Shadow: "That would be... a good question. Where do you come from?"

Charles Magellean: "I come from... a planet very close to the Earth of my time."

Shadow: "Ah... Earth... what a shame, that I may never return to that planet."

Charles Magellean: "Is it by fate, consequence, or choice?"

Shadow: "It is fate... I am destined to be tied to this planet forever. Ever since our realm merged with this one, it became unmerged from Earth's history again. Now then. You are worthy to take a chaos emerald... but the only color which I have left to give is red... an omen... I think."

Editor's Note: So close, but so far. In the future of the game, this was retconned to be that their realm was destroyed by Time Cops, and they fled to Nintendus for safety.

Charles Magellean: *Sigh* "Color of blindness and anger, I believe. Regardless, I suppose if it helps, then I will accept."

Shadow: "Be very careful... it may mean that your anger can get the better of you."

Charles Magellean: "It has."

Shadow: "I believe Knuckles had it for the longest time."

Charles Magellean: "That's comforting. If I could choose, it would be white since it represents clarity and neutrality, but this would be fate as well. Should I know anything else?"

Shadow: "Eggman has the white emerald. Ironically, he is sticking to neutrality. Of course, that could mean that he's equally against all people, but it's much better than how he used to be."

Metal Man (GM): Shadow takes out the Red emerald and gives it to you.

Charles Magellean takes it. "As much as I like to know how he escaped Phendrana, I will know another time."

Shadow: "Escaped? He came through a portal... and hasn't touched the ocean."

Charles Magellean: "Of course. The classic Mobius Robotnik. Not the one trapped in Phendrana Ocean base. Should I be aware of powers that this emerald can cause?"

Shadow: "It will manifest power when you are angry. That can be a bad thing..."

Charles Magellean: "As long as the following don't happen. I don't hear or see a Cactaur, someone does not insult my heritage, or someone preaching to me that resistance is futile. Now if you'll excuse me, I must see oak, and inquire of something else." *He goes off to the prof's laboratory?*

Metal Man (GM): You get to Oak's laboratory.

Charles Magellean knocks on door.

Professor Oak: "Come in."

Metal Man (GM): *The door opens.*

Charles Magellean: "...You're always in here when someone comes to here. Why is that?"

Professor Oak: "I am constantly at work, of course... and it's my job to sit and wait for people to come in. Pokémon science is very time-consuming."

Charles Magellean: "Ah... science. Have you finished with studying the X-Blaster?"

Professor Oak: "A long time ago, yes... I almost forgot about it. My new item of interest is... well, let me get my notes."

Metal Man (GM): *Ruffles around some papers.*

Charles Magellean: "So... where is it now? I'll listen to your new interest first though."

Professor Oak: "My new interest... is in molecule speed control."

Metal Man (GM): Oak pulls out a remote control.

Professor Oak: "Using this, I can freeze something perfectly solid, or make it turn into plasma... in seconds! The only problem is... Even when plugged into an electrical outlet, one use is guaranteed to destroy whatever is powering it, blowing out all lightbulbs in the process. I think it has to do with the superconductive materials I made it out of. As for the X-zone blaster... I believe it's laying around here somewhere."

Charles Magellean: "What did you find out about the blasta?"

Professor Oak: "It uses special properties of superconductive wires to channel energy until the object it is pointed at has a negative mass."

Charles Magellean: "...I think you're still on the notes about the molecule speed thing."

Professor Oak: "Well... uhhh... I may have misplaced all the information about the X-zone blaster... what was it about again?"

Charles Magellean: "Cup of rainbows combined with the blaster. Rainbow shots. Sends beings to the X-Zone. Destroys/dents x-zone shielding."

Professor Oak: "Oh yeah... that thing... it started beeping weirdly today. Something about... hmmm. The Void? Weird... he's dead, isn't he?"

Charles Magellean: "...He's unsealed again. Questers are fighting him. Without relics."

Professor Oak: "Woah! I better get going, then. Anything else you want?"

Charles Magellean: "...The x-blaster and cup? By the way, did you have anything modified or added to it to increase its power even more?"

Professor Oak: "Well, I found that it's fully upgraded as it is now. However, I can now repair it if it gets broken."

Metal Man (GM): Oak pulls it out of a drawer.

Professor Oak: "Here you go."

Metal Man (GM): Oak hands it to you. It's covered in dust.

Charles Magellean receives it again. he puts a couple mini hurricane blows on it so it is clean and the dust comes off. he then puts it in his briefcase. "I done here. Bob, anything we should do?"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "...The Void was destroyed while you were chatting with Oak. ...The Questers came back to HQ... in fact, they should be nearby. Sha'Fol is nearby, carrying a strange super-sword named Valcion. I leave it up to you as to what should be done."

Charles Magellean: "What class of relic is it?"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Class V."

Charles Magellean: "...An Artifact?"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Yes... ...a high class weapon... built out of the Sword of Darkness, the Sword of light, The Chaos Breaker, and the Chaos Maker. Note that it has two Swords of light and two Swords of Darkness, since the Chaos Breaker is made out of those two."

Charles Magellean: "...Let's get outta here." *He does NOT want to be on the attacked side of that kind of weapon.*

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Very well..."

Metal Man (GM): Locos: A green portal opens.

Charles Magellean enters said portal.

Metal Man (GM): *WARP* You're back home now... and you apparently weren't followed.

F.A.Y.T.H.: "The sword of Valcion is very powerful."

Charles Magellean: "Where did it come from?"

F.A.Y.T.H.: "It was Sha'Fol's original sword, when he came to Nintendus, long, long ago. The Sword broke into the Four Sword, after Sha'Fol lost it on the field of battle. It was used to seal evil gods by Link... but it eventually failed and cracked. Then, it split into three swords. The Sword of Light, The Sword of Darkness, and Chaos. Chaos soon became the Chaos Maker, as it lost all control of actually stopping Chaos. Valcion, as a result, could not be remade, except by the strange coincidence of The Void appearing... The Void merely warped in the Chaos Maker and the other swords from a variety of times on Nintendus, distorting reality, but reforming Valcion. The same act revived the seemingly dead Sha'Fol. The Void's power, this time, was Sha'Fol's own... so Sha'Fol himself is a respectable opponent."

Editor's Note: Not to be confused with the current-day origins of the Sword of Light, which have nothing to do with Sha'Fol or any of the 'Fake Solarians' of this version of SSQ 1's history.

Charles Magellean: "This may be an omen... like Shadow said."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "The Questers defeated The Void... without any relics... this means that Kuja himself may not be strong enough to be invincible anymore... With Valcion and Sha'Fol on their side, the only clouds on the horizon belong to... Doopliss and The Black Sun."

Charles Magellean: "Unless Sha`fol turns on the Questers."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "For all we know, he could re-start the events which burnt Earth black and created Neo-Earth. All it would take... is Magitek. He would save us from Kuja, yes."

Charles Magellean puts up his hand to stop. "Bob, Fayth, do either of you know where the next relic is?"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "...There is... a good answer to that... for Valcion is... well... if you could get that, it would be most prominent to our cause."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "The other Bowser necklace has been located in the depths of Death Mountain."

Charles Magellean: "I am hardly strong enough to attempt to take an artifact from the Creator of Nintendus. ...Open a portal to a stable part of that underground."

Metal Man (GM): Pause for now. Meanwhile...

Aribar has a lot to do at the stadium... That is, talk to Shadow, Sha'Fol, and shop... he asks SIMBER where Sha'Fol is at.

SIMBER: "Sha'fol is currently in a room on floor 5. The elevator is open."

Aribar: "Thank you." *He exits his room and starts towards the nearest elevator.*

Metal Man (GM): You get to the elevator.

Aribar steps inside and presses the button for the fifth floor.

Metal Man (GM): It starts going up.

Aribar hums along with the elevator music.

Metal Man (GM): It gets to floor 5, and opens. The door you want is right down the hallway.

Aribar starts toward that door. He knocks on the door once there.

Metal Man (GM): It opens... revealing Sha'Fol, who is currently looking at his sword, Valcion.

Sha'Fol: "Thousands of years have passed... but my sword looks brand new."

Aribar: "'allo, Mr. Sha'Fol... May I come in?"

Sha'Fol: "Yes."

Aribar steps inside the room. "I was just wondering... Do you happen to have a diary of the Void's brother, Doopliss?"

Sha'Fol: "It is only a trinket. And... I am afraid I cannot give it to you."

Aribar: "Any reason?"

Sha'Fol: "I have read it... and I cannot get rid of it because of that. Dark secrets abound... very bad things, indeed."

Aribar: .oO(Well, there goes a promise to Doopliss...) "...How much would information about Doopliss's weaknesses cost me?"

Sha'Fol: "If I told you, you would die. You are fickle. You must learn his weakness by studying him. You may already know it, but merely forgot due to your own lack of attention."

Aribar: "Possibly..." .oO(I am fifteen and pretty much senile I think) "Well... Since I cannot get the easy way out, I must now commit suicide... Thanks." *The elf exits the room and asks SIMBER where Shadow the Hedgehog is.*

Sha'Fol: "Say hello to my buddies on the other side for me!"

SIMBER: "Stadium cafeteria."

Aribar: "...Can you write up a quick will for me stating that everything I own goes to the Stadium? Just in case I don't make it though this alive..." *The elf starts towards the cafeteria.*

SIMBER: "...Affirmative."

Aribar: "Oh, and that is if I permanently die... Not just get knocked out in combat..."

SIMBER: "Affirmative."

Aribar reaches the cafeteria and looks about for a certain black-and-red-striped hedgehog.

Metal Man (GM): You see Shadow, at a table.

Aribar walks over and sits down. " 'allo, Shadow..."

Shadow: "Hmmm?"

Aribar drops down to a whisper... "You know how the Questers recently fought the Void?"

Shadow: "Charles L. Magellean told me."

Aribar: "He's back? Hrm... Anyways... I had to use a certain yellow gem during the fight while the Questers were about... I think most of them forgot about that, though... Do you think that may become a problem for some reason?"

Shadow: "I doubt they cared, while in the face of that... thing... which... destroyed all of Eisnaught. Charles L. Magellean came to get an emerald. I gave him the one I had been saving for him. So... unless Charles becomes greedy and wants yours, I see no problems."

Aribar: "...So you aren't angry at me and don't want to kill me?"

Shadow: "I am angry that you think I would be so impulsive. But I find no reason to kill you for using an emerald to help defeat such a monster."

Aribar: "...Oh..." *The elf can't keep in a relieving sigh... He thought he'd have to run halfway across Nintendus to escape Shadow.* "Well... Umm... Sorry about that... I must be going!" *He starts towards the shops now, done with his major errands.*

Metal Man (GM): That you do.

Aribar decides to sidetrack back to his room... He can buy stuff later.

Metal Man (GM): Welp. This may not be a mission, but it's plot event time! Everyone around would notice/be able to see the phenomenon which is occurring starting... now. TVs would begin flickering. The ground would shake a couple times. Anyone with electronic communications devices would pick up a wide-band transmission from near Eisnaught. Soon, a single image/sound could be heard echoing, throughout telephones, TV screens, sensors... you name it.

Julian Sawyer: *Is in the R&R, watching the TV, when the thing starts happening.*

Aribar stops, looking about. "What the...?"

Kuja Tribal: "It is time that the Axiom of Balance begin the conquest of Nintendus!"

Julian Sawyer: "...Huh?"

Charles Magellean: "...Ricky, tune in on what's happening."

Kuja Tribal: "The Void has distracted the Questers long enough... for the launch of the Dark Squadron!"

Ricky: "Affirmative." *The screen would show Kuja, like all the screens and communications on Nintendus.*

Julian Sawyer: "This can't be good... Dark Squadron?"

Kuja Tribal: "The destruction of Eisnaught was a minor price to pay... for my my army to rise!"

Metal Man (GM): The image now shows a nearly endless armada of black battleships, all in various designs and types. They're flying... straight towards Quester HQ.

Kuja Tribal: "It is time that the Questers are completely destroyed! No one shall defy my will and live!"

Aribar: "...Piffle."

Metal Man (GM): The ships open fire on the ground as they go... absolutely blowing it to bits.

Kuja Tribal: "None shall stop us now... it would take 15 million Questers to destroy all of these ships! All who oppose me will die like the Questers will!"

Metal Man (GM): He then points at the Lon Lon Ranch, which is along the way, on a map. The minute he points at it... the ships blow it sky-high. It's completely obliterated.

Kuja Tribal: "Nothing can stop me... and nobody shall get in the way!"

Julian Sawyer: "...HOLY CRAP!"

SIMBER: "Defcon 5 alert. Incoming enemy fleet."

Aribar: "I hope this is a VERY, VERY, VERY convincing hologram."

SIMBER: "All defenses have been activated. All personnel are to go into the bunkers."

Julian Sawyer: "TO THE BUNKERS!" *Julian shouts to no one in particular as he flees.*

Metal Man (GM): There's several staircases. Various people are running to them, taking with them important stuff.

Charles Magellean: "All we can do is watch. On the bright side, at least we aren't in the middle of this war."

Kuja Tribal: "The Axiom of Balance shall destroy the imperfect dictators of this world... and create a new, perfect world!"

Metal Man (GM): Some intentionally badly aimed shots hit areas near the stadium, causing an absolute Earthquake and explosions.

SIMBER: "Defcon 1. Enemy has come in range."

Metal Man (GM): The entire Stadium is surrounded by a metal Dome.

Aribar dashes to his room to get some supplies and heads to the bunkers.

Metal Man (GM): It then sinks underground... and another metal plate goes over it. Then, a dome-shaped force field goes on top of that. The area inside the two fields is rapidly filled with a ton of defense turrets and sensors.

Kuja Tribal: "With my triumphant words... I hereby sanction... TOTAL WAR ON THE QUESTERS!"

Metal Man (GM): The ships come completely into range, and open fire. The shield is being blown away. It can't hold for long. A few ships are destroyed, and some others are hit by psychic projectiles... but there's too many! ...The Black Sun appears, releasing its own wide-band transmission.

Doopliss: "I cannot let you destroy the Questers. Black Sun... open fire!"

Kuja Tribal: "A mere fly... all ships... shoot that thing down!"

Metal Man (GM): Doopliss's ship mows down a path towards the main ship of Kuja's fleet... but is blasted millions of times by lasers. It is forced to retreat, on fire in several sections, with many blown-out compartments.

Doopliss: "...Grrr... if only we had the numbers to take on this fleet! I'll get you eventually!"

Kuja Tribal: "You are lucky that your ship is valuable... otherwise, I would have destroyed it personally. Recommence firing on Quester HQ!"

Julian Sawyer: "We're all gonna die, aren't we?" *Julian asks Aribar as they get to the bunkers.*

Metal Man (GM): The firing continues. Meanwhile, down in the HQ, things are just getting blown around by the shaking. Gauges are breaking, and power is going down rapidly.

Aribar: "Possibly."

SIMBER: "Shields are at 35%. Power Cores are overheating."

Aribar: "...We just... Need to remain calm. SIMBER, is there anything my magic can do to help? I could possibly cool down the Cores."

SIMBER: "The Chaos Emerald... quickly! Attach that to the power systems!"

Charles Magellean: "Are there chances that some of the ships would attack here as well?"

Metal Man (GM): A slot for the Chaos Emerald opens out of a wall.

Aribar dashes to the slot and sticks in the yellow emerald.

Ricky: "No chance, as of yet. They're set to take out the Questers."

Julian Sawyer: "Hope that works..."

Metal Man (GM): The Quester HQ shield glows yellow...

SIMBER: "Shields are at 50% and falling."

Kuja Tribal: "Not even a chaos emerald can stop me! Increase firing rate!"

Julian Sawyer: "Guess not."

Metal Man (GM): The laser, missile, bullet, rocket, explosive, and even kamikaze attacks on the shield heighten.

Charles Magellean: "Bob, set camera angle from outside bunker area to camera four to see both the ships and the stadium."

Metal Man (GM): The camera changes for Locos, showing both a gigantic cloud of black ships, surrounding and menacing a shield dome over an entirely metal wall that is hiding the Stadium underground. The shield is now green and yellow.

SIMBER: "Shields are holding at 50%, with Shadow's emerald. However, the generators won't hold for long, even with that much power."

Kuja Tribal: "Two Chaos emeralds? Only two? I'm insulted. Full power it is!"

Metal Man (GM): Gigantic capital ship lasers begin slamming into the force field.

SIMBER: "There is no logical way to deal with these ships. There are too many... even killing Kuja would not stop them. We are outnumbered. Thousands of times over. The Black Sun's attack merely delayed their inevitable full attack."

Julian Sawyer: "Don't we have any more emeralds or items that provide mass amounts of power?!"

SIMBER: "Unfortunately, that problem is no longer fixable. The generators themselves will break, if this keeps up."

Julian Sawyer: "So we're all gonna die?"

SIMBER: "No. However, it is best if we protect the Stadium as long as possible."

Aribar: "How?!"

Julian Sawyer: "And how long is that?"

SIMBER: "We have two to three more lines of defense."

Charles Magellean takes out of his briefcase the X-Blaster. He then takes out some wires to where the warp gate conduit is. He makes some compatibility changes to the small device and the portal.

SIMBER: "Not counting the one they're attacking."

Julian Sawyer: "So we're just supposed to stay down here and try not to have a panic attack? Or is there anything we can do?"

SIMBER: "It is estimated that we could last three days, and exhaust most of their fleet before having to flee. Wait until they breach our defenses, then we fight them personally."

Julian Sawyer: "...So what do we do in the meantime?"

SIMBER: "Play cards? A plan is being formulated."

Charles Magellean takes out the Red Chaos Emerald and places it in the Rainbow Cup.

SIMBER: "But it is not ready yet."

Charles Magellean: "Hand me the pliers, some scissors, and some duct tape."

Ricky: "Sure thing, Charles." *Hands Charles the pliers, scissors, and duct tape.*

Charles Magellean: "Cut off here... ...snip lightly halfway... duct tape to the blaster..."

Kuja Tribal: "I'm enjoying this... a slow and tedious path to destruction... the Questers will lose their minds long before their minds are destroyed."

Ricky: "Yes sir." *Does as Charles says.*

Julian Sawyer: "...So, you got any cards, Ari?"

Aribar: "...Nope. I could cast Illusion for some cards, but we could only play for 30 seconds then..."

Charles Magellean does the finishing touches. "It's our turn now."

Julian Sawyer: "...Charades?"

Charles Magellean sits at the console of the modified portal.

Ricky: "I hope this works..."

Charles Magellean: "It has to. The only things that are upgrading the blaster's power is the cup and the emerald. Now... power up the generators!"

F.A.Y.T.H.: "Generators are at full power."

Charles Magellean: "Cross-reference third link matrices to cooling units."

Aribar: "Eeh... I think we should just get some sleep before we have to do something."

Editor's Note: Yeah, no big deal, just a trillion lasers trying to kill everyone... time for a nap.

Charles Magellean: "Bob, you have the console."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "Operation completed."

Charles Magellean gets up from the seat. "Ricky, can you handle power fluctuations?"

Ricky: "No problem."

Charles Magellean: "Fayth, use your power of faith to weaken the ships when the portals get close to them."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "I will use full power to do so. Though this is an uncharted use... on a planet that Kuja has sway over. Ready on your mark."

Charles Magellean: "We will open powerful X-Zone trap portals, which are different from ordinary portals, to as many ships as we can target. ...FIRE!"

F.A.Y.T.H.: "Faith engine engaged."

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Portals have been opened on Nintendus."

Ricky: "All energy fluctuations have been negated!"

Metal Man (GM): Bah.

F.A.Y.T.H.: "Faith engine engaged."

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Portals have been opened on Nintendus."

Ricky: "All energy fluctuations have been negated!"

Metal Man (GM): The screen shows various portals opening... damaging ships, shutting down others. The ships all lose power, and fall onto the ground.

Ricky: "...We did it... they're done for!"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "I am seeing no readings of energy whatsoever..."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "It appears to have worked..."

Charles Magellean: "Keep your guard up. Kuja always has a backup."

Metal Man (GM): *Star Fox 64: Sector X boss Part II.*

Kuja Tribal: "Ha ha ha ha! Did you think that could stop me! All ships, reactivate!"

Metal Man (GM): The ships... they just float back up into the air... ...now they're firing into the portals!

Kuja Tribal: "Die, Charles L. Magellean... DIE!"

Metal Man (GM): White streamers of light begin flying into the portals... from Kuja's main ship.

F.A.Y.T.H.: "Massive damage to reactors!"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "These attacks are coming in from everywhere!"

Charles Magellean: "Shut down the portals."

Metal Man (GM): Various explosions occur in the base, as well as around the moon. *BOOM.*

Ricky: "...That explosion just did it for us."

Metal Man (GM): All the main lights go down, and only the backup ones are up. The ships on the screen then continue to fire upon Quester HQ.

Charles Magellean: "What systems were damaged?"

F.A.Y.T.H.: "...I have discovered why we failed."

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Damage reports are still being totaled up."

Charles Magellean: "Report!"

F.A.Y.T.H.: "...Kuja has enough faith in that realm to challenge our own. Anything sent in that realm can be destroyed much like we defeated his ships here."

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Main power reactors have been destroyed. Computer Core B has exploded. 300 people died from various fires."

Charles Magellean curses in Lunarian tongue.

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Life Support is holding at 80%, and we lost several backup reactors to boot. That is all."

Charles Magellean: "Aran-kayn kern san rapan! Enatayamo waazgeh gaq nuurro!" *He blood rises when he curses. He slightly gains composure as he can only watch.*

Metal Man (GM): The emerald glows....

F.A.Y.T.H.: "...The emerald is starting to react with the machine!"

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "...Unauthorized portal has been opened."

Metal Man (GM): You see... a red beam appear.

Charles Magellean: "WHAT!?"

Kuja Tribal: "What is this? Impossible!"

Metal Man (GM): The red beam then impales Kuja's capital ship... causing massive damage to it.

Charles Magellean: "Take that, nawuvi!"

Kuja Tribal: "Gahhhhh!!! Damage to engines! Damage to..." *The comms thing blinks out. It destroyed his transmitter.*

Metal Man (GM): The beam disappears... but Kuja's capital ship now has a bus-diameter hole in its entire engineering block.

F.A.Y.T.H.: "The emerald has returned to normal."

Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "It appears the emerald is powered up by hatred..."

Charles Magellean: "True. It's just I can't flare up easily. That's why it had so much power. NOW we can only watch."

F.A.Y.T.H.: "We bought them approximately 3 more hours of time... the destruction caused has limited their offensive capability."

Charles Magellean thinks at the mere thought of Zemus. Not even a cactaur can compare to the anguish he has caused Charles.

Wolfman will have Wolfman at R&R, and VG near G&W's for eventual shopping.

Aribar would be shopping, but he is waiting for a new item to be put up...

Wolfman: *all around HQ, there are signs for the new items... including:*

Wolfman's Sign: "Get the new Bazooze-kas today!"

Digifanatic is in Oak's lab, just needing to ask a question.

Professor Oak: "Hello, Digi. What can I do for you?"

Digifanatic: "Hello Professor. I have a question about an item that I have." *He pulls out his Fire Tunic. * "Now, I know this protects in volcanic regions, but is it true that these prevent damage from standard Fire-based attacks as well?"

Professor Oak: "That is an interesting item you have there. What about it?"

Digifanatic: "Well, I was just curious if this protects from fire damage acquired from attacks."

Wolfman: *VG: will buy items soon; talking to someone about homework first.*

Digifanatic: "That's all I need to know."

Professor Oak: "It appears that it would need further enhancements to do that. All it does is prevent the temperature of one's body from rising beyond acceptable numbers... but it is unable to prevent fire from doing that."

Digifanatic: "Ah. Okay. Thank you. I might ask Game and Watch about an upgrade about it. If it's possible, of course. But thanks, anyways." *He leaves the room, and next to his. He put his spellbook away for now.*

Metal Man (GM): So then... who do we have here who's ready to do a possible mission?

Digifanatic then goes to G&W.

Digifanatic hands G&W his 3500 coins. "And one question..."

Mr. Game and Watch: "Yes?"

Digifanatic brings his Fire Tunic back out. "I doubt it, but is it possible to upgrade its defensive abilities?"

Mr. Game and Watch: "So then, what is your question?"

Digifanatic: "Is it possible to upgrade the defensive capabilities to my Fire Tunic? With money, of course."

Mr. Game and Watch: "Hmmm... I have never had this question before... This is a very unique item. I don't think I can upgrade it without some instructions."

Digifanatic: "Well, I'm just curious if it's possible. I might sell it if you can't."

Mr. Game and Watch: "I cannot do so without instructions."

Digifanatic: "Okay then... where might one find these instructions, if at all?"

Mr. Game and Watch: "I don't know that, either... the situation above is not very inspiring."

Digifanatic: "Okay, I see... Well, I'll keep it in my room for now." *He pays for one more X Accuracy to bring his free total available to 3 spares, pays the coins, and heads back to his room. He leaves his Tunic away in his clothes drawer, with all of his other crazy shirts...*

VG: *Is ready to buy.*

Metal Man (GM): VG can buy as he wants, now.

VG goes to G&W's to buy 1 Protein, 4 Star Eggs, 2 Red Essences, 1 Sub Tank w/full energy, 2 Guardian Acorns, 2 Rush Promoters, 2 Super Plush Bears, and 5 Super Sneakers... all for the low price of 27368 coins. He FINALLY has an amount of coins that ends in 0 He already bought 5 Bazooze-kas earlier... he wants to give those a shot.

Metal Man (GM): Let's start. Everybody is at HQ... which is now underground. Above, one can hear the merciless attacking of Kuja.

Garrick Fy`aar is currently in Oak's lab, using his tools... he hasn't stopped planning and building since the stadium went underground...

Aribar is just trying to relax in the R&R...

Digifanatic right now is just hanging around R&R... the one thing he might have overlooked are the rings, but he's not really that concerned.

Metal Man (GM): The TV is currently covering important events.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...calibration... point-four-two-zero... right. *Tool sounds*..."

Reporter: "The capital of Dr. Ivan's utopia has been officially hidden, somewhere in a mountain area. Reports say that a top-secret project to rid the world of Kuja has begun. Furthermore, Kuja's ceaseless attempts to destroy the Questers appear to be failing... but if nothing is done soon, they might just be toasted!"

Garrick Fy`aar listens to this on the radio... "Riiight..."

Reporter: "We also have a live interview with Doopliss, the one who failed to save the Questers. Here are his comments."

Digifanatic tries keeping a groan of sorts a bit quietly, trying to keep his thoughts to himself...

Doopliss: "It's nice to talk to you, slick. I don't get on the media very often."

Reporter: "What is the Black Sun?"

Doopliss: "The old Valhalla fortress, turned into a black, spheroid machine, that often looks like a sun. Especially with the force fields up."

Reporter: "Do you have any crew?"

Doopliss: "Not really. There's a robot named Kappa who seems to man the defenses, but he says he just wants to be left alone."

Garrick Fy`aar: "..."

Reporter: "Why did you betray Kuja?"

Garrick Fy`aar looks up at that... then shakes his head and returns to his work...

Doopliss: "I did so because I planned to, all along. By joining up with him, I was able to steal many of his plans. I have sent those to Ivan."

Reporter: "Do you know anything about Dr. Ivo Robotnik? He's been seen, flying around the world in some sort of battleship."

Aribar mumbles, "Once a traitor, always a traitor."

Doopliss: "Nothing specific. I paid him a lot of money to attack Eisnaught. After doing what I paid him to do, he went out... oh, yes. He told me that he will work for anyone... if they have enough cash."

Digifanatic: "Well, this certainly is odd..."

Reporter: "And there you have it, folks. Dr. Ivo Robotnik working as a mercenary, Dr. Ivan hiding out in the mountains, and Kuja attacking the Questers. This is Irene Wright, signing out for the Doughnut City 6:00 news."

Metal Man (GM): The TV is now playing commercials.

Metal Man walks in, yawning. "So then, Aribar, anything new? Being cooped up down here has made me sleepy."

Garrick Fy`aar steps in behind Metal, pushing a pair of safety goggles up onto his head.

Digifanatic: "Hey guys."

Aribar: "Nothing much, really..."

Metal Man: "...I knew TV was bad for you, but is it really that dangerous?"

Aribar: "Oh! There's a 20% sale on all items at Toad-Mart!" *Turns up the volume on the TV.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "Toad-Mart... pfft." *He folds his arms over his chest.*

Metal Man: "Last time I went in one of those, Doopliss lead us on a wild car chase!"

Aribar: "...Oh, come on, don't you want to buy your groceries in the same place you buy your clothing?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "I listened to the report on the radio. The bit of info about Ivo seemed interesting..."

Metal Man: "Yes... he has been... rather strange. Keeping to himself, they say."

Digifanatic: "Yeah..."

Metal Man: "Not much like how he used to be."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...what's the next move, Metal? I'll tell you this now, I'm NOT staying down here while Kuja goes nuts topside."

Metal Man: "I... don't know." *Looks down* "Kuja seems to have made an iron-clad plan."

Garrick Fy`aar: "No plan is iron-clad."

Metal Man: "If we attack directly, it's suicide."

Digifanatic: "Why, Garrick?"

Metal Man: "If we stay here, it's suicide."

Aribar: "Can we warp out of here?"

Metal Man: "If we go anywhere else, he'll blow this place up anyway."

Digifanatic: "Yeah. Probably win-win for Kuja."

Metal Man: "Or even worse, copy our technology, and use it to instantly warp anywhere he pleases. And his plan is iron-clad. That doesn't mean it's unstoppable... just... tough. What we need... is some way to hit him from behind. But where? His so-called head base was vaporized by The Void."

Digifanatic: "That's the problem."

Garrick Fy`aar: "..." *He scratches his chin...*

Digifanatic: "Got an idea?"

Metal Man: "It's almost as if he needs no base."

Metal Man (GM): Shadow walks in.

Shadow: "The Void was Gerald Robotnik... and Gerald was working for Kuja."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...it just seems... that we're seeing a lot of previously found stuff. What do you mean, the Void was Gerald Robotnik?"

Digifanatic: "Oh, I know what you mean."

Metal Man: "Didn't you hear? The Void said it himself... after morphing from his Gerald Robotnik form into his true self. Matek was also killed in that fight, ending his chances to destroy everything."

Digifanatic: "Before you came in to help us fight, a screen turned on and Gerald was making comment about how the world would his again or something."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Right..."

Shadow: "Gerald hated Kuja, as we saw."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...on a screen?"

Metal Man: "He was an A.I. The real Gerald died 50 years ago in another dimension."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Hmm... This whole dimension stuff... I refuse to believe that someone out there DIDN'T defeat Kuja."

Metal Man: "Even so... Kuja's home dimension was destroyed. All of the remains have already come here, and become one with this world."

Shadow: "Much like Mobius."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...then could it be possible that some record of Kuja's prior actions lay SOMEWHERE on Nintendus?"

Metal Man: "There isn't much left. No sentient beings exist from that realm besides Kuja, it seems."

Shadow: "Only Kuja would know. Only his databases could have it. Being one who manipulates the fabric of reality, I can tell that his past is a tightly-held secret."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...then let's get that information."

Metal Man: "Very much so... and his grudge against us was unfounded in the first place."

Shadow: "But... we must find a facility which would have this. For you see, Kuja's fleet of ships is the only place I know of..."

Metal Man: "...Or that satellite... which was lost in time. Forever."

Digifanatic: "Yup... we're stuck."

Metal Man: "Kuja got rid of it in a way much like he destroyed his own dimension, I'm afraid."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...there's a way around this... I KNOW there is..."

Shadow: "Something deep inside of me is trying to mention Gerald... he has something to do with this, maybe?"

Metal Man: "Gerald, being a mindless destroyer, would have sought the ability that Kuja had... to destroy Dimensions."

Garrick Fy`aar: "If he hated Kuja, then why did he attack us?"

Digifanatic: "Hmm... maybe Gerald's soul has the strange abilities to enter anything he wants to."

Shadow: "He wanted to destroy everything. And he gave the Questers a choice of whether to fight or not."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I doubt it."

Shadow: "They chose to fight him."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...I wonder..." *He leans against a nearby wall, thinking...* "...Gerald was close to Kuja, right?"

Metal Man: "The top of his research and development wing."

Shadow: "He fed on Kuja's need to destroy people and things."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Then Gerald would most likely have access to Kuja's computer databases."

Metal Man: "Most likely... since he may have even programmed them himself."

Garrick Fy`aar: "If he was looking for a way to destroy dimensions like Kuja, then wouldn't he have kept his findings logged. On a private server that Kuja couldn't get into?"

Shadow: "But where is there to look? That tower exploded..."

Metal Man: "The only place left to look is where we last saw him. His old base was reformatted by internal systems before Nova could see anything."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I got in there..."

Shadow: "Done so to show that he gave it over in good will, most likely..."

Metal Man: "...?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "Yeah... I had to go to Gerald's old base to reboot Nova."

Metal Man: "Did you backup any files?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "I'm pretty sure my Dex or Nova still has the warp logs. Well, if the module was hooked up to Gerald's systems, then Nova would have access to it."

Shadow: "But all that information was deleted before the computers booted up Nova. Whatever you have, could have a high possibility of being encrypted or password protected."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...he scanned me..." *He suddenly remembers back to his first encounter with Gerald...*

Metal Man: "So then, he has your data. Could this mean something?"

Shadow: "He is a remarkable geneticist."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...a clone?"

Shadow: "No... he's beyond that. Look at me. An improved Sonic... made 50 years before the hedgehog in question showed himself. He can create the creatures of the future... in the present."

Garrick Fy`aar: "He didn't just scan me, he practically stole everything out of me. Weapons knowledge, database codes, Nova's systems... memories..." *He mutters something under his breath...*

Metal Man: "There is... one other problem."

Shadow: "...?"

Digifanatic: "Oh man..."

Metal Man: "We run a risk of reactivating him... whenever we touch his files."

Digifanatic: "I can only imagine what could happen... Uggh."

Metal Man: "Even if he isn't able to use The Void form... as long as a single file of his exists, he could be revived infinite times."

Editor's Note: Wait, I thought we just said nothing related to him could show up again. I guess even past me wasn't interested in perma-death for The Void.

Shadow: "That is true. Merely activating the Eclipse Cannon revived his A.I., which almost destroyed Earth. I was subconsciously programmed to make it happen."

Garrick Fy`aar: "But if we get rid of his files, then all knowledge possible that might hold the key to defeating Kuja would be lost. And I don't trust a EMP bomb to delete everything of his."

Metal Man: "Either way, the only way to be sure is to see his files, first-hand."

Digifanatic: "Well, we have to control it then..."

Metal Man: "The only place to look is where we last saw him... the city of Atlantis."

Shadow: "...Hmmm... just saying that has unlocked some of my old memories... I can see it now. ...He was a Marician... the people who built Atlantis."

Digifanatic: "We have to look at the files and somehow be able to do what we need to do without disturbing them and, theoretically, revive Gerald..."

Shadow: "Perhaps he knew how to use their computers."

Metal Man: "They had COMPUTERS?!?!"

Shadow: "It is the reason the Robotnik family has been 50 years ahead of time all along. They were primitive, but he could have retrofitted them."

Metal Man: "Then it is agreed. We go to Atlantis."

Sha'Fol: "One quick second there, people."

Garrick Fy`aar is silent...

Digifanatic: "...How in the world could they develop computers when that sort of technology hadn't been THOUGHT of yet otherwise?! That Atlantis must have had some amazing people..."

Sha'Fol: "You make a good question. However, I was the last one to see Atlantis. On the last days of Neo-Earth. ...Earth, sorry."

Garrick Fy`aar looked up to Sha'Fol...

Sha'Fol: "Our destruction uncovered it... and it was what we created our final Magitek weapon off of."

Digifanatic: "The last days of Earth..."

Sha'Fol: "It disappeared shortly before the Earth known by some of you was destroyed."

Aribar: "Hrm..."

Digifanatic: "And what is that weapon?"

Sha'Fol: "Be careful! It has the key to some of the deadliest weapons in the universe! ...The Supernova Effect."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...I don't give a rat's ass if holds the key to Metal's gym locker." *He growls. What got him all angry all of the sudden?*

Sha'Fol: "This effect instantly engulfs the targeted area with intense heat and solar energy. Their version only hit one person."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Then we'll be careful."

Digifanatic: "Making sense now... I have an idea."

Sha'Fol: "We foolishly powered it up... and it destroyed all of Earth instead."

Digifanatic: "Can I speak for a sec?"

Sha'Fol: "I am finished with my speech."

Digifanatic: "Never mind. What I was going to say. With the whole powering-up and everything..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...like I said, we'll be careful. Let's go."

Shadow: "So... it has all come together. He was going to use the power of Atlantis to destroy existence. Right."

Garrick Fy`aar leaves it at that. He's out the door, heading for the warp room...

Metal Man: "I shall stay here, to make sure Kuja doesn't blow everything up while you're gone."

Digifanatic: "And become the supreme civilization." *He follows Garrick...*

Aribar follows Garrick.

Metal Man (GM): A warp is open. A bluish one... just a portal, this time.

Garrick Fy`aar walks straight in, his clothes disappearing and his usual battle armor now adorning his body. His guns look awful nasty...

Digifanatic: "Well, this is almost insane now... but we gotta do this for being our only hope."

Aribar follows.

Digifanatic heads through.

Metal Man (GM): *Warp* *Warp* *Warp* http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sony/ps1/ff7ancie.mid You appear on the edge of Atlantis.

Digifanatic: "Well, here we are... good luck guys."

Metal Man (GM): You see a 5-foot concrete wall behind you... the newly made moat moves like the Ocean behind it.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...right. Let's get moving."

Metal Man (GM): The city is built like a wheel... you're looking in through a 'spoke', or street. There's tons of buildings, which get progressively taller as you reach the center.

Garrick Fy`aar starts off walking toward the center of the city.

Metal Man (GM): Signs are about, written in an odd language.

Digifanatic: "Well, this is an interesting arrangement..." *He says as he follows Garrick.*

Aribar hrms and just follows Garrick while taking in the sights.

Metal Man (GM): You walk. Your heels make a clicking noise as they move across the stone floor.

Aribar: "It is defensive... People can shoot from the rooftops of the buildings without worrying about hitting their comrades."

Metal Man (GM): The buildings are all blue, with darker blue pathways, most of which look like wires.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...it was built for invasion..."

Metal Man (GM): All of the 'wires' are dead. No power appears to be going through them. The writing is also made the same way as these wires... none of it glows, either. A sea wind can be felt... it's like you're near the Ocean, not in a desert.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Dex... can you get a translation on these writings?"

Smash Dex: "Hexographic processes online. ...The writings cannot be read while unpowered. Every sign says that."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Right..."

Metal Man (GM): Then, you see an odd sight. A single building that has glowing wires on it. The sign... it shows a weird language... but then translates for you to understand... automatically!

Digifanatic: "Power plant?"

Metal Man (GM): It says... 'Museum'

Digifanatic: "Oh... okay..."

Metal Man (GM): The door is also powered. It opens automatically for you as you walk near it.

Digifanatic: "Kinda weird, but it's worth a check."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Stay frosty..." *He draws the M150 from his leg holster, moving slowing inside the building...*

Digifanatic follows a bit on the cautious side as well.

Aribar goes to follow but doesn't take out any weapons.

Metal Man (GM): Inside, you see a three-story tower. You're on floor 1. There's an elevator in the middle. At each corner in the room, are four swords. They're holograms. 'The Sword of Light The Sword of Darkness The Sword of Law The Sword of Chaos' Each one has writing underneath it, which you can read.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...they knew of the swords..."

Aribar goes over to the Sword of Darkness's hologram and reads.

Garrick Fy`aar does the same, only for the Sword of Law.

Metal Man (GM): 'The Sword of Darkness, one of these four, was made by an evil King. He used it to destroy the ancient city of Ghand, and the effects were so powerful, it is predicted that the island of Krakatoa in the future will... explode. The One took it from this King, killing him with it.'

Metal Man: "The Sword of Law, made to control an unruly town, becomes stronger for every person it kills. However, it became needed to manage the Marician civilization as a whole. The One peacefully was granted it, as a gift, from his soon-to-be-wife."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...the One?" *He glances back to Ari* "You held the Sword of Darkness for a time. Who's this 'One' person?"

Digifanatic: "Kinda suspicious that they kept The One's identity anonymous."

Aribar: "No idea."

Digifanatic reads the Sword of Chaos' inscription.

Garrick Fy`aar goes over and reads the Sword of Light...

Aribar: "It may have been whatever the intelligent force that resided in the Sword was, though..."

Digifanatic: "It's possible."

Metal Man (GM): 'The Sword of Chaos, created to utterly annihilate everything with sheer madness, was never wielded. It was made by an expert weaponsmith, who lost it. The One found the sword, and with it, showed that he was the true leader of our people.'

Digifanatic: "This sounds like Gerald might be 'The One'."

Metal Man (GM): 'The Sword of Light, created to repair the darkness of its opposite, was used to save the people of Ghand. This was The One's sword of choice, and he made it himself, copying from The Sword of Darkness. The two swords are rumored to be attracted to one another.' There's an elevator in the middle of the room, if you want to try that out. There's two more floors of 'history'

Digifanatic: "Probably not... but then again, the way he acted as The Void... ya never know." *He heads up to the next floor.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "...hmm." *He follows Digi...*

Metal Man (GM): On the next floor... is a hologram of Valcion, and various informational bits. 'Valcion - The Sword of Everything'

Digifanatic: "And this looks like the sum of the parts."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...big sword." *He decides to read this sucker's description for himself...*

Metal Man: "This holy sword was called forth to destroy a demon named The Void. The One destroyed The Void with with the sheer psionic energy of all four swords. It now rests, sealed away, in a great, hidden temple, for fear that it will destroy everything if misused."

Aribar: "I believe Sha'Fol possesses that sword."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Then Sha'Fol could be this 'One' they keep talking about..."

Digifanatic: "Well, I change my vote to him."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Let's check out the last floor..." *He heads upwards again...*

Metal Man (GM): You go up... to the final floor.

Digifanatic: "So then, what cause the Void to come back in what would have been our first encounter?"

Metal Man (GM): 'The Ultimate Energy Crystal This crystal powers this immortal shrine. Unlike all others, it will last for all eternity. Due to this... you may be reading this thousands of years from now. We greet visitors from the future.'

Digifanatic: "Hmm... that might explain it."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Heh... wish we could ask some questions..."

Metal Man (GM): 'Use this to explore other buildings, if you dare.' It's a circular rock, blue, which glows.

Digifanatic: "When Atlantis was first destroyed, all the other crystals were as well, but this kept the city 'up"

Metal Man (GM): It's sitting in a pedestal.

Digifanatic: "..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...hmm... Dex, can you give me a map of the city?"

Smash Dex: "Sure."

Metal Man (GM): It shows a large, wheel-shaped layout.

Aribar hrms... "I wonder if there are any traps surrounding it?"

Metal Man (GM): There's a gigantic building in the center... where all the major stuff much be housed. It's nicknamed 'The Hub' ...The wall you saw earlier is called 'The Rim', and the water is called 'The Tire'

Garrick Fy`aar: "...if there is records for something around here, it'll be there... but lets see what else Atlantis has to offer... Dex, is there anything like an armory around the city?"

Aribar: "It being that crystal."

Smash Dex: "Unknown. All writings but the ones in here are dead. The Hub is likely to be where the major infrastructure is located."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...then we know where to go." *He hesitates... then reaches out and tries to take the crystal.*

Metal Man (GM): You take the crystal. The elevator immediately goes down to the first floor. The wires and writings in the building begin fading. The holograms themselves disintegrate.

Digifanatic: "Well, then."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Back inside, quick."

Digifanatic does so.

Garrick Fy`aar jumps back into the elevator before it makes it out of the third floor.

Aribar follows.

Metal Man (GM): The elevator is dead. You're on the first floor. You may leave through the door, of course.

Aribar: "Perhaps we can use that crystal to power the Stadium's shielding when we're done here?"

Digifanatic: "Makes sense."

Garrick Fy`aar: "It'd be a good idea. Or give Nova enough power to help us take on Kuja."

Digifanatic: "That too."

Garrick Fy`aar places the crystal in his Null Space Sheath and starts out of the building.

Metal Man (GM): The building is no longer lit up... but as usual, the path to The Hub is open.

Garrick Fy`aar starts for this Hub, quiet now....

Digifanatic starts walking out as well.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...guys..."

Digifanatic: "Yeah?"

Metal Man (GM): You're halfway-to the hub. brb one second. Gotta start a pizza.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...if there IS some sorta clone of me out there... that Gerald made... let me take care of it."

Digifanatic: "Alright."

Metal Man (GM): You're now at the front door of The Hub... which is closed. There's some sort of blue panel next to it.

Aribar: "Hrm..." *He looks intently at the panel.*

Metal Man (GM): It's perfectly blue, and glass-like.

Aribar looks at the door... Any handles or anything?"

Metal Man (GM): No handles. The blue, crystal-like panel reminds you of that crystal from earlier.

Aribar hrms and touches the panel.

Garrick Fy`aar puts the crystal up against the panel.

Metal Man (GM): It feels... jello-like to the touch. Your finger actually goes through it. The crystal and the panel glow, and the door opens.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Simple." *He heads through the door, his M150 drawn again and ready...*

Metal Man (GM): Here, you see... a round, ever turning hallway, that runs in a circle, with 10 doors, all evenly spaced... and 10 switches.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...well... take a pic." *He looks around at the ten doors...* "...take your pick, Ari..."

Aribar: "Hrm... First one."

Garrick Fy`aar walks up to the first door, pressing the crystal against the switch...

Aribar starts towards the first door, not being cautious. He doubts any threats are in these ruins.

Metal Man (GM): Well, you didn't need to do that, but it works. You push the switch to the 'On' position. Aribar: The 10 doors that go further inside are locked... there's ten that go outside as well, but they're all usable. *click.*

Digifanatic: "Well then..."

Metal Man (GM): 1-10th of the entire city lights up.

Digifanatic: "Hmm... I sense a problem though."

Computer: "1-10th of Atlantis is activated."

Digifanatic: "Or not." *He tries another switch to confirm or deny his though.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "...well, might as well activate the rest..."

Computer: "2-10ths of Atlantis are activated."

Metal Man (GM): Another 10th of Atlantis lights up.

Digifanatic: "Okay. It's safe."

Garrick Fy`aar sweeps his hands over the other eight switches "So far as we know... just wait..."

Metal Man (GM): All of Atlantis lights up. And all 10 doors open... to the inside and outside. There's a central... computer in there. It looks kinda new.

Digifanatic: "Well, that's a relief."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...well, here's something..."

Digifanatic walks over to the computer.

Garrick Fy`aar does as well, holstering the M150 and looking it over...

Metal Man (GM): ...It lights up.

Digifanatic: .oO(Please don't show up Gerald...)

Aribar follows the others. "I don't like things automatically turning on..."

Avon: "Hello. This is Atlantis systems hub computer."

Digifanatic: "Phew."

The Void Video: "...What is this... the Questers? It can't be..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Hold that 'phew', Digi..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Avon..." *He lets out a low growl...*

Metal Man (GM): You remember... this is the childish hologram from the earlier modules... he controlled all the modules Nova didn't have.

Digifanatic: "All I get is Nova backwards... So, evil clone, Garrick? You know Nova pretty well."

Avon: "Gerald Robotnik knew you would be coming here."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Not evil clone..."

Aribar: "Well, Gerald is dead."

Garrick Fy`aar: "For a while now, it seems."

Avon: "Was he ever alive, to begin with?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "Good point..."

Aribar: "...All of his holograms too I mean... I hope..."

Garrick Fy`aar decides he'd better go along with this for now... he restrains blowing the computer to kingdom come...

Metal Man (GM): A video comes up.

Gerald Robotnik: "Kill the Questers! Release the A-series robots! Eliminate all opposition!"

Aribar: "Uhhh... I don't think that's the right one... Eheheheh."

Avon: "I believe that statement is very spot-on. Since I must help master Kuja remake this world into the one that both he and the Maricians want... I'm gonna blow you into tiny bits! Hahahahaha! Release... the A SERIES!"

Aribar unsheaths the Wand of Wonder. "I hope there's enough for all of us!"

Metal Man (GM): Ten compartments open above... and out drop ten robots. All humanoid. Some have blasters, other have large fists. Others have... nothing?

Garrick Fy`aar draws the M150 and the Einhammer... he growls...

Avon: "Terminate them, my servants!"

A-Series Robots: "Yes Master. All four bogies will be eliminated."

Julian Sawyer: *Appears* "What's going on this time?"

Aribar fires an Electric Elemental Blast an an A-001, A-002, and an A-003. 105% Electric damage to the three robots.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Less talking, more blowing stuff up!"

Digifanatic: "We're trying to fine a way to bring Kuja down... this is what we're dealing with now."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I said LESS TALKING!"

Julian Sawyer: "So who's this guy?"

Avon: "...Heavy damage registered. Level approximated in the 20 area. Advisory: Electric damage."

Digifanatic: "Fine."

Garrick Fy`aar immediately turns to 002 and unloads a series of armor piercing bullets at him, followed by a grenade from the Einhammer.

Metal Man (GM): 7 hits, 1 crit, then a hit by the grenade. A-002 1 dies. Your turn over?

Digifanatic: "Wow. Those aren't taking much."

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Metal Man (GM): The remaining two A-002s fire at Garrick.

Garrick Fy`aar just stands there, the rounds bouncing off his armor...

Metal Man (GM): 5 damage per hit... and one of the robots malfunctions. That robot cannot attack next turn.

Avon: "You cannot possibly win! You are heavily outclassed!"

Julian Sawyer: *Launches at the 002 robots, setting off a Beatbox, followed by a Breakdown.*

Metal Man (GM): Miss hit hit hit miss.

Julian Sawyer: *WONDER CRIT.*

Metal Man (GM): A-002 2 is hit three times by that first attack. Erm, by all those attacks.

Digifanatic starts off relatively easy: a Fire Punch to an 002.

Metal Man (GM): *Ka-hit.*

Digifanatic then tries a Super Mario punch on the same 002.

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Digifanatic then uses a Quake Smash Golf Club on the 003s.

Metal Man (GM): All hit.

Digifanatic: *Hit Wonder Crit Crit Miss Hit.*

Metal Man (GM): Nope. All hit. time for the A-001s... All three A-001s attack Aribar with punches. One of them punches an A-002 instead! 20 damage per hit... if any hit. Then, two A-003s heal the heavily damaged A-003 for 40, then the other two instantly hit Garrick with psybeams for 20 instant damage. Oh, and they get yet another turn... So all four A-003s heal the first one, healing it for 80... it's nearly untouched!

Digifanatic: "I say get the 003s..."

Aribar: "...Electric Elemental Barrage!" *The elf aims all three Electric Elemental Blasts at the healed A-003... 315% Electric damage total.*

Julian Sawyer: "Nah, the 002s. They go first."

Metal Man (GM): You blow up the first A-003.

Digifanatic: "I know. It's a tough call. Nice wizardry, Ari."

Aribar: "Thanks."

Digifanatic: "We're still winning relatively easily so far... we shouldn't be too concerned yet..."

Garrick Fy`aar ignores the situation. He just blows his way into another 003 bot. He riddles it with regular armor piercing rounds.

Metal Man (GM): All hit. The A-002s go... and fire at Aribar. Well... only one A002.

Aribar is only hit twice.

Metal Man (GM): 5 damage per hit... that A-002 shoots an A-001 by mistake with that 6!

Avon: "Uhhh... uhhh... crush them! Come on! More power!"

Julian Sawyer: *Right then. Julian aims to take out the last A-002 bot, or Overdrive, whichever comes first, so he attacks with a Double Beatbox Luckies the 6*

Metal Man (GM): Miss hit miss miss miss miss. 1 hit. There's 7 robots left.

Digifanatic first tries using a Quake Smash Fire Punch on the weakest one of each series robot apiece.

Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit.

Digifanatic then tries a Microwave on the weakest 003.

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Digifanatic finishes off with a defend.

Metal Man (GM): All three A-001s attack Aribar. 20 damage per hit... one of them can't attack next round! The remaining two A-003s heal themselves once, then both shoot Psybeams into Garrick, dealing 20 more damage to him.

Aribar downs a Blue Potion and fires a Fire and then Ice Elemental Blast at a single A-003. 105% Fire, 105% Ice damage.

Metal Man (GM): That one is exploded.

Garrick Fy`aar goes to finish off the last 003, unloading another series of armor piercing regular rounds into it.

Metal Man (GM): All hit. That one is also dead, now. Oh, wait. The two A-002s fire at Aribar. 5 damage per hit. He has approximately 15 seconds. 9 8 7

Julian Sawyer: *Plucks his fedora off his head and squeezes the feather, then throws it at the two 002s, attacking each 3 times with a Hat Trick Luckies the 6*

Metal Man (GM): Miss hit miss miss miss miss. 1 hit. 5 robots are left.

Digifanatic keeps his plan to attacking the 002s. He does so with a Quake Smash Golf Club, Overdriving if he can hit both.

Metal Man (GM): You hit both.

Digifanatic: *Upon making that payoff attack, he Overdrives and then smashes an 001 with an OD Fire Punch at -5 accuracy.*

Metal Man (GM): *Supa-hit.*

Digifanatic: *...and continues with an OD Thunderstorm to the strongest 001.*

Metal Man (GM): Two hits. The two A-001s that can attack converge and attack Digi. 20 damage per hit.

Digifanatic is hit once.

Avon: "You might win this battle, but I will win the battle of attrition!"

Aribar downs a Green Potion and then fires two Earth Elemental Blasts at a A-001. 210% Earth.

Metal Man (GM): A-001 1 dies.

Garrick Fy`aar goes to take down the other 001 with dumdum rounds...

Metal Man (GM): All but 1 hit. All but TWO hit, I should say. It does not die.

Garrick Fy`aar finishes it off then, with a few more dumdums.

Metal Man (GM): Three hits. It's still not dead. The two remaining A-002s fire at Aribar. 5 damage per hit.

Julian Sawyer: *Tries destroying those 002s again with another double Hat Trick.*

Metal Man (GM): Miss hit hit crit miss crit

Julian Sawyer: *O-O-O-OVERDRIVE.*

Metal Man (GM): 1 of the A-002s are killed.

Digifanatic takes a glance at Julian. "Sweet. We're two for two."

Metal Man (GM): There's now only 1 A-002 and 2 A-003s.

Digifanatic decides that the he might as well let the robots have it. He goes for a Super Thunderstorm.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Let's just get this over with already..."

Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit. Another A-001 bites the dust. The remaining A-001 attacks Digi.

Digifanatic can't use another Super Move, so instead he goes with a Fire Punch to the 001.

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Digifanatic uses his other Weapon Energy Capsule.

Metal Man (GM): The robot does the punch attack with the above roll. 20 damage if that hit Digi.

Digifanatic is back down to 1 OP.

Avon: "Hahaha! Watch as my robots slowly weaken you down to nothing!"

Digifanatic gives Avon a stare. .oO(And how many of us have been killed yet?)

Aribar: (Sorry... I'm distracted.) *Downs another Green potion and fires a single Wind Elemental Blast at the robot who hit Digi. 105% Wind damage. That is all.*

Metal Man (GM): that robot refuses to die.

Digifanatic: "I daresay we start open fire on that bad boy."

Garrick Fy`aar unloads some regular armor piercers on it till it goes down.

Metal Man (GM): All hit. Still not dead! Hit hit hit hit. It finally dies... leaving a single A-002.

Digifanatic: "Oh thank you, Garrick..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Now, as for you... I might as well use it, since I'll lose it when this is over... OVERDRIVE!!!" *He pumps up like usual, though his armor lets off a faint bluish glow... He doesn't use his big attacks just yet... he just fires off another four shots, but this time they look like pure plasma or something...*

Metal Man (GM): All hit. Mega-Overkill

Digifanatic: "And nice finishing touch."

Metal Man (GM): 150 EXP for all.

Garrick Fy`aar chuckles a bit, his overdrive fading and disappearing as he holsters the M150. The Einhammer had long returned to his back.

Avon: "Good job. You defeated the first three serial numbers of... at least, 100 models."

Garrick Fy`aar just stands there, looking pumped and slightly glowy.

Avon: "Now then... I must be leaving. I have important things to do."

Metal Man (GM): The computer... and Avon... just fall through the floor. An elevator appears in their place.

Digifanatic: "Well, that seemed easy enough."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...let's keep moving."

Julian Sawyer: "That took long enough..."

Garrick Fy`aar walks slowly into the elevator, stepping inside.

Metal Man (GM): This elevator... goes down. It only goes down... and has no floors marked on it.

Digifanatic follows as well.

Metal Man (GM): Just 'Down'

Julian Sawyer: *Heads for the elevator.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "Stay frosty." *He hits the button.*

Aribar hrms, once inside the elevator.

Metal Man (GM): The elevator starts going down.

Aribar: "Anyone need healing?"

Digifanatic: "Nah, I'm fine. If anyone has a spare Weapon Energy Capsule though, that's what I'd really like."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I could use a jolt."

Aribar: "Heal!" *Casts Minor Healing twice on Garrick for 40% HP, and repeats the act on himself.*

Metal Man (GM): *click* *click* *click* You hear something... moving, or being activated? On the elevator, of course.

Garrick Fy`aar draws the M150, glancing around...

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Aribar: "I'm not sure if I like that sound..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Dex, scan."

Metal Man (GM): *click* *click.*

Julian Sawyer: "This can't be good."

Smash Dex: "No unusual circumstances detected."

Garrick Fy`aar looks for a panel on the ceiling of the elevator...

Metal Man (GM): *click* *click* No such thing... it's not very safety-wise. *CLICK* *SHINK* ...The elevator starts falling. Very fast.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...dah!"

Julian Sawyer: "I knew it!"

Metal Man (GM): What do you do, while the elevator is falling?

Julian Sawyer: *Looks for a button or something.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "Digi, some of the gravity stuff could be very nice right about now!"

Metal Man (GM): You see... 'Down' 'Up' 'Open doors' 'Emergency Alarm' 'Telephone' That's all you see.

Digifanatic: "Yeah... I guess. Problem is I haven't taken a look lately."

Julian Sawyer: "Group opinion: Press Emergency Alarm?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "...damn it. Go ahead. And the open doors one too..."

Aribar: "I don't think that'd help; It'd just trigger alarms."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Then what do you want to do instead, Ari?"

Julian Sawyer: "Digi, your vote?"

Aribar: "Press 'up' maybe?"

Metal Man (GM): You're getting close to the bottom... you hear the Ocean.

Digifanatic: "I dunno."

Metal Man (GM): There's a sign on the elevator, near the controls.

Julian Sawyer: *Hits the Emergency Alarm button anyway.*

Metal Man (GM): 'Press 'Alarm' in emergencies.' A loud alarm goes off.

Julian Sawyer: *Looks at that before doing so, then presses button.*

Computer: "Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert."

Metal Man (GM): The computer unendingly says that.

Julian Sawyer: *Tries pressing the UP button.*

Metal Man (GM): Nothing happens.

Digifanatic: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we get it."

Metal Man (GM): You're getting very close to the bottom! Act fast!

Julian Sawyer: *Hits open doors.*

Metal Man (GM): ...You open the doors... And three robots leap aboard!

A-004: "Intruder alert in elevator 1."

Julian Sawyer: "What the hell!"

A-005: "Destroy intruders."

Aribar: "...We're doomed."

A-006: "Intruder alert. You triggered it. The intruders must be destroyed."

Julian Sawyer: *Tries kicking them out the door before they can do anything.*

Computer: "Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert. Elevator Alert."

Aribar: "...Magic Teleport!" *He attempts to teleport the robots above the elevator.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar: Three INT checks. Julian: Problem... the wall is extremely close to the elevator! Aribar: You fail in warping A-005 and A-007. A-006 appears above the elevator... look! A door! SPD checks, everybody, to run onto the door before you plunge into the ocean.

Julian Sawyer: "Door!"

Aribar: "Magic Teleport!" *He attempts to teleport into the door.*

Metal Man (GM): Garrick makes it. Aribar falls to his doom. The two robots make it across. Julian makes it across.

Julian Sawyer: *Running leap to safety!*

Metal Man (GM): Digi barely fails. Aribar and Digi hit the ocean at high speeds. *-1 Life.*

Julian Sawyer: "...I made it! Alright!"

Metal Man (GM): Still, Digi and Aribar lose one life... Julian is all alone with all three robots. Julian: Do you run, or fight?

Digifanatic assumes he loses his OD for losing the life by check.

Julian Sawyer: *Runs for it, then.*

Metal Man (GM): You outrun all three of them. You lose them.

Julian Sawyer: "I hate robots!"

Metal Man (GM): Digi and Aribar are revived at their destination: A hallway... all three robots have their backs turned.

Aribar tries to get the initiative by casting two Electric Elemental Blast on one of them and a Star Storm from his Wand of Wonder on another.

Metal Man (GM): The first one attacks Aribar with a bunch of laser gun shots. 5 damage per hit... a crit is in there! The second heals 20 damage off itself, then hits Aribar instantly for 10 damage with a Psybeam. The third completely heals its comrade, then deals another instant 10 damage to Aribar. A-004 is heavily damaged. The other two are unharmed. Digi: What do you do?

Digifanatic tries running again. *Last Lucky.*

Metal Man (GM): Whoops, well, anyway. Digi is only engaged by the middle bot, who cannot attack yet, anyway... So Digi gets away. It's Aribar vs. the robots! *pokes Aribar.*

Aribar drinks a Green Potion and fires one Star Storm at the A-004. If it isn't dead, he fires the second Star Storm at it. If it is, he fires it at another robot.

Metal Man (GM): You kill the first robot with both of those put together. Orr... you don't. It's barely alive. Either way, it fires more weak lasers at you. 10 damage per hit... there's a crit there, too.

Julian Sawyer: *Charges in from wherever he was hiding, on fire, and slams into A-004 with an uppercut: Blazin'*

Metal Man (GM): Julian: Not your turn, quite yet...

Julian Sawyer: *Uses that when it's his turn, then.*

Aribar is on death's door, but still alive.

Metal Man (GM): A-005 and A-006 combine their injuring powers to deal 40 damage to Aribar instantly, with Psybeam. Julian hits A-004 with the sneak attack.

Aribar dies.

Metal Man (GM): It dies. Continue your... 'turn'

Julian Sawyer: *Then lunges towards A-006, grabbing it by whatever he can grab it by, and delivers a powerful haymaker: KO Punch, -2 OP.*

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Julian Sawyer: *KNOCKOUT!*

Metal Man (GM): You knock that thing out. The remaining robot treats you to two Psybeams. Instant 20 damage to Julian; it's worth two hits.

Julian Sawyer: *Down to two OP* "Hey Ari, glad you could make it."

Aribar fires two Star Storms at it and nods to Julian.

Metal Man (GM): *INSTA-NUKE* Julian and Aribar gain: 300 EXP

Julian Sawyer: *LEVEL UP!*

Metal Man (GM): Digi gains: Nothing All that's left is a leisurely stroll down the curving hallway.

Digifanatic: "Sorry I didn't fight guys."

Julian Sawyer: "Eh." *Heads down the hallway.*

Aribar: "Ah well..." *The elf continues on.*

Digifanatic walks with the others.

Metal Man (GM): I say we pause before the boss.

Charles Magellean (GM): You make it to the warp room despite the pouring down of the constant attacks of Kuja's ships. The warp room is ready, although programming coordinates while the building shakes is a bit hard to do.

VG does his best to work with the computer system to get the co-ordinates he wants... he wants to prove to the other Questers that he can actually do more with items besides use them in battle... maybe do some cooking or something... yeah... .oO(I would NOT be making any sort of Contradicting Cake, thank you very much!)

Charles Magellean (GM): The warp tile is ready. It appears that underground warp pipes are not working because they only appear above ground.

VG jumps in the warp room once everything is set up... destination, Eisnaught.

Charles Magellean (GM): *WARP.*

VG gets that familiar warping sensation... it tingles at times.

Charles Magellean (GM): After passing through space and debris, you end up at the ruins of Eisnaught. There is little rubble in the giant crater that was once Eisnaught. The diameter of these ruins is about...1-2 miles in length, at best.

VG: .oO(...whoa. The Void did that much damage...? I think I better make sure the people are alright first.) *He walks around, hoping to find some civilization.*

Charles Magellean (GM): The denizens of the once peaceful utopia have become scared outta their wits to stay in a place that was destroyed. Not even a soldier of Kuja's is here, which is a good thing. Seemingly, not a soul is around.

VG: .oO(...this isn't right... it's almost as if... it's too quiet...) *He pulls out his Dex to see if he can find anyone that way... he's probably... oh, 50-100 feet in the ruins area by now.*

Charles Magellean (GM): As you walk, you begin to realize that it isn't a total crater after all. The Void had done the damage he sought to do, but there ARE ruins.

Smash Dex: "There are lifesigns somewhere in the vicinity."

VG looks around all the while... it's a sad state, this town. He jumps with a little glee... he attempts to follow the life signs.

Smash Dex: "It is north north west."

VG: "Thank you." *He puts the dex away for the moment, and starts going north by north west... all the while trying to take in all that's happened.*

Charles Magellean (GM): There are various compounds that are still on fire. There are some of Kuja's forces splattered all around the ground. No blood, but machine scraps... a whole lot of scraps. Some of the buildings look like they're about to collapse.

VG again stops... taking in these sights is just... well, difficult. He goes towards a building that looks... well, shaky at best. Perhaps something important could be found there... like civilians .oO(I'll have to ignore the cooking lessons idea for now; if there are people that need help, they need the attention.)

Charles Magellean (GM): Oh my! On one of the ruins... is a flag.

VG is going towards a ruin... and sees a flag of some sort. He tries to make out what is on this flag. .oO(Now what have we here?)

Charles Magellean (GM): It is too high for you to make what it says... Suddenly, a strong breeze comes around. This makes the flag blow widely. It begins to wobble in the wind, as though it is not in a sturdy place. It then falls... in your general direction.

VG feels the breeze... then notices the flag falling... yikes! He rolls backwards to hopefully avoid getting conked on the hat.

Charles Magellean (GM): *SMASH* Had you not rolled out of the way, your foot would've been caught and it would've hurt really, really badly.

VG breathes a quick sigh of relief... now that the flag is down, he attempts to make out what it says. .oO(This is not supposed to be a strange day.)

Charles Magellean (GM): The flag stops and there seems to be some kind of strange note attached to it.

VG grabs the note and reads it.

Charles Magellean (GM): "To whom can read and/or understand this note:."

VG: .oO(Well, that's a nice start) *continues reading.*

Charles Magellean (GM): "I've done it! I have finally created my own cookbook; filled with recipes and step-by-step instructions that can compete with Zess T. and Tayce T's cooking! It is a shame that the world has spited me so much that I will not cook for anyone."

VG: .oO(Zess T? I don't recall him... must be from another town.) *continues.*

Charles Magellean (GM): "And of course... For those who were reading this note via chance of surviving the flag pole falling, climbing, or just by luck..."

VG: .oO(Okay, get to the point already!)

Charles Magellean (GM): "May you be filled with wisdom and not risk turning your head and face my boomerang." It stops there. You begin to hear a faint sound... and at a moderate speed, it comes closer to you.

VG has a strange feeling... he ducks and gets in reflector mode position so as to not be affected... much.

Charles Magellean (GM): It hits your reflector. It ricochets backwards. *Catch.*

VG NOW turns around. "Alright, whose bright idea was this?"

Charles Magellean (GM): *SMACK* ANOTHER boomerang hits you in the head. 10% damage.

VG won't bother Lucky Daying that. He gets recoiled a little. "...alright; who are you?"

???: "You didn't pay attention to the note, didn't you? Plus, I didn't say which boomerang to look out for."

Charles Magellean (GM): A toad catches the boomerang.

VG: "...alright, you got me on that last statement. Either way, I'm at least glad to know that some have survived here." .oO(Even if I had to be attacked...)

Charles Magellean (GM): This toad seems a bit rough around the edges. He wears an eye patch. He has a somewhat gruff beard, and carries a shiiiiiiny ruby hammer. He wears clothing like other toads, but red dots on the hat, and gray dots on the shirt, which is slightly ripped, and pants.

VG: "...who are you?"

Charles Magellean (GM): He opens his eye patch. It seems he still has both eyes.

Twist Ed:"The name's Twist Ed. I'm different from you other kinds of toads."

VG: "I'm known as VG. Can I help you with anything?"

Charles Magellean (GM): He kinda limps as he walks a few steps. It appears as though he has a wound, but doesn't need a stick of some kind to lean on.

Twist Ed: "For the last time, I don't wanna leave this place. I don't need to be rescued or nothin'!"

VG notices... slightly... some sort of limp... must have been injured during that blast.

Twist Ed: "Why can't you people understand that?"

Charles Magellean (GM): He grunts a sigh.

VG: "...my original purpose was to seek some lessons."

Twist Ed: "...Cooking?"

VG: "When I came here and saw what happened, though... how did you know?"

Twist Ed: "Why, I gots me a book about it, yep. ---Eh, you just sorta have an instinct for it, ya?"

Charles Magellean (GM): He puts his hands behind his head.

VG: "I've recently been experimenting with different foods and items... I'd hopefully like to be able to make even better ones, but I need lessons."

Twist Ed: "Some people a person can read like an open book. We gotta look out for each other, eh?"

VG: "...okay, you seem willing to give me lessons here... but what must I give you in return?"

Twist Ed: "With my book, a person can learn and take lessons at the same time, brudda."

VG: .oO(Brudda?)

Twist Ed: "This be my final copy. Not a whole lot wanna learn 'bout the arts since Kuja and his creeps keep tearin' up the planet. But I suppose, this one time, I can give it away. What's yer name?"

VG: "Like I said... I'm known as VG. I wasn't exactly... well, born from this town, and my parents had strange names themselves." *He still remembers them... TV and CB... good parents.*

Charles Magellean begins to growl a scowl and glares at him. His tone changes, and now somewhat Jamaican accent.

Twist Ed: "HHHHMMMMMMMMMMM???? I heard that name before... ...You're... a Quester!"

VG: "Yes."

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed unsheathes his hammer.

Twist Ed: "You people got a very bad rep. Tearing up people's places, buildings, machines. You reckless bastards! Your negligence is almost as bad as the destruction of the twisted people you fight!!"

VG: "Give me an example." .oO(...why does this guy sound like someone I know...)

Twist Ed: "How about a very good example... say Eisnaught being destroyed by Kuja? Where were you people to prevent it!?"

VG: "Unfortunately, we can't be everywhere at once."

Twist Ed: "Or how about that one twisted round butterball... Sir Giddy! He creates more fear than even Zio!"

VG: "Sir Giddy? I don't recall him..."

Twist Ed: "His fits of 'Da Button!' are as dangerous as a doomsday device by Smithy!"

VG: "The point is, we aren't perfect... you aren't either, and Kuja certainly isn't." .oO(...okay, perhaps he is thinking of Gibby...)

Twist: "At least Kuja is outright honest about his plans."

VG: "...he might be, but he still wants to take over."

Twist Ed: "Your organization is downright corrupt as any other major conglomerate."

VG: "Alright... assuming you are right... how do you suggest the 'corruption' as you call it be cleaned?"

Twist Ed: "You Questers are as twisted and un-clean to the core... so there's only one solution..."

VG: .oO(This guy is definitely strange... first he hurts, then helps, then hurts... probably some fanatic of sorts) "...and what would that be?"

Twist Ed: "If the Smashers don't do anything about you arrogant pigs..."

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed lights a bob-omb.

Twist Ed: "Then maybe it's time to start killing."

VG gets out an ice block and throws it towards the bob-omb... hoping to diffuse that (different type of SPD)

Twist Ed: "I may not be sane anymore, but at least I see clearly that your organization hurts the planet more than they try to help!"

VG: .oO(...what part of "we aren't perfect" did that nut job not get?)

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed throws the bob-omb onto the battlefield. Twist Ed then lights two more and throws them onto the battlefield as well.

Twist Ed: "Take this, you rotten bastard!" *He grabs from behind his back two albino boomerangs. He then throws them at you at high speed.*

Charles Magellean (GM): 2 spd checks.

VG bobs and weaves out of the way if possible.

Charles Magellean (GM): You avoid those.

Twist Ed: "Don't feel like resting just yet! Remember... they're boomerangs!"

Charles Magellean (GM): 2 more spd checks. You are hit by each of them. 10% per hit. still two more spd checks, though. Twist Ed catches the boomerangs on the return trip. Bob-omb one attacks! whoops

VG attempts to roll to the left. He does so successfully.

Charles Magellean (GM): You succeed in avoiding the explosion. Bob-omb two dashes!

VG attempts to roll back to the right, back to the original position... he does so.

Charles Magellean (GM): It too explodes without success. Bob-omb three strikes!

VG sidesteps to the right. *BOOM.*

Charles Magellean (GM): *KABOOM* It explodes in your face for 25 damage. Your turn.

VG shakes the soot off of him before putting on some Super Sneakers. action 1 He then attempts to use one of his new items... the Bazooze-ka. "Have some rum, why don't you?" *He pulls the trigger... a stream of various alcohols merge together, aimed towards the enemy's mouth. If successful, he'll become drunk and confused.*

Charles Magellean (GM): hit Twist Ed opens his mouth and swallows all the wonderful sedatives.

VG hopes the alcoholic contents of that weapon work on him... he takes a scan with his dex while the alcohol does its magic... hopefully.

Smash Dex: *ding* Berserker Toad: Twist Ed HP: 0%/475% STR: 35 SPD: 24 INT: 18 High Time: He squats, jumps about 75 feet into the air, then comes a ferocious slam. Boomerang Wild Thang: He chuck twos Albino boomerangs, causing them to hit a target twice; once at the target, then another time on the return trip. Extension: The Berserker Toad extends his large ruby hammer outwards by at least 20 feet. He then swings it in a circle wildly several times, hoping to hit all the targets. Description: An insane Toad with insane strength for its species. Its primary weapons consist of a large ruby hammer, boomerangs, and bob-ombs. Be wary of this Toad and do your best to avoid causing it vexation. Otherwise it will see you as an antagonist and you may be on the receiving end of its glimmering, but extremely heavy, ruby hammer. Note: Not all attacks are shown. *END.*

VG: .oO(How did I irritate or annoy him?)

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed makes a little jig. Then he pulls out his hammer. He targets himself, and attempts to smack himself silly.

Julian Sawyer: *WHAMMO!*

Charles Magellean (GM): He hits himself for 35% damage on the head. He shakes his head, and somehow all the alcohol he's consumed is... gone.

VG: .oO(I've got to somehow stop him from getting all of those bob-ombs)

Charles Magellean (GM): Bob-omb one goes kamikaze!

VG escapes unscathed due to the Super Sneakers.

Charles Magellean (GM): New round in rewind mode: VG, Berserker Toad

VG: .oO(Hmm... better make sure he can't get out those bob-ombs.) *He gets out an Ice Block, and throws it in the drunk toad's direction. He doesn't freeze with that block... so he gets another block and tries again!*

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed brings out the hammer and smashes the ice block before it reaches him.

Twist Ed: "I see how it is. You people are cheap, too! Fight like a man, wuss!"

VG: "What's wrong with some strategy? But if it's a manly fight..." *He runs to this bum to grab him... for the eventual dunking.*

Charles Magellean (GM): Do I need to say that Twist Ed cannot avoid? Yes. Twist Ed does not block.

VG grabs the bum and dunks his head on the ground, causing at least 16% damage... plus whatever else dunking by head-on-ground does, if any.

Charles Magellean (GM): It does an additional 6%. Twist Ed jumps high and away.

VG turns to where Twist Ed went.

Twist Ed: "So, ya got spunk! Let's see you deal with this attack."

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed chants and his ruby hammer glows... it begins to extend... 2 feet...5 feet...10...15...20 feet in length!

VG is not going to like this...

Twist Ed: "Haarrrruuuggghhh!"

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed lifts it up and begins to spin several times... if there were several Questers this attack would hit them as well, but since VG is the only one present....

VG wonders what is going on... He avoids all of... whatever it entails (again, due to the Sneakers)

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed begins to rant and stamp as he could not hit you.

Twist Ed: "BAAZZZEEEHHH! BAAAZZUUUU!"

VG: .oO(Jeez... he really has a temper)

Twist Ed begins a stomping rage... and now he glows red at times.

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed now becomes true to his words.

VG is now seeing a red flashing angry toad... jeez; he IS Twisted!

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed: Berserker status activated.

Twist Ed: "For retribution!"

VG decides to unleash a Star Egg on Twist Ed... he's got a decent shot to hit him once while he's enraged like this. (SPD check on your end) *Twist Ed is scrambled.* He decides to bring out an X Defend for action #2. He will then attempt to Quick Attack this guy while he still has the extra SPD (two rolls on my end)

Charles Magellean (GM): first one no go second one connects Twist Ed lights up three more bob-ombs. He then readies a boomerang...

Twist Ed: "So, you wanna play dirty?"

VG: "Didn't you already do so yourself?"

Twist Ed: "Let's see how you like my variation of your friend's attack with his hammer!"

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed throws one boomerang at you.

VG attempts to duck this one.

Charles Magellean (GM): another one....

VG is going to milk these super sneakers for all they are worth for this last round.

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed then catches the boomerang as he slides under you! spd check final.

VG rolls to the right then. He should have gone left.

Charles Magellean (GM): You fail to do so as he uses... Hammer Time!

VG is probably being assaulted by hammers right now...

Charles Magellean (GM): 63% Major Damage as he hits you in the groin! Twist Ed walks away as the bob-ombs begin to tick.

VG got groined to death...

Charles Magellean (GM): the bombs also take their turn to add damage for fun. Bob-omb one stays put. Bob-omb two is put on hold. Bob-omb three runs into you!

VG hasn't really been... well, revived yet.

Charles Magellean (GM): Regardless if that attack hits your corpse. it explodes. You revive via your own way one less action this turn. Berserker Toad begins to squat...

VG does the Sub Con door warp thingy this time.

Charles Magellean (GM): Speaking of Subcon, Twist Ed charges as he squats, then jumps high high high!

VG will use this round to get defensive items out... he deploys a Guardian Acorn and Super Plush Bear.

Charles Magellean (GM): your turn, minus one action. Now he does everything above. At the peak of his 75 foot jump, he begins to come crashing down, hammer first. do I need a roll for the plush bear?

VG doesn't get hit due to the X Defend kicking in.

Twist Ed jumps behind a bit...

Charles Magellean (GM): honestly. how does he do it? Twist Ed pulls out his two boomerangs and chucks them. 4 spd checks.

VG attempts to get fancy in avoiding again... this time, no shoes to help...

Charles Magellean (GM): 15% for the last two hits each. distribute damage however it is during the plush bear, acorn, and odd damage.

VG gets a little rocked... with his teddy also suffering slightly.

Charles Magellean (GM): For his final attack... Twist Ed chucks one boomerang and dashes at you. three spd checks.

VG hopes to avoid more groin injuries.

Charles Magellean (GM): Too bad. You are hit by the boomerang twice for 15% each hit... and... and a slight groin damage of 4. Twisted Ed whistles for the bob-ombs. They perk up. Bob-omb responds!

VG avoids that.

Charles Magellean (GM): It trips and explodes. Bob-omb dos y VG explodo! Muy Failo. VG, you somehow get the feeling that when the bob-ombs don't attack, you could by chance prevent them from attacking in the future. They seem a bit... under-protected.

VG: .oO(Hmm... perhaps those bob-ombs could be disabled...)

Charles Magellean (GM): However, what seems practical pending on the situation is up to you. your turn.

VG attempts another ice block throw (Eastern)

Charles Magellean (GM): I'll go with what works. Twist Ed smashes the ground to cause shockwaves... it is now heading towards you! hmm... let's go with either it's super accurate, it does double damage, or it does regular damage and instant freeze. choice two. 30% ice damage... and ....

VG has somehow found himself frozen! "Th-th-this is-is-isn't funny-ny-ny..."

Charles Magellean (GM): Twist Ed finds humor in your predicament.

Twisted Ed: "Ha, ha, ha." *He walks up to the toad that is in an ice block.*

VG: .oO(...I think I'll need to call backup)

Twisted Ed: "Well, well, well. You play dirty tactics, and look what happens when it backfires. A pity. I thought a Quester was stronger than this. I guess you're just the runt of the litter."

VG: .oO(Will this guy EVER shut up?)

Twisted Ed: "I heard there was such things as a comedy backup, but I never realized they actually existed! In fact..."

VG: .oO(Well, at least he's not an evil overlord then)

Twisted Ed: "Although I would kill you right now, I going to do something that you bastards do not show."

Charles Magellean (GM): Twisted Ed... puts the book down beside you?

VG: "...and wh-wh-wh-what would th-th-that be?" *He is confused by this action... He can't really do much about it, though... he's still pretty frozen stiff.*

Twisted Ed: "I haven't had a laugh for a while. Someone like you certainly can't be considered a third to someone like Kuja! I don't consider you one as well, so have fun with your miserable existence and this humiliating defeat."

VG: .oO(...not alone, anyway... but I'm not going to let you know that)

Twisted Ed: "Mark my words though. I will be back to finish the job and put you perverted private citizens that claim to help Nintendus onto the next world."
