Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 152: Paranoid, Fiery Saviors

Deloth: "Hey, you can't use katanas! Katanas are for good guys!"
Wolfman: "I think they still HAVE katanas..."
Ben: "...Blast! Those cheap Lucky Crystals broke on us!"
VG perks up when he hears that.
Aribar (GM): Congrats! You nullified their Lucky quirk. Now for the battle to begin...
Digifanatic stands back after the badge does its effects.
Aribar (GM): Bill raises his unarmed hand into the air and summons up some of his magic. Clouds of dirt form around Veegee before condensing and crushing the Toad! "Earth Jutsu!"
Metal Man: "Earth whaaat?"
VG hopes to avoid this...
Aribar (GM): IF that hits you take 22% Earth damage and your AC is reduced by 5 for 5 turns.
VG goes from 3 feet to 1 foot... WHA?!?!?
Aribar (GM): He then repeats it on Metal...
Garrick Fy`aar: "They're ninjas. I've read about this. Their using a special type of magic that called chakras."
Metal Man is unharmed. Heheheahahahahahaha.
Aribar (GM): Another 22% Earth a--Darn.
Metal Man: "Nice try, but I still got this powerful Red Essence still goin!"
VG eventually gets himself up... this battle is not going to be easy.
Aribar (GM): His final move is... Geeze! He throws out a SWARM of shuriken at EVERYONE. The following roll affects all. 3% damage per hit.
Wolfman gets plastered by 4 of them.
Metal Man sits there while they bounce off of him.
VG only gets hit by 2 of them.
Metal Man is also magically missed by one of them.
Spyke is struck 5 times. "Grrrrr..." >.<
Ben: "Thunder Jutsu!"
Aribar (GM): Lightning strikes out at Garrick. What a shocking experience!
Garrick Fy`aar steps to the side, the lightning striking just a foot from where he just was "Gotta be faster than that, slick."
Wolfman hasn't seen this form of combat in a while... he tries to make a note of it for future reference.
Ben: "Grrr... Water Jutsu!" *Now a torrent of water washes down on you.*
Aribar (GM): Or not!
Garrick Fy`aar steps again.
Aribar (GM): Ben rushes in to slash you, Garrick.
Garrick Fy`aar gets hit this time.
Aribar (GM): 18% damage.
Garrick Fy`aar: "...alright, I'll give you that one."
Spyke: "Damn, these guys are good..."
VG starts this fight off with a non-traditional start move... (more)
Metal Man: "Do not fear. I shall strafe them good!"
VG gets out two Ice Blocks of his, and tosses them at Bill and Ben, hoping to keep them chilled.
Aribar (GM): They both easily evade the blocks. Bill's hit. And not frozen! Yup.
Wolfman isn't too surprised only one ice block hits... we are dealing with ninja thieves it looks like.
Spyke rises into the air slowly, taking flight as he drops his second and last Rock Candy to the ground, activating it "I hope you like sweets..." (Action 1 of two)
Aribar (GM): Bill's hit. And four Goombas are. Continue.
Spyke then floats there, gathering swirling green energy is his palm, eyes closed.
Ben: "Watch that one! He's doing somethin'..."
Bill: "Goombas, attack him!"
Spyke: .oO(Crap...)
Aribar (GM): I take it your second action is a charge? Garrick's go!
Garrick Fy`aar: "Dex, materialize Energizer!" *A small, Star Trekish teleporting sound occurs and a Energizer appears in Garrick's hand. He quickly pops the top of the container and pours in on his weapon, giving it another 10 damage per attack. How much can this new Dex do? He quickly spins and targets three of the five Goombas, unloading three regular shots at them each*
Aribar (GM): All but the last shot hit. Three dead Goombas! Wolf!
Garrick Fy`aar: "Take out the Goombas first, they'll be bothersome."
Wolfman: "Gotcha."
Digifanatic: "I'll keep it in mind... if any are left."
Wolfman starts off with getting his Howl Buster out. He concentrates his firepower on the... leftmost goomba left.
Aribar (GM): Wolf just barely kills a Goomba.
Wolfman uses his second action for more... nontraditional stuff. He goes to Spyke, and stands IN FRONT of him.
Aribar (GM): Covering him? 'kay.
Digifanatic: "Sticking up for a buddy... I like that."
Wolfman: "Someone's got to do it."
Digifanatic: "Yeah. Too much energy to waste."
VG makes a mental note: start using party helping items next go around.
Spyke would thank Wolf, but he needs to concentrate right now.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Deal with the last Goomba."
Deloth wallops the Goomba with a Wing Crush.
Aribar (GM): Or... Not! Luckily they're too stupid to counterattack...
Metal Man: "Now then. Take this, turbo losers!" *He flies at all of the enemies, strafing ALL of them with two DVDs.*
VG: .oO(Turbo Losers? What TV show was Metal watching late night?)
Aribar (GM): Everyone's hit!
Metal Man (GM): A total of 39 damage to everyone!
Metal Man goes into Overdrive mode! His armor branches out, becoming more angular. His eyes begin to glow with a green bit, and his cape is now larger and flashier. His turn is over. As is his Red essence.
VG: .oO(Oh great... the disco king is back)
Aribar (GM): That one Goomba's still alive too... In fact, its turn is now!
Wolfman is ready to defend.
Metal Man is somewhat disco dancing around as his fighting stance.
Aribar (GM): It throws a Shiruken at Spyke... Who is defended by Wolf.
Wolfman doesn't move. He doesn't get hit by not moving anyway.
Aribar (GM): So it totally avoids you? Okay.
Ben: "Worthless Goomba! You better hope these guys kill you..."
Digifanatic is gonna kill the last Goomba with a Super Mario Punch.
Aribar (GM): Hit! Death!
Digifanatic upon killing the last of the Goom herd, goes to use a Fire Punch on Bill.
Wolfman: "The lackeys are gone at least..."
Ben: "Gah!"
VG: "That's the way to do it!" *Excited.*
Digifanatic: "Thanks." .oO(Thanks VG, and thank you very much Mega Rush!)
Ben: "Hey, get that gun guy! He's too fast for me!" *He points to Garrick.*
Aribar (GM): Bill tries to use an Earth Jutsu on Garrick.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Yeah, come take a shot." *He gets nailed.*
Aribar (GM): Hit! 22% damage and -5 AC for 5 turns.
Bill: "Fire Jutsu!" *Fireballs rain down upon Metal.*
Aribar (GM): I take it that misses?
Metal Man (GM): That misses, yes.
Aribar (GM): Well, if it did hit, Metal, 22% Fire damage and all of your special and Overdrive attacks deal 10% less damage for 5 rounds. Err... Never mind.
Metal Man dodges the Fire Jutsu with his Dodge powers. "Hah hah! You're too slow!"
Aribar (GM): Bill finishes by rushing over to slash Digi .. He trips! One free counterattack.
Digifanatic uses another Fire Punch.
Bill: "Gah!"
Aribar (GM): Ben's go...
Charles Magellean wakens from a trance.
Aribar (GM): He first uses another Thunder Jutsu on Garrick.
Garrick Fy`aar gets busted again.
Aribar (GM): 20% Electrical damage and all damage you take is increased by 10% (Ex: 40% is now 50%) for 5 rounds.
Ben: "Now... Water Jutsu!"
Wolfman notes that Digi is in a similar state to what he was previously...
Aribar (GM): A torrent of water washes down on you...
Garrick Fy`aar gets drenched as well.
Aribar (GM): 20% damage... All of your normal attacks, weapon included, deal 10% less damage for 5 rounds. It then finishes up by rushing over to try and slash Digi.
Charles Magellean awakens.
Aribar (GM): 18% damage.
Charles Magellean: "Yowza! What's going on? ...I followed mindlessly... and now here I am."
Digifanatic is still reeling thanks to Last Stand...
VG notes that Digi is reeling... he needs a boost. He tosses Digi a Red Essence for his first action.
Digifanatic: "Oh sweet, thanks!" *He uses the Essence immediately.*
VG also sees Spyke is charging up something... he gives HIM an Essence essence now.
Ben: "...Go after the belted one! He's giving them glowing candy or something..."
VG has quickly made enemies... "You want stuff as well?"
Bill: "Yeah. Some of that would be nice."
Spyke gathers the rest of his charge and then leaps into the air, carrying a massive ball of swirling wind energy above him. "Rasengan!" He slams the ball, launching it towards Ben.
Aribar (GM): ... Hit!
Digifanatic: "Oh yeah!"
Ben: "GAAAAAAH!"
Aribar (GM): He's still standing...
Deloth: "Kudos, Spyke."
VG: "I have something you guys might want if you won't attack me."
Charles Magellean: "I see... so these people... are responsible for the theft of the sword, kidnapping, and 5-9 other charges."
Wolfman: "Something like that."
Aribar (GM): Garrick.
Garrick Fy`aar downs a Max Mushroom with his first action, then fires off a trio of fiery dumdum rounds at Bill.
Aribar (GM): And a miss.
Charles Magellean holsters his guns... to take out...... "I swear I put that here somewhere... Ah... here it is... my very own relic of power..." *He takes out a skinny, shiny blue rifle-like bazooka.*
Wolfman doesn't recall Locos having this...
Charles Magellean kneels down to aim the Pseudo-Cube Bazooka.
Digifanatic: .oO(Hmm... wonder what Locos has...)
Metal Man (GM): The bazooka glows.
Metal Man: "...Amazing... Locos has located the long lost Pseudo-cube bazooka!"
Charles Magellean: "Alright... which one of these turkeys wants a piece oh this?"
Ben: "He does." *Points to Garrick.*
Bill: "Yup!"
Digifanatic rolls his eyes.
Charles Magellean: "How I would love to use it on him. However... take this!"
Ben: "We'll pay you!"
VG: "Great... not only are you Ninja Thieves, you are LYING Ninja Thieves!"
Charles Magellean readies the bazooka... clicks... and fires at Ben!
Metal Man (GM): *Ben is hit by a beam of light which explodes. Instant 150% damage to Ben!*
Ben: "GAH!"
Bazooka: "Fuel supply empty. Please recharge before using."
Charles Magellean lowers his bazooka... he must end his turn.
Aribar (GM): Ben looks down for the count... He was knocked into the throne which cracks upon impact... It isn't destroyed yet.
Bill: "What did you do to him?! That does it..."
Aribar (GM): Both of them begin to glow...
Charles Magellean: "Mess with the Questers, and ye will taste a Relic of Power."
Deloth: "That's not good..."
Metal Man: "I'll have to shoot Ben some more to make sure he's dead."
VG: "Umm... Locos? I think they have their own relic now."
Aribar (GM): *Death trigger activated!*
VG watches what these guys do.
Wolfman gets a little nervous.
Aribar (GM): Ben stands back up... Both Ninjas walk over to each other...
Digifanatic: "What are they..."
Both: "Ninja technique FUSION!" *... A bright light envelops them... When it clears there is only one left...*
Metal Man: "...More to blow up."
Aribar (GM): Fused being: Bill&Ben
Charles Magellean: "More powerful than before, deadlier techniques..."
Aribar (GM): It looks the same as they both did before, only it dual wields the two kantanas and its suit has bright red highlights.
Metal Man: "I shall destroy your bright red highlights! Now... to make you taste yet another death cannon. DEATHMACHINE!" *He glows, and a large cannon appears in his hands ala wireframe. It then opens up a small portal inside and fires random stuff.*
VG is curious as to what will be fired out of this...
Aribar (GM): Only three things (25, 23, 22) hit.
Metal Man (GM): 20, 8, 20. A total of only 48 damage.
Bill&Ben: "You won't defeat us!" *... It speaks with a creepy double-voice...*
Charles Magellean: "Brrrr! You might not wanna speak."
Bill&Ben: "Why? Do we creep you out, killer?"
Aribar (GM): All but one hit.
Metal Man (GM): 5 damage per hit... the 34 is a crit.
Charles Magellean: "Quite frankly, yes."
Metal Man's turn is over.
Aribar (GM): ... Dah! I forgot Wolf's I think... Yeah... Wolf, go.
Wolfman scans this new hideous beast.
Aribar (GM): *Ding!* ... Scan trigger activated! Boss gains 1000% HP, 20 STR, SPD, and INT!
Metal Man: "I'll see about that!"
Aribar (GM): ... Just kidding.
Smash Dex: Bill&Ben
HP: 098/300% ... Health restored after fusion.
Quirks: Lucky, Thief, Tough Skin (Seal), Weapon Master.

Special: 19-20 Critical Hit Range.
Its Jutsu attacks affect target's damage and defensive outputs. The Shadow Dive attack is extremely dangerous! Avoid at all costs!
Metal Man: "...I don't like the sounds of that Shadow Dive attack..."
Aribar (GM): Continue, Wolf.
Charles Magellean: "What's worse is that it didn't say anything about its strength and Armor Class."
Aribar (GM): Yes.
Wolfman is going to take a gamble now... he gets his beam saber out, and instead of regular attacking... he attempts to DISARM the katana through weapon lock (opposing STR checks Ari; remember that I have 3 luck quirks)
Bill&Ben: "...Do you honestly think we'd have no scan-blocking technology?"
Aribar (GM): You knock away... The Slasher katana.
Wolfman: *Slasher Katana: KA-BROKEN.*
Garrick Fy`aar: "After all the crap we've went through with our scanners, do you honestly thing that we don't have something better?"
Wolfman: "Alright... I disabled one of their weapons." *He is done.*
Bill&Ben: "Grr..."
Digifanatic: "True... we'll see what happens."
Charles Magellean: "I love it when something of the enemy's can't be used by them."
VG chuckles at that thought.
Deloth tries another Wing Crush on the abomination.
Aribar (GM): Miss! Digi
Digifanatic uses a Fire Lunge... trying to get some extra acc the second time through.
Aribar (GM): Hit!
Digifanatic then uses a Super Mario Punch. *WONDER BADGE CRIT.*
Bill&Ben: "Gah! You'll pay for that... But first to kill the bazooka person..."
Charles Magellean: "...Oh... crap." *He checks his watch...*
Wolfman: "Yep."
Aribar (GM): First he fires Shiruken at everyone... The following roll affects all.
Charles Magellean: "Time of death... ...3:29 PM."
Metal Man (GM): Miss... and....
Aribar (GM): 3% per hit.
VG: *Digi: Red Essence Protection.*
Metal Man (GM): 4 hits.
Aribar (GM): He then... Uh oh!
Charles Magellean barely survives.
Metal Man (GM): Damage per hit?
Aribar (GM): Bill&Ben rushes up and replaces that broken Slasher sword with the Firebright Sword from the throne! ... He then rushes over to Locos as the 'screen' turns dark. It feels like a thousand sword slices shred through your body, Locos... Any misses?
Digifanatic: "Locos!"
Wolfman gulps.
Charles Magellean: "..."
VG jumps back a little.
Digifanatic: "He couldn't have survived that..."
Aribar (GM): 130% from the Slicer... 240% Fire from the Firebright sword.
Bill&Ben: "Bwahahahahah! Fear our Shadowdive technique! Now you shall all surrender or else!"
VG is afraid.
Wolfman: "Or else what?"
Bill&Ben: "You obviously came here for this sword... Wouldn't it be a shame if it was broken...?"
Deloth: "You wouldn't."
Wolfman: "...you wouldn't dare."
Charles Magellean appears fully healthy as the screen turns on... and he is without a scratch.
VG: "...wait. I'll give you what I wanted to give you if you give us the sword."
Charles Magellean: "...You gotta be kidding me. That was your 'ultimate' attack? Klumsy himself, when he slips and falls, could do better."
Bill&Ben: "Oh no, little Toad... And you, bazooka man, you couldn't even hope to stand up to it once more."
Charles Magellean: "The name is Charles L. Magellean to you!"
Metal Man: "I shall take the sword from you myself!"
Charles Magellean whips away his bazooka. He takes out his auto guns.
VG: "I'm sorry if you don't want it... but take it anyway!" (action next post)
Bill&Ben: "Charley Magelen? What a stupid name... Now, we shall let you all leave unharmed... For ten thousand coins..."
VG rushes towards the combo of Bill&Ben with... a Deku Stick. He goes to whap them on the head.
Charles Magellean: "...You two truly don't know of the outside world do you?"
VG barely has a working stick... even though he missed.
Bill&Ben: "...What was that?" *... It hits him but does little.*
VG now goes for the good old Grab and Dunk maneuver to hopefully pick him up and toss him down.
Bill&Ben: "Gah!"
VG lifts them up over his head somehow, and then THROWS them down hard to the ground. He feels much better now... well, maybe not.
Aribar (GM): Spyke shoots B&B four times. All but one hit. He's looking worn out... He's also backing away to the throne. Garrick.
Garrick Fy`aar growls, stepping closer to him as he unloads a entire clip of dumdum rounds into him.
Aribar (GM): Two hits. A light surrounds him...
Wolfman wonders what is with that light now...
Aribar (GM): Unfused, both fall to the ground after dropping their respective weapons...
Digifanatic: .oO(What is going on with those two?)
Garrick Fy`aar goes to pick up the Firebright Sword, if possible.
Aribar (GM): ... They don't appear to be moving... Garrick: ... INT check.
Wolfman goes to take the Katana he knocked out (if possible)
Digifanatic stands cautiously, think they just might get back up again...
Aribar (GM): As you go to pick up the Firebright sword... You notice the throne has a bunch of cracks in it... And you think you see light coming out of said cracks.
Charles Magellean: "It's a wonder I left the Questers in the first place. You people don't have much common sense."
VG: "Pardon?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...someone else get the sword."
Deloth: "I will."
Digifanatic: "Alright..."
Deloth walks forwards and takes the sword.
Garrick Fy`aar loads another clip of dumdums into his gun and fires at the throne.
Wolfman is trying to take the broken Katana...
Aribar (GM): Wolfman: It looks nigh-unusable, but you can probably wield it for a bit before it breaks .. *KABOOM! ... Zelda discovery ring!* Looks like you've found a secret passage.
Wolfman takes the Slasher Katana.
Charles Magellean: "Who here wants to bet that Ben & Bill aren't the ringleaders in this circus?"
Digifanatic: "I dunno..."
Garrick Fy`aar guesses that Bill and Ben are dead. So he heads forward into the passage...
Wolfman: "Want me to bet this Katana?"
Digifanatic: "Let's just get the sword and rescue that Toad."
Aribar (GM): You can scan the weapons if you want...
Digifanatic scans the Firebright.
Metal Man follows Garrick.
Aribar (GM): *Ding!* Firebright Sword
Charles Magellean goes forward.
VG wonders about this Firebright... decides to follow Metal; Wolf follows.
Aribar (GM): Ancient weapon used by a legendary warrior in an early era of the Mushroom Kindgom.
Digifanatic: "Ah." *He follows the others.*
Deloth follows Digi, wielding Firebright.
Aribar (GM): Acts as a slashing weapon with a 10% base. Still has the 15% damage limit. Can fire a Fireball (d20+14 modifier) for 30% Fire damage... Number of charges on this unknown.
Garrick Fy`aar leads the way down into the passage, his gun at the ready for anything bad...
Digifanatic: "Well, keep it Del."
Deloth: "Thanks."
Digifanatic: "It's up your alley..."
Aribar (GM): As you continue forward you see an exit back out into the desert... And to your right a small passage with a cell at the end.
Digifanatic: "Ah! Last toad!" *He walks over to the cell.*
VG rushes to the cell.
Toad10: "Oh... Hello! ... Did you kill Bill and Ben?"
Digifanatic is ready to ring up Mewtwo. "Yeah."
VG: "Just did. Now, why were all of you captured?" *He is out of the loop on this mission.*
Deloth: "Were you planning to rat on the B bros?"
Toad10: "Whew... Thank you... We all were captured along with the sword because we were historians who focused our studies around the sword."
Deloth: "You mean Firebright?"
Digifanatic: "Oh... That's gotta be a sad excuse for those two..."
VG: "You're telling me."
Toad10: "They wanted to know, yes, the Firebright Sword, how to activate some of its more special powers... Well, I can take the sword now!"
Deloth: "Why do YOU need it?"
VG: "Research."
Deloth feels something is wrong here...
Charles Magellean: "Deloth, be courteous."
Toad10: "...I need to take it back to the museum... Why? Do you think I'm some sorta spy or something?"
Wolfman stays in the background... and scans the 10th toad.
Aribar (GM): *Ding!*
Charles Magellean: "Wolf, that's not a good ide--"
Deloth: "Guys, I have a bad feeling about this..."
Digifanatic rings up Mewtwo on his Dex.
Aribar (GM): George T.
Charles Magellean: "It's gonna say it's one of the historians."
Aribar (GM): Historian at the Toad Town Museum.
Wolfman: "...I had to be sure."
Mewtwo: "Yes, Digi?"
Digifanatic: "Mewtwo, this is Digi. We got the last Toad here, took care of Bill and Ben, and we have the Sword."
Charles Magellean: "Oi... look, let's all drop them off at the same time."
Digifanatic: "All we need is that warp."
Mewtwo: "Okay... It'll be set up in a second."
Deloth: "I have an idea. We'll return the sword to the museum ourselves."
Digifanatic: "And Locos believes that Bill and Ben aren't the leaders of this shindig..."
Charles Magellean: "Circus."
Digifanatic: "Ah."
Deloth: "They get Firebright, we get a safe delivery, everyone's happy."
Toad10: "No you won't! You'll tarnish it with your grubby hands! Give it here..."
VG: "I don't think the name matters that much."
Deloth: "Now that's just plain rude."
VG: "Look George, it's already 'tarnished' if we go by your definition. What would make your hands pure anyway?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "We just saved you from a easy death, Toad. The least you can do is trust us with a sword."
Digifanatic: "Del, could you please just be a kind guy and--sorry, Mewtwo, Del's a bit reluctant after he picked up the Firebright."
Charles Magellean: "...Let's discuss AFTER we warp, people."
Digifanatic: "Right."
Deloth shoots Digi a look.
Charles Magellean: "Another minute here ---cough---look, my poison is getting worse. Let's just leave."
Toad10: "...Just give it here! No need to tarnish it even more by keeping it in your hands!"
Garrick Fy`aar looks around for anything else of value. He could use a nice horde of coins for his building of the Dexes...
Deloth: "Look, what the hell is wrong with us delivering it? We'll be careful!"
Metal Man: "I say give it to the Toad."
Aribar (GM): Garrick: Umm... There's some bones in the corner of that cell! That's about it.
VG: "I say George needs to explain himself."
Wolfman: "And I say that I don't like this desert heat... make up your minds."
Garrick Fy`aar shrugs, then heads back to see if Bill and Ben have anything on them.
Charles Magellean looks nice and around.
Toad10: "How would you like it if some stranger stole the most precious object in your life and another group took it from them and then refused to give it back?"
Charles Magellean: "Gonna check for scavengings..."
Digifanatic: "Exactly."
Metal Man: "Give him the sword."
VG recalls having something like that happen before...
Aribar (GM): Garrick: Besides a slew of coins (Enough for 350 to each person), nothing. Yes, Locos.
VG: "...Deloth, just give it up."
Garrick Fy`aar heads back and gives everyone their share of coins.
Charles Magellean: "..."
Digifanatic: "Thanks, Garrick."
Charles Magellean goes through a slew of memories.
Metal Man: "It isn't your sword... it's the Toad's."
Deloth: "And how many times have we been duped by a disguise? Count them for me, will you?"
Wolfman: "Deloth, as Ex-President of this group, I order you to give the sword to the toad."
Charles Magellean: "...Count one more."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Dex, scan."
Metal Man: "If he's in disguise, we kill him."
Garrick Fy`aar scans the Toad.
Metal Man: "But I don't think he's in disguise."
Aribar (GM): George T.
Wolfman: "...I already did that."
Charles Magellean: "Garrick... wolf already did that!"
Aribar (GM): Historian at the Toad Town Museum.
Metal Man: "As leader of the Questers. I order you to give him the sword."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...give him the sword."
Metal Man: "It is my responsibility, not yours."

Metal Man: "Now then. To test this is not a disguise..." *He tries to take off the Toad's hat.*
Mewtwo: "Sorry it's taking so long... Mack needs to find some bubble gum to fix the control panel in the warp room."
Aribar (GM): ... AAAAAAAAAH!
VG: "...hey, watch it! Not many toads like to have their hats taken off!"
Aribar (GM): Metal reveals this toad to be... The horror! The horror!
VG can handle it, though.
Aribar (GM): ... He's bald!
Metal Man: "...That looks like a Toad to me."
Charles Magellean: "...The remains of the toad is that pile of bones."
VG: "Locos, you are an idiot."
Charles Magellean: "Oh really..."
Digifanatic: "Please, Locos..."
Toad10: "...H-hey! Gimme my hat back!"
Metal Man puts the hat back.
Charles Magellean: "...Ya know, I may be an idiot..."
Metal Man: "Now then. Deloth, give me the firebright sword."
Charles Magellean tries a true vision check.
Toad10: "Now, you spoony Quester, give it here!"
Metal Man: "I shall show you that the Toad is either a Toad or a complex illusion."
Wolfman: .oO(Is it just me, or are we becoming more paranoid?)
Aribar (GM): Locos: You detect nothing.
Metal Man: "And if he's real... you won't hear the end of my lectures! I still say we should just give it to him. It's not like Kuja would morph into a Toad to trick us."
Digifanatic: "Yes, please... Before any of us go insane..."
Aribar (GM): ... The Toad runs over to kick Deloth's shins. "Give it here you grubby... Thing!"
Deloth grabs the Toad by the leg.
Metal Man: "No! You're too weak!" *He runs over and kicks Deloth's shins.*
Charles Magellean: "Now I get it..."
Deloth: "Now that's no way to ask for thing-OW!"
VG chuckles at that.
Charles Magellean: "This toad is overzealous in his work."
Deloth: "Metal, LAY OFF."
Charles Magellean: "Deloth, there's nothing to worry about now."
Metal Man: "Now then. Give me or the Toad the sword."
Wolfman gets his Howl Buster out. "Don't make me shoot your arm."
Metal Man: "Either way, you don't need to bogard it."
Deloth: "Hold it."
Charles Magellean: "I did a good through check with my sixth sense and there's nothing weird about a toad that's obsessed with his job."
Metal Man: "I mean, it's just an antique with limited power."
Deloth: "Can anyone patch through to the museum?"
Toad10: "...It's closed on weekends."
Metal Man: "...Now then. If I cannot have the sword, then... I shall delete your pay check! Ha ha ha ha!"
Charles Magellean: "...Look, let's just do the chase scene and/or big fight now. Deloth, give the toad his sword and see what the true motives are. I can handle one more fight."
Deloth: "WHAT IS THE LOGIC OF THAT? If he's real, fine. But if he's not, what could happen?"
Metal Man presses buttons. "Uhhh... you might want to hurry up... your paycheck for this mission will be deleted in 15 seconds."
Charles Magellean: "..." *He pulls out his autoguns.*
Toad10: "You're holding my leg! I'm in the air! I can't even run away..."
Charles Magellean: "*bleep*In' sword."
Metal Man: "Fifteen! Fourteen! Thirteen! Twelve! Eleven! Ten! Nine!"
Deloth: "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE PAYCHECK."
Aribar (GM): He tries to grab it from Deloth.
Metal Man: "Eight! Seven! Six! Okay then."
Aribar (GM): Opposed Strength checks!
Smash Dex: "Paycheck deleted."
Deloth: *Lucky 1.*
Metal Man: "No! You're too weak!" *He tries to take the sword.*
Garrick Fy`aar shakes his head, sighing.
Metal Man: "Yes! I have the sword! Now. Release the Toad!"
Digifanatic: "PHEW!"
Deloth suddenly relaxes, and a smirk crosses his face.
Wolfman: "Deloth, WHY must you make things more difficult for us?"
Metal Man: "I must deliver the sword to the correct owner."
Digifanatic: "Alright Mewtwo, if Mack has that warp set, we can get the Toad and Sword back."
Deloth: "You can keep the sword. But let's deliver George here to the museum."
Charles Magellean: "Cause he's a jackass."
VG just doesn't get these guys...
Metal Man: "...Am I going to have to play tug-of-war with the Toad now?"
Toad10: "Come on, big metal guy... Hand me the sword... Please?"
Garrick Fy`aar sighs from his corner, thinking this is just a waste of time.
Metal Man: "Okay." *Gives the Toad the sword.* "There. You have the sword. Now either thank us or become evil and attack us."
Toad10: "...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
Deloth: "I told you, you big lummox."
Toad10: "Now... I can finally show the other guys... That I can take care of the sword! Thanks!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Shut up, Toad."
Metal Man: "Please thank me for having a mind."
Digifanatic: "Alright, hopefully Mack's got the warp done."
Metwo: "The warp's fixed... You'll be warped in five, four, thre--" *WARP!*
Metal Man: "Geez... a good thing I'm the leader... otherwis---" *WARP.*
Deloth: "Please thank ME for wanting to keep the sword safe."
Wolfman says nothing. WARP.
VG: *Sigh* *WARP.*
Aribar (GM): You appear at the sword's display at the museum... All of the other nine toads are standing around the sword's stand and watch you warp in.
Digifanatic: "Nice place you got here, Toads."
Wolfman and VG just stand back and watch.
Toad10: "I rescued the sword, everyone! Five Goombas surround me, but I wasn't scared... Soon all ten of them pounced on me, but I fought back! Soon there were twenty less Goombas in the world."
Garrick Fy`aar sighs.
Deloth's eye twitches.
Metal Man laughs.
Aribar (GM): The toad puts the sword back onto the stand and they all congradulate him.
Wolfman now has THREE weapons... he needs to get rid of the Slasher Katana at G&W's store.
Metal Man: "Well, while most of that story was exaggerated, at least it left out the part where Deloth went insane and tried to keep the Katana."
Garrick Fy`aar: "If we're through with this, I'd like to get back to the stadium and pick up whatever payment we got for this mission."
Metal Man (GM): .oO(*Mind thinks of 'You're too weak!' scene repeatedly*)
Mewtwo: "Sorry about the premature warp... That bubble gum didn't work. Luckily, some paper clips did the trick and you'll be out of there... Now... Mack, you can press the button... You did? Ummm... Mayb--- " *WARP!*
VG has gained a level.
Wolfman has not.
VG gains 3 BP.
Aribar (GM): Back at base Mewtwo rates the Mission an A... Everyone gains 500 extra coins, but Wolf gains 50 more for being a helpful Quester and covering Spyke.
Wolfman: "Thanks."
Aribar (GM): Hrm...
VG: *REFUND badge: Items used were 2 ice blocks, 2 red essences, and 1 deku stick (unbroken)*
Metal Man (GM): VG gains: 3000 coins!
Aribar (GM): Deloth gains 20 coins... You didn't delete it all apparently. So, how was that mission besides being all bark and no bite threat-wise?
Garrick Fy`aar: "If there isn't anything else new, Mewtwo, I'm going to head back to Nova."
Mewtwo: "Oh! But there is!"
VG: "Oh?"
Mewtwo: "While you were out... the South Pole turned into a jungle!"
Deloth stops and turns around "When?"
Mewtwo: "Just recently... in fact... right when Bill and Ben died..."
Wolfman: "No offense Mewtwo, but that sounds preposterous."
Mewtwo: "See for yourself..."
Metal Man (GM): Mewtwo turns on the TV in R&R.
Wolfman looks at the Viewing Globe... never mind He looks at the TV.
Metal Man (GM): It shows a huge jungle on the South Pole...
Deloth runs into the R&R room "Okay, I'm stumped. How did that happen?"
Metal Man (GM): ...In the center there's a weird pattern... something that looks like a huge jewel on the bottom of the planet.
Digifanatic: "Yeah, same here..."
Mewtwo: "I... don't... know..."
VG: "...Mewtwo, how severe is this situation?"
Mewtwo: "Unknown. However, a strange phenomenon has been seen on the area. Time does not pass there."
VG: "The reason I ask... I don't think we are ready for this. Doesn't the South Pole have a lot of water... albeit, frozen water?"
Mewtwo: "The trees do not grow or move... and pictures and sensors report the same things 24/7."
Deloth: "...A time trap on the South Pole? Guys, we need to go there ASAP."
Mewtwo: "The warp room is still being fixed."
Wolfman wonders what VG is getting at.
Mewtwo: "It was broken by the same occurrence..."
Digifanatic: "Oh, nuts."
Mewtwo: "A massive... time phenomenon."
Deloth: "Kuso... What happened?"
Mewtwo: "Bill and Ben died. Then, a huge amount of energy blasted the Warp Room. Then, the South Pole turned into that thing... ...Then you came in."
VG: "Mewtwo, last I shopped at G&W's, I noticed that there were Zora Breathers available... but they seem to take too much BP if we are to explore the jungle or tundra or whatever it is. Is there any way you can get Oak to reduce the amount needed?"

Mewtwo: "That is both the flag of the mysterious object there... AND the layout of the bottom pole. It baffles me how it appeared."
VG: "...kind of a childish flag, don't you think?"
Deloth: "Veege, quiet."
VG hushes.
Deloth: "Are you sure there's no way to get there?"
Mewtwo: "Yes. We must wait a bit for the warp rooms to be repaired. Furthermore, we must... redefine the warp target to send you inside there... it's surrounded by a barrier."
Wolfman: "I'll go to Oak in the mean time to see if he can fix up the Zora Breathers then... granted, I still don't think I need one, but just in case..." *He starts heading towards Oak's workshop. He will handle G&W after Oak, for the record.*
Garrick Fy`aar finds a nice safe spot to wait for the mission. He sits and presses a button on his Dex "Dex, contact Nova."
Metal Man (GM): You hear some racket in the warp room.
Mack: "Gadzooks! This maschine ish all bonkers!"
Professor Oak: "Hello Wolfman."
Deloth: "Something tells me we need a better mechanic..."
Wolfman: "I have a strange question here... do you have any idea why the Zora Breathers require a lot of BP?"
Professor Oak: "They are old and required the same back in the old days... when Questers had more BP. They haven't been improved for at least a year."
Wolfman: "What will it take to improve them?"
Mack: "The time distortioner has been distorted! THE TIME DISTORTIONER HAS BEEN DISTORTED!!!!"
Professor Oak: "Some financing."
Mack: "...Amazing! It broke Master Hand's Time Distortioner..."
Deloth facepalms and lies down on a sofa in the R&R.
Wolfman: "I'm sure there is still a lot of money in our backup account..."
Mack: "That thing dates from when this place was first made!"
Wolfman: "...but I'm guessing you don't want to use that."
Professor Oak: "I'll use any money you can get."
Garrick Fy`aar walks into the warp room, looking at Mack "...troubles?"
Wolfman: "Give me an estimate."
Mack: "The time distortioner has been distorted!"
Professor Oak: "Oh... about 15,000 coins will be needed."
Mack: "That means a rift in time sliced right through here..."
Wolfman: "...on the condition that either I get one for free or we test me to see if I can handle the waters here without one."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...need some help? I've got a bit of experience from the warper in Nova's place and the system I built into the new Dexes."
Professor Oak: "That's perfectly fine."
Wolfman gives Oak the 15K coins... not using Resource Quirk for this.
Mack: "Well, you see, back in the first days of the Stadium, these things were all that they had... They cannot break unless somebody has been fooling around with dimensions. Time, space, or whatever has been manipulated to achieve something of great distorting power!"
Garrick Fy`aar walks in, taking his jacket off and throwing it into a corner. He lands heavily with a large THUNK like it's filled with a good deal of junk. He gets down and takes a look at what Mack is looking at. "We'll deal with that later. Right now, let's just fix the damn thing."
Metal Man (GM): Mack is looking at a stretched-out black hourglass. It's solid black... like the material Metal's car is made out of.
Professor Oak: "Woah! That's just what I need. I'll get to work immediately."
Wolfman: "Thank you Professor."
Digifanatic exhales heavily and is resting on a sofa. In one hand he's holding a pencil and the other, a pad of paper.
Wolfman goes over to G&W now... he REALLY needs to sell this katana for extra money.
Mack: "These things are rare... only Master Hand would have these! And he's gone missing... long ago... We have to jury-rig it for one last use... Anyone have a hammer?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...hammer? Hammer... I've got one back in Nova's place."
Mack: "No! A better one. Like... The strongest hammer ever! This material is too tough to use normal hammers on. Watch."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...well, the biggest hammer I can think of is Link's Megaton Hammer. Shall I contact him?"
Metal Man (GM): Mack throws the thing at a wall. It flies through the wall and into R&R.
Mack: "Sure thing!"
Digifanatic: "Hmm...'It's been quite a while, but...' Nah, that's not right. 'It's good to finally be trying to write and...' Sounds like I'm too lazy..."
Metal Man (GM): People in R&R: A huge distressed hourglass flies through the wall and rolls on the floor.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Simber, you there?"
SIMBER: "Affirmative."
Digifanatic: "Whoa!"
Deloth notices a flying black hourglass raze his hair and roll to a stop on the floor.
VG notes the hourglass...
Garrick Fy`aar: "Can you contact Link and tell him to get to the warp room A.S.A.P.?"
Deloth: "Hmm..."
Digifanatic puts the pad and pencil down. He scans the hourglass.
Deloth: "Nothing unusual."
Smash Dex: "Time distortioner."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Hey! Could you guys throw that back?"
VG: "...Does anyone else feel that we need a new mechanic?"
SIMBER: "Affirmative."
Smash Dex: "One of a kind... this one is damaged."
Digifanatic: "Time... distortioner?"
Smash Dex: "It needs to be hit with a hammer."
Deloth gets up and picks up the hourglass.
SIMBER: "Link will be here in three days."
Digifanatic closes his Dex.
VG: "Hammer..."
Deloth: "Here's the windup... and the pitch!"
VG: "Wait! Wolfman has a hammer!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...three days... right... who else has a Megaton Hammer?"
Metal Man (GM): The hourglass is light but sturdy.
Garrick Fy`aar: "...Deloth, don't throw it!"
VG tries to think of where he went... he goes towards Oak's workshop.
Digifanatic: *He gets back to the sofa, concerned about his writing.*
Wolfman meanwhile, is going towards G&W's shop.
Garrick Fy`aar: "...just... hand it to me." *He reaches through the hole for it.*
Metal Man (GM): Woffleman walks into R&R on the way to GW's.
Deloth hands the hourglass to Garrick.
Metal Man (GM): Garrick gets it back.
VG bumps into Wolfman by accident.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Wolfman, there you are. Wolf, could you hit this with your Megaton Hammer?"
Wolfman: "Oomph! Easy there VG... I wasn't gone that long."
VG: *Chuckles.*
Garrick Fy`aar: "Just one solid smack, right here on top."
Wolfman: "What must I hit here Garrick?" *He gets his hammer out.*
Garrick Fy`aar sets the hourglass on the ground, then backs up.
Mr. Game and Watch: "Hit the hourglass!"
Wolfman heaves... and Hoes it down.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH* The hourglass is returned to normal shape.
Wolfman: "Like that?"
Digifanatic: "Wait a second...'Before you all start freaking out, I'm doing good. My fellow comrades have been doing various deeds. We just recovered a sword back to the Toad Town Museum, and two of my buddies helped prevent a giant cannon from striking HQ.'" *He writes all this down on the pad.*
Wolfman turns to G&W. "I was looking for you... I have a weapon to sell."
Mr. Game and Watch: "Ah. What is it?"
Wolfman pulls out the Slasher Katana.
Deloth: "Watcha doin', Digi?"
Wolfman: "I recovered this from two thieves that were attacking us. I have no use for it."
Digifanatic: "I'm writing a letter back to my buddies on Earth. Japan and New England, to be exact. Fellow comrades of mine back when the Digital World was having its problems. I try to keep in contact with them as often as possible."
Deloth: "I don't know if Fedex covers cross-planet deliveries."
Digifanatic: "Hehe."
Metal Man (GM): GW takes the new hourglass and plugs it into the warp room.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Alright, anything else we need to do, Mack?"
Metal Man (GM): I have no clue why he wandered out and did that. But he just did.
Digifanatic: "We're all great friends in the biz. Besides, there are post offices around HQ that handle that sorta thing... the letters just go through warps and stuff."
Mr. Game and Watch: "I will pay you 1,500 coins for that katana."
Deloth: "I see..."
Wolfman sells the katana and gets... well, whatever amount it ends up.
Metal Man (GM): I must make Esprinto's moves, then mission! Get ready for it. It's gonna be crazy.
Deloth stands up and heads to G&W's shop.
Digifanatic: *The kid gets back to writing his letter. * "'So anyways, we've discovered some odd disturbance in the South Pole of this place, so I'm lucky to be on this break right now. We'll get to each other soon. Sincerely, Ian/Digi.' Well, that takes care of that." *He folds the letter and goes looking for an envelope--he has plenty of stamps back in his room.*
Mr. Game and Watch: "Hello, Deloth."
Digifanatic finds an envelope, quickly runs over to his room, attaches a stamp, addresses the envelope, and sticks it in the HQ's "Out" drawer.
Deloth: "Hi."
Digifanatic: "That should get to 'em in a day or two."
Mack: "I fixed the warp room!"
Digifanatic: "Oh, thank goodness."
Deloth purchases a Mid Mushroom, four Energy Capsules and a Red Essence.
Digifanatic: *After rushing from the in/out bin, he heads back to HQ, grabs a quick soda--he needs it--and is set to report to the Warp.*
Deloth gives 1408 coins to G&W and heads to the Warp Room.
Metal Man (GM): The warp room is glowing... Mack is sitting there.
Mack: "Well, that's two people..."
Digifanatic starts walking towards the Warp Room. "Guys, anytime you're ready!"
Mack: "You might have to wait. There's only two of you ready yet."
Garrick Fy`aar walks into the room as well, not having bought anything. Nothing he needed... except... "...no, never mind. I'm here, ready to go."
Digifanatic: "Hey Garrick. Man, this is nuts having practically only these minutes right now to rest."
Mack: "That's three... you sure?"
Digifanatic: "Eh, someone else might come."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Nova will back you up if you need more energy to warp in more."
Mack: "It's up to you whether you want to start with three people or wait."
Digifanatic: "They better, though. If the South Pole is barriered, I think there's going to be a lot of difficult battles to be won."
Deloth: "Hrm..."
Digifanatic: "You know what's sad? We're supposed to be protecting the Smash Stadium and the security of its fighters..."
Deloth: "I'll be right back."
Digifanatic: "...Yet rarely, they come to help us. You'd think they'd be helping us as a token of our servitude."
Mack: "You forgot... They had you come because if they fought the enemies, there would be no battles!"
Digifanatic: "Exactly. But it's just strange how the only Smashers we've been coming across in session have been the bad guys. Sure, we have a great helper in Game and Watch, but that's it. I just find it odd. End of story."
Mack: "Of course! No good smasher would be wandering out and about to help you. They're at the stadium to fight eachother and entertain the fans."
Digifanatic: "Point taken."
Mack: "And they are the main income of this place... while you are the main place where the money is spent."
Digifanatic: "Yup."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...I have a question."
Digifanatic: "It's quite interesting how the system works. As basic as it is."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...never mind. This place reminds me so much of Ancient Rome..."
Digifanatic: "Heh. Yeah, it does."
Deloth walks back into the Warp Room.
Garrick Fy`aar: "It's pathetic how much it does."
Deloth: "I'm ready to go."
Garrick Fy`aar: "The heroes of the world fight each other for the admiration and love of the people while we Questers go out and actually save the world."
Deloth: "Almost makes you throw up."
Garrick Fy`aar: "No, but it pisses me off."
Mack: "...While you may not like it, there are worse people looking for you to become disillusioned!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Looking for us? Pfft, they never look at us. It's either Mario or Link or Captain Falcon."
Digifanatic leans up against a wall, arms crossed.
Mack: "I wouldn't be so sure... all of the enemy attacks save for a few have been directly at you guys."
Digifanatic: "Because we're the bodyguards, that's why."
Garrick Fy`aar: "See, I go by this rule: Why do I fight? Because there is no one else that can do it. But the flaw in this is that there IS someone else to do it. Men and women who are far more powerful than us."
Digifanatic: "We protect the Stadium, the Smashers just use it. And every enemy would rather attack those who protect it first and have the security and freedom of the Stadium diminished. And then they try to take it over."
Garrick Fy`aar: "But why protect the stadium when the people we are protecting are much more powerful than us?"
Digifanatic: "You have a good point."
Mack: "Simple. If they fight the bad guys, there is no stadium, and no jobs for you."
Deloth leans out the door of the warp room *Shouting* "If anyone else wants to come, they had better get in here!"
Digifanatic: "But then again, when was the last time you saw Mario enter a Trance... or Pikachu Overdrive into a Raichu for a match, you know?"
Deloth leans back into the warp room.
Garrick Fy`aar: "To be honest, we're growing more powerful every mission."
Digifanatic: "That's the one thing we have that they don't."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Sooner or later we're going to be stronger than they are."
Digifanatic: "And you are correct. I might be using items, but when I first came back, I wasn't hitting very well. Now, I have a pretty good streak going."
Deloth: "In other news, are we ready to go?"
Digifanatic: "Even with these benefits."
Mack: "Almost..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Shut up, Del. We're waiting for more people."
Digifanatic: "Hang on, I think I might want another X Acc or two... I'll... be right back."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...oh, Mack, I've used that move you gave me... sixteen times."
Digifanatic runs to the Item Show, buys two more X Accuracies and an X Defend, and comes back."
Mack: "And?"
Spyke walks into the Warp Room, calmly looking around.
Garrick Fy`aar shrugs "Just thought you'd like to know."
Esprinto appears in the warp room. "Hello... I am a new recruit."
Garrick Fy`aar draws his M150 on the dot, pointing it at Esprinto "...another Quester... figures."
Mack: "...What are you, trigger happy?"
Esprinto: "Uh... wanna put that thing away?"
Digifanatic: "Eh, you can never be too sure in today's world. That's my opinion."
Garrick Fy`aar: "No, I'm cautious. You said the warp room was broken, maybe someone used it to bust in."
Editor's Note: Given Esprinto was so annoying he was banned, I don't blame Garrick one bit. :p
Digifanatic: "Eh, that too."
Garrick Fy`aar holsters his gun, folding his arms over his chest.
Mack: "...Paranoid... paranoid and disillusioned. I sure hope your head is screwed on tight!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "New recruit, huh? Well, go get you stuff from Mewtwo then. Big room, out there."
Esprinto: "So... uh... what is the deal with you guys?"
Digifanatic: "We're the actual Questers."
Esprinto nods and goes into said room.
Digifanatic: "Eh, I'll get back to him later."
Metal Man (GM): Mewtwo, a floating psychic cat who's about 7 feet tall, is sitting there.
Mewtwo: "Yes?"
Esprinto: "Uh... people sent me in here to get stuff... does anyone else find it odd that you are a giant floating cat?"
Mewtwo: "No... this world is filled with things that are odd. I have your things."
Metal Man (GM): Mewtwo hands Esprinto that baseball bat and a smash dex.
Esprinto: "Gimme."
Metal Man (GM): And the 7000 coins.
Esprinto: "Uh... thanks... what is a smash dex?"
Mewtwo: "A pocket computer. Used to scan enemies and get tips."
Esprinto: "Right."
Digifanatic: *Meanwhile, back with Garrick...* "I've also noticed that, I dunno if you have, but I've seem to have been a lot less naive and more thoughtful since I've come around."
Esprinto walks out of the room holding his new stuff.
Digifanatic: "When I FIRST first came here, about, oh... four years back (in his time), I was just saying things and doing stuff and everyone was angry at me and everything... now I've seemed to have simmered down quite a bit."
Metal Man (GM): Esprinto: You get back to the warp room. A large portal is on the floor.
Mack: "Well. There's the portal. You guys ready?"
Digifanatic: "Hello again, new Quester. Do you mind introducing you to us?"
Esprinto: "Hi... did you guys know there's a portal on that floor?"
Digifanatic: "Yeah, we're just waiting for everyone else. Whoever everyone else is."
Esprinto: "I am Esprinto... dark master of the aluminum bat."
Digifanatic: "Ah."
Esprinto makes spooky noises.
Mr. Game and Watch: "Hmmm... we should wait for Deloth."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...*Rolls his eyes*... Why is it I'm guessing we have someone crazier than Metal now?"
Esprinto: "What? You guys aren't scared?"
Digifanatic: "No, man. We deal with crazy things a lot."
Esprinto: "Well poo..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Like a weird man in a suit that uses doors."
Mack: "That's the name of a Smasher!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...yes... we know, Mack."
Esprinto blinks.
Digifanatic: "So anyways, a slugger... well, pleased to meet you. My real name is Ian, but I prefer that everyone calls me by my nickname, Digifanatic, or Digi for short." *He extends one of his hands towards Esprinto's.*
Garrick Fy`aar nods sharply "Garrick Fy`aar, local gunman."
Spyke speaks up after a bit of silence. All he says is "Hi." and a brief "Name's Spyke."
Esprinto: "Uh... nice ta meet you too... I don't have a nickname."
Digifanatic: "Oh, that's okay. It doesn't matter... you are what you are, I guess."
Esprinto: "So... what do we do? Do we get to crack skulls?" *Hopeful grin.*
Mack: "Whenever Deloth comes back..."
Digifanatic: "Well, close enough. We burn people, use crazy spells, stuff like that. Sometimes I steal enemies' coins."
Esprinto: "My specialty is straight up hurting things I suppose..."
Digifanatic: "We're all of different styles. Ah. Well, it's glad to have another guy on the team."
Spyke leans against a wall and looks around. "How much longer are we going to wait?"
Digifanatic: "I don't know."
Esprinto examines his fingers.
Spyke: "Hmm... So, everyone have what they need for this? Like... items?"
Gibby notices everyone entering the warp, and spastically jumps in.
Mack: "Well, you might as well follow him. The warp is ready... Gibby just leaped in."
Esprinto leaps in.
Spyke leaps into the warp with an excited "Woo!"
Garrick Fy`aar sighs and just walks in.
Digifanatic enters the Warp.
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* You all appear... outside a large, gem-shaped fortress.
Esprinto: "Oh boy!...Who do I hurt first?"
Metal Man (GM): There's four poles protecting it. Two are surrounded by water. The other two are surrounded by grass.
Spyke: "... Great... Now what?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...the pillars must be protecting that fortress. Dex, scan."
Digifanatic: "This is quite interesting."
Smash Dex: "...Ding!"
Esprinto: "Seriously... who do I hurt first?"
Smash Dex: "The fortress of ???. It is protected by four pillars. Together, they power a force field around it."
Gibby: "Hmm..."
Smash Dex: "You must destroy all four pillars to enter."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Anything on the pillars?"
Smash Dex: "The pillars are manned by mysterious lifeforms, and have complex computers."
Gibby: "Well... lets get to smashing!"
Spyke: "Great..."
Digifanatic: "Okay then."
Metal Man (GM): Which pillar do you pick first?
Garrick Fy`aar: "Let's try something else first..." *He walks up to one of the pillars in the grass.*
Metal Man (GM): There's a Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, Southeast.
Spyke: "Huh? Like what?"
Esprinto: "...I want northwest!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Getting some more information..."
Gibby follows Garrick.
Metal Man (GM): Garrick reaches the Northwest one...
Gibby: "Might as well."
Metal Man (GM): The pillar rises out of the ground. Out appears...
Spyke walks behind Gibby, watching the pillar.
Metal Man (GM): 7 Blue Starmen!
Digifanatic carefully follows.

Gibby: "Woah!" *He pulls out his gun.*
Starmen: "You are an enemy. Terminate."
Spyke: "What are these things?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...great. Let's go to work then."
Esprinto: "Bring it."
Starmen: "Attack."
Metal Man (GM): Everyone: Say your Spds.
Spyke snaps into a firing stance, and fires his gun off a single time, strangely without an air trail.
Metal Man (GM): Lucky Start: The computer mainframe to the pole appears in view. Spyke hits the Starman.
Spyke: *Crit! And chance of haywire.*
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* Locos appears belatedly.
Digifanatic: "Hmm... if we destroy the mainframe, maybe we can finish this faster."
Gibby: "Hello, Locos."
Spyke: "Hey, Locos."
Gibby: "Sounds like a good plan."
Metal Man (GM): The Haywire chance occurs. The Starman goes nuts.
Charles Magellean: "Brrrrrr! It's cold!...What are we doing now?"
Digifanatic: "Some disturbance in here."
Esprinto: "Breaking things I'd hope!"
Digifanatic: "Well, we gotta smash the pillars in order to move on."
Spyke slams his fist into the ground, a vortex of wind forming around him. It compresses into an orb and flies at Starman 2.
Metal Man (GM): Starman 2 is hit!
Spyke: *40% Wind with Crit applied.*
Digifanatic: "Esprinto, have you applied an item called the Wonder Badge?"
