Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 384: Nintendus Shopping 2007
Date: July 6th, 2007.
Trivia: Sable is played by Blade. Confusingly, Blade ALSO appears in this log. Even more confusingly, Sable appears to be some weird mishmash of Wolfman and Metal Man, appearance/technology wise. Yeah.
Metal Man (GM): Metal sits in his chair. He's changed the room around a bit; behind him, you see the sky. It looks almost red.
Wolfman is in the Big Room, looking... well, he's a reploid: he usually looks the same!
Metal Man: "I... can't believe it. Look... what is happening."
Metal Man shows an image of Genetia; it is disintegrating.
Wolfman: "...you painted the room?"
Dragoshi: *Is in the Big Room as well, looking behind Metal.* "...Huh."
Alexia comes in sleepily and looks out at the sky.
Wolfman looks at the new picture...
Alexia: "...Oh, man, did I oversleep?"
Metal Man: "Oh. Yes, I painted the room. To match the sky. It appears all of the outer universe is... being blown apart. Genetia's last message came in. It was George Robotnik."
Aaron comes in from the gym.
Wolfman: "...in other words, we're running out of time."
Dragoshi: "That sounds like the case."
Metal Man (GM): The screen shows the town hall of Genetia on screen.
George Robotnik: "It is strange... but the entire world is gone now. This town hall is all that is left. I have heard from others than even our existence here... was an illusion. If that is true... please end this illusion, so that the real world can exist once again. For Genetia, there was no mercy." It cuts out.
Metal Man: "Nothing we could do. Had to fly the Kuja ship at top speed just to avoid being pulled in."
Alexia: "...I can't believe it..."
Metal Man: "Even then... weirder things are happening. The magitek aboard is vanishing, one component at a time. Had those aliens not retrofitted it, it'd have simply crashed."
Wolfman: "Garrick isn't going to be happy about that."
Dragoshi: "Good thing they retrofitted it, then..."
Sable: *While listening, she looks at Wolfman and quirks an eyebrow. She'll save her question for later...*
Blade: "Disappearing magitek? That's... odd."
Metal Man: "Of course. Those aliens are gone too."
Alexia: "Looks like there's not any time to waste, then."
Metal Man: "Not exactly. Magitek was and is fake."
Dragoshi: "Well, apparently, the Magitek's fa-Yea. That."
Metal Man: "It, like Genetia, simply vanished. The Void's calling in all his assets for something big."
Wolfman: "Either way... we should arm ourselves for this. But... no artifacts this time."
Metal Man: "...So... naturally... Dave offers us a once-in-a-lifetime sale: everything must go, apparently, so he's selling weapon repairs at prices even we can afford."
Aaron: "Me need get money from bank."
Metal Man: "There is no bank."
Aaron: "What happen?"
Metal Man: "It was retroactively erased by Garrick's actions... whatever money you put in there is in your pockets."
Wolfman: "Long story."
Metal Man: "I believe that was another of The Void's machinations. For had Julian all that money, he could have probably bought something or... ...too late to think about that."
Alexia taps Dragoshi on the shoulder.
Dragoshi: *Looks at Alexia.* "Hmm?"
Wolfman: "Let's not worry about that for now."
Alexia: "Do you mind if I borrow some money? I'm a little tapped out."
Wolfman: "Metal, prepare to tap into the Stadium Treasury. I have a feeling we're all going to need it."
Dragoshi: "...Sure. How much?"
Metal Man: "Ha... ha. Not much there, Wolf."
Wolfman: "...what do you mean, not much?"
Darkdata: "Sorry I am late."
Wolfman: "Don't tell me you guys haven't been having that many matches since I left and came back!"
Metal Man: "The money stopped coming in to us the minute this mess occurred. Ivan said it was because his own city needed protection. Matches? The Smashers scattered quite a while ago."
Wolfman: "... and the QUESTERS haven't been providing entertainment either?"
Metal Man: "None at all. Although we don't really have time to fix that..."
Alexia: "...I'm not really sure yet. I'll ask again when we get to Dave's."
Aaron: "Me bouncer when not here."
Wolfman: "...if we somehow survive this, we need to get this place up and running again."
Blade: "...I've been sleeping in the stadium. It's the only safe place that's big enough for me."
Sable: "...after this upgrade, I hope there's more cash involved. Otherwise, I need to find a new line of work. Perhaps I could build some sort of death clock..."
Metal Man: "I'm not sure what we'd do, Wolfman." *He looks around.* "This place is very old, and the fighters are rather scattered."
Wolfman: "...then I'll worry about that later."
Dragoshi: "...A death clock? Of all the inane..."
Wolfman turns to Sable "...no death clocks. I'd like to wake up to a peaceful alarm, thank you."
Metal Man flips on the warp. "There is little time left to discuss such things. Our plan is to arm up, find this tower, do what is necessary, and stop this before the rest of the universe is destroyed."
Wolfman: "Not sleep forever. Questers, roll out!"
Wolfman charges in.
Aaron walks through.
Sable: "No, I meant a clock that told you when you were going to die." She shrugs and walks in.
Dragoshi: *Walks on in to the portal.*
Blade shrugs and follows.
Alexia heads into the portal, still wearing the singed hide. Apparently she's not letting go of that thing.
Metal Man walks in as well. "I might as well be ready for Doomsday."
Metal Man (GM): The group warps to... Dave's store.
Wolfman: *impersonates HAL's voice.* "Hello, Dave."
Metal Man (GM): Dave seems... strangely happy. Everyone else in Port Destiny is running around screaming, while he has all his goods out for sale.
Dave: "Ahhh. Nothing like paranoia in the morning."
Dragoshi: "So, how about that end of the world sale?"
Dave: "Oh, of course!" The man, who is more like a single red eye under a black cloak, points at the sign above him which has that written. His sleeved arms move like snakes. "90% off of everything. Especially artifacts, now that I hear The Void wants them. I don't want him to knock me down for some silly sword."
Wolfman: "I think just a simple upgrade will work just fine for me."
Dave: "Unfortunately, I sold most of my artifacts, so I can only offer you upgrades to your weapons. So... what do you people have to offer me for items, coinage, dinero, and what do you want me to do with it?"
Wolfman quick draws his claws out.
Dave: "It's a limited time offer--I can tell this is gonna be real this time, unlike the other 10 times."
Aaron: "Club need work, me have money."
Wolfman: "Two frontal claws here."
Dave: "How much? I can't quite tell what's normal anymore, what with Mack's business moving out of town."
Wolfman: "...Mack has left?"
Dave: "All the coins fluctuate wildly."
Wolfman: "I presently have 3K coins... but Metal might be willing to help me a little bit."
Dave: "He said he was gonna escape this disaster or something. Probably with a space ship."
Wolfman: "The majority of my Toad Town Taxi money was already spent."
Darkdata: "Do you take mushrooms that are 99.59% caffeine? And what is the exchange rate?"
Metal Man takes out a gold-lined checkbook. "Oh, right. Well, I don't have much money myself."
Metal Man fumbles in another pocket. "Hm... should I use the gold or platinum pen today?"
Blade draws his greatsword and lays it on the counter. "I would like a replacement or reforging for this blade."
Dave: "Mushrooms made of caffeine? I do see a market... er. I'd pay 1000 a piece for such."
Sable: "...I say you should give me both the gold and platinum pens..."
Dave: "Hm... I'll get to that immediately, person... how much money do you have?"
Darkdata: "Not worth it."
Metal Man: "Give them? Good gracious, no. Questers break everything I give them."
Darkdata: "Transcending and walking though walls make it worth so much more."
Metal Man: "Even Chaos Emeralds."
Wolfman: "...I'll wait in line actually. Wherever it is." *goes more towards the black, closer to Sable, fellow reploid.*
Blade: "I can spend up to forty-thousand coins... but I won't go higher than fifteen thousand on this one purchase."
Metal Man writes out a check and hands it to Dave. It has a 10-digit number on it.
Metal Man: "This should pay for everyone. Oh. And I need the best gun you have. Ever."
Dave: "Where did you get this kind of money? I mean, you don't look..."
Wolfman: .oO(...Metal, I seriously doubt you had THAT much.)
Dragoshi: "...He prolly has his ways."
Metal Man takes out his ID. "Ivan paid me quite a bit until this happens. Now I don't think he'll pay me again..."
Sable looks over to the wolf. "...you look like a critter from my world who got into the nanovat and nanoforged his own set of armor. What are you?"
Metal Man: "So I need myself enough firepower to get myself a better contract."
Dave: "Right, right..."
Wolfman: "...most likely, I was from your world. Did you have to fight Mavericks or Maverick Hunters?"
Dave: "I'll deal with your thing last, since I don't want anyone to accidentally steal this." He pockets the check, and looks at the sword. "I shall do everything I can for this."
Metal Man (GM): He walks in, then walks out.
Metal Man (GM): The sword shines brightly and has gems in it.
Wolfman awaits Sable's response.
Dave: "Now. Who is next?"
Alexia: "Anybody mind if I go next?"
Wolfman doesn't mind...
Dragoshi: "Eh. I don't mind."
Blade: "I have another purchase... two more. 10,000 for a staff enchantment and 15,000 for a draconic natural weapon augmentation."
Dave: "They'll cut the power sooner or later at this rate... it seems like I may have to bribe Ivan with this check just to prevent him from evacuating the city. Ah, but your money is unneded." He sweeps his hand a bit. "For your boss just paid enough money for me to live off of long after the world ends."
Metal Man: "I caution you, the coin has inflated out of control, Dave."
Blade nods in thanks to Metal, as he produces his mage form staff.
Dragoshi: "Like an insane balloon?"
Dave: "Yes, yes, whatever." He does some more forging and enchanting on the staff and draconic weapon stuff. "Okay... who's next? Is it you, er, Alexia?"
Alexia: "Yes, sir."
Alexia heads forward and places her Lighttech pistol on the counter.
Dave: "Ah, a relic from a while ago... not that old, but not that great, I assume?"
Aaron: "When it my turn?"
Wolfman: "After Alexia is done."
Alexia: "Er... is there any way to augment this, too?"
Alexia motions to the Wolfos skin she's wearing.
Sable: "...actually, you hit the button on the nose. With the advent of nanotechnology, and nano A.I, we're encountering these robots that call themselves 'Mavericks'. In fact, that's why the Bounty Hunter's Association -- which I'm a part of -- was formed..."
Dave: "...That's a burnt fur. I only work with weapons, and the armorsmith skipped town..."
Wolfman: "...you came from a different alternate future from me."
Dave: "Now..." He takes it and puts a bunch of accessories on the gun. A scope, a silencer, and also a weird barrel too...
Sable: "You still look like a dog who nanoforged himself some armor..."
Wolfman: "The enemies were Mavericks, but those that hunted them were Maverick Hunters. I originally stood on two legs. However, during my last visit to my old realm... well, I was captured by my former allies, and turned into this."
Alexia: "Thank you." *takes the pistol back.*
Sable: "Anyone going next?" She carefully dismounts her right-arm's buster cannon, and grabs her energy sword hilt.
Dave: "That pistol is illegal nearly everywhere, but..." *He points at Aaron.* "He goes next. 'Cause Orcs are angry. Although I still have my dimensional disintegrater on me."
Aaron grabs his bag of money and his club.
Dave: "Hm... a club... that will be difficult."
Wolfman: "Just in case you were wondering... I have been on both sides of the conflict, Sable-. I never really enjoyed being on either side. My times as a Maverick were mostly due to a brainwashing."
Dave: "...And you wish to pay anyway?"
Aaron: "Me want you to make club better and make me pair of gloves."
Aaron hands Dave the money. "Me not know how much me has."
Dave: "Uh... more than enough to make a new weapon..."
Sable: "Hmmm. Well, where I come from, Mavericks were only just starting to become a problem... apparrantly, there was a scientist that bred the AI to go rogue. But that's speculation."
Metal Man (GM): He takes the club and marks some runes in it, puts some spikes on it, and then says something at it. It is now constantly on fire (except for the handle.)
Wolfman: "Then you've missed some... interesting fights."
Dragoshi: "...Nice club." *blink.*
Wolfman: "As far as the scientist situation... well, I do believe it's true."
Dave: "A guy named Mack made this club's opposite, but I am a much better smith than him."
Metal Man (GM): Dave then fashions some gloves. They glow an eerie black and blue.
Sable: "I just hope I can get home before Sigma trashes the place... I was flying through space to get to my next mark -- him -- before a wormhole appeared before me and my ship. Couldn't avoid it, and BAM! my gunship crashed somewhere on the planet this ship came from..."
Wolfman: "...if we did come from the same realm, then Sigma is dead."
Alexia: "...Oh, man, I forgot something."
Wolfman: "Otherwise, trust your fellow Hunters."
Alexia takes Darkman's chain from her belt.
Sable: "...I don't know, my suit and augments are pretty much prototypes..."
Alexia: "I was gonna have Dave look at this."
Metal Man (GM): Dave takes 150,000 coins and gives the rest back to Aaron.
Wolfman: "Dragoshi, you go ahead."
Sable: "May I?"
Dragoshi: "Sure. I can wait for the others to get their upgrades done, anyway."
Metal Man (GM): Dave waits for another weapon to be shown to him.
Darkdata shows dave his harp.
Wolfman: "...alright Sable: we can talk more later."
Sable: "Alright." She puts down her energy sword and the bracer which contains the buster cannon.
Darkdata: "Oh, go ahead Sable, *takes back his harp.*.
Sable: "And... I don't know if you're the guy to talk to, but my buster cannon has a shield function which can also be used as a weapon; can you modify the shield as well?"
Dave: "I'll see what I can do."
Metal Man (GM): He gets a screwdriver and fixes them up.
Alexia: "Hey, um, would you mind taking a look at this?"
Alexia places the chain onto the counter.
Metal Man (GM): He takes that and fixes up the dents and dings on it.
Darkdata: "may I go next?"
Wolfman: "No objections."
Dragoshi: "No objections from me, either."
Darkdata shows Dave his harp, and as a afterthought that Greylokian Battle Brella.
Metal Man (GM): He looks at the umbrella oddly.
Dave: "This is a mere item. It wouldn't survive more than one use."
Darkdata: "The harp or the brella?"
Metal Man (GM): He then turns to the harp, and upgrades it.
Darkdata: "Hmm, Nice work..." .oO(A spell of mine is now useless. :D) "Is it possible to get the harp to be able to store a spell?"
King Demon walks into... wherever everyone else is.
Darkdata: "Sound reverberations can be trapped withing magical items, however it is rare to see such a thing, is it possible for you to do?"
Dave: "Not exactly, no... it's already jam-packed."
Sable closes the larger bracer which houses her buster cannon over her arm and lights up her sword for a few moments. With a smile, she extinguishes her sword and lets it clip to her hip magnetically.
Darkdata: "Hmm, too bad, thank you."
Darkdata steps down. "Who is next?"
King Demon looks at Dave curiously.
Wolfman: "Demon, go ahead."
King Demon: "You have any swords? Or at least an upgrade to the one I have?"
King Demon holds out his normal sword... he forgot if was still broken or not though!
Dave: "Eh... not many..." He looks at the busted sword Demon presents him. "I can fix that."
King Demon: "I'd appreciate it. Any way to upgrade it while you're at it?"
Sable: "Hey, tin can, will we get a chance to search for the Starbird?"
Alexia: *without turning around.* "Don't call him that."
Sable: "That's the name of my gunboat. One of the quickest vessels in the navy she was, and she could lay waste to a whole legion of fighters. Too bad she had trouble against heavier ships like frigates and destroyers."
Metal Man: "Sounds like more of the Void's illusions to me." *chuckles.*
Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, Dave fixes the sword...
Wolfman: "...you came into this realm at a VERY bad time Sable. Right now, we're preparing to fight a creature called 'The Void' to hopefully save the world from this illusion of a place before we all become... nothing."
Dragoshi: "...Well, if no one else has anything they currently need to upgrade, mind if I go next? Or doesn't mind. Either or." :/
Wolfman: "I have stuff to upgrade, but go ahead. I'll need some time, though..."
Wolfman turns to Sable. "It's been awhile since I've last been able to take off my own helmet... but for one of the upgrades I want done, it will need to be taken care of. Do you think you can assist?"
Dave: "Either way, just show me what you need upgraded..."
King Demon looks at the sword "Thanks!"
Sable: "I can try, if it works like my own nanoforged helm..." She bends down and gives it a once-over. "What's in your helmet?"
King Demon steps back away from Dave.
Wolfman: "Mostly circuitry that should look familiar to you. Just... be careful with the insides."
Sable: "Do you have a weapon in here?"
Wolfman: "On the forehead part on the outside, is where my buster is located."
King Demon wanders off somewhere to practice with his new sword... hope it doesn't break right away this time!
Wolfman: "It is safe to remove the helmet: the buster won't fire unless I will it."
Dragoshi: "'Kay." *Nods, then walks up to Dave, and shows him his sword and scythe.* "Well, these would need to be upgraded... And, seeing as you can also make weapons... Would you mind making a second sword and a tactical machine pistol as well? Or, would those two cost extra?"
Dave: "You want a lot of weapons, but I don't have that kind of raw material."
Dragoshi: "I see."
Dave: "I really don't have much left. Had you been earlier, maybe..."
Dragoshi: "Then, just forgo the last two, and upgrade my sword and scythe, then."
Sable: "You have a *buster.* in your helmet?" She tilts her head. "That's an odd place for one... mine's in my bracer."
Wolfman: "Well, I do use all fours. It's not a powerful one though: no charging and very limited rapid fire. ...but do hurry and remove it before all of the upgrades go away please."
Metal Man (GM): He updates them...
Sable pulls off his helmet, before turning and waiting for Wolf's turn at the upgrade.
Wolfman feels... well, it's been awhile since his helmet came off. "...I need to get used to this again."
Sable: "...are you an *actual.* robot?"
Wolfman: "Reploid... but yes."
Dragoshi: *After taking said upgraded weapons..* "Thank you." *Walks back over to the others.*
Wolfman: "It is my turn now Sable."
Wolfman walks up to Dave. He quick draws his claws, and then forces them out of his metallic paws. Sable would be bringing the helmet over at this time. "I'll mention it in order of priority in case there is not enough time or material. 1. The claws. Nothing fancy needs to be done... just a little stronger will do.
Metal Man (GM): He upgrades the claws.
Sable puts his helmet which contains his buster on the counter.
Wolfman: "2. My helmet has a weapon at the forehead, that can fire a projectile weapon. I'm unsure if you can work with it."
Sable: "It's a buster cannon similar to mine, but smaller and without the charge or shield matrix.
Wolfman: "3. Also on the helmet... there is a minor regenerating capability to it. Its output is low. Is it possible to fix that up?"
Dave: "Not much I can do about that helmet thing. It looks all weird to me."
Wolfman: "...I understand. You have done plenty for the others, and for that, I thank you Dave."
Wolfman puts his new claws in... they work good as new. "Sable, could you please re-attach my helmet?"
Sable nods and reattaches his helmet.
Wolfman: *hiss.* "...that feels better."
Wolfman gets to the back of the line, but moves slowly... his head and helmet down a little.
Sable: "...reploid... I've heard of the idea before; a human-simulating android that's so perfect it's nearly indistinguishable from the real thing.
Glyph enters the scene. "What are we doing now?
Wolfman: "It's been awhile since I've felt this type of sadness. However... the fact that I've felt it... in the end, I believe it's a good thing. You are... more of a human than reploid, aren't you?"
Dave: "Er... I am upgrading weapons. For you... well. Maybe not you." He pokes Glyph. "Unless... you have some weapons for me?"
Glyph: "Let's see... I believe I have a Vendetta somewhere..."
Glyph rummages through his tattered coat with pockets that hold more than they logically could. "Er... seemed to have misplaced it."
Sable: "Right. I'm a nanocybernetically augmented human inside a nanoforged power suit of armor... .and yes, that is my real hair."
Glyph: "Sounds like common fare to me."
Glyph: "Does anyone need a weapon downgrade? Hop is pretty good at that sort of thing."
Wolfman: "I didn't get a good look at the outside of my helmet for quite some time... was there hair on it, even if it's not real?"
Sable: "A little, I think..."
King Demon: "Tell me about it!" *holds up his tinfoil sword.* "Hey Dave, when you get a minute, you want to take a look at this please?"
Wolfman smiles. "Good to see that not everything has changed about me."
Wolfman gets into a relaxing, sitting style pose... or as close to one can get being a 4 legger. "...this is probably one of the last moments you will get to relax Sable: I suggest enjoying it."
King Demon leans next to wolf "Actually, I'm not sure you've changed much at all."
Wolfman: "Demon, I was a leader when you first met me. Now, I've become a slightly ineffective fighter. I just happen to bring wit."
Aaron: "Me want try club. You have stuff I can use?"
King Demon: "True, but you've managed to maintain your personality, isn't that all that really counts?"
Wolfman: "You have no idea how much my personality has changed Demon. ...though right now, it is similar."
Dave: "I can't work with... tin foil! Are you nuts? It'll bend. And stuff."
King Demon: "Hmmm..."
Glyph points to the wires running down it.
King Demon looks at everyone else in the area "Tell you what though, seeing all this, it kinda makes me feel old!"
Glyph: "It's pretty much an accuracy modifier with no sword to improve."
Wolfman: "YOU, old? ...how old are you Demon?"
Sable stretches a bit.
King Demon thinks for a second. "Honestly, I lost count long ago."
Glyph: "Seriously. Put that panelly thing on real sword. It'll work great. It still obviously won't be quite as sharp with panels running down it, but..."
Wolfman: "...then perhaps you are older than me."
King Demon laughs a little.
Wolfman: "...do you need to sit down Sable?"
King Demon: "Perhaps... I don't have a computer for a brain, though, so you have one on me there!"
Wolfman: "Demon, you know that my 'computer for a brain' has bad intelligence and memory chips."
King Demon: "Ah, yes, it does, doesn't it... You should get it looked at sometime!"
Wolfman: "All the time. Don't think I haven't tried."
King Demon: "Oh well, our faults make us who we are as much as our strengths, don't they?"
Glyph finally finds his Vendetta somewhere in his Hop-tech coat. "Here we go." He holds it up.
Aaron searches for a practice facility.
Dave: "Even if I knew how to improve that... it's not likely to work well against The Void."
Metal Man (GM): Aaron sees lots of debris around the place. Can't miss the practice area.
Aaron grabs a bunch of it, goes outside and starts hacking away with his new club.
Glyph: "Huh. Figures that the only good weapon I have is made of Gerald magic."
Metal Man then walks over to Dave. "So then... what's left of those coins I gave you?"
Dave: "Ah, not much, but I have this left over."
Metal Man (GM): He gives Metal a weird blade tied to a cheap-looking cable. The blade looks like the end of a helicopter blade, sharpened.
Glyph: "Let's hook it up to the Tinfoil Sword!"
Metal Man: "...I guess they spent all the money. I'll make do with this, though..."
Wolfman: "...no Glyph."
King Demon: "Can't hurt it, can it?"
Wolfman: "...we weren't THAT expensive, were we Metal?"
Metal Man: "I would, except I have a use for this... somehow. Dave's prices are... very high, even with the discount."
Glyph: "It'd make it so ridiculously accurate... it could... cut through time. Aw."
Dragoshi: "...Oh. That makes a lot of sense, then."
Dragoshi: "Cut through time?"
Glyph: "Probably. Hey Dave, can you enhance something that's not there?"
King Demon: "Well, accuracy isn't the problem with this sword, the lack of damage is!"
Glyph: "So instead of a weapon, I can just have a weapon enhancement?"
Dragoshi: "What if that was used on an enemy? What then? Would it send the enemy to a point in time that it got hit with something then send it back to the time it was fighting the person that hit it with the time-cutting sword?
King Demon: "... what?"
Glyph: "Actually, that's brilliant. Metal, please ignore the consequences of such an action and let me make the Tinfoil Sword do that. Please please please."
Wolfman: "...Glyph, you are too hyperactive here."
King Demon: "Uh, Glyph, the Tinfoil sword IS mine, you know..."
Glyph: "I'll give it back when I'm finiiiiished." *Whines.*
King Demon: "Yeah, I'm just scared of the condition it'll be in!"
Glyph: "Ppsh. I'll fill it with Null so it exists outside of conditions."
King Demon: "!?"
Wolfman: "Weapons are not programming languages! Don't you C?"
Metal Man: "No. I am a weaponsmith of sorts myself, and have a use for this."
Glyph: "Eh? I meant, the Tinfoil Sword. The one that's King Demon's."
Metal Man looks at the old DVD launcher. "Yes... a big use... even more so than firing Gigli DVDs at my foes...
Glyph: "I can probably... do that without... the... what?"
Dragoshi: "...Those exist?"
Glyph: "It would probably break time a little, but time is a good sport. She won't mind."
Wolfman just... "Metal, clarification. Is Glyph considered to be a Quester?"
Glyph: "Demon! Gimme your Tinfoil Sword. You don't like it. Let me have it back and fill it with my Sardis Mongul knowledge."
King Demon: "I... WHAT?"
Wolfman: "...Glyph, no."
Glyph: "Come ooooooooooooon."
Dahl: *wanders on in and blinks.* <.< >.>
Wolfman: "...you are late Dahl."
Sable: "...so, I have an itch to try out my new gear -- how about we fire up that stadium thing?
Dragoshi: "I doubt we have time for that."
Glyph tries continually whinier variations for "Come on" until he gets his way.
Wolfman: "Sable, if we survive, I'll consider it."
Dahl: *streeeetches.* " I was sleeping."
Dragoshi: "'Sides, we might be able to try them out on the field, anyway."
Wolfman: "This is NOT the time to sleep."
Sable: "Why not right now? The best preparation for anything is training."
Wolfman hopes Dave is still there.
Dragoshi: "We lack the time for it."
Wolfman points Dahl to Dave: "Go to him, now."
Glyph: "Demon. Tinfoil Sword. Come ooooooon."
Dahl: *blinks and heads to Dave*
Glyph falls to his knees.
Dave: "Just show me what you've got, and I'll upgrade it."
King Demon wonders if he shouldn't give Glyph the BUSINESS end of the tin sword.
Dahl: *whips out the Fierce Deity Sword, the Glass Knife and Gilded Claws * ^^; "Umm here."
Metal Man (GM): Dave looks over them... and upgrades them.
Glyph sings a song called "Come on, give me that sword so I can make it cut through time" a capella.
King Demon: "... Does anyone know how to shut him up?"
Metal Man: "Darkdata does."
Glyph: "Well, whatever, I'll just have to improvise and remotely improve it."
Wolfman: "Darkdata, shut Glyph up please."
Glyph chants a spell trying to remember how the Tome went. "Basil, cayenne, parsley, thyme, make Demon's sword cut through time!"
Glyph makes spooky magic hands.
Wolfman wonders if Glyph needs a new intelligence chip... or whatever the human equivalent is. "Sable, think you can figure out what Glyph is doing without getting a headache?"
Dahl: *blinks.* "Wow thanks!"
Glyph: "...not it? Oh well. Anyone have some other weapon they are willing to donate to me for improvements?"
King Demon throws a rock at Glyph.
Darkdata: "Oh? Did you say anything?"
King Demon: "Improve THAT!"
Darkdata: "Who needs o be muted?"
Wolfman: "...Darkdata, shut Glyph up please!"
Glyph catches the rock and promptly begins his work on making it into a Time Stone. "Darkdata, help me out here. Turn the rock into something cool with your magic."
Dragoshi: "...Shouldn't we get going or something if no one else has anything else they need to upgrade?"
Darkdata uses his dimension ring and poofs Glyph into another dimension. He needs a nice hour time-out.
King Demon laughs a little at Glyph as he disappears.
Wolfman sees that Glyph... is no longer there. He ust sinks even lower: he's practically laying down now. "Thanks Dark... I needed that."
King Demon: "Ah... silence..."
Darkdata: "Anyway, what is next on the agenda?"
Metal Man: "More rest, then we tackle the tower."
King Demon leans back against... whatever he was leaning against.
Darkdata: "Anyway, I think glyph learned his lesson."
Darkdata brings Glyph back and watches the ring turn dull as it recharges.
Dahl: "You ... just keep that thing away from me ...ok ?"
Glyph is busy polishing his rock.
Aaron comes back in.
Wolfman: .oO(Please don't fall on my back.)
Glyph: "I'll show you. I'll show you all."
Aaron: "It nice, thank you."
Glyph: "They said I was crazy, but I'm the only one not crazy!"
Darkdata: "Don't catch a computer virus, and you will be safe."
Wolfman: "...you're crazy Glyph."
King Demon: "Did anyone bring a straitjacket?"
Darkdata takes the rock from glyph and throws it out the door.
Dahl: *just sighs.*
Darkdata relaxes by a wall.
King Demon goes back to messing with his new sword.
Dahl: *Is swinging the Fierce Deity around a little.* "...ah much better." *flourishes the sword and smirks a little.* " ...very nice."
Glyph: "Yes, yes, all going to plan! Now, Mewtwo! I shall ask Mewtwo to help me create my ultimate weapon!"
Dragoshi: "...Heh." *Pulls out his scythe and starts practicing his slashes.*
Glyph thinks something really loudly. "Hey, Mewtwo, betcha can't hit me with Psychic through this rock without breaking it. So nyeah!"
Mewtwo: *uses Psychic through the rock, doesn't break it, and slams Glyph.*
Dahl: *holds it straight out, one handed, and then slashes with it.* "Still has it nice wield .. though it cuts the air a little bit easier."
King Demon laughs at Glyph.
Glyph holds up the rock in victory. "The things I do for science!"
Wolfman: "Don't ever tempt Mewtwo, even in the open air."
King Demon: "You need to watch who you call out, little man!"
Glyph: "Fools! My rock is now charged with psychic energies! Probably!"
Dahl: *stops and sweatdrops.* "..."
King Demon: "Doesn't help if YOU'RE not psychic!"
Glyph: "Though I'm pretty sure I broke something. I feel... squishier than before."
Glyph feels his side.
King Demon: "Well, you couldn't have brain damage, you'd need a brain for that!"
Wolfman: .oO(...you are still an idiot.)
Glyph: "That shouldn't be there."
King Demon shrugs and wanders off.
Dahl: *heads outside.*
Dragoshi: *Shrugs, then follows seeing as he really has nothing better to do. :/*
Aaron finds more debris and starts hitting 'em with his club.
Dahl: *slips outside and sheaths her sword on her huge back sheath and stretches.* "Mrrr what to do what to do~"
Wolfman is sort of laying outside... back is free for whoever wants it.
Dragoshi: *Twirling his scythe around.* "Much improved..." *Gets into a relaxed stance, then puts it back into his carrying case.* "Man, that Dave sure knows his away around a weapon."
Dahl: *nods a bit.* "Sure seems to."
Darkdata: "Glyph, sorry for teleporting you, I have something to make up for it."
Glyph: "If it's edible I would sooner die."
Darkdata holds out a candy star. "Eating this will increase your brainpower enough to make anything."
Dahl: *yawns and sits down and leans back on her hands a little.*
Darkdata: "Including a timestone out of cheese."
Glyph: "Your tricks are tired and frustrating. Whatever madness you have concocted, keep it to yourself. Now, if you'll excuse me, my Mime Stone needs polishing."
Glyph continues shining the rock Demon threw at him.
