Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 179: Axioms of City Destruction

Metal Man (GM): Last time of Super Smash Quest... *Image of a huge, black ship, and a gigantic armada, attacking a huge utopia, which looks much like the emerald city, but blue and white.* The so-called 'Axiom of Balance' attacked Eisnaught, attempting to crush the government of Nintendus. *The ship in the center of the huge armada suddenly opens up, and a cannon pops out.* Julian, in his attempt to disable the main ship, set off a gigantic cannon. *A blue laser blows up most of the tall buildings, and the city is almost completely wrecked* Even though it damaged the ship that fired it, the attack almost completely destroyed the city below. Julian attempted to flee, but was caught in-between by three bad guys.
Metal Man (GM): Julian vs. Slog, Ice Boo, and Space Pirate. A new option is allowed. 'Run' You may use your entire turn to attempt to flee the battle, losing some coins in the process. Julian: Your SPD?
Julian Sawyer: *Makes a run for it, then.*
Metal Man (GM): Okay... You have a 72% chance of escaping. You escape! You lose... 500 coins. Julian flees from the battle, into the main room, where everyone is. Because otherwise he'd be rushing right back into battle.
VG: "So, how'd it go?"
Metal Man (GM): The bad guys stop chasing you, of course.
Metal Man: "...Yeah. All those explosions sounded like you did some damage. We saw some guards running into the place you were in."
Wolfman: "Let's just hope it's enough damage then."
Julian Sawyer: "I took out the power and computers."
Metal Man (GM): There's five ways to go.
Julian Sawyer: "I was going to destroy more, but I got caught, as you can see."
Metal Man (GM): Engineering, the leftmost top room, which Julian was just in...
Aribar catches up with the others. "Sorry I was so late... These accursed shoes got untied again."
Metal Man (GM): The Bridge, which is center top room...
VG: "Julian, did you... well, remember to look at a MAP of the place while you were there?"
Metal Man (GM): The Guard room, which is the central right room.
VG looks at the intersection we're at.
Julian Sawyer: *Takes off the Robot disguise while he's at it, not much good now.* "I don't think it had one."
Metal Man (GM): And two ways back; the left way being the 'Robots-only' way, the right way being the 'Human-only' way.
Metal Man: "Well then. Where should we go next? The guard room is probably horribly guarded."
Wolfman: "Wouldn't the bridge also be guarded?"
Metal Man: "...But so is every way... heck, we all almost got killed by that small attack force."
VG: "So we might as well go to the bridge and get this over with."
Metal Man: "Yes. We should."
VG: "Besides... I'm missing the Today Show!"
Metal Man: "...There might not be one anymore... if it was exploded."
Wolfman starts going to the bridge.
Metal Man follows.
Wolfman: "We'll talk about television later; right now, we have stuff to do."
Metal Man (GM): You find the way suspiciously unguarded.
Julian Sawyer: *Heads for the bridge as well.* "Maybe we should go back to engineering and destroy all the stuff I tried to destroy."
Wolfman: .oO(...this area is suspiciously unguarded... a trap, perhaps? ...ha.)
Metal Man (GM): Another door opens... showing the wide-open bridge. The master controls are dead ahead. There's a huge window, too. Out the window, you see the almost completely destroyed Eisnaught.
VG enters... and sees...?!?
Metal Man: "...Uhhhh... how did that happen?"
VG: "...Eisnaught... destroyed?!?!?" *He is feeling his blood boil... He then turns to Julian.* "Please tell me that you didn't hit anything in there."
Aribar: "Well, so far all of our missions seem to be going 'well'."
Wolfman just looks at the controls to see where it plans on going, mission objectives, stats, etc.
Metal Man: "Yeah... the explosions came right after you entered that place..."
Julian Sawyer: "Nothing I didn't intend to."
Metal Man (GM): The controls show that it is now hovering, and that all systems are on standby.
VG: "...did you or did you not destroy Eisnaught?"
Julian Sawyer: "I didn't, the ship did."
Metal Man (GM): You notice a blinking indicator on the controls.
Wolfman ignores the banter, and attempts to find a way to steer this ship into a volcanic crater or something... then he sees the light.
Metal Man (GM): 'Magitek Cannon fired prematurely'
Wolfman sees the message... Magitek?
Metal Man (GM): 'Mission complete; Eisnaught secured'
Wolfman now turns to Julian... "...Julian... did you fire the cannon without knowing where it was aimed at?"
Julian Sawyer: "I didn't know it was a cannon in the first place."
VG: "That's no excuse!" *Runs to Julian in an attempt to Grab and Dunk him.*
Julian Sawyer: *Side-steps the angry mushroom.*
Metal Man (GM): ...A video then plays, showing Julian touching a panel marked ???... thus causing a cannon to destroy Eisnaught... or at least, half of it.
Metal Man: "...We should really stop this. Is there anything in here of use?"
VG tries that again... he really wants to take down Julian for doing that.
Editor's Note: I am so sad I didn't let him do that.
Wolfman looks for the controls that can stop this ship.
Julian Sawyer: *Another sidestep.*
VG goes for a different tactic then... "Will you stop moving and just get hit?!?"
Metal Man: "Stop fighting, please."
VG runs towards... never mind. "Why should I stop? He destroyed Eisnaught! He should pay somehow!"
Metal Man (GM): The ship is currently 'stopped.' There's no orders... nothing.
Metal Man: "Let us decide that while the enemy is not watching. Perhaps... a punishment mission later. We shall have to debate that at headquarters."
Wolfman: *To Metal* "Should I just slash the compartments and then we leave?"
Julian Sawyer: "...Maybe we should steal the ship? Scour the databases?"
Metal Man: "Perhaps... steal the ship? You can try." *He motions to the controls.*
Julian Sawyer: "No thank you, not after what I've done..."
Metal Man: "Hmmm..."
Julian Sawyer: "Maybe just upload the databases to the Stadium..."
Metal Man tries to input a message to the controls.
Metal Man (GM): Suddenly... the 'control' box tears itself out of the floor... and a massive mecha appears!
Metal Man: "Gah!"
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Aribar sighs and prepares for battle! The elf takes out the Wand of Wonder. (SPD's 22)
Metal Man (GM): ...It's a HUGE mecha. Kinda papery, though. It has a big '3' emblazoned across the chest. And... an evil guy with a purple hat and horns, and dorky glasses at the controls.
Digifanatic: "Uh oh..."
Lord Crump: "Ha-ha! I have fooled you, foolish Questers! You have come here, thinking this place is the bridge!"
Julian Sawyer: "...This would be threatening if it wasn't for the pilot."
Lord Crump: "This is actually... the Quester destroying room! GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Wolfman: "...don't tell me we were supposed to go into your sewage system."
Aribar: "...Hey! I remember you... I summoned you from somewhere a while back..."
Metal Man: "...This never gets old..."
Lord Crump: "And now... just to make sure you are destroyed... I have a few friends!"
VG wonders what Wolfman is talking about.
Metal Man (GM): *SLAM* Another mecha drops from the ceiling... it looks like a huge robot master. At the controls... is Wily!
Dr. Wily: "At last! I get a chance to eliminate the meddling supporters of Megaman!"
Digifanatic: "Oh great..."
Dr. Wily: "With Destructionman, none can stop me!"
Digifanatic: .oO(At least I still have Overdrive and a few huge attacks...)
Metal Man (GM): The mecha gestures fiercely.... Then... *BAM.*
Wolfman: "DestructionMan? Isn't that name a little too long for your creations?"
Metal Man (GM): Metallix leaps through a nearby all.
Julian Sawyer: "...This is just lame..."
Lord Crump: "And... last but not least..."
Metallix: "Metallix!"
Aribar: "...Piffle."
Metal Man (GM): A metal Sonic-esque machine comes in... turns silvery..... And morphs into another gigantic mecha-sized enemy!
Metallix: "I shall crush you with my infinite strength!"
Dr. Wily: "Destructionman! Attack mode!"
Lord Crump: "Today Eisnaught... Tomorrow... MARIO!"
Metal Man (GM): They then advance on everybody simultaneously.
Metal Man: "...Gah!"
Wolfman: "If you wanted to fight Mario so bad, why didn't you just ask for a Stadium Match with him?"
Metal Man (GM): *BIG BATTLE!* Questers vs. Magnus Grapple 3.0, Metallix, and Destructionman! One second, while I get things ready.
???: *A voice comes from behind the Questers* "Are you guys the ones wrecking everything?"
Metal Man: "No. Julian is... or... wait... no. These three are!"
Digifanatic: .oO(Hmm... staff member or enemy?)
Dr. Wily: "It was they who triggered the laser, not I."
Julian Sawyer: "That's what he WANTS you to think! It was them all along!"
Wolfman: "I don't care who fired the laser at this point... you want to destroy us, so I'm not going to let you." *He gets his beam saber out.*
???: "I don't care who triggered the laser. Who is in charge of this ship?"
Julian Sawyer: "They are!"
Digifanatic: "Locos? What got you here?"
Charles Magellean drops the suitcase and aims his minigun at Digi's head.
Digifanatic: "I'm sorry... no offense, man, but..."
Metal Man: "...I'm certainly not in charge of either."
Charles Magellean: "My real name. Speak my real name."
Dr. Wily: "The."
Metallix: "Axiom."
Lord Crump: "Of Balance!"
???: *The man nodded and looked to Wily and the others.* "If this is your ship then I'm afraid you'll have to die."
Digifanatic: "And, sorry, Charles, but... why is Metal dragging you?"
Julian Sawyer: "...Why does the purple on get 2 words?"
VG: "...why does that guy get to say two words? Is he supposed to have more of an ego than you guys?"
Metallix: "Attack what you want, mortal. We shall crush you."
Dr. Wily: "Well... it was actually decided randomly."
Charles Magellean: "Illian, when you will you let go of this absurd chain-impoundment?" *He holds up his left hand with has handcuffed still to Metal's right.*
Mystery Guy turns to the Questers. "If you guys are gonna stop them, I'll help you."
Metal Man: "We need the help."
Charles Magellean puts away his handgun and goes back to holding the briefcase.
Metal Man: "I'll think about it, Charles. Perhaps there are advantages to being chained to you."
Dr. Wily: "Destructionman... attaaaaack!"
Metal Man (GM): It glows... and attacks the Mystery Man with.. ..It just gets surrounded by a giant shield, not harming anyone.
Dr. Wily: "...I said attack, not defend! Bah!"
Julian Sawyer: "... Crud."
Metal Man (GM): Metallix then turns his eyes to Julian.
Metallix: "You are the one who deceived the other machines. Now, you shall pay!"
Metal Man (GM): The gigantic monstrosity tries to pick up and grab Julian. 50% damage and stun if that hits, as he picks up and throws Julian into the ground.
Julian Sawyer: *Grabbed* "Hey! Lemme go! ACK!"
Metal Man (GM): Then... he glows up... and fires an undodgable lightning bolt at Julian... dealing 60% electric damage!
Metallix: "Kneel before my infinite power!"
Metal Man (GM): well, let's see. It's undodgable. It moves too fast. Like... instant. Magic.
Julian Sawyer: *Survives, barely.*
Metal Man (GM): Aribar fires three Star Storms at Metallix! 234 damage...
VG scans the... well, "captain" of this motley crew. voice mode.
Smash Dex: "...DING!"
Metallix
HP: 234/1000%
STR: 30
SPD: 30
INT: 30
AC: 20
Attacks: 2
Strafing Laser: Deals 20% damage to three people instantly.
Crush: d20+10, deals 50% damage, stuns target
Strafing Run: d20+10, effects all. Divides 300% damage between all who are hit.
Lightning Bolt: Instant 60% electric to one target.
Smash Dex: "End of entry."
VG decides to get souped up for battle then... sorry guys, but this Toad needs preparation.

Digifanatic: "Well... good start..."
VG deploys a Guardian Acorn and Super Plush Bear for himself.
Charles Magellean: "Predictable battle pattern as always."
Metal Man (GM): ! Metal will move for Charles if he needs to get in close.
Charles Magellean: "One question for you three. You plan on obstructing my path to speak with Kuja Tribal despite my non-involvement with these lunatics?"
Lord Crump: "Let you talk to Kuja? Are you nuts? He hates visitors!"
Dr. Wily: "You are my old adversary... and you threatened me with that letter! I'll get you!"
Metallix: "I do not help the likes of you."
Charles Magellean: "Let's see... you spoke out of line first." *He fires 18 trigger happy bullets from his right hand minigun, after throwing the briefcase into the air so it spins, then grabs the briefcase when it lowers in altitude.*
Lord Crump: "You cannot stop us, little man. Tremble before our mighty mechaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): All of those hit. the huge and slow mecha cannot escape; if it's for Crump, as I assumed. Okay... 328 damage.
Lord Crump: "...You... you damaged my beautiful machine... you will PAY!!!!!."
Wolfman notes that Digi isn't doing so hot...
Metallix: "Do not taunt the enemy, Crump. Destroy them instead."
Dr. Wily: "What? No! Taunt them until they die from aggravation!"
Metallix: "You are foolish."
Wolfman: .oO(Hmm... I still have that... perhaps it's time I use it.)
Julian Sawyer: *Stunned.*
Charles Magellean: "If I wasn't chained here to my will, I wouldn't even be in your way."
Dr. Wily: "You're just a machine. What can you know?"
Digifanatic looks at the robots..."Time for some real fun here..." He uses a Quake Smash Overdrive Fire Punch.
Metal Man (GM): All hit.
Charles Magellean: "Dr. Wily, I sent you that letter because I needed to know if you and the others wanted to live a different lifestyle. Seems you won't tolerate it."
Metal Man (GM): Even the extremely fast Metallix takes a hit.
Digifanatic tries nabbing some coins... he steals from Crump.
Wolfman: .oO(...Mega Rushed? Yep; I better)
Metal Man (GM): Wily's machine remains unharmed during all of this.
Dr. Wily: "...Brilliant! My machine predicted a terrible onslaught, and protected itself! Wahahahahahahahaha!"
Digifanatic: "You lucky soul..."
Lord Crump: "Gah! Stop this immediately, child!"
Mystery Guy laughs. "Let me give you some advice, guys. Never take mecha up against an artificer." *He uses an EMP blast against the three.*
Wolfman: "Umm... are you SURE about that?" *He braces himself just in case this mystery guy's plan backfires.*
Metal Man (GM): The blast hits Metallix and the entire room. Metallix is shut down immediately.
Digifanatic: "Whoa!"
Metal Man (GM): Crump's ship, being partially hydraulic and everything, remains up at 50% efficiency ..And Wily's dang shield blocks it... however... That attack damaged the ship too!
Lord Crump: "Fool! You've dama... whaaaat? The ship is damaged? NO!!!!!"
Dr. Wily: "My shield shall protect me from everything!"
Charles Magellean: "Not unless you want to die within it."
Wolfman attempts one action before shutting down... giving Digi his one Red Essence. (SPD check it? Technically I'm tied in SPD with Mystery Man)
Dr. Wily: "...I cannot die. I am Wily!"
Metal Man (GM): SPD check, Wolfman. You can do it, Wolf. You get 1 action, which is what you did.
Charles Magellean: "Besides, can you really say that you'd be happy living on an empty moon of only several residents and many robots with fiends constantly attacking us?"
Wolfman: *Digi is Red Essenced: Wolfman is disabled for a few rounds due to EMP wave.*
Charles Magellean: "In a non-dominating thinking society?"
Dr. Wily: "That is my vision for a utopia! ...But all the people who disagreed with me would be killed first, according to protocol."
VG sees Wolfman drop to the ground... he really must not EMP waves.
Charles Magellean: "I turned you down because I thought you wouldn't be happy living on a dormant world."
Metal Man (GM): Mystery Man: You may take your second action, if you aren't writing it up right now.
Mystery Guy presses a few buttons on the same wrist-mounted device that activated the EMP. this time three missiles pop out and fire at Crump's mecha.
Metal Man (GM): *BAM BAM BAM.*
Digifanatic: "Thanks Wolf..."
Wolfman: *Can't respond: down for... unsure how many rounds.*
Metal Man (GM): 51 damage.
Lord Crump: "Gah!"
Metal Man (GM): My turn!
Metal Man: "Hmmm... I think I'll make things better for everybody. Hyaaaaaaaaah!" *He runs over to Metallix, and slashes at the disabled robot twice.*
Charles Magellean: "Can you honestly say you would live on my world, live a peaceful life, not think about global ruling, and actually... help people?"
Metal Man (GM): Two hits, since he can't avoid. 40% ice damage... aaaand...
Dr. Wily: "Well, Kuja beat you to the punch. So he'll do it here... where I want to be!"
Metal Man: "And to stop us from getting beaten up by this freak in a mecha... CRYSTAL PURIFICATION!"
Aribar: "Oh, Wily, where did you send your Klumsy Koopa kl--err... Clone?"
Metal Man: "Errrr... Container."
Metal Man (GM): *FREEZE* Crump's half-broken Mecha is frozen solid.
Charles Magellean: "Unlike here, my homeland is already barren and empty. And Kuja is not, how does one say..."
Metal Man (GM): End of round; Magnus cannot attack, nor can Wolfman. *1 Round of EMP has passed* Metallix misses his turn, trying to reboot.
Charles Magellean: "...well... does not even think like you do."
Metal Man (GM): Destructionman wastes his turn deactivating the highly power-eating shield.
Aribar hrms, looking at Locos... "You know, I just realized something... You stole that one-up shroom, huh, Forsaker of Nintendus?"
Charles Magellean: "Never mind, I cannot persuade you to live with me. Forgive for digressing." *He turns to Aribar.*
Metal Man: "We've got three bigger problems now, Ari. I have Charles in custody."
Charles Magellean: "I was helping someone that you people wouldn't bother to do."
Metal Man: "I don't doubt you, Charles. But we have to save this for when enemies are not blowing up Eisnaught."
Aribar: "Fine... Blindness!" *He casts Blindness on Locos, making him Blind until the end of battle, and then fires two Electric Elemental Blasts at Wily's mech. 70% Electric times two.*
Metal Man: "...I'll fix that, Charles. Don't worry."
Julian Sawyer: "Time for some real fun here..." *He uses a Quake Smash Overdrive Fire Punch.*
Charles Magellean: "..."
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Charles Magellean: *SNAP.*
Dr. Wily: "Aribar! Don't attack me. Attack Locos!"
Charles Magellean: "CHARLES MAGELLEAN!"
VG: "Wily, just shut up." *Throws an Ice Block at him.*
Lord Crump: "so... coollld...."
Charles Magellean fires off a random bullet.
Metal Man (GM): *KA-BONK* Ice cube hits Wily.
VG: *15% ice... KA-FROZEN* "Thank you."
Aribar hrms, and wonders if he should roll an INT check to resist Wily's suggestion... Oocly he wonders this, I mean.
Dr. Wily: "Gah!" *Freeze.*
Metal Man: "...Despite the ongoing arguments, we seem to be beating those guys to bits."
VG then sets up his Toad Shield by Wolfman so he can have some protection this round. consider me done.
Charles Magellean: "Besides, Bob was the one that suggested we scram. You know I would've bargained for the mushroom with that strange man in the museum, Hunter."
Aribar: "I highly doubt that Sha'Fol would have given you his possessions!"
Mystery Guy: "Eh... sorry for EMPing your friend. I didn't realize he was... you know..."
Metal Man: "Just don't shoot me, Charles. I'm impartial, and on the side of good."
Mystery Guy: "A machine."
VG: "Technically, he's more than a machine... but the core parts can't be ignored."
Metal Man: "Well, Mystery guy, it's also a good thing I wasn't wearing my suit. Otherwise I'd be on the floor too. Or on fire..."
Mystery Guy: "Sorry. But you guys should really tell me these things."
Metal Man (GM): Julian can also act... simultaneously, if he wishes.
Metal Man: "Oh well. You'll find out once we're off this God-forsaken ship."
Charles Magellean fires off 6 bullets at machiney Crump.
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit miss miss hit hit.
Lord Crump: "Gah! ...Offensive systems still not responding! Dash it all!"
Julian Sawyer: *Uses the turns when he's down on no to-hit mods to use the first Piece of Power and X Accuracy he picked up before the mission.*
Aribar: "Tell me, Charley... Just who did you use that mushroom on?"
Charles Magellean then fires at Crump while speaking to Ari.
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit hit miss hit.
Lord Crump: "I should have implemented better servos!"
Charles Magellean: "I had revived Ricky. His ghost came to on moon and said it would help meet with the Lord."
Aribar: "You WHAT?!"
Metal Man (GM): 9 hits total, so far.
Aribar: "You revived that TRAITOR?"
Charles Magellean: "Coincidentally, a one up mushroom would've also revived Klumsy."
Aribar: "If he didn't interfere Valhalla might have been saved!"
Metal Man: "Well, the problem is, Klumsy's shell is--"
Charles Magellean: "No, it was my fault."
Dr. Wily: "Brrrr..."
Metal Man (GM): Damage, Charles?
VG felt good freezing Wily solid.
Aribar turns his full attention to Locos now. "... You're going down, you traitorous Bleep!"
Charles Magellean: "Lynk had pestered me until I said something folly about giving him Valhalla if he could take over."
Julian Sawyer: *Uses the turns when he's down on no to-hit mods to use the first Piece of Power and X Accuracy he picked up before the mission.*
Charles Magellean: "Again, I apologize."
Digifanatic uses another of those Fire Punches on Crump.
Metal Man (GM): *KA-SMACK!*
Aribar: "Oh, and you think that makes things better? Just saying two words?!"
VG: "Umm... he said three." *He chuckles.*
Digifanatic follows up one to Metallix.
Metal Man (GM): *KA-SMACK!*
Aribar: "...Whatever! I won't let him continue being a turncoat! I'll kill him even if it means all of you attacking me!"
Digifanatic's turn ends.
Charles Magellean: "I had tried to patch up my own follies, but it just became worse. That is another reason why I left this world."
Metal Man (GM): Crump's mecha is reeling... almost dead.
Lord Crump: "Worthless controls... stop saying 'Critical Failure' and get off at least one attack!"
Charles Magellean: "Each time I tried to help, I just made conditions even more bad."
Mystery Guy: "Good bye." *He fires three pulse lasers from his device at Crump's mecha.*
Charles Magellean: "Oh and don't bother trying to come back to my world, Hunter. I've made sure no one can just waltz to where I live anymore."
Metal Man: "Perhaps I can help you, Charles."
Aribar: "I said it before and I'll say it again..."
Charles Magellean: "Yes, you can help by LETTING ME SEE, please!"
Aribar: "I hope your world and your base is overrun by all of the monsters it holds!"
Metal Man (GM): Hit... ouch... ouch... Damage for the single hit?
Charles Magellean: "And you... elf..."
Lord Crump: "Gahahahahahahaha!"
Charles Magellean: "Are no better than the thieves you despise on your own planet!"
Lord Crump: "It's revenge time!"
Aribar: "!!! By King Erwin I shall make sure your death is painful!"
Metal Man (GM): The chest of the mecha opens up... and a targeting cursor goes on Mystery Man. Both his arms launch off his hands...
Charles Magellean: "And I will make sure YOU will end your constant berating of my life!"
Metal Man (GM): Then they both rocket punch Mystery Guy, for a total of 40 damage. You may now continue your turn, Mystery Guy.
Mystery Guy is knocked to the ground. "Argh... that... hurt..."
Metal Man: "Don't worry, Locos. I'll fix this problem... once somebody kills those two idiots in machines, and gets rid of that third machine to boot!"
Charles Magellean: "Charles, Illian. Or do you want me to keep calling you something you aren't?"
Metal Man: "Oh... right. Sorry. Old names die hard."
Mystery Guy: "Let's see if that piece of crap you call a mecha can handle a little overtime, shall we?" *He pressed more buttons, activating the Overclock feature, targeting Crump's mecha.*
Charles Magellean: "Thank you."
Lord Crump: "Your inferior... magic thing... fixed my mecha! Wahahaha!"
Metal Man (GM): The mecha shoots sparks.
Lord Crump: "What? Noooooo!"
Metal Man (GM): The mecha falls backwards... through the window.
Lord Crump: "I'll get you for thissssss!!!!" *Falls out of sight.*
Mystery Guy adjusts his glasses, with a smug look on his face. "Booyah."
Metal Man (GM): My turn!
Charles Magellean: "...I'm thinking by the way he fell out, about 20 shards of glass are nearby."
Metal Man: "I'll fix your eyes, Charles. Crystal Purification!"
Metal Man (GM): Charles regains 20 HP and loses his blindness.
Charles Magellean eyes begin to slowly see light. *Boink!*

Wolfman slowly awakens... "Gah... what hit me?"
Metallix: "...You used an EMP bomb on me... very clever... but you shall not survive the onslaught from which you inspired."
Mystery Guy blinks. "What?"
Metal Man (GM): The towering machine lifts both its arms up... and instantly zaps Mystery Guy twice, for a total of 120% electric damage.
Wolfman: "EMPs again? I'll never get a break..."
Metal Man (GM): Mystery Guy: STR check.
Charles Magellean: "Wily, Wily, Wily. If you changed your mind a little earlier, this wouldn't be happening. Just remember that when you are sick of being hear, I'll be waiting for you to come live in harmony and peace of mind."
Metal Man (GM): Hmmm... not enough. you lose one life from the lightning bolt assault. You're more than 16 damage above your threshold. You'll reappear on your turn, minus one action.
Aribar: "You'd harbor some criminal on your little ball of dirt?!"
Mystery Guy cries out and drops to the ground, unconscious.
Dr. Wily: "We're still here... let's see... take this, Wolfman!"
Metal Man (GM): STR check, Wolfman.
Wolfman: "...wha?"
Charles Magellean: "They would no longer bother you, and they would slowly learn a new way of life. What it is wrong with that idea?"
Metal Man (GM): True to its name... the machine walks up to Wolfman.... Wolfman is hit by three tons of explosives, lasers, missiles, punches, and the like. 300% damage!
VG: "My hat!!!"
Dr. Wily: "I can destroy people instantly. Why do I need peace, when I can rule everything!"
Wolfman: *BOOM Boom boom boom boom...*
Metal Man: "We're almost done. We just need to take down the last of these annoyances."
Aribar dashes towards Locos, crying out in rage. The elf then fires an Electric Elemental Blast (70% Electric) at the traitor followed by a Magic Missile (24%), and then a Star Storm from his Wand of Wonder. "Die, foul creature!"
Metal Man leaps in front of the damage. "Argh! I shall not let this pass!"
Charles Magellean is dropped onto the floor.
Metal Man: "You both are wrong!"
Aribar: "Metal... Step out of the way!"
Metal Man: "No. As commander of the Questers, I have taken my stand. Charles has been granted Parlay. No harm can come to him until he has been able to speak with me at our headquarters. Furthermore, I feel a far better idea in mind. If we reimbursed the people who were harmed, and settled the differences... the united force of the Questers and Charles's own abilities would be just enough to tip the balance against Kuja!"
Charles Magellean gets up.
Julian Sawyer: "And then cake."
Metal Man: "If you must defeat him, let it be done in the arena, and as a friendly battle."
VG takes an action to recover his... well, destructed hat. status: DAMAGED, needs repaired.
Metal Man: "Otherwise... I shall have no choice but to deal with you in the same matter as those treacherous machine people."
VG: *repairing.*
Metal Man: "Now. Attack them, or do nothing! This is my responsibility, and I will not allow vigilante-style justice in my organization."
Charles Magellean stands with his back to Metal's back and whispers...
Aribar glares up at Metal... How dare he stand between him and Locos?! He must know that chances are Locos will turn yet again! ... (My turn is over.)
VG uses his second action to use his last Ice Block on Destruction Man.
Metal Man (GM): *Ka-Smack!*
VG: *15% ice and... KA-FROZEN.*
Dr. Wily: "Not again!"
VG: "Charles, thanks for making these."
Charles Magellean: "You know that logic can no longer reach him, Illian. His heart is only filled with rage, and his mind is closed to alternative thinking."
Metal Man: "But I must understand this irrationality. One who ignores this will ultimately be crushed by the irrational villains we face."
VG decides to charge up his DeathZooka for his last action... if he doesn't get hit, it will have charged up one whole level.
Metal Man: "You can deal more damage than I. I shall stop Aribar from hurting you. Destroy the mecha, please."
VG: "The non-frozen one if you don't mind."
Aribar is still glaring at Metal, and sometimes steals a glance at Charles as well. The elf tries to weigh the scale... Is it worth chancing a battle with Metal just to show that... That thing a lesson?
Metal Man: "This is to be dealt with in a professional fashion. You might know."
Charles Magellean: "You can try all you want. He will not listen to me, you, or even his own rational side."
Metal Man: "Then I shall have to try his own thinking and use it to convince him."
Charles Magellean: "He will not respect my culture's differences and how I act. Very well." *He looks to Metallix.*
Metallix: "Your own squabbling will destroy you, and I will not even need to touch you."
Aribar: "That man has insulted me and has harmed this organization with his military and by helping enemies. Why does he deserve life?"
Charles Magellean: "You will be quiet, machine."
Metallix: "This is why efficient machines, like me and Grodus, must participate in regulating the people."
Charles Magellean: "You are still not forgiven for trespassing on sacred ground."
Metallix: "I do not understand this... religion... It is irrational and illogical. All ground is the same to me, unless it is controlled by the enemy."
Charles Magellean tosses his briefcase into the air, fires 18 shots, then catches the briefcase.
Metal Man: "You have insulted me by ignoring my own authority, where it is my place to decide such things."
Metal Man (GM): Miss hit hit miss hit crit miss hit miss hit miss miss hit miss hit miss miss hit. 9 hits, 1 of which is a crit.
Metal Man: "I have learned much from today. Unity is highly important. It is our lack of such which destroyed Eisnaught. Thus... it is all of our faults. The people who do not think rationally and those who think like machines are alike in their mindless destruction."
Aribar stays silent, but his mind races with thoughts... Has he gone too far? Maybe this fight isn't worth it... What if Metal kicks him out? He can't return home if he is not allowed in the stadium... Are Metal's words true? ... Doubt and a loss of confidence fills the elf about this issue.
Charles Magellean: "As Metal said... With the exception of a paradox, irrationality and illogical thoughts are those that do not open their capacitors to new ways of processing."
Julian Sawyer: *Free from all negatives and boosted by Power and Accuracy, Julian lays into Metallix with a Face Wash, then follows up with a Beatbox.*

Metallix: "You do know, that you cannot destroy my face."
Metal Man (GM): His smashed face reforms, looking brand new. Though he still took damage. Hit miss hit.
Julian Sawyer: *Luckies that 1*
Metal Man (GM): Three hit, now. Thanks to the lucky. Metallix, also, is almost dead.
Julian Sawyer: "That felt good..."
Mystery Guy rises slowly to his feet. "My head hurts... Uh... what was I doing again... oh, right."
Julian Sawyer: "You'll get used to it."
Dr. Wily: "My machine ranks superior!"
VG: "Your machine is frozen right now!"
Charles Magellean: "VG, be quiet. Do not agitate the insane."
Dr. Wily: "...But still. My shield cannot be broken, when I turn it on. It's marvelous!"
Metal Man (GM): Mystery Guy: Quick reminder, you have one action this turn.
Julian Sawyer: "And that's why we'll kill you before you can put it up."
Mystery Guy points his weapon at Metallix and fires.
Charles Magellean: "Killing is not a way of the Quester."
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit, and hit. Total: 18 damage. My turn!
Metal Man glows, casting Crystal Purification on himself, regaining 20 HP. He then attacks Metallix with two axe slices.
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit... 40% damage.
Charles Magellean is dragged along.
Metallix: "I do not plan on dying from this battle."
Metal Man (GM): He melts into silver and disappears.
Dr. Wily: "Brrrr... C-c-c-coward!"
Charles Magellean: "Wily, open your mind."
VG did that at DESTRUCTION man, not Wily!
Wolfman does the MMX intro back into the battle field for action 1. He then uses 100 more rings for action 2...+1 life. He then goes all swords dancy with the ice... with any luck, he can actually dismantle the robot this way or something.
Metal Man (GM): Hit miss hit hit hit hit hit.
Wolfman: *Done.*
Metal Man (GM): New round! The frozen guy breaks out, wasting yet another round.
Aribar is torn on what he should do... The elf tries to quickly think things out.
Charles Magellean: "Stop this at once. We all know the outcome of this battle. Abandon this world and what you desire from it, Wily. Kuja may offer you something, but I can do the exact same thing right now, and can actually give it to you."
Aribar doesn't know whether he should attack Locos, the enemies, or what... The elf skips his turn, troubled by his black-and-white perception of the world crumbling by Locos's and Metal's statements.
Dr. Wily: "You can never catch me... and... stuff!"
Charles Magellean: "Wily..."
Dr. Wily: "Do you really think I plan on defeating you?"
VG didn't get hit... he continues charging up the DeathZooka. He can get it to the max level and fire it this round... which he does.
Charles Magellean: "...Do you wish to live?"
VG: "Eat carousel!" .oO(Why did I say that?)
Dr. Wily: "No one, not even Mega-...Ahhhh! Carousel!"
Charles Magellean puts in two bullets... special ones.
Metal Man (GM): No need;I'm gonna give yah that lucky back. You hit with the 19.
Charles Magellean drops the briefcase and aims at where Wily is sitting.
Dr. Wily: "Even as a carousel attacks me, I shall not lose... and I shall never die!"
Metal Man (GM): 142 damage it is.
VG: *Done.*
Charles Magellean: *Short battle cinemaesque thing.*
Dr. Wily: "I am the unstoppable Wily! Your weak gun cannot pierce my dome made of styro--I mean... invincible super glass!"
Mystery Guy: "Shut up, you over-actor."
Charles Magellean fires a golden bullet at the cockpit. It sears into Destructionman's metal plating protecting the window Wily is in. The bullet hits the chair inside, almost hitting the white coat of his. "I missed."
Wolfman: "...did you?"
Charles Magellean: "...on purpose."
Wolfman wondered if that bullet was for something else... guess not.
Charles Magellean aims the gun direction very slightly moving it.
Dr. Wily: "Fire again. I am unstoppable!"
Charles Magellean: "Wily, I am not a Quester."
Dr. Wily: "Your pathetic device fails to scare me."
Charles Magellean: "You will shut up and listen."
Dr. Wily: "Shoot me, dang it!"
Charles Magellean: "You ally with a person that will promise you nothing, and the door of your future will close."
Dr. Wily: "I mean... I am the unstoppable Wily! Yes... unbeatable..."
Charles Magellean: "Become different from your ailing lifestyle, and I will put this down."
Dr. Wily: "I have survived three years of constant war. Even you cannot harm me."
Charles Magellean: "I cannot. My warping shell can."

Mystery Guy: "He won't listen to you. Just shoot already."

Mystery Guy: "He's asking to die... Either he's stupid..."
Wolfman: "...give him his request."
Mystery Guy: "Or it's a trick."
Charles Magellean aims the gun at Mystery man. Say another word, and you will be on the receiving end."
Metal Man points his axe at the back of Charles's neck.
Mystery Guy raises his hands.
Metal Man: "Shoot Wily or I'll be throwing your HEAD at him!"
Mystery Guy: "Calm down. I'm trying to tell you I think it's a trick."
Metal Man: "And Aribar's too, if he tries the same thing."
Wolfman readies his Howl buster just in case anyone needs backup.
Mystery Guy: "Why would he WANT you to kill him?"
Metal Man: "...Or shoot his mecha. Just do something productive. This is why I chained you to me. So that neither Aribar nor you could get out of hand."
Charles Magellean: "You are right."
Mystery Guy: "Which of us?"
Charles Magellean shoots at Wily with his gun raising at the same time... it does not kill him, only piercing the shield again and chunking off the only hair that is on Wily's bald head.
Dr. Wily: "...My hair! Noooooooo!!!!! I'll get you for this, hair-stealing Magellean!"
Charles Magellean: "Wake up."
Metal Man: "...That works." *He lowers his axe.*
Charles Magellean: "Wily, when you're ready to admit that you've done nothing with your life up to this point, then come see me."
Mystery Guy lowers his arms.
Dr. Wily: "I have done much... you just haven't seen it yet."
Charles Magellean: "Until then, remember who keep on defeating you."
Metal Man (GM): Wily laughs.
Mystery Guy: "Well, nice to see you're not going to kill me at least."
Wolfman: *To Mystery Guy* "Don't push it."
Charles Magellean: "And remember the blue robot that tortures you over and over... at least he isn't there on my world."
Wolfman: "He's... not exactly the most sane member of this group."
Charles Magellean picks up the briefcase.
Metal Man: "If I wasn't insane now, that mystery man, Charles, Julian, AND Aribar would be dead. Think about that. ...Possibly Wily, but with the way he wants to be killed, I half-wonder if he has a plan..."
Mystery Guy: "I'm completely lost. Anyway, I didn't mean any disrespect with what I said. Just that I got the same impression. He wanted you to shoot him. It must've been a trick."
Julian Sawyer: *Attacks Destruction Man with what should be very ineffective attacks against a robot, but they apparently aren't. Julian attacks with a Breakdown, then a Beatbox.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit miss miss.
Dr. Wily: "Gah! My machine... my hair... all of it damaged! I will destroy you all for this!"
Mystery Guy: "It's time to end this I think."
Wolfman: "I agree."
VG nods.
Mystery Guy presses some buttons on his device, activating Overclock against Destruction Man.
Metal Man (GM): It's the magic weapon.
Dr. Wily: "Wha... wha... WHA?"
Metal Man (GM): *EXPLODE* The machine tips over. Wily falls onto the ground.... His head bounces off on a spring!
Wolfman: "..."
Metal Man: "...That was obviously not the real Wily."
Aribar: "..."
Mystery Guy: "I totally saw that coming." -_-
Wolfman: "I think I've had enough of this place. Can we trash it and get on out of here?"
Mystery Guy: "Sounds good to me."
Metal Man (GM): Then... in a glimpse of an eye, you see the REAL Wily start running up a central staircase... one that just turned visible. He's out of range for attacking, and disappears up it.
Julian Sawyer: *Heads after him.*
Metal Man: "...But why did he run up there?" *Follows Julian* "And Charles needs an audience with Kuja."
Julian Sawyer: "I dunno, escape pod?"
Charles Magellean is jerked for he has no choice.
Mystery Guy: "Well, I guess I should follow them." *He follows the others up the staircase.*
Metal Man goes up the stairs.
Wolfman and VG follow.
VG still has his Bear with him... but the Guardian Acorn power is gone.
Metal Man (GM): The stairs lead up... and up... to another, tiny room. A door marked 'Secret Entrance' is there, in red. It was just shut, seeing how it's still vibrating. Everybody gained 800 EXP from that fight.
Mystery Guy: "Now what?"
Aribar follows the others, but keeps a good five or so feet away from everyone.
Metal Man: "We open that secret door." *He tries to open it... stuck.* "It won't open."
Charles Magellean: "..."
Wolfman has gained a level! *Opens the Book of Complete Randomness.*
Mystery Guy has gained a level!
Charles Magellean: "Aribar, use your magic."
Metal Man (GM): You use a point on the book, Wolf? *Glow* *Glow* Wolfman obtains... *Fanfare* Superior Jumping skills!
Aribar: "...I ... I don't know..."

Aribar looks up... "You, new guy... You cast spells?"
Mystery Guy: "Not really. I'm an artificer. I'm just really good with machines."
Metal Man: "...We need something like this to play tennis with."
Mystery Guy: "Unfortunately, I don't have anything to open the door."
VG sees the door as a barrier... he throws a Debarrier Cube at it.
Metal Man (GM): *BAM* *CRACKLE* The door fizzles and opens.
Aribar: "Ah... So you have no use for Green Potions and the likes?"
VG: "That will work." *He and the Wolf charge in.*
Metal Man (GM): Inside... is a huge room. Paintings of several familiar people are on the walls.
Mystery Guy: "Well... my bracer's mechanical abilities operate by drawing from my own MP like a power source."
Metal Man (GM): Bowser... Smithy... Grodus...
Mystery Guy: "So yeah, MP boosters do help me."
Metal Man (GM): Zio... Kuja... Wily... Dracula... Robotnik...
Wolfman: "...where are we? Some hall of famous enemies?"
VG wonders where Ganondorf is.

Metal Man (GM): He opens up a control panel in his desk.
Kuja Tribal: "Watch..."
Metal Man (GM): He presses a button. Eisnaught is suddenly starting to be hit by rainbow waves.
Mystery Guy: "What are you doing!"
Kuja Tribal: "See... as the Solarian device destroys this city!"
Mystery Guy points his weapon at Kuja.
VG: "Stop the attack this instant!"
Mystery Guy: "Stop it now!"

Metal Man (GM): The beams become more concentrated... as Kuja increases them with unknown commands.
Kuja Tribal: "That is accurate, true; but the suffering I impart is, in a way, worse than death."
VG rushes to this bum, bad hat or no bad hat. He goes for a Kung Fu Kick at the groin... it's highly accurate, so it should hit.
Metal Man (GM): Well... you hit, yes. But... you appear to have done no damage to him.
VG somersaults back to the group...
Kuja Tribal: "The attacks of the weak cannot damage my facial features."
Mystery Guy: "Let me take him out!"
Charles Magellean: "..."
VG: "If you think you can, do it, but be careful."
Mystery Guy fires a taser at Kuja.
Kuja Tribal: "As of this moment... I make myself imperial ruler of Nintopia."
Metal Man (GM): You hit him... he seems almost unscathed.
Kuja Tribal: "I cannot be defeated by normal weapons. You, however, can."
Mystery Guy: "How! You should be twitching in pain, now!"
Metal Man (GM): Kuja waves his arm. Everyone is thrown back by an invisible force, onto the ground.
Aribar tries to think... He tries to think of something that Kuja utterly despises...
Kuja Tribal: "I am not mortal, fool."
Wolfman and VG get knocked back... ouch...
Aribar: "Gah!" *He's interrupted by the assault.*
Mystery Guy is knocked back.
Charles Magellean gets up, shaking his head.
Mystery Guy: "Ennggh..."
VG rebounds back up.
Metal Man (GM): In the background, Eisnaught is torn apart by the ferocious Magitek lasers.
Mystery Guy stands up and fixes his glasses.
VG: "Kuja, don't you have any sort of heart?"
Mystery Guy: "I... I..."
Kuja Tribal: "Yes. Ironically, you don't."
VG: "Explain that."
Charles Magellean: "Enough, Questers. I don't have time for your games with this individual."
Wolfman attempts to find some way to disable the lasers while VG and Kuja banter.
Kuja Tribal: "I am destroying those people down there... to save them from themselves."
Charles Magellean steps forward a few steps.
Metal Man (GM): The control panel is right in front of Kuja.
Mystery Guy downs a royal syrup to restore his MP.
Kuja Tribal: "To prevent them from suffering."
VG: "But why kill them? Can't they learn?"
Kuja Tribal: "No."
Metal Man follows Magellean, of course.
Wolfman attempts to fire a sneaky howl buster shot at the control panel while the banter continues.
Aribar: "You're killing them... Taking their lives away. You are a monster. Even though there is suffering in the world, there is much more good!"
VG: "I'm sure they can learn eventually."
Kuja Tribal: "I shall change all of that. This shall be my world."
VG: "They don't need some megalomaniac to change the course of nature."
Kuja Tribal: "And in my world, there will be no suffering... no good..."
Metal Man (GM): You shoot the control panel. It explodes.
Aribar: "...Grey blandness?"
Kuja Tribal: "Thank you, Wolfman. Now I cannot shut off the lasers until that ground is... sterilized."
Wolfman: "...huh? Shouldn't that STOP the..."
Metal Man (GM): The lasers have now destroyed all the buildings... but now, it's burning the ground itself.
Charles Magellean looks to his former comrades.
Mystery Guy goes to activate his EMP right before remembering it effects Wolfman too. "Uhh..."
Wolfman: "Do it."
Kuja Tribal: "Do not toy with me. For I will toy with you in a way far greater, in response."
Aribar: "Kuja, why don't you just mess with your own world?"
Charles Magellean: "Why do you people insist on futile notions with someone as determined as Kuja?"
Wolfman: *To Mystery Guy* "Fire it now!"
Kuja Tribal: "I destroyed my own world, Aribar."
Mystery Guy nods and fires the EMP.
Kuja Tribal: "I moved all that is my world here."
Wolfman goes limp... again.
Metal Man (GM): The EMP goes off... the lasers turn off for a second... then go back on!
Kuja Tribal: "Fool. Magitek is immune."
Metal Man: "..."
Charles Magellean: "Enough of this malarkey. Kuja, I wish to speak you."
Mystery Guy: "Engh... sorry, Wolfman. I guess that was for nothing..."
Kuja Tribal: "Tell me your thoughts, before I demolish these others."
Charles Magellean looks to the people behind him... then to Metal, to back to Kuja.
VG attempts to go to a hidden/far corner to call for backup... or help... or SOMETHING!
Metal Man (GM): VG: You notice an interesting frequency on your Dex... you could call it.
VG sees something on the dex... he attempts to respond to it.
Charles Magellean: "Let the three of us speak someplace where the Questers won't annoy us with their whining."
Metal Man (GM): You press it... no response... except....
Aribar sighs... Something deep in the elf tells him he should fight this menace, but the voice is drowned by his own childish troubles.
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* A mysterious man appears out of VG's dex.
VG: "AAH!!!!"
???: "Enough of this nonsense."
Metal Man (GM): ??? brazenly blasts Metal And Charles down with a black wave, paralyzing them.
Metal Man: "Argh!"
Aribar looks up at this new man... "... Sha'Fol?"
Kuja Tribal: "Who dares interrupt my own victims?"
Sha'Fol: "It is I... the one you most detest!"
Charles Magellean goes down... twitching.

Charles Magellean: "The pseudo-cube bazooka! I will not leave without it!"
Metal Man (GM): Sha'Fol is blasted back... horribly wounded... but he limps up.
Aribar tries to shield his eyes from the light with his one arm.
Sha'Fol: "Thank you for reminding me, Charles."
Kuja Tribal: "...You fool! You told him!"
Aribar: "...Mirror!" *The elf casts the protective spell on Sha'Fol.*
Charles Magellean: "You destroyed the Triforce, so I want back what I traded to you!"
Wolfman: "...care to explain why you are working with us instead of twisting our souls Sha'Fol?" *A little impatient and irritated.*
Metal Man (GM): Sha'Fol smashes the desk to the side. The mirror protects Sha'Fol from the flare attack... He takes the Bazooka... points it at... not Kuja... but the Solarian machine.
Sha'Fol: "FOR NINTENDUS!"
Metal Man (GM): He fires.....
Charles Magellean struggles and strugles... he gets up sllloowwwly.
Julian Sawyer: *Starts heading for the door.*
Metal Man (GM): The explosion, and resulting mess appears almost as a dream. The Solarian Genocide machine is obliterated, and the after-effects blast Kuja back... and incinerate Sha'Fol. The pseudo-cube Bazooka lands in Charles's hands.
Wolfman: .oO(...I never got my answer...)
Charles Magellean gets up, breathing heavily. he grabs the thing.
Wolfman breathes slowly...
Metal Man (GM): The entire ship is rocked... and the incoming forces force the remaining Axiom of Balance forces to hide in the city ruins.
Charles Magellean opens the briefcase and puts the pseudo cube bazooka into his briefcase, then closes it.
Aribar looks about... He tries to see how the others in this council of villains have fared.
Metal Man (GM): It eventually ends. You're now at the controls of a crippled ship. Aribar: All of them seem gone.
VG recorded all of that on his Dex.
Charles Magellean: "I... have... gotten... what I desired."
Julian Sawyer: "...Who can fly?"
Wolfman: "You mean the ship?"
Aribar: "It couldn't have been that easy..."
Metal Man: "...Well... he appears to have sacrificed himself to eliminate the machine. Easy? We lost the creator of Nintendus!"
Editor's Note: Actually it was rather easy, because Sha'fol being 'creator of Nintendus' isn't canon no more.
Wolfman: "...I never did find out why Sha'Fol turned me into what I am today."
Charles Magellean: "We can use a 1-up mushroom."
Wolfman: "...in some twisted way, I almost wanted to thank him."
Metal Man: "It was because of him, that we apparently are almost safe... who can operate this ship?"
Charles Magellean: "Yet for now..."
Wolfman "carries Sha'Fol's body with him."
Mystery Guy: "Sorry. I'm an expert on robots. Not spaceships."
Wolfman: "I can fly this probably."
Charles Magellean presses one of the buttons on his briefcase to transform it into the rocket chair.
Wolfman: "But my hands are a little... well, full."
Julian Sawyer: "I'll take him."
Wolfman gives the body of Sha'Fol to Julian.
Charles Magellean: "I've done my part to help, so I wanna leave this ship before I create a mess somehow."
Metal Man: "Ah, yes. 1-up mushrooms... that reminds me. We shall check that up later."
Wolfman: "Aribar, please assist me here... let's get back to HQ."
Metal Man is still chained to Charles."
Wolfman also has 300 more rings if need be. He goes to the controls and attempts to fly us back to base.
Metal Man: "If you wish to use the chair, you should take all of us off this broken, falling ship."
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman: INT check... +5
Charles Magellean clicks on the rocket chair so it expands to a four seater and a pilot.
Metal Man (GM): Due to your knowledge of ships.
Aribar wordlessly walks towards Wolfman... After all of this he wants to just collapse somewhere.
Julian Sawyer: *Takes a seat, if one remains.*
Charles Magellean: "I can only fit four more people."
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman fixes the ship. It's heading towards HQ.
Metal Man: "Good job. We can examine the ruins, while those fighters try to destroy the rest of them."
Wolfman: .oO(Perhaps I don't need a new intelligence chip after all...) "Ari, we have enough power to make it, right?" *He can't see ALL of the stats at once.*
Charles Magellean sits in the newly designed captains chair. he's set the mode so two people can sit in the front.
Aribar: "No idea..."
Metal Man: "I'll take the chair with Charles."
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: INT check to check power levels.
Charles Magellean: "We have me, Julian, Metal."
Metal Man (GM): ...Or not. Whoever wants to.
Wolfman: "Fine... I'll check." *He hopes he didn't take his eyes off of the skies too long.*
Metal Man (GM): You do so expertly.
Charles Magellean: "VG, want to come in?"
Julian Sawyer: "...I'll take the chair."
Metal Man (GM): The power levels are stuck at 100%; there's enough to get there, but it will keep on going after it crashes.
Metal Man gets in the chair if he isn't already, of course.
Wolfman: "We can get this ship to HQ... but once this thing crashes, it will still go on."
Mystery Guy: "Can you land this thing?"
Julian Sawyer: *Heads to Charles' Amazing Rocket Chair 5000 in the back, carrying Sha'fol.*
Wolfman: "Decently I'd think."
VG stays with Wolfman.
Wolfman: *To Mystery Guy* "Who are you anyway?"
Metal Man: "Yeah... that's a good question."
Charles Magellean: "Take off in 15."
Mystery Guy: "My name's Tetra."
Metal Man: "Tetra? Has a nice ring to it."
Charles Magellean activates the backup Bob for one of the remaining seats.
Wolfman: "Well, hope you like this motley crew of Questers."
Charles Magellean: "Take off in 5, people."
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Greetings."
Mystery Guy: "Sure. Uh... I think I should leave with the others already..."
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "...Sir Charles. This ship..."
Charles Magellean: "I know."
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Could I upload myself to it to give it a safe landing?"
Mystery Guy boards the remaining seat.
Wolfman: "...that could be a good idea."
Charles Magellean: "Proceed, bob!"
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Affirmative."
Wolfman activates whatever is needed to let Bob in.
Metal Man (GM): He appears to clone himself.
Charles Magellean: "Hop to it!"
Aribar mumbles a greeting to the new guy and says that he's Aribar, decides Wolfman has everything under control, and heads to the nearest corner to sit down and review all that has happened.
Metal Man (GM): Another one appears near the panel. The ship begins to stabilize itself.
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: (2 voices) "Ship has been stabilized. I shall make sure it lands with minimum damage."
Charles Magellean pulls the lever on his lower left, the chain on his right, and presses on two accelerators.
Wolfman: "Thanks Bob... and Bob."
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "My copy shall see to it that this is repaired for the Questers."
Charles Magellean: "Take off!"
Metal Man (GM): *WHOOSH.*
VG attempts to contact Mewtwo while on the ship to report what has happened.
Charles Magellean: *The extended chair crashes through one of the strong walls as it goes to the base of Questers.*
Metal Man (GM): Everyone but Aribar and Wolfman and VG lift off, on their way towards where Charles steers the chair.
Mewtwo: "VG. VG. Is that you? The ship is coming in to land near us. Are you on the ship? Are you okay?"
VG: "We are on the ship, yes."
Mewtwo: "The amount of destruction and fighting nearby made me afraid that you people had been injured."
VG: "It's been commandeered by us, and Locos's holographic friend named Bob is going to give us a safe landing."
Metal Man: "Woah! This chair is far faster than my car!"
VG: "Charles... actually." *He still has to remember the new name.*
Tetra: "Thank God for seatbelts..."
Mewtwo: "Good work. Although Eisnaught has been taken over by the Axiom people, and they hold uncontested power there... The whole city was evacuated previous. Only robots died in the fighting."
VG: "That's good to know."
Wolfman takes the conversation now. "Just one thing bothers me about this Mewtwo..."
Mewtwo: "Kuja intended to inflict maximum casualties. That's what a mysterious computer told us."
Charles Magellean presses the button that's third from the lever that's below the chain on his bottom left, the chain that's just above him to his right and behind the third lever and just a little more forward than the 45th button on the control panel, and the chair increases velocity by 4% and modifies the steering angle by 7 degrees.
Wolfman: "Sha'Fol ended up helping us in the end... even though he made me Maverick for a time. Do you know why?"
Mewtwo: "He created Nintendus. Apparently, he wants to save it. He may have made you Maverick so that you could release him. It appears to have worked? I'm not sure."
Wolfman: "...in a few ways, I'm still Maverick."
Julian Sawyer starts taping his fingers on the side of the chair.
Wolfman: "But I've learned to accept it."
Mewtwo: "That other, mysterious computer remains strange."
Charles Magellean makes it now so that the chair does a nose dive at 85 degrees to the ground, increases the velocity by another 8%...
Metal Man: "We're almost theeeereahhhhhhhh!!!!"
Julian Sawyer: "WATCH OUT!"
VG: "Well, we'll be coming in... after Charles is done with his stunt flying."
Tetra closes his eyes tight.
VG is now looking out the window.
Charles Magellean pulls up on the double levers very hard so now they go to parallel to the ground, as opposed to being perpendicular.
Tetra: "Did I ever mention I don't like heights?"
Mewtwo: "Where is Sha'Fol?"
