Metal Man (GM): The fighting; it helps me improve the game.

Metal, is, once again, at the arena. He half seems to live there these days.

Charles Magellean stands in the middle of it. It's almost time to switch places.

Aetos is sneakily sleeping in the stands, not having a room of his own.. except his old one.

Julian Sawyer's standing opposite him with his arms crossed, staring him down "Mets', I can't believe you want me to fight you 'gain."

Metal Man (GM): He looks visibly different.

Metal Man: "Well, what can I say--I'm persistent. Charles, I'll deal with your problem immediately after this battle."

Charles Magellean: "Why I stand here does not correlate to what we discussed about."

Metal Man: "Oh. Well. If you want to fight Julian, you can right after this fight here. You're right... perhaps you should fight someone else."
*He snaps his fingers and morphs into The Void.*

Charles Magellean: "It still will not happen." *He opens a portal right to his side, slides into it, and appears at the bottom of the ring when he slides out of that portal.*

Julian Sawyer: "...Damn. When'd you learn to do that?"

The Void: "Just recently. Metal doesn't really want to fight you... it was I who preferred to fight."

Charles Magellean leans on the side of the Arena. He puts his hands under his head so he's somewhat comfortable.

The Void: "I work a bit differently than he does. So you're going to have to invert your game to win."

Julian Sawyer: "Hmph. Whateva, man. After I beat you for a 3rd time, mind not challenging me again for a while? Gets a bit stale beatin' down the same opponent, hear?" *Shifts into his stance.*

The Void: "Heh... heh... heh..."

Metal Man (GM): Julian Vs. The Void

Charles Magellean scratches his face, as though he's about to make a remark. He doesn't, though.

Metal Man (GM): Order: Julian, The Void

Julian Sawyer: "An' I know how you ghosts work. Same reason why I developed the Focus Slam."

The Void: "I will be the judge of that..."

Charles Magellean: "Me, my entire arsenal can take them on. Coincidence, it is."

Julian Sawyer: *Which is exactly the move Julian starts the match with! Energy flows into Julian's gloves until they glow a deep red, then Julian charges the Void, attempting to grab him... but failing. The energy in Julian's gloves then decide to blast through the Void instead, burning him greatly! If this hits, that is.*

Metal Man (GM): He is hit... barely. He moves very fast.

The Void: "Your magical power is weak..."

Julian Sawyer: "Hm. You faster than Mets... Lemme show you my other Focus attack..." *Julian rears back, gathering energy into his outstretched fist until it glows a light orange, then slamming it into the Void for a Focus Punch!*

Metal Man (GM): He is not so fast as to dodge that; such would be godly.

The Void: "Taste the fury of the X-zone!"

Julian Sawyer: "It don't gotta be strong, I just gotta hit enough to take you down. Lucky you ghosts don't have much endurance!" *Julian drops back, his TP expended.*

Metal Man (GM): He holds out a hand, and what looks like a massive beam of chaos flies at you at high speeds.

Julian Sawyer: *GodDAMNIT.*

Metal Man (GM): *NUCLEAR EXPLOSION*
152 damage after crit.

Julian Sawyer: *EXPLODED! Julian's sent flying from that one, landing flat his stomach after doing a couple of flips in the air. Thud.*

Charles Magellean: "..." *He doesn't even know what to say.*

Julian Sawyer: *After resting for a few minutes to catch his breathe, Julian gets back up to his feet, weaving a bit* "...DAYMN! What the hell was that?"

Charles Magellean looks in Julian's direction, a look of o_O puzzlement on his face.

The Void: "It was... my most powerful attack... hitting you at your weakest point."

Charles Magellean looks in The Void's direction, same expression.
He makes several attempts at speaking, but he just lets out semi-disgruntled sighs.

Julian Sawyer: "Don't matter. You still goin' down!" *Julian gathers that same orange energy into his fists again, then stomps over to the Void, pummeling him over the head with a series of overhand Focus Punches! CRIIIIITCAL!*

Metal Man (GM): They all hit, mostly due to the fast nature of them.
10 10 20 10.

Julian Sawyer then lays back again, Smirking. "You got one chance, Void. I'm gonna pound you into the ground next turn!"

The Void: "Hmmm..."

Metal Man (GM): The Void sits there, powering up.

Charles Magellean puts one hand to his forehead, doing a forehead slap, and slowly pulling it down his face.
"This is going to be a repeat of the last two fights."

Julian Sawyer: "Blew your chance!" *Julian repeats the actions of his last turn, beating the Void down again with 4 quick Focus Punches.*

Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit, hit, hit.
He is hit... repeatedly... but does not die. In fact, he seems to have just a shred of HP left.

The Void: "My chance... hahahahahaha... I cannot blow chances, Mr. Sawyer. I already lost them all."

Charles Magellean: "Including winning."

Metal Man (GM): He powers up... and then all of a sudden the entire area goes chaos-y.

Julian Sawyer: "...This ain't good."

Metal Man (GM): Then... he reaches out, attempting to grab you.
Lightning flies from his eyes.
The ground explodes out from under you.

Charles Magellean: O_O "Oh dear lord this is gonna get ugly..." *He backs up a bit to avoid being hit.*

Metal Man (GM): A gigantic deathray like the previous flies out of his mouth at you.
Four shoes fly at your head.

Julian Sawyer: *Luck.*

Charles Magellean: "Shoes... flying shoes again."

Julian Sawyer: *Fjuck this is gonna hurt.*

Charles Magellean: "That borders on chaotic and retarded."

Metal Man (GM): 45 + 10 damage, 90 damage as The Void recovers 30 HP, 45 damage from the explosion, 76 damage from the deathray, 10 damage each from the two hits of shoes.
The Void wastes a gigantic chunk of his HP and would be vulnerable to hit if he hadn't just exploded a good chunk of the arena.

Julian Sawyer's shield activates somewhere in the middle of that...
*And it breaks following the Deathray...*

Charles Magellean gets up. "...Is it over?"

Julian Sawyer survives with 6 HP left!

The Void: "Impossible... that attack was calculated to destroy you when you were closest to victory... I will survive long enough to finish the job."

Metal Man (GM): Oh! And I forgot some of the lightning's damage.
Or... not.
Ok. It is what I said.
Got it confused with Metal's attack.

Charles Magellean: "...This battle determines the outcome on so much..."
*He would be on the edge of his seat if he was sitting.*

The Void: "I'm more interesting to fight than Metal, aren't I? So... predictable..."

Aetos stands somewhere slightly behind Charles. "I think I actually want Julian to win."

Editor's Note: Given The Void is not Metal, I, the Future Me, actually wouldn't care if The Void loses either.

Julian Sawyer's down again after that, almost battered to the brink of unconsciousness... And then he struggles back to his feet "Goddammit, jus' fough' you atta end o' the *Censored* wurld, now I gota figh' you 'gain..." *He's apparently been beaten to the point where he's slurring his words. That's bad.*

Charles Magellean gasps. "I've never seen Julian look this beaten before."

Aetos: "Seen him dead... but not this injured."

Julian Sawyer: *He's also stumbling all over the place. That blast HURT. He eventually gets his bearings semi-straight, stumbles over to The Void, and lets fly a wild barrage of more Focus Punches, not having the mental capabilities at this point to focus enough for the Focus Slam.*

Metal Man (GM): All hits.

Julian Sawyer: *You know the rest* "Bu' I ain' gona bac' do'n..."

Metal Man (GM): Not surprisingly, The Void is pretty weak himself.
He eats up most of his turn recovering from hurling all that stuff.
Then he hurls a random punch at Julian.

Julian Sawyer: *Smack.*

Metal Man (GM): 15 damage.

Charles Magellean: "..."

Julian Sawyer: *If Julian had 5 more HP, he coulda survived that. That random punch is enough to send Julian down for the count! Julian collapses, landing back first, out like a light! KO!*

Charles Magellean: "...Oh my lord..."
*He looks to The Void.*

The Void: *He stares for a moment, and then punches the air in victory. An explosion occurs where his fist touches the air.*

Charles Magellean: "...A... a Quester beat Julian in a duel."

Editor's Note: BUZZ. The Void, a Quester? No! Metal cheated! And I'm the guy who played him! And the GM! I actually wanted Metal to beat Julian... but that's the thing. Metal IS NOT THE VOID.

The Void: "I have done the impossible..." *He coughs a bit* "...that was horribly painful."

Aetos tilts his head. "I wonder how much [HP] Metal... The Void had left."

John (GM): *The Void would hear clapping from behind, in the stands...*

Metal Man (GM): You'd see it on up the scoreboard.

The Void: "Just one TP saved me... otherwise he probably could have defeated me. Err... fraction of a second."

Charles Magellean looks up to the sky.

Dragoshi: *The Void would hear a semi faint chuckle behind in the stands as well.*

The Void: "Do not fear... I have no need to challenge you again." *He tosses a maxshroom at Julian, reviving him.*

Julian Sawyer: *Damn, Julian is OUT! He's-Well, nevermind.*

Charles Magellean: "Lord Bahamut... I thank you once more. You have performed another miracle in my eyes."

Editor's Note: Bahamut must hate you, because summoning The Void to beat Julian is like summoning a demon to defeat your foe: You feel good for about the first few seconds, then you realize you now summoned a powerful enemy.

The Void: "I will not claim to be the master of the arena, though." *He points at Charles* "You could probably kill me with a few good spells."

Aetos scratches his head.

Charles Magellean looks to The Void. He smirks. "Ahh, but it is Metal that defeats me. It is the both of you combined that are the deadliest combination in the building."

The Void: "You're right. All of that battle experience had to go somewhere."

Charles Magellean looks to Julian. "The elders were right when they said that nothing ever stays the same. I've seen the impossible been done several times before, but all of them are different and unbelievable at first. You want me to help lift you up?"

Julian Sawyer: "Nnugh..." *Julian seems to be regaining consciousness...* "...So close. Only won 'cause of yo' heals." *Julian pushes himself up with his arms, and slides his legs under him to stand up.*

Charles Magellean: "Perhaps he did... but I believe you've taken the first step to changing. The question is... will you turn back."
*He walks away from Julian and walks nearby The Void. He turns his head to see it.*

The Void: "Hmmm... this fight... shows my new purpose in this strange mockery of an existence called life."

Julian Sawyer: "... I STILL got no idea what you're talkin' 'bout, Shrink."

Metal Man (GM): Also. For the splendid fight, I give 2000 EXP to both me and Julian.

Charles Magellean: "I will find a way to have our duel that Fate had denied both of us in all five of our encounters."
*He looks ahead, not looking to Void.* "One where you were as yourself... and not as you are now."

Julian Sawyer: "Holo Rooms when they done should have The old Void as a battle, I heard."

Charles Magellean walks forward... then pauses.

Aetos growls at what Charles said on the inside.

The Void: "Soon enough."

Charles Magellean: "...It would take more than just the Holo Rooms to bring about the Duel of Destiny."

The Void: "That shall require nothing less than the seven chaos emeralds or their likenesses."

Julian Sawyer: "Too bad, that's as close as you gonna get."

The Void: "My full form was with the power of chaos itself behind me. Chaos has moved on and I no longer desire infinite destruction. I now crave... battles with every Quester, CAL participant, Holo room enemy, and perhaps a few mission foes."

Charles Magellean: "...Neither of you understand what I talk about."

The Void: "I cannot know the customs of your people or even the Questers... being more of an outsider."

Charles Magellean: "It will be in a way... that transcends the traditional thinking."

Aetos follows Charles on out, when he leaves.

Charles Magellean: .oO(It will require a greater catalyst than just the holo rooms... I will find it.)
"I leave you all for sleep. I have not slept since 38.8 hours ago."

The Void: "I also require rest... though I can cheat."

Metal Man (GM): He snaps his fingers and Metal appears.

Metal Man: "Huh... let's see... did you win as always, Julian?"

Julian Sawyer: "...He's more of a freak than you are."

Charles Magellean begins walking to his room. He lets out a bellowing yawn that shakes the foundation of the building.

Aetos salutes Charles. "Aye-aye." Still going to follow him out.

Metal Man: "Well. I'd expect that... what with his obsession with flying, exploding things."

Dragoshi: *From behind in the stands* .oO(...Crap. Did he say EVERY Quester? ...Yeah... I damn well hope I get strong enough to master that spell of mine before I face im') *He then almost falls over from Charles' yawn, and quickly sneaks back to his room.*

Metal Man looks at the scoreboard. "Hmmm... Kirby must have lost a lot of money on that fight."

Aetos starts to feel the rumbling from the yawn. "Waoooaah!" then it subsides soon enough. "Sheesh..."

Julian Sawyer: "Talkin' 'bout Charles, but whatever. And your boy The Void pulled off an Upset, following a death attack from hell and a heal."

Metal Man: "...I see. His offensive power is his obsession, so I guess I can see how that happened."

Charles Magellean arrives in his room. He lies on his platinum made podium, and stretches. He opens Garrick's dex...

Julian Sawyer: "Three words: He Got Lucky."

Metal Man: "So THAT'S where my luck went... Sheesh. Stealing it from me and forcing me to get several beatings for his own vanity."

Charles Magellean: "...So he still hasn't changed. I'm disappointed." *Gets off dex frequencies. He uses the dex for the secure purpose....*

Julian Sawyer: "An' I still got an undefeated record 'gainst you. Remember that." *Heads out of the arena, presumably towards his room.*

Aetos yawns... .oO(I'll be able to help him, then.) He falls asleep.

Metal Man: "Well... perhaps I can try to break that next."

Charles Magellean closes his dex. He lets out another bellow of yawn, puts down the dex, and goes to sleep.

Metal Man (GM): SPECIAL MISSION
The group is in the Big Room. this thing is very urgent, apparently, as many people, even perhaps Leon Yetch, are there.
Metal rushes in. He looks at the screen.

Julian Sawyer: "What's goin' down now, Mets?"

Sairo: "Looks like we got a handful with this one."

Metal Man: "...Yikes... this looks nasty. You're going to have to stop this before whoever broke in there re-activates it."

Charles Magellean: "Are you saying that no one has completely dismantled the Dimensional Cannon yet?"

Julian Sawyer: "Can't be that hard..."

Metal Man: "...It was mostly destroyed. The very bottom part survived, though."

Dragoshi: "...Huh."

Sairo: "That figures."

Syaoran is just there, kinda confused. He just followed everyone around, still trying to figure out how to get home. "What is going on?"

Metal Man: "Whoever it is... has to be pulling something really sneaky. It shouldn't be usable."

Dragoshi: "...How stereotypically contrived."

Alexia: "And they were able to repair it from that? Wow."

Julian Sawyer: "...Tha's still dangerous. ...Wait a sec, when did these two show up?" *Points to Syaoran and Alexia.*

Metal Man: "...As a result, we must ensure they do not fully re-activate. Oh. One mission or another. Our teleporter seems to be sending in people a lot."

Alexia: "I, uh, kinda popped in at Shooting Star Summit. Still don't know how."

Julian Sawyer: "Gotta get someone in on fixin' that..."

Sairo nods.

Metal Man: "I'm not sure if it's possible."

Aribar enters the Big Room a bit late. "Sorry I'm late. Putting on armor with only one arm is a pain..."

Dragoshi nods too.

Metal Man: "Anyway. The best way to deal with it is to hurry... everyone ready?"

Alexia glances towards Ari for a moment.

Julian Sawyer: "Well it's gettin' kinda ridiculous... An' yeah, I suppose..."

Sairo: "I'm always ready!"

Alexia: "I'm ready when you guys are."

Dragoshi nods.

Aribar: "Ready... For something."

Syaoran: "Are we going somewhere?"

Metal Man: "Uh. Yes."

Dragoshi: "Understood. 'Sides, this would be disastrous if we laid off on this mission"

Julian Sawyer: "...Ain't you been listenin'?!"

Metal Man looks around. "Is Leon Yetch here?"

Sairo: "He's new, Julian. He doesn't know any better."

Aetos: "Yessir."
*He walks up from the crowd of people.*

Metal Man: "Ah... well... better get on the elevator then."

Wolfman is waking up slowly...

Julian Sawyer: "He should at least pay attention When we all gather in here!"

Charles Magellean: "Impunctuality is something we do not tolerate."

Metal Man looks left, then right, and then points at the elevator dramatically.

Wolfman hears commotion from... somewhere... he is currently in R&R.

Alexia walks into the elevator.

Sairo rushes to the elevator before he gets squished to death.

Julian Sawyer: "Here we go!" *Julian heads into the elevator.*

Aetos follows the pointing to the elevator.

Wolfman: "...by the Matrix... what is going on...?"

Charles Magellean: "Let none seek to break the seal of the X-zone." *Walks onto the elevator.*

Wolfman attempts to follow.

Aribar looks at the new recruits. Their ranks have definitely increased since the fall of Kuja... The elf steps onto the elevator.

Julian Sawyer: "Yeah, last thing we need is The Void gettin' power hungry again..."

Metal Man: "Just a maniac attempting to revive Kuja's cannon of dimensional devastation."

Dragoshi dashes into the elevator.

Julian Sawyer: "That too."

Wolfman growls, more awake now.
"...good enough."
*He follows the group into the Elevator... if all of them can fit in.*

Metal Man (GM): Y'all start getting on. It expands to fit you.

Sairo: "Thank goodness this thing expands."

Syaoran stretches and walks into the elevator. "This is so weird..."

VG: *watches what's going on from another part of the Big Room* .oO(Good luck guys.)

Dragoshi: "...Yeah, seriously, man. Thank goodness this expands."

Julian Sawyer: "You'll get used to it. Or else."

Metal Man: "Good luck... you'll probably need it."

Charles Magellean: "Become used to this lifestyle. The Quester life demands it."

Alexia: "Oh, joy."

Wolfman: "I'm used to much harsher; don't worry."

Metal Man leans back, as the elevator slowly takes off, with everyone aboard.

Julian Sawyer: "Mets, we got a f ***kin' MOB here! Ain't gonna be no problems."

Sairo rolls his eyes at those two. They were way too rough on the new guys.

Dragoshi: .oO(I have a feeling we'll DEFINITELY need it, no matter how big our ranks are)

Metal Man (GM): The elevator floats up... and... WARP!

Dragoshi: .oO(...Even if it IS a ****ing mob)

Metal Man (GM): You appear in front of the ruins of the Dimensional Cannon.
At the very bottom, where you are, the remnants of Kuja's tower's walls sit.

Wolfman teleports down with the rest, Megaman style.

Julian Sawyer: "Let's go!" *Heads towards it.*

Alexia: "So this is the big bad howitzer..."

Sairo nods and follows Julian.

Metal Man (GM): The front doors are closed, and blocked by rubble.

Dragoshi follows Julian.

Wolfman gets a good look at his surroundings, trying to take things in...

Sairo: "Hmm... gonna have to clear that."

Metal Man (GM): You reach the front door... and a holo-message is projected from it.

Alexia follows Julian. She keeps looking at the ground as she walks.

Wolfman: "This place does seem spooky..."

Aribar looks at the tower as he follows Julian. "Yech. This place..."

Metal Man (GM): Huh... thought that was broken.

Wolfman catches up with the others, in time to see some holo message.

Sairo watches the holo message.

Metal Man (GM): It is... the image of Ivo Robotnik, sitting at what looks like a reconstruction of the firing room for the cannon.

Julian Sawyer: "...They musta already gotten inside."

Syaoran looks around with a curious look on his face. "So... we're trying to get in or something?"

Wolfman turns to the one that spoke.

Ivo Robotnik: "Hah hah hah hah haaaa! Behold my latest work of GENIUS!"

Julian Sawyer: *Facepalm* "Man, you GOTTA PAY ATTENTION!"

Wolfman: "Usually, they like the frontal approach."

Dragoshi: "Quite."

Aribar: "That's one of the Robotniks... That means there ought to be robots a plenty to deal with."

Ivo Robotnik: "I have... the ultimate weapon... right in front of me. Do you know what this means?"

Dragoshi: "Indeed."

Aetos: "Robots... bah."

Metal Man (GM): He types a command.

Alexia: "Er, I could probably clear this rubble, given a bit of time."

Wolfman: *To Ivo, sarcastically* "You'll win the Nobel Prize?"

Dragoshi: "...You could singlehandedly annihilate the planet?"

Julian Sawyer: "...Wait a sec. Didn' Metal say Ivo was on our side now? Or at least not evil?"

Metal Man (GM): The screen gets a 'FIRING" message on it... the massive cannon begins charging up."

Dragoshi: "...Oh shiz."

Ivo Robotnik: "Within but a few minutes... I shall re-enact the cannon... and use all of Kuja's research... to rule the planet!"

Aribar: "Does it look like he's trying to help us, Julian?"

Ivo Robotnik: "Then... I can build... ROBOTNIKLAND!"

Julian Sawyer: "...Aw hell nah!" *Can Julian boost over the wall?*

Dragoshi: "...Of all the insane..."

Wolfman: "Perhaps there are many Robotnik's... and this one is bad."

Metal Man (GM): The ground rumbles. So much-so that the rubble settles, leaving you a door in.
The door, however, is locked. Better smash it.

Sairo: "He's at it AGAIN..."

Wolfman feels a rumbling... and a door appears.

Alexia: "...Lucky coincidence."

Aribar: "Woah... So much for thinking that message was a fake."

Dragoshi attempts to smash through the door.

Charles Magellean has that vein in his forehead again.

Wolfman: "Alright, let's open it..."

Julian Sawyer breaks the door down!

Wolfman sees the others attempt to break down the door.

Metal Man (GM): You hear a deep rumbling, as the cannon begins charging. Julian: STR check.

Aribar steps back and lets Julian do his thing.

Julian Sawyer: *Goddammit.*

Wolfman: "...fine: I'll help out. Stand back."

Julian Sawyer uses his OTHER fist.

Wolfman: "Stand down."

Dragoshi: "Sure."
*He stands down.*

Metal Man (GM): Your hand bounces off the door... twice.

Syaoran sighs some. "Can you hurry?"

Julian Sawyer: *Kick!*

Gibby: "Looks like SOMEONE needs to go to the gym more."

Dragoshi: "Though... Let me have a crack at this if you fail."

Wolfman approaches the door, backs up, then does a Rocket Tackle to the door special move.

Metal Man (GM): It finally breaks open, and Wolf rockets inside... into a wall. *SMASH.*

Julian Sawyer: "...You were sayin'?"

Dragoshi: "..."

Metal Man (GM): You're now in the newly cleared reception area.

Alexia covers her mouth and snickers a bit.

Julian Sawyer hurries inside.

Dragoshi: "...Huh."

Alexia: "Real smooth, wolf."

Wolfman finds himself through the door... and in a wall.

Dragoshi quickly follows Julian.

Metal Man (GM): The former Kuja monitors no longer show images of Kuja and words of worshiping him.

Aribar enters the tower, hand resting on the hilt of Moonlight.

Wolfman: "I specifically said to stand down Julian..."

Gibby rolls his eyes and enters.

Metal Man (GM): He has reprogrammed them to show his own face instead.

Julian Sawyer: "An'? You ain't the leader."

Dragoshi: "Bloody egotist."

Syaoran walks inside. "So... we seem to be looking for a giant cannon right?"

Wolfman gets his bearings.

Metal Man (GM): The entryway is a long hallway, with statues... of... Eggman... lining it. Holographic ones.
10 of them.

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Dragoshi: "..."

Gibby: "Lovely..."

Alexia: "Bet you a coin there's a trap in here."

Ivo Robotnik: *PA* "Trying to break into my base, aren't you? I'll make you regret this!"

Julian Sawyer: "Do you have some kind of Mental block or somethin' that stops you from paying attention? ADD?"

Ivo Robotnik: *PA* "Turn back now if you value your lives!"

Wolfman turns to the Ivo voice.

Aribar: "Great. He knows we're here."

Dragoshi: "...yeah, 'cause hallways like this ALWAYS have a stereotypical or non-stereotypical trap! ...But, regardless."

Wolfman: "...actually, considering my recent life, whatever happens happens."

Charles Magellean: "I believe you do if you try responding to a recorded holographic message."

Wolfman: "Bring it."

Dragoshi: "...Dude. He'd prolly' know already since... WE BROKE THROUGH THE FREAKIN' DOOR!"

Wolfman: "Guys, get ready."

Gibby: "True."

Ivo Robotnik: "Take this!"

Gibby waits for the inevitable trap.

Julian Sawyer: "Show me what'cha got!"

Syaoran is looking behind a few monitors and just sighs. "You know... we coulda' looked for a better way in..."

Metal Man (GM): The statues suddenly come to life. Highly advanced technology turns them into towering, 15-foot behemoths.

Alexia pulls out her laser gun.

Gibby: "Stone giants, eh? That figures."

Metal Man (GM): They get into combat stance and advance upon all of you in an orderly fashion.

Julian Sawyer: "Hmmm..." *The hallway leads to the cannon, right?*

Dragoshi readies his scythe
"Egg Golems?"

Aetos backs away, acting frightened.

Metal Man (GM): One moment; Calculating stats.

Syaoran walks over to teh group, looking and the golems, then chuckling some and finally dropping into a fighting stance. "You think winds will do some damage to them?"

Wolfman gets in his 4 legged battle stance.

Alexia: "Trying to fly over these guys would be suicide... Looks like we fight."

Wolfman: "If any of you feel like you need a ride or a team up, give me a signal of some sort. But don't dogpile me all at once."

Editor's Note: So many Questers... they'd need a bus to properly give them ALL a ride...

Gibby takes out his sword and narrows his eyes. He was ready for this one.

Aribar: "Whatever hurts rock will hurt these guys." (27 Initiative.)

Dragoshi opens his mouth in response to Wolf, but doesn't seeing as he only as a bad pun.
"...Let's get this over with" (25 Initiative)

Wolfman: .oO(I hope I'm ready for this.)

Metal Man (GM): Hmm...

Wolfman will wait to see if anyone wishes to team up so soon.

Aetos holds his arms in front of him to block his head. "I don't think I could hurt these guys..." he defends.

Dragoshi takes out his Dex and attempts to scan one of the Statues.

Aribar points Moonlight at the statues and the blade charges up with white energy. The elf cries out an arcane phrase and a cone of magical power flies out to engulf the states. (Bang, 30 ft./3TP Cone)

Dragoshi: "...Nice one."

Gibby decides to try and fight these statues. It's the best way to know the enemy after all. He dashes towards a random statue, leaps up at the head, and slashes it twice horizontally.

Julian Sawyer: "...Damn."

Metal Man (GM): They both take 50 damage. Gibby hits twice.

Wolfman decides to hold up... his normal moves can't make a dent unless he smashes, and he wants to have some protection room.
He goes DEFENSE for his full TP.

Dragoshi goes on the defensive, conserving his remaining 3 TP.

Julian Sawyer also defends, wanting to get a good look at what these things can do before he acts.

Syaoran slides one foot back and grins. "Let's see what I can do." He rushes at the first one and flexes his left hand. He hops up a little and then slashes across it's body with his open hand, like he has claws, a silver stream of light following...

Metal Man (GM): Hit!

Charles Magellean sees the plan of some... he goes into a clutched + defensive stance as well. (4 TP, end of turn)

Aribar is slammed back a good couple of feet. Luckily his armor took a little bit of that blow...

Ivo Robotnik: "Yes! that's it! Smash them into dust! Then throw them at one another!"

Metal Man (GM): A counter appears on the ceiling.

Gibby rubs his head.

Syaoran gets smashed into the ground and coughs up blood. "He stays down for a bit, but then gets back up. "Damn... that was a hard hit..."

Julian Sawyer: "...That ain't good."

Wolfman looks at the counter.

Metal Man (GM): NEW ROUND

Alexia: "AH, $%^#."

Dragoshi: "...Well...****."

Gibby: "...Always SOMETHING."

Aribar: "We really, really, really should just skip these guys!"

Charles Magellean: "NOW we gotta target one at a time."

Aetos cringes from the attack and defends again.

Alexia uses Mend. 15 HP healed to all within 2 TP.
She then defends (end of turn)

Wolfman recovers some health, even though he's a reploid.

Aribar thanks Alexia and fires off a cone of intense magical energy yet again. (Bang, 30 ft./3 TP Cone.)

Gibby feels slightly better thanks to Alexia. He decides to go straight to defense this time. He needed to store some TP for later.

Wolfman is going to get hit no matter what this round... he decides to try to search for a way out (noncombat ability, 2 TP, no bonuses or anything) (unsure of rolling)

Metal Man (GM): Yet another blast hits all of the statues.

Dragoshi concentrates on the first statue, and a miniature cyclone of wind energy appears in an attempt to throw it. (Cyclone.)

Metal Man (GM): It is hurled into the second statue again, taking an extra 15 damage.

Julian Sawyer: "I ain't got time for this..." *Julian activates his Rocket Boots, and tries flying past the statures through the hole Dragoshi just opened up!*

Metal Man (GM): The other damage takes the same damage.
Two Statues attempt to grab Julian as he flees.

Charles Magellean did his best to defend. He became crushed. He responds...

Metal Man (GM): Err... one.
They both grab Julian. One courteously lets go; the other hurls Julian like a missile at Dragoshi.

Charles Magellean begins moving his hand slowly around the first statue.

Wolfman attempts to find a way out of here WITHOUT fighting.

Charles Magellean has a lock-on. The statue is too much of a strain for him to pick up, so he begins to wobble it back and forth. He makes it rock to the point of colliding into the second statue.

Julian Sawyer: "...Alright, that didn't work..."

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman finds nothing.

Syaoran takes a deep breath and draws back his left hand. He rushes at the first statue and grins. He stomps down and smashes his open. -Impact Claw 2 charge

Wolfman tries AGAIN then, using the other 2 TP.

Dragoshi assumes a defensive stance, saving up his 4 TP.

Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Also, Wolf discovers the statues are the major thing in the way.
There is no other way.

Wolfman will have to use his specials wisely then.

Julian Sawyer: "...Alright, I got an idea." *Motions Alexia over.*

Metal Man (GM): Well, no.
However the effect differs.

Alexia: "What is it, Julian?"

Julian Sawyer whispers into her ear... A master plan!

Syaoran glares at the statues some. "Damn... ok... next time, I'm playing dominoes" (end)

Alexia grins.

Alexia: "You got it."

Wolfman wonders what those two are planning...

Gibby: "What's going on?"

Charles Magellean can see his own plan... but doesn't have details etched into it.

Julian Sawyer: "Good." *Julian turns his attention back to the Robotnik statues.*

Wolfman: .oO(Maybe if I have to, I can do some Biting for hopeful stunning)

Julian Sawyer: "All you need to know is to hold back on the next next round."

Gibby: "...riiiight."

Ivo Robotnik: "You've been playing catch with my robots... how about I play catch with you? Hahahahaa!"

Syaoran: "Wait... you don't want us to attack?"

Wolfman heard Julian... and at least he was giving enough warning.

Wolfman: "Basically."

Metal Man (GM): They attempt, one by one, to grab everyone except Julian.

Charles Magellean makes a backflip to escape the stone man.

Syaoran tries to get away, but is grabbed. "Get off... let me go!"

Wolfman can't escape.

Metal Man (GM): So... that's Syaoran, Wolf, Aetos, and Alexia.

Charles Magellean waves his finger at him.

Aribar is grabbed by that evil statue...

Julian Sawyer: "...Aw hell."

Metal Man (GM): And Aribar.

Dragoshi sees only him, Jules, and Charles weren't grabbed.

Metal Man (GM): The statues then hurl them like missiles at Julian.

Dragoshi: "...Oh cosmic hellfire."

Alexia: "AAAAAAAGH!"

Wolfman would attempt to Rocket Tackle in the other direction to counter if he had the TP... but he doesn't.

Charles Magellean: "Whoa holy *Random Lunarian speak*."

Metal Man (GM): Damage is per hit: 55+Respective Quester's DR to both the Quester involved and Julian.

Dragoshi: "...Holy *Random draconic speak*."

Metal Man (GM): The sheer destructiveness creates a massive crater in the floor.

Julian Sawyer is FJUCKED.

Gibby: "And NOW would be a good time to run away..."

Alexia slams to the floor and gets up. Very slowly.

Ivo Robotnik: "Wahaha! Take that, loud mouthed fool!"

Alexia: "Ow..."

Aribar tries to use his powers of Chaos to at least avoid colliding with Julian. (Err... Using 5 CP to teleport 10 feet to the right if allowed.)

Wolfman rolls a bit, but recovers.

Metal Man (GM): Not only did you take 110 damage, but you fly at Julian too fast to CC away from.

Dragoshi: "...Big indeed."

Julian Sawyer: *And yeah, Julian's out like a -CENSORED- light right in the middle of it.*

Gibby is going to try and RUN past those statue guys. He was tiny, so maybe he could get past their legs in time.

Aetos shakes his head and stands. "Ugh... my head..."

Dragoshi: .oO(Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn dammity damn Amsterdamn damn, beaver damn, damn damn DAMN!)

Wolfman: "Can anyone here provide me a barrier?"

Metal Man (GM): Gibby: As you run, two of them attempt to kick you like soccer balls.

Wolfman has an idea.

Gibby gets hit by one and lands on his head.

Metal Man (GM): You're kicked back for 75 more damage.

Gibby: "Owie..." -_-;

Charles Magellean looks to the statues. "Yeah, Ivo's become more mad over the last ten years."

Syaoran slowly stands. "Damn you... now it's my turn..." He rushes at the first one and punches at it, trying to grab hold.

Dragoshi: "..."

Aribar casts Cure on himself before rushing over to stand between Wolfman and the statues. He would then attempt to use his powers of chaos to fling the first statue into another. (CP cost is 3 Object Modifier... I can use 12 CP max.)

Ivo Robotnik: "Fool! I've become even more intelligent! My underhanded genius... shall ensure none of you succeed!"

Metal Man (GM): You fling one statue into another as Syaoran misses.
Object modifier is 2.

Wolfman is now positioned behind Aribar... that's fine. A recharge at this rate is pointless, so he will go full defense unless otherwise given another order.

Dragoshi also does the same as Ari by using his OWN powers of chaos to fling Statue 1 into Statue 2

Metal Man (GM): *Fling* *Bonk* It doesn't seem to be doing much to them.
Statue 1 is heavily cracked.

Syaoran slides a little and flips to correct his posture, and stand straight. "If I can just get a hold of one..." (done)

Dragoshi: "...You'd think it'd at LEAST make some cracks in-wait, nevermind. That first statue's getting Pe-retty cracked right now."

Wolfman: "That's a good sign."

Charles Magellean: "Worked once, it'll woik again." *His hand moves over the first statue again.*

Dragoshi: "Indeed."

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Wolfman attempts to aim for a crack in the first statue carefully... (more)

Charles Magellean prefers the term "locked-on." He wobbles it again, and collides it into... the wall to the right of it."

Wolfman aims for a decent sized crack, aims his head, and fires... a buster like shot from the top of his head towards the cracked one's good cracks.

Metal Man (GM): It smacks into the wall, making a hole in the line-up... and out of the way of Wolf's attack.
Wolf instead flies into where the hole was.
Oh. Then your buster shot flies through the hole.

Dragoshi: "..."

Metal Man (GM): You see a wall rise from the floor and blow it up with lasers.
Then the wall sinks under the floor.

Alexia immediately goes into a defensive stance. Turn over.

Wolfman notes the projectile missed... but then notes another trap.

Dragoshi: "..." *Mutters in draconian.*

Wolfman: "Fliers, don't take that way."

Charles Magellean: "...This is... unexpected."

Gibby: "Ugh..."

Ivo Robotnik: "Even if you survive my machines... my wall of lasers will obliterate you!"

Aribar: "Thanks for the warning!"

Charles Magellean defends. End of turn.

Dragoshi then mutters and fires another Cyclone at the 1st Statue.

Wolfman: .oO(Why must my first mission back from a hiatus always be a hard one?)

Metal Man (GM): It is thrown further away from the hole in the lineup.
It looks heavily damaged.

Gibby: .oO(Hmm... an opening?)

Metal Man (GM): Robotnik Statues

Metal Man (GM): The one statue stands up, and uses its turn to fill the line.
Then the other 9 advance and attack everyone en masse, as usual... except for Julian, because he's not revived yet.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone but Aribar and Wolfman and whoever else was killed

Aetos watches plenty of people fall before him.
He growls. .oO(Ok, just this once.) He raises both of his hands level to Statue's 1 and 2. "Raaah!!" he shouts as a tunnel of wind jets out his each palm toward them

Dragoshi takes MASSIVE damage... But lives.

Charles Magellean takes more damage.

Julian Sawyer's back in action!

Dragoshi: "Ow..."

Aribar is flung off to the opposite wall and remains crumpled in a heap... I don't think he'll be getting up any time soon.

Charles Magellean: "...The first one will crumble very soon..."

Gibby is now ticked. He runs towards the most damaged statue, leaps at it, and attacks it two more times with rapid strikes.

Metal Man (GM): They're both hit.
Hit, hit.

Julian Sawyer: "...Goddammit."

Metal Man (GM): Statue 1 crumbles.

Syaoran slowly stands coughing up more blood, holding his ribs. "Okay... I can't let myself miss this time..." He takes a deep breath, then rushes at statue two and pounces at it, trying to grab it.

Wolfman sees a statue crumbling... an opening perhaps?

Dragoshi: "...Ey. A little help here?" (22/300)

Aetos gives himself a thumbs-up. .oO(Yeah, I still got it...)

Metal Man (GM): There is an opening. Hit, Syaoran.

Wolfman turns to Dragoshi.

Metal Man (GM): Statue 1 is dead; there's a Statue-sized hole in the line.

Wolfman: "Got a good propulsion move?"
*He motions for him to hop on.*

Julian Sawyer: "...New guy! Throw it backwards!"

Metal Man (GM): It is thrown backwards by the attack.

Gibby: "Yes! Got one!"

Syaoran grabs onto it and grins and flips over the statue, using it's weight and his to hurl it at number 3.

Dragoshi hops on Wolf.

Metal Man (GM): Oh...

Wolfman attempts to use a Rocket Tackle + whatever Dragoshi uses for his propulsion move to SPEED PAST the enemies.

Metal Man (GM): Syaoran throws it at #3 instead.
Roll the attack.
It hits. But it doesn't widen the gap.

Julian Sawyer: "...MORON! Throw them backwards! Widen the gap!"

Dragoshi conjures up a very quick spinning tornado of ice "Think this'll work?"

Julian Sawyer conserves his TP, intending to break out of here come next turn.

Wolfman: "Do it."

Syaoran: "One is gone, we should have enough room if we keep them busy."

Wolfman and Dragoshi use ice tornado + rocket tackle for uber propulsion to get past the enemies. (...what do we roll?)

Dragoshi: "Okay. ICE TORNADO!"

Wolfman: "ROCKET TACKLE!"

Julian Sawyer: *Facepalm* "NEVER MIND! Just stand back next turn, I'LL handle it."

Dragoshi: *DAMMIT.*

Metal Man (GM): It doesn't quite go as you planned... you fly into Statue 2 and send it flying backwards, then keep on going.

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Metal Man (GM): It flies back and into the wall of lasers as it raises it up.
*BLAM* The wall kills it.
Then you're flying at the wall of lasers...

Gibby believes this will hurt.

Wolfman: .oO(That will do... slag!)

Metal Man (GM): Which opens fire at you as you fly directly at it...
*YEOWM
BOOOOM.*

Dragoshi: .oO(...Greeeaaat...)

Metal Man (GM): 150 damage as you collide into the wall and it shoots you with lasers, shooting you backwards.

Wolfman: *BOOM Boom boom boom boom...*

Julian Sawyer: "...What the HELL just happened?"

Metal Man (GM): The wall lowers after the madness.

Dragoshi is sent flying back, KO'D.

Metal Man (GM): Statues

Ivo Robotnik: "Grrr! Just die already!"

Metal Man (GM): The 8 remaining decide to kick Julian's shins.
As Julian is kicked to bits and pieces... the counter hits 4/10.
Or at least, his shield is, or whatever happens.

Julian Sawyer: *DE-FENCE!* *clap clap clap* *DE-FENCE!* *clap clap clap.*

Metal Man (GM): Everyone but the people who died --the other people who died from the statues are revived
The defense of the base is visibly weakening.

Aetos scratches his head. .oO(I better not use too many of my attacks or they'll be suspicious.)

Wolfman is out a turn to be... reconstructed (well, what else happens when you lose a life in a Megaman game after blowing up?)

Editor's Note: Way too much time is consumed past this point bickering over how Wolf does or doesn't die, does or doesn't vaporize, moving his corpse etc. You'd think people would learn to leave it alone, but no. I cut out a bunch of random noise to do with it!

Aetos looks around for Charles.

Metal Man (GM): 8 of the statues are left.

Syaoran: "So you want us to stand back?"

Metal Man (GM): You may walk through the gap.

Julian Sawyer: "RUN FOR IT!" *Julian makes way across the gap, downing an Ultra Shroom while he does* "SOMEONE GRAB DRAGOSHI!" *As he runs, Julian tries flicking a coin into the wall to trick it.*

Metal Man (GM): The wall raises up... AGI check to jump over it before it can shoot you, Julian.
You leap over the wall. It raises up and obliterates the coin.

Syaoran rushes over towards the wall. "Damn it..."

Metal Man (GM): Alarms go off, and it raises up to hit the ceiling, making a gigantic wall in the way of everyone else.

Aribar groans as he gets up from the corner. He's gettin' too old for this business. He catches Julian screaming as he gets up. (Drag is next to the Laser wall, right?)

Metal Man (GM): Syaoran runs towards it. It attempts to shoot him.
50 laser damage if that hits.

Aetos sees Charles?

Metal Man (GM): You're now at the wall... which is in the way.

Aribar rushes past the statues and up to the wall... And promptly teleports twenty feet forward in a yellow flash via Chaos Control.

Syaoran comes to a sliding stop as he sees the lasers, then hops to the side, just barely dodging them, losing some of his shirt.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar is fired at.
It horribly misses, then he teleports through it.
Syaoran is right next to the wall--looks like it's gonna fire again soon.

Syaoran: "Damn it..."

Aribar is then sidetracked by... Something. (Goodbye, all!)

Metal Man (GM): +1000 for the fight so far.

Syaoran looks around really quickly and then tries to get out of its sensor range.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar teleports with Dragoshi's corpse through the floor.

Aetos looks at the current people still in the fight.

Metal Man (GM): Syaoran is able to run back and out of range of the wall.

Wolfman hasn't revived yet.

Alexia hasn't either.

Metal Man (GM): So then. Alexia: You revive, facing a huge wall.
And the remaining statues.
What do you do... what do you do?

Alexia: "...This just keeps getting better and better. Anybody got teleportation powers?"

Aetos tilts his head. .oO(Cowards...)

Alexia: "Anybody got a plan?"

Wolfman hopes to wake up eventually...

Ivo Robotnik: "Heheheh. Even past the wall of lasers, none shall get to me!"

Metal Man (GM): Anyone still behind the wall: Take your turns

Aetos nods... he begins swirling his hands in a circle in front of him... soon wind starts swirling within it... more rapid and violent... he pushes his hands forward and the wind gushes out in a large stream at Statue 3.

Metal Man (GM): It moves really slowly.
It's heavily damaged; it falls backwards into the wall and breaks a big hole through it.

Syaoran looks over at the wall. "Ok... anyone gonna try to get over that, cause I'm pretty sure if one of us tries, we'll have to wait a bit before we try again."

Metal Man (GM): Then it crumbles to dust.

Syaoran: "Never mind..."

Aetos sighs. .oO(Glad Julian and Aribar weren't here to see that.)

Metal Man (GM): The resulting electrical shorting destroys the laser wall's laser powers.

Charles Magellean is stumped at this junction. "I wonder... did I upload it to this dex?" He searches for that which he created during the assault on Commander Grodus's Dark Exor Base. He cycles for... the trojan. (-? TP... I'd assume 2.)

Metal Man (GM): The remaining statues also fall over... just before Charles can give them the trojan.

Alexia: "...Well, that works!"

Metal Man (GM): The timer hits 5/10 as everyone is able to get past the wall.

Julian Sawyer: "I'm askin' 'cause if you ain't here, I ain't keepin' up with ya. Let's go! Ain't much time left! " *Julian jumps up and activates his Rocket Boots for max speed, and... waits for Metal to get back.*

Charles Magellean cycles through the dex... yep, he did remember to make a backup of it.

Alexia jumps into the air and starts flying for maximum speed.

Wolfman just runs with the rest.

Charles Magellean closes dex and begins to run forward, determined to stop the former Kintobor from unleashing Kuja's cannon.

Syaoran follows along with everyone, avoiding from coughing up anymore blood, but still holding his ribs.

Dragoshi jumps off Wolf's back and flies with Julian and Alexia "Quite."

Alexia: "Ah, crud. So, what now?"

Syaoran looks at the door, maybe he can pry it open.

Charles Magellean: "We solve the riddle of the door."

Metal Man (GM): Looks like you could. STR check + you need an object to pry it with.

Wolfman: "Need help?" *To the door guy.*

Syaoran looks around for a crowbar or something. "Guys, help me look for something to open this with."

Wolfman quick draws his claws.

Metal Man (GM): Charles: The control panel looks pretty interesting.

Alexia searches around, too.

Wolfman uses his super human claws for prying.

He withdraws his claws.

Dragoshi tries to search as well.

Aetos tries to resist his needs to mess with consoles.

Metal Man (GM): You stab the door; it blocks your sword.

Ivo Robotnik: "You fool! Gerald himself made this door!"

Julian Sawyer: "...How the hell..."

Syaoran: "I could try and fry the lock..."

Wolfman: "This is a strong door..."

Aetos tip-toes over and looks at the console.

Julian Sawyer: "GodDAMMIT."

Alexia: *Like a nuke.*

Metal Man (GM): The controls are short-circuited. The door opens about an inch.
Then it runs out of power to open it with.

Charles Magellean: "Knowledge over force, fellow Questers. Use knowledge."

Dragoshi: "Well I tried repairing the controls."

Julian Sawyer: "You're so goddamn smart, YOU figure somethin' out."

Dragoshi: "Didn't do much though"

Ivo Robotnik: "Like I'd supply power to the door-opening interface..."

Wolfman: "We got an inch guys."

Metal Man (GM): The door needs (Tim Allen Voice) MORE POWER!

Wolfman: "Perhaps we can lift it up."

Metal Man (GM): It's a side-to-side door. Grocery-store style.

Wolfman would have a hard time doing so due to his figure.

Metal Man (GM): Made out of solid steel, about 10 feet thick.

Charles Magellean: "You're intelligence circuits are as fried as this door's."

Aetos cringes and starts pushing buttons rapidly all over the console.

Syaoran looks inside the small open gap, maybe to figure out how the door moves.

Metal Man (GM): It also appears enchanted.

Wolfman growls.

Dragoshi: "Perhaps I could energize it with my lightning attack... Nah."

Metal Man (GM): Aetos presses the buttons. Nothing.

Julian Sawyer: "So why don't you stop talkin' about it an' DO SOMETHIN'?"

Alexia: "Try pulling it."

Dragoshi: "And by it, I mean the panel."

Metal Man (GM): Syaoran sees the door moves by massive motors pulling the doors open.
The doors are so massive that most of you can't even budge them.
It hits 6/10 on the counter.

Charles Magellean: "Because you'll tell me that I'm wrong again. I won't even bother anymore."

Julian Sawyer: "Charles, if it WORKS, it ain't WRONG."

Ivo Robotnik: "How I thank you, my grandfather... your marvelous door has given me another 10th of the universe!"

Alexia: "Um, we better hurry." *Points to the counter.*

Syaoran sighs some. "Ok... let's see... if the door runs on a motor... and it weights this much..." He looks around for an external power system for the doors.

Metal Man (GM): Another check, yeah.
You decide Wolfman's head is the power system for the doors.

Julian Sawyer does the same...

Dragoshi: "...Let me help you look for an external power source."

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, Julian and Dragoshi notice that there's wires behind the control panel.

Wolfman has nothing useful to do... he just sits.

Julian Sawyer: "Bingo."
*Condition of the wires?*

Metal Man (GM): Power wires... that look like you could just pry them out and hook them up to something.

Syaoran: "Find something?"

Dragoshi: "Quite."

Julian Sawyer: "Who's got a power source?"

Metal Man (GM): They're just fine. However, they appear to have no power.
Ivo Robotnik was clever enough to disable power to this door.

Charles Magellean: "Not I."

Dragoshi: "...Huh. ...This may sound inane, but maybe we could use the dexes?"

Julian Sawyer: "Go ahead. I got a backup plan if it don't work."

Syaoran: "Probably..."

Dragoshi pulls out his dex, and attempts to use it as a power source for the wires.

Metal Man (GM): You hook it up.
*ZAP* Your dex's battery dies instantly.
The door opens by another inch.

Dragoshi: "Dammit! ...Two inches."

Wolfman: "...do I need to sacrifice myself again?"

Metal Man (GM): 2 inches is only thin enough for the most impossibly skinny of people.

Charles Magellean: "...And your plan was, Julian?"

Julian Sawyer: "...Alright, that didn't work."

Alexia: "Have Ari zap the wires."

Dragoshi: "...I could use my cyclone to open the door, but that's force, not knowledge..."

Syaoran starts trying to pull the door again, since he has a wider gap now.

Julian Sawyer opens the panels on his Nano Gloves, exposing the circuitry inside. Julian then takes the wires, hooks them up, and channels energy into his gloves via Focus Slam to try and use the energy to power open the door.

Metal Man (GM): Your Nano gloves die, running out of power.
The door opens by a foot as Syaoran is unable to pull them.

Julian Sawyer: "Bingo."

Alexia: "How much energy does this door USE?!"

Dragoshi: "...Nice one, Julian."

Metal Man (GM): That's just enough to walk through.
The counter hits 7/10.

Wolfman: "Guess not then."

Dragoshi: "...A feckload, judging by the fact my Dex's battery DIED"

Charles Magellean: "Your plan didn't work, Syaoran."

Dragoshi walks through the door.

Julian Sawyer: "A helluva lot, apparently." *Julian disconnects his gloves, and replaces the wires, and slips through.*

Syaoran slips through. "Hurry people..."

Metal Man (GM): You slip through... and can now see the fully scene.

Alexia: "OH, SHEEZE!" *Slips through and runs at full tilt.*

Metal Man (GM): It's a massive wreck... the room where the firing mechanism once way.

Charles Magellean squeezes trough after exhaling all air from his body.

Metal Man (GM): A few, recently fixed, consoles sit there, in front of the cannon.

Wolfman goes through.

Metal Man (GM): Ivo Robotnik stands behind them, typing things in.
The cannon, which looms large, is crackling with electricity.

Dragoshi: "Hello there... Robotnik."

Wolfman growls very loudly towards Ivo.

Ivo Robotnik: "Behold... the Dimensional Cannon!"

Syaoran looks for a good place to stick his electric dagger and just screw the thing up.

Julian Sawyer: "Big deal. We jus' gonna break it down anyway."

Charles Magellean: "...Remember me, personally?"

Ivo Robotnik: "The most powerful weapon ever invented... and all because of my Grandfather! I would never forget such an imitator of my works... Charles Magellan."

Syaoran: "Time is slowly slipping away..."

Julian Sawyer scans the room for a good place to plant the C4 brick while Ivo's monologuing.

Metal Man (GM): The cannon's side looks good.

Julian Sawyer: *Ivo's attention currently diverted?*

Aetos: "Magellan... ouch..."

Dragoshi: "...Wait... Yeah. It does, Wolf."

Metal Man (GM): He leaps out of the way... daymn... Robotnik's fast.

Alexia flings a Mindblast at the Egg-o-matic.

Julian Sawyer heads over to the crack, planting the C4 on it. "Gonna make sure you can't use this again!"

Metal Man (GM): Please wait until battle proper.
Julian puts the C-4 on it.

Ivo Robotnik: "Oh no! Anything but the cannon!"

Dragoshi points his left claw at Ivo.

Syaoran: "Let me guess... we try to blow it up... and it goes nuclear on us..."

Julian Sawyer: "Back up and get ready to run!" *Julian backs up to the group, and remote detonates it, then boosts back down the hallway in case it explodes us all the hell up.*

Metal Man (GM): It blows up... revealing...

Charles Magellean: "Destroy it... Destroy it all."

Metal Man (GM): A Time Stone inside of it, which Ivo steals immediately.

Julian Sawyer: *Alright, forget the running* "..."

Ivo Robotnik: "Hahah... hahahaha! I tricked you!"

Syaoran: "Great..."

Wolfman didn't back up... and witnessed that.

Dragoshi attempts to snatch the timestone from Ivo. If possible.

Syaoran: "So you wanted us to break the damn thing..."

Ivo Robotnik: "The cannon was a dud... but inside its nearly impenetrable shell... was a Time Stone!"

Aetos mutters quietly; "Talon coulda detected that."

Dragoshi: "..."

Aetos: "A time what?"

Dragoshi: "HOW CLICHED CAN YOU GET!?"

Metal Man (GM): He presses some buttons, then his machine opens fire on Wolfman with a giant cluster of missiles.

Metal Man (GM): He pulls another lever.

Dragoshi then stops.

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman is suddenly hit by the drills of the Egg Hornet.

Dragoshi: "Buh..."

Aetos uses his other hand (which is not holding Charles) to point at Ivo. "Grrr... Go get 'im!!" He then releases Charles from his grip and spreads himself away from him.

Metal Man (GM): He reappears. One symbol is gone.

Alexia: "Great. He can warp time to his whim."

Dragoshi: "Hey... Wasn't there a symbol there?"

Ivo Robotnik: "THAT is the power of the Time Stones. When I have all seven... I will be unstoppable!"

Wolfman: "Hopefully he can only do that twice more..."

Dragoshi: "...Seven? I thought there were six? Damn my memory's awful"

Charles Magellean stands a still... yet when a spasm comes, he falls forward again. He doesn't move at all. (End of Turn)

Julian Sawyer: "I'm gonna make sure you don't get ANY!" *Julian boosts up and towards the Egg Hornet, trying to grab it...*

Metal Man (GM): You fly up to grab it...

Julian Sawyer: *And miss.*

Metal Man (GM): It suddenly warps out of the way.
Another symbol vanishes.

Julian Sawyer: "Cheap***mutha****ER!" *Julian finishes with a Dex.*

Dragoshi: "...That's your second symbol"

Metal Man (GM): You try to dex it.

Syaoran rushes forward at the Egg hornet and starts leaning forward, he eventually gets down on all fours for a brief moment, before pouncing at the thing, trying to grab it.

Dragoshi: "...Then again I expect something cheap and contrived to happen... Now."

Metal Man (GM): It flies out of the way... you never could hit it with that attack.

Syaoran flips and slides some, quickly getting back up on his two legs. "Damn..." (end with that.)

Dragoshi wonders if something contrived will happen then tries to dex Egg Hornet with his Scan Visor.

Metal Man (GM): Nothing stops you from scanning it now.

Syaoran got hit pretty hard from the tackle, and tries to stay standing. "I can't just lie down an-" He drops to the ground out cold.

Julian Sawyer decides to keep it slow this round, Lifting up one leg and using the other to propel him into the Egg Hornet for a Big Boot!

Metal Man (GM): Miss.

Dragoshi is about to Chaos Control, but is a little slow and gets hit. "...Eh" (257/300)

Julian Sawyer just flips around does it again!

Metal Man (GM): He warps out of the way... yet again.

Wolfman notes him WARPING?!?

Julian Sawyer then gets back to the group, floating down to ground level and whispering in Dragoshi's ear.

You know, perhaps strapping this brace on super-tight is working.
My thumb stopped tingling, at least, though it's a bit stiff.

Aribar rushes onto the battlefield. "Sorry I'm late... Woah. Big thing." The elf unsheathes Moonlight and takes his place with the other Questers. He points Moonlight at the big mech and a bolt of lightning slams towards the Ivo's machine. He then summons up two orbs of magic and fire them at the Egg Hornet. (Lightning, Magic Barrage)

Metal Man (GM): The brace, not the thumb.

Ivo Robotnik: "In your dreams!"

Metal Man (GM): He flies away from the first one, then warps out of the way of the second, before dodging the third.

Aribar: "What the... How did you dodge that?"

Alexia: "He has three Time Stones."

Ivo Robotnik: "I have three time stones... I can teleport out of the way!"

Metal Man (GM): Miss, *Warps out of the way.*

Ivo Robotnik: "Admit it... I cannot be stopped!"

Dragoshi: "Ha! I made you waste your LAST warp on a move that wouldn't even scratch the freakin' paint job!"

Ivo Robotnik: "You haven't even scratched the paint job yet. Prove me wrong."

Julian Sawyer: "Primetime Mutha****a!" *Julian immediately boosts towards Ivo, trying to grab him again! ACTIVATE TAG TEAM!*

Ivo Robotnik: "Huh?"

Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.

Julian Sawyer latches onto Ivo, bashes him in the head with his elbow, and rolls back and launches him into the air, aiding the launch his Rocket Boots! "DRAGOSHI! NOW!"

Metal Man (GM): Damage for both moves?

Dragoshi: "Understood! ICE TORNADO!" *The icy tornado of doom didn't quite reach Ivo yet, but it spins even faster, and hits.*

Metal Man (GM): The combo hits him for a whopping 100 damage.
You dent the front end.

Dragoshi: "What did you say about your paint job?"

Ivo Robotnik: "Gah! I'll make you pay for this!"

Julian Sawyer: "Bam!"

Dragoshi: "Ha!"

Wolfman can't team up with anyone worthwhile this round...
He approaches Butnik for 1 TP to unleash a Rocket Tackle for the remaining 3.000000

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Aetos mutters to himself and defends. "I don't got nothin'!"

Julian Sawyer: "If you don't got nothin', Why you here?!"

Aetos: "Moral support... Go team go?" *he raises his hands and twirls it around.*

Wolfman looks to Leon...

Julian Sawyer: "If you're just gonna be dead weight, you might as well not even come on missions."

Wolfman: "...you're holding back. Most of us have unleashed some special ability."

Julian Sawyer: "Yeah, you're in a DAMN SUIT OF ARMOR! You gotta have SOME kinda weapon."

Dragoshi: "...Such as?"

Julian Sawyer: "Wolf's got a buster in his head, I have Vendetta, Dragoshi's got a scythe..."

Wolfman: "I have minor fire, Aribar deals with lightning... actually, I prefer more Earth, but that's besides the point."

Aribar: "At least try punching the blasted thing!"

Aetos: "I already killed all of those statues, what more do you want??"

Wolfman: "...if we're looking at elements... fair enough."

Aribar: "This is a full-time job. You need to pull your weight if we're to survive..."

Ivo Robotnik: "Heh heh heh... I'll tell you why!"

Dragoshi: "And I have a small array of elemental prowess."

Wolfman: "Can I try to guess first?"

Ivo Robotnik: "...No. Gahahahahahaaa!"

Wolfman: "Too bad. Perhaps Leon is hiding something... like another identity."

Ivo Robotnik: "That person... is none other than Aetos... who I was hired to catch. Dead or Alive!"

Aetos raises an eyebrow. .oO(If only Aribar and Julian were indisposed...)

Ivo Robotnik: "You hate Aetos... I hate Aetos... there's an 80,000 coin bounty on his head."

Wolfman: "Sorry, but I beat you to the punch."

Ivo Robotnik: "Think of the money!"

Julian Sawyer: "...What?"

Wolfman: "...I wasn't around when he supposedly became evil."

Dragoshi looks at Aetos "...Huh. Didn't Metal say Aetos was a traitor? Referring to the first time he heard of the name Aetos."

Aetos tilts his head. "I'm Leon Yetch..."

Julian Sawyer: "...Leon, take off your helmet."

Aribar: "...Aetos isn't smart enough to pull the wool over our eyes."

Ivo Robotnik: "The sensors of this place aren't all broken. I can see right through steel with them!"

Wolfman: "...perhaps we can propose some agreement, since I'm obviously out of place."

Aetos: "My helmet? If I take it off, He could shoot me in the head!"

Aribar: .oO(And yet, if that traitor is here... That is a big jeopardy to the mission.)

Ivo Robotnik: "And... I think I should up the ante!"

Ivo Robotnik presses a button.

Wolfman: "Ivo, what are you thinking?"

Metal Man (GM): Garrick appears out of nowhere.

Aetos: "...My head is fragile."

Aribar: "I have curative spells."

Julian Sawyer: "...Hi Garrick."

Dragoshi: "...Just take off the DAMN helmet!"

Wolfman: .oO(...he isn't Metal!)
"You aren't Metal!"

Ivo Robotnik: "See, Garrick! The traitor, Aetos, is right there!" *Points at Leon's armored head.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "Way to state the obvious, Wolf..."

Aribar glances at Garrick before looking back at Leon.

Julian Sawyer: "Look, 'Leon', I AIN'T KIDDIN'. Take off your helmet, 'else I'm gonna take it off FOR YOU."

Wolfman: "Julian, stand down."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...it is Aetos, gentlemen."

Wolfman: "...okay, now stand up."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I don't even need Ivo's equipment to know that."

Ivo Robotnik: "With the help of the Questers, who are most obviously on my side, I have acquired a useful tool in my search to better the world."

Julian Sawyer: "You ain't my -CENSORED- boss, Wolfboy."

Wolfman: "Ivo, I don't recall being on your side here."

Aetos: "By destroying it and turning it into a theme park?"

Julian Sawyer: "...Wait a sec... GODDAMMIT! Forget Aetos for now, we'll beat him up later."

Aribar: "Aetos knows we would kill him if he was found out. He wouldn't walk into our HQ and pretend to be a new recruit."

Ivo Robotnik: "That... was a ruse to draw the likes of Aetos." *He chuckles.*

Julian Sawyer: "Jus' concentrate on Ivo and take his stuff!"

Ivo Robotnik: "For all I needed... was this." *Brandishes a time stone.*

Wolfman: "Okay, you got your Time Stone."

Garrick Fy`aar is standing there in a dark looking brown cloak, the material billowing around him. The sleaves go all the way down his arms and only the hood is uncovering his head, which his hair is a great deal longer than it once was...

Dragoshi: *Points at Ivo*"...You lie. We are not your allies. ...You have a FOURTH?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Ivo, what are you doing?"

Dragoshi: "...Oh, wait. That's your third"

Wolfman: "Garrick, is Ivo with us or against us? You seem to know more."

Ivo Robotnik: "Improving the world. There, the traitor is threatening your friends."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Ivo. Don't lie to me."

Wolfman is growling at both sides...

Ivo Robotnik: "With the ability to travel through time, diseases can be prevented, ancient history researched, technology advanced to unimaginable power!"

Wolfman is trying to remember the code.

Aetos looks at whatever Ivo is talking about.

Julian Sawyer: "Hmmm..." *Tries to sneaky grab the stone out of Ivo's hand while he's monologuing again.*

Garrick Fy`aar slowly strides up to Ivo...

Metal Man (GM): His hand... is under a solid glass dome.

Aribar: "Tampering with history causes more chaos than you can imagine!"

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Ivo, I will say again. Do not lie to me."

Julian Sawyer tries BREAKING the dome.

Ivo Robotnik: "I am telling the truth. As much as I say that the traitor is amongst you."

Metal Man (GM): Roll an attack against the dome.

Wolfman: "Ivo, you might be telling us the truth about Aetos... ...but that doesn't mean we want you to have your own utopia!"

Ivo Robotnik: "I have not only destroyed a deadly weapon, but brought forth another of many needed gems."

Wolfman wonders when Metal will get here.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Wolf, that is Aetos. I don't know what his agenda is..."

Wolfman turns to Charles.

Garrick Fy`aar: "...but it is not important at the moment."

Wolfman: "...so he's not technically a double agent or traitor? The Manifesto we agreed to... do we follow it?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "I'm not sure. If I were you, put him under custody."

Ivo Robotnik: "He has obviously violated it... as according to the bounty."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Let the government sort it out. ...what about me, Ivo?"

Wolfman: "...understood."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Do I have a bounty on my head?"

Ivo Robotnik: "No."

Aetos mutters something behind his helmet for a few moments.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Thought so."

Wolfman signed a contract... and will thus live by it.
He goes towards Aetos to attempt to detain him.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Now... I'm going to ask you one thing. With these... time stones... can you do what I wish to do?"

Ivo Robotnik: "That is the idea, Garrick."

Wolfman: .oO(Too... many... conflicts...)

Garrick Fy`aar: "..."
*He slowly looks at Wolf...*

Aetos raises an eyebrow at Wolf. "What are you doing? You don't even know what's going on, Wolf."

Wolfman: .oO(...I must live by the contract)

Garrick Fy`aar: "Do not move."

Wolfman: "Here is what I know. I signed a contract, as did you."

Ivo Robotnik: "I already have three. Enough to go through time by a measly hour, if I should use their full power all at once."

Wolfman stops moving.

Dragoshi attempts to check to see if Ivo's lying (Detect Motive Check?)

Wolfman will still talk.

Ivo Robotnik: "...Four shall give me a day. Five, a week. Six... a year."

Garrick Fy`aar: "I need more than a year, Ivo..."

Metal Man (GM): Detect Motive, Dragoshi.

Garrick Fy`aar: "I need several."

Wolfman: "Garrick knows more about this than I do. The moment he says I can stop you, I will."

Ivo Robotnik: "Seven... anywhere. Thousands of years."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...why... does this sound like the chaos emeralds?"

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi: You can't really tell.

Dragoshi: "...Anywhere? ...Even as far back as the creation of existence... itself?"

Wolfman: "Garrick: Time Stones."

Ivo Robotnik: "They ramp up in power similarly, but without the defects."

Aetos crosses his arms.

Ivo Robotnik: "If you wish, yes. Such is useless, though."

Aribar: "...Time was not meant to be tampered with."

Ivo Robotnik: "I could give you back your arm."

Aribar: "At the cost of the Void coming back? The X-Zone returning?"

Ivo Robotnik: "Undo damage dealt by disease, accident... even deaths."

Garrick Fy`aar slowly looks between the Questers and Ivo...

Ivo Robotnik: "It does not relate to the X-zone."

Alexia tries to sense Ivo's true motives, also.

Wolfman is trying to focus Ivo out of this... he's focused on Aetos and the Manifesto.

Ivo Robotnik: "The X-zone is dead... in destroying this cannon, I further prevented its existence."

Editor's Note: A nice brag of his, but... well, I won't spoil future plot, but let's just say he's only prevented an aspect of it from happening.

Metal Man (GM): Alexia cannot tell either.

Dragoshi checks again to see if Ivo's lying about making it possible reverse all these things as well. If possible.

Wolfman attempts calling Metal on the radio again.

Aetos snaps his fingers and wolf is surrounded by a sphere of wind... it's encasing him, but not stopping him from doing anything but make sound.

Aribar: "Who are you to try and make a utopia anyways? And how do you know what your tampering will do?"

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Ivo..."

Aetos: "You aren't going to be speaking for a bit, Wolf."

Wolfman: *To Radio* "One, what's your 20? Two, Leon is actually Ae--" *Stopped.*

Metal Man (GM): Metal appears to be 'in transit'... call it an error or two, so to speak.

Alexia: "Aetos, lower the barrier."

Ivo Robotnik: "I have the plans and the power. If it is all right with you... I will proceed."

Aribar: "No, it is not."

Ivo Robotnik: "...Not you, disbeliever."

Dragoshi: "...I still think you're lying... Though I'm not so sure..."

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi: Motive check.
You can't tell either.

Wolfman growls... if he could...

Dragoshi: "...Still can't tell... Huh"

Garrick Fy`aar: "...Ivo, I've seen what you've done many different times..."

Wolfman quick draws his claws though.

Garrick Fy`aar: "If you think I'm going to let you become another Kuja... ...you're sadly mistaken."

Aetos: "I'm not going to fight the person who saved me in The Lost Woods from that stupid robot."

Wolfman makes sure his radio is turned on, and bashes on the ground an S O S in morse code. (it's binary based, which is something I can do)

Ivo Robotnik: "...Another Kuja? Nonsense."

Dragoshi: "...That would be, definitely bad."

Garrick Fy`aar suddenly brings his reared back fist forward VIOLENTLY, slamming it into the glass dome. His hand is armored in a red and black armor...

Wolfman attempts to pull up history on Aetos through the Dex... to see if Aetos is in violation.

Metal Man (GM): You do so... and the mecha time warps out of the way.

Ivo Robotnik: "I'm afraid you can't do that, Garrick. My plans must be finished!"

Aribar: "Kuja thought his world was a utopia! Look what it turned out to be."

Dragoshi: "..."

Garrick Fy`aar: "You don't know who you're messing with... Mark, activate the HEXA."

Aetos: "...HEXA?"

Wolfman: .oO(If I can't speak, I'll just research this.)

Ivo Robotnik: "...My business is no longer with fighting you, though."

Dragoshi attempts to sneak behind Ivo and shatter his dome with his scythe.

Wolfman also goes AWAY from Aetos before he can do anything to stop me.

Ivo Robotnik: "Allow me to demonstrate!"

Wolfman still keeps an eye on him.

Ivo Robotnik: *His mecha warps again... knocking Aetos's helmet off and grabbing him with a giant claw.*

Garrick Fy`aar throws off his cloak to the side, his body seeming to glow as his armor comes to life. A helmet attaches over his head and seals his face and hair off. His eyes light up slightly and, with that, he's encased in what looks like a very powerful suit of armor...

Aetos: "Grah!?"

Aribar: "...It is Aetos."

Wolfman stops his looking... and waits for the signal to attack.

Ivo Robotnik: "I have a bounty to collect. If you won't cooperate... he will!"

Alexia: "Wow. The first sensible thing I've seen you do."

Garrick Fy`aar: "Questers, if you wish to stop him... I'd do it now."

Wolfman will then.
He goes to BITE him to make things easier for the others.

Metal Man (GM): You bite... what. Aetos, the mecha, or?

Aribar is now torn... Attack a traitor, or stop someone from unleashing a new dark age? ...

Garrick Fy`aar blasts off with tremendous speed, leaping forward as his charged fist makes to slam into his flank again.

Wolfman: *7 damage + stun.*

Metal Man (GM): You bite the Egg Hornet.
Oh. Aetos.

Alexia glances at the mecha, then Aetos, then fires a Mindblast at Ivo.

Metal Man (GM): Hit, as he's... rather grabbed.
The Mindblast hits the mecha dead-on.
(((((( Free initiative battle (Attack at will; 30 second breaks between turns) ))))))

Alexia: "Don't tinker with time. Never works well, Ivo!"

Ivo Robotnik: "I did it once. I can do it again!"

Garrick Fy`aar kicks forward and makes to unload on the mad scientist. His armor is flaring and glowing, and he makes said sign to Wolf...

Alexia: "You could, but trust me. After this, you won't!"

Dragoshi walks up to Wolf and whispers into his ears.

Wolfman can't speak... so he'll do what Dragoshi says.

Ivo Robotnik: "I think I'll just use this being's power for myself!"

Metal Man (GM): Aetos is electrified; The Egg Hornet gains X-zone powers.

Alexia: "Ah, crud."

Ivo Robotnik: "Yes... yes! YES! Just what I need..."

Alexia fires another Mindblast, hoping to interrupt the transfer.

Metal Man (GM): He pulls a lever, and then is hit by a Mindblast.

Wolfman is still waiting for Dragoshi's whisper.

Metal Man (GM): A gigantic, non-aimed laser rips through a wall behind you.

Ivo Robotnik: "Gah! That's it. You're going down!"

Alexia: "Whoa! Here comes the artillery!"

Aribar: "Aetos, if you have any honor you will stay here and face judgement after this is complete."
*He sighs. The elf doesn't like it when complications arise. He turns back to the Egg Hornet.* "Dodge this!" Aribar rushes up to that huge Egg Hornet and leaps up into the air at it. Moonlight crackles with electrical energy and the elf unleashes a flurry of slashes upon Ivo's crazed invention. (Bolt Slash Barrage, two Minigun upgrades.)

Aetos is still and... can't move or anything thanks to the misunderstanding with Wolf...

Dragoshi stops whispering "Got it?"

Wolfman turns to Garrick quickly for him to say who we attack.

Garrick Fy`aar: "Go after Ivo..."

Metal Man (GM): Hit.

Aetos is being held by Ivo still.

Wolfman will just go for Ivo... he nods to Dragoshi, and lets him hop on.

Ivo Robotnik: "...Get a load of this!" *His mecha suddenly freaks out. You hear the power of the X-zone and the Time Stones being charged.*

Metal Man (GM): Then it fires a barrage of flaming lasers at Aribar.

Alexia then thinks a little bigger and tries to fling the whole Egg Viper using TK.

Metal Man (GM): 30 fire damage per hit.
It flies out of the way of Alexia's attack.

Garrick Fy`aar slowly brings his hand back and charges up another huge punch. He waits for Wolf's signal...

Wolfman understands Garrick's signal now.
He goes to Garrick's side, and gets a Rocket Tackle ready.

Ivo Robotnik: "I will succeed... my vision is already nearly complete. You cannot stop me!"

Aribar: "No!" *The elf's voice is filled with chaotic power. 8, 5, 5, and 10 Chaos Points are expanded to avoid the last four attacks.*

Garrick Fy`aar: "Say the word..."

Wolfman nods, and starts charging up his move (Fire Fox mode)

Alexia flings another Mindblast, keeping the heat on Ivo.

Metal Man (GM): He pulls another lever, and then powers up, before being hit by another critical mindblast.

Garrick Fy`aar charges up his own move, his fist throbbing as power from his armor is shunted into it...

Wolfman is waiting for the impact for a huge speed boost...

Garrick Fy`aar: "Ready?"

Wolfman nods!
He starts using the move...

Garrick Fy`aar lets out a yell and thrusts his fist forward into full, SLAMMING it into him to send him FLYING at Ivo.

Wolfman starts FLYING to Ivo at his speed... much faster than usual.

Aribar extends Moonlight towards that mecha once more and fires a crackling bolt of electricity at the glass dome. "Take this!" (Bolt, 46 Lightning if it hits)

Metal Man (GM): Miss, hit.
Wolfman's part hits for 50 damage.
His aim... was sorta off.

Alexia tries to fling the Viper again.

Dragoshi hops on. "...Well seeing as you already did a team attack, I'll do an attack of my own. ICE TORNADO!" He sends a tornado of pure ice at Ivo.

Metal Man (GM): He flies out of the way of Bolt before dodging a weak telekinesis attack, and then flies away from the Ice Tornado.
Then he powers up quite a bit.

Ivo Robotnik: "Full power! Fire!"

Metal Man (GM): His machine powers up before firing a MASSIVE beam of energy at everyone. It fills most of the area.

Wolfman does more dodging...

Julian Sawyer: *And that's when Julian decides to rejoin the battle, coming in from behind to try and grab Ivo again! After the AGI Check.*

Wolfman finally has bad luck with the dice.

Metal Man (GM): DC 20; 100 damage if it hits, 50 if you succeed.

Dragoshi got screwed over.

Julian Sawyer: *Woo!*

Wolfman loses his second life.

Julian Sawyer doesn't let the beam stop him! And his hands are glowing a deep red...

Ivo Robotnik: "You cannot win... I have more power than all of you combined."

Alexia gets clipped, but rolls back unto her feet and throws another Mindblast.

Aribar is slammed back against the wall, but he gets up and charges at Robotnik. He's heavily damaged, but he won't be stopped! He won't let Robotnik's plan succeed.
He decides to switch things up and fire a cone of magical energy at the mecha's dome before rushing up to slice the thing's legs with Moonlight. (Bang which is 46 Neutral damage if it hits, Moonlight slash which is 23 Physical damage if it hits)

Metal Man (GM): You grab him. Then he's mindblasted.
Hit.

Julian Sawyer: *GRAB! Julian discharges the energy into the Egg Hornet, then slams him into the ground! Focus Slam!*

Dragoshi: "...Shiz" (207/300 if it doesn't pierce DR, 200/300 if it does)

Alexia keeps up the pace, flinging ANOTHER Blast.

Metal Man (GM): His mecha simply floats up again and dodges the blast.

Ivo Robotnik: "Your attacks are meaningless. My mecha is far too heavily armored!"

Julian Sawyer: "Dragoshi! Team Up!"

Dragoshi: "Definitely!"

Ivo Robotnik: "Prepare to get Schooled!"

Aribar mutters a few arcane words and his wounds start to seal up. He needs to heal up before unleashing any more attacks.

Alexia: "Looks like we're doing a pretty good job so far, Eggman!"

Metal Man (GM): He smacks his control panel.
A black hole opens up in the center of the room... sucking at all of you.
DC 20 STR checks.

Julian Sawyer: *LUCK GODDAMMIT.*

Aribar tries to resist the black hole, but is sucked in...

Metal Man (GM): If you fail, lose half of your current HP. If you succeed, it fails to damage you.

Wolfman did NOT show up yet at least...

Dragoshi: *LUCK.*

Alexia gets sucked in, shot out, and STILL gets back up.

Wolfman comes back AFTER that attack... but has one more life left.

Alexia: "Grrr..."

Dragoshi: "Ow" (103/300)

Ivo Robotnik: "While I admire your persistence... you lack the intelligence to outsmart me."

Alexia uses Mend, healing all within 2 TP for 15 HP.

Julian Sawyer's still alive and in the air! He quickly downs an Ultra Shroom, then goes to grab the Egg Hornet AGAIN.

Aribar groans... That last attack hurt. He decides to say heck with small league spells and downs an Ultra Shroom, completely healing the elf. "Now..."

Wolfman is assuming he can speak now...

Julian Sawyer: *LUCK.*

Metal Man (GM): You barely hit, due to luck.

Wolfman: *To Radio* "Metal, get your butt over here now! We're still in danger!"

Metal Man (GM): You notice something odd...

Alexia: "Ari, you got another Shroom?"

Metal Man (GM): The time hasn't changed at all.

Alexia: "I need a heal!"

Metal Man (GM): In fact, it's stuck.

Julian Sawyer: *Grab! Julian bashes the glass dome with his elbow again, then rolls back and launches him into the air!* "DRAGOSHI! NOW!"

Wolfman takes notice......
"...well, that explains why now isn't applicable."

Aribar: "Aye. Why?"

Metal Man (GM): Damage from the throw?

Wolfman takes his Dex out to attempt to scan for the time disturbance.

Dragoshi: "ICE TORNADO!" *An ultraswift tornado of pure ice strikes Ivo. Or tries to.*

Alexia: "Low on health, Ari!"

Metal Man (GM): Hit as well...

Aribar realizes that they could use an ally... And Robotnik is using Aetos's power. He fires off another cone of magical energy at that mecha's arm before tossing a Mushroom (50 HP) at Alexia. (46 Neutral damage if Bang hits.)

Aetos: "Guh! Stop stealing my power!!"

Alexia snatches it and uses it (TP?)

Metal Man (GM): The hit rocks the mecha, but the arm is not broken.

Alexia: "Thanks!"

Aetos closes his eyes and tries to focus on his body being as free as the wind again... he tries to get his body to become wind once more.

Metal Man (GM): You do so... but then notice something strange.

Wolfman is still scanning for the time disturbance.

Metal Man (GM): The mecha becomes a wind elemental as well.
Thus allowing it to grab onto you as if you're normal.

Ivo Robotnik: "I can do whatever he can do... hah!"

Aribar blinks... Does the Mecha visually change?

Aetos: "Use FIRE!!"

Wolfman: "...oh brother..."

Aetos winces.

Alexia tosses another Blast at the mech.

Aribar tries nailing the arm holding Aetos with another Bang spell! (46 damage if it hits.)

Wolfman holds back, and tries to find a way to STOP THE TIME DISTURBANCE!

Ivo Robotnik: "And now... it is time to OW!... finish this battle."

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman: 'Luck' check.

Ivo Robotnik: "Time disturbance... full power!"

Aribar: "Uh oh..."

Metal Man (GM): You begin to notice time going... backwards.

Metal Man (GM): You hit him while he's messing with time.
The vehicle flies away... into another time.

Julian Sawyer uses... Forget it.

Metal Man (GM): It vanishes with Aetos.

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Dragoshi: "..."

Alexia: "..."

Aribar blinks...

Metal Man (GM): Metal appears.

Aribar: "We failed..."

Metal Man: "...Did I miss something?"

Alexia: "He got away..."

Wolfman: "...way too much..."

Julian Sawyer: "GODDAMMIT TO F**KING HELL!"

Wolfman lays down.

Alexia slams a wall with her fist.

Aribar looks to Metal and then to the place where Robotnik and Aetos was...

Wolfman: "First, you were late in showing up, so I'm hoping Julian doesn't have to pay you."

Alexia: "HE GOT AWAY!"

Metal Man: "...That's odd... there's almost half an hour of dex footage recorded with the same second and minute of a timestamp."

Dragoshi: "..." *Starts swearing in draconic so badly, that he could be considered the draconic version of Julian.*

Aribar: "Metal, sometimes being late isn't better than never."

Julian Sawyer: "YOU AIN'T GETTIN' A DAMN CENT!"

Metal Man looks at it.

Wolfman: "Second, Leon was Aetos, and I was ordered by Garrick to detain him. I bite him to stun, but then Ivo got him."

Metal Man: "How could I help you? You were frozen in time."

Garrick Fy`aar: "..."

Wolfman: "Third, Ivo took Aetos away."

Alexia: "Guys..."

Metal Man: "Though you still succeeded in your mission."

Wolfman: "Not really."

Metal Man: "The cannon... is destroyed beyond use."

Alexia: "No use crying over spilled milk."

Wolfman: "Ivo got a Time Stone... the cannon was a ruse."

Dragoshi: *Stops swearing in draconic and walks over to Alexia* "Yes? ...Oh."

Alexia: "We need to get back to HQ and track Ivo."

Metal Man: "The mission was about the cannon... although it would have been even better had you taken back the Time Stone."

Dragoshi: "...Quite."

Alexia: "And make Aetos pay."

Julian Sawyer: "He WILL."

Dragoshi: "On both counts."

Metal Man: "According to this log, I can see your major problem. DO NOT hit a time machine while it is activated."

Aribar: "Then what are we supposed to do?"

Julian Sawyer: "Gonna choke the LIFE outta that motherf**ker."

Dragoshi: "I really could care less about Aetos-...Nice going, Alexia."

Metal Man: "...As it sent him back in time away from you... but stopped him from taking him with you."

Wolfman: "...what do we do about Aetos then? I had to try to detain him... it was in the Manifesto."

Metal Man: "..." *Holds his head* "Ow... strange flashback."

Julian Sawyer: "...Wait, so he's back in time, right? How far back?"

Metal Man: "...It appears Tridus hit the teleportation machine I was... sending me here... but he got left behind... err."

Dragoshi: *Runs over to Metal* "...What is it Metal?"

Metal Man: "He was probably sent to an hour ago, and then Ivo ran."

Garrick Fy`aar: "...SIMBER. A warp out."

Dragoshi: "...Ah."

Alexia: "Figures."

SIMBER: "Affirmative."

Wolfman wonders if he's talking too much.

Metal Man (GM): A white warp spot appears on the ground.

Dragoshi: "...How cliched."

Alexia: "How do we find him and Aetos?"

Wolfman turns to Metal, wondering how much he heard me and my report.

Garrick Fy`aar steps into, sending a glare at Metal before disappearing into the light.

Editor's Note: I like how Metal literally ignores Garrick even exists. The enmity is quite thick.

Metal Man: "...Beats me. He ran before we knew he was even here."

Dragoshi: "Huh."

Wolfman: "...should I repeat what I said when we get back at base?"

Julian Sawyer: "So we got back two hours ago 'fore he even GOT here, blow the cannon, an' take the stone. Problem solved 'fore it even happened."

Aribar: "If we don't stop him then it'll be the Kuja deal all over again..."

Dragoshi: "..."

Metal Man: "Not quite."

Wolfman wants to know what to do about the protocol.

Metal Man: "Time is very persistent. Wondering why you aren't seeing yourselves come in right now?"

Dragoshi: "Nope?"

Wolfman isn't caring too much about the time... his mind is on the contract.

Dragoshi: "I mean, yeah."

Julian Sawyer: "No. It's 'cause we ain't in the past."

Metal Man: "...By going back in time, he shifted reality. The time that happened since you got back and beyond is now in another version of reality."

Editor's Note: Aaaand this confirms that this is Xavier. First he helps the Questers instead of berating them (even if he doesn't get there in time to help them in battle), then he explains advanced time mechanics that Illian would simply go 'YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND FOOLS' and move on about. He had me going for those past logs where he seemed strangely distant...

Dragoshi: "...Interesting."

Metal Man: "In the current reality... he has escaped pre-emptively."

Aribar: "...I hate time travel. Way too confusing."

Charles Magellean has laid lifeless on the floor, even after taking damage from a black hole(?), and whatever else was targeted to all.

Metal Man: "...We shall be on the lookout for him, though."

Dragoshi: "...I hate time traveling in GENERAL."

Alexia: "So if we can cross over to that reality, we can slap the cuffs on him."

Metal Man: "...Not so simple."

Julian Sawyer: "So we go back two hours before he escapes, and take the stone!"

Alexia gently picks Charles up using TK.

Wolfman just keeps quiet right now, and will speak to Metal when we get back to base.

Metal Man: "If we went there, we'd see him escape here. And vice versa. ...Wait a minute..."
*He looks at an old mission.
* "...Oh... god.
It's worse than I thought."

Alexia: "Uh-oh."

Julian Sawyer: "...What? What the hell now?"

Metal Man: "...All the way back when Kuja was ruler, he sent several people to the future."

Julian Sawyer: "What the F**K is he doin'?"

Dragoshi: "...Sheet."

Metal Man: "And they stole... yet another time stone."

Alexia facepalms.

Julian Sawyer: "..."

Charles Magellean floats like a carcass, his eyes... all black.

Aribar: "Where is the last stone?"

Metal Man: "...So sooner or later... he'll have at least four of them."

Dragoshi: "..."

Alexia: "That guy thought of it all..."

Wolfman: "...he currently HAS four."

Metal Man: "No. He took one out and showed you it."

Dragoshi: "Yeah."

Julian Sawyer: "MOTHER-CENSORED- SON OF -CENSORED- -CENSORED--" *Rant.*

Wolfman: "...I'd rather not think about it."

Alexia: "Whoa, Julian, calm down."

Dragoshi: "...****in' 'ell"

Aribar blinks and shakes his head. He really hates time travel.

Wolfman: "Metal, should I give my briefing to you when we're back and not busy arguing at the enemy HQ?"

Metal Man: "Well, yes."

Wolfman doesn't believe we've all warped yet.
"...then let's go."

Aribar: "Metal, what happens if, say, a Time Stone was hit by enough lightning spells and such to explode?"

Dragoshi guesses a paradox.

Alexia: "We can also hopefully find out why Charles is like this..."

Metal Man: "...You would cause a good chunk of time to explode. There is a method, but the stones work by controlling time by relaying what happens to them to time itself."

Dragoshi: "...That's even WORSE"

Metal Man: "Take power from them, go back in time. Add power, go forward.
Stabilize power... stop it.
I should say, hook it up to a ground."

Wolfman: "...or a cannon?"

Alexia: "Like Ivo's mech."

Metal Man: "The cannon apparently used one... and a lot of power. Had Kuja realized there were 7... we'd be doomed."

Dragoshi: "... Yep."

Metal Man: "But thanks to his lack of research, he didn't have enough power until it was too late."

Wolfman looks to see if anyone hasn't really... well, moved lately.

Metal Man (GM): Mission Completed - 10,000 coins

Wolfman finally has coins.

Garrick Fy`aar is back at the headquarters, working silently on his weapons in the lab...

Metal Man (GM): Also...
+2,000 EXP for the chaotic battle

Aribar sighs. "Well... Inform us when any leads on Ivo come up." The elf enters the portal.

Metal Man: "Like too many others... we must wait until he resurfaces again."
*He walks into the portal.*

Wolfman picks up any stragglers and then enters the portal.

Dragoshi: "...We'll have to secure the remaining Time Stones before Ivo has a chance to get them"

Alexia walks into the portal, holding Charles.

Dragoshi walks into the portal.

Wolfman: "Metal, shall I brief you in private then?"

Metal Man: "Sure..."

Metal Man (GM): Until I can fix it as surely as my righty, I don't want to jeopardize it.

Aribar heads to the R&R and sits down to watch some TV...

Dragoshi heads to the kitchen and makes a hefty meal for himself.

Alexia drops Charles off at the medical room, then heads her room to rest. "Boy, Del, if you could have seen me now..." She chuckles sadly and enters her room.

Aetos (OOC): This mission certainly raised many questions and problems and misunderstandings.
