Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 225: Cold Robots

MrMonster appears in the arena, his weapons still being worked on at Garrick's forge.
Jina walks in the arena, reading the bible he found.
MrMonster: "So, Jina, do you wish to face me once more?"
Jina: "Sure, why not?" *He closed the book with three fingers, dropping it on his sidepack.*
MrMonster charges forth towards Jina. The Trulander pulls out several deadly looking spines from the bracer on his right arm and throws them at Jina before repeating the feat two more times... The Needles move. Mr. Monster has reached Jina by then and slams a kinetically-enhanced fist at his foe, a Smash Attack.
Jina groaned, not seeing the needles well. Two had missed from his dodge, a frantic run, before he was walloped back with a smash.
MrMonster then jumps back a bit from his foe, his turn over.
Jina shakes his fist in anger. "That hurt!"
MrMonster just smirks at Jina.
Jina pulls out his frying pan, launching sausages!
MrMonster ducks under the first projectile before being smacked by the second sausage.
Jina followed in after the sausages with a Baby Jolt.
MrMonster rolls to the side of the attack, just BARELY avoiding a shocking end. He is shocked.
Jina points and laughs.
MrMonster: "No, no, no... That's all wrong."
Jina: "What is?"
MrMonster: "THIS is how you should do the attack! Mind Bolt!" *The Trulander calls down a bolt of lightning, striking both himself and Jina... A Baby Bolt.*
Jina drops and twitchs for about five mintues...
MrMonster is shocked by his own attack, but quickly shakes it off and kicks his foe while he's down. He falls down ala Charlie Brown...
Jina regains controller, dodges as if he was the football pulled by Lucy. He blinks. "Why do I feel like I'm part of the Peanuts now?" He shakes his head; Baby Jolt..."CHAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGEEEEE!"
MrMonster rolls away and na--... Narrowly avoids not getting shocked.
Jina goes for a smash punch!
MrMonster rolls away from that punch thankfully. He jumps from the ground and launches himself into a Jumping Drill towards Jina. Once past his foe the Trulander creates energy blades and attempts to hack Jina up... An Electric Fan.
Jina grunts, backflipping backwards to avoid the jumping drill... as the electric-fan things come closer, time slows down and Jina hears a voice... "What? You mean I can dodge bullets?! ...Oh... Okay." *He ducks the first, and is hurt by the second? He pulls out a frying pan for a CHEF. He slams those sasusages at M.Monster!*
MrMonster is sausage'd twice.
Jina rolls up in a Falco Reflector.
MrMonster: "Hiding behind walls? I'll just have to smash them down!" *The Trulander charges towards Jina and Smash Attacks by ramming into his foe before attempting another Electric Fan attack.*
Jina is slammed backwards by the punch, still in a ball... he rolls away from the other two. He stands up, charging with another Baby jolt.
MrMonster is yet again shocked.
Jina rolls back, again, with his last SP, in a Falco Reflector.
MrMonster rushes towards Jina, a repeat performance of his last act. However, instead of Electric Fanning his foe Mr. Monster jumps back and puts up his own shield... A PK Shield.
Jina watchs as the punch goes overhead... He goes for a Smash Punch at M.Monster.
MrMonster easily dodges the attack without his shield being threatened.
Jina ponders... He goes for a jumping drill.
MrMonster easily dodges the attack before coming back with a grab and then SLAMMING his fist into Jina while he's caught... A Smash attack, that last one. It would also send Jina from his grasp.
Jina flies backwards, slamming into a wall, creating a imprint..."Ow... mommy..." He falls! And dies! He gets up again, going for two Baby Jolts on M.Monster.
MrMonster accepts the bolt, not bothering to avoid it... It deals 20% damage, right? He is healed... But only slightly. The Trulander follows up with a Sword Shot and Electric Fan on Jina.
Jina is hit by all, and tumbles back. He recoils with four sausages!
MrMonster is smacked by just two of those things. He can't take much more... He depletes the last of his energy any uses an Electric Fan on Jina before Smashing him.
Jina ducked under the Fan-ees, but yet again, hits the wall... He walks in for a Smash attack, and another chef!
MrMonster dodges the smash attack and a sausage. He does a Jumping Drill and a Smash Attack...
Jina groans, on his back.
Metal Man (GM): It is a rainy day. A glum one, despite recent successes. Garrick has begun work on repairing the space ship, though the fact remains that it is missing an integral part. The town itself, despite increasing in prosperity, seems... muted. No longer is a strong ethnic atmosphere portrayed; rather, people who are unsure of their future and wondering what Kales exactly has planned. Kales himself remains in firm control, with completion of the stone walls cementing his power. People actually join the village to seek protection from monsters and bandits. The Questers remain guests of honor... it is at this rainy time that they have been called, outside, to the area in front of Kales's hut. Something important, indeed.
Kales Brando: "It is nice of you to come out in this... dreadful weather."
Digifanatic heads through the muddy ground to Kales' place. .oO(Good thing I've had these shoes for a bit...)
Aetos: "...My cape is getting soaked."
Charles Magellean: "..."
Metal Man (GM): The sky itself is gray and dark; the village is barely lit up by dim sunlight.
Digifanatic: "Well... we'll see about that..."
Kales Brando: "I have discovered something which... you have been looking for."
MrMonster: "What's that?"
Julian Sawyer: "A way home?"
Kales Brando: "At least, your interest in these strange objects from the ruins... there are rumors that a great collection of these things exists in the mountains."
Digifanatic: "Stop beating around, buddy."
Metal Man (GM): He points to the North area, where a single tall mountain stands, the one you were just at.
Charles Magellean: "The statues you refer to."
Julian Sawyer: "...We just went there..."
Kales Brando: "There is more than the eye sees up there. That riddle has me believing that you overlooked one... important... thing."
MrMonster: "Wait... What do you mean 'strange objects'?"
Kales Brando: "The craft which crashed there, it is unusual, is it not?"
Julian Sawyer: "...yeah..."
Digifanatic: "I'd say so."
Charles Magellean merely spits in spite.
Kales Brando: "It is said that where one of those crash, a vast collection of similar objects exists."
MrMonster nods. "Ah..."
Digifanatic: "Hmm..."
Julian Sawyer: "...More?"
Digifanatic: "So there's a whole fleet of those Solarian ships near or on that mountain?"
Kales Brando: "Therefore, I wish for you to search the mountains. I have a warp point which starts at the very place you reached a dead end."
Charles Magellean's eyes begin to pulsate.
Julian Sawyer: "That wackjob must have been on to something..."
Kales Brando: "I do not know. I don't even know what a Solarian is."
Digifanatic: "The race of the people who piloted those ships..."
Julian Sawyer: "Whatever."
Charles Magellean: "..."
Digifanatic: "Anyways..."
Kales Brando: "I know that the myth hints at... vast amounts of this strange garbage."
Charles Magellean takes out the Pseudo-Cube Bazooka.
Julian Sawyer: "Great."
Kales Brando: "You may do what you wish with it, as long as you give me any artifacts you find."
Digifanatic: "Sounds doable."
Metal Man (GM): The warp point near Kales's cottage lights up.
Charles Magellean: "Point to the warp. I will be on my way."
Kales Brando: "You are dismissed."
Julian Sawyer: "Right..."
MrMonster: "I just need to collect my weapons from the forge. Garrick should be done with them by now..." *The Trulander goes to fetch his newly forged weapons and then heads back to the warp.*
Aetos nod and walks into the warp...
Julian Sawyer: *Heads into the warp*
Metal Man: "I must come as well. It sounds important."
Jina blinks, about to wisecrack at Kales, deciding not to, then goes into the warp with his weapon in hand.
Metal Man marches into the warp.
Digifanatic quickly heads to Mandy's first. He takes his Fire Tunic out of his... item-carrying device of sorts... leaving an open slot of possession (not willing to risk the quickest moment of 6 items)...
Charles Magellean turns immediately to the warp... he pauses for some reason.
Digifanatic: *He buys an IQ Capsule, paying the coins, uses it, and then repeats with a Guts Capsule.* *He then pays for 100 more rings, puts his Tunic back, and heads to the warp.*
Metal Man (GM): *WARP'D* You're now at that dead-end area, near the base of the vertical part of the mountain. It is snowing heavily up here.
Charles Magellean raises the rifle-like weapon over his shoulder in soldier fashion. With Red Chaos Emerald in pocket to deviate all anger, he goes into warp as well.
Metal Man: "Good thing I have my suit, it looks cold here."
Jina graons. "Then I'm unlucky for wearing summertime clothes."
Metal Man (GM): The ring-shaped area around this base is still a dead-end... although you notice a strange bulge in the snow. On the side of the mountain.
Digifanatic: "Huh..."
Julian Sawyer: "Speak for yourself..." *Wasn't exactly equipped for cold weather, only have a t-shirt, vest and pants.* "...Another ship?"
Metal Man: "You touch it... I don't want to be blown up by a Solarian device."
Jina heads to the bulge. "I'll guinea pig, I guess."
Julian Sawyer: "I ain't touching it..."
Charles Magellean lowers his Bazooka and aims at the bulge. He seems very anticipant of it coming alive... and wanting to pull the trigger.
Aetos grips his spear... "Go on Jina..."
Metal Man (GM): You can easily push away the snow.
Jina begins to push away the snow.
Metal Man (GM): You begin to see... a doorway. A metallic one, build into the mountain.
Julian Sawyer: "...Huh..."
Jina makes a small 'o' shape with his mouth. "Mighty interesting..."
Metal Man (GM): You soon uncover two buttons next to it... an up, and a down button.
Julian Sawyer: "Looks like an elevator."
Digifanatic: "Well then."
Metal Man (GM): Well, next to a third button which says 'Call Elevator.'
Jina: "...A elevator indeed."
Digifanatic: "Yup."
Charles Magellean: "The scum have already built a base."
Julian Sawyer: "I called it." *Presses the call button*
Charles Magellean hangs the bazooka over his shoulder again. He grits his teeth.
Jina: "What ever happened to the guy that pressed a button and went poof?"
Metal Man (GM): The panel lights up. The doors open to reveal what appears to be an ancient elevator.
MrMonster just stands off to the side, not sure what to make of this...
Digifanatic: "Oh, please Jina..."
Aetos enters the elevator "Odd..."
Julian Sawyer: "Eh." *Enters*
Metal Man (GM): It even has a light inside it.
Digifanatic: "Sometimes I have a bad feeling when people say stuff like that... and sometimes I'm the person that says it..."
Metal Man enters the elevator. "Looks safer than outside, to me."
Jina follows after Aetos. "Well, be glad I jinxed us, Digi."
Julian Sawyer: "I'm surprised this thing's working..."
Metal Man (GM): Inside the elevator, there are buttons for floors 1-10.
Digifanatic: "You didn't."
Jina: "...Oh. Good. Well... how we going to decide a floor?"
Aetos: "10 floors, jeez..."
Digifanatic follows the others.
Metal Man (GM): It also has standard elevator stuff. Like open doors, close doors, and emergency button.
Metal Man: "Maybe we should roll dice."
Aetos: "Go ahead..."
Jina: "Hm... the top floor is always the one with the boss, though..."
Charles Magellean breathes heavily, teeth showing... fire in his eyes. He reluctantly enters the elevator with the Questers.
Metal Man (GM): The door closes.
Digifanatic looks off to the buttons to see if any rooms, chambers, etc. are written on the side of each floor #.
Metal Man (GM): A normal thing for an elevator. Nope. 10 buttons.
Aetos searches for a light thing that shows what floor were on currently
MrMonster tries to get inside before the door closes...
Metal Man (GM): You are currently on floor 1. That's what an old LED panel says.
Aetos: "Odd, why was there a down button on the outside, are these Solarians as smart as they make themselves out to be?"
Metal Man (GM): MrMonster gets inside just as the door closes.
Metal Man: "I don't know what this is."
Jina rubs his chin.
Metal Man (GM): The elevator feels familiar to all the Questers who were around before Season 5.
Jina: "I'll go with suit-man's idea of rolling dice."
Julian Sawyer: "...It's not like it's a tough decision." *Presses the button for floor 2*
Digifanatic: "Hidden basement or something... maybe there's some hidden button only they know about... like imprinted into another side or something."
Metal Man (GM): The elevator goes up.... It opens. You are greeted by rocky walls.
Digifanatic: "Possibility."
Metal Man (GM): There is no actual floor 2.
Jina: "...So... anyone hear any good jokes about rocks and walls?"
MrMonster: "... Apparently they forgot to put in the second floor..."
Jina: "If not, we've wasted a perfectly good joke chance."
Metal Man: "Well, this is odd. Who puts in floors that don't exist as buttons?"
MrMonster walks over and taps the rock...
Metal Man (GM): Solid and non-hollow. It feels like granite.
Aetos: "Think it's breakable Mr.M?"
Charles Magellean: "It makes my job easier."
MrMonster backs up a step. "I don't think it's hollow. Next floor I suppose."
Jina: "Maybe it's like that novel I read... these guys built a ship in a cliff and broke the wall from inside to get out!"
Digifanatic: "Maybe there used to be something and they sealed it up with something after a while."
Julian Sawyer: "...What the hell are you talking about?"
Metal Man presses button 3.
Metal Man (GM): The doors close, and it goes up again. ANOTHER rock wall. Just 10 feet above the previous rock wall.
Digifanatic: "Weird."
Julian Sawyer: "...Keep going."
Charles Magellean: "Check this one as well."
Metal Man: "...Not even E Li Three makes jokes this repetitive."
MrMonster taps this rock wall as well...
Metal Man (GM): Same thing. It's thick.
Jina: "Yano, I bet they put it in so we'd give up."
Digifanatic: "I wouldn't be surprised at that, Jina."
Aetos pushes button 4
Digifanatic: "Should we try Floor 9 or something? Oh well."
Metal Man (GM): It goes up again... more rock.
Aetos: "Lets just keep going up for now."
Jina kicks the wall of rock.
Julian Sawyer: "...Next."
Metal Man (GM): Your foot hits hard rock. It kinda hurts to kick a wall of solid granite.
Jina yelps and grabs his foot.
Metal Man pushes button 5.
Jina: "I never want to see another wall of rock AGAIN!"
Metal Man (GM): It goes up again... there's another wall of rock.
Aetos: "Too bad..."
Metal Man: "Only five floors to go!"
Jina bangs his head off it.
Julian Sawyer: "...6."
Metal Man: "I mean... walls of rock."
Jina: "I'm gonna scream if there's another..."
Aetos pushes #6.
Metal Man: "I wonder if this actually goes anywhere... oh well. Only way to find out is... buttons!"
Metal Man (GM): It goes up... and you encounter another wall of rock.
Julian Sawyer: "Seven."
Digifanatic could make a Gibby comment, but he'll leave it in his head.
MrMonster presses seven.
Aetos: "At least there aren't traps jumping out at us when the door opens..."
Jina screams. "I hate rocks!"
Charles Magellean: "I'm thinking that the elevator is a ploy."
Metal Man (GM): The elevator continues going up. It feels cooler... but you meet another stone wall.
Jina pokes the wall a dozen times.
Digifanatic presses 8.
Julian Sawyer: "There better be something at the top..."
Metal Man (GM): It's a slightly cooler stone wall.
Jina: "Ten coins says we meet something at ten floor."
Digifanatic: "You're on."
Metal Man (GM): The eighth floor marks the eighth stone wall you've met.
Metal Man: "...Stupid stone walls..."
Metal Man (GM): Digi pressed 8.
Metal Man presses 9.
Metal Man (GM): It goes up... you see another stone wall.
Digifanatic: "Well, all or nothing now."
Julian Sawyer: *Hits button 10*
Aetos: "Please please please?"
Metal Man: "Well, who's gonna press the button which tells us whether this trip had a pu--... yeah. Julian does."
Metal Man (GM): It goes up..... *DING*
Jina crosses his fingers
Julian Sawyer: "...ding?"
Metal Man (GM): The doors open. One of them, the one you used to enter, faces a stone wall.
MrMonster: "... Annnnnd... Nothing."
Jina: "...GAH!"
Metal Man (GM): The other faces a path inside the mountain.
Digifanatic gladly gives Jina his ten coins.
Julian Sawyer: "...Path!"
Digifanatic: "There ya go."
MrMonster: "Orrr... Not."
Julian Sawyer: *Heads down it*
Metal Man: "...That was unnecessary..." *He heads into it.*
Jina stuffs ten coins away then went down the path.
Digifanatic: "Talking to me, Metal?"
Metal Man (GM): It is a curving path, around the crater inside the mountain.
Aetos walks behind Julian
Jina: "I told you it's always the top floor!"
Digifanatic follows the others.
Charles Magellean eyes flare up again. He begins to stomp doen the bath.
Metal Man: "The buttons which caused us to encounter so many stone walls."
Metal Man (GM): The dirt path ahead has tiny holes in it. Like, holes as if somebody poked them in the ground with pencils.
Jina looks at Metal. "Now you know it's the top floor always."
Metal Man (GM): It looks sort of unusual.
MrMonster follows Charles after unsheathing Miirnalk.
Jina looks in a few of the holes. "Oh... holes... cool."
Metal Man (GM): Jina: *FWOOSH* You see fire is in them. Fire which is now in your face.
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Metal Man (GM): 30 fire damage.
Aetos: "Traps... Haahaa."
Jina pulls his head away. "...What is with me today?!"
Aetos walks over them.
Julian Sawyer: "Too bad Garrick isn't here..."
Metal Man (GM): *FWOOSH*
MrMonster looks back at the others before following Charles...
Metal Man (GM): Aetos meets 30 fire damage of flaming death.
Aetos brushes the fire chars whatever away and continues.
Metal Man: "I don't think I'll be walking on that."
Jina deicdes this time to walk AROUND the holes.
Metal Man (GM): Jina:The holes cover a great section of path ahead.
Julian Sawyer: *Waits for the others to set off the rest of the traps*
Aetos: "That was nice, you guys should try it."
Jina whistles.
Metal Man leaps over the fire trap area.
Charles Magellean stops besides Julian as well.
Digifanatic: "Well..."
Jina: "That's a lot of holes."
Metal Man (GM): Aetos et Jina: Do you continue moving ahead?
Digifanatic decides he'll try and jump as well.
Aetos: "If these don't work after they emit fire once, then I'd glady set them all off for you."
Metal Man (GM): Digi: Better lucky that.
Jina contuies moving ahead.
Julian Sawyer: *Jumps around the traps*
Metal Man (GM): Digi leaps over the holes. *SHOOMP* Jina: You discover whoever made this place hates invaders. A big metallic structure pops out of the ground, studded with turrets.
Jina: "...eep."
Charles Magellean follows Julian's example and jumps.
Aetos just stands over one of the holes "Fun!"
*Crackly computer voice*: "Intruder de*KRSHT* ec-ected."
Jina runs back. Zizzagging. A lot.
Metal Man (GM): SPD check, Jina. Julian and Charles leap over the holes.
Aetos: "Is that all of you?"
Metal Man (GM): The path you are walking on is 15 feet wide. Meanwhile, Jina is blasted for 40 damage by the structure with turrets on it. That structure is 10 feet wide.
Jina groans. "Why me? God, oh WHY me?"
Aetos continues ahead, walking along the side of the hall...
Metal Man (GM): 20.
Jina goes to jump with the others.
Metal Man (GM): Aetos: You walk into the land of turrets. 30 damage to Aetos, who is blasted back.
Aetos: "Drat."
Metal Man (GM): Jina: That's moving backwards. You already walked over and past the flame traps.
Jina turns around to jump?
Metal Man (GM): Unless you want to try to jump over the turrets... which have excellent accuracy and can attack people mid-air.
Jina sighs.
Metal Man: "These traps look deadly to me. Excellent craftsmenship."
Aetos: "Trap disabler anyone?"
Jina walks back to the group. "That is NOT a good thing."
Charles Magellean: "A fine shot would do it."
MrMonster summons up a PK shield and tries to run past the flame trap... And past the turrets.
Metal Man (GM): You have to succeed one of them. Luckily, you manage to run past the turret.
Charles Magellean takes out one of his miniguns and fires one bullet at the nearest turret.
Metal Man (GM): The flames hit your shield, use 30 to calculate how much they heal you. Your bullet bounces off of the turret........
Computer Voice: "*KRSTH* Hostile detected. *KRSTH*minate."
Metal Man (GM): It opens fire at you. All the while spinning.
Charles Magellean puts the minigun away.
Metal Man (GM): 20 damage per hit.
MrMonster looks for some cover to dive behind on his side of the turret.
Metal Man: "Ahhhhhh!!!!"
Julian Sawyer: *Runs like hell past the turrets*
Aetos takes this opportunity to try and run by again
Metal Man (GM): Julian: You are also threatened by that barrage it fired at Magellean. As is Aetos... you both decided to run into the barrage... @_@ You both will get across the turret if you aren't killed. The rapidfire splash of lasers rips up the nearby area.
Julian Sawyer: *Survival!*
Charles Magellean takes 11 hits.
Aetos gets slaughtered by the bullets, holes found every 2 milimeters from another
Julian Sawyer: *Turns out he didn't need the mort roll, but he makes it across just the same.*
MrMonster is glad that he appears to be out of range of the turret...
Metal Man (GM): The turret calms down after having given fierce retribution to many people.
Computer Voice: "*KRST* Intruders have been *KRSHT*ged."
Charles Magellean brushes himself off. He stretches his legs, and makes his own run for it.
Aetos reappears back next to Mr.M and Metal and who-not...
Metal Man steps on his Star Board and flies over the pit, and then around to where Mr. M is.
Metal Man (GM): Aetos: Actually, you appear before the turret. Charles is blasted back from the turret by lasers; he takes 120 damage.
Metal Man: "I'm lucky... Charles is not."
Aetos tries to run past Again...
Charles Magellean gets off from a really bad start, and is heavily pierced by lasers. He kneels down.
Metal Man (GM): Aetos discovers that the lasers are attuned to his movements. He's hit for 40 damage for his attempt to cross. And blocked, of course.
Charles Magellean uses this own time to move again.
Metal Man (GM): Charles: You're hit, but weakly enough... a good STR check, and you can get through while being shot.
Aetos: "Charles there has to be a way through besides just running like this."
MrMonster just leans against a wall, not knowing how he could help.
Metal Man (GM): ...And a bad STR check contributes merely to annoying you. You sorta walk through the lasers hitting you like the Terminator. You still take 20 damage, though. That leaves... poor Aetos.
Aetos mutters some naughty words He tries to quickly rolls through
Charles Magellean pants severely. But his focus comes closer.
Metal Man (GM): Roll a STR check. You barely get through, taking 60 damage in the process.
Aetos gets through, lying on the floor not moving He stands up, barely
Metal Man (GM): The twisting path upwards is devoid of more security devices, it seems.
Digifanatic: "Anyone need rings?"
Aetos: "This sucks..."
MrMonster hands a Red Potion to Locos and another to Aetos.
Aetos: "Thank you Mr. M."
Metal Man (GM): ...But there's holes in the cliff wall through which wind blows towards the pit in the center. The floor there is also icy.
MrMonster: "That's a bit of payment for that nice show..."
Metal Man: "...Hoo boy, looks like time for some ice-skating championships."
Metal Man (GM): This time, I shall evaluate your crossing not by rolls.
Digifanatic: "Yeah..."
Metal Man (GM): Post how you attempt to navigate the icy death.
Aetos drinks the red potion.
Charles Magellean relunctantly drinks the bad smelling potion of healthy red.
Aetos: "Anyone have fire attacks?"
MrMonster switches out weapons for Racualk, his greatsword. The Trulander walks up to the ice, but not onto it. He taps the ice gently to see if it will crack, and then at about half the strength of a normal swing. "Not I."
Julian Sawyer: "Not without Overdrive..."
Digifanatic: "Yeah, but I dunno exactly how everything's gonna work beyond melting the ice."
Aetos: "Aye, me neither..."
Charles Magellean: "I have the ability to breathe fire."
Aetos: "It might just freeze up again... with one of us in it!"
Digifanatic: "Ah, true. Anyone wanna go first? I'll do so if nobody else wants to."
Metal Man (GM): The ice does not crack.
Aetos: "I just can't think of a way across..."
Metal Man (GM): It merely coats the rock.
MrMonster: "Hrm..." *He attempts to drive the sword down into the icy coating and rock to see if he could use it as an anchor.*
Metal Man (GM): The sword works as an anchor. Unfortunately, you'd need two to effectively cross; the minute you pulled it out without another anchor, you'd be blown away.
Digifanatic: "Ah, I'll go and see what happens." *He tries side-stepping on the ground closest to the wall, grabbing onto icicles on the walls as support... hoping they're sticky enough.*
Julian Sawyer: "Wish I had some Spiked Shoes..."
Aetos: "I wish I had a shell phone..."
MrMonster looks at the holes in the wall and wonders exactly how hard the wind is blowing.
Julian Sawyer: *How big are the holes?*
Metal Man (GM): The holes in the wall are smallish slits.
Julian Sawyer: *Couldn't jam an icicle into them?*
Metal Man (GM): You could try. There are certainly icles laying around.
Julian Sawyer: "Hmmm..." *Picks up an Icicle, steps towards the first hole, doesn't step in front of it, and tries jamming the icicle into the slit so it stops the wind, and possibly creates a handhold*
Metal Man (GM): The icicle sticks in... then is launched into the pit at really high speeds.
Metal Man: "...O_o."
Charles Magellean nods his head in amazement.
Julian Sawyer: "...dammit."
Metal Man (GM): There's no icicles on the wall to grab onto; too slippery.
Julian Sawyer: *How long did the icicle stay in?*
MrMonster sheaths his sword and gets onto his hands and knees... Hoping he is below any holes in the wall, and hoping that his leather armor's leg sections aren't slippery on the ice, he tries to crawl up the path and stick close to the wall.
Digifanatic: "Uh oh..."
Aetos grabs an icycle, and lays in on the ice, wondering if the wind will blow it down even though its so close to the ground?
Metal Man (GM): ...And MrMonster crawls right under the deadly wind. The icicle placed flat on the ground is not blown away.
Metal Man: "...Easy enough." *He also begins crawling across... Star Board flying would just place him in the way of the wind, into his doom.*
Aetos crawls a little behind Metal
Julian Sawyer: *Also crawls along*
Metal Man (GM): All who crawl get back to non-icy ground where no wind blows.
Digifanatic tries sidestepping back to the start and doing what the others are.
Charles Magellean would've picked up some icicles, put one in a hole, ride and guide the icicle to the next hole, and proceed to do so until he would've gotten across.
Metal Man (GM): ...The area immediately after the icy place is studded with machinery. Functional stuff. Power guages.
Digifanatic: "Nice idea, Monster."
Charles Magellean slowly crawls along as well and makes it with the others. He then goes back to life and proceeds to do the dishes.
Metal Man (GM): Small conduits in and out of the walls.
Metal Man: "Well, Kales was right. Something fishy is here."
MrMonster nods towards Digi before giving a cursory glance to this area.
Metal Man (GM): The way up continues onto some concrete steps... and is blocked by a locked, stainless steel door, with a bunch of consoles near it.
Digifanatic: "Well..."
Metal Man (GM): All of the electronics here seem familiar.
Metal Man: "...Have I seen these things before?"
Julian Sawyer: *Shrugs*
Aetos: "Have you?..."
Digifanatic: "Why must every session Kales give us include nostalgia trips? This is weird."
Metal Man (GM): Or Job.
MrMonster: "... We're probably just getting a bit homesick for the Stadium and such." *He walks up to the door to the next area and looks at the consoles near it.*
Metal Man (GM): They're mostly disfunctional. One has an icicle stabbed into its staticy screen. Three others are displaying that color test TV stations usually use when there's no signal. And... one of them is blinking a bit, with some vertical hold trouble; picture is scrolling across and distorted.
Digifanatic walks to the blinking TV.
Metal Man (GM): It has some sort of menu on it, but you can't see it in its current state.
Julian Sawyer: *Looks to see if he can fix the vertical hold*
Metal Man (GM): Julian: No knobs for it.
Julian Sawyer: *Tries hitting it, not hard enough to break it*
Metal Man (GM): You see where the consoles plug into the tvs; the plugs could be plugged in and out. The VG blinks normally once, then continues scrolling.
Julian Sawyer: *Consults the plugs*
Metal Man: "These people must not treat their equipment with respect."
Metal Man (GM): You could probably unplug that monitor and take it off.
Digifanatic: "Switch em around if you can, Julian."
Metal Man (GM): It has a normal monitor cable and power cord.
Julian Sawyer: *Plugged into the right places?*
Metal Man (GM): Yup. Plugged in correctly.
Julian Sawyer: "Plugs aren't the problem..." *Unplugs the monitor*
Digifanatic: "Hmm..."
Metal Man (GM): It unplugs easily. The monitor is turned off.
Julian Sawyer: *Plugs it back in to see if that fixed it*
Metal Man (GM): It turns back on... it now only displays a single dot.
Aetos: "Uh."
Digifanatic: "Hmm..."
Metal Man: "...Doesn't look any better to me... unless we have a microscope."
Digifanatic: "Try it again."
Julian Sawyer: "Someone touch the dot. Maybe it's touch-screen."
Digifanatic: "Alright." *He touches that dot.*
Metal Man (GM): You feel that it is a normal monitor. Nothing happens.
Digifanatic: "Nope..."
Julian Sawyer: "Crap..." *Unplugs the monitor and plugs it back in*
Digifanatic: "Maybe keep plugging it on and off... might be a sequence."
Metal Man (GM): Same dot of light.
Julian Sawyer: "..." *Unplugs the POWER and plugs it back in*
Metal Man (GM): The dot, it haunts you! The screen seems messed up.
Julian Sawyer: "Punch the screen."
Metal Man: "This reminds me of the elevator of annoying stuff."
Aetos doesn't seem to understand what they are doing, trying to unlock the door?...
Metal Man (GM): The other monitors continue displaying the color test and staticy stuff, as usual.
Digifanatic is gonna INT check this.
MrMonster looks around to see if there are any control stations with actual buttons... Or if there are buttons on the TVs.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: Plug it in, plug it out! Repeat ad infinitum! Just like Glade plugins...
Julian Sawyer: *Also tries an INT check*
Metal Man (GM): MrMonster: There's a keyboard and mouse next to each monitor.
Julian Sawyer: "...Anyone got a manual?"
Digifanatic: "I wish."
Metal Man (GM): Julian: Same as what Digi thought of, but you also realize that monitor is broken.
Aetos tries it as well, just for the heck of it.
Metal Man: "Not me."
Metal Man (GM): Aetos: Same as Julian.
Julian Sawyer: "...Screw this." *Unplugs the monitor and checks the monitor itself*
Metal Man (GM): You'd notice some places where snow got into the monitor and melted.
MrMonster walks over to some random monitor and presses random buttons.
Metal Man (GM): MrMonster: No response. I'll give you a hint. This puzzle is so simple, you'll be punching yourself in the head when you realize it.
Julian Sawyer: *Cleans out the snow*
Metal Man (GM): It looks clean... 'cept those burnt out parts on the monitor circuitry.
Digifanatic looks at this. "Oh... it got fried."
MrMonster checks to make sure the door really is locked... And he tries opening the door.
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Metal Man (GM): The door has no handles, and is firmly shut. It's, like, a door meant to stop anyone.
Aetos knocks on the door "Anyone in there?"
Metal Man (GM): You hear no reply.
Julian Sawyer: *Are all the monitors broken?*
Metal Man (GM): No. You see two perfectly good monitors displaying the color test.
Digifanatic goes to the one with the test pattern and examines the other set of circuitry.
Metal Man (GM): It's clean.
Digifanatic: "Hmm."
Metal Man (GM): And... sorta smells new.
Aetos changes the channel on one monitor...
Metal Man (GM): The monitor has no channel-changer.
Digifanatic tries unplugging and plugging this one.
Julian Sawyer: *Takes the broken monitor out, takes one of the new ones, and puts it in where the broken monitor was, then plugs it in*
Metal Man (GM): Voila, you have a working picture. Digi just manages to turn the monitor on and off.
Julian Sawyer: "Took long enough..."
Metal Man (GM): The control panel on Julian's monitor is simple. 'Open Doors' Security (On/Off)
Julian Sawyer: *Open Doors*
Digifanatic: "Okay... hey, what... oh maaaaaaaaaaaan."
Metal Man (GM): Alarm The door opens.
Julian Sawyer: *Security Off*
Metal Man (GM): It asks for a password.
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Metal Man (GM): Mist pours out of the door which you just opened. An upper part of this twisting path is behind it. Do you continue ahead?
Digifanatic: "Well... do you want to figure out a possible password, or move on?"
MrMonster: "... Try password."
Digifanatic: "Alright."
Julian Sawyer: *INT Check time to see if he can figure out a password?*
MrMonster steps back from the mist, wondering if it is poisonous or not.
Metal Man (GM): The password eludes you. The mist is... misty. Non-poisonous.
Julian Sawyer: "...Anyone got any ideas?"
Digifanatic: "I dunno."
MrMonster: "Besides password, no." *He continues onward.*
Metal Man (GM): The password seems uncrackable. You don't even know how long it is supposed to be.
Digifanatic: "Oh man... I'm going nowhere... and I'm thinking deep. I think we should move on."
Aetos: "Alright then."
Digifanatic: "I mean... it could be anything." *He moves onto the next room.*
Julian Sawyer: "...Screw this." *Moves on*
Aetos follows
Metal Man (GM): You see, up ahead, some more random gauges and three metal strips in the ground ahead. Do you continue walking?
MrMonster continues.
Julian Sawyer: *Checks 'em*
Metal Man (GM): They're made out of metal, they seem smooth, and serve no apparent purpose.
Aetos continues after Mr.Monster...
Julian Sawyer: *And the gauges?*
Metal Man (GM): Gauges hint at some sort of electricity... no buttons on them.
Digifanatic also wants to walk ahead.
MrMonster just continues on and past the strips, not concerned.
Digifanatic walks on.
Metal Man (GM): As MrMonster is about to cross the last strip... *SHOOMP*
Aetos stops before him
Digifanatic does so as well.
Metal Man (GM): It flies upward. A door! ...Well, more like a wall. *SHOOMP* One then opens up behind everybody.
Computer: *KRSTH* "Destroy intruders."
Julian Sawyer: "..."
MrMonster: "Hrm. . . ."
Metal Man: "In for it now..."
Metal Man (GM): Alarms go off.
Aetos: "Eek!"
MrMonster looks to see if the wall extends up to the ceiling.
Metal Man (GM): ...And a single robot hovers up. The wall does.
MrMonster turns around to face the others... And this robot.
Metal Man (GM): Questers vs. Rogue Security Bot. The robot is roughly shaped like a hovering bug; it is hovering over a pit, out of range of close-range attacks.
Julian Sawyer: "Guess it's time for a Hat Trick!" *Julian pulls off his fedora, pops the blade out along the brim, and throws it at the robot, slashing it 9 times then catching it on the return*
Metal Man (GM): The robot is hit every time. The Rogue Security bot takes several gashes. It responds by targeting Julian with a barrage of laser shots. 20 damage per hit, as blue lasers fly out of the machine at high speed.
Julian Sawyer: *Was at 120/30 anyway! KILLZOR'D Is lifted off his feet by the robot and lands in a Generic Blue Warp Portal*
Digifanatic: "Whoa..." *He tries to Feint this thing (toss a fake projectile, perhaps?)...*
Metal Man (GM): Miss. *Feint*
Digifanatic takes the chance to lob a Microwave at the Robot. He then uses a Thunderstorm.
Metal Man (GM): Well, that hits anyway.
Metal Man: "Take this, you hunk of junk!" *He shoots the enemy robot with an Ice Wave attack.*
Metal Man (GM): All hit.
Metal Man follows it up with a bunch of shots from his h8dryer.
MrMonster starts things off by quickly unsheathing Racualk (Quickdraw) and pointing the sword at the robot. Kinetic energy coats the blade before being fired at the robot, a Sword Shot. At the same time Mr. Monster's technique with this move rises! Beta level is now available for use. After the Sword Shot the Trulander rests the blade on his shoulder and with his free hand points it at the robot, sending psychic energy at it.
Metal Man (GM): Both hit.
Aetos blinks "Uhh." *He summons a melee stadium item! *Bunny Hood* "Not much going on on my part guys... don't have many ranged moves..." *He 'Push'es the robot some... he guesses.
Metal Man (GM): ...How'd you push it, again? Psychic energy? Ok. Well, roll for it. Hit. Ok.
Aetos shrugs. "No ranged moves really... but hey, bunny hood for your SPD based guns guys!"
Julian Sawyer: *A generic red warp portal opens up as Julian rises out of it, vengeful as all hell. He removes his fedora again and pops the blade out, and throws, the anger-charged hat slashing the hell out of the robot 6 times*
Metal Man (GM): All hit.
Julian Sawyer: *Catches his hat on the return* "...Where'd the Bunny Hat come from?"
Aetos: "From... you know what, no idea! I can just summon those things!"
Metal Man (GM): The robot vengefully continues blasting Julian with lasers. 20 damage per hit.
Aetos cringes.
Julian Sawyer: *KILLZOR*
Digifanatic: "Don't worry. I'll give him some rings when he comes back. Oh man..." *He uses an X Accuracy... then lobs another Microwave and Thunderstorm at the robot.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Metal Man attacks it with The Deathmachine.
Metal Man (GM): *Hitzor*
Metal Man then fires on it with some loudspeaker noise. "ULTIMATE SOUND WAVE ASSAULT!!!!"
MrMonster decides to try out his improved move; Beta Sword Shot... A more powerful image of a sword slams into the robot followed by the Trulander's Needles attack.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. All miss.
Aetos picks up the bunny hood before him and wears it, feeling foolish... He starts spinning his spear above his head much faster then normal, creating a thicker, stronger barrier of wind.
Julian Sawyer: *Rises from the depths of a generic red warp portal, mad as all hell* "Stop attacking me!" *Julian throws his fedora once more at the Robot, hoping to overdrive*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Digifanatic: "Julian. Get behind me if you can. I'll take the hit and give you Rings when I return."
Julian Sawyer: *O-O-O-OVERDRIVE!* "No way! I'm finishing this now!." *Julian jumps into the air as his Rocket Boots activate, and flies towards the Robot, then starts beating the hell out of it with a Speedbag attack*
Metal Man (GM): All hit. The robot takes a beating, then gets revenge and assaults Julian. 20 damage per hit.
Julian Sawyer: *Only takes 100 damage! LIFE! GLORIOUS LIFE!*
Metal Man (GM): ...Oh... yeah... all those hits sorta eat your OP. 4 of it, to be exact.
Digifanatic: "Thank goodness..."
Metal Man (GM): You better not run out of it over a pit.
Digifanatic hands Julian 100 rings.
Julian Sawyer: *Has 4/8 left, then*
Digifanatic: "Alright..."
Julian Sawyer: *Grab*
Metal Man: "Finish it!"
Digifanatic follows the same idea this turn as last: Microwave and Thunderstorm.
Metal Man (GM): Hit Hit
Digifanatic Eye Spies it!
Metal Man (GM): Tell me damage first
Digifanatic glances at the HP. "We're good to go. A couple good hits and he's done, especially with the crowd we have right now."
Metal Man (GM): Anything else, Digi?
Julian Sawyer: "And I can just finish him off if you guys can't."
Metal Man: "You had better, it looks dead-set on killing you." *He hurls a radio at the robot.*
Metal Man (GM): *BAM*
Metal Man then attacks it with more soundwaves.
MrMonster fires another Beta Sword Shot at the robot before downing a Maple Syrup.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Aetos shrugs at is options, and gives it another 'push' attack
Metal Man (GM): Anything else?
Aetos then heals himself with a hidden subtank, behind his cape *Uses up his 5 energy capsules he had with it*
Julian Sawyer: "Now you gonna get it!" *Julian finishes this thing by punching and kicking the robot to death with a Triple Speedbag*
Metal Man (GM): All hit.
Digifanatic: "There we go."
Julian Sawyer: *Finishes with a straight punch that sends the robot into the wall*
Metal Man (GM): What does the punch do? Roll it. Ah. You are stunned... the robot is still operating. Your fist merely connects to an electrical circuit.
Digifanatic: "...What?!"
Metal Man (GM): *BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP* Then it starts shooting you point blank. 20 damage per hit, plus 50 direct damage from punching the exposed circuit.
Julian Sawyer: *Death*
Digifanatic Eye Spies this thing before he attacks. "Oh boy..."
Metal Man: "I don't think it can take much more. That assault it did on Julian was about all it had left in it, it seems."
Digifanatic has to do something big... he starts with a Microwave again. He will not Lucky it. He tries another Thunderstorm.
Metal Man (GM): Then use your second action, and yes, it hit.
Digifanatic Overdrives off that... He then tries an OD Thunderstorm on the robot thingy. *Out of Luck*
Metal Man (GM): Hit miss hit
Metal Man: "Eat this, trash can." *He opens fire on it with a deadly Ice Wave.*
Charles Magellean finally arrives on the screen.
Metal Man (GM): The robot is destroyed. Shredded, then the pieces fall down the pit.
Aetos: "Heya Charles!"
Metal Man (GM): +1000 EXP to all.
Metal Man (GM): The walls fall down, and that usually talkative security system falls silent. Up ahead, you see... some cracks in the walls.
Julian Sawyer: *Is launched out of a generic blue warp portal, and lands on his feet* "I hate robots..."
Charles Magellean is as pseudo-evil looking as ever.
Digifanatic: "Hello Charles." (Not intended to be a Hello Newman rip-off) *He walks over to said cracks.*
Metal Man (GM): The cracks are thin, but definitely caused by something.
Julian Sawyer: *Knocks on them*
Metal Man (GM): You hear an echo through the wall.
Julian Sawyer: "Hollow. Break 'em down."
Aetos: "Huh..."
Charles Magellean: "With... pleasure."
Aetos blinks
Julian Sawyer: *Steps back*
MrMonster: "... I don't think that we should."

MrMonster sheaths Racualk.
Charles Magellean uses his X-Naut Ram technique onto the cracks in this wall.
Julian Sawyer: "You never think we should do anything."
Metal Man (GM): The wall crumbles back, revealing a treasure chest.
Aetos: "Ooo shiny."
Julian Sawyer: "There we go."
Charles Magellean backs away. He massages his shoulder.
MrMonster just continues on, ignoring the chest.
Julian Sawyer: "Nice job, Charles." *Walks over and opens it up*
Metal Man (GM): You discover 20,000 coins.
Digifanatic: "Nice."
Metal Man: "You take what you want, I have way too much money."
Julian Sawyer: "I'm assuming you don't want any loot, Monster?"
Metal Man follows MrMonster, towards the exit at the top of the twisting path.
Digifanatic: "Let's see... myself, Julian, Charles, Aetos, and Monster... Scratch Monster... That'd be 5,000 apiece left."
Julian Sawyer: "And Charles..."
Charles Magellean: "I will not take any."
Digifanatic: "I said him."
Aetos: "5,500 then."
Julian Sawyer: "That's 20 K split 3 ways."
Charles Magellean follows Mr. Monster and Metal.
Digifanatic: "6,666 for one and 6,667 for two."
Aetos: "Yeah..."

Julian Sawyer: "Nice view..."
Digifanatic: "Wonder how far up we are..."
Metal Man (GM): VERY familiar. But why? The snow somehow makes it even more so.
Metal Man: "At least thousands of feet."
Julian Sawyer: *What's on the other side of the bridge?*
Digifanatic: "I could hit a golf ball miles up here... okay, maybe not that much, but altitude definitely helps."
Metal Man (GM): There's another mountain.
Julian Sawyer: "Good thing the air doesn't get any thinner up here..."
Aetos: "No kidding."
Metal Man (GM): It's spectactular up here, but safe....
Julian Sawyer: "Right, so who's crossing first?"
MrMonster: "I will."
Aetos: "Um... k."
Julian Sawyer: "Go right ahead."
Digifanatic: "Feel free."
MrMonster starts across the bridge and makes sure he has a firm grip on the ropes.
Metal Man (GM): The bridge creaks a bit, but holds strong. Strong enough to hold many people.
Digifanatic starts walking across.
Aetos starts once Digi gets across.
Metal Man follows.
Metal Man (GM): You become closer to the other mountain...
Julian Sawyer: *Heads on*
Charles Magellean follows as well.
Metal Man follows.
Metal Man (GM): You reach the other side... something wrong here. A door, an old one, wrenched open, lays on the snow-covered mountaintop.
Julian Sawyer: "..."
Digifanatic: "Hmm..."
Julian Sawyer: "Someone must have gotten here before us..." *Heads in*
Digifanatic follows in.
Metal Man (GM): You see a dark room, with shiny metallic tiles, and long-dead monitors and computers. Some machinery lays around, other bits of it embedded into the walls.
Aetos goes in as well...
Metal Man walks in.
Charles Magellean walks in... his bazooka at the ready.
Metal Man (GM): The dexes beep.
Digifanatic opens his Dex.
Charles Magellean: "...?"
Aetos: "Hey. your... thingies!"
Julian Sawyer: "Again?" *Fishes his dex out of his back pocket and flips it open*
MrMonster unsheathes Racualk... The sword gives off a pale, purplish glow. He leans the sword on his shoulder and goes for his ancient dex.
Metal Man (GM): It says "Energy Transfer Complete." Then the lights suddenly turn on.
Digifanatic: "Again."
Metal Man (GM): As do several monitors.
Charles Magellean gets the dex, and opens it, puzzled.
Julian Sawyer: "...That already happened..."
Computer Voice: *Echo-y* "Intruders de-de-de-de-detected."
Julian Sawyer: "...dammit."
Metal Man (GM): You hear some machinery working in here.
Aetos: "W... why would your dexes do this to us!?"
Computer: "Stay where you are-are-are-are-are."
Charles Magellean shakes his head and closes the dex. He puts it back in the pocket of hardly used items.
Metal Man (GM): A steel plate seals the door out. Plexiglass lowers and raises to protect all of the equipment.
Julian Sawyer: *Closes his dex and places it back in his back-pocket, ready to fight*
Computer: "You cannot-cannot-cannot tamper with the -security-security-security- settings."
Metal Man (GM): The tiles glow a bit. Various targeting sensors scan the room.
MrMonster drips with sarcasm... "For some unknown reason... These death traps perhaps? ... I think that we shouldn't have come here."
Aetos smirks
Metal Man (GM): You hear various clicks in the room. Something unsealing... under the floor.
Julian Sawyer: "Only place we could have gone."
Charles Magellean moves his mouth around... itching for one of those blasted Solarian fanatics to come around.
Computer: "You-you-you are not author-author-authorized."
Metal Man: "Who the heck designed a security system which yelled at people?"
Charles Magellean: "I'm guessing E-E-E-E Li Three."
Aetos listens to the clicking... "Whats... happening... under us guys?"
Julian Sawyer: "And stuttered. Something not good, I guess."
Computer: "Ter-ter-terminate unknown en-en-enemies."
Metal Man (GM): Several floor tiles slide out. You hear a platform raising up.
Aetos backs up...
Metal Man (GM): It is about to raise up fully.....
Charles Magellean aims his bazooka... one eye closed.
Metal Man (GM): The elevator is coming up...
Computer: "Intruders must be destroyed. Defcon 1 Security breach."
Metal Man (GM): It finally slides into view.... A formidable robot. It's about eight feet tall, made of silver titainium, and has a black shield emblem over where its heart would be.
Aetos blinks
Julian Sawyer: "...Eh."
MrMonster looks at this robot, Racualk in hand. "... I think we may be in for a tough fight."
Aetos: "He's tall..."
S-001: "Unit S-001 activated. Terminate intruders."
Julian Sawyer: "Yout ain't so tough."
Charles Magellean aims his Pseudo-bazooka.
Metal Man (GM): It points its laser blaster and marches to attack you all. Questers vs. S-001 Advanced Defense Droid.
Julian Sawyer: "Let's go to work." *Julian pounds his fist into his palm, and heads towards the S-001. Julian winds up and opens with a haymaker to the body, then again with his other hand, then jump up and goes for an uppercut to the chin or chin-equivalent of the 'bot.*
Metal Man (GM): It stands strong as you hit it all three times. It takes the hits as if they were a joke.
Julian Sawyer then heads back to the group, rubbing his fist.
Charles Magellean charges up the Pseudo-Bazooka. Hate fires in his eyes as this could possibly be another Solarian creation. He fires the rifle-like weapon into the eight-foot tall machine.
Metal Man (GM): The machine stands there and shimmers a bit. A small flash occurs.
Aetos: "This thing isn't budging..."
Metal Man (GM): When it clears... you discover it hasn't even taken a dent from that blast.
Julian Sawyer: "..."
MrMonster points his greatsword at the security droid and a barrier of kinetic energy covers the blade. The Trulander thrusts the blade forward, the energy flowing from the sword and (hopefully) slamming into the robot... A Beta Sword Shot. Mr. Monster then concentrates and a pale, green barrier surrounds him... However, this fifth use of PK Shield expands Mr. Monster's knowledge... He can now use Beta PK Shield.
Metal Man (GM): CRIT.
Julian Sawyer: "...We're in trouble..."
Charles Magellean drops his mouth. He also drops the bazooka...
Metal Man (GM): It only takes a minor bit of damage from that.
Aetos: "You... OK Charles?"
Charles Magellean begins to shake.
Aetos: "Anyways..."
MrMonster: "... We'll just have to keep attacking it..."
Aetos absorbs one of the Robot's abilities!
Metal Man (GM): Nothing happens.
Aetos stands there..... "Uh... Ok...!"
Charles Magellean: "What... what kind of... of power can block the device designed to take down to cripple machines?"
Aetos waves his hands and summons his 3rd melee stadium item "This better help!"
Julian Sawyer: "This kind of power."
Charles Magellean: "But what is it!?"
Aetos: *Plop! Out of nowhere a Screw Ball appears!* "Well, what the heck is that!? Sigh." *He runs up and tries to impale the robot*
Charles Magellean picks up the bazooka. What was once fiery hatred has become fear.
S-001: "Destroy."
Julian Sawyer: "Aw hell..."
Aetos: "I'm scared..."
Metal Man (GM): It pulls its laser fist backwards, then SLAMS the floor. A wave of electric energy flies at everybody. SPD checks, everyone.
Julian Sawyer: "Whoa!"
Aetos: *Last lucky*
Metal Man (GM): Aetos, Charles: 35 electric damage.
Aetos starts buzzing a bit
Julian Sawyer: *Jumps over the wave as it passes under him*
Metal Man (GM): It then stands back up and unleashes a furious laser attack at Julian. It resembles Fox's hyper lasers on super-steroids.
MrMonster leaps above the electrical wave... Saving his PK Shield for more dire times.
Metal Man (GM): 15 electric damage per hit. It then turns towards Charles. Both of its sleeves open up, and it launches two grenades at him.
Charles Magellean: "O_O "
Julian Sawyer: "HOLY-" *Is cut off as he's forced to do some mad dodging, getting out of the way of all but 1.*
Metal Man (GM): Two inaccurate grenades.
Charles Magellean merely sits down to avoid the barrage.
Aetos: "PLEASE don't let that thing do that again!"
Julian Sawyer: "Gah..." *Shakes off that last blast then... Jeez, that thing didn't seem to be affect by those haymakers...* "If only we had a smash dex..."
Charles Magellean: "The machine would probably be able to block it."
Julian Sawyer: "I got an idea... But it depends on if this thing has ears..."
Aetos: "Well, lets say it doesn't, what's your plan?"
Julian Sawyer: "Draw fire. You guys don't seem to be that good at dodging attacks, but me, on the other hand, I've dodged everything except that stray laser. If you guys can keep dealing damage, I'll make him concentrate on me, leaving you guys damage-free, unless he tries that shockwave thing again."
MrMonster: "... And if it does, you'd talk about killing it in front of it!"
Julian Sawyer: "Again, it all depends on if this thing has ears."
Charles Magellean: "Truly doubtful." *He nods.* "Go ahead."
Julian Sawyer: "Alright then..." *Tries an attack that had no use until now... Insult!* "Hey big, ugly and blind! :Insert various computer and/or robot-related insult here:!"
S-001: "Target acquired."
Metal Man (GM): Anything else?
Julian Sawyer: "You can't hit nothin'!" *Julian rushes S-001, laying into him with a Beatbox, then flowing into a Breakdown*
Metal Man (GM): It doesn't even move to dodge those attacks. Ok.
Julian Sawyer: *Moves back to the group* "If you guys got any rings, now would be the time to use 'em." *Has 1 life left*
Charles Magellean morphs his arm into that of the XXXX A.D. rifle. He aims at the S-001, and fires 2 shots.
Metal Man (GM): First one misses, second one hits. The attack bounces off of it, dealing no damage.
Aetos: "Bummer..."
Charles Magellean morphs his hands into pistols and fires.
Metal Man (GM): Three hits.
Julian Sawyer: "...The hell you doin?! Fire missles at him!"
Metal Man (GM): It continues taking no damage.
MrMonster stands where he is, concentrating on powering up his fist with strong kinetic energy... A Meteor Smash.
Aetos sprints up to the tall robot, "Die die die!" he drills his spear into it [2 drill attacks] and then backflips away. He raises his hand, trying to force it up and slam back onto the ground [push], his cape flows behind him gently.
Metal Man (GM): All hit. Hit.
Aetos pants "That was exhausting..."
