Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 412: A Fistful of WMDs

Trivia: Ol' Azure's thoughts in this log foreshadow the flaws with the Questers' 'blow everything up' mantra...
Metal Man (GM): Last time, the Questers wandered through the strange inverted realm where the good emeralds were. After a series of bizarre encounters, they obtained the Sword of Darkness, and then discovered a prophecy from the local version of VG. This prophecy warned of 'The End of the World' if the Sword of Darkness was given to this realm's version of Locos Docos.
Metal Man (GM): They made a plan, though, and wound up breaking the sword and killing Locos Docos. However somebody else had been watching them. All it took was Alexia touching an emerald to make them usable by this person... The Void.
Metal Man (GM): He grabbed them and went to destroy that world, therefore obtaining its power... but the sword was broken. He also would have used the power of that world's Locos Docos, but the Questers had killed that person. At about half-power, The Void fought the Questers.
Metal Man (GM): He outsmarted them with his strange shape and took relatively little damage, but he took too long to escape, and the Questers knocked a Good Emerald loose before he turned the others into Chaos emeralds and escaped. The Questers, forced to chase him back with their only emerald, went, after saying good-bye for the time being to Scott, who had to go to his realm to address other plans.
Metal Man (GM): And it is just now that they reappear above Genetia, with their single emerald, at the ARK's control room... Metal Man is watching the planet from above, outside one of the huge windows here. The other freedom fighters aren't nearby.
Darkdata: "Well, that did not turn out as planned."
Digifanatic: "Figures in a realm like that."
Metal Man (GM): The planet below appears... to be almost as if on fire. Big battles, explosions, and such dot its surface.
Dragoshi: "...Hm."
Digifanatic: *looks down at Genetia.* "That sickens me."
Metal Man: "Yes, well, time to give you the update."
Dragoshi: "...Well?"
Metal Man brings up a picture of several forces fighting.
Digifanatic: "Please do."
Metal Man: "...Ricky has moved to take over with what he's got. The Freedom fighters successfully revived the Seeker. In fact it is docked to the ARK. Along with that, Grodus' forces are on standby... And... a final wrinkle."
Metal Man opens up a video.
Metal Man (GM): It shows The Void appearing above the planet.
The Void: "This is just TOO easy. I'm going to wreck this place!"
Metal Man (GM): He looks down at the planet.
The Void: "...What... how can this be? It has already been destroyed? Noooooooooo!!!!!!"
Alexia: "..."
Dragoshi: "..."
The Void: "Wait... maybe Nintendus!"
Metal Man (GM): He flies towards Nintendus.
Darkdata: "..."
Metal Man (GM): A massive Kuja battleship shoots at him.
The Void: "Ow! Ow! Lasers! Gah! That burns! That wasn't there before... ...There has to be somewhere!" He flies off, in a third direction.
Dragoshi: "Heh."
Metal Man: "...It appears it is good that you knocked one emerald away, as he lacked the power to take on the Kuja ship."
Darkdata: "Yay."
Alexia: "What happened to that emerald, anyways?"
Digifanatic: *regarding the Seeker bit.* "At least the Seeker's back to shape."
Metal Man: "However he remains at large... we best not worry about that now."
Digifanatic: "Did you ever find out where Garrick is at?"
Alexia: "I sorta got fuzzy-headed after coming out of super mode..
Dragoshi: "Quite."
Metal Man: "Garrick? No. Beats me."
Dragoshi: "...How so, Alexia?"
Digifanatic: .oO(Void... just don't attack Scott's planet.)
Alexia: "I don't know. It's hard to describe..."
Metal Man: "Glyph is also... at the Seeker. Although Grodus keeps on giving him dirty looks. Anyway, I'm unsure as to what we should do next. Ricky's forces aren't gaining a hold, however they aren't going to stop either. We have several possibilities." *brings up some of them.*
Dragoshi: "And, those are?"
Digifanatic: "Alright..."
Metal Man: "The northernmost ruins on the planet appear to have been where those death-robots came from. If you could activate those, and use them for our bidding, then they could disable Ricky's forces. Iggy's bombs still work too... The Good emerald could be useful if you had the Ultimate Emerald..."
Dragoshi: "...Hmm."
Metal Man: "You could fly to Turion and look for artifacts there... Dr. Robotnik is building something..."
Digifanatic: "I'm thinking... Emerald first and then Iggy's bombs?"
Metal Man: "I've heard some rumors about Armon being alive and plotting something too... And finally, you could try to find the real Ricky and kill him... oh! And the orange X-zone might have more relics, which, technically, would be very powerful. And horribly, horribly dangerous."
Darkdata: "The Ultimate Emerald of the other world?"
Metal Man: "'Fraid we don't have any power to go there for a while."
Darkdata: "Ah..."
Metal Man: "Also, in that world, it's more like the puniest emerald."
Digifanatic: "Heh, yeah..."
Metal Man: "Some things just don't carry over."
Digifanatic: "Sounds about right."
Dragoshi: "...I say Emerald first and then Robots." :/
Darkdata: "In agreement."
Alexia: "Right behind you..."
Digifanatic: "Sure. I can go that path."
Metal Man: "Anyone else have suggestions, objections, or whatnot?"
Digifanatic: "Nah, I believe most of the bases have been covered."
Dragoshi: "Quite."
Alexia: "Well, no time to waste. Let's go."
Digifanatic: "Yeah."
Metal Man: "Okay, but... remember one thing."
Dragoshi: *Nods.* "And, that is?"
Metal Man: "The Ultimate emerald will only help you if you are balanced, or somewhat listen to it. It hasn't helped you so far, so... don't get cocky with it."
Digifanatic: "Oh, man, that again... I forgot about that."
Darkdata: *Nods.*
Digifanatic: *to Darkdata and Dragoshi.* "Okay, which of the three of us is probably the most balanced?" *since Alexia's already dealt with this.*
Julian: *No way in HELL anyone is getting Julian to go anywhere near it.*
Darkdata: "I think I might be. Or, you Digi."
Julian: "If it's anyone, it's Digi."
Dragoshi: "...Yep."
Digifanatic: "Huh, okay..."
Azure walks into the room with everyone with a brief head-nod greeting.
Metal Man: "I'd go, but... some people claim I am not very well balanced. Something about how my center of gravity is lower than most people's."
Aaron wakes up and leaves his quarters to join the team.
Darkdata: "And Bonecrusher does not even make it to the testing group. No offense, or anything."
Aaron: "Huh?"
Darkdata: "Never mind."
Digifanatic: .oO(Oh, no, not this again.)
Metal Man: "So... who're you sending?"
Julian: "Digi."
Digifanatic: "Sounds like it."
Metal Man: "The emerald might be suspicious if you only send one person."
Dragoshi: "...Apparently so. ...I could come with. I have SOME balance."
Digifanatic: "Hmm... Darkdata said he was pretty confident in his balance."
Metal Man: "I'd say three would be the minimum, but the more you have, I'd think the more it'd believe you." *points to the warp.* "Anyone may enter, of course..."
Darkdata: "Yes, when I want to be, I can be 'stable' for lack of a better word."
Metal Man: "So, when you guys think you have the right group, send 'em in."
Digifanatic: "Well, I know I'm going."
Metal Man: "Well, go ahead and go, then... and anyone else?"
Dragoshi: "Yo."
Darkdata: *Follows behind Digi.* "Might as well."
Digifanatic: *waits for anyone else to say if they're coming before he heads out.*
Alexia: "I'll go, too."
Aaron: "Me smash?"
Dragoshi: "No."
Aaron: "Huh?"
Metal Man: "Okay... that's Dragoshi and Darkdata... and Alexia. Ok, you guys go through. We'll proceed to phase II after that."
Alexia: "Got it."
Digifanatic: "Fair enough."
Darkdata: "Ok."
Metal Man points at Aaron. "You'll get to smash things soon enough."
Julian: "Whoa whoa whoa... Why is Alexia going?"
Metal Man: "...I dunno, it's your choice."
Julian: "Instead'a her, Let's send Azure. He's even more balanced than Digi."
Metal Man: "Yeah, I like the sound of that."
Alexia: "Wait a minute."
Dragoshi: "Hm?"
Azure: "Hmm..."
Alexia: "Julian, you overlook the fact that I went there before in the first place. Azure hasn't."
Julian: "An'? He's still more balanced than you are."
Alexia: "Did he do a test like I did?"
Julian: "What test?"
Dragoshi: "...Test?"
Alexia: "A test to become balanced. Julian, why are you doubting me so much?"
Julian: "Because you're as unbalanced as HELL. Azure an' Digi an' someone else should be the ones goin'."
Alexia sighs and turns away. "Fine."
Azure: "Instead of throwing questions back and forth. I am standing right here dear Alexia. If you wish so strongly to go I have no reason to stand in the way." he looks at the two of them "There is no reason for this to become an argument."
Dragoshi: "...Quite. 'Sides, why only bring three people along?"
Darkdata: "Alexia, come back. And Azure can join us anyway. Like Metal said, the more the better."
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Digifanatic: "Oh yeah..."
Alexia: "All right."
Julian: "Whatever."
Alexia bites her lip to keep from dragging this out into a long argument. "Warp active, Metal?"
Metal Man: "Yes. You may proceed."
Alexia heads into the warp.
Azure: "Then shall we?"
Dragoshi: "Yes. That we shall."
Darkdata: *Enter the warp.*
Digifanatic: *warps.*
Dragoshi: *WARP... ENTERU.*
Metal Man (GM): The warped people appear in the Ultimate Emerald room. The emerald lights up immediately.
Ultimate Emerald: "So... you return at last. What do you seek today?"
Darkdata: "We seek help."
Ultimate Emerald: "Are you balanced... or do you agree to become balanced?"
Digifanatic: "Well, we need to determine that. Some of us here, including myself, think we are balanced, but we're not certain of it."
Darkdata: "If I am not balanced, I agree to become balanced."
Dragoshi: *Nods in agreement.*
Ultimate Emerald: "So far as I can tell, none of the people who I generally demand be balanced are in your party. But if they still exist and are imbalanced, then my help can only be done through you four."
Darkdata: "There may be others who just could not make it. What about them?"
Ultimate emerald: "Bring them or suffer without them to be able to aid in whatever task you want of me."
Azure steps up.
Ultimate Emerald: "Hm. Still, only five. If that is fine with you, then give me... your task."
Azure: .oO(One should not force becoming balanced. It happens threw experience and acceptance. But I won't express that here.)
Dragoshi: *Thinks, trying to remember the objective.*
Metal Man: (Dex) "I take it by that silence you forgot the plan was to focus the one Good Emerald's power through the Ultimate Emerald, so as to use the Marician machine."
Digifanatic: "Oh, right... that."
Dragoshi: *Nods.*
Digifanatic: "I'm just thinking blow Ricky up with it..."
Darkdata: "..."
Ultimate Emerald: "That... is not balanced."
Digifanatic: "I'm sorry."
Dragoshi: "...No, Digi."
Alexia gets in the same kneeling position she did last time, hair dropping over her eyes.
Ultimate Emerald: "Even if he was destroyed, the imbalance would continue."
Alexia: "Please forgive him."
Dragoshi: "If I remember correctly the Marician Machine's use was for it to disable his weapons."
Digifanatic: "But, like all of the rest of us, I'm just a bit ticked off at that Koopa... yes, please forgive me."
Ultimate Emerald: "His soul is what matters, not his words. If this is what you want, then I shall proceed. However you must be warned... You do not have enough power, even with me, to disable all of Ricky's weapons."
Dragoshi: "...I see."
Ultimate Emerald: "You shall have to deal with him and his most powerful weapons yourself."
Dragoshi: "..."
Darkdata: "If we had the rest of the emeralds?"
Azure: "Is there any way we can avoid that conflict..."
Julian: *bzzt.*
Ultimate Emerald: "Only in that case could you erase all the weapons and stop him, however..."
Metal Man (GM): It shows an image of The Void flying very, very far away.
Dragoshi: "Of course."
Ultimate Emerald: "Your imbalances have lead chaos to run from you. You are too lawful. Therefore you only have one emerald to focus. Your balance shall be fine-tuned through the destruction of the most imbalanced weapons this planet has seen in ages. If you have no other inputs, let us begin the process."
Digifanatic: *asks nothing and just nods.*
Azure: .oO(This... makes no sense...) "Very well."
Dragoshi: .oO(...Why do I have a feeling...) *Nods.*
Darkdata: "Hmm... Agreed."
Digifanatic: .oO(But if we keep chaos here, that means The Void is still blowing something up, but this time, it's Genetia instead of... wherever.)
Metal Man (GM): It glows... the one emerald the Questers have (in Alexia's hands) glows... and a blue light fills the room. The entire planet turns blue, as the emerald's power washes over the attacking Imperial Collective troops. Their weapons disintegrate one by one. However... *Camera zooms into Ricky's ship.*
Ricky: "A-HAH! They think they can erase my weapons with magical gibberish? I have my own machine..."
Metal Man (GM): He throws the covers off of a strange device, labeled 'Property of Charles L. Magellean.'*
Ricky: "The White emerald... the ultimate emerald... the very thing Charles was seeking! It is here!"
Metal Man (GM): He flips several switches.
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Sir, are you sure you want to use the final device Charles made before he went insane? We have no clue what it'll do."
Ricky: "Nonsense. Charles was this--" *he puts his fingers 1 millimeter apart.* "--close to finding out the truth. He was the opposite of balance, and he was looking for the White Emerald so he and it could touch one another and annihilate each other, therefore destroying them both! This machine was to negate enough energy so he could touch it safely and therefore annihilate it, but now it'll work... for this!" *Presses a red button.*
Metal Man (GM): The camera zooms out. Almost all the weapons are gone, however when it hits the ship... it is repelled. An X-zone field appears... blocking it from the most powerful weapon of Ricky's. Spontaneously, another field appears protecting Ivo Robotnik's base. Back at the Master Emerald chamber...
Ultimate Emerald: "It has been done. Ricky's forces are nearly defenseless."
Alexia: "..."
Azure: "And you're sure this will restore your idea of 'balance'?"
Ultimate Emerald: "So I have foretold... law shall collide with chaos. You who disrupted the chaotic one, destroyed the corrupt one, and chased away the devil's successor... Shall now fight the emblem of darkness and decide the fate of this planet."
Metal Man (GM): A warp back to the ARK appears.
Digifanatic: .oO(Easier than I thought??)
Darkdata: "Thank you Emerald." *Warps Back.*
Digifanatic: "Yes, indeed. Thank you very much."
Alexia: "..."
Digifanatic: *follows Darkdata.*
Alexia gets up and warps back to the ARK.
Julian: *Where Julian is waiting with not-so-open arms.* "That was fast."
Dragoshi: *Bows in thanks, then warps back to the ARK as well.*
Douglas: "Hey! How was it? I was getting food and I didn't know you were goin' to see my ole pal Ultimate Emerald."
Metal Man: "So... that leaves part 2. Again, you have many choices."
Darkdata: "I wonder what shadow is going to think now?"
Metal Man: "Ricky's ship... can either be fought directly, invaded, lured somewhere, warped away, frozen in time, or perhaps stolen by pirates."
Douglas: *Shadow impersonation.* "Easy Pray. Let's lure it into... umm..."
Metal Man: "The sun?"
Julian: "I'm thinkin' invasion again. Maybe weakenin' his defenses a bit with an X-Zone bomb 'fore hand."
Douglas: "Sure!"
Metal Man: "You'd need two bombs to do that, though, Julian. He used an X-zone shield there."
Julian: "We got two bombs, right?"
Metal Man: "We only have one X-zone bomb."
Julian: "So let's get another one."
Dragoshi: "...They cost a million coins."
Metal Man: "It's not comin' out of my salary." *Chuckles.*
Julian: "Pony up. Let's hit the bank. Oughta be able to come up with 1 mil 'tween all of us."
Douglas mutters. "It's not coming out of my savings account!"
Dragoshi: "Nor mine."
Darkdata: "Nor mine."
Metal Man: "Bank, eh? Comin' right up." *Opens a warp to the bank.*
Dragoshi: "...Do you even have one?"
Douglas: "I've got about 300k coins to spare."
Metal Man: "Remember, greed never saves the day."
Julian: "I co-own the place." *heads into the warp.*
Metal Man: "..." *Looks left and right quickly.*
Dragoshi: "...Yes, Metal? ...Oh, right. This is coming from the guy with the expensive limo."
Douglas: "...K." *Enters the warp.*
Digifanatic: *just goes and follows Julian on in.*
Dragoshi: *Eyeroll of +20 sarcasm. Enter warp.*
Darkdata: *follow.*
Alexia enters the warp as well.
Darkdata: *Follows them into the warp.*
Metal Man: "My limo fights evil by... uh... using up all the coins so they can't have any?"
Metal Man (GM): At the Wario-Waluigi-Julian Bank, Wario is wandering around in the lobby, when the Questers suddenly appear.
Wario: "Gah! Don't you know how to use doors?"
Darkdata: "No."
Julian: "We couldn't catch a ride. How's business?"
Douglas: "It's better than crashing though the walls in a limo."
Alexia gives Dark a look.
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Wario: "...Whatever. What-acha want? Oh, business is great. Ricky just invested millions of coins."
Azure just is silent now. Wario just didn't look or feel like someone he needs to talk to.
Julian: "Great. Get me a record of all the Quester's accounts. We're buyin' a bomb."
Azure: "..."
Dragoshi: "..."
Azure: "I must object to this. Why are you doing something like that?"
Douglas: "Not with my savings! Nor Dragoshi's!"
Julian: "Because we're a group, right? Only way we're gettin' this done is AS a group."
Douglas: "...Nor Darkdata's, if he has an account..."
Wario: "Okay..."
Douglas: "I offered 300k of my own coins I have on me."
Metal Man (GM): He takes out the records and shows the current coin amount.
Julian: "Listen, how much you guys HAVE in here? Don't answer that, I'll look myself..." *checks it out.*
Darkdata: "Like I said, I can't give from my account, because I do not have one."
Alexia takes out her money from her backpack and places it on a nearby table. "23600. Every coin I have."
Digifanatic: *Takes out 100K, leaving him with about half of what he came with...*
Metal Man (GM): Julian sees Douglas has 1,296,871 coins.
Julian: "Lesse... I'll chip in what I've got." *Julian fishes around in his back pocket, and pulls out a bag with 127,834 coins in it.*
Darkdata: *Drops 100k out from his bad of holding.*
Alexia: "...I feel poor."
Julian: "...Aetos, you could buy the damn thing YO'SELF."
Douglas has 300k in a big bag out to offer.
Dragoshi: "...Ah, what the hell?" *Pulls out a 300k bag as well to offer.*
Digifanatic: "Okay, okay, we're getting close here..."
Darkdata: 73600k.
Julian: "A'ight, countin' in mine, Alexia's, Darkdata's, Aetos', and Drago's current offer... we're about 15k short."
Douglas: "Oh! I have another 80k I think in here." *gets 80k more out.*
Julian: "Digi, pony up."
Darkdata: "Digi did."
Darkdata: "Oh..."
Julian: "Wait, scratch that." *Add in Digi's name to the list of contributors...*
Wario: "You have plenty of coins to buy... what are you buying?"
Douglas: "A device that will lead all that money of Ricky's to become yours!"
Alexia: "Something."
Wario: "That sounds suspicious. I better not believe you."
Julian: "We're abut 50k short."
Alexia pockets the Blue Emerald, just to make sure that Wario doesn't try to pawn it off of her.
Wario: "Julian, you tell me what you are buying."
Douglas: "Then again." *How much money does Ricky HAVE in his account?*
Julian: "Already said it."
Metal Man (GM): Douglas doesn't know, but it's probably millions.
Wario: "What... type of bomb?"
Douglas: "Can't Ricky just buy himself another empire if it's destroyed?"
Wario: "Dead people can't buy things."
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Julian: "Dead people's money becomes bank funds."
Douglas: "I didn't think we were killing Ricky. I thought the plan was to disable him and make him go mad."
Wario: "Kuja's massive hidden bank accounts have been left untouched for years for that reason... he hid them with a bank he made somewhere ancient."
Digifanatic: "Yeah..."
Julian: "You ain't been payin' attention, then."
Wario: "Are you nuts? Ricky's a nutcase already. Nothing could make him worse than he is now."
Darkdata: *:3 face.*
Wario: "He claimed those coins he was putting in would allow him to do something in the future. He has no future. Now, you're only 50k short?"
Julian: *Julian totals everything up on a calculator he's produced from somewhere.* "A'ight, we're 48,566 coins short." *Not counting in Aetos' additional 80k, should he offer it.*
Douglas: "Wario, wanna free this planet from Ricky's clutches?"
Julian: "Aaaaaaaand... we're there."
Digifanatic: "Well, when he's this close to global domination and all of a sudden, he's screwed and can't do a thing... I'd imagine he would not hit the peak of possible insanity."
Julian: "With coinage to spare."
Douglas: "I'll offer Iggy the tip."
Wario: "Okay... if you have to withdraw anything, I'll let you withdraw it now... on the circumstance you don't ever, ever do it again. That is, withdraw so early and unannounced."
Douglas: "Why the offer?..."
Julian: "Nah, we're fine. Wario, I need you to take all this coinage, open an account titled 'Quester Bomb Fund', an' ratify it quick so I can write Iggy."
Metal Man (GM): He does so with a hand-held thingy.
Julian: *Julian writes out the check with a handy checkbook.* "Got it. Let's book."
Digifanatic: "Sweet."
Metal Man (GM): A warp appears... to Iggy's castle.
Alexia: "Thanks." *heads over and warps.*
Darkdata: *Walks through the warp.*
Digifanatic: *To the warp!*
Azure sighs and goes through the warp.
Wario: "Of course. He's another customer."
Julian: *Into ze warp.* "Keep up the good work, Wario."
Dragoshi: *Walks over to the warp.*
Digifanatic: "Dang, you're good at this, Julian."
Julian: "I read a book 'bout all this once."
Metal Man (GM): The Questers appear before Iggy.
Digifanatic: "Ah..."
Iggy: "Come for some bom-bom-bomBOMBs?"
Douglas .. decides it's best not to over-indulge... he takes all of the funds out of the Wario account now, but might come back later... when he trusts Wario again.
Julian: "You got it." *holds out the check.* "We'll be takin' one."
Douglas: "I'll... be back later, Wario." *Goes to the warp.*
Iggy: "Woohoo!" He takes then rolls another bomb and chucks it to you. "By the by, is this for that runt Ricky Koopa?"
Digifanatic: "Ohhhhhhhhh yeah."
Dragoshi: "...mhm."
Digifanatic: "He's going down."
Iggy: "I think I'll be attacking him with my fortress then."
Julian: "Great. Wait for us to set off the bombs, first."
Iggy: "...You get ready, yes. Then once he is open to attack I shall unleash my own barrage."
Metal Man (GM): A warp back to the ARK appears.
Douglas: "Have fun, koopa!"
Dragoshi: *To ZA WARUPO!*
Douglas goes into the warp.
Digifanatic: *And back to the base!*
Darkdata: "Turtle Microwave Cooking..."
Julian: *To Zee Wark.*
Darkdata: *To the warp.*
Dragoshi: *After taking the bomb.*
Julian: *Yeah, making sure the Bomb went with them.*
Alexia: *WARPITY WARPINATION.*
Metal Man (GM): The Questers warp onto the ARK.
Azure: *more running leaping and warping.*
Metal Man (GM): Metal Man is there.
Metal Man: "Wow. You guys like running around. So, you got the bombs?"
Alexia: "Yes sir."
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Julian: "Sure do."
Alexia takes the Emerald back out of her pocket and looks at it contemplatively.
Dragoshi: *Looks at Alexia.* "Hmm?"
Alexia: "...I wonder how Emeralds are able to generate that much power."
Metal Man: "Great." *Points to a ladder nearby.* "You can board the Seeker now."
Julian: "Magic. Now c'mon." *Heads up/down the ladder and into the Seeker.*
Digifanatic: "Alright..." *to the Seeker!*
Alexia: "Even magic has its logic..."
Darkdata: *Heads to the seeker.*
Alexia heads up to the Seeker.
Douglas: "It's a whole 'relic' thing, Alexia. Relics like that just tend to be more powerful than anything... but I don't think we'll see the emeralds for too long... all relics fade away quickly, lately."
Dragoshi: .oO(Good question. Though, yea. Prolly' magic... Though, Alexia's also right... Grah. Confusing.) *Into the Seeker he goes!*
Douglas enters the seeker after Dragoshiii.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk inside... wow... it looks much more high-tech. Tails is at the controls, which no longer use switches or buttons. They're holographic.
Alexia: "...Whoa."
Metal Man (GM): Glyph is besides him, with Grodus staring at him, as Vector is operating the defenses.
Douglas: "Go Fox/Fox/Alligator/-- HI GRODUS!"
Darkdata: "Nice work."
Alexia: "You really fixed this place up..."
Douglas: "Long time no see!"
Dragoshi: "Yea, seriously."
Metal Man (GM): Sonic is busy testing some of the doors by running through them.
Julian: "Yo. We got a bomb. Where's it go?"
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Stop leering, buckethead!"
Azure looks around.
Digifanatic: "Looks nice."
Grodus: "I predicted you would say that. All is going according to plan." *stares at Leviathan.*
Glyph: *Leviathan stares back and does not blink.* "I have the kind of gaze that can unravel souls... or something!"
Alexia: "Want me to knock him out, Grodus?"
Glyph: *Leviathan turns quickly to Alexia, hisses, and turns back to Grodus and stares.*
Darkdata: *Holds out a box of candy to Leviathan.* "Candy?"
Alexia hisses right back at Lev.
Julian: "...Who the hell let this sucka outta his box?"
Grodus: "I predicted you would say that, Julian. I let him out so I could stare at him."
Glyph grabs the entire box of candy and begins chomping on the sides without averting his gaze. He doesn't seem to be actually getting any of the candy.
Julian: "Whatever. Where's the bomb go?"
Alexia: "...How much DO you predict anyways?"
Dragoshi: "Prolly' almost everything." :/
Tails: "Hand me that, I'll see to it it's put with the other one!"
Dragoshi: "That's my guess..."
Tails: "And I heard somebody had an emerald. Could you give me that, too?"
Alexia: "Sure." *takes out the Emerald and hands it to Tails.*
Tails: "It'll be perfect to serve as a new power source, as the previous one appears to have been absorbed by... whatever he is." *Points at Glyph.*
Glyph: *Leviathan throws the box he is unable to open without looking behind his head at whoever is unfortunate enough to be behind him and stares at Grodus.*
Tails: *Sticks the emerald into the panel--it is absorbed into it seamlessly.*
Alexia: "A psycho nutcase that I really want to pistol-whip?"
Julian: *motions for Dragoshi to hand over the Bomb to Tails.*
Aaron: "Me eat fox."
Metal Man (GM): He hears Aaron and brandishes the bomb at him.
Alexia: "With enough personalities to ride in a carpool lane?"
Dragoshi: *Does so.*
Glyph: [Leviathan] "You'd think that trick would work, but no. The transportation authorities are surprisingly strict."
Digifanatic: "No, we are not going to waste one million coins like that!"
Tails: "Are you sure you want to say that when I have a bomb which could annihilate you, us, and this space station in my hand?"
Julian: "Eat him an' you're goin' out the airlock."
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Two counting myself."
Tails: "It's the power of a black hole... in the palm of my hand!"
Aaron: "You crabby."
Tails: *Sticks it into the panel, it is also absorbed.* "Okay, let's gooooo!"
Douglas: "That doesn't sound like you, Tails."
Dragoshi: "...A black hole in the palm of your hand."
Douglas: "...That does, though!"
Tails: "Well, I heard it in some cheesy movie I watched. I always wanted to say something like that before... it doesn't matter, though." *CLICK* *VOOSH.*
Metal Man (GM): The ship disengages and flies towards the planet.
Azure sighs .oO(Weapons..weapons and more weapons. Constant destruction on high scales is apparently the only continuation this universe serves. It grows heavy on me...)
Douglas: "Let's blast off with SONIC SPEED!"
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Wait, wait, wait. When was it decided I had to go on your suicide mission too?"
Douglas: "When you stopped being Hop, duh!"
Grodus: "Since your other personality agreed to fix this ship. Which they didn't. So now you pay for their mistakes."
Julian: "When you got outta the box."
Glyph: [Leviathan] "I'll have you know that he only agreed because I told him to or I'd destroy him! So there!"
Grodus: "If you didn't have multiple personalities I would have sealed you inside the Shadow Queen's tomb long ago."
Glyph: [Leviathan] "You don't know me!"
Grodus: "I know you dislike me."
Dragoshi: "...Shadow Queen?"
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Unless you do and I don't remember you. I tend to forget--there's so many damn faces."
Tails: "Okay, we should be approaching the ship... woah! Is that what you're up against?"
Alexia: "C'mon, lemme pistol-whip him."
Darkdata: "You never studied the history of other realms, did you draggy?"
Metal Man (GM): The screen shows a hi-def, widescreen picture of a massive, flying city.
Glyph: [Leviathan] "If we're setting off any bombs that end up destroying us all including you guys I will acquiesce."
Dragoshi: "...I have. Somewhat." :/
Grodus: "That is Ricky's main base. Supposedly invincible. However it was designed before anti-X-zone shield weaponry existed."
Julian: "Let's blow it the fuck up."
Douglas: "We were told only 2 hits with the bombs and it wouldn't be so invincible anymore."
Sonic: "All right! Time to knock that turtle down some notches!"
Douglas: "Have I heard that before?..."
Vector: "Geez... that thing's firing everything it has at us!"
Tails: "Fire one!" *Hits control hologram.*
Metal Man (GM): *VOOSH* It fires a bomb at the massive city. The city is surrounded by a black force field. ...The bomb hits it and explodes... creating a giant black globe. The globe hits the force field, and both shatter like glass.
Alexia: "YES!"
Dragoshi: "...Ba-damn."
Tails: "And... fire two!"
Metal Man (GM): The ship shakes as the shields take several hits. *VOOSH.* The second bomb flies at the city... *BAM!!!* It eats a massive hole in it, exposing some of its internals and ripping away vital defenses.
Douglas: "If only we got another one!"
Tails: "And in comes the backup!"
Metal Man (GM): The Questers see... the Region ship, and Iggy's fortress.
Dragoshi: "...Wow. We're just ripping at this thing like... Woah."
Darkdata: "... Hehe."
Douglas: "Oh well, let's .. hrm..." *Tries to recall some generic Sonic team phrases.*
Metal Man (GM): The wrecked city attempts in vain to defend, as it's raked by thousands of missiles, lasers, and gravity beams.
Alexia grins at the screen and wags a finger. "We'll play with you some other time, Ricky."
Julian: "Let's get in there, find him, an' make sure he don't do NONE'A this ever again!"
Digifanatic: "If you're trying to say what I think you want to, Douglas, you'll probably end up saying something horrendously cheesy."
Metal Man (GM): The Seeker adds to it by shooting its main Eggman cannon (Now at an extremely high power thanks to the emerald), making a hole right through the center of it. Meanwhile, in Ricky's Throne room... Ricky sits on his throne as everything explodes around him.
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "Er... sir... what's happened to Charles is now happening to you. Everybody and their brother is trying to kill you. And they appear to be succeeding, as there's a hole the size of a football field in our core. You must give up, as Charles did, and try again later."
Ricky: "Heh heh heh... you, and Charles, never learned from your mistakes. But I was ready for this all along!"
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "...Nonsense. You were telling me you were going to kill them today and end it forever."
Ricky: "What? You question my omniscience?"
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "You're not omniscient. All the weapons you prepared have... exploded. You used your 'Ultimate Attack' mid-battle last time, and I don't think you'd even get that far if you confronted them directly THIS time."
Ricky: "Grrr... How dare you... I must be able to defeat them somehow!"
Metal Man (GM): He slams a control panel, as it breaks.
Ricky: "This is not the end... never!"
Bob, Lord of Electric Death: "I and Fayth are leaving. We will continue Charles' work. McDermid is dead. Shadow deserted you. And Charles... he hates you."
Ricky: "Hmph. You shall see the error of your ways in time... For I shall survive this incident! I shall kill them alllll!!!"
Metal Man (GM): *BLAMMMM.* Back to the Seeker...
Tails: "It appears his ship was vaporized."
Julian: "Great."
Alexia: "...So we've finally won?"
Tails: "Two large programs were sent from it before it exploded, but there's nothing else left."
Dragoshi: "...Check for anything suspicious. Just in case."
Digifanatic: "Yes, please."
Tails: "The programs went into space. Without a receptacle, they may never return again."
Dragoshi: "I don't want any of that 'rise out of the ashes' crap."
Tails: "There is nothing left."
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Isn't this the part where the final boss rises from the dust and attacks the ship?"
James: (Comms) "Nothing here either!"
Dragoshi: "...I think so."
Alexia: "...If it's finally over..."
Glyph: [Leviathan] "Lame. Can I get an escape pod or something so you all can die without me?"
Iggy: *Comms.* "I made sure to destroy even the dust from that ship."
Alexia: "...I think we all need a break for a while."
Dragoshi: "...Good move, Iggy."
Digifanatic: "Indeed."
Dragoshi: "I suppose so..."
Douglas: "But... The two programs must be the traitorous Bob and Fayth... oh how I wish I knew of those evil grins Fayth made behind my back."
Julian: "So, we're done?"
Tails: "Looks like we fixed his ship, then... his empire is done for."
Julian: "We can finally get the fuck OUTTA here."
Tails: "Yup! You keep the ship. We'll go back to Elendo, and... it's all done."
Digifanatic: "Sounds good to me. Genetia, you are spared once again."
Darkdata: "I am still waiting... this was too easy."
Dragoshi: "...Quite."
Tails: "Of course... you could do us a little help, but... you don't have to. If you dislike this place, we won't waste your time."
Julian: "What's the help?"
Digifanatic: "Well, tell me what it is and I'll think about it."
Alexia: "I'll do it. We owe you, after all."
Dragoshi: "...Such as?"
