk of jade from the wall.
Wolfman lands on the ground... hopefully before the "death trap".
Metal Man (GM): Deloth, Gibby: All easy. Wolf: Yes.
Gibby keeps shooting at the wall, making a dent pattern for Deloth to cross.
Deloth pockets the jade.
Aribar then tries to go back to the left wall again...
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: You do so.
Deloth: "Good idea, Gibby."
Garrick Fy`aar looks to the spot Gibby shot at, taking hold of it with his hand.
Wolfman lets Aribar do his crazy stunt... hmm... sounds possible for him.
Metal Man (GM): You trip, and fall on a block. Roll another jump check.
Deloth drops the jade and tests the handholds.
Metal Man (GM): You stumble onto an adjacent block. Another jump check! If you can just stumble a bit further... You stumble to the wall. One last SPD check. You trip, fall, and wind up back where you started.
Gibby starts climbing up the dents now.
Metal Man (GM): No, Ari didn't get to comeback because he tripped. Gibby: For you, the hand holds are easy. Aribar: -50% HP.
Gibby: "I am a genius..."
Garrick Fy`aar tries the same handholds Gibby is using.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby is getting across the wall easily. Garrick: SPD check. Garrick gets across with Gibby.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Nicely done, Gibby."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth, and everyone else using handholds: SPD check.
Gibby lands safely on the other side. "Your gun idea helped."
Aribar hrms and tries to think of a different way to get across...
Garrick Fy`aar lands beside Gibby, walking to check out the next room. Just popping his head through to look around.
Gibby: "Garrick, wait for the others."
Wolfman decides to take the handhold idea... if nothing else, he can jump back up and grab in midair.
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman falls and hits the pit.
Deloth shrugs and tries the handholds too.
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman: 50% damage.
Wolfman: *DING* *Close Call badge active.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth gets across. The people left who haven't gotten across are:
Aribar: "...Hrm... I was so close last time... Perhaps I should try the same thing again..."
Metal Man (GM): Aribar, Yurie's trio, Yurie, Wolfman.
Wolfman goes for it again... same deal (Metal, expect a luck quirk from me if need be)
Deloth walks over next to Gibby.
Metal Man (GM): You better use that luck quirk!
Deloth: "Nice idea, Gibbo."
Gibby shouts over to Ari. "USE THE DENTS!"
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman gets across.
Deloth high-fives Gibby.
Wolfman breathes heavily.
Gibby jumps up, and high fives back.
Wolfman: "If anyone has any healing for me here... that would be helpful."
Aribar waits for Gibby to shout something...
Deloth: "Sorry, I lost my Midshroom."
Metal Man (GM): Aribar and Yurie's crew are left.
Gibby: "THE DENTS!!" *He points to them frantically.*
Aribar: "...I can't really use them! Only one hand..."
Metal Man: "I can help you, Aribar... But I'm slow as molasses."
Aribar: "...I think I'll try my way once more, Metal..."
Metal Man: "Okay..."
Metal Man (GM): He gets across 'cause he's a helper NPC.
Aribar gets ready for some more wallrunning.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar falls to his doom. 50% more damage.
Gibby rolls his eyes.
Metal Man: "...Are you sure you don't need my help?"
Aribar: "...Fine..." *He reappears, one less life.*
Metal Man: "I'll just carry you across." *He goes back to the starting area.*
Aribar accepts Metal's help, ashamed that he couldn't cross it and just endangered the others...
Metal Man helps Aribar across, and I'll just say Yurie got across for the sake of speed.
Deloth: "This is a weird kind of jade."
Metal Man (GM): Now that you're across, there's a single door on the left.
Metal Man: "Yeah... probably magical or fake."
Gibby heads to the left.
Deloth heads through the door too.
Wolfman follows the others through... though he personally wants to get out of this temple.
Metal Man (GM): This door is another loooong hallway...
Gibby: "I'm getting tired of these hallways."
Metal Man (GM): ...Except now there's three ghosts in the middle.
Deloth: "Oh, boy."
Metal Man (GM): A red one... a blue one... and a yellow one.
Gibby: "EEP!" *He hides behind Deloth.*
Metal Man (GM): They are just floating around, not bothering anyone.
Deloth facepalms "Way to give us away, Gibby."
Aribar walks forward...
Wolfman holds his ground.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: The ghosts turn to face you.
Red Ghost: "Welcome to the Temple of daaaaarkneeesssss!"
Deloth waits to see what they do with Ari.
Yellow Ghost: "What do you seek?"
Blue Ghost: "The true door to the temple is invisible to mortal eyes."
Yurie: "The person who opened the Temple of Time."
Deloth: "Psst, if he dies, I get his cash."
Red Ghost: "Heeeeeeeem? He tollllld us to waaaait for youuuu!"
Yellow Ghost: "He has no cash."
Blue Ghost: "That person is inside the temple, behind the mind's eye."
Gibby: "M-mind's eye?"
Aribar: "...Can you take us to him?"
Red Ghost: "The Bluuuueeeeee ghost says the truuuuuuth!"
Yellow Ghost: "No."
Aribar: "Why not?"
Blue Ghost: "The mind's eye of the evil oneeeee!"
Wolfman has a strange feeling there is something hidden within this temple... perhaps those ghosts would know something. "Can you identify who this evil one is?"
Red Ghost: "Becauuuuse... he tolllld ussss to confussseeee you!"
Yellow Ghost: "No."
Blue Ghost: "The mind's eye! The mind's eye! Open it up, in the mind's eyeeeee!"
Gibby: "I don't like them..."
Aribar just tries to pass them.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: You walk through them easily.
Deloth scans the ghosts.
Metal Man (GM): They pay no attention.
Wolfman wonders... mind's eye... what could it mean.......
Dex: "Wooooooooooooo! Ghoooooostssssssss!!!!"
Gibby follows Ari, wanting nothing to do with the ghosts.
Aribar continues down the hallway wondering if there is a door at the other end...
Deloth whacks his Dex.
Yellow Ghost: "The path to evil is in the mind's eye!"
Wolfman decides to sit down on the ground in some sort of indian style, close his eyes, and perhaps see if he can clear his head of junk to try to follow their clues.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: There is one... it goes left.
Aribar opens the door a little bit and peeks through it.
Metal Man (GM): ...It's the pot area.
Gibby stands behind Ari... he makes a good shield. ^_^
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman: INT check.
Aribar: "...We're going in circles!"
Wolfman regrets wearing the fake mario hat now...
Yellow: "Circles of idiocy!"
Aribar: "...There has to be something we're missing..."
Gibby: "Aw crap..."
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman: You think up that the mind's eye means you should carve out your brain and look inside.
Aribar goes back to the ghosts and pokes them... "Come on... We'll give you shinies if you tell us..."
Wolfman shakes his head... that doesn't sound right.
Blue Ghost: "The mind's eyeeeeee!"
Gibby heads back to the ghost... and imitates Wolfman.
Blue: "Behind it is the door!"
Gibby: "Ooooooom... ooooooom..."
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: INT check.
Wolfman tries that again... of course, having that strange knowledge... it won't be as good of an attempt.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: It must be behind the heads of the Ganondorf statues! Now you just need... to get back there...
Gibby: "The Ganondorf statues! We have to head back to them!"
Blue Ghost: "Correeeect!!!"
Yellow Ghost: "We are the only ghosts who can get you back."
Wolfman really needs a new intelligence chip...
Aribar: "...Aren't you the only ghosts HERE?"
Blue Ghost: "300 coiiiins apiece!"
Yellow Ghost: "No."
Deloth: "Will it hurt?"
Gibby hands the blue ghost 300 coins in a bag.
Deloth: "Will you trick us?"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: You disappear.
Gibby: "H-h-here you go."
Aribar hands the ghost 2400 coins.
Blue Ghost: "Gibby has beeeen warped to the statues!"
Aribar: "For the rest of us..."
Blue Ghost: "Thank you, generous one! I shall warp you allllll!"
Metal Man (GM): *WARP EN MASSE* The group is now in the first room. The statues are still there, of course...
Wolfman: "...remind me to give you a pay raise when we get back Aribar."
Gibby runs up to a statue, and checks the back of the head.
Metal Man (GM): You notice one has yellow glowing eyes, one has red eyes, and one has blue eyes.
Aribar: "...Don't, Wolfman."
Metal Man (GM): You see the back of the head... and that the statues are moveable.
Deloth pushes the statue with blue eyes.
Gibby: "Hmm... we can move these statues."
Metal Man (GM): In the center of the room, there are three blank spots for the statues. The statue moves for Deloth.
Deloth: "Gibby, help me push this thing!"
Gibby nods, runs to Deloth, and helps him push the blue eyed statue to the center of the room.
Wolfman checks the statues... then the floor spots... (do I see the different colored eyes?)
Metal Man (GM): You move it into the center spot, Gibby. It DINGS!, and sinks into the ground.
Gibby: "That's one!"
Metal Man (GM): The center spot is now occupied. Wolfman: Yes.
Deloth: "...Okay, now what?"
Metal Man (GM): Two more statues to move.
Gibby: "OH! What order were the ghosts in?"
Wolfman: "...I think the red one was first."
Deloth: "Red, blue, yellow."
Gibby: "Red to the left, and yellow to the right."
Metal Man (GM): You may move them as you say.
Gibby runs to the red eyed statue.
Metal Man (GM): You can move it.
Deloth pushes the yellow statue into the right space.
Metal Man (GM): *DING!*
Gibby moves it to the left space.
Metal Man (GM): The three statues are in position. DING! DING! They all sink in... and a black door opens.
Gibby: "We did it!"
Deloth: "Yes!" *He looks in the door, without heading in.*
Wolfman: "That's a relief..." *He really doesn't like this temple.*
Gibby stands behind Deloth... again, for the sake of a shield.
Metal Man (GM): You enter the door, and see a large, square room. A door is ahead... but blocked by a barrier.
Deloth: "What now?"
Metal Man (GM): Once everyone enters...
Wolfman gets behind them.
Metal Man (GM): *SLAM* The door closes behind you.
Wolfman: "I think we should... nevermind."
Gibby: "Uh oh..."
Wolfman wanted to backtrack out.
Metal Man (GM): Two black runes appear on the floor.
Deloth: "This isn't good..."
Aribar unsheaths Moonlight. "..."
Metal Man (GM): They start glowing, energy from a fountain of darkness in the middle being leeched into them.
Gibby pulls out his gun.
Deloth unsheathes his katana.
Aribar: "Did I ever mention I hate darkness?"
Wolfman gets his beam saber out... then his Dex for scanning.
Metal Man (GM): The dex is out. The runes are beginning to shimmer... and rise... constructing two creatures out of darkness.
Deloth: "Here we go again..."
Gibby: "Aww... I was hoping we didn't have to actually FIGHT..."
Wolfman puts the Dex away... huh? "What do you mean 'again' Deloth?"
Metal Man (GM): The runes finish up, revealing two dark suits of armor, with skeletons inside.
Gibby: "I doubt they're friendly..."
Metal Man (GM): They go into fighting position, and march into battle against you.
Deloth: "This ALWAYS happens in dark temples..."
Yurie: "They look like Stalfos."
Metal Man (GM): Necro Knight 1 leaps at Yurie and slashes at her thrice with a dark sword. 20% damage per hit. Necro Knight 2 glows, and Yurie is engulfed in a column of darkness. She loses her turn. Yurie's Trio' s turns.
Palom: "Meanies! Lets gettem Porom!"
Yurie (GM): The twins step up beside each other, then hook their canes together. Beginning charge.
Metal Man (GM): Ah.
Espen steps up, then unleashes one of Yurie's moves, the Swallow Swing.
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit.
Yurie: *44% Light.*
Metal Man (GM): Necro Knight 1 is hit twice. Half damage! Half per hit too... so 11% damage.
Espen continues, rushing forewards and unleashing a Sky Climb.
Metal Man (GM): Miss! It blocks with its unholy shield.
Gibby fires a shot at Necro Knight 2
Metal Man (GM): Miss... and counter Necro Knight 2 shoots a beam at Gibby. Gibby: INT check. Gibby is blasted for 20% damage... then is mind controlled by the Stalfos. It's now. The now controlled Gibby is ordered to shoot Espen.
Metal Man (GM): Roll the attack, Gibby.
Gibby fires a shot at Espen.
Metal Man (GM): CRIT!
Deloth: "Oh, just peachy..."
Metal Man (GM): Say the damage, Gibby, then you're ordered to use another attack of your choice on Espen. Espen takes 22% damage.
Gibby drools some more... he runs up to Espen, and attacks with a running kick.
Metal Man (GM): Ouch! Does that hit, Yurie? Okay then. Gibby: You're ordered to shoot Espen again.
Gibby shoots at Espen again.
Espen: *Defense active.*
Metal Man: "...Gibby is really hurting Espen there..."
Metal Man (GM): Gibby is ordered to attack Espen with another mindless running kick.
Gibby does so...
Wolfman has no clue what to say... or do...
Metal Man (GM): Gibby misses, ending his mind-controlled turn. Yurie: The 5 under AC rule doesn't apply anymore.
Gibby continues drooling.
Deloth: "Gibby! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
Aribar: "...Thordain!" *He launches a weak lightning attack at Gibby and the Knights.*
Metal Man (GM): CRIT! Gibby is knocked out of it and damaged for the full critical damage of Thordain.
Aribar: "I hope you're shockingly realized you're killing us, Gibby..."
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: You wake up, wondering why you were zapped seconds after you blacked out from the black beam.
Aribar follows up with a Tri-Bolt Slash on the nearest Knight.
Gibby: "H... huh? What happened? Did we win?"
Wolfman silently thanks Aribar for doing that... no reservations now for what he wants to do.
Gibby: "Why was I zapped?"
Metal Man (GM): You hit Necro Knight 1 three times.
Espen: "You whaled on me, you little puffball spaz!!"
Gibby: "...what are you talking about?"
Deloth: "You were mind-controlled, cheeseball."
Gibby: "I was? Then why don't I recall?"
Wolfman: "Mind control can do that..."
Metal Man (GM): You may continue.
Aribar follows up with a Whaller's Fury on the same one.
Gibby: "Uhh... sorry?"
Metal Man (GM): Only 1 hit now. The crit.
Wolfman gets down, curls inward, and then spreads his legs and arms out and howls a bunch of energy in for the Wolf Crush... thank the Poes for the energy recharge.
Metal Man (GM): That hits them both. You may take your turn normally for your last turn before you go.
Deloth: "I'm not going down like that! Friction Slash!" *He heats his blade to glowing hot temperature and slashes at Knight 1*
Metal Man (GM): Aaaaand you miss. Necro Knight 1 tries to shoot that beam at Gibby again. INT check, Gibby. You fail. Again. 20% more damage and you're mind controlled again.
Gibby drools... again.
Metal Man (GM): Necro Knight 2 engulfs Aribar in darkness, and he loses his turn.
Yurie growls, then gently BOPS Gibby on the head with the flat of her sword.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: Does that hit?
Gibby dodges the attack.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby dodges the attack.
Palom: "Gemini! The twins, of light..."
Porom: "And dark!"
Palom: "We unite as one..."
Porom: "And unleash the power of the world and sky!"
Palom and Porom unlink their staves, do a neat little twirl, then point their staves as one at the Knights.
Palom&Porom: "TWIN COMET!"
Wolfman watches these two twins go at it... their power is strange... and yet he is glad they are on their side.
Yurie a rift opns up above the knights. Comets rain down from the rift, exploding on them.
Metal Man (GM): Hit miss miss miss hit miss hit miss miss miss. Knight 1 is hit twice, Knight 2 is hit once. They block the rest with their armor or shields.
Yurie: *50% per hit.*
Metal Man (GM): Necro Knight 1 is looking heavily damaged.
Espen takes his turn to rush up to Knight 1 and slash him.
Metal Man (GM): Miss! Gibby: You're ordered to shoot Espen.
Gibby shoots Espen again.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby: You're now ordered to do another move of your choice against Espen.
Gibby uses his fire breath against Espen.
Metal Man (GM): You are then ordered to just continue, using the best attacks you can think of against Espen.
Gibby fires a jump shot at Espen. "Kiiiiill..."
Metal Man (GM): Necro Knight 1 appears to almost be dead.
Wolfman gets out his Beam Saber and goes swords dancing with him.
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit hit! You kill him. Gibby is released from the mind control yet again. You may continue attacking.
Gibby blinks. "It... happened again, didn't it?"
Wolfman actually pulls off the elaborate dance... he decides to go to the other Necro Knight, rear up with his left hand, and send a smashing hook to him (-2 accuracy for smash)
Metal Man: "Well Gibbs, so far the monsters have been using you to kill Espen."
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Gibby: "Sorry, Espen... apparently I haven't been myself."
