Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 278: Ganondorf Smackdown

Metal Man (GM): Okay. Mission Questers: it's your turn again,
Headquarters
You're all in the warp room, which apparently has changed as well. Up on the second floor, it's one of the middle rooms.
Metal and Julian aren't quite there yet, though. They're discussing something downstairs, and so we see what they're saying first.
Metal Man: "So, Julian, you were going to say?"
Aribar enters the big room, now prepared for the mission. A circlet adores his head and some potion pouches and a short sword sheath his belt. Silvery blue links of metal make up a chainmail shirt and a dark blue cloak both now rest on the half-elf's body.
Dragoshi: "-And that's why I hate giant lobster monsters" *It appears Dragoshi's been making random witless banter with the others.*
Julian Sawyer: "Mets, can you reserve 4 spots in the Arena for me? I wanna lay out a few challenged 'fore this whole League thing gets underway."
Gibby leans against a corner of the room and waits for their mission to begin. He sighs and looks at the others. "What's taking so long?"
Metal Man: "Whatever you say. Now, on another note, if you're ready, we should go upstairs."
Digifanatic takes a look around at what has been going on, and suddenly peers over at Gibby (assuming he's still a Kirby after his leave had ended).
Dragoshi leans against the wall, waiting for the others.
Metal Man gestures to an elevator platform in the middle of the room.
Metal Man (GM): -->To Julian

Julian Sawyer: "First off, I wanna lay out a challenge to that traitor Aetos if he decides to show he sorry face 'round here again. An' then I wanna lay out a challenge 'gainst the deserters Garrick 'An Charles. Lastly, I wanna get a Team Challenge set up with those two new guys, them on the same team. I'ma choose my partner at the time of the fight."
Trigger leans against the wall with the others, waiting for the mission to start.
Metal Man: "Okay. That it?"
Digifanatic walks over to Gibby, smiling. "Hey, it's nice to see you back here."
Julian Sawyer: "That's all, Mets. Now les' get this thing underway..." *Heads into the elevator.*
Metal Man walks onto the elevator; the whole thing floats up, and appears in the Warp room.
Gibby looks to Digi and smiles back. "It's good to BE back... but I can't wait much longer..." He taps his foot impatiently.
Digifanatic: "Ah, I imagine as much."
Metal Man: "We're here now. Wish to see the new warp system?"
Gibby: "Finally! Now we can go?"
Metal Man: "...The old one of warp pipes was not only unpredictable, but unusable on floors above the first one, because we didn't have the room."
Digifanatic: "Okay, I gotta talk with someone else. Be right back..."
Julian Sawyer: "Why else we be here, Mets?"
Metal Man: "I'll let you guys do this mission yourselves; I'd offer my services, but I need to finish up that machine..."
*He presses a button on his wrist.* "Good luck."
Digifanatic walks away from the blue Kirby and heads over to Dragoshi, trying to acquaint himself with the Yoshi figure again.
Gibby: "I liked the warp pipes..." *Frowns.*
Dragoshi: "Ah. 'Kay, then. Good luck with that"2
Julian Sawyer: "Whatever." *Heads over to one of the pads/chambers/whatever.*
Metal Man presses a button, and in a flash, everyone appears to turn into light. they then reappear at the entrance to Lon Lon Ranch... sorta Star-Trek style.
Metal Man (GM): You are now in front of Lon Lon Ranch.
Julian Sawyer: "...Yeah, like that better."
Digifanatic approaches Dragoshi upon landing. "Hi. I tried to talk with you last time, but, uh... heh... guess I didn't it properly or something. I daresay that is quite an interesting warp."
Gibby looks around. "Wow... that was fast."
Metal Man (GM): You can easily see the same old walls, and the path which leads up into the ranch.
Aribar: "Hyrule..." *The elf looks about, uncomfortable about being in this realm...*
Metal Man (GM): It's peaceful out here; the sun is out.
Julian Sawyer: "Right, so there's sum Skull Kids comin' in here through some kinda portal, an' we gotta stop 'em. Les' go!" *Heads into the ranch.*
Aribar follows Julian into Lon Lon Ranch.
Dragoshi nods in response to Digi. "Quite. That might take some time to get used to."
Digifanatic: "So, who are you and what brings you here?"
Trigger follows Julian into Lon Lon Ranch.
Digifanatic starts to walk, motioning Dragoshi to keep pace.
Dragoshi: "Ah, right. Name's Dragoshi Leucrocuta Helldusk. I'm no one important, just a wanderer of sorts. ...Until I got punched into this realm by some occult god resembling a lobster on roids. But, that's a different story. " *Dragoshi the follows, keeping pace.*
Metal Man (GM): You walk on in; you look sorta like an army, even.
Digifanatic: "Heh... again, an account of someone entering here against their will or interest."
Metal Man (GM): Dang it... I forgot the names of the people. Malon, Talon, and... what's his face?
Digifanatic: "Yeah... that's quite the name you have there. Well, my name is Ian, but as you may have overheard, everyone calls me by a nickname I originally referred to myself as when I was first here--Digifanatic, and you're welcome to use just Digi for short, of course."
Metal Man (GM): Talon is right there. He seems to have been expecting you.
Talon: "Why, it's nice to see all of you ever since... how long has it been?"
Metal Man (GM): He pulls out a broken pocketwatch and stares at it.
Julian Sawyer: "Yo!" *Walks over to him* "10 years or so. We got word of a Skull Kid infestation. What's goin' down?"
Aribar: "Quite a long time... Eleven years or more I'd imagine."
Talon: "Many dreadful things have been going on here. And I don't mean Phantom; somebody exorcised him long ago."
Dragoshi: "Ah. 'Kay, then Digi." *Drago just stands there, curious about the situation.*
Digifanatic: "Alright."
Gibby just listens in on the others. Boy was HE out of the loop. But what else was new.
Talon: "So, you see, there's this... problem... just like I said."
Digifanatic: "Good to meet new recruits here. Never hurts."
Metal Man (GM): Talon points at the center of the field of the ranch; no horses are there.
The sky even looks sorta darker over there.
Trigger tries to follow along with the conversation.
Julian Sawyer: "...Yeah, that's a problem."
Aribar: "Seems a bit... Deserted."
Dragoshi: "...Where's the horses?"
Talon: "A big portal opened up, ate the horses, and then skull kids attacked us!"
Dragoshi: "...Did something eat them?"
Julian Sawyer: "So where's the Skull Kids at?"
Talon: "Luckily, the fence locked them in. Well, that's a funny thing about it... they come and go all the time. Must be looking for something, I reckon."
Aribar hrms... "Perhaps they're coming in from the Dark World?"
Gibby: "The...*Gulp*...dark world?"
Dragoshi: "...Huh."
Talon: "Dark World? Yeah, Link said something about it... but then something odd happened elsewhere to preoccupy him."
Digifanatic: "Man... why is it that every time Ivan promises utopia... Things have got to happen?"
Editor's Note: Digi would be excellent at writing Editor's Notes.
Gibby: "Please... everyone knows a utopia isn't possible."
Trigger: "Yeah, even I know that."
Talon: "Anyway, all you have to do... is kill them and make them not come back."
Dragoshi: "...Damn right, dude."
Aribar: "Do you know of anything that might be hidden on this ranch?"
Digifanatic: "Well, it all seems promising."
Talon: "Hidden? There's nothing to hide. We had this whole place rebuilt... there was this big nasty Magitek thing sitting where our storage barn was!"
Gibby: "That's our specialty!"
Dragoshi: "...Ah. Simple enough. Removing godless killing machines and/or overzealous god-worshiping fiends was always a profession of mine."
Digifanatic: "Ah, yes."
Dragoshi: "...Wait a sec."
Talon: "So... just walk on out there and they should pop up. They did when Link came."
Dragoshi: "...'Kay"
Aribar nods. "I suppose you should get inside and out of harm's way then."
Digifanatic: "Ah."
Trigger: "Well... should we go in now?"
Dragoshi: "Don't see why not"
Julian Sawyer: "Easy." *Julian reaches into his back pocket, pulls out a lightsaber hilt, and ignites it, an orange blade shooting out* "Alright, we all know what the plan is? Good." *Heads in.*
Digifanatic: "Alright."
Gibby: "I suppose if we must, we must."
Digifanatic follows Julian on in.
Dragoshi: "But, first..."
Trigger takes out his pistol.
Aribar starts out towards the field.
Dragoshi mutters something, then a helmet materializes, covering his head. "There, much better." With that, Drago takes out his scythe, and follows Julian and Digi.
Metal Man (GM): You wander into the field, upon which an unholy rune appears in the middle.
Dragoshi: "...Huh, well..."
Metal Man (GM): It looks like the Triforce of Power, though faded.
Then a big old portal opens up... a purple one.
Digifanatic: "Oh man..."
Julian Sawyer: "Looks like I's gonna start... Get ready!" *Drops into his fighting stance.*
Metal Man (GM): A single Skull Kid falls out and onto the ground.
It looks at you... and attacks.
BATTLE!
Questers vs. Skull Kid
Inits?
Dragoshi uses his built in Scan Visor to analyze the unholy rune from a distance.
Aribar: "So much for negotiating!"
Metal Man (GM): Scan Visor would detect high amounts of dark energy and ancient magic in the rune, but nothing else.
Trigger puts a scope in the pistol.
Dragoshi: "...Woah, this thing's tellin' me there's some bad juju comin' from that rune, guys."
Julian Sawyer: "No -CENSORED- duh! You think it might have something to do with the -CENSORED- Skull Kids?!"
Gibby: "Hey now... no need for that kind of language."
Metal Man (GM): Order: Julian, Aribar, Dragoshi, Digi, Gibby, Skull Kid, Trigger
Dragoshi: "...No ****, sherlock" *Dragoshi replies in response to Julian.*
Gibby sighs. "How annoying..."
Julian Sawyer: "Watch an' learn." *Julian dashes towards the skull kid, slashing it horizontally and vertically for a quick One-Two Cut!*
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
The blade of Vendetta smashes into pieces.
Disintegrates, whatever. It's dead... though those two hit!
Aribar: "...Did your blade... What kind of armor does this thing have?!"
Digifanatic: "I almost don't want to know."
Dragoshi: "...Huh."
Julian Sawyer: "...You gotta be -CENSORED- KIDDIN' ME! I just used this to take out the Void, HOW COULD IT BREAK?"
Metal Man (GM): The Skull kid appears somewhat wounded; a few good hits could finish it off.
Aribar extends his left arm and lightning crackles around his hand. It lances off the elf's body and flies in the skull kid's direction. (Lightning. Mental Save.)
Julian Sawyer: *Glares at the Skull Kid* "You... This' your fault!" *Julian quickly pockets the hilt, then lays into the Skull Kid with a Machine Gun Punch!*
Gibby: "That's... not good."
Dragoshi: "...What the shiart?"
Metal Man (GM): Hit ..How many uses of machinegun were on that?
Then it's only two hits.
You deal plenty of damage to it; it's nearly dead.
Machinegun Deals another hit for every 5 above enemy AC; however, this has the side effect of -2 to hit or -(5 + level/20) damage per use. +5
I'm sorry, but even if that is the case you cannot magically take advantage of an oversight I had.

The old broken machinegun is dead.
*clears throat, continues (unless for some reason you have more time to attack)*
Editor's Note: Ah, nerfing people mid-session. Maybe do that a bit earlier, so it's not so abrupt and rude, past self.
Julian Sawyer: *STILL NOT DONE.*
Metal Man (GM): Okay, then finish it.
Julian Sawyer finishes up by jumping back, and launching his bladed-rim Fedora at the Skull Kid for a Hat Trick!
Metal Man (GM): Hit, miss.
Aribar extends his left arm and lightning crackles around his hand. It lances off the elf's body and flies in the skull kid's direction. (Lightning. Mental Save. Turn over.)
Metal Man (GM): ...Well, sucky save, good roll. What'll you do?
Well, technically a good shove could kill this Skull kid now.
Dragoshi chuckles, then breathes out a gout of flame at the Skull Kid. (Flame Breath, 3 TP, - 8 SP)*
Metal Man (GM): Luck, however, is not on your side; that bugger dodges it.
Anything else?
Dragoshi twitches, then swipes at the basteecheo with his left claw. (Swipe, 1 TP)
Metal Man (GM): Actually, it hits.
He's now... even more near death.
Digifanatic starts off with a Fire Punch, not hesitating to try and wallop the guy around a bit. Afterwards, he takes a step back and keeps on going, leaping at the Kid and giving him an Aerial Strike. (entire turn)
Dragoshi: "...Will you just DIE already?"
Metal Man (GM): It dies relatively quickly, turning to dust.
+150 EXP to all.
Gibby grumbles. He never even had to lift his sword.
Aribar: "Those things could be tough in a pack... Julian, how's Vendetta?"
Julian Sawyer: "MotherFU**ER." *Stomps the dust.*
Dragoshi: "...Okay, next."
Digifanatic: "Right." *Continues.*
Dragoshi follows Digi
Aribar stays at the gate to the pasture and well away from the dark symbol on the ground.
Trigger follows Digi.
Julian Sawyer: "...THERE AIN'T NOWHERE TO GO! Why you guys walkin' off?!'"
Metal Man (GM): Hmmm... where's Digi going?
The only place to go is... a dark portal.
Digifanatic: "Sorry."
*He walks back.*
Dragoshi: "Eh."
*He walks back as well *
Metal Man (GM): Talon walks over.
Talon: "...Well, that worked out well. However, that portal is still there..."
Julian Sawyer: "So we jus' smash the rune."
Talon: "...I think the only way to actually get rid of it is inside of there."
Trigger smacks into a wall.
Dragoshi: "...Yes. That it is."
Talon: "The rune? That's magical stuff. It's a magical drawing... not an object."
Aribar: "...Into the Dark World without a Moon Pearl..."
Julian Sawyer: "So run your foot over it."
Trigger runs back over to the others.
"So... what did I miss?"
Julian Sawyer: "You goin' into the portal."
Trigger: "...Wha?!"
Gibby: "How fun."
Digifanatic: "Well, then."
Aribar takes a few calming breaths and walks over to the rune. He unsheaths Moonlight, his blue elven blade and drags the blade through a part of the triangular rune.
Digifanatic: "I'm no stranger to entering strange portals. Anytime you're ready."
Metal Man (GM): The rune is merely an image; the sword moves through it like it wasn't there at all.
Digifanatic: "I will be..."
Trigger: "Whose going in first? Not it."
Dragoshi readies his scythe. "Well, I'm ready too. I guess."
Julian Sawyer: "Hold up..." *Julian takes his Dex out of his back pocket and dexes the run and the Portal.*
Aribar wipes Moonlight on some nearby grass and sheaths it.
Dragoshi: "...Not it."
Gibby: "I'll go in!"
Smash Dex: "Dark World Portal. Unknown origin. Considered to be of Ganondorf's magic."
Gibby walks over to the portal, takes a deep breath, and runs right into it.
Trigger: "Thanks for taking one for the team Gibby."
Gibby: "It's what I do--*Gone*"
Julian Sawyer: "...Man..."
Aribar takes a deep more calming breaths, mutters, "I hate the dark..." and jumps into the portal.
Dragoshi: "..."
Metal Man (GM): Gibby vanishes, as does Aribar.
Trigger dives in the portal head first.
Dragoshi shrugs. "Mreh." He then dashes into the portal.
Metal Man (GM): They both vanish into the portal.
Julian Sawyer: "...Ain't likin' this one bit..." *Reluctantly heads in.*
Metal Man (GM): DARK WORLD
You enter the Dark World, and find yourselves at the center of some sort of temple... one praising Ganondorf.
In fact, Ganondorf's likeness is everywhere.
You aren't changed in shape, which is strange... but besides this, the area appears to be normal.
Gibby: "Psh... like the big oaf really needs to make his ego any larger."
Metal Man (GM): You're in the middle of a sort of arena.
Several signs line a circle surrounding you.
Dragoshi: "...Yeah, seriously."
Metal Man (GM): They all say 'STAY OUT OR RISK GANONDORF'S WRATH'
Julian Sawyer: "...Well, too late for that."
Metal Man (GM): They form sort of a barrier, though you can walk right between them and towards the temple proper.
Trigger: "Ohh, I think I'm gonna hurl, let's not do that again."
Dragoshi: "...Then we nothing to risk then, huh?"
Julian Sawyer: "Wait... this is the Dark World, ain't it? Why ain't we changin' shape 'n stuff?"
Aribar looks around the group. In a temple dedicated to Ganondorf, the rules of the Dark World not working as normal, and being in an arena? he doesn't like this one bit.
Gibby: "Looks like a scare tactic to me."
*He looks at himself. * "Hey... you're right. That's odd."
Dragoshi: "...Yeah. What the 'ell is up with that?"
Digifanatic has of course, followed up with these guys..."Weird things I say."
Aribar looks to see if there's a way back to the Light World.
Metal Man (GM): The portal behind you remains open.
You can walk past the ring of signs, or stand here, or go back; nothing appears to have happened... yet.
Aribar: "So... We either go into the jaws of the beast, or go back to the Light World and try and find a way to erase the portal."
Julian Sawyer: "..." *Walks over to the ring of signs, and sticks his hand through*
"Think it's been established that we can't erase that rune..."
Metal Man (GM): Your hand goes right through... and you hear a wolf howl.
Then you hear... the steps of many foes.
Dragoshi: "...Sometimes it's better to take care of the problem at it's source rather than to run away. And, I believe now is definitely one of those times."
Digifanatic gets a look at what he can at the signs.
Gibby: "I say we attack Ganondork and finish him off once and for all!" *He pulls his sword out and points it at the temple. *
Metal Man (GM): From the four entrances to the temple around you (You're in the middle of a circular, arena-like area, and exits in each cardinal direction) pour... Stalchildren.
Aribar shudders as he hears the howl.
Gibby: o_o"...what was that?"
Digifanatic: "Ohhhhhhhhhhh boy."
Dragoshi: "...!!"
Aribar unsheaths Moonlight. "I do not like the undead..."
Metal Man (GM): The signs burn down and vanish, and a sort of skeletal orchestra begins playing a battle theme.
Trigger: "What's going on?"
Metal Man (GM): Ganondorf himself appears atop a chair, high up in the 'stands' of this odd stadium-temple.
Gibby: "It's battle time, my friend..."
Julian Sawyer: "...Son of a -CENSORED-, MORE Skeletons..."
Metal Man (GM): The Stalchildren, all 20 of them (5 from each side), come to a stop, facing you... apparently Ganondorf has something to say.
Julian Sawyer takes his hand back and heads back to the middle.
Ganondorf: "What brings you to my stadium?"
Trigger: 0_0 "Well $#!%!"
Dragoshi already has his scythe ready, due to the Weapon Slot in his armor.
Aribar: "You have invaded Nintendus with Skull Kids."
Julian Sawyer: "You been the one sendin' out Skull Kids, Ganon?"
Dragoshi: "...Great."
Ganondorf: "No one else controls them but me. How is that surprising?"
Trigger loads his pistol.
Digifanatic: "It isn't."
Julian Sawyer: "You in for a world of hurt, then."
Dragoshi: "...I'm not surprised then"
Ganondorf: "...I wish to have the triforce back, and to take over Hyrule. Little known to you fools, I have had easily 10 years to recover my strength. Unlike my foolish and easily defeated partner, Bowser, I did not cower in the face of Kuja; had you not beaten him... I would have tried myself."
Dragoshi: .oO(...How ****in' cliched can you get?)
Ganondorf: "And it is likely... that I would have won, had you meddling idiots not gotten in the way."
Editor's Note: I almost wish that was the ending of Season 6 instead. Woulda helped deal with the loose ends way better than The Void, anyways.
Trigger: "Hey Ganon!"
Aribar: "Do not get too cocky, warlock."
Julian Sawyer: "You gonna keep talkin' or you gonna send in your little army to get its -CENSORED- kicked?!"
Ganondorf: "I saved you from him in the interest of having you open him to attack... but you survived him. Yes, it is about time I saw you die. Stalchildren, attack!"
Dragoshi: "...Quite."
Trigger: 0_o "I don't think I'm ready for this."
Metal Man (GM): The Stalchildren march up... and... get ready to smack you.
Julian Sawyer: "Deal with it."
Metal Man (GM): BIGGER BATTLE!
Questers vs. Stalchildren army
Order: Julian, Aribar, Dragoshi, Digi, Gibby, Skull Children, Trigger
Dragoshi: "...Yeah. Definitely didn't expect the spanish inquisition of Stalchildren"
Metal Man (GM): They form a box around you; they're all within 1 TP of you.
You can attack them with pretty much any of your attacks.
Julian Sawyer rushes one Stalchild, and goes to legsweep him!
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Julian Sawyer then places his boot at its head as it lies prone on the ground, starts up his Rocket Boots, and runs the flame down the length of it's body for a 3-Second Tan! 30 Fire damage.
Metal Man (GM): Ah.
Julian Sawyer then jumps back and launches a Hat Trick while it's still down!
Metal Man (GM): Turn over?
Aribar: "Hrm... Aha!" *The elf points his blade at the group of Stalchildren away from the way to the temple (Not sure which direction). Moonlight glows white with magical energy before an explosion fans out in a conical shape, hopefully engulfing that group of undead.* (Bang which has a 30 ft. Area of Effect, Cone. Mental Save for all those involved.)
Metal Man (GM): Hmm... 3 of them are threatened by that. *smacks his computer.*
Dragoshi turns around and looks at the Stalchild Julian damaged. He breaths out a burst of flame at it, in an attempt to further weaken it. (Flame Breath, 3 TP, -8 SP)
Metal Man (GM): Miss, just barely.
Dragoshi flips the Stalchild the bird. Turn over. (Flipping it off wasn't an attack.)
Editor's Note: I almost wish it was... imagine, one could use it to taunt enemies into attacking you!
Digifanatic starts off his turn by Dexing one of the Children and then goes for an Aerial Strike on the one most damaged one (end turn after).
Metal Man (GM): Hit, miss, brb.
Dex: "...DING!"

Aribar is smacked around a good bit... A very good bit. Another round or so of that and he's dead.
Digifanatic is hit three times..."Can't believe I forgot that shield..."
Julian Sawyer's smacked twice, but one's a crit @_@
Metal Man (GM): Also. Trigger: How many hits on you?
Ok. Just checking that you understood how that works.
Now you may do your turn.
Trigger strikes the weakest stalchild with a smash attack. (Smash Attack 1 TP 10 damage)
Metal Man (GM): 10 damage, indeed.
Dragoshi is hit twice for...22 HP? Seeing as he did the math like (22+22-22=22)
Trigger points his gun at the same stalchild he attacked and opens fire. Magical shot (Damage: 5+weapon damage(2) magical damage, chance of confusing target. Accuracy: Weapon's accuracy (+8)) -8 SP, -3 TP.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Confusion... hmmm..
..There aren't any under the current system.
The enemy is confused. It starts spinning around.
Trigger starts to power up. Vigor up(Buffs or restores 1 STR point of target.) (end turn)
Metal Man (GM): You already used 4 TP.
But, still, end of turn.
New Round
Julian Sawyer rushes the one he's been attacking, laying into it with a Kick Punch Punch SPEEDBAG.
Metal Man (GM): KICK MISS MISS WHIFFBAG
Anything else?
Julian Sawyer: *Screw it, conserving my two TP.*
Aribar tries to get into a more favorable position for a conical spell (1 TP?) and fire another Bang spell at the group of Stalchildren he asploded earlier. (Bang with a 30 ft. cone. Mental save.)
Dragoshi glares at the most badly damaged Stalfos, pulls his left claw forward, and attempts to ram it through said Stalfos. (Impaler, 2 TP, 21 damage if it hits)
Metal Man (GM): Okay. Anything else?
*Poke.*

Without further waste, he fires two beams of light at that SC (1 TP per) and then pockets that odd thing. If it isn't dead, he smacks it with his Golf Club. If it is, he Clubs the next weakest one (2 TP).

It then emits a brief series of bolts from the stone, straight at its target...

Ganondorf is somewhat amazed at your audacity as he is hit by them all. However, his armor turns them into weak 2-damage hits.

Digifanatic: *Unsure of what to do about the situation, he decides that it's best to follow the others' plan and concentrate on Ganondorf for the time being. He heads toward his direction and, in a burst of cold air, attempts to plant an Icy Kick on his torso. After that, he uses one more Light Ray on the big guy.*
Dragoshi sighs, and concentrates a huge amount of energy, which is starting to well up from under Ganondorf, then, Dragoshi, deciding to skip the over-elaborate chant just yells "INDIGNATION!" and strikes Ganon with a huge blast of lightning. (Indignation, charged. -6 TP, -16 SP. (Just in case SP cost doubles)
Digifanatic: *Unless he has divine luck against Ganondorf's lack of speed, he gon miss wildly.*

Aribar: "Don't get cocky! He still has at least one trick up his sleeve."
Metal Man (GM): He holds up a fist, and then powers up, as the Stalchildren crumble into dust.
Dragoshi: .oO(...Though, I think he's gonna pull out his trump card now...)
Julian Sawyer: "What'd I say!"
Metal Man (GM): All his wounds heal, as he becomes more muscular, and his armor becomes etched out of steel.
Dragoshi: "...Yes, quite. Thank you for stating the damn obvious, Ari."
Metal Man (GM): He becomes 3 feet taller and gains a weird third eye tattoo in the middle of his head.
Trigger: "God, why don't you die Ganondorf?!"
Dragoshi: "Hmm... What trickery is THIS?"
John (GM): The phantom simply folds its arms as it looks up at the transforming magician...
Metal Man (GM): +2095 EXP to everyone
Ganondorf: "I am now... Ganondorf 2!"

Dragoshi assumes a stance.
Metal Man (GM): Behind you, you would notice a newly visible rune... the same rune which summoned the portal in the first place.
Dragoshi: "...Of all the-"
Ganondorf 2: "I shall kill you all for daring to fight me... my fight with Hyrule is between me and Link alone!"
Dragoshi: .oO(My GOD, can't he come up with a ****ing ORIGINAL name!?)

Metal Man (GM): He draws out a sword... the one seen often during SSB:M. Then he marches slowly towards you.
Trigger notices the rune. "Is that his weakspot?"
Kojiro blinks a few times, then points at Ganondorf and begins laughing his ass off.
Dragoshi: .oO(...Cue Link bursting in through the goddamn portal like any other cliched hero... Or not)
Metal Man (GM): He's getting into slashing range... what do you do?
Flee, attack rune, fight Ganondorf?
The rune is made out of stone, and looks relatively easy to smash.
Aribar quickly unsheaths Moonlight again. He has no idea what he'll do... But the half-elf will stand and fight Ganondorf!
Trigger: "Hmm, we have to try attacking the rune at least."
Dragoshi: "Quite. I like it when someone thinks on the same wavelength as I."
Kojiro: *Looks over towards the rune, before bringing his free hand up and begins focusing his elemental energy inside his palm, staring on before he fires off his invisible blast technique* (Elemental air, add full MTL, add range)
Trigger loads a new clip into his pistol.
The Wraith: *Drifts over to the side and raises the stone, blasting off a couple barrages at the stone rune... Need to roll?*
Julian Sawyer just runs over and smashes it with a KnuckleDuster.
Metal Man (GM): No need to roll.
Julian Sawyer: "Nuh uh! I already won round 1, ain't gonna be round 2! Not now!"
Metal Man (GM): The stone is broken. Ganondorf stares at it.
A portal to the light world opens up, sucking everyone into it like a vacuum.
Trigger: "Now what?"
Aribar: "Gah!" *The elf tries to back way from the portal.*
Dragoshi: "Holy-!"
Ganondorf 2: "Fools! You have triggered my rune. Even though that ranch will be safe from my encroaches... you will be unable to die to me in contact as you wish!"
Kojiro looks on at the ground, before getting sucked up and in to the portal.
Ganondorf 2 brandishes his sword as everyone is sucked out back to the ranch.
Julian Sawyer: "Already beat you once, punk! And I just done it again!"
Talon: "...I have no clue what you were doing, but all of the cursing I heard must have meant a lot of fighting..."
You land on the ground.
Dragoshi: "Bah! Shut up you dumb****! I've dealt with your crap enough as is!"
Talon: "...Hmmm... yes, the portal is gone... and... what's this?"
Julian Sawyer: "We kick his AND his little army's -CENSORED-."
Trigger: "...I need a vacation."
Dragoshi: "...Yeah. We did."
Metal Man (GM): Talon stares at what appears to be a piece of Ganondorf's shattered gauntlets.
Kojiro: *Lands hard on the ground on his back with a thud, blinking a few times. He then takes his rune knife in hand and places it back in to it's sheath then stands up to his feet* *...*
Talon: "...You beat Ganondorf too?"
Dragoshi: "...that was nuts!"
Talon: "Well... uhhh... I guess I'll have to pay you all for that too."
Julian Sawyer: "An' I'll be takin' that..." *Yoink.*
Aribar sheaths Moonlight and stands there once back at the ranch... He's not sure what to think right now.
Trigger: "Hell yeah it was nuts!"
Dragoshi: "Man, I'm gonna have FUUUUNNNN, if missions are gonna be like-Yes"
Metal Man (GM): MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: +20,000 coins
Dragoshi: "...Thanks."
Metal Man (GM): In addition to stopping the portal, the Questers gave Ganondorf a surprise beating, making him think twice about invading Hyrule again. Will he strike again? We'll have to wait and see,
Dragoshi takes his helmet off
"Ah, much better. The damn thing was giving me helmet hair."
Trigger holsters his weapon.
Julian Sawyer: "An' we done here. C'mon fellas, let's bounce." *Calls in a mass warp back to base on his Dex. Or however this new warp system works.* @_@
Talon: "...140,000 coins is a lot to pay, but our ranch will probably be safe for quite a while."
All of the Questers suddenly vanish, Star Trek style, and appear back at HQ.
Dragoshi puts his weapon away.
Talon: "...I'll never get used to that."
You're all back at the big room. Metal is feverishly typing.
Trigger: "Man, I could use a nap after that."
Metal Man: "...Well, good job, everybody."
Julian Sawyer: "Yo! Mets! We back!"
Kojiro blinks a few times, dusting his rear off then gets teleported. He looks around, slightly confused of where he was.
Julian Sawyer: "...Wait, who the HELL are you?"
Metal Man: "And you... somehow... brought back some other person too. I wondered why the system warped something from another dimension to your area."
Trigger: "Yeah, and I... died."
Dragoshi does an arm pump.
*He then looks at Kojiro.*
Julian Sawyer: *Smacks Dragoshi* "Find yo' own way a' talkin'."
Metal Man: "Well... good job. That mission was done better than expected."
Dragoshi: "...Huh. Seems we did."
Kojiro looks towards Dragoshi, then waves a hand slightly.
Metal Man: "The mission selector shall be online soon... you'll be able to check out some other ones eventually."
The Wraith slowly bows to Metal, drifting somewhat unsteadily from side to side.
Metal Man looks to The Wraith.
Julian Sawyer: "...An' looks' like we brought back a ghost too."
Metal Man: "...And it also brought in a ghost? My heavens. This system is bizarre."
Dragoshi ducks under the smack
"...Eh."
Metal Man: "I better ask Dr. Light why it's randomly warping in people. Oh well."
John (GM): The ghost makes some strange rasping sounds, though nothing comprehensible...
Dragoshi: "...yea, verily."
Metal Man: "...We may need a device to communicate with it too."
Julian Sawyer: "Better."
Metal Man presses a button; Dr. Light walks in.
Dr. Light: "...This is unexpected. It appears the warp system has been picking up hitch-hikers in need of thrills and fighting from across the multiverse."
Kojiro tilts his head to the side, before turning around and decides to see if he can buy himself another weapon, long range this time.
Dragoshi snaps out of the Shakespearean talking.
Metal Man: "...Can you fix it?"
Dr. Light: "No."
Dragoshi: "...Okay. That was weird."
Metal Man: "...Why is it always the same?"
Dr. Light: "I didn't make all of it, you know. Professor Oak and his Pseudocubes... they drive me mad sometimes."
Dragoshi: "...Eh. More teammates for us. ...I think."
Metal Man: "Aha! Clearly, it is the pseudocubes... but we don't have anything else, so... we're stuck with that side-effect."
Dragoshi: "...Ah."
Trigger: "Hmm..."
Dr. Light: "Now, if you can excuse me... I must finish that selector system you keep bugging me about." *Bows, then walks out.*
Julian Sawyer: "So we gonna let 'em stay?"
Metal Man: "Why not?"
John (GM): The shade, unable to speak its piece, simply places its right hand upon the left side of its chest in a sign of allegiance while looking directly at Metal.
Metal Man: "Unlike the old holes in reality, I have yet to see any vicious beings to be brought in."
Julian Sawyer: "Well, ain't none of 'em talkin'."
Metal Man: "I'll talk to them later, myself... I'm pretty tired."
Aribar: "So... Errr... We are dismissed?"
Metal Man: "Yes."
Dragoshi: "'Kay. Ah. Perfect. If any of you need me, I'll be getting something to eat."
John (GM): The figure bows again as it slowly backs away, and fades out through the wall...
Aribar quickly heads off to his room, still disturbed from the mission...
Metal Man: "I'll go with that shadow guy's allegiance thing for his signature for now, and get the other guy's signature when I don't have numbers flying in my head."
Julian Sawyer: "Kitchen's on the map... An' Mets, I'ma talk to you."
Kojiro: *Looks around slowly, making his way down the hall with his hands in his pockets* *....*
Dragoshi: *The young warrior exits the room, and goes of to the kitchen to get a well-deserved snack for a job well-done.*
Trigger: "Well, I'm off to my room. G'night all."
*He walks off to his room to sleep.*
Julian Sawyer: "Mets, two things."
Metal Man: "What, exactly?"
Julian Sawyer: "First," *Holds up Ganondorf's Gauntlets* "What you want me to do with these?"
Metal Man: "You can have them remade into workable versions for a price... or throw them away. Or keep the broken parts."
Julian Sawyer: "Maybe keep 'em as a trophy... Second."
Metal Man: "I have no attachment to belongings of our foes."
Julian Sawyer takes out the hilt of Vendetta, then tries igniting it "Mets, first thing I did, Vendetta shut off and ain't turnin' back on. Suggestions?"
Metal Man: "...Weird..."
*He tries to think.
* "It was one of a kind..."
Aetos: "Hello, Ghosty!"
Metal Man: "Do you know anything about it? Gerald's dead, and it is a prototype as far as I'm concerned. Nothing like it exists anywhere."
Julian Sawyer: "Man ALL I KNOW is that Gerald made it, it runs on a battery, an' it just broke."
Metal Man: "Well, not even Dr. Light can help you... see?"
*He gets up, and picks up the barrel of it, and points at a variety of weird screws.
* "Simple scans show nanotechnology beyond our comprehension runs this. Just unscrewing it could destroy it.
...So I suggest, if you fix it, you should, because none of us want to be blamed for breaking it."
Julian Sawyer: "...Look, I got nanomachines in mah gloves, maybe I can do somethin'. Like how you own somethin' for so long you know how it works... We got any open workshops? An' an Idiot's Guide to Repair Work or somethin'?"
Metal Man: "We have the library on floor 2, and a lab in floor 3. Use them as you wish."
Julian Sawyer: "Righ'...Thanks Mets. I'll call ya when I wanna activate that challenge, hear?" *Heads to the elevator and floor 2*
Dragoshi finishes eating his snack, leaves the kitchen, then goes to get his armor upgraded.
Kojiro: *Would walk in to the room where Julian had left from, looking around he then spots Metal Man and begins to approach calmly* *...*
Julian Sawyer: *Enters library* "YO! You got any book on weapon repair?"
John (GM): The shadow simply makes itself scarce after leaving the Big Room... It's difficult to track through walls and such. Nobody knows where it's roaming now, but it'll likely show up again when another mission rolls around.
SIMBER: "10,000 virtual books found."
Julian Sawyer: "...Lower the list down to swords."
SIMBER: "2,000."
Julian Sawyer: "Light sabers."
Metal Man (GM): brb a sec
SIMBER: "...100."
Julian Sawyer: "...Vendetta?"
SIMBER: "... ... ... ... Searching... searching...

Julian Sawyer: "Gimme."

Metal Man (GM): A holographic, half-burnt page from a collection labeled 'Salvaged from Gerald's lab' shows a partial schematic and details on it.
Strangely enough, your own mind... fills in the details. You see it as if it is whole, even though the half it fills in is hallucinated by you.
Julian Sawyer: "...Whoa... I'll take it."
SIMBER: "You can carry the paper in your hands, download it to your dex, or print it out. The original is too fragile to expose to air, because Gerald attempted to destroy his papers with an unknown solution.

Metal Man (GM): You reach the lab quickly; it has a large desk and an array of tools held in glass cabinets mounted on the walls.
Julian Sawyer: "Guess that thing I said about you own it long enough, you know how it works..." *Julian lays out Vendetta's hilt, props up the paper so he can read it as he works... and gets to work.* "Hope I don't blow this..."
Metal Man (GM): You get to work on it... this will take all night. *Fadeout on Julian.*
