Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 183: Out of the Kitchen, Into the Kettle

Wolfman (GM): ...got any midair or comebacks? or anything else unique to try? *awaits this.*
Garrick Fy`aar immediately spins around in mid air, firing a host of dumdum shots into the lava. The kick from dumdums is quite large, so it should push him along the way...
Wolfman (GM): roll it ...that's just enough kick. you land on the new cart. it starts going eventually, you all meet up
Garrick Fy`aar: "...sheesh... that was close..."
Julian Sawyer: "How'd it go?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Just barely made it over the biggest fire trap I've ever seen."
Metal Man: "You mean the one I flew into earlier with rocket propulsion?"
Gibby: "I hope this cart trip ends sometime soon."
Wolfman (GM): you all jump another lava pit... no problem here
Julian Sawyer: *Starts playing Tetris on his Dex.*
Wolfman (GM): another pit coming... there is no way it can make it here... but there are TWO choices this time! there are a bunch of carts on an upper level, and a lower level
Metal Man: "Oh no! Another pit of hot sauce!"
Wolfman (GM): those that want the upper level of carts won't need as high of a number as those for the lower level ...let's do this individually here
Julian Sawyer: "I'll take the high road, and you'll take the low road..."
Metal Man tries to go onto the upper level of carts.
Wolfman (GM): ...starting with Metal not these Julian the 11 does not doom you here you don't land in the lava if that is your concern however... another jump is needed okay, more than enough next... I choose Gibby!
Gibby shall risk it by going to the lower level.
Wolfman (GM): ...well, that's a terrible start... ...you still need a midair and/or comeback jump. or something unique, like Garrick & Dum dums
Gibby attempts one of those midair jumps that everyone keeps talking about.
Wolfman (GM): are you a smasher? ...do you have any move that can propel you in the air even slightly then? that can possibly work use your imagination now and then, and you can be surprised but your timing itself will need to be pretty good get into position, and roll it
Gibby looks down at the mag-ma, inhales, looks down, and shoots out a wave of fire hopefully causing the cart to lift up enough for him to be on the track.
Wolfman (GM): congrats next up... looks like Garrick
Gibby lands, and sweats. "That... was tough..."
Wolfman (GM): Garrick: upper or lower?
Garrick Fy`aar will try his hand at the lower path...
Wolfman (GM): clean jump; you make it
Garrick Fy`aar lands safely in the cart next to Gibby.
Wolfman (GM): Julian goes
Julian Sawyer: *Takes the high road.*
Wolfman (GM): more than enough now, THREE groups split up... which to do first...?
Julian Sawyer: *Lands with a clank.*
Wolfman (GM): Metal and Julian the two of you, first.
Metal Man: "Forward ho!"
Julian Sawyer: "Onward!"
Metal Man: "Now then... I hope there are pirates... and not MAGMA pits..."
Wolfman (GM): well, I give you your wish Metal
Julian Sawyer: "I hope for neither."
Wolfman (GM): you reach the end of the track ...there are five pirates: three simple short guys with spears, and two nasty ducks
Julian Sawyer: "How bout that..."
Wolfman (GM): and they are blocking the exit
Julian Sawyer: "...Ducks?"
Metal Man: "Arrr!" *He leaps out and assumes a piratey stance with his axe.*
Julian Sawyer: *Jumps out and gets ready to fight.*
Wolfman (GM): order: Julian, Ducks, Metal, Spear Guys
Julian Sawyer: *Dexes both of them.*
Wolfman (GM): any particular order? or do you not care?
Smash Dex: "...DING!"
These short pirates are usually the main representation of a pirate's army. They are easy to defeat, as long as you do not get poked by the spear.
Stats: 100 HP, 15 AC, 20 STR, 20 SPD, 10 INT
Duck of Doom.
If the Spear Pirates are infantry, these ducks are the cavalry. Their bite can be painful, and they are masters of the boomerang.
Stats: 200 HP, 17 AC, 25 STR, 15 SPD, 15 INT
Boomerang Throw: can hit all. d20+3 to hit, 20 damage and 25% chance of stun.
Bite: targets one. d20+7 to hit: 40 damage
Other stats, if any, unknown. *DONE.*
Julian Sawyer: "Get the ducks, first."
Metal Man: "Okay then."
Wolfman (GM): now, the Ducks go first because they are the boss of this group, and the Spear Pirates have to listen to them both ducks give out some war cry... different cries, though
Julian Sawyer: "Can you ducks talk?"
Metal Man: "I don't like the sound of that."
Wolfman (GM): k ...ouchies for you guys Duck 1's war cry: total damage will be DOUBLE uck 2's war cry: everyone has +3 AC sorry Julian enemies get benefits; you guys get squat Metal, what will you do about it?
Metal Man: "Hmmm..." *He gives Duck 1 three slashings.*
Julian Sawyer: "Get the ducks!"
Wolfman (GM): only two slashes due to the recent war cry that's...40, right? luckily, the spear guys do NOT have any sort of War Cries unluckily... they aren't as dumb as they are in the Wario land games the three of them start spinning their spears... somehow... without lack of visible hands... they maintain their spinning position, making it even HARDER for them to be hit now
Julian Sawyer: *Downs a Piece Of Power, then attacks with a Hat Trick on both Ducks and Pirate 1*
Wolfman (GM): Duck 1 is unaffected Duck 2 is hit Spear Pirate 1... is HIT! that's your turn? ...oh yeah; silly me; that is Duck 1 wants to disable you: he throws your boomerang at you... and Metal while he's at it.
Julian Sawyer: *Jumps over it.*
Wolfman (GM): Metal also avoids I assume so... Duck 2 goes for a different move. Julian, heads up! He wants to chomp your brains out! ...okay, the dice hate ME now
Julian Sawyer: *Woah! Steps on outta da way!*
Wolfman (GM): Metal?
Metal Man is not hit. He has 21 AC.
Editor's Note: So basically, Illian is supernaturally defensible.
Wolfman (GM): no no no... your turn
Metal Man attacks Duck 1 with three more slashes... he's going for all-out power.
Wolfman (GM): two hits... another 40? Spear Guys 1 and 2 maintain their spinning Spear Guy 3 decides to rush towards Metal, like a battering ram... spear in front.
Metal Man sits there while he is missed.
Julian Sawyer: *And there was much Hat-Tricking, as Julian used the move twice, hitting each enemy once except Duck 1, which was hit twice.*
Metal Man watches the hat fly about like Odd-job's hat.
Wolfman (GM): all get hit except for Duck 2 Ducks go! Duck 1 tries biting Julian: Duck 2 tries biting Metal
Julian Sawyer: *Side-stepping actin!*
Metal Man dodges again!
Wolfman (GM): Duck 1 raises something strange into the air... it looks like a 4 leaf clover! Duck 1 tries the bite again! ...only to not have the luck of the irish not even cheating can the duck win
Julian Sawyer: *Dodges better than last time.*
Metal Man gives Duck 1 three more painful slashings.
Metal Man (GM): 20 damage per hit; 40 for da crit.
Wolfman (GM): Duck 1 is da fricasseed
Metal Man: "Alll right... only one Duck and two men of steel left." *Turn over.*
Wolfman (GM): three steel men Spear guy 1 goes to his special defense mode
Julian Sawyer: "There are three left, Metal."
Wolfman (GM): Spear guy 2 charges towards Metal
Metal Man: "Ow." *He is hit.*
Wolfman (GM): 30% taken Spear guy 3...pole vaults up? Spear guy 3 can not be targeted this round
Julian Sawyer: *Goes for a Face Wash on Duck one, followed by a Beatbox.*
Wolfman (GM): try washing your own face first TWO beat boxes hit now the duck can be poisoned you get the poin he duck is mad at you however, instead of trying to attack... he attempts a THIRD type of war cry only he gets the benefit, though... of +3 accuracy!
Metal Man: "Hmph... he will soon fall." *He gives Duck two three Ice slashes.*
Wolfman (GM): sorry; first two hit 40 again, right?
Metal Man (GM): Yup.
Wolfman (GM): Spear Guy 1 pole vaults up Spear 2 goes spinning with the spear Spear Guy 3 comes down... rushing... with a vengeance... Julian, watch out!
Julian Sawyer: *Twist and dodge* "You guys suck."
Wolfman (GM): Spear Guy 3 cheats with a 4 leaf clover that problably shouldn't be used at that time, but doesn't care ...and he pays for it!
Julian Sawyer: *Kicks him in the face.*
Wolfman (GM): Julian, no auto counters what happens though... is just as good he ends up drilling a hole in the ground with such force... He somehow digs into Lava! *death.*
Metal Man: "Yay!"
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Wolfman (GM): the hole is not big enough for you guys to fall in, but tripping could be possible
Julian Sawyer: "Try throwing thim in the hole?" *Tries to grab Duck 1...or 2...whichever is left.*
Wolfman (GM): only one duck really... but you have butterfingers
Julian Sawyer: *Tries grabbing the duck again! DAMMIT! LAST LUCKY.*
Wolfman (GM): if I knew this battle would be that annoying, I would have brought out the Earthbound duck ...either way, you grab it
Julian Sawyer: *Throws it in the lava.*
Wolfman (GM): you somehow cause a bigger hole to form... he does fall in
Julian Sawyer: "BEGONE, EVIL HELLDUCK!"
Wolfman (GM): with the ducks Barbecued, Metal goes only one target Spear Guy 2. Spear Guy 1 pole-vaulted himself up
Metal Man: "AIIIIYEEEEEE!!!!!!!!"
Wolfman (GM): and watch out for the hole: it's big enough to fall in now
Metal Man viciously tries to pick up Spear Guy by the non-pointy end.
Wolfman (GM): Metal: you get knocked back by the spinning spear of doom
Metal Man: "Hmmm... wait! Eureka!"
Wolfman (GM): 18 damage by that
Metal Man tries a Crystal Container on the Spear guy instead.
Metal Man (GM): 4 ice damage and freeze if that hits.
Wolfman (GM): well, that works
Metal Man then pushes it into the hole, while it is frozen.
Wolfman (GM): STR check to see if you can push it far enough it's just teetering.. ..I'll let it go. I ow, Spear Guy 1...Metal, watch out! You killed its brethren!
Metal Man is hit.
Wolfman (GM): and now, you suffer the effects of a War Cry I'ed Spear Leap 100 HP
Metal Man is hit... but does not die! He barely survives, though.
Wolfman (GM): even though you crit missed that... I'll let it go
Julian Sawyer: *Face Washin' and Beatboxin' Action!*
Wario gives Julian some soap.

Wolfman (GM): you both gain 175 EXP does anyone have any item type badges I should be aware of? Julian: item badges or anything? *badge comes out* well, which one of you guys wants to be an Item Hog?
Julian Sawyer: "...Rock paper scissors for it?"
Metal Man: "Hmmmm... What type of badge is it?"
Julian Sawyer: "...Looks like it's Item Hog."
Metal Man: "Oh. Well then. Rock paper scissors it is."
Wolfman (GM): being these guys are pirates, they plunder through any method okay, d3s for both of you Paper is 1, Rock is 2, Scissors if 3
Julian Sawyer: "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"
Metal Man: "Go scissors!"
Wolfman (GM): Rock crushes Scissors; Julian decides who gets it
Julian Sawyer: "Rock crushes scissors, the badge is mine." *Yoink.*
Wolfman (GM): the two of you guys end up... with Gibby and Garrick! the four of you are kind of paused... but can chat and stuff in the main room
Gibby: "Hey there!"
Julian Sawyer: "Stuip ducks!"
Metal Man (GM): STUIP DUCKS
Gibby: *^quote of the night brought to you by snickers cruncher.*
Julian Sawyer: "G Squared! How was your route?"
Metal Man: "It's a good thing we defeated that troupe of ducks and spears." *He looks beaten up all over.* "Though that spear gave me a beating!"
Gibby: "You guys had a rough time?"
Julian Sawyer: "Well, Metal did. We found a badge though."
Metal Man: "Yes... beaten up by a spear after rocketing into magma."
Julian Sawyer: *Shows it to him.* "Item Hog. I beat Metal in Rock Paper Scissors for it."
Metal Man: "I think I'll have some tea."
Julian Sawyer: "So how was your trip?"
Metal Man starts drinking some Ice Tea.
Metal Man (GM): *Regains 80 HP by drinking both.*
Wolfman (GM): Everyone gains the benefits of the Ice Tea Elixir
Garrick Fy`aar fill drink some as well...
Julian Sawyer: "Gibby?"
Gibby: "It was good."
Editor's Note: Unfortunately I don't have the GMing of the other two routes, so we'll just have to imagine what happened on them.
Julian Sawyer: "You pick anything up?"
Gibby: "I got a couple things." *He shows him the items Spring and Darkness Cube.*
Wolfman (GM): to whoever has good hearing:
Julian Sawyer: "... Did someone just scream?"
Gibby puts his items away.
Wolfman (GM): everyone: you see two pogo sticks coming your way... they are flashing.
Metal Man: "No. Gibby's stomach did. Ahhhhh!!! Pogo sticks!"
Gibby: "No, I think it--AHH!"
Wolfman (GM): Eventually, they stop flashing, and drop down onto the ground. After bouncing once kind of backwards...
Wario: "Whew; that was fun!"
Gibby walks over to the pogo sticks.
Wolfman (GM): Demon was with Wario, of course they are no longer pogo sticks
Gibby: "OH! It's you guys."
Julian Sawyer: "...That was odd."
Metal Man: "This gives me ideas for the newest defenses for the stadium..."
King Demon gets dizzy.
Gibby: "Pogo sticks?"
Julian Sawyer: "Pogo sticks?"
Metal Man: .oO(*Image of dynamite-laden automatic pogostick launchers*)
Julian Sawyer: "JINX!"
King Demon: "Woah, what a ride!"
Julian Sawyer: "...So how was your path, Demon?"
King Demon: "I wonder if I can do that again!" *He is dizzy* "Springy! Can we do that again!? How was yours?"
Metal Man: "A spear hit me."
Julian Sawyer: "There were mine-carts, then a split path. Metal and I fought ducks and spear guys, and I got a new badge."
King Demon: "That's not too bad, I got hit by a HAMMER!"
Metal Man: "I got beaten up."
King Demon: "I got some coins... and actually that's about it. Ducks and spear guys?"
Julian Sawyer: "Yeah."
King Demon: "Sounds like an adventure."
Julian Sawyer: "It was."
Wario awaits the others.
King Demon gets up and steadies himself, after that ride he's a little dizzy.
Wario: "Not bad for a first time Pogo'er. Of course, I would have gotten all of those coins along the way!"
King Demon: "Thanks W!"
Wario gets a look at everyone.
King Demon: "I'm sure you would have!"
Wario: "Alright, I see everyone is ready to continue; follow me!" *He takes an easterly route.*
Julian Sawyer: "Onwards!" *Follows.*
King Demon follows Wario.
Metal Man follows."
Wolfman (GM): we all reach a site... there is a big pit in front of us
Metal Man: "Look at the size of that pit!"
Wolfman (GM): on the other side, is a platform... with a bigger ! block than normal
Wario: "Gah... who moved the Teapot block?!?" *He checks his inventory... but doesn't really have much, except a lot of coins.* "...and I don't know where I placed my Jet Hat either."
Metal Man: "Can't we jump it?"
Julian Sawyer: "Metal, is your board working?"
Wolfman (GM): it hasn't been 2 game hours yet
Metal Man: "Nope."
King Demon looks around "great... so how do we get over there!?"
Wario: "Jumping this? I doubt even that rascally Mario person can get over!"
Gibby: "There must be SOME way."
Julian Sawyer: "Someone try shooting the block."
Metal Man: "A human bridge?"
Wolfman (GM): Demon: you see... another door. This one seems to have some overall markings above the door
King Demon: "Think that's less than 20 feet?"
Wolfman (GM): the pit is more than 20 feet more than 50...closer to 100-120
King Demon walks to the door.
Wolfman (GM): extremely difficult to jump
Wario sees Demon go into the door...
King Demon: .oO(wonder where this goes...)
Wario: "Of course; why didn't I think of it before? The Golf Blocks!"
Metal Man: "Golf blocks?"
King Demon: "Golf blocks?"
Julian Sawyer: "The what?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Golf blocks? You know, I could just shoot the thing..."
Wario: "Ever since my strange adventure in a music box, I've been seeing these doors all over! To get around an obstacle, you have to play a strange form of golf to get the Golf Blocks to raise up to the proper spot!"
Garrick Fy`aar sighs and shoots a few rounds into that ! block.
Wolfman (GM): shooting does nothing
Metal Man: "Your adventures are almost as weird as ours..."
Wolfman (GM): Demon: your own adventure... again! However, we'll keep it here you see a pipe in the "Golf Lobby".
King Demon: "Nah, ours are much stranger!"
Wolfman (GM): there is a sign: "Golf, only 250 coins per person."
King Demon shrugs and plays golf for 250 coins I guess.
Julian Sawyer: "I'll take a shot at it."
Wolfman (GM): the Warp Pipe opens for you Julian: Demon is doing it right now this is a one player event
King Demon enters the pipe.
Gibby: "Meh... I'm not a fan of golf."
Wolfman (GM): Demon, welcome to the Kitchen Island golf course all you have to do here is make par you will be hitting a permanently stunned Umbrella Pirate towards the hole of course, you have to watch out for the usual hazards, like the Rough, the Bunker, the Water, or even worse... the O.B. I won't bother with the power gauges and whatnot... just a simple STR check will handle this par for today... ouch; the Par 3 I wasn't quite ready yet... had to modify the course a little due to par 3 it's alright; I got it covered now now, I'll be even more fair to you each shot, you can say whether you want regular, topspin, or backspin those need no roles, but you have to say before you "swing." if you can get within... say, 3-5 feet of the hole, I'll probably just let it fall in due to how hard it is to actually swing with dice NOW I'm ready for your first swing
King Demon: *how far is the hole anyway? He takes a regular swing.*
Wolfman (GM): you hit it 16 feet... the whole itself is 48 ft correct Demon you see some Bunkers ahead
King Demon hits one with topspin.
Wolfman (GM): be careful with this one and try to clear it just a regular STR check again; you are on the fairway
King Demon: *k... ready for the roll?*
Wolfman (GM): ready
King Demon: *ok, any mod for spin?*
Wolfman (GM): nope; topspin is handled after it depends on if you land on good ground or not
King Demon rolls one with topspin, ahd hopes to avoid the bunkers....
Wolfman (GM): wow... LOTS of air! You get it pretty far... 21 ft... now at 37...but the Topspin Bounce comes in due to that power... 43, which is 5 ft of 48! It somehow rolls in... you got a birdie!
King Demon: "All RIGHT!!!"
Wolfman (GM): you can now take the pipe out
King Demon does so.
Wolfman (GM): you arrive out... and suddenly, all of you hear something
Wario: "The Golf Blocks; they're coming!"
Wolfman (GM): the Blocks themselves somehow "appear"...and line themselves up to form an easy bridge to the platform.
Julian Sawyer: "Hooray."
Wario charges along again.
King Demon: "Thanks Julian!"
Julian Sawyer: *Starts awalkin'*
Wolfman (GM): everyone, welcome to the Floating Island of Kettalia.
King Demon walks along the path.
Wolfman (GM): this is where the special block got moved to for some reason
Metal Man: "Wow... we're on another floating island..."
Wario: "And now, to prove to you guys that this Voodoo Poodoo does not exist!" *He jumps up... and hits the block.*
Wolfman (GM): *meanwhile...* somewhere near the top of the mountain, but not quite, a television crew prepares to speak again.
Chah T: "Now we have reached what should be a spot near the entrance to Cabbage Cave. However, I do not see an entrance what so ever----huh? What do you mean, something strange is going on above me?"
Wolfman (GM): Chah T looks up... and sees a floating top of a Tea pot Kettle (not the same one you guys are on) suddenly, it starts coming down... fast. *QUAKE* Chah T and crew somehow start tumbling down Mount Teapot... you guys are all safe. a new cavern has somehow shown itself a little farther up the mountain for you guys *end cutscene.*
King Demon: "Sweet, a hidden passage!"
Wario: "That is the Cabbage Cave thing you are looking for, right?"
Metal Man: "I think so. Then... we can raid it for the Voodoo Poodoo Woodoo Goodooo Moodoooooooooooo!!!!!"
Julian Sawyer: "It must be."
???: "Gah, you are more annoying than that Wario guy."
Metal Man: "Why thank you."
Wolfman (GM): the voice comes from behind you all.
Julian Sawyer: "Shut up, voice in my head."
Garrick Fy`aar spins on his heel, drawing weaponry...
Wario turns to the voice... and panics a little.
Julian Sawyer: *Turn, turn, turns.*
Wolfman (GM): what you see is a woman riding in some sort of flying vehicle. Not exactly Eggman like, but it can be changed to almost anything.
Metal Man spins around and gives the peace sign.
Wolfman (GM): the woman herself is a little thin, but shapely...
King Demon looks behind him.
Wolfman (GM): the woman also has fancy jewelry... and a new feature: an eye patch.
Metal Man: "Oh no! Yurie discovered that her room was destroyed!"
Julian Sawyer: "Admiral Jelly!"
???: "Yurie? I do not know of a Yurie. I do know of a Captain Syrup though!"
Metal Man: "You do? Is he like those Mrs. Butterworth's syrup containers?"
Wolfman (GM): the Captain fires a projectile towards Julian... it purposely misses.
King Demon: "I'm gonna gues she's a pirate?"
King Demon: "YOU'RE Captain Syrup, huh?"
Captain Syrup: "Of course I'm a bloody pirate you land lubber! I'm a pirate that loves to pilfage and plunder all sorts of treasure."
Metal Man: "Well... we do the same... but to bad people instead."
Captain Syrup: "And the Voodoo Poodoo will be mine, and I have you guys to thank."
Metal Man: "Oh no... all this walking for nothing."
Captain Syrup: "Now if you'll excuse me... treasure awaits! Elite Spear Guys!"
King Demon: "I... don't think so lady!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...heh."
Julian Sawyer: "Think again, Commodore Preservatives. We ain't letting you get it. We saw it on TV first."
Wolfman (GM): suddenly, Elite Spear guys 1 and 2 come in somehow. Elite Spear guy 3 is late, and ends up bumping into 2, who bumps into 1.
Garrick Fy`aar: "...what the hell did you just say, Julian?"
Julian Sawyer: "...I don't know."
Wolfman (GM): the both of them look at #3, wondering.. oO(Why the hell is he always late?)
Garrick Fy`aar: "...Commodore Preservatives?"
King Demon: "... Oh look, its the three stooges!"
Wolfman (GM): ...either way, the four of them end up speeding towards the cave, ready to set it with traps and get the treasure and all other things that pirates do.
Garrick Fy`aar: "So... shall we go after them?"
Metal Man: "Hmmmm... we need something to get by them with... or to beat them down with..."
Wolfman (GM): and no Metal: 2 hours haven't passed yet, and even if they did, they are a lot faster now that all are in the ship.
Wario: "Of COURSE we go after her! She's my other arch nemesis!"
King Demon runs off after them "Get back here you chickens!"
Julian Sawyer: "Then what are we waiting for?!" *Whoosh!*
Metal Man follows...
Wario: "She stole the Peach Statue that I tried to rescue... but that blasted Mario came and--" *He looks around... all of the others went ahead.* "Hey! Wait for me!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Let's go then."
Wario charges after the others.
Garrick Fy`aar is also already gone.
Wario eventually catches up to the rest of the Questers, who have already by this time found the entrance to Cabbage Cave. He pants and pants... "Think you can wait up for me?"
Julian Sawyer: "Not when we're trying to stop a pirate and company from trying to steal a treasure that we saw first and were going to steal."
Metal Man: "I'll scout ahead!"
Wario: "..." .oO(To help, or hurt? Gah... stupid conscience!)
King Demon: "Knock yourself out!"
Wario: "...fine; I'll help you guys this once! Let's go in!"
King Demon walks through the entrance.
Wario and Metal are definitely entering... as is Demon...
Julian Sawyer: *Has entered.*
Wario and company arrive to the "lobby" so to speak...
Wolfman (GM): there are five doors; one in center (locked), two to the left, and two to the right
Metal Man: "Hmmmm... this place is rather large..."
Julian Sawyer: "...To the right!"
King Demon: "I hate locked doors..."

Wolfman (GM): the room you have entered is less puzzling than the others... it's actually a simple room

Wolfman (GM): there are you guys... a 10 foot drop below you guys which extends another 10 feet out... then another 200 ft or so of actual bridge towards a key at the other end.
King Demon: "This is... different."
Metal Man: "This looks tricky."
Wolfman (GM): all that has to happen: one of you simply cross to the other side only one at a time please
Julian Sawyer: "...A bridge, eh?"
Wolfman (GM): oh yeah; the Bridge is over lava.
Wario: "I'm not crossing this one; no way."
Metal Man: "Hmmmm..."
King Demon sighs.
Julian Sawyer: "...Rock Paper Scissors time."
King Demon: "I'll go, if nobody else will... least Fire's my element if nothing else..."
Wolfman (GM): alright Demon: you are at the "start" mark of the bridge as you can see, the bridge itself is semi-transparent

Metal Man: "It's a grid! Let's cause a power outage!"
Wolfman (GM): no Rolley Fish or Stingy Octopi or anything
Julian Sawyer: "Invisible maze..." *Looks for a rock or stick or something.*

Metal Man reappears... and now he's mad... crazy mad. "I'll take you down, Pancake Syrup! Yahhhhh!!!!!!" *He summons three crystals... what do they do? Let's find out.*
Captain Syrup: "What are you attempting here?"
Metal Man: "Crystal... Roulette!" *He then gets on the Star Board... using a previously unlisted ability, he flies straight towards Syrup, about to strike her ship with a highly powerful lightning bolt.*
Wolfman (GM): the Star Board is active now ...I'm sorry to do this Metal... *REFLECTOR.*
Captain Syrup: "HA HA HA HA HA!"
Metal Man (GM): Problem with your idea: It's not a ranged attack.
Metal Man would fly into Syrup, upon contact shocking the ship; it's up to Wolfman what happens.
Wolfman (GM): well, not exactly Reflectoring here... but there is a problem you do some shocking to her... but the materials of the ship somehow cause YOU to be shocked by an equal amount!
Metal Man and Syrup are shocked for... 93 damage.
Wolfman (GM): the current goes to her and comes BACK to you near instantaneously

Metal Man: "Unfortunately, I don't have the luck to get two super-lightning bolts in a row, nor the recovery items or the board energy to do all of that again... so I'll have to think of something equally crazy!"

Wolfman (GM): Round 2 all body parts by you guys are still disabled for a round
Captain Syrup: "Okay Pirates! Get the new beams out!"
Wolfman (GM): Syrup's Syrup Skull ship fires a beam... towards all of you! me included! But will it work? nope Elite #1 on the Syrup Saucer ship tries his beam ..that doesn't work. Metal Man begins concocting another totally insane plan... seeing as he can't just attack continuously with his axe.

Gibby cocks his gun, and shoots at the Metal Spear Man three times.
Wolfman (GM): Gibby: what body part did I say was disabled to you again? ...logic wins out

Wolfman (GM): Julian, you and MSM again.
Julian Sawyer: *Tries a bottle breaker on Robo-Spear again.*
Wolfman (GM): MSM charges after Julian this time ..okay, how close must you be to actually... use the bottle breaker? ...then you set yourself up this time. the bottle breaks... but you practically ran into the MSM's charge attack! Lucky Day doesn't help with damage you run into yourself

Garrick Fy`aar decides to throw that throne later on, but lets out a hurricane kick, a heel drop, and a drill kick at the Syrup Spear.
Wolfman (GM): *CO-CO-CO-COMBO!* ouch, ouch, and MORE ouch that your turn?
Garrick Fy`aar backflips backwards and lands in a slight crouch.
Wolfman (GM): Digi's and my go.
Wario attempts another rushing jet attack... this time, Syrup in her Skull. He can't hit her.
Digifanatic follows Wario's move with another Fire Punch, again with the right hand.
Wario goes for another tactic then... to try to stun the MSM! He jumps up, and ground pounds right by him... as Digi lands his hit!
Wolfman (GM): however, the MSM is NOT affected! Metal, you better have a good idea here, or else these pirates might end up killing you
Digifanatic then uses a Super Mario Punch on Syrup (no coins this time thought because she's inside of something)
Wolfman (GM): actually hits
Metal Man puts on Speed Shoes, heals Julian with Crystal Purification (+20 HP to him), then goes into defense mode.
Wolfman (GM): Round 3...all disabled body parts are now reenabled
Metal Man goes first! Yay! "Die, evil pirates!"
Wolfman (GM): ...you are one lucky person Metal see what you can do before the pirates go
Metal Man gets on his Star Board, and activates the strafe mode... then goes at the pirates crazily! Ice Slash; using all but 1 EP of the Star Board, he effects all with it.
Metal Man (GM): 20% per hit; each roll effects all.
Wolfman (GM): clarify "all" here: just the three saucers?
Metal Man (GM): It hits every enemy.
Wolfman (GM): gotcha... melee or projectile?
Metal Man (GM): Melee.
Wolfman (GM): well, Ice doesn't cause a problem here.. ..to Syrup herself anyway however, the Metal Spear Man's engines have been slowed due to the ice!
Metal Man's hyper-active turn is over.
Wolfman (GM): suddenly, new Voodoo curses come into play!
Wario has suffered major head pain: for the next action or two, I'm Drunk Wario!
Wolfman (GM): Gibby: your body somehow gets all... well, FLAT! You are Flat Gibby! You suffer a -6 penalty on all attacks while flattened like this.
Gibby feels like a pancake. "...did the room just get smaller?"
Wolfman (GM): Garrick: Your wrists are fine... but your hands are somehow stuck behind your back! ALL hand attacks are next to impossible. Metal: Your legs have the BIGGEST cramp they've ever had! Moving is extremely difficult to do; -5 penalty on all attacks that require you to move to attack
Metal Man: "Ugh... stiff."
Wolfman (GM): Digi: Your hands suddenly feel... well, COLD! All of your fire-based attacks can not be used right now. Elite #3 (somewhere): *maniacal laugh.*
Digifanatic: "I have a feeling these aren't the end of the curses either... dah! Was that...?"
Wolfman (GM): now, am I missing anyone? ...guess not. Now for the pirates!
Garrick Fy`aar: "Dah, enough of this..."
Wolfman (GM): Elite #2 goes first... he attempts to give the Metal Spear Man some more juice from his Syrup Spear ship ..unfortunately, that's not much juice. Syrup puts up some type of barrier around her ship. and Elite #1 in the Syrup Saucer... well, he goes for his beam attack again. which again, does zilch.
Garrick Fy`aar decides he's sick of that idiot and his curses. He runs straight past all the enemies around him, his legs blurring with his common olympic speed, leaping up and dropping kicking the throne as hard as he can.
Wolfman (GM): it will take an action to even get there; SPD check first to see if you actually get PAST all of them let's see... *check, check, check, check... X.*
Captain Syrup: "I don't think so!"
Metal Man grins for no reason.
Wolfman (GM): Garrick: you are facing her beam attack from point blank ...which STILL does nothing! however, she's blocking the way
Garrick Fy`aar: "You couldn't hit the broad side of a bard!" *He LEAPS over her...*
Captain Syrup: "You asked for it!"
Wolfman (GM): *Pirate Cheat Active.*
Metal Man: "I should have bought more items..."
Wolfman (GM): Garrick: FIVE missiles your way.
Garrick Fy`aar dodges ALL of them with his uncanny speed.
Wario: "You idiot! DON'T taunt her up close!"
Garrick Fy`aar gets clipped by the resounding explosion from the missile, but hopes that it'll push him past her...
Wolfman (GM): you get sent back to the others by the 4th missile; the rest of them can't really get you. however, the missile itself was 25%
Garrick Fy`aar skids backward, smirking as he flips back up onto his feet.
Metal Man: "If she has missiles, she can hit anyone within a certain range..."
Wolfman (GM): and you get sent back to the Heroes
Metal Man: "Now then... I have... a better idea..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'm all ears, but first..." *He uses his last action to DRILL kick the woman.*
Wolfman (GM): need to leap up a good deal to actually hit *her.*
Metal Man: "The Warp Stone can randomly switch places between me and anyone here."
Wolfman (GM): well... you use the Drill Kick on the ground or something.
Digifanatic: "Quite crazy things." (at the fight scene, not Metal's comment)
Metal Man: "If I got lucky, I could switch places with such people as THAT GUY WHO KEEPS ON USING VOODOO CURSES ON US!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Then please do it. I want to feed the guy my foot."
Metal Man: "It's no way guaranteed... I may just switch places with one of you guys instead."
Gibby stuggles to lift his gun up, but does so, cocks, and fires three more shots at the Metal Spear Man... but his accuracy ain't so great when smushed.
Wolfman (GM): I don't know; looks pretty good to me... all three Julian + MSM
Captain Syrup: "Get that flying fiend!"
Gibby: "You know, I always did consider myself a 'down to earth' kind of fellow!" *Rim shot.*
Wolfman (GM): the MSM charges towards Metal... somehow, that extra juice gave him slightly more power! Metal: do you get attacked?
Garrick Fy`aar looks at Gibby "...corny."
Metal Man (GM): Depends; how much AC do I gain from defense mode?
Wolfman (GM): last we agreed... it was 2
Metal Man (GM): Okay... so then he barely hits.
Wolfman (GM): Metal, welcome to Spiked Bum Central. Next stop; the Ceiling! *BONK* *THUNK* you actually get sent there and fall down... extra damage here 66% lost
Metal Man: "Ow!"
Wolfman (GM): ...Digi, go ahead while Julian is... cursed in his own way
Digifanatic: "Dang... all enemies except that Spear Man are floating... Oh well." *He tries that SM Punch on Syrup again.*
Wolfman (GM): the ship gets hit wait... it might not didn't read my own character sheet sorry Captain Syrup: *more pirate maniac laughter.*
Digifanatic then does a bit of a leap towards the Elite #1, trying to whack it with the Golf Club in midair.
Wolfman (GM): now THAT can work the Syrup Saucer ship takes damage
Wario has to attack while Drunk... he can't tell who his enemies are... or his friends...
Digifanatic: "Dang, I was hoping he'd safely defend or something..."
Wario tries to cough up... some sort of... well, drunk ball towards Elite #1 in the Saucer ship. It's a pretty medium sized ball.
Wolfman (GM): The same thing happens... well, to Metal!
Metal Man dodges.
Wolfman (GM): *BURP* that's all that happens... just some burps Round... what is it now; 4?
Metal Man (GM): My turn!
Metal Man starts his turn by using Crystal Purification on himself; +20% HP, 1 status effect healed (If the stiffness is considered one)
Wolfman (GM): the stiffness is gone ALL of you are suffering status effects in a way
Metal Man then thinks... and uses the Dizzy Dial on the enemies!
Metal Man (GM): Enemies: For each one, use a d5. Any ones that get a 1 are confused.
Wolfman (GM): I'll also roll for the hidden Elite 3

Wolfman (GM): Captain Syrup: *chuckles.*

Gibby decides to go along with Garrick. After reloading his gun, he fires three more shots at the Syrup Spear.

Wolfman (GM): Syrup is definitely laughing... she's actually defeated Wario!
Digifanatic tries setting up the Saucer Ship with something... a Feinter to be exact. (now, being a punch, this does incorporate Extend-o_Glove, according to the site)

Wolfman (GM): let em have it! roll for crit chance your new curses, ladies and gentlemen... Wario: nothing happens; he's knocked out of the fight rest of you: all the same curse this time. Your movement feels slowed... like every part of your body is wrinkled and you have to have iron-pressed shirts to not be inhibited or something... pirates have a strange way of thinking at times. Either way, -5 on all to-hits don't worry; I won't attack you two well... not directly Beams for everyone! First, Syrup's beam ...FINALLY does something! the effect... *Badge Breaker* All badges are DISABLED for three rounds now, Elite #1's ship *SCREECH* All of your AC is reduced by 4! Elite #2... *GROWL* All STR has been reduced by 10! That means -5 to hit on STR based attacks! but first... the fire spread through the ship! *KA-BOOM.*
Digifanatic: "Holy cheese!"
Wolfman (GM): Syrup Spear's ship is DOWN!
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'm glad that thing is gone... lord..."
Gibby: "So... beautiful..."
Julian Sawyer: *Then attacks the other non-syrup ship with a flurry of punches and kicks, finishing with a haymaker (Speedbag), then apparently bursts into flames and slams into it with a tremendous uppercut (Blazin')*
Wolfman (GM): Julian lands all numbers above 15 Badges were disabled yes
Tetra shows up for the battle. "Hey, guys. Sorry for my unexplained absence before now but this looks like a job for... well, me."
Wolfman (GM): nope
Gibby: "Thanks. We'll need all the help we can get."
Wolfman (GM): most of the targeting went to the Syrup Spear
Digifanatic: "Ditto Gibby."
Tetra thinks, "Alright, some saucers and a big metal guy... looks like machines to me!" Tetra activates his EMP, hoping to knock the enemies out of the sky.
Captain Syrup: "What's that?"
Wolfman (GM): suddenly... all of the ships are acting strangely
Digifanatic: "Yes! That's what we need!"
Julian Sawyer: "Woo!"
Gibby: "Nice one."
Tetra: "I know."
Wolfman (GM): they all act up... go strangely in strange directions... knock down the throne... which was revealed to be a secret passage! then, they all collide with metal spear man.......
Julian Sawyer: "I KNEW IT!"
Wolfman (GM): then, *SUPER KABOOM.*
Digifanatic: "Oh my..."
Wolfman (GM): they all get launched out of the cave, Wl2 ending style
Tetra: "Well, that was pleasantly unexpected."
Gibby puts his gun away, and sighs.
Tetra: "Hosanna, all! Thank goodness for me!"
Digifanatic: "It's not music, but talk about your one-hit wonders... nice shot, Tetra."
Gibby notices the secret passage, and walks up to it.
Wolfman (GM): hang on guys
Gibby: *...or not.*
Wolfman (GM): you wouldn't want to go in without getting the LOADS of coins falling from above, right?
Tetra: "Of course not."
Wolfman (GM): Everyone roll FULL SPD checks! You guys are no longer cursed! Crits mean nothing here it's just a pure roll to see how many coins you guys can get going backwards... Gibby: 500 coins! Tetra: 200! Garrick: 400! Julian: 500! Digi: 380! EXP: 1500
Julian Sawyer: *LEVEL UP.*
Wolfman (GM): okay, do level ups when we get done... let's wrap this thing up... Tetra, there is no way in heck you can be that close 1500, not 15000! anyway... NOW do you wish to go down the secret passage?

Gibby heads down the passage.
Wario eventually wakes up. He follows the others.

Wolfman (GM): welcome to the dark room of Voodoo Poodooery Metal and the Elite Spear Guy #3 were fighting here... both got knocked out Metal is BARELY alive... but unconscious
Julian Sawyer: "..." *Looks for those dolls...*
Wolfman (GM): all of the dolls are there... plus one plain one.
Julian Sawyer: *Picks them up.*
Wario: "That plain one... I think it made the others."
Tetra goes to Metal? "This is nothing. I can repair him easy."
Julian Sawyer: "We'd better lock these in a vault or something when we get back..."

Gibby walks up to the dolls, and picks one up at random.
Julian Sawyer: *Currently has them all.*
Wolfman (GM): ...alright Metal: no longer unconscious but pretty darned out of it
Metal Man: "Uuuugh... my head..."
Julian Sawyer: "...So, we done here?"
Wario: "What do you plan on doing with them though?"
Tetra: "Hey... uh... human Metal?"
Metal Man: "...Wario! I see three of you!"
Julian Sawyer: "Locking them in a vault, most likely."
Metal Man: "Kario and Bario!"
Wario thinks Metal is kookie right now.
Metal Man was in human form the entire time he'd been seen; his metal form disappeared a while ago.
Wario: "Let's get outside and I can help you guys with your stuff."
Gibby: "Sounds good."
Metal Man: "Amazing... Gibby has become 13 times larger!"
Wario takes a secret passage out of the Cabbage Cave... well, not so much a secret... as it is bashing a wall.
Metal Man pokes the air above Gibby's head.
Julian Sawyer: "I can get behind an idea like that..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...let's just... go..."
Julian Sawyer: *Follows the Wario.*
Gibby: "...uhh... I think he's a little messed up in the head."
Garrick Fy`aar turns and follows the evil Mario...
Wolfman (GM): Everyone is outside right now and Tetra... wait you came at the last moment
Metal Man follows.
Wolfman (GM): while you did help the battle....
Tetra is waiting.
Wolfman (GM): I can only give you 750 EXP and not 1500 sorry
Metal Man: "Just like the old days..." @_@
Wario pulls out a cell phone.
Metal Man looks like Mario did when Mario just escaped from being a painting.
Wario starts dialing... "Mona, Jimmy, Orbulon! I suggest getting over here now!"
Wolfman (GM): *click.*
Metal Man: "I'm gonna take a nap right now..." *Collapses onto the ground, sleeping*
Wolfman (GM): ...Tetra, I'll spot you the 50.

Wolfman (GM): all that really happened... Wario and some of the Microgames crew are right now hanging out at the Stadium, Julian has the Voodoo Poodoo dolls protected, you gained 15K coins and a Money Money badge, and the Treasure Hunters TV crew is stranded on Kitchen Island.
Editor's Note: A thoroughly uninteresting Locos session occurred afterwards, but the later part actually is meaningful, so I also have Locos summarize what happened in his case here, prior to the next session. He also gives another perspective on what happened in the Captain Syrup mission, which is why this is here and not in the next log.
Charles Magellean: *I try to track down another relic of power, and instead a madman named William Kand blows himself up with it and the jewelry he tried to steal. He wonders if he was destined to fail to get it regardless of the actions he took. It was indeed an extremely powerful weapon. It nearly matched Doopliss's powers! *captain syrup and the elite spear guys, with ships, used beams to cripple the Questers, but failed in the end when Tetra used a haywire missile/projectile/whatever on one or more of them when he appeared near the end of the battle. metal had the hardest fight he ever had, though I don't know what happened. That, and many coin awards. got a heapin' amount they did.**
