Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 363: Portal Lunacy
Date: May 15th, 2007.
Locos Docos (GM): It is Earth of the dimension Lunar Side. On the east coast of the central continent, it is very late in the morning. At noon today, the Lunarian Moon will cause a total solar eclipse in this area. In the plains of the continent lies a small Solarian settlement. In the settlement, there is housing indigenous to the local environment. The settlement is small, but still of Solarian design, without any trace of Solarian soldiers.
Locos Docos (GM): Sadly, this settlement has, too, been destroyed. Within 37 minutes of storming the settlement, many of the buildings have caught fire. All the inhabitants were exterminated on sight. Senior citizens were choked to death... adolescent males' limbs were ripped off of their bodies, leaving them to die in a pool of their own blood... there is even an 8-year-old female child... decapitated by a scythe.
Locos Docos (GM): All around the burning buildings, the pyreflies of the dead wander the perimeter. They bob up and down at times. Some pass through buildings. Because of the brutality of what has happened, the pyreflies will remain here for a long time. To the immediate northern outskirts of the settlement, a figure stands.
Locos Docos (GM): The figure responsible comes into focus as it is revealed to be the blue armor-clad Maester Magellean. The Lunarian has a tremendous smile on his face.
Maester Magellean: "Extermination of the Solarians... 58%." *He heavily breathes with great joy as he licks his lips.*
Locos Docos (GM): He looks up to the sky and raises both of his arms upward. The red pendant around his neck begins to glow with the embodiment of his power. He is now ready to conduct the final ritual to finding the Giant of Babel. The camera turns toward the settlement, looking past one of the sides of Magellean.
Locos Docos (GM): A portal is opening within the middle of the ruined settlement... When the camera returns its focus on Magellean, it looks up to the sky. It is now noon. The Lunarian Moon causes a total solar eclipse at this point, covering the entire area in a red shadow. A large summoning circle appears. It is a considerable distance in front of Maester Magellean.
Maester Magellean: "Your time has arrived ... Let it begin!"
Locos Docos (GM): The ritual is beginning.
Maester Magellean: "Crystal of Water purifies the worlds' ocean..."
Locos Docos (GM): An elemental being of water appears North of the circle.
Maester Magellean: "Crystal of Wind maintains the skies..."
Locos Docos (GM): Another elemental being, this time of wind, appears East of the circle.
Maester Magellean: "Crystal of Fire rekindles the world with heat..."
Locos Docos (GM): An elemental being of fire manifests West of the circle.
Maester Magellean: "...and Crystal of Earth shall allow nature to thrive in barren wastelands."
Locos Docos (GM): The final elemental stands South of the circle, yet it is in front of Maester Magellean. The four elements begin to use their respective powers to beam their powers into the large circle.
Maester Magellean: "The Four have been ignited... Moon of the Stars, shine upon this land here and now!"
Locos Docos (GM): In space, the Lunarian Moon reacts to the incantation on Earth. It begins to shake violently. As it rumbles, white & crimson energy beams from the Moon, spiraling into the area which the four elementals pour their power into. With the power of the elemental energies and the Moon's power flowing into the circle, tremors can be felt kilometers around the circle. The settlement, that is full of dead bodies and burning buildings, begins to shake violently and cause small ruptures within the earth.
Maester Magellean: "I beseech to you of the ancients... rise. Rise, and raise the Tower of Babel with you! Unleash your power so I may use it to conquer Earth! Rise!! RISE, GIANT OF BABEL!!!!"
Locos Docos (GM): The four elementals become drained of their power and cease the surging of their powers into the circle. They return to the plane of existence that they were summoned from. The earth's violent shaking downgrades to slight tremors that occur every once in a while. Unlike the attempted summoning of the Giant of Babel on Nintendus, the white + crimson energy continues to shower on the large area. Maester Magellean lowers his arms. The ritual is complete. Pleased as to all the work he and his armies have done, all he has to do now is have patience... and the rest will work itself out... *Fadeout.*
Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, the Questers are on the Seeker. Metal is looking over a number of computer-generated statistics.
Alexia: "What's up?"
Dragoshi: "What's the current situation, Metal?"
Digifanatic: *just listens for now.*
Julian: *In usual chair, bouncing rubber ball against wall again.* "What they said."
Metal Man: "Not... good."
Julian: "As usual."
Metal Man presents... a picture of Eggman's cannon.
Dragoshi: "...What's the problem with it now?"
Metal Man: "It's still standing, but various portals have opened throughout it."
Digifanatic: "Oh boy..."
Metal Man: "As it is now it may destabilize and vanish into another dimension."
Dragoshi: "...Yikes."
Julian: "...Christ, I thought we took care of that."
Dragoshi: "...I think we still left the Reality Controller thing there, though..." >_>;; "...Did we?"
Alexia: "Maybe it broke?"
Julian: "No..."
Darkdata: "Hmm, so we have to go stabilize it then?"
Julian: "We gotta figure out what all's causin' those portals."
Metal Man: "It can't seem to take care of itself, so, once again, you'll have to deal with it... otherwise it may just cause more problems."
Alexia: "Got it!"
Julian: "Whatever. Set it up."
Metal Man opens the warp to the cannon.
Digifanatic: "Like we haven't come across enough glitched up things since we've hit this planet... ah, well."
Dragoshi: "Just open the-Thank you." *Runs over to the warp.*
Digifanatic: *walks over.*
Julian: *Julian snatches his ball out of the air, gets up, and heads for the warp.*
Alexia runs over and enters the warp.
Darkdata just follows behind the rest.
Azure pops up and warps.
Metal Man (GM): And another moment... Egg Cannon. The Questers appear in the base level, where the cannon sits. There's portals everywhere, and the entire place shakes eerily.
Alexia: "...Oh, man, this place is even worse than I expected."
Darkdata: "So where do we have to go?"
Julian: "This ain't good..." *Looks for stairs upwards.*
Darkdata follows Julian.
Metal Man (GM): Julian sees them, as usual. They're cracked, though.
Julian: *Up.*
Digifanatic: "Man, so many portals..." *heads up.*
Alexia races up the steps.
Dragoshi: *Zooms up the steps. Whee...*
Darkdata takes his time up the steps. Being wary of breakage.
Azure follows also taking careful steps which... really wasn't an issue.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers zoom up, and they see yet another portal. It glows off to the side. It's bigger than the others, but the Questers can walk by it.
Darkdata looks at the portal. "This one looks different..."
Julian: *We'll be walking around that...*
Alexia: *Ditto.*
Dragoshi: *Same.*
Digifanatic: "Unless what's on the other side is key to succeeding in this one, I am not taking it." *avoids it and keeps going.*
Darkdata just follows the rest.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk further on up. It all seems the same, though; level after level of robot factories, hangars, cannon stuff... ...And another portal.
Darkdata makes a mark beside this portal. Then he continues climbing.
Julian: *Keep going until we hit the top.*
Digifanatic: *ditto.*
Alexia keeps ascending.
Azure takes a look around but continues upward.
Alexia: "I wonder what caused this..."
Dragoshi: *Movin' on up...*
Digifanatic: "Who knows on this planet."
Metal Man (GM): The Questers keep on going up. Another portal is in the next important room they see, which is full to the brim with broken robots. There's some corpses around it too. Really... really old, metallic-almost ones.
Alexia: "Holy cow..."
Dragoshi: "...Someone's been busy."
Metal Man (GM): The portal chucks out another person, who glances at the Questers.
Dragoshi: "..."
Alexia: "..."
Darkdata: "Erm... Hello?"
???: "What? The Questers? You're all dead!"
Dragoshi: "...We are?"
Metal Man (GM): He points his wrist at the Questers.
???: "Long live Kuja!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): He fires a massive blast of lasers at the Questers, ripping the area around them to shreds, and leaps into the portal.
Dragoshi: "Well, something doesn't add up here. Either-...Huh. Alternate reality?"
Julian: "...What."
Alexia: "...That was random."
Dragoshi: "...Ya think?"
Julian: *Onward.*
Darkdata: "Right..." *follows the others.*
Alexia just shakes her head and continues.
Dragoshi: *Moving on...*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers get all the way to the top... yet another portal. A white light issues from this one. Ivo Robotnik is busy scratching his head.
Darkdata: "... How odd..."
Dragoshi: "Hiya, Ivo."
Julian: "I'm guessin' you got no idea what's goin' on either."
Ivo Robotnik: "Well, I see you're here, but... yeah... these portals. I don't know what they're here for."
Azure: "So there just... here?"
Ivo Robotnik: "I had a a ghost of Kuja warn me not to bring artifacts to the... X-zone... which was odd, since this isn't the X-zone."
Julian: "'Spose we should check 'em out." *Inspects that white-light portal.*
Dragoshi: *Mutters to self.* "...Well, I doubt someone screwed around with the Reality Controller, 'cause I don't see any glitches..."
Metal Man (GM): It looks like one can just walk in.
Alexia: "...I'll go."
Julian: "Let's go!" *Enters the portal.*
Darkdata runs into the portal.
Alexia takes a deep breath and jumps into the portal.
Dragoshi: "..." *Ker-follow.*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk in... this place is odd. It's an entirely white room.
Blade: "...Hrm... this place is odd..."
Metal Man (GM): There's two staircases. Discernible walls.
Darkdata: *Detect Magic Spellsong.*
Metal Man (GM): The staircase to the NW goes up, and the one to SE goes down.
Julian: "Well ain't this grand..." *SE stairs.*
Blade shrugs, and follows the brawl-happy one.
Dragoshi: *...Southeast it is, apparently.*
Darkdata waits for the results of his spell.
Alexia: *Southeast, Jeeves...*
Metal Man (GM): Julian walks down the SE stairs. He appears atop the NW stairs... and sees the people behind him as being above him on the stairs. The people on the SE stairs see Julian down the stairs... and also across the room on the NW stairs.
Julian: "..."
Dragoshi: *Tries the NW stairs.* >_>
Blade: "...That's strange..."
Alexia: "..."
Darkdata sees this with a o_O look.
Alexia: "It's like that one staircase painting on heavy drugs."
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi goes up those stairs and reappears at the SE stairs. He sees Julian as being down the stairs.
Julian: *Facepalm.* "Why can't we ever do somethin'..." *Heads back to ground level and checks to see if there's somethin' normal besides the stairs.*
Douglas: *Dexes beep!*
Alexia gets off the stairs of craziness and opens her Dex.
Julian: *Dex.*
Dragoshi: *Opens dex...*
Glyph: [Hop] "Hey guys!"
Blade moves onto the SE stairs and tries going down them.
Darkdata opens his dex, apparently his spell was unsourceable.
Blade: "Hello, Hop. We've got a conundrum."
Douglas: "Hey! I heard Ivo say something about the X-zone? I went to go get my stuff! I'm gonna head over to you guys mmk?"
Julian: "Now ain't the time, Hop."
Glyph: [Hop] "But I just built a holographic dealy! It's cool!"
Douglas: *Pushes Hop to the side.*
Metal Man (GM): Odd... there is Hop AND Douglas on the screen. Or at least, fighting over it.
Glyph: *Hop pushes Douglas back.*
Alexia: "Send it over, Hop. And will you two stop being schoolkids?"
Darkdata: "This is almost comical."
Glyph: *Hop steps back, allowing Douglas to fall over if he's not careful and tries to warp over his new thing.*
Douglas: "Hey. Let's get a warp set up over here, people!" *Shouting back into the current HQ.*
Metal Man (GM): *BZT* *BONK* The cube appears... ...and is now falling down the stairs... ...Up the stairs... ...Down the stairs... It's going around and around both stairs.
Blade moves to catch the cube.
Alexia reaches over and grabs it.
Douglas pokes Hop. "Oh. You. Would you warp me over there too?"
Metal Man (GM): Blade and Alexia grab it when it hits the bottom of the NW stairs... and so does Dragoshi and Azure.
Glyph: *Hop presses buttons attempting to warp things to the place the Questers are at until he manages to get a lock on Douglas.*
Alexia: "..."
Julian: "...Okay, everyone's got it. Now what?"
Blade relinquishes it. "So, what is this?"
Azure lets go since so many people have hold of it.
Julian: "Hell if I know. Ask Hop."
Glyph: [Hop] "It's a thing. A holographic thing."
Metal Man (GM): A vase, a computer, part of Metal's sandwich, a shoe, an iron, half of Douglas' hair, one of Douglas' sleeves, and then Douglas crashes down the stairs.
Douglas: *Ahhh?*
Alexia: "Uhh... Hiya."
Darkdata: "That had to hurt..."
Metal Man (GM): SE.
Julian: "...Let's jus' get the hell out of here 'fore Hop sends us anything else." *Dexes the 'thing.*
Blade: "...this is too... well... too mind-bending for me."
Metal Man (GM): Dogulas fell down the SE stairs and then appeared atop the NW stairs and fell down them and landed on the ground.
Douglas might stop tumbling soon, and he recomposes and returns to the others. "Hey! This place feels great."
Blade: "It feels like a prison is what it does."
Metal Man (GM): One can, of course, exit the room at any time.
Julian: *EXIT.*
Alexia: "...Drag, can I have it? Please?"
Metal Man (GM): Julian exits the room. Ivo is currently sitting in his chair.
Blade grumbles and leaves. "What the hell kind of room was that?"
Dragoshi: "...Why would you want it?"
Metal Man (GM): Ivo grabs the sandwich off of Julian's sleeve and eats it.
Alexia: "...Because?"
Dragoshi: "..."
Ivo Robotnik: "Go back in there sometime. Maybe you'll find the other half of this..." *eats rest of sandwich.* "Sandwich."
Douglas coughs.
Julian: "...Right." *Julian heads back down to the second portal they encountered.* "You want the other half, talk to Hop.*
Douglas: "Is that the sandwich Glyph warped from Metal?"
Blade follows Julian still.
Ivo Robotnik: "It is? No wonder why it's full of walnuts."
Darkdata follows the brawler.
Dragoshi: "...Fine." *Lets go and leaves.* "You can have it."
Alexia: "Thanks." *leaves the Escher-on-LSD room and runs down to the others.*
Dragoshi: *Has left the strange room, and is heading down to said second portal.*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers get to the room with the bodies of Kuja men
Julian: "We need some kind of throwable mini-camera or somethin' that we can toss into portals and check 'em out before entering..."
Metal Man (GM): One can see inside it, actually, without entering.
Douglas: "Me?"
Metal Man (GM): It looks close enough to home. The Stadium, the area around it, some buildings in the distance...
Alexia looks at the thing sent from Hop, in the meantime.
Julian: *Enter.*
Dragoshi: *Enter...*
Douglas hops through!
Alexia looks up. "Hey, wait!" *enters the portal.*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers enter it, and see... ...the burnt-out remains of the stadium.
Douglas: "Hey look. Dead Questers?"
Metal Man (GM): 'Kuja Valley' 'Kuja Town' 'Kuja Lake'
Alexia: "..."
Metal Man (GM): The old signs the Questers guys spent so much time burning down are all here.
Alexia: *Exit.*
Metal Man (GM): One can walk, of course, directly to 'Kuja Town'
Douglas skips to Kuja Town.
Julian: *Wanderin' to Kuja Town.*
Dragoshi: *Yep...*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk in. The Toads are under the jurisdiction of marching patrols of the armed Kuja supersoldiers. They continue around the town, until one of them sees the Questers.
Supersoldier: "What? A Quester? Kuja just finished dealing with them!"
Supersoldier2: "It's them! We must kill them for Kuja!"
Supersoldier3: "Chaaaargeee!!!!!"
Dragoshi: "..." *Draws out his scythe.* >_>
Metal Man (GM): Five of them run at the Questers, blasters flaring.
Julian: *Plans on running.*
Douglas: "Uhhh wait?"
Azure turns around to that portal.
Douglas: "Julian, prove to them that we're on their side?"
Dragoshi: *Thinkin' the same... Run!*
Julian: *Julian's already run away at this point.*
Douglas rolls his eyes and runs. .oO(Cowards!)
Metal Man (GM): The Questers all run. They chase after you. The ground behind the Questers explodes violently.
Supersoldier: "Yes! Run, you foolish Questers! You shall all die in the name of Kuja!"
Alexia wanders down to the first-encountered portal.
Supersoldier2: "Denon shall run you down with his airship! Hahahahah!"
Metal Man (GM): The Questers do, indeed, see the Archelago II chasing after them.
Douglas: "AHHHHH!"
Metal Man (GM): Big-arse lasers blow holes in the ground as they flee.
Julian: *Run away, RUN AWAY!*
Dragoshi: *Runnin' away at max speeds...>_>*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers leap into the portal just as they hear somebody say 'FLARE STAR' *BLOAMMMM* The portal literally explodes out of existence behind everyone.
Alexia: "...I take it you nearly got killed?"
Julian: "Shut it." *Heads downstairs.*
Dragoshi: "...Yea, what he said." *Ker-follow.*
Digifanatic: *starts going downstairs.*
Alexia: *mentally.* "Yep."
Douglas frowns.
Alexia follows, still absently turning Hop's item around in her hands.
Douglas whistles a tune.
Metal Man (GM): The questers reach the next portal.
Azure: "That ended thankfully without conflict."
Julian: *Look...*
Douglas hops through. "Wheeeee!"
Metal Man (GM): Julian sees... ...HQ, except normal this time. It looks a little old, though. Douglas appears inside. He seems normal too.
Julian: *Enter...*
Alexia enters the portal.
Douglas waves his hands around. "Laaaa... Oh." *Looks at signs.*
Dragoshi: *Ker-enter.*
Metal Man (GM): There is... ...an orange sky, and the old HQ. Sardis Mongul appears.
Digifanatic: *follows cautiously.*
Sardis: "This realm is not like your own. Time flows differently. You must finish your goal here to progress further in your own world."
Douglas: "HI GUY... Who may or may not want to destroy me for no good reason still."
Metal Man (GM): He vanishes, and the way inside is open.
Dragoshi: "...I see. Interesting."
Alexia: "..."
Douglas shrugs and runs along to the inside.
Dragoshi: *Proceeds.*
Alexia just heads inside.
Digifanatic: *moves on.*
Julian: "...Hate this place." *Heads inside.*
Metal Man (GM): Professor Oak and Wolfman are inside, talking.
Professor Oak: "Hello Wolfman. My research on the Fighter Remote has been... interesting."
Wolfman: "How, exactly? I want it completed soon. The fans are getting bored of just watching."
Professor Oak: "But Wolfman, it is impossible! There is nothing that can store so much data... and then transfer it to the minds of others! I've worked on Technical Machines before, but pokemon are hard-wired for such. We have no clue if it'll even work after accomplishing the impossible!"
Douglas: "This -again-??..."
Dragoshi: "...again?" >_>;;
Wolfman: *Frowns.* "That's not what I wanted to hear... please, Oak. You have to complete this. We can't go on with the same people being beaten. I've even heard Ganondorf wants his pay raised to compensate..."
Professor Oak: "Fine, but don't expect any miracles. I'm not like all the other scientists."
Digifanatic: .oO(Hard-wired? Oh man... bad memories of Mewthree...)
Metal Man (GM): Then they walk away, Oak moving towards his lab.
Douglas: "Ganondorf will come in once Oak leaves... he's going to intimidate and threaten Wolf. Watch, I'm psychic."
Alexia: "...Ae, we've all seen this before."
Dragoshi: "Yep..."
Metal Man (GM): Ganondorf walks in... ...
Julian: "Hate. This. Place."
Metal Man (GM): He turns to Douglas. His face has been replaced with a smiley face.
Douglas blinks.
Dragoshi: "...what."
Metal Man (GM): He then picks up Douglas and begins shaking him.
Douglas waves... "...Can you see me this time? AHH!!!"
Ganondorf: "Glpt... THORP... geblag!!!!"
Julian: *watches...*
Ganondorf: "ZELDA GNRPG!!!!"
Douglas: "Put me down!"
Metal Man (GM): He glitches out, and then makes the noise Missingno. makes. ...Then Professor Oak comes out and pulls out a gun and shoots Ganondorf. Ganondorf falls over and disintegrates.
Professor Oak: "I hate it when the holograms do that."
Douglas lands on his feet and sighs. "What the heck..."
Dragoshi: "...Wow." >_>;;
Metal Man (GM): Seemingly... Then... the Questers see Serena Gibson, Garrick Fy'Arr...
Alexia: "...Is it just me, or did Ganondorf sound kinda like that thing we fought earlier?"
Metal Man (GM): Leo, Alexia, and Julian walk in... And Dragoshi.
Digifanatic: *mumbling.* "Oh man..."
Serena Gibson: "I've researched it a bit. That building looks familiar."
Garrick: "GRAH, get away from me..."
Alexia: "Oh, crap, the timeline's broken..."
Dragoshi: "...This makes no sense whatsoever."
Metal Man (GM): Professor Oak walks out again, the simulation restarting with them watching. Wolfman walks out too.
Professor Oak: "Hello Wolfman. My research on the Fighter Remote has been... interesting."
Leo: "Is this like in the past?"
Julian: "I'm thinkin' we ain't nowhere of the sort. Some kinda fucked up alternate dimension or somethin'."
Wolfman: "How, exactly? I want it completed soon. The fans are getting bored of just watching."
Dragoshi: *Conceals himself... By turning into a shadow, not really wanting to deal with any problems...*
Serena Gibson: "Fans? There a concert?"
Douglas scratches his chin. "Wasn't I with you guys?.. Or was this a different time?"
Metal Man (GM): They continue talking...
Alexia: "Fighter Remotes..."
Dragoshi: "...I have no idea."
Julian: "Fighter Remote? That shit that what caused all this mess?"
Garrick: "...we're in the past."
Metal Man (GM): *BZT* *BZKT.*
Alexia: "Uh-oh..."
Dragoshi: "...Did reality break again?"
Julian: "Fighter Remote's where you get all the smashers, get their moves, then zap some sucka an' give 'em to him."
Metal Man (GM): Another group of people walk on in.
Dragoshi: "...This has turned into a fine, soupy, mess." >_>;;
Alexia: "NOW what!?"
Douglas blinks... "...Is the X-zone collapsing on itself?"
Jeff: *Walks in.* "...This place is completely bogus."
Dragoshi: "...Isn't it always doing that?"
Santa Claus: "Why did I wind up here again?"
Alexia: "..." *headwalls.*
Julian: "That's it, I'm outta here." *Julian throws up his hands and exits the 'Stadium'.*
Jeff: "Because you crashed into my MTA."
Dragoshi: "...Wow. Talk about a freakin' mess."
Douglas: "...Is the X-zone folding over on itself, causing several events to happen at the same time even though they are older events?"
Alexia: *WHAM WHAM WHAM.*
Digifanatic: *looks to see if that portal's still there... he's not taking it yet but at least it'll give him some comfort knowing it's there.*
Alexia: "...Dare I ask what happens next?"
Metal Man (GM): The portal is still there.
Dragoshi: "...So broken."
Darkdata: "Only time will tell..."
Julian: *Julian's walkinthe Questers see Glyph's cube come to life, and suddenly Glyph's hologram appears here.
Douglas: "Hm... I wonder if we'll see that one guy, you know, Dragoshi?"
Metal Man (GM): Also, yet another Garrick appears.
Digifanatic: *gets outta there as well.*
Douglas: "The guy with that sword?"
Dragoshi: "You mean the Shadar?"
Darkdata: "Glyphcube?"
Douglas shrugs.
Ganondorf: "What sort of nonsense are you speaking? The King of Evil does not play with toys... and I don't like wolves either!"
Glyph: [Hop] "I'm confused!"
Alexia: "Join the club, Hop..."
Meier Link: "I shall destroy the Questers once and for all!"
Dragoshi: "Yea, speaking of which... What about the-...Okay! That's it!"
Alexia looks up to make sure the ceiling isn't turning into tapioca or something.
Dragoshi: "This is way too out of line."
The Void: *Floats in.* "Oh, sorry about that."
Glyph: *Hop uses his cube to start anti-hologramming things if it is a hologram.*
Dragoshi: *Makes sure that the Dancing Charleses or anything from that one fight against Eggman doesn't appear.*
The Void: "This isn't, say, my X-zone, but somebody left on the simulation. They... ...get corrupt if you do that."
Dragoshi: "...I see what you mean."
The Void: "But... maybe we could watch some more before we turn it off?"
Dragoshi: "Especially since some people that really shouldn't be here are... Oh, and sure."
Metal Man (GM): *In the background, Zio is sword-fighting with Kales for no reason.*
Thorn: *Walks in with Zorn.* "This is completely incorrect!"
Dragoshi: "..." *Waits for the bees.*

Metal Man (GM): The Questers glimpse a hat moving around, and then all the disturbances fade out.
Julian: *Julian's out in the real world, having had enough of this nonsense.*
Metal Man (GM): It's back to normal, and since the Questers have seen it already... no more replays, unless they want to hear Oak talk again.
Darkdata: *Anime Fall at what Zorn just said.*
Glyph: *Hop puts his cube hat back on.*
Metal Man (GM): Yes, a hat.
Alexia: "...Hallelujah."
Dragoshi: "...Wiggeh."
The Void: "Dang it." *Vanishes.*
Glyph: [Hop] "I saved the day!"
Alexia portals out of this place, still carrying the cube.
Metal Man (GM): Hop is dragged out of the portal with Alexia.
Dragoshi: *Anything of interest...?*
Metal Man (GM): The disturbances are gone here. That was probably what was causing the portal.
Glyph: [Hop] "Wha!"
Julian: "A'ight, THAT's done..." *Head downstairs some more.*
Darkdata goes to the portal.
Dragoshi: *Exits out.*
Darkdata follows the brawler again.
Douglas leaves and goes to the next Portal Julian is going to.
Digifanatic: "...yyyyyeah." *keeps going along now.*
Alexia follows the others again.
Metal Man (GM): Odd. The Questers hear part of "This is all wrong! The sun is..." as they leave the portal. But it vanishes as they all arrive at the last portal. Ivo is staring at this one.
Alexia: "Hiya."
Ivo Robotnik: "I don't think the portals are all that important... none of them make any sense, that I've seen. Maybe they dissipate automatically."
Dragoshi: "...Yo."
Glyph: [Hop] "Can you let go of my brain now Miss Alexia?"
Alexia: "Oh, uh, sorry." *puts the cube on the ground.*
Douglas shrugs.
Glyph: *Hop picks it up with his AWESOME solid hologram POWERS.* "Hooray for technology!"
Darkdata enters the last portal. "Well we have seen the rest, might as well finish."
Julian: "...So what'd we get called here for if the portals close themselves?"
Glyph: [Hop] "Wait! Mr. Data, sir, please wait for a moment here!"
Douglas: "..." *Hmmm.*
Ivo Robotnik: "...Well, I don't know. But there was that one with the men who tried to kill me for Kuja. You didn't happen to find out what happened with that one?"
Douglas: "They're still at it, of course."
Dragoshi: "That one blew up."
Douglas: "They chased us down with a giant battleship."
Darkdata stops.
Dragoshi: "The portal, I mean."
Darkdata: "Fine."
Glyph: [Hop] "I thought, I thought maybe it might be a trap. Maybe I should step in being not currently real and all."
Alexia looks at this final portal.
Glyph: *Hop holds up his holo-hat.*
Julian: *looks in as well...*
Glyph: *Hop holds his cube hat out and steps through the portal.*
Locos Docos (GM): As the Questers go to look in... a scythe from the other side of the room is flying at those who are at the portal!
Glyph: [Hop] "Oh, applesauce."
Dragoshi: "...That wasn't me." *Looks for the scythe-thrower...*
Darkdata: "Oh, wow, thank you Hop."
Alexia gets hit in the chest.
Julian: *Julian ducks out of the way of the scythe and checks for the source.*
Glyph: *Hop attempts to pull himself together.*
Digifanatic: *was in the room but not at the portal.*
Locos Docos (GM): The scythe now floats in front of the portal. Its source is unknown.
Julian: "Who the fuck threw that?"
Alexia: *Was standing in front, looking inside. Ouch.*
Azure: "A good question..."
Locos Docos (GM): No damage. However, the Questers at the portal were knocked away from the portal by it.
Alexia: "Ow... dammit..." *gets back on her feet.*
Julian: *Attempt to look inside portal again...*
Glyph: *Hop stacks himself together again.*
Digifanatic: *slowly walks towards portal but stays a somewhat safe distance away.*
Locos Docos (GM): The scythe... slashes at Julian!
Dragoshi: *Readies his own scythe...*
Glyph: *Hop rushes into the portal while the scythe is occupied.*
Alexia uses this chance to sidestep the scythe into the portal.
Locos Docos (GM): Julian fails as he is diagonally slashed by it.
Darkdata does the same.
Locos Docos (GM): All who now near the portal are blown by a strong wind. They are now 5 feet away from it.
???: "You hunters are very eager to see whats on the other side..."
Alexia: "Gaaaah!"
Julian: *OW!* "SON OF A BITCH!" *Julian backs off and rubs his wound.* "Dammit... Hunters?"
Locos Docos (GM): Pyreflies begin to gather around the scythe.
Julian: "Hunters... awwwwwwwwwwwwwww shit. This better not be who I think it is."
Alexia pulls herself back up... again. "Who?"
Locos Docos (GM): The congregation of pyreflies grabs the scythe.
Digifanatic: *swept back a bit and walks a step or two to where the others are, but still very mindful of his position.*
Locos Docos (GM): The congregation turns into a familiar figure... to that of Douglas, Dragoshi, and Julian, that is...
Douglas: "Hay. Pyreflies!"
Glyph: *Hop brushes off his holohat.*
Locos Docos (GM): It's a ...rabbit in a black suit?
Julian: "...Fuck. Hate it when I'm right."
Dragoshi: "..."
Locos Docos (GM): It... looks like Cream the Rabbit.
Cream?: "My master wouldn't appreciate you barging in that portal. If you know what's good for you, you'll not enter at all."
Douglas: "Oh... YOU!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."
Darkdata: "WHAT A CUTE BUNNY!" *cough.*
Alexia: "...Is this known as burying the needle on the 'what the hell' scale?"
Douglas: "Weren't you... from that -one place-?!"
Digifanatic: *turns his head away from DD and rolls his eyes a bit.*
Douglas: "You know, that one place we're not allowed to mention?"
Cream?: "You three..." She points at Julian, Dragoshi, and Douglas/Douglas.
Julian: *Dexes Cream to get her stats while she's busy monologuing...*
Dragoshi: "...Anyone up for Hasenpfeffer?" >_>
Ivo Robotnik: "That's impossible. Cream is a pushover."
Glyph: *Hop builds a holographic wall to peek out from behind.*
Cream?: "I haven't forgotten what you did to my Chao, Cheese!"
Ivo Robotnik: "In fact, I kidnapped her mother pretty easily."
Douglas: "WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO IT!!"
Dex: *DING!*
Dragoshi: "...What's she blathering about?" >_>
Dex: "Cream. Lev---"
Darkdata: *Eye of truth+Dex.* <_<
Locos Docos (GM): Before the Questers get more readings, something happens to her..
Alexia: "...Cheese?"
Douglas: "Her cow."
Cream?: "You want to go through this portal?!?!" *Begins powering up.*
Alexia desperately tries to make sense of this insanity.
Locos Docos (GM): She transforms into her... pure Hyper form state?
Douglas: "If it means finding out how you escaped 'the place' and got into reality, then yes!"
Ivo Robotnik: "...Wait a minute... that Cream can do more than merely get angry." He gets in his Egg-o-matic and books it. "Better alive than dead!"
Dragoshi: "...Oh, god dammit Ivo! ...Can I at least get my machinegun ba-...Nevermind."
Julian: "This is bad..."
Digifanatic: "Ohhhhhhh..."
Dragoshi: "Yea, I know." .oO(I didn't get my machinegun back.)
Hyper Cream: "I was sent by master to follow you people if this situation ever happened. He was right!"
Darkdata: *Well Eye+Dex now then.* "So how scary is she..?"
Dex: *DING.*
Douglas: "Master?"
Dex: "Hyper Cream. Level: 150. HP: 787/787. STR: 12. END: 15. SPD: 21. MNT: 12."
Locos Docos (GM): She rises into the air... she now floats at a constant 5 feet.
Julian: "We had to retreat the last time we fought her, 'cause we couldn't put a dent in. She's got some kinda plastic-wrap shield that cuts damage."
Locos Docos (GM): Strange... she doesn't seem as powerful as before.
Digifanatic: *looks at her.* .oO(Man, this doesn't get much strang--yeah, it can.)
Dex: "Description: This Cream has been identified as the one fought in the Ethereal Realm. Her powers seem to have weakened, though..."
Douglas: "But Julian, she's not in -the place- right now..."
Dex: "End of entry."
Darkdata: "Hmm..."
Julian: "Looks like that shield's gone, though."
Azure facepalms "Another Cream... incarnation..."
Hyper Cream: "Do you still want to risk your lives to see what's on the other side?"
Dragoshi: "..." *Eyeroll.*
Darkdata: "Gee, when someone tries to stop us... it is a bit obvious?"
Julian: *Julian puts up his dukes!* "Bring it."
Alexia drops into her battle stance.
Dragoshi: "...Seriously, though. Anyone up for Hasenpfeffer?" >_> *Twirls his scythe around and gets into a stance..*
Hyper Cream: "Then I'll do what I can to stop you!"
Glyph: *Hop steps out from behind his wall.*
Julian: "What the hell is that?"
Douglas mutters.
Dragoshi: "A form of cooked rabbit."
Darkdata: "Rabbit Stew?"
Dragoshi: "Nah. I think that's a different thing altogether."
Douglas: "Do you ever cook anything you say you are going to cook, Dragoshi? Turtle soup? Nope... Cooked Rabbit? Probably not."
Dragoshi: "Yea, well, I try." >_> "But, sadly, fate gets in the way."
Locos Docos (GM): Cream glows with the power of the Hyper transformation..
Hyper Cream: "Let's start off heavy."
Darkdata: *uuugh.*
Locos Docos (GM): She holds out a spare hand and a gravity field appears around all the Questers. It expands over all of them, sends out a few surges, condenses with all the Questers inside of it, and disappears. The surges cause all of the Questers' current health to be reduced by 35%.
Darkdata: "So, anyway. What has your master planned?"
Dragoshi: *Takes damage.* "...Ow. Somewhat." *Zooms forward 3 feet, then jumps up 5 feet.*
Glyph: *Hop ponders what 35% of 0 is.*
Locos Docos (GM): She prepares for the first strike...
Azure: *takes damage.*
Locos Docos (GM): She doesn't seem to respond to Dark's question.
Darkdata: "Wow, a quiet enemy? Those are rare."
Glyph: [Hop] "I like not being told I am a fool and will die."
Dragoshi: *Anyway, after doing all that, Dragoshi swipes at Cream with his scythe, then follows up with a flip kick.*
Locos Docos (GM): The first catches her by surprise. She is attacked by the flip kick which leaves her vulnerable to both scythe swipes. She is a bit startled by your attacks, but shakes her head just as fast.
Hyper Cream: "Y-y-you... improved!"
Dragoshi: *Dragoshi would then proceed to breath out a gout of flame at the rabbit, and try to strangle her with his tail.*
Digifanatic tries to figure out how to manage his gap properly... he runs forward 4 feet and then takes a jump upward 4 feet, enough range to slam an Aerial Strike to Cream's body... he switches directions and does the same move downward!
Locos Docos (GM): She shakes off more of the damage. She stares intently at Julian...
Julian: *Julian cracks his knuckles, runs at Cream, leaps into the air... and tries to rake her eyes! Dirty Attack!*
Locos Docos (GM): Dirty attack hits.
Julian: *Julian drags his thumbs across Cream's eyes for the Daze! And Julian follows up with a...* *Brick to the head! Rolling for Critical...* *Nope! More damage, and Julian falls back to the ground, landing on his feet.*
Locos Docos (GM): Cream is blinded for a brief moment, but she immediately shakes her head as well as shaking off the Daze.
Douglas spends his turn sending a breeze of glowing wind into Julian, and then into himself... healing them both.
Alexia: *Well, since I'm nearly half-dead anyways... Mend, then Overload!* *Sandstorm!*
Glyph: [Hop] "Allow me to show you my true power! And stuff!"
Hyper Cream: "...?"
Glyph: [Hop] "...as soon as I figure out what it is!"
Darkdata: "...?" *Anime fall.*
Hyper Cream: *sweatdrop.*
Julian: *facepalm.*
Dragoshi: *Sigh.*
Darkdata: "Anyway... With all this sand, it would make for a great elemental."
Glyph: [Hop] "Oh wait! Oh wait! I just remembered! I'm 'Conserving my energy.'"
Darkdata: *Living Elemental Darksong.* - Sand!
Locos Docos (GM): Uhh... Darkdata summons a sand elemental--
Metal Man (GM): But it is never fully summoned, due to lack of sand.
Locos Docos (GM): Cream uses her scythe to shield her own eyes. She then descends downward, approaching Julian. She proceeds to spin her scythe 13 times and then does two slashes at him.
Julian: *Ow.*
Darkdata: "Wow, that Cream would make some killer coffee."
Alexia: "...Aim for the bard next!"
Locos Docos (GM): For the brief moment before Julian is slashed at again, he can almost see her scythe absorbing some of his life force and it transfers part of that to her own. Now for the second. Julian dodges it in time.
Julian: *Julian evades! Booyah!*
Locos Docos (GM): She moves over to Digi and proceeds to do the same attack. She spins her scythe 13 times and proceeds to slash at him twice. First. The strike drains 25% of Digi's current health. Part of his own HP is restored to hers as well.
King Demon is ready to join.
Hyper Cream: "Thank you for your offerings. Off I go!"
Locos Docos (GM): She proceeds to move before anticipating the next barrage of attacks. Her natural ability to constantly float kicks in, causing her to move up 5 feet.
Dragoshi: *Moves, then jumps up, and then proceeds to Tidal Blast Cream, following up with Indignation, and finishing the turn with a flip kick using the scythe for improved reach.*
Locos Docos (GM): She is washed away by the blast, moves away from the lightning, and flip kick hits. Hit by all.
King Demon didn't know that was possible under normal circs...
Hyper Cream: *Shakes her head, shaking off the stun.*
Digifanatic starts off his second turn the way he did his first: moving forward, then up. He launches an Aerial Strike to get right to Cream and ends his turn with a Running Charge from point blank range.
Locos Docos (GM): Hit, hit. Shakin' it off.
Julian: *Julian makes his second running leap of the game, going for another thumb to the eye!* *DAMN.*
Locos Docos (GM): She blocks Julian's thumb with hers. :P
Julian: *Julian attempts to follow up with a...* *MUCH BETTER.* *Baseball Bat! Here's the wind-up... the pitch!* *Double!*
Locos Docos (GM): Hit.
Julian: *Cream is roundly smacked upside the head with a Baseball Bat! Julian falls back to the ground after throwing away the bat.*
Azure moves up and erects a barrier, holding his position there. Keeping his attention focused on Cream. Unable to throw any blows that can hit from this range.
Douglas jumps up into the air vertically, and lands at the highest point, using Air Walk to stand on air.
Locos Docos (GM): She blocks the attempt with her scythe.
Hyper Cream: "...My Master... he has done everything he could to stay out of your way... yet here you are... attempting to go out your way to get into his way once more..."
Julian: "When yo' master starts stickin' his nose in our business, that kinda makes him OUR business."
Alexia: "Who the heck is your master, anyways?!"
Darkdata: "Is there any bad guys still alive with evil plans? We could narrow it down to 100..." <_<
Dragoshi: "...Thousand?"
Hyper Cream: "The portal... the portal! It must've come from the distortions that are happening in this place."
Alexia: "No way I could get a clear shot in this storm..." *defends.*
Hyper Cream: "Even if the portal came from the distortions of reality from this place, and not him, I will *continue.* to block your attempt to reach him!"
Alexia: "Then we'll continue to kill you."
Glyph: [Hop] "Uh, I don't really know what a hologram can do here, so, uh... Any... suggestions?"
Hyper Cream: "Convince your people to close the portal from here without entering it."
Julian: "An' how you suggest we do that?"
Glyph: [Hop] "Ms. Cream, ma'am, I don't think they even opened it in the first place."
Darkdata: "Hop, summon random objects!"
Hyper Cream: *No response to Julian's question.*
Glyph: *Hop spends his turn summoning a giant statue of a fish.* "Okay."
King Demon attempts to Flame Punch the cream puff thing twice.
Darkdata orders his elemental to try to take the scythe away from trix rabbi... Cream. Then he uses call item darksong, to try and take away the scythe.
Hyper Cream: "..." *she smirks, though nobody can see her do so.*
Locos Docos (GM): She decides against doing so and holds onto the scythe with great determination.
Hyper Cream: "I can't go on like this..it must be done!" She begins shaking her fist in anger.
Locos Docos (GM): Unfortunately, it goes in reverse this time. She powers *down.*.
Dragoshi: "..." *Blink-ku.*
Alexia: "...Y'know, these are the moments I live for as a Quester."
Dragoshi: "Wait for it..."
Locos Docos (GM): Cream lands down... wide-eyed as to what happened..
Cream?: "...Dammit. I don't have enough power since the transference from the other realm..."
Julian: "So you gonna surrender or what?"
Cream?: "It... has to be done. Know this, hunters.. I hate you, but I attempted to be compassionate and spare you from the wrath of my Master in the event you DO go into that portal..."
Julian: "Attackin' us ain't exactly my idea of 'compassion.'"
Cream?: "If you do... I'll see you on the other side..."
Locos Docos (GM): She begins to dissipate into pyreflies.
Digifanatic: "Yeah..."
Cream?: "I was charged with the task of stopping you however possible... I failed." *The pyreflies disappear into the portal.*
Glyph: [Hop] "You probably should have just asked us not to go in."
Julian: "See? That's what she shoulda done. Told us WHY we shouldn't go in. But no, she's gotta be all mysterious and attack us with a scythe."
Metal Man (GM): The portal remains there. Robotnik's returned by now...
Ivo Robotnik: "Bah! Charles is there? Why don't you finish your feud with him, Julian? I'd go in, but... those portals. The last one I went into sent me into a realm where Charles hurled a pie in my face."
Julian: "Charles?!"
Ivo Robotnik: "Well, it has to be somebody magical. These readings are off the charts!"
Metal Man (GM): The portal begins to fluctuate abnormally.
Douglas mutters.
Glyph: [Hop] "Um, weren't we just saying how we were going to not go there?"
Dragoshi: "...Hey, Ivo. Could I have my machinegun back? ...Well, after this is over anyway."
Ivo Robotnik: "Oh. Here." He hands it to Dragoshi.
Alexia enters the portal.
Glyph: *Hop gapes.*
Ivo Robotnik: "...Well, uh... I didn't expect that."
Julian: "..."
Ivo Robotnik: "I mean... I thought you'd go in as a group."
Glyph: [Hop] "I think, uh, I have to, um, not let, her go alone. Maybe."
Ivo Robotnik: "Unless Alexia is the terminator."
Glyph: *Hop slowly steps toward the portal.*
Dragoshi: "..." *Takes his machinegun back, and nods to Ivo.*
Glyph: [Hop] "Even I think this is a bad idea..." *Hop steps through the portal.*
Dragoshi: "...Right. She's apparently taking the initiative." *Enters through the portal.*
King Demon enters the portal.
Julian: "Charles!" *ANGER >:O Enter portal.*
Azure follows.
Ivo Robotnik: "...I must admit, I've been letting my gut go to my head."
Metal Man (GM): He presses a button, and a mechanical suit appears. He puts it on, and then flies into the portal..
Douglas goes too!
Ivo Robotnik: "Full power!!!!"
Locos Docos (GM): The Questers reach the Lunar Side. All Questers and Ivo appear on the other side of the portal.
Glyph: [Hop] "Miss Alexiaaa! Please come back!"
Locos Docos (GM): They are in the middle of ... A ruined settlement. All around them, the buildings are burning..
Dragoshi: "...Nice place."
Locos Docos (GM): ...There is not a soul around. The group sees bodies all around them.
King Demon: "This looks... oddly familiar..."
Locos Docos (GM): People have been disemboweled. Some have had their limbs cut off...
Dragoshi: *Examines a corpse to try and discern how long ago it died.*
Ivo Robotnik: "Typical." *He scans the area.* "Now, remember, if he tries to kill us all, I get to escape first!"
Locos Docos (GM): It... died fairly recently.
Julian: "Oh lord..." *This is worse than what they usually see.* ._.
Locos Docos (GM): And... oh..my..god.
Dragoshi: "...These deaths are rather... recent."
Alexia staggers back, suddenly looking sick.
Dragoshi: *What now?*
Locos Docos (GM): Right beside Julian... Beside Julian is the body of a very young girl... her head has been cut off and the eyes are looking right into him!!
Julian: *OH GOD.* XO
Dragoshi: *Looks beside Julian.* "...Wow. Whoever did this is a pro."
Julian: *Julian flinches and backs up hurriedly, glancing around for a way out of this hellhole.*
Locos Docos (GM): All around everyone, there are pyreflies floating all around.
Ivo Robotnik: *Stares at it... strangely, he isn't effected.* "I find it strange you attempted to stop me from killing Charles before he went here."
Locos Docos (GM): The ground... it's turning... red.
Julian: "I TOLD y'all, all along, that Charles was bad news. Look what happens when you don't listen."
Alexia: "..."
Dragoshi: "...I think the blood is soaking into the ground."
Locos Docos (GM): All around, it's becoming red and dark... ...There's a solar eclipse happening. There is someone yelling something in the northern outskirts... It is vague, but the Questers can see someone there.
Glyph: *Hop is no longer anywhere to be found. His hat is unceremoniously laying on the ground. It's probably a good thing he's not here to see this.*
Alexia runs over there.
Julian: "Charles... You gonna pay for this." *Julian heads for the northern outskirts.*
King Demon goes there as well, sword drawn.
Ivo Robotnik: "..." *He picks up the hat.* "...Helloooo here... ..." *He laughs quietly, and follows the Questers.*
Dragoshi: *Follows...*
Locos Docos (GM): There is someone there... clad in blue armor. Standing with his arms raised high.
Julian: *CHARLES!*
Dragoshi: "..." *GOLBEZ!...Err... Yea. Charles.*
Locos Docos (GM): A large summoning circle appears. It is a considerable distance in front of Maester Magellean.
Maester Magellean: "Your time has arrived ... Let it begin!"
Locos Docos (GM): The ritual is beginning.
Maester Magellean: "Crystal of Water purifies the world's oceans ..."
Locos Docos (GM): An elemental being of water appears to the North of the circle.
Maester Magellean: "... Crystal of Wind maintains the skies ..."
Locos Docos (GM): Another elemental being, this time of wind, appears East of the circle.
Maester Magellean: "... Crystal of Fire rekindles the world with heat ..."
Locos Docos (GM): An elemental being of fire manifests West of the circle.
Maester Magellean: ...and Crystal of Earth shall allow nature to thrive in barren wastelands."
Locos Docos (GM): The final elemental stands South of the circle, yet it is in front of Maester Magellean. The four elements begin to use their respective powers to beam their powers into the large circle.
Maester Magellean: "The Four have been ignited... Moon of the Stars, shine upon this land here and now!"
Locos Docos (GM): In space, the Lunarian Moon reacts to the incantation on Earth. It begins to shake violently. As it rumbles, white & crimson energy beams from the Moon, spiraling into the area which the Four elementals pour their power into. With the power of the elemental energies and the Moon's power flowing into the circle, tremors can be felt kilometers around the circle. The settlement, that is full of dead bodies, burning buildings, and Questers + an Ivo, begins to shake violently and cause small ruptures within the earth.
Maester Magellean: "I beseech to you of the ancients... rise. Rise, and raise the Tower of Babel with you! Unleash your power so I may use it to conquer Earth! Rise!! RISE, GIANT OF BABEL!!!!"
Locos Docos (GM): The four elementals become drained of their power and cease the surging of their powers into the circle. They return to the plane of existence that they were summoned from. The earth's violent shaking downgrades to slight tremors that occur every once in a while. Unlike the attempted summoning of the Giant of Babel on Nintendus, the white + crimson energy continues to shower on the large area. Maester Magellean lowers his arms. The ritual is complete. Pleased as to all the work he and his armies have done, all he has to do now is have patience... and the rest will work itself out... Back to Questers.
Julian: *Runrunrun.*
Alexia runs forward at top speed towards Charles.
King Demon: "Uh... That CAN'T be good..."
Dragoshi: *Zoom!*
Ivo Robotnik: "Come back here, Julian. We must kill this fool once and for all!"
Locos Docos (GM): One can feel tremors rumbling every once in a while.
Julian: "An' that's what we're gonna do!" *Was running TOWARDS Charles.*
Dragoshi: *Same.*
King Demon runs towards Charlie.
Alexia: *Ditto.*
Ivo Robotnik: "..." *Adjusts his glasses.* "...Last time I put them on backwards." *He follows the group in his mech.*
Maester Magellean: "At last... the Solarians will regret what they did to me!!"
Locos Docos (GM): The group is finally in talking distance with him.

Alexia whips out her gun.
Julian: "Bitch! You got a whole lot to answer for!"
Ivo Robotnik: "I have always been trying to defeat him, since his days with his military."
Maester Magellean: "...It can't be."
Dragoshi: *Shrugs then draws out his machinegun.*
Ivo Robotnik: "I have labored for years trying to destroy him... and here he is. He can't possibly survive this time..."
Alexia: "It is. And we've come to avenge those you've killed."
Locos Docos (GM): He turns around... and he sees everyone.
Maester Magellean: "YOU... HOW DARE YOU ENTER MY DIMENSION."
Alexia: "Stop the ritual. NOW."
Ivo Robotnik: "You cannot stop the Eggman! My cannon made a portal here... so we could finish our feud!"
King Demon: "Yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah... can't you guys come up with something new?"
Locos Docos (GM): He smiles insanely...
Maester Magellean: "The ritual is already done. Soon, I will have the Giant of Babel to take down the rest of the Solarians."
Locos Docos (GM): He steps forwards a few times.
Alexia: "Then we'll have to stop it. But first, you die."
Maester Magellean: "Think of it! Already, I've killed 58% of the population... Men... Women... Soldiers... Children, even!"
Dragoshi: "Children... I just said 'Children.'"
Metal Man (GM): Robotnik, again, seems unphased. He doesn't even care who died.
Julian: "We heard."
Maester Magellean: "All because they had the knowledge of the Solarians within them..."
Dragoshi: *Somewhat unphased...* "Such an idiotic reason..."
Alexia: *through clenched teeth.* "You're the sickest monster I've ever seen."
Maester Magellean: "NO. The Solarians are responsible for everything that had happened to me while I was alive. All the years of torture... dying then brought back to life..."
Dragoshi: "...I have seen sicker. Also... What happened in the past, stays in the past."
Maester Magellean: "They are the ones that caused my mind to become unstable."
Ivo Robotnik: "So, you're saying even the children tortured you? Bah. Gerald Robotnik wouldn't be so far off in making hasty generalizations like that."
Julian: "That STILL ain't a reason for genocide. An' guess what? We're gonna help you RE-balance it. Few blows to the head oughta do it."
Maester Magellean: "...Oh, now I see."
Locos Docos (GM): He takes a few more steps forward.
Maester Magellean: "You people have already forgotten what I said back in Trevor's castle when he impersonated me, haven't you?"
Ivo Robotnik: "But that is exactly the problem. You have become just like Trevor was."
Dragoshi: "...Heheh. Yep."
Maester Magellean: "I thought we had established that you people would never set foot into my home dimension."
Alexia: "All bets were off when you mass-murdered."
Dragoshi: "Quite."
Ivo Robotnik: "Honestly, I'm only here because I can't close the portals with Questers in it."
Julian: "FORGET what Trevor said. Past is past an' all that. You committed Genocide, we gonna take you out."
Maester Magellean: "Portal... so, Eggman...*you're* the one responsible for creating a portal here. It matters not. Why are you people even accusing me of crimes?"
Julian: "...Because you jus' fuckin' admitted to them!"
Ivo Robotnik: "Me? I don't care who you killed." He laughs evilly, taking out a cube. "I've been waiting to kill you all this time."
Julian: "You even know what kinda crap comes outta your mouth anymore?"
Ivo Robotnik: "And now you're here... Mwooo hoo hoo hoo!!!"
Dragoshi: *Absentmindedly flexes his left claw.*
Maester Magellean: "I took an extraordinarily amount of effort to stay out of your dimension so I wouldn't cause any more damage..."
King Demon: *w* "Why do I get the feeling Ivo doesn't mind if WE get killed as long as Charles dies as well?"
Maester Magellean: "And yet..here you are, ready to defend those that would smear the good meaning of existence itself."
Julian: "And I gotta say, I've been waitin' for this too. You ain't been NOTHIN' but trouble for the Questers since I showed up. You dodged every single attempt to settle this like a man when you was at least slightly sane."
Maester Magellean: "I want nothing more to do with you people. Whenever we are together, some always bad happens to your dimension, and that's why I spared us all that trouble... or at least tried to."
Ivo Robotnik: *Is silent. He knows Charles wants to lecture the Questers, so he spends this time loudly loading various machineguns.*
Maester Magellean: "I would've thought Cream would have warned you of what would have happened if you came here."
Julian: "Cream didn't do SHIT but attack us!"
Ivo Robotnik: *Points at Alexia.* "She did, but then Alexia ran in here screaming."
Dragoshi: *Spends his time offering Ivo his shotgun to use in case Charles somehow screws over his machineguns.*
Julian: "That ain't exactly what I'd call 'explainin.'"
King Demon leans on Ivo's mech.
Ivo Robotnik: *Takes the shotgun, adds various sights to it.*
Maester Magellean: "I had to protect myself from the off chance a portal from your dimension would open to mine! That's why I sent her to follow you... to make sure you never came here!"
Alexia: "Well, we did. Now you're gonna pay."
Maester Magellean: "But no, you people want continue to piss me off... well now I'm giving you one last chance."
Ivo Robotnik: "I built a cannon greater than Kuja's... no barrier could save you from that. I'm just surprised it misfired to here so badly."
Dragoshi: *Also uses his time to discreetly shoot himself with the Vendetta Machinegun's reverse setting, then sets it back to normal.*
Ivo Robotnik: "Honestly, I wanted to hit a realm full of soft, weak animals to roboticize... this place is too dead to be worth the effort."
Maester Magellean: "Leave now, and I will pretend that you never came here. I will keep to my devices and you can keep to yours."
Julian: "So you're STILL evil. Good to knoow."
Ivo Robotnik: *He points to the Questers.* "While I am in favor of destroying this being, if you should leave, I will not tempt suicide."
Alexia: "I don't think so, Charles."
Maester Magellean: "Evil!? All I want is my peace of mind... so I can be able to pass on to the Farplane."
Dragoshi: *Now even harder to hit.*
Ivo Robotnik: "However, I should warn you, this is his realm. And... you remember what happened with the last realm-owning person you fought..."
Dragoshi: "He doesn't own it though." :/
Maester Magellean: "I thought death would give me release... it didn't."
Dragoshi: "I mean, not completely."
Ivo Robotnik: "That's because... you aren't really dead if you carry on like this."
Dragoshi: "Yep..."
Maester Magellean: "DEATH NEVER CAME FOR ME."
Ivo Robotnik: "Hm... that's odd..." *Insert Douglas remembering something.*
Maester Magellean: "I hate my own existence because of my unstable mind... and if I am to undo the process, I will destroy the Solarians for what they have done to me."
Douglas coughs.
Maester Magellean: "I will be able to pass on once I have attained peace of mind... don't you understand?"
Dragoshi: "..." .oO(I wonder if he's just talking to buy this 'Giant of Babel' some time to rise.)
Douglas: "If death is what you want, then just call his name. ...Yo! Death! I found him!"
Maester Magellean: "You people are unbelievable!" *HAHAHAHAHAAA.*
Alexia: "I've heard enough, Charles. We're not leaving, so it looks like we're going to settle an age-old fight right here."
Alexia fires a Gatling at Charles.
Dragoshi: "..." *Chuckles as Charles as laughing.*
Douglas: "...DEATH. HE'S HERE. THAT SOUL YOU WANTED. RIGHT HERE. COME GET HIM ALREADY."
Maester Magellean: "I'm finally out of your hair, and you still see me as the bad guy!?"
Ivo Robotnik: "..." *He looks to see if the portal back is open or not.*
Locos Docos (GM): He splits into two-after images going left and right. They vanish...
Dragoshi: "..." *Looks at Ivo...*
Locos Docos (GM): ...He appears behind the Questers.
Alexia whirls around and fires again.
Dragoshi: *Spins around.*
King Demon spins around.
Ivo Robotnik: *Already turned around.* "Hey! I'm trying to look back here." *He idly makes motions as if he was trying to move Charles away ala a curtain.*
Douglas: "Bah. Maybe we need a Sender."
Julian: *Spins on his heels... Where's Death?*
Maester Magellean: "You want it that badly? Well... let's make sure..." *He splits into two-after images and disappears..*
Locos Docos (GM): He reappears in front of the portal.
King Demon: "..."
Maester Magellean: "That nobody else becomes involved!"
King Demon: "This guy is annoying..."
Locos Docos (GM): He bellows a laugh as he powers up a large beam in both of his hands. He fires the ray into the portal... ...And the portal explodes with the sound of glass shattering.
King Demon: "This isn't good..."
Julian: "At all..."
Dragoshi: "...Yep."
Locos Docos (GM): The pieces of the portal, for some reason, are all over the ground like shattered pieces of glass.
Douglas: "Damnit! Why didn't Death come!?"
Ivo Robotnik: "Because the portal exploded."
Douglas: "I meant BEFORE."
King Demon: "Maybe he's busy..."
Locos Docos (GM): He vanishes into two after-images and they disappear...
King Demon: "But, if death won't come here, lets take him to death!"
Locos Docos (GM): He reappears in front of Douglas, holding Douglas by one hand. He lifts him into the air.
Douglas: "Urk... Let go!"
Locos Docos (GM): Choking him.
Douglas goes wind-form.
Maester Magellean: "I've told you before, foolish Ward! Death will not come for me!"
Ivo Robotnik: *Looks to Julian.* "Should I save him, or should I look on in apathy?"
Douglas: "But he wants your soul anyway, huh!?"
Locos Docos (GM): For some reason, Douglas is unable to get away.
Julian: *shrugs.* "Save him. He's worth it now."
Locos Docos (GM): Maester throws Douglas into the ground as he splits into two after images again and they disappear. He reappears in front of the group once more.
Ivo Robotnik: "... ... ..." He shakes his head. "Why should the Eggman save a double-crossing nitwit? Oh... wait... that's why." He aims... and Maester is already gone. "Shoot. That could have been an easy shot."
Julian: "So shoot him now."
Dragoshi: *Readies his machinegun and makes sure it's at normal settings... And if anything's different about it while it was in Ivo's possession.*
Metal Man (GM): It's normal.
Maester Magellean: "A pity that all of you have forgotten what I said the last time we encountered each other. If Trevor, The Void, or any of you Questers open a portal to my dimension again, after I conquer Earth, I WOULD be invading your dimension from all sides."
Metal Man (GM): In fact, there is one just like it, but bigger, mounted on the right arm and left arm. He raises both of them and red dots appear on Maester's forehead.
Maester Magellean: "Seeing as Ivo is with you... well..."
Dragoshi: *Assists Ivo...*
Ivo Robotnik: "The Eggman Empire shall beat you to that punch!"
Maester Magellean: "I think not." *He snaps his finger.*
Locos Docos (GM): The pendant around his neck glows. The guns liquefy.
King Demon laughs a little.
Ivo Robotnik: "Neat, but I have more where that comes from."
Maester Magellean: "I'll tell you now... I'm not bluffing about coming from all sides." *He snaps his finger again.*
Ivo Robotnik: "If you are so tough, why don't you fight us?"
Maester Magellean: "I am not easily goaded into fighting like you people." *As he says this, dozens of portals appear.*
Ivo Robotnik: "Two can play at that game."
Locos Docos (GM): Thousands of pyreflies enter the region.
King Demon looks around "Uh... what's going on!?"
Locos Docos (GM): All of them materialize into things... that aren't there?
Dragoshi: "...Hmm?"
Maester Magellean: "I want to consider it...'backup' in case you are too dogged to leave."
Locos Docos (GM): He snaps his fingers... and hundreds of figures turn sideways.
Metal Man (GM): Robotnik seems to be looking for something. He's searching through some pretty old objects.
Locos Docos (GM): They're X-Nauts... but 2-dimensional!??!
Dragoshi: "...Paper X-Nauts?"
King Demon: "Oh good, fuel for my fire!"
Dragoshi: *...Might as well help Ivo with his search if necessary. >_>*
Ivo Robotnik: "You handle whatever he throws, Questers. I'm sure I can trick him into fighting us... now if only I had that... that... ..."
Maester Magellean: "Flat-Nauts."
Ivo Robotnik: "Yes... there it is." He stands fully, now. "You deal with whatever he throws around. I have... a plan."
Dragoshi: "Okay. How much time do ya need, Ivo?"
Ivo Robotnik: "All you need to do is fight everything he throws at you."
King Demon looks at Ivo "Uh... right..."
Dragoshi: "Understood."
Ivo Robotnik: "Of course, you don't have to trust me." He smiles evilly. "You never do seem to trust me..."
King Demon shrugs and gets in a fighting stance.
Dragoshi: *Looks at his machinegun, then smirks.* "Heh."
Locos Docos (GM): He sneers. He snaps his finger, the pendant glowing. The guns of Ivo un-liquefy.
Metal Man (GM): He sees them un-liquefy, and nods, strangely.
Maester Magellean: "I not need to stoop that low. Still... you people want to try to kill me? Then let's do it."
Douglas: "You want to die, I thought!"
King Demon is ready to fight.
Alexia: "Here we go!"
Julian: "Finally. Thought you'd never stop talkin' an' floppin' all over the place." *Puts up his dukes!*
Maester Magellean: "Oh..you can try to kill me, but I'm not alive!" *BELLOWS.*
Dragoshi: *Readies his machinegun! ...And, thanks to Charles' yapping the pre-battle buff Dragoshi put on himself prolly' wore off by now, huh?*
Metal Man (GM): *Yes, that's talking for you :p*
Locos Docos (GM): He snaps his finger... Grodus appears?
Maester Magellean: "Lieutenant Grodus, see to it that Ivo is entertained."
FlatGrodus: "As you command." He begins firing spells at Ivo.
Maester Magellean: "Now... it begins."
Ivo Robotnik: "A real fight, then? I guess you Questers shall have to finish him yourself!" *He fights, firing at FlatGrodus... though he seems to be having something up his sleeve.*
Julian: *Julian smirks.* "Been waitin' a long time for this..." *Julian winds up, and goes to smack Charles right in the face with a Haymaker!*
Locos Docos (GM): Maester Magellean splits into two-after images going opposite directions. They disappear, and he reappears slightly to the left. Miss.
Maester Magellean: "When I died, I renounced much of what I held to..."
Locos Docos (GM): After-image after after-image after after-image... they all miss.
Julian: *Son of a bitch, he's got 40 AC.*
Dragoshi: *Anyway, Drag tries to call forth something, and that something is...* *Instead of throwing scythes, Dragoshi aims his machinegun at Maester Magellean and fires out... Energy-scythe like shots at 'im.*
Locos Docos (GM): He splits into two images... by either good judgment or pure luck, the second connects majorly.
Dragoshi: *Quickly switches out his machinegun for his scythe... He charges up for a little bit, then attempts to strike Mr. Magellean down with a charged flip kick, followed up by a regular one.*
King Demon uses two ground fires.
Locos Docos (GM): Miss, miss.
Alexia flings two Mindblasts at Charles.
Locos Docos (GM): He merely sneezes and the blasts go off course. Both miss.
Maester Magellean: "I'm at a loss... what oh what should I do?" *He lifts his legs off the ground, sitting in mid-air. He puts his left hand into a fist and places it under his chin.* "Do you have any feasible suggestions, Questers?"
King Demon: "You could give up..."
Maester Magellean: "We *could.* call the battle to a premature end... call it a no contest. Part ways?"
Alexia: "Not after all the destruction you've caused."
Dragoshi: "Sadly, things are never really that easy, considering..." *Taps foot, thinking...*
Maester Magellean: "We end this the hard way? Fine. We'll do it your way, as usual."
Locos Docos (GM): He floats down to the ground. He lets out a very low chuckle.
Maester Magellean: "Oh... I know. I'll use a black magic spell."
Alexia: "Let me guess. Flaraja?"
Maester Magellean: "There is no such thing."
Dragoshi: .oO(...HellFire?)
Maester Magellean: "Since I've become of this state, I can actually cast two versions of it. Which one do you want me to cast: the crude, primitive version of it... or the advanced version?" *He smirks.* "I'll choose for you, then..." *He rises up.* "I'll not be cruel and I'll only cast it at only one person."
Locos Docos (GM): He lifts his left index finger. He begins to form a ball of green energy on top of it.
Maester Magellean: "Julian... this is your favorite spell. I know that Kuja loved to use it on you. It's the crude... primitive form of... ULTIMA! But who to choose... let's ask the spell!"
Locos Docos (GM): He's... most definitely lost any rationality that was in him. The tiny ball of condensed energy sits there. He moves away slightly from it as it chooses it's target in accordance to the turns..
Julian: *Goddammit.*
Locos Docos (GM): The small Ultima spell flies directly into Julian!! **BOOOOOOOMMMM** It leaves a small crater with Julian in it.
Julian: *KO!!*
Maester Magellean: "...Ah yes."
Locos Docos (GM): He descends downward... approaching Dragoshi.
Dragoshi: *Hoo boy.*
Maester Magellean: "No hard feelings, but I *really* want you people to stay out of my dimension, like I stay out of yours."
Dragoshi: "No offense, but... I don't think the others shall just stand back and let a race get slaughtered into extinction. ...Then again, what do I know?" :/
Maester Magellean: "Well... this is for hitting me. You may feel extreme queasiness."
Dragoshi: "...Okay."
Locos Docos (GM): Maester proceeds to throw a hard and fast punch to Dragoshi's gut area. No crit for him.
Dragoshi: *Punched rather hard... But, he still has quite a bit of fight left in him.* >_>
Locos Docos (GM): He proceeds to King..
Maester Magellean: "One of the original Five. You really shouldn't have come here."
King Demon: "I'm just along for the ride!"
Maester Magellean: "Again, no hard feelings, but you people *really* had no business being here."
Metal Man (GM): Ivo would help the Questers more, but Flat Grodus appears to be his equal in this realm.
Locos Docos (GM): He lowers his arm and delivers a punch gut to King, and hits. He backs away a bit.
Maester Magellean: *Inhales deeply... and breaths out very cooolld air at both Dragoshi and King.*
King Demon: *Frozed?*
Locos Docos (GM): Both are frozen.
Julian: *Julian's back on his feet, holding his head.* "Ow..."
Dragoshi: *Can't do anything as he's frozen...*
King Demon can't move.
Maester Magellean: "I have wasted far too much time already on you people. Since I've destroyed the portal that would lead from your dimension to here, I'll simply create a temporary one just for you."
Locos Docos (GM): His pendant glows. It fires a beam that creates a vortex that... for some reason, is pulling the Questers all in!
King Demon is frozen and cannot move.
Maester Magellean: "Leave as soon as you can... and please! Do hit your head on the way out."
Locos Docos (GM): The vortex is pulling the Questers in via a vaccum. First, it pulls in the frozens, King and Dragoshi. Next, it pulls in Hop, no, Hop's hat, no, a blade of grass >_< (sheesh) that has been pricking his finger on one of the shattered portal pieces. Finally, the vortex actively begins seeking out Julian.
Locos Docos (GM): It sucks in Julian as well.
Julian: *Whatever.*
Locos Docos (GM): Magellean then marches to the battlefield of Grodus and Robotnik.
FlatGrodus: "Surrender, you fool. I have predicted your defeat."
Ivo Robotnik: "Aha! But... I have THIS!"
Metal Man (GM): He takes out... a big chunk of magitek.
FlatGrodus: "Sir, that is highly dangerous. You should warp him out before it raises the Solarians you killed from the dead."
Ivo Robotnik: "I don't know... maybe the poetic revenge would be funny." *He brandishes it at Charles.*
Maester Magellean: "...As much as I would give another speech to you, Ivo, about how I would trap you here in suspended animation, you are not welcome here any more than I am welcome in your dimension."
Ivo Robotnik: "Technically I'm not welcome anywhere." He chuckles. "But I could make a deal with you. Since I know how to keep the Questers away better than you do. The portal was a fluke, as you might have predicted, sir paper-cut."
Metal Man (GM): He pats Flat Grodus on the head.
Ivo Robotnik: "But if I set my machine to block them... they wouldn't happen ever again."
Maester Magellean: "You would be doing us both a favor to each other by doing so. My true goals are here on this world, not in whatever place you are."
Ivo Robotnik: "Very well. All I ask in return..." He holds out Glyph's hat... "Is a copy of this. You have the power, in this world, I know it. It's a cube with magic energy. I can't take it, the person who made it would alert the Questers."
Locos Docos (GM): He snaps his fingers... a portal materializes.
Maester Magellean: "Whatever desires you have are not shared with me. In the beginning of my existence which is not that of a mortal being, I have made the vow to only rely on myself and the powers given to me."
Ivo Robotnik: "Very well then... you shall have to master the ancient technique of portal blocking." He nods sagely and walks out the portal.
Maester Magellean: "No one can be trusted but ourselves..."
Locos Docos (GM): His pendant glows... and pyreflies begin to congregate. The pyreflies manifest into a man wielding a sword... but not just a sword... the Master Sword.
Maester Magellean: "Ganondorf, wielder of the Master Sword. You are to take the place of Cream the Rabbit. Always follow the Questers invisibly... undetected. But this time... destroy the portals whenever you sense that it comes to here."
Ganondorf: *He stands there, holding the sword.* "As you wish... any other orders?"
Maester Magellean: "Should they insist on coming back here through that portal... exterminate with extreme prejudice. A repeat of this fiasco must be avoided... in case more of them come."
Ganondorf: "I shall do as you say. However, I fear they may break through... we must be careful. It shall not happen as long as I live, however."
Maester Magellean: "You being fearful? Then take 20 of the strongest of your armies."
Ganondorf: "That shall suffice." He nods and vanishes with many other pyreflies into the portal.
Locos Docos (GM): The ground tremors have stopped. Maester closes the portal and looks to the northern outskirts. There... standing over several miles tall... The Tower of Babel.
Maester Magellean: "Simply... magnificent."
Metal Man (GM): Back at Eggman's Cannon... everyone reappears on the other side, the final portal closed. Including Glyph.
Dragoshi: *Prolly' un-melted by now. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): No more ice. Metal Man is there. He seems to be rather... angry at the portal.
Metal Man: "Hrmph. Had he not blocked that portal... I woulda..." He trails off into angry words one probably wouldn't want to hear.
Ivo Robotnik: "The portals are gone; you may leave."
Metal Man (GM): Mission completed.
Glyph: [Hop] "I don't want to go to a place like that ever again... Even if it was just for a second... Even, even the things Leviathan does aren't like that."
Metal Man: "That's what Kuja does, you see..."
King Demon leans against the wall once again.
Metal Man: "Not the same, exactly. He's more subtle, but many good people died in his wake."
King Demon: "Man, That guy has a high defense!"
Glyph: [Hop] "I don't... want to go with you guys anymore. Not to places if there's a chance it'll be like here."
King Demon: "Most of the places we go aren't like that."
Glyph: [Hop] "Whoever has the hat can keep it... I won't need it."
Ivo Robotnik: "...Ah, but that would be rude of me."
Metal Man (GM): He takes it out.
Ivo Robotnik: "What is wrong with it, if I may ask?"
Metal Man: "You guys don't have to go back there, though..."
Glyph: [Hop] "I don't need it to go places, because I don't want to end up someplace bad."
Metal Man looks down. "This is my fault. He's only alive because of the Quester energies."
Glyph: [Hop] "Even if I can't be hurt when I use the hologram, I might see... something like that."
Metal Man: "I think I found something to do while you guys are busy." *takes out his old axe.* "I must kill my old friend, for what he's become."
Dragoshi: "...I see."
Metal Man: "I alone probably can face him... I've been learning everything I see from you guys, I just don't use it to fight 'cause that'd wear my old bones out."
King Demon: "You mean Charlie?"
Metal Man: "I have at least seven generations of experience."
Dragoshi: "...If you ever need some assistance, I'll try and help." >_>;;
Metal Man: "I must do this alone... it is not in your realm of experience. Just as I do not do your missions, because it is not in my realm of experience."
King Demon: "If you wish to do it alone..."
Ivo Robotnik: "I'm just fine, myself. He's sealed himself alone, and I got this neat toy!"
Dragoshi: "...I see. I shall at least make sure no one interferes, then."
Ivo Robotnik: "Here, have a machinegun. It's on the house."
Metal Man (GM): He gives Hop a Vendetta machinegun.
Douglas: "Yeah... and be sure to kill him! Death still wants his soul... I think."
Glyph: [Hop] "Thank you sir."
Ivo Robotnik: "If you see something horrible like that, that can kill it dead."
Glyph: *Hop picks up the Vendetta.*
Ivo Robotnik: "Had I been more vehement, I'd have used it... he melted it because he knew its power."
King Demon: "..."
Julian: *Out.*
King Demon enters as well.
Dragoshi: *Enters as well...*
Glyph: *Hop stops for a moment before stepping through the portal.*
Ivo Robotnik: "...?"
