Trivia: For some reason, the line about mimes was considered so 'witty' it was re-used in the 'presidential election' for the now gone "Neglected Mario Characters" website. Current (2021) me has no clue why that warranted this 'trivia' note.

Metal Man (GM): Metal Man is in the big room, reviewing all sorts of photos. He's about to say something... when he then puts them down and points out of the room.

Metal Man: "A Quester is currently out of their right mind. We cannot simply ignore them this time."

Dragoshi: *Blinks.*

Julian: *Looks in the direction of the point.*

Metal Man (GM): It's at the capsule with Alexia in it.

Dragoshi: "Aye. That we can't."

Wolfman is in the Big Room as well... and sees... Alexia's capsule.

Metal Man: "We must fix this. I will throw all the Questers at this problem this time."

Garrick: *stares sadly at Alexia, frowning..*

Julian: "'Bout time."

Garrick: "...just what do you plan on doing?"

Metal Man: "Well, there's the rub. My way didn't work, so I'm going to let you guys try your own first. Who would like to go first... assuming it doesn't involve hitting her with blunt objects?"

Garrick: "Well, what do you plan on US doing?"

Wolfman: "Anything we can think of Garrick."

Metal Man: "You guys think that up. If you have a plan, I'll try it."

Glyph leans against a wall.

Wolfman: "And if violence is needed, that's where one of my plans can take shape."

Julian: "Whatever you feel like, Garrick. Me An' Drago got a plan cooked up already."

Metal Man: "I have a final plan, but it just ain't pretty. I don't want to have to resort to it."

Garrick: *frowns, leaning back in his chair and pondering..*

Dragoshi: .oO(My preparations are complete... I have all the pieces in place... For the most part.) *Nods in agreement with Julian.*

Julian: "Although I still think we should send her to a shrink, first. By force if necessary."

Garrick: "...Metal, didn't you already do something like this?"

Wolfman: "Then my plan would go before yours Metal."

Alexia just stares morosely at the other Questers.

Metal Man: "I'm not going to give up just yet."

Garrick: "I read the logs. You used that dust of yours."

Glyph: "Can we stop doing this capsule thing, for starters?"

Metal Man: "She will run away the minute it is not used."

Darkdata: "We could just let me cook up an antidote in the kitchen."

Garrick: *eyes Darkdata.* "I think not."

Metal Man: "Dust? I didn't use any dust on her. I burnt the fur itself."

Darkdata: "It might only take, 10, 30, 100 tries."

Garrick: "No no, I mean back when.'

Glyph: "Perhaps I'm a little behind--what, exactly, is she in danger of doing?"

Garrick: "With that orc guy that kept going after her."

Wolfman: "Glyph, she is... obsessed over fur that she believes is cursed. She has been trying to steal it ever since it came into Julian's hands."

Julian: "Aaron?"

Metal Man: "Running off and going insane, possibly creating her own group of maniacs to attack us."

Garrick: "Yeah."

Metal Man: "That dust isn't my plan this time." *takes out a gun.* "This is."

Julian: "Could it be-Whoa."

Garrick: "...you're going to kill her?!"

Wolfman: "...de-Quester her."

Metal Man smiles tackily. "No, of course not! I'm the good guy! This is just a de-powering thing."

Wolfman: "...just like I said."

Garrick: "...god, Metal, do you know how powerful that thing is?"

Metal Man: "If she's going to be insane, she can do it, just sans powers that could make it a real mess."

Glyph: "MAC cannon talks about power..."

Metal Man: "Well, I assembled it myself with Professor Oak's help. It's powerful enough to make her merely human... er... dragon... rather than Quester +. I even have lots of knobs to adjust. And the safety on it is really good... er..."

Garrick: "MAC cannon or not, even if Julian got hit with a MAC round, he can get revived by the Quester Re-Life system."

Metal Man: "...I don't want to use this, that's why I'm asking you for your help. I'm all doom and gloom and capsules. That isn't working."

Wolfman: "...wait a second."

Metal Man puts the gun away and shrugs. "So if you have a better idea, I want to hear it."

Wolfman: "Clarification Metal. Doesn't the Quester Re-Life system regive us lives when we re-enter the Base?"

Glyph: "Can we start talking to her already?"

Wolfman: "If so, shouldn't you... well, disable it this time?"

Metal Man: "The Quester enchantment works anywhere."

Darkdata: "The whole problem is that she can;t sleep right?"

Metal Man: "That gun turns off the enchantment. Apparently, yes, Darkdata."

Garrick: "I doubt it'll work, Glyph... she won't listen to reason."

Metal Man: "Any of you can talk to her. Right now, even."

Darkdata: "If there is no curse, then I should be able to put her to sleep."

Metal Man: "I'm just not talking to her because the last time failed miserably."

Garrick: "Any of us should."

Wolfman: "And my attempts at working with SIMBER during the Water Land mission didn't work either."

Darkdata: "Alexia, so you trust me?"

Glyph: "I want to talk to her."

Garrick: "...wait... ...maybe THAT'S the problem..."

Dragoshi: "...Hmm?"

Metal Man idly looks over his armor. "Hmmmmm..."

Julian: "Go ahead, I ain't stoppin' yah."

Metal Man: "She's right there."

Darkdata walks over.

Metal Man glances at Alexia, wondering if she'd even respond to Darkdata.

Darkdata: "Alexia, talk to me. If you want to."

Garrick: "Unless Alexia's mind is different from normal humans with her dragon physiology, she should have the same sleep patterns that all humans have."

Alexia just stares directly into Darkdata's eyes, not blinking.

Glyph wanders over with Darkdata.

Metal Man: "She has multiple personalities, her hidden ones are more rational."

Glyph: "We need to get a response, first, right?"

Garrick: "The mind needs thirty minutes of REM sleep. Rapid Eye Movement."

Glyph: "Any response? Because."

Darkdata: "Alexia, we have been though a lot, I need you to respond to me."

Garrick: "There could be a change in her brain that's not letting her achieve REM sleep..."

Metal Man: "She claims it's the fur, however there is no pathological reason for that."

Alexia: "..."

Metal Man: "Dr. Archel's curse is not that... it's something more obscure, and she wants to be cursed by it, meaning that she definitely hasn't been cursed by it yet."

Garrick: "Wouldn't that make it mind over matter?"

Wolfman: "...then why don't we contact Archel ourselves? We are allied with him now."

Garrick: "If you believe in something so much, it just--" *glances to Wolf.*

Metal Man: "That's the thing."

Darkdata: *Eye brow up.* "I know you are not mute."

Glyph: [Leviathan] "I bet I could get a reaction out of her."

Metal Man: "I've asked him. He said that he didn't remember much about a curse on it... except that it may steal coins on a full moon."

Glyph coughs.

Metal Man: "Nothing at all like this... I'll tell you his reason, too."

Alexia continues staring at them both.

Metal Man: "He doesn't have the resources. If this was a curse, it'd be superior to anything we've ever seen before."

Darkdata: "Well, can you nod?"

Metal Man: "That includes Kuja's curse of turning fighters to stone."

Julian: "Statues."

Metal Man: "And that was so powerful it hit people WHO WEREN'T FIGHTERS."

Glyph: [Leviathan] "Let's dump water on her."

Metal Man: "Across the entire planet."

Glyph: [Leviathan] "She hates that."

Metal Man: "Possibly across the solar system."

Darkdata: "Water?"

Metal Man: "I could try water, but physical stimuli never worked well with her..."

Wolfman: "...well, there goes that idea."

Dragoshi: *Nodnod.*

Glyph: [Leviathan] "What? I just thought it'd be fun."

Metal Man: "So. Any of you have any ideas?"

Darkdata eyeball of truths Alexia.

Metal Man: "'Cause Dr. Mario's a horrible psychologist. Professor Oak tries to solve everything with cubes. Dr. Light's robots went Maverick in the future and made a mess."

Julian: "...No they didn't. But that's not the point. Why not go off-planet? Bound to be a good shrink somewhere."

Metal Man: "Hm."

Glyph starts casting Water on the capsule.

Wolfman: "...no need to remind me of the Mavericks Metal."

Metal Man (GM): The capsule repels it... it's water-tight.

Metal Man: "Uh. Gotta tell the capsule to do that... but I have the keys locked away to prevent that sort of abuse. But I can try that."

Metal Man (GM): Mewtwo floats in, crossing his arms.

Mewtwo: "Did you try to solve something without me again? Hm... yes... yes you did. A psychologist? I don't think she'll talk to anyone anymore."

Wolfman: "Mewtwo, pleasure to see you again."

Julian: "So you do somethin'."

Glyph: [Hop] "We were gonna call you 'cause you're psychic but you, um, tend to get really angry."

Mewtwo: "Yes... I had to take a vacation after the previous incident like this..."

Darkdata: "Hmm, I wonder, is it possible to call to her other personalties?"

Mewtwo: "But I shall do what I must to make this stop. Her brain is a maze which is hard to comprehend. It would take several attempts to eke out one personality or another."

Dragoshi: "...Well, I have a plan, to end this crap about the hide, but it involves... Well, yea. Can't reveal the detail considering she's right over there."

Mewtwo: "I will use my own abilities to deal with this... if they should fail, then you try your plans..."

Wolfman nods.

Metal Man (GM): He floats up to the tube and holds up a hand.

Dragoshi: *Nods.*

Metal Man (GM): Focusing his intense psychic power, he first tries to jab some reaction out of Alexia. He starts by saying various things in many languages in her mind, looking for even a thought that'd be a response.

Alexia: "...Stop it..."

Metal Man (GM): It stops immediately. Mewtwo points at Alexia.

Mewtwo: "So you are not brain dead. That is a noticeable improvement over Jesse and James. Now, tell me what you want... if you wish to get it. Otherwise the others will simply annoy you."

Metal Man (GM): This is all telepathic, of course; Mewtwo never really speaks.

Glyph: [Leviathan] "Damn straight." [Hop] "And we'll probably annoy Mewtwo too."

Alexia: *speaking out loud.* "Why? You won't listen."

Mewtwo: "I was not there when they made their decisions and imprisoned you here. I cannot listen in the first place if you shut me out. Their memories are wildly disjointed and distorted... indeed... Metal Man's mind is a train wreck."

Metal Man: "Hey! I'm perfectly sane!" *Knocks over a stapler and trips over it.*

Dragoshi: *Was so not involved with the decisions. ...I think.* >_>

Darkdata: .oO(I wonder where she got the idea in the first place? I mean, something like this would not just come to her, was she told?)

Alexia: "I need something to sleep..."

Dragoshi: "..." *Sighs, picks up the stapler and puts it back where it was.*

Alexia: "It wants me to get it. It wants out."

Dragoshi: .oO(What the hell is 'it'?)

Glyph: "Why don't we just give her the fur then, again?"

Dragoshi: "..." *Faycepalm.*

Mewtwo: "..." He subtly moves a hand. "The fur you wish has no value. Having been burnt, its residual coin-stealing curse is gone. Do you want a burnt fur... or is it something inside you which needs to escape? Or..." He grins slyly. "Do you simply need a teddy bear?"

Alexia: "...Don't you see? The fur isn't cursed. It has someone trapped inside it."

Glyph: .oO(How can Mewtwo grin, anyway? I didn't realize he had a mouth.)

Dragoshi: *Falls over.* "...If this is all it has been about, then I am so not gonna be in a good mood about it." *this.

Mewtwo: "Trapped... inside of it? But who?"

Dragoshi: "The teddy bear thing, I mean." @_@

Darkdata: "... That I was not expecting, why did you not tell us this sooner?"

Julian: "...Dang."

Dragoshi: "Yes... You'd think that these things would be important to mention."

Alexia: *ignoring Darkdata.* "I don't know. He says he's sorry for what's happening."

Julian: "So it's a he?"

Mewtwo: "Who is he?"

Alexia: "Apparently, he thought you'd give it to me after one or two days, not over a week..."

Mewtwo: "Whoever it is, real or imaginary, used rather poor tactics. For you leaving the Questers would simply prevent him from getting to you."

Dragoshi: *Ponders Alexi's motive... this is all just sounding like a load of bull so far. :/*

Garrick: "How do you figure that?"

Alexia (GM): Dragoshi's result... Undecided. This sounds stupid, yes, but she seems to be believing it fervently.

Mewtwo: "If I could know who, or why, or other details, then I could better verify the story and its significance."

Alexia: "That's all I know..."

Mewtwo: "For I know some Questers are haunted by things like this..."

Alexia lapses back into silence.

Dragoshi: "..." .oO(Regardless of how stupid this sounds, she apparently believes it.)

Glyph: "So all you know is that there's a guy who lives in the fur and you... don't do that quiet thing on us again!"

Metal Man stands and shakes his fist. "I told you, I burnt that couch because it made faces at me."

Dragoshi: "... Metal. You do not burn couches because they make faces at you."

Garrick: "Look, we need to get Alexia back on her feet. Mainly because if we don't, we're one Quester short in the battle against the Destroyer."

Metal Man: "Whatever you say, talking hat ra--Dragoshi."

Dragoshi: "You burn them when they start hypnotizing people."

Mewtwo: "I have done what I can without disturbing her memory. If I disturb it, I could get more out. I could also cause her to go completely insane."

Glyph: "Alexia. What do you want us to DO with this stupid fur?"

Mewtwo: "It would be even better if her other personality could talk, but that required poking that I would not do to an unhealthy mind. All I can do is this." He looks at Alexia. "You, the other personality. What is your say on this, if you're still in there?"

Garrick: "...wait... Mewtwo... there may be a way to do just that..."

Mewtwo: "Hmmm?"

Garrick: *looks over to Metal, frowning.* "...the Transformer?"

Metal Man: "Like we could get her to use it. She only talked to Mewtwo when he began poking her... in the brain. And even then, she's silent again now. I have another idea, but it's risky."

Julian: "Shoot."

Metal Man: "She ran away when let loose. She also spoke. If I just opened the capsule she might do... something. I couldn't be sure as to how well she could be contained, but if she's going to emulate the statue of me in the garden, then we have little choice."

Garrick: "I doubt it would matter, Metal."

Glyph: "Let's do that. And possibly give her that blanket."

Garrick: "Even if we DID let her out, she's still surrounded by all of us."

Glyph: "Metal! Key! Capsule! Go!"

Mewtwo: "Tsk tsk tsk... you forget about me again." He shakes his head. "I can create fields that can contain anything. But I don't think I'll need to use them."

Wolfman: "...and why not?"

Julian: "So let's DO IT, then. My leg's fallin' asleep."

Metal Man: "Okay, okay." *He takes out the keys from the drawer and jams 'em into the capsule, opening it up; Alexia could move however she wanted, including out of the capsule.*

Alexia: "...You're letting me out?"

Garrick: "No, we're airing the capsule out."

Metal Man: "What point is locking you in there if you're going to become a mime?"

Alexia: "Oh."

Metal Man: "Mimes don't fight crime. At least, not the ones I know."

Mewtwo: "Be careful... a mime might hit you for that."

Garrick: *snorts..*

Dragoshi: "Yea. With an invisible wall at that."

Alexia: "...So can I finally go get the hide?"

Dragoshi: "...Seriously, though."

Glyph: "That would make a lot of sense. Let's do that."

Metal Man: "I still say it's a bad idea... what if this he is something bad?"

Julian: "Then we kick his ass."

Glyph: "That does seem to be our strong point. Not, say, strategy."

Mewtwo: "I am simply curious." He holds his chin. "Why did you try to leave the Questers when you were denied it?"

Glyph: "Or psychology."

Mewtwo: "That's... counter-productive. You could have better asked Julian for it when he was here."

Dragoshi: "...Yes. He does bring up a point."

Mewtwo: "Normally, even. You even had it before."

Glyph: "It's just something multiple personalities do." [Leviathan] "Speaking from experience."

Mewtwo: "I haven't seen more than one personality in Alexia recently... the other one was more logical, not less."

Alexia: "...You mean three, right?"

Mewtwo: "However many there are. I need to know what made you go berserk over this time, when you had a logical, 100% successful alternative... because... it is not the hide I care about. It is easily yours. But..."

Wolfman: .oO(...it is?)

Mewtwo: "If it is this way with other objects, I won't be around every time to find out it was simply a mental issue."

Glyph: "We don't want to give you the hide if you'll go crazy again, basically."

Mewtwo: "And we can't have you blowing up HQ over Trimate, mushrooms, and Metal's left shoe."

Glyph: [Leviathan] "Good times..."

Mewtwo: "And Metal isn't... as understanding... neither is Wolfman."

Metal Man: "Teapot calling the Kettle Black, eh Mewtwo?"

Alexia: "The only reason I did all this was because I was forced to."

Dragoshi: "...Well, I guess I can just throw away my plan, then huh?"

Mewtwo: "...My past issues are not up for debate."

Julian: "Looks like it."

Mewtwo: "Forced to... by who? Which? What?"

Glyph: "Details!" *snaps his fingers.*

Mewtwo: "If we knew, you wouldn't look crazy."

Darkdata: "Anyway, can we get the skin? I would like to see Alexia finally be able to relax.

Mewtwo: "Doing it for no reason makes you look like him."

Dragoshi: .oO(Ehh... It prolly' would've failed by some sort of inane problem.)

Metal Man (GM): Metal, meanwhile, is chewing on an eraser.

Julian: "She's got multiple personality disorder, that's why."

Alexia: "By everyone here who wouldn't give it to me in the first place?"

Metal Man: "Grnrgrnrgr... hey! This eraser offended me first!"

Dragoshi: *Glances at Metal.* "Is that healthy for you? Chewing on erasers, I mean."

Metal Man: "Yes. I think. Ptooey!"

Alexia: "...I need to pay off the damages to Julian's room, too."

Glyph: [Hop] "I should certainly hope so. Otherwise I've made some bad choices in my life."

Mewtwo: "Now..." He summons the fur. "This has been burnt. There is no curse left on it. Inherit it and the wind and never do anything like this again."

Metal Man (GM): He hurls it in Alexia's face.

Mewtwo: "Because you're wasting the time of the entire world. Which, as I speak... is disintegrating."

Glyph: "Mewtwo respect plus plus."

Alexia wraps it around herself and promptly crashes to the ground like a sack of potatoes, fast asleep.

Mewtwo: "The Void himself has favored your time-wasting technique... and he's a hypocritical moro---... I rest my case."

Metal Man (GM): He floats off. Metal has clearly moved onto something else, picking at his finger joints with a pencil.

Julian: "...Anyway, we gotta find Knuckles fast."

Metal Man: "Blah blah blah blah. I say a big 2 by 4 would have worked better. Ah. Knuckles. That would be psychology case number 2 for today."

Dragoshi: "..."

Metal Man: "Trevor knows, but he also is still effected by some sort of impression that he is Charles. And Stockholm syndrome."

Dragoshi: "So, We snap him out of it?"

Julian: "So let's go kick his ass 'till he thinks different."

Metal Man: "He might prefer to drink cola than to save the universe... ...make sure you get it out of him. Well, your choice."

Glyph: "What does Sweden have to do with this?"

Darkdata drags Alexia to one of the many nearby couches and puts her there.

Metal Man: "...Beats me. His castle is wide-open, though... just like Charles'. Apparently Charles liked letting everyone break in. Anyway. I have a warp here." *Warp appears.* "Don't get too much of his pixels on you, this is only the beginning."

Julian: *Into the warp!*

Glyph: "I suppose I'll go. Maybe I'll find another thing to break with money inside.

Darkdata enters the warp.

Glyph enters the warp.

Dragoshi: *Walks on into the warp as well.*

Metal Man (GM): Everyone plus Garrick appear inside a vaguely familiar tower, made of blue material. The old imperial style is here; red carpet, plans left and right, paintings, pretentious classical music. The warp's right on floor 13, where Trevor in fact, sits on a throne, drinking Coca Cola. A throne of cracked marble, with bits of granite in it. He wears a crown made of leaves on his head, much likee Caesar.

Wolfman enters the warp.

Metal Man (GM): He speaks at the Questers in an imperial tone.

Julian: "Hey! You!"

Glyph: "Hey! Faux Magellean! Tell us where Knuckles is and we'll give you a Chaos Emerald or something. We've got those, right?"

Trevor: "Whereforth brings you to my palace? Thou knowest thine is too busy to hear thou."

Dragoshi: "...No we don't."

Glyph: "Some stupid Magellean crystal crap then. He likes those."

Trevor: "Chaos Emeralds? I need not those demon stones. For I am thy savior."

Glyph: "Okay then. Save us the trouble of asking again. Where is Knuckles?"

Wolfman: .oO(...he's a bit hot headed)

Trevor: "Knuckles? Thou art cryptic, for thee knowest not how I know him."

Darkdata is keeping his mouth shut, you can see on his face that talk like this bugs him.

Trevor: "He livest atop an island high above all spheres of aether... This isle, only I know of. Yet thou barge into my greatest castle... what is with thee?"

Julian: "Don't suppose you might wanna tell us where it is."

Trevor: "I require a proper tribute first, mortal."

Julian: "An' that would be..."

Trevor: "About... 35,000 coins... and thee must sing my praises. For I am the great Trevor Magellean... and thou art nothing but a Quester."

Wolfman gives up his 16K coins.

Metal Man (GM): Man. Somebody hit him with one potato too many.

Dragoshi: "..."

Glyph: [Leviathan] "I have a great singing voice."

Darkdata: *w* "If I scare him will it cause too much damage?"

Dragoshi: "...In the interest of ending this as soon as possible..." *Adds 19k to the 16k Wolf gave up.*

Julian: "Uh-huh. How about I pay you the coins an' someone else sings? Or they pay you. Whatever."

Trevor: "That shall do... naughty knave."

Wolfman: .oO(I don't recall meeting Trevor before... but man, this guy is annoying.)

Julian: *Mutters under his breathe.* "Lucky we ain't got time to beat yo' ass..."

Darkdata: *w* "I agree Julian, so much."

Metal Man (GM): That's 35k... now somebody must sing his praises. Or else he might throw grapes at somebody.

Darkdata: "Allow me to sing, just let me compose my self."

Metal Man (GM): He nods... counting the coins slowly.

Darkdata: I know of a great man, Trevor is that man. Deeds of greatness that he has done, sing through history, never unsung. I see the man before me, I am humbled by him. Oh gods bow before his might, he always does what is right. Trevor is indeed the greatest of them all!

Metal Man (GM): He coughs, and then hurls a disk to the floor at the Questers.

Trevor: "There... you have his blasted address. Now get out of my sig----"

Metal Man (GM): A computer beeps. He turns to it.

Glyph runs over and snatches the disk.

Metal Man (GM): It shows a big piece of Genetia just EXPLODE.

Wolfman: "..."

Trevor: "Oh dear. There goes the machine palace. I hated those robots anyway."

Glyph pockets the disk.

Wolfman: "...I hope your address was not located on that part of Genetia."

Trevor: "I must admit, this may be the last time we meet. Everything lately has been on fire or exploding. Just yesterday, the cave of the Commander and company simply vanished."

Glyph: "We have that effect on people."

Dragoshi: "Well, The Void is accelerating his plans or somesuch apparently..."

Trevor: "Hmmm... what is this?" He looks up a screen... and gasps. "Destruction IS increasing... though it isn't you, you are here."

Dragoshi: "Hmm?"

Glyph: "Right. Well, let's go back and get Knuckles so we can stop it." *fingers the disk.*

Metal Man (GM): The panels short out. Trevor abandons his facade and appears to return to normal.

Trevor: "You must flee, Questers. It appears this place is next."

Wolfman: "...understood."

Glyph: "Sounds like a plan. Somebody press the Dex button."

Wolfman: "Come on guys."

Metal Man (GM): Those red eyes appear on all the monitors... they laugh in unison.

The Void: "You speak like a drunkard and fight like a buffoon, Trevor. The world shall not miss the likes of you!"

Darkdata presses a button on the dex.

The Void: "Be dead... like Charles Magellean!!!!"

Metal Man (GM): The Questers warp out as the entire place explodes. All that's left is a piece of Trevor's foot laying on the ground, which fades out.

Glyph: "Well, that was entertaining. To Angel Island Zone!"

SIMBER: "It appears 1/3 of Genetia has spontaneously combusted. It began when you received that disk."

Dragoshi: "...Actually... We should prolly' use the disk first, though."

Glyph tosses SIMBER the disk.

Metal Man (GM): SIMBER grabs it, and then loads it.

Darkdata: "Did anyone catch my hidden song meaning? Anyway, we need to hurry up."

Metal Man (GM): A message appears.

Knuckles: "This is Knuckles here. ...Hey, Sonic! Stop moving the camera!"

Sonic: "It's cutting off your dreadlocks. We don't want people to think you're bald do we?"

Knuckles: "Grrr..."

Glyph: "Give us a location... give us a location..."

Metal Man (GM): SIMBER fast forwards through it. They apparently bicker for a few more minutes.

Glyph: "I hate to turn down good entertainment, but planetary destruction is planetary destruction."

Knuckles: "Now..."

Wolfman listens to Knuckles.

Dragoshi: "Very much so." *Would proceed to do the same...*

Knuckles: "Great destruction has hit our realm, and I'm unsure how much I will resemble myself here by the time this disk reaches the right hands, but my radar hasn't failed me yet..."

Julian: *Listens.*

Knuckles: "The Angel Island has been hidden in high orbit above whatever is prophesied to be called 'Nintendus.'"

Glyph: "Metal, get us a loc."

Metal Man: "I can't find it. Anywhere."

Knuckles: "It is shielded... Tails... er... show them your data."

Glyph: "Goddamn it, even the Echidnas have shielding. Why can't I have shielding?"

Tails: "Of course!" He walks on screen and shows some sort of complex field diagram on a computer, which runs across the screen.

Wolfman: "Easy there Glyph."

Tails: "I equipped it with a generator to be sure that The Void couldn't destroy it. But if you're watching this, you better act quickly. He'll probably find out about it within an hour of this message being played!"

Dragoshi: "I don't know, Glyph. I just don't." *Anyway, Drago looks at the diagram... thing.*

Tails: "So please hurry!"

Sonic: "That should be enough. I'll just turn this of--"

Knuckles: "Wait! I need to tell them about the defense---"

Metal Man (GM): It shuts off.

Glyph: "SIMBER, you catch that?"

Julian: "...Defense mechanisms. Great. "

Wolfman: "...typical. Defenses."

Glyph: "We'll go blow them up."

SIMBER: "Yes. All of the cloaking... but unfortunately no data on the defenses."

Glyph: "I have magic now, I guess."

SIMBER: "...Don't blow them up... OR use magic. Both would tip off The Void. He was already on to where the disk was... you got there in the nick of time."

Darkdata: "Yay, I am useless."

SIMBER: "We don't have long. I've identified the island now."

Glyph: "I dunno, that song was pretty badass."

Wolfman still wonders if the name has changed in this realm...

Metal Man (GM): It shows a ghostly, Sonic 3 and Knuckles-Angel Island. Palm Trees, a crater where the Death Egg was, and the whole nine yards. It is firmly identified as Angel Island.

Julian: "TOLD you."

SIMBER: "We can use the Dauntless, assuming Garrick is awake..."

Metal Man (GM): *Silence.*

SIMBER: "...We'll have to improvise then."

Metal Man: "Don't worry, I have something!"

Glyph runs over and grabs a big black box marked "Heisenberg".

Wolfman: "SIMBER: What about the old Parabeetles?"

SIMBER: "Not your limo. It can't go that far up there... or the beetles..."

Metal Man: "No, no. The REDITS!"

Julian: "What about my ride?"

Glyph: "Hop made this. What are the chances it is a spaceship?"

SIMBER: *Blank stare.*

Dragoshi: "...What's a REDITS?"

SIMBER: "That was junked years ago."

Metal Man: "I kept it in my room."

SIMBER: "You still have your room?"

Metal Man: "Yes."

SIMBER: "REDITS... an old transportation system..."

Julian: "Metal's got a room? I thought he slept in Here."

Wolfman: "Even Metal needs a room."

SIMBER: "If he's correct, his room has no room in it, because the REDITS can fit all of you and then a few more. Hm... yes..."

Darkdata: "The room still exists? he never attacked it for it's walls having ears?"

Metal Man: "Nah. My room's safe. Now the ceiling..." *He hurls a fork at it.* "It and me don't play nicely."

Glyph: "Is that a waffle I see stuck up there?"

Metal Man (GM): The entire planet rumbles. The waffle iron hits Metal in the head.

Metal Man: "Ow! ...Okay. Everybody to the outer space barge!"

Metal Man (GM): Metal runs up some stairs nearby.

Alexia gets shaken off the couch and falls to the ground. *THUD.*

Dragoshi: *Follows Metal, running as fast as he can.*

Julian: *Follow.*

Glyph: "Darkdata should cast Haste on everybody. He can do that, right?" *follows.*

Wolfman follows.

Metal Man: "Oh. Somebody bring Alexia too. She can... uh... sleep. Like Kirby."

Darkdata: "I can do that easy."

Glyph casts water on Alexia.

Darkdata strums a few notes.

Metal Man unlocks his room's door--which is still damaged--revealing an old ship laying in there.

Glyph: "My way is better."

Metal Man: "Hoo. Yurie claimed this wasn't space worthy. But ten-thousand screws don't lie!"

Glyph: "Assuming my trajectory is correct..."

Metal Man: "Now... how to get it out... I took it in part by part... ...Dang it. I'm going to have to pull an Alexia/Meier Link/Aribar/Grunty." *presses a button.* *BOOOM.*

Alexia gets water dumped on her and continues sleeping. MAN, she is out cold.

Metal Man (GM): The wall to the outside is blown away, so the ship can fly off.

Glyph is somewhat startled by the crash.

Metal Man (GM): Metal opens the door to the ship. It opens oddly, but it reveals a utilitarian inside.

Darkdata grabbed Alexia and pulled her along.

Metal Man (GM): Mostly held together by bolts and screws. A heavily repaired control panel shows full energy.

Dragoshi: *Blinks.*

Darkdata: "Where do you want her?"

Metal Man: "Man, it took a while to charge the battery on this thing. About 10 years, at least."

Wolfman enters the ship when told.

Metal Man: "Ah, Alexia. Put her over there."

Glyph: "Don't we still have a spaceship or something?"

Julian: *Inside...*

Dragoshi: "...10 years? Sheesh."

Metal Man points at a padded bench with seatbelts inside.

Glyph: "Why are we using this bucket of... er... screws."

Metal Man: "Kuja ship too big."

Darkdata puts her "over there."

Metal Man: "Garrick hid the keys to the Dauntless."

Dragoshi: "Makes sense."

Metal Man: "My limo is too small. Teleporters don't work so well to reach there anymore. We can land this up there."

Dragoshi: "'Kay."

Glyph: "Well, I never valued my life or safety much. I'm in." *hops into the machine and immediately begins examining the interior.*

Julian: "So let's GO."

Alexia rolls over and falls off the bench. Er, again.

Wolfman somehow finds his way to a comfortable "seat."

Dragoshi: *And Dragoshi walks on in.*

Metal Man: "Buckle Alexia to the bench so she doesn't fall off."

Metal Man (GM): There's many benches, with seatbelts. There's also a handful of old chairs.

Wolfman will just sink his claws into something that will hold him steady.

Glyph straps a seat belt around Alexia's neck.

Julian: *Takes a seat at a bench and buckles in.*

Glyph: "Good enough. Let's go go go."

Dragoshi: *Dragoshi then takes a seat at a bench, and buckles up, 'cause yes.*

Aaron, having slept through his alarm once more, joins the others. He belts in.

Darkdata does so.

Glyph does not.

Darkdata also buckles up after doing so for Alexia.

Alexia suddenly wakes up and starts scrabbling for the seatbelt's latch.

Julian: "...Aaron still WORKS here?"

Alexia: "ACK! CAN'T BREATHE!"

Glyph: "Yes! That's for that time you choked me!"

Alexia: *various strangled gurgling.*

Darkdata: "Alexia, you are bucked up,calm down. If you could not draw breath, you could not be able to talk."

Glyph: "Logic at its finest."

Dragoshi: "..."

Alexia: *suddenly calm.* "Oh, yeah."

Dragoshi: *Sighs.*

Alexia falls back asleep.

Julian: "Are we goin' or are we waitin' for the Void to catch up to us? Let's motor! C'mon!"

Metal Man: "Okay... let's see..." *presses some buttons.*

Metal Man (GM): There is a click... a whirr... And then... FWOOOSHHHHH. The ship takes off at full speed. The Questers begin to see the outer layers of the atmosphere. It has decent inertial dampening, but it feels like people are standing atop one's self in here.

Wolfman is hanging on... somehow.

Metal Man (GM): The seatbelts work, but the air's a bit stale. It's a smooth ride, thankfully, as Metal works the controls.

Metal Man: "Hm... it's a good thing I wired these controls myself. They all make sense to me."

Darkdata: "Wow, this is quite qui-- ah that explains it."

Metal Man (GM): Looking over his shoulder, one would see a backwards steering wheel, buttons with Russian labels that are upside down, and 'Copyright 250 Ivo Robotnik'

Dragoshi: "Yep..."

Metal Man (GM): It looks like a Russian space station fused with a Go-kart.

Metal Man: "Now... let's see... air conditioning!" *Flip.* The air is now not stale. And semi cool. "Now... just to review our target."

Wolfman: "...that helps."

Metal Man brings up the Angel Island on the viewscreen.

Metal Man: "I'll land it on the edge, which is a beach. You guys have to go through Angel Island Zone, first. Luckily Hydro City zone can be bypassed... Marble Garden Zone is a short way up, though. You'll have to climb a bit."

Glyph: "Good. I drown more times than I could count..."

Wolfman: "I can handle the water you know."

Metal Man: "Then take a shortcut through a zone nobody else bothers to go through... ah. Yes. I call it Sky High zone."

Julian: "Not a problem..."

Dragoshi: "That saves a lot of trouble. Bypassing Hydro City zone, I mean."

Metal Man: "Then you'll be at the Hidden Palace area itself. That's where Knuckles, and the whole apparatus which protects this place."

Wolfman: "...the Sky High Zone?"

Metal Man: "Yes. As it involves leaping between mysteriously solid clouds and surfing on floating platforms that have... appeared. Don't expect many robots, but there might be traps."

Dragoshi: "Ahh..."

Wolfman: "Don't you mean Sky Sanctuary?"

Metal Man: "Later on, The Void might try to invade. Nah. This is below that place."

Glyph: "Don't you mean Lava Reef?"

Metal Man: "Above that place. It's... in-between."

Wolfman: *shrugs.*

Metal Man: "Anyway. Once you have Knuckles, you've succeeded in... this mission."

Julian: "Whatever. All I need to know is where to go."

Metal Man: "Just don't get lost out there."

Glyph: "Oh, don't worry, I'm sure it'll be incredibly linear. Practically two dimensional."

Metal Man: "Easy. Walk inland from the fringe... Then climb up some steps... Then leap across some dangerous-looking clouds and platforms... Then leap down towards a cave. Of course, there's a lot of obstacles everywhere. I think the Echidnas didn't want us there... Ah. Here we are."

Metal Man (GM): Metal lands the ship... on thin air. The Questers see no island.

Wolfman: "Figures... aren't we always unwanted?"

Metal Man: "Apparently."

Julian: "Like I said. Not a proble-..."

Metal Man: "This is where they said it is."

Julian: "This might up the difficulty."

Metal Man: "Should I open the door?"

Glyph: "Awesome. I totally did this before."

Dragoshi: "...Invisible island?"

Julian: "Go for it..."

Glyph: "Yes. Open it."

Metal Man: "Well, he said it was only on the outside..." *flips open the door.*

Glyph immediately hops out.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone sees the island. Glyph leaps onto sand.

Darkdata walks out.

Aaron walks out.

Dragoshi: *Dragoshi walks on out as well.*

Julian: "...Whatever." *Heads out.*

Glyph: "...boring. The last floating sanctuary-fortress stayed invisible."

Metal Man (GM): This is a sandy beach. A river runs off of it and apparently off the island, too.

Wolfman sees the island... but makes sure that he's not going to step out into ocean... okay, sand. He gets out.

Metal Man (GM): The way ahead is clear: A path leads into a tropical forest. A dirt path, surrounded by signs in a language the Questers cannot normally comprehend.

Wolfman: "...this place feels similar to that Green Hill place."

Julian: "Well, let's go." *And we're walking... And translating that sign via Dex.*

Wolfman: "I almost want to run ahead."

Glyph: "Sounds like a plan. *runs a head.*

Dex: "Beware! Traps ahead."

Wolfman: "..."

Glyph loudly hums the Angel Island Zone theme.

Dex: "The Echidna Council has ruled that, since the day of Eggman, no visitors allowed!"

Wolfman: .oO(...I wonder if Glyph will run into a spike trap.)

Metal Man (GM): Glyph runs to a point... and then there's a wide pit and a bunch of swings hanging perilously over it. It's all spikes down below... and the way up has been blocked by rocks.

Glyph waits for the swing to get near and jumps on it without hesitation.

Darkdata walks to where Glyph is slowly.

Wolfman sees what Glyph is trying to do... .oO(...yep: very similar realm. Just some things different, and some things same.) He attempts to follow along with Glyph and catch a swing when there is room.

Dragoshi: *Following behind the others...*

Metal Man (GM): Glyph falls into the spikes. Ouch! Wolfman swings across.

Wolfman: .oO(...I knew it.) *lands safely.*

Glyph slowly pulls himself up.

Metal Man (GM): On the other side are a bunch of rocks that increase in size, next to a waterfall. Glyph climbs up the other side... with a few more holes than he used to have.

Wolfman: "Hmm..."

Darkdata does the same.

Julian: *Julian reaches the spike pit... and tries to jump across via swings.*

Wolfman attempts to see if there is something behind the rocks.

Metal Man (GM): Not really. The others get across.

Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi would also try to cross!*

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman find a stone switch as Aaron swings across ala Tarzan... with Dragoshi behind him.

Wolfman: "Hmm..." *press.*

Metal Man (GM): The three stones which increase in height turn on their sides, making a step... and smacking Wolf. The steps lead up to another level of this zone.

Julian: *Heads up the steps.*

Wolfman gets smacked, and leaps off the switch.

Metal Man (GM): There's another obstacle atop the steps.

Dragoshi: *Up the steps we go...*

Metal Man (GM): The path continues sideways and deeper into the island, yet that's down...

Wolfman will forget about the switch for now and continue on.

Metal Man (GM): To the left, across a gap, is a path that continues upwards.

Darkdata follows slowly, now wanting to get trapped.

Metal Man (GM): The gap is about 75 feet wide... and below it is the river. Of course, this is a forest. Plants of all kinds are everywhere.

Julian: *Julian flies across the gap with Rocket Boot action!*

Wolfman: "...I think I can make it across the gap."

Darkdata: "If only I could use magic, however I would call the Void."

Dragoshi: *Looks for vines?*

Darkdata: *Mumbles... one could here him cursing it.*

Wolfman goes towards the gap, leaps off at the last possible moments, mid-airs, and then uses Powered Flight to get to the other side. .oO(So this is what Knuckles feels like when he glides.)

Metal Man (GM): The vines need to be cut off first...

Dragoshi: *Cuts off a vine, then tries to hang on.*

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman makes it across.

Julian: *And Julian's across the pit, waiting for the others.*

Wolfman lands safely, and looks to see what is ahead.

Darkdata also grabs a cut vine, and tries to get across.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone gets across so far. The next area is simply a wide-open path between a lot of trees.

Wolfman goes for running then.

Darkdata also runs.

Julian: *More walkin'. 'Cause Running is hard.*

Metal Man (GM): A whole lot of arrows fly out of the trees and hit Wolfman.

Dragoshi: *Does some running as well. Whee.*

Metal Man (GM): Darkdata also is hit by arrows.

Wolfman gets knocked... forwards? backwards? sideways?

Darkdata: "Grah."

Julian: *Julian quickly switches to running upon seeing the arrows.*

Metal Man (GM): Wolf gest across; he's just full of arrows. Dragoshi outruns them. As does Julian.

Julian: *KA-ZOOM.*

Wolfman shakes off the arrows, dog style.

Darkdata pulls them out. "Ah oh ee alfjskldf."

Metal Man (GM): Aaron also runs away from the arrows. Simple so far, but now a massive boulder is in the way of the path.

Julian: *He checks how massive the boulder is.*

Metal Man (GM): It's too heavy for Aaron to grasp... it's about the size of a 5 story office building. Something big hit that mountain a while ago... probably the Death Egg.

Wolfman: "...alright, should we chop this boulder into pieces?"

Julian: "Better idea." *C4 Time!*

Wolfman stands back!

Aaron: "What's that you stuck to rock?"

Dragoshi: *As does Dragoshi...*

Darkdata hides behind a tree.

Dragoshi: "An explosive."

Aaron, seeing everyone else retreat, does the same.

Darkdata 's head pokes out. "It makes things go BOOOOOOOM." He re-hides.

Julian: *Julian connects the brick of C4 to the Boulder, primes it, and steps out of the blast radius with the detenator and sets it off.*

Metal Man (GM): *BLAMMO.* It explodes, revealing more steps up into the mountain... this is becoming almost like a mountain trail, but the palm trees are still everywhere.

Wolfman: "That works."

Julian: "BAM!" *Up we go!*

Wolfman moves on up.

Dragoshi: *Up the mountain we go...*

Darkdata does the same, being wary of arrows.

Metal Man (GM): The Questers soon reach a strange gap... and there's some sort of overhead hanging cart here, just sitting here. There's also a winch. Glyph would catch up to the Questers here.

Glyph: "I... hate... spike... traps."

Wolfman: "Welcome back Glyph."

Glyph starts winding the winch.

Wolfman: "Well... by the looks of things, we want to get on the car... hang on! Let us get on first!"

Metal Man (GM): It's a Ski lift. The winch would move it.

Glyph starts winching forwards and backwards recklessly.

Metal Man (GM): The cart moves forwards and backwards. Glyph gets a workout.

Wolfman: "Glyph, just try to winch in one direction. TOWARDS US!"

Glyph: "Cool. I'm in debug mode." *moves the cart back to where everyone is.*

Metal Man (GM): It moves to where everyone is; everyone can get aboard.

Wolfman gets on.

Julian: *Gets on the bus, Gus.*

Aaron hops on.

Darkdata gets on.

Julian: *Wait a sec... Gets off. He checks out how large the chasm is.*

Glyph: "Also, Darkdata can enchant the winch... probably.

Darkdata: "Magic calls The Void, we have to be careful."

Glyph: "And we can just climb on the vine-y thing."

Darkdata: "That is why I did not call a shield for those *wince* arrows."

Julian: "Or I can jus' fly across when you guys are on the other side."

Metal Man (GM): The chasm is quite long. It also twists up the side of the mountain.

Julian: "... Or not."

Glyph: "You have super strength, though, right?"

Wolfman checks to see how stable the overhead wire is above the lift.

Metal Man (GM): Very stable... recently replaced, even. Somebody definitely lives here.

Julian: "A'ight, everybody get on, I'll get you guys across."

Wolfman: "...you intend to walk across the overhead wire?"

Glyph hops on.

Julian: "Walk, crawl, marine hang, either or."

Wolfman gets on if he's not already.

Metal Man (GM): That'll be a bit tiring... everybody's on the cart by now.

Julian: *Annnnnnnd gentlemen start your winches.*

Glyph: "Did we leave Alexia back in the ship?"

Metal Man (GM): *Meanwhile, Metal is playing Solitaire as Alexia sleeps.* No Alexia here, at least, but... Julian is slowly pulling the cart up, so it's a bit too late to turn back now. The group is finally making some altitude... they see some shimmering just outside the island itself.

Wolfman sees a shimmer... wonder what it is.

Glyph requires all his resolve not to cast attack spells on whatever this shimmer may be immediately.

Metal Man (GM): After a while of pulling (and Julian becoming rather worn out), the Questers reach the Marble Garden zone area.

Wolfman gets a feel for the mountain air.

Julian: *Argh.*

Wolfman: "You alright Julian?"

Julian: *Argh, I said >:(*

Glyph: "Where's the blue spinny dealies?"

Wolfman: "The wha?"

Aaron looks to Julian. "You need lift?"

Glyph: "You know what I'm talking about."

Dragoshi: "Huh."

Wolfman: "...did you come from a universe where this place is a game or something?"

Glyph: "I dunno, exactly half your history logs say that it was also this universe."

Wolfman: "good point."

Glyph: "Then the Echidna said The Void made that up. I try not to dwell on it."

Metal Man (GM): There is, actually, several blue spinny things... ...and a rocky, impenetrable hill with which the Questers will need them to cross.

Wolfman gets a quick look at the area, seeing the right path.

Glyph jumps onto one of them and starts running.

Wolfman shrugs and does the same with another.

Dragoshi: *Does the same with another as well.*

Darkdata dittos them.

Julian: *Does the same, despite the whole 'oh god my arms' deal.*

Metal Man (GM): They float on up the cliff... hmm... they're hard to control.

Glyph: "I am king of the world! You hear me, endless forest? I own you!"

Darkdata: "Glyph, watch out for that spike trap below.

Metal Man (GM): Some wind blows by, and one can feel how high they are... that is, how thin the air is. The Questers soon reach a landing area... one surrounded by spikes!

Glyph: "Not this time, my pointy adversary!"

Julian: *Fuck you >:O*

Wolfman can't easily do that...

Metal Man (GM): Glyph bounces around like a hockey puck and lands on the ground, heavily wounded, but not dead. Meanwhile, everybody else lands normally. Even Aaron.

Glyph: "Argh! Now I know why Eggman hates this place so much!"

Julian: *And Julian fails. Surprise!*

Aaron tries to pluck a spike or two.

Glyph: "I will come back and I will drill it."

Metal Man (GM): No need to pull the spikes out; they come right out on their own. Julian crashes next to Glyph.

Glyph: "Good plan. Let's waste 'em." *starts picking up spikes and laying them harmlessly on their side. He also pockets as many as he can carry.*

Darkdata grabs one and stores it in his inventory.

Metal Man (GM): The Questers pick them all up; no more spikes left to stab people. However, they now see what Metal was talking about: There's a bunch of weird clouds and platforms just off to the side.

Wolfman: "...there is our destination." *judges the distance.*

Glyph kneels down in the newly despiked area and cries out in agony. "Whyyyyyyyy?! Plaaaaatforms?!" *weeps.*

Metal Man (GM): Only ten feet. Anyone can walk onto one of the clouds.

Julian: *Walkin'.*

Glyph pulls himself together.

Wolfman will walk onto a cloud... test the weight.

Metal Man (GM): It... feels solid.

Glyph: "Well, at least I'll get to die falling out of the sky. That's always a pretty cool way to go."

Julian: *And we're jumping too..*

Glyph walks out onto the platform with Wolfman.

Wolfman is somehow... on a cloud. "Well, this is certainly uplifting."

Glyph: "Don't jinx it."

Dragoshi: *Nods.*

Julian: "It's a platform."

Wolfman: "There is nothing TO Jinx: this cloud is not going to suddenly disappear on us."

Darkdata: "I wish I could use magic."

Glyph: "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!"

Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk... weird... the cloud seems to change... *BOING.* They all fly upwards all of a sudden.

Darkdata: "Arg." *Walks onto the platform.

Wolfman continues to move... woah: he got Springed!

Julian: "Wha-WHOA!" *Whoosh!*

Metal Man (GM): Through several clouds and off some pinball bumpers. *BOING* *BOING.*

Glyph: "Life is agony!"

Wolfman goes into somersaults.

Julian: *Ow my face!*

Metal Man (GM): 100 points! 50 points! 23 points! Wait... what the heck are points going to do for you? *BOING.*

Wolfman attempts to steer himself towards a stable platform.

Metal Man (GM): A few minutes of flying around in the air and hearing bouncing noises and hitting things, the Questers fall out of the air and land in a pile of dirt.

Julian: *poomf.*

Metal Man (GM): Hm. That wasn't as long as Metal said.

Darkdata: "@_@ That was not fun."

Glyph picks himself up out of the dirt.

Metal Man (GM): But he apparently didn't bother to warn anyone about aerial pinball.

Wolfman: "I actually enjoyed some of that." *shakes the dirt off of him.*

Metal Man (GM): YThere is the Master Emerald, and Knuckles drinking something while lounging on some steps.

Dragoshi: .oO(Wiggeh.)

Glyph: "You!"

Julian: "Hate these stages..." *Julian gets back to his feet. Where we at no-* "Bingo."

Wolfman sees Knuckles... and bows to him.

Glyph: "Do you have any idea what your island put me through?"

Julian: "Yo! Knuckles! We need some help."

Knuckles: "...Not you again." He sets down the drink. "What do you want now?" He turns to Glyph... and begins laughing.

Darkdata: "Knuckles, kill sonic next time he does not let you talk about the defense systems."

Knuckles: "I'm sorry, but those were supposed to keep The Void away."

Glyph: "RWAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

Darkdata shakes off the dizzyness."

Glyph casts Fire.

Wolfman: "...I actually liked the diversion. ...GLYPH!"

Julian: "We're lookin' for some guy called the Sealer. You know anythin' about that?"

Metal Man (GM): He punches away the fire idly, like it's a joke.

Glyph casts Ice.

Wolfman: "Glyph, CEASE!"

Glyph casts Bolt.

Wolfman: .oO(I try to show respect, and THIS is what I have to put up with?!?) "...I'll keep that in mind for the future then, Knuckles."

Knuckles: "Allow m--" He punches the bolt away and then knocks Glyph unconscious with another punch.

Glyph: "Hate."

Julian: "Thank you. Now, about my question..."

Glyph falls unconscious.

Dragoshi: "...Yea."

Knuckles: *Dusts himself off.* "You're lucky I didn't have my shovel claw on... otherwise he might have died."

Wolfman: "Wise Knuckles, we were told you know where the mystical one known as "The Sealer" is located. Can you please lend us some of your wisdom?"

Knuckles: "The Sealer... hmmm... well of course, it SOUNDS familiar... but the elders told me so much... how can I possibly remember it all?"

Julian: .oO(WISE Knuckles, that's funny.) "Because alla creation depends on us findin' this guy?"

Knuckles: "Sealer... Sealer... well... that's a good question."

Metal Man (GM): He paces a bit, nearly stepping on Glyph a couple times.

Darkdata: "Because you are so great that you would never forget."

Knuckles: "Yes... there is definitely one of those... somewhere... Did he give a description?"

Wolfman tries to recall... of course, faulty memory and all...

Knuckles: *Turns to Dragoshi while Wolfman thinks.* "... Psst... hey Dragoshi... I think Wolf comes from a dimension that's big on musical theater, if you know what I mean."

Dragoshi: "..." *Facepalm.*

Wolfman: .oO(...was he supposed to be a big guy?)

Julian: "Don't think he did. Elder didn't even know what he or she looked like."

Wolfman: "All I can recall is that this is a 'big ol' Sealer who would fix everything...'"

Wolfman: "...and a great hand that holds the world."

Julian: "I think that was more metaphorical than anythin'."

Dragoshi: "Yea, prolly'."

Julian: "Unless there's this 3rd Hand we never knew about."

Knuckles: "Meta... metawhat? Oh. A hand?"

Wolfman: "I doubt it's Master or Crazy Hand."

Knuckles: "I happen to see two hands."

Wolfman: "...well, those 'two' would fit the description."

Knuckles: "That doesn't really narrow it down, though. I need to know exactly WHAT the thing you're looking for does."

Wolfman strains to recall more then.

Knuckles: "Otherwise it could be many other hands, besides the two I see. Like... anybody's hands. Anywhere. And that doesn't help anyone."

Aaron's mind is lost in space, again.

Wolfman: "...what hands do you know of that can hold up the world, Knuckles?"

Knuckles: "If you found that disk, then clearly you're looking for one of the legends... but there's so many of them. Hm... a Sealer which is a hand which holds up the world? Aha! I have it... The... Master Hand?"

Dragoshi: *Then let Dragoshi take a crack of recalling things, then... Or not, if Knuckles already knows.*

Wolfman: "... ...I WAS RIGHT!"

Glyph shifts a little.

Knuckles: "No, that's gotta be wrong." He looks at the glyphs. "...It all checks out, though. Call me foolish, but I think you're looking for a big white glove who has strange powers."

Julian: "Can't be. Elder said it WASN'T Master Hand."

Wolfman: "The Elder didn't know the name."

Julian: "He knew it wasn't Master Hand."

Wolfman: "Master Hand technically can fit the description..."

Dragoshi: *Might as well do his attempt to recall more about what this thing we're looking for can do, so yea.* *check.

Knuckles: "Look, if you want a hand, then you're going to have to look around. Because he's well hidden."

Dragoshi: "Well, Wolf might be on the right track. As the guy who said 'I know him not' didn't say that it was not Master Hand, but he didn't know the guy... But, anyway..."

Wolfman: "...I do believe it's Master and Crazy Hand."

Dragoshi: "Woah, woah. Wolf."

Knuckles: "Crazy? No. He's... different."

Dragoshi: "He said 'Hand', not 'Hands.'"

Wolfman: "...then Master."

Knuckles: "Only one Hand. The Sealer. The Master Hand has some seals about him."

Wolfman: "Alright, so we know our target."

Knuckles: "And not the kind that bark. This isn't comedy hour."

Julian: "Hand, bein' singular. An' if we're lookin' for Master Hand... Just so happens I got a Rain Check on the back-end of my Trial from him."

Knuckles: "Now if you want to go there... Unfortunately, you will not be able to go to that trial, Julian. I sense it myself... the world it landed on has probably ceased to exist. At least, all the keys and magical artifacts vanished a few moments ago..."

Julian: "Whoop-dee-fuckin'-doo. I'm sayin' we can use it to find him."

Knuckles: "Now. I see... a tower... yes. The Hand is at a tower. There is... some strange energy about this tower."

Dragoshi: "The strange energy, being...?"

Knuckles: "I keep on thinking of somebody with a strange hairstyle." He looks at Julian. "Do you know any people with weird hairstyles who live in old towers?"

Wolfman: "...old hairstyles..." *tries to picture... Dr. Archel?*

Darkdata: "Weird, not old."

Knuckles: "I can't really think of what this energy is. It looks all strange. In fact, I can't see much, because it keeps on changing things around it..."

Metal Man (GM): He holds his head.

Dragoshi: "Changing things... Like reality?"

Knuckles: "Ow... I hate this Hand... it has something seriously wrong near it."

Julian: "...Could be Dr. Archie."

Dragoshi: "Is this thing that's seriously wrong in a tower that's inside a dome?"

Knuckles: "That's all I can see. It's like staring into the sun, and I don't want to blind my senses. Otherwise I won't be able to find the keys to the vault below anymore!"

Dragoshi: "...Oh. I see."

Knuckles: "Whatever it is, it should be very powerful. Any large power thing would do it."

Aaron wanders about, grabbing anything to use as a set of dumbbells.

Wolfman: "...I do think you are right Dragoshi."

Knuckles: "Now... there's another problem."

Julian: "A'ight, looks like we're headin' back to the abandoned Military complex."

Knuckles: "Your friend hurled around a lot of magic here. The Void can taste magic from a million miles away."

Dragoshi: "So, the Void'll be coming, right?"

Darkdata: "Much to my annoyedness."

Knuckles: "And you also played that message. Not only is he coming... ...he's outside the perimeter of the island right now."

Dragoshi: "...Well, this is just great."

Julian: "...So we'll be leavin'."

Knuckles: "But we don't have to worry. All we need to do is turn up the field!" He digs in the ground, revealing a hatch. "Oh no you won't. He'll blow you up if he sees you. Even I wouldn't try to attack him as he is now. But we can distract him if we can get down here."

Metal Man (GM): He bangs on the door... it doesn't open.

Knuckles: "Just great. Tails puts in the door, and forgets to make it openable from the outside! Could you guys do something about this? Everything of his I touch seems to break."

Metal Man (GM): The island rumbles.

Julian: *C4 Time!*

Wolfman: "I don't think being delicate is something we should be worrying about here!" *just felt a rumble.*

Knuckles: "...Are you SURE you know what you're doing? That looks dangerous."

Julian: "You got any better ideas?"

Knuckles: "...No."

Metal Man (GM): He stands back.

Wolfman stands back.

Dragoshi: *Stands back as well.*

Aaron retreats with the others.

Darkdata hides behind ye old tree. If that is not there a Quester.

Metal Man (GM): No trees, but the steps themselves can be hidden behind.

Darkdata does so.

Julian: *Sets up the C4...* *Sets it off!*

Metal Man (GM): *BLAM.* A ladder is revealed downwards into some sort of mechanical base.

Dragoshi: *QUICKLY climbs down ze ladder.*

Knuckles: "Tails outdid himself on this one... ...we better hurry!" He leaps down it after Dragoshi.

Wolfman also follows.

Julian: *Down ze hole!*

Darkdata does the same.

Metal Man (GM): The Questers climb down into a virtual command center. There's three monitors and a number of controls. Knuckles stares at it blankly.

Julian: "..." *Examine!*

Knuckles: "...Gee... I really could have used Tails right now... I have no CLUE how to use this."

Dragoshi: *Runs over to them and looks for an On switch or something.*

Aaron, at the end of the queue, climbed downward.

Wolfman wonders what we've entered this time.

Metal Man (GM): It's already on. The Questers see the same complex defense field as they did before. The Void is detected a number of feet outside the island, hurling shots occasionally at the field. He's trying to find the frequency so he can cancel it out. Frighteningly, he's getting very close.

Dragoshi: *Okay. What now, then?*

Metal Man (GM): However, the Questers see a knob to change the frequency. It has a sticky note on it. 'Turn in case of The Void'

Wolfman reads the sticky note.

Julian: *Turn that knob!*

Wolfman goes to... okay, knob was turned.

Dragoshi: *Decides to turn the frequency, Kenne-Nevermind.*

Metal Man (GM): It is turned... The Void's angry voice faintly transmits into the bunker.

The Void: "You cannot stop me, Questers! I have the power of an entire solar system!"

Metal Man (GM): *BLAMBLAMBLAMBLBAM.*

Dragoshi: "...so?"

Knuckles: "Oh cr---...Tails said something like this might happen."

Wolfman: "Where IS Tails anyway?"

Dragoshi: *Ah, the quintessential question.* "Okay. Then what was his advice for such a situation?"

Knuckles: "If he can't get in, he's going to knock this place into something else that can."

Aaron: "Yeah, me starving."

Dragoshi: "..."

Aaron glares at Dragoshi.

Wolfman: "...hold out a little longer if you can Aaron."

Knuckles: "The Void already got both Tails and Sonic. He thought I was not worth tricking, as I'm supposedly gullible... but he was wrong about that, of course! We don't have either to rely on right now, calling them would give away our position."

Darkdata: "Knuckles, your Velcro shoes are untied."

Knuckles: "We need something to distract that guy so you can get clear. They are?" He looks down and hits his head on the counter. "OW! Don't do that again, you little..." He shakes a fist at Darkdata.

Wolfman chuckles.

Knuckles: "There is another possibility, but it's risky."

Dragoshi: "Darkdata, now is not the time for screwing around."

Julian: "Shoot."

Wolfman stops chuckling.

Knuckles: "Of course, he told me risky business w... you sure? Really? He told me I shouldn't do it."

Wolfman: "Try us anyway."

Dragoshi: *Tries to think of something that can distract Mr. Voidy McDeathRays.*

Knuckles: "He was studying this weird teleportation technology old Gerald had made. Somewhere in the code there was a reference to The Void. It then said something about... uhhh... Yes. Ice! If we hit him with ice, he'd slow down a little! ...But where do we get ice? I mean, we could go out there, but it's getting turbulent."

Wolfman: "...Dragoshi, your turn to get out of thinking mode!"

Dragoshi: "...I can cast Ice Tornado." >_>

Knuckles: "The problem is, you have to hit him."

Dragoshi: "But, that'd require us to get outside, so yea."

Knuckles: "Tails left his plane... oops. Shouldn't have said that."

Julian: "He'd be pretty hard to miss-Plane you say?"

Dragoshi: "...Where'd he leave it?"

Knuckles: "Uh... yes. No plane. None at all."

Darkdata: "Heh, I can amplify the ice."

Julian: "Where is it?"

Dragoshi: "...Stop screwing around."

Wolfman: "Knuckles, don't try to get out of this one."

Knuckles: *He whistles innocently.* "Tails... sort of loves his planes. It'd be a tragedy if you crashed one."

Dragoshi: "Just tell us where the damned plane is."

Julian: "Tails don't exactly EXIST anymore. Where's the plane?"

Knuckles: "More importantly, I'd be in trouble for revealing it was in the hanger beneath our feet! ...Oops..."

Wolfman: "I think using the plane to rescue Tails is more important."

Dragoshi: "...Does it matter? It's a friggin' cr-..."

Julian: *Looks for door to said hangar.*

Aaron, already having exhausted what shame he has, begins to sing to put off the Void.

Metal Man (GM): There's one on the floor.

Dragoshi: *Goes to open up any pathways to said hangar... By assisting Julian.*

Julian: *Into the hangar!* "Lata sucka!" *Whoosh.*

Wolfman: "...you alright Knuckles?"

Dragoshi: "Adios!" *Into the hangar as well! Whee...*

Darkdata follows.

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, The Void readies to attack when he hears Aaron's singing all the way inside the booth.

The Void: "Agh! My non-existent ears! I will have to destroy this horrible island TWICE AS MUCH for that!"

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, everyone else finds the plane.

Darkdata: "Aaron, sing Barney."

Wolfman: "..." *steps out of EVERYONE'S way.*

Aaron: "Uhh... what?"

Metal Man (GM): It's a two seater, with room on the wings to stand. Knuckles hangs his head in sorrow.

Aaron hops in. It shakes a bit.

Dragoshi: "I should prolly' stand on one of the wings, right?"

Knuckles: "Knew I shouldn't have told them... they even have a person who looks like Big on their team!"

Wolfman: "Told us what Knuckles? I didn't leave yet."

Julian: *Julian leaps into the Pilot's seat and gears up for takeoff.*

Knuckles: "Oh, the plane and all."

Wolfman: "It's a little too late for that."

Dragoshi: *And Drag won't be in a seat due to being needed to slow The Void down.*

Darkdata: "Aaron, get out, I need to amp Dragoshi's power."

Knuckles: "Exactly! Tails will never give me anything useful again!"

Dragoshi: *So, yea. He's gonna be standing on a wing.*

Julian: "Do it." *Looks for a hangar-bay door opening device.*

Knuckles: "Even if you do save him from being a mindless guy hiding in a town on a weird planet..."

Wolfman: "I'll do what I can. But for now, do you need me to be at the plane, or in here?"

Metal Man (GM): Julian finds one right on the dash of the plane.

Darkdata: "Julian can you get Aaron out?"

Knuckles: "Uh... please... if you bring the plane back, I'll give you rings!"

Aaron hops out and stands on a wing, right in the center.

Knuckles: "Because I certainly won't have any if I have to pay to repair it..."

Darkdata gets in.

Metal Man (GM): The wing barely holds the weight of Aaron.

Knuckles: "Don't put too much weight on it! It'll... collapse like tin foil!"

Wolfman: "...Aaron has just left."

Knuckles: "Like what happened the other time."

Wolfman: "I'm a bit heavy myself, so I can't go on the plane."

Dragoshi: *So... When does our AWESOME PLANE SCENE start?*

Julian: "...Aaron, get off! I only need people who can shoot Ice, an' you ain't that person?"

Knuckles: "Also, somebody told me to keep snakes off of it. I could see that, but why snakes?"

Wolfman: "...it's a LONG story."

Aaron jumps off.

Dragoshi: "...'Cause they might have an Oedipal complex? Hell if I know." :/

Knuckles: "Odi-what?"

Glyph drops down 50 feet into the base.

Wolfman: "Right now, Knuckles, Aaron and myself at least need to know what to do since we won't be flying."

Metal Man (GM): The plane is ready for takeoff.

Dragoshi: "Not gonna explain."

Glyph: "Rrrgh..."

Dragoshi: "Glyph. You can cast Ice, right?"

Knuckles: "Hmm... oh. Hello again, Mr. Doom us all with magic. Do you feel like an encore?"

Glyph: "If you keep talking, sure."

Dragoshi: "Well, apparently ice can slow the Void down."

Julian: "Also, Drago, take this." *Julian reaches into the confines of his vest... and takes out the Ice Rod! Wow, that's been there for a while.* "Use it at the same time you fire off the Ice Tornado."

Knuckles: "Because we have a world-destroying monster about ready to cut loose and kill us all if you don't hang onto the back of that plane!"

Dragoshi: *Takes it and nods.* "Understood."

Metal Man (GM): The island rumbles again. A small avalanche can be heard in the distance.

Julian: "An' let's roll!" *Julian opens up the hangar doors and revs the engine!*

Dragoshi: *And Drag gets ready...*

Darkdata: "I will be ready to cast the amp spell."

Knuckles: "There goes part of Ice Cap Zone..."

Wolfman merely watches the rest of the Questers fly off... He is stuck with Aaron, Knuckles, and maybe Glyph.

Metal Man (GM): The hangar doors open, and the plane flies off. Knuckles crosses his arms.

Glyph: "Eh, screw it."

Knuckles: "Why is it that all of you act like Sonic? I mean, you could think before rushing into things. Like I do."

Metal Man (GM): He points to himself, unaware of the irony.

Aaron: "Me not know how to think."

Wolfman: "I do not have a good answer for you Knuckles. However, we are putting our faith into head rushers."

Metal Man (GM): He leans on the panel... as the Questers left behind can see the others flying.

Wolfman: "...let us hope they don't get too much brain damage."

Glyph: "I ain't. If I put any faith into 'em I'd be out there fighting my prospective employer."

Metal Man (GM): Outer Rim of Floating Island. Several Questers fly out to the rim on the biplane, and see the monstrous form of The Void. A dark, gaseous complexion with huge red eyes, and a gaping mouth that could eat the plane for lunch. He's firing a number of powerful attacks on the outside of the island. He sees the Questers coming and laughs, not even turning to attack them.

The Void: "You call that a counter-attack? I'm not even going to stop you! You're just a bunch of solar dust!"

Metal Man (GM): He slams the field, rocking the entire island, as the Questers fly into range of his face.

Julian: *Julian flies straight towards the Void while Dragoshi's prepping the attack, aiming to veer along side him at the last minute to avoid collision.*

Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi's about to strike him with both the Ice Rod and Ice Tornado. ...After Darkdata casts Amplify on Dragoshi, first. >_>*

Metal Man (GM): Julian holds out the ice rod...

The Void: "Wa ha ha ha... another artifact? Why thank you!"

Metal Man (GM): It suddenly freezes Dragoshi's arms together and flies out of his grip. The ice is growing, too.

Dragoshi: *...not very smart to do that against one who can breath fire. :p*

Darkdata: "Shatter the ice! Or wait, Dragoshi, you have fire, melt it." *yelling.*

Dragoshi: *Though, he's breathing at a rate that'll melt it instead of causing it to explode.*

Metal Man (GM): The Void doesn't seem to have a brain. Hmmm... must be because his head is hard to comprehend, even with 3 dimensions.

Julian: "Do SOMETHIN'! I'm runnin' out of airspace!"

Metal Man (GM): It continually grows, keeping up with Dragoshi melting it.

The Void: "Yes! Crash into my face! Then I can eat you for dinner! A bit cold... a bit raw... but I'm not picky!"

Darkdata: *Pure Clearsong.* "THE ICE IS IMPURE, Remove it from Dragoshi!"

Metal Man (GM): Darkdata's magic frees Dragoshi.

Julian: "SHOOT HIM NOW!"

Darkdata: "DO IT NOW DRAGOSHI!"

The Void: "Gah! More hideous music! Make it stop!"

Dragoshi: "...You are so going to pay for that. ICE TORNADO!" *And, suddenly Dragoshi strikes the Void with the frozen tornado of ice!*

Darkdata: *Amplify.* "Ice bright Morning Night, now in the air winter is coming, cold chilly wind, covering the hills and valleys. Aid us in our task, the void must not come to pass, power the ice make is strong, else, we may not be able to stop darkness."

Metal Man (GM): It's akin to firing a small building of ice at The Void. It hits him in the face, freezing one of his eyes over. He stares at the Questers.

The Void: "What is the meaning of this? How dare you attempt to use my only weakness against me? I'll smash you into tiny pieces, you fleas!"

Dragoshi: "...Yea. We dare."

Julian: *Julian quickly veers away as Dragoshi fires the Ice Tornado, yelling.* "HANG ON!" *As Julian barrel-rolls to keep the plane balanced and fly AWAY from the Void.*

Metal Man (GM): He swings one of his tower-like arms at the plane. It's like evading the Empire State Building.

Darkdata: "The ice on his face, is an enchantment all the same, expand on grow, our powerful ice flow!"

Metal Man (GM): The Questers fly out of the way as The Void's swing rattles and causes the plane to spin once to escape... it threatens to knock some people off!

Dragoshi: *Success*

Metal Man (GM): He holds his eye as it grows, and another eye over one of his ears.

Dragoshi: "...Anyway. How about another!?" *And, lo and behold Drago casts another Ice Tornado on the Void.*

Metal Man (GM): Darkdata is shaken out of his seatbelt and is holding onto the side of the seat with both arms, as the Questers fly away. The other one is out of range; it harmlessly hits his arm. He shakes it off, and punches himself in the eye.

Julian: *And Julian makes a successful U-Turn! Hooray for Star Fox 64.*

The Void: "OW! ...Good enough."

Metal Man (GM): He shakes his face.

Darkdata: "Help me in." *attempts to pull himself up.*

The Void: "What do you think I am, Andross? I know what you're doing!"

Dragoshi: "..." *And, Dragoshi attempts to once again cast another Ice tornado while Void is wasting his time talking. :p ...If he's even in range that is.*

Metal Man (GM): Darkdata flies on off and loses a life. The Void laughs as Darkdata respawns. The Void is now distracted, however...

Darkdata: "Eat me. In fact, Dragoshi cast another ice..."

Metal Man (GM): Back at base. Knuckles stares at the pictures.

Wolfman gets a look at everything.

Knuckles: "We need to do something!"

Wolfman: "I do agree with that... but what?"

Knuckles: "They can't beat him alone... he took that death ray like it was nothing!"

Wolfman: "...can you use the Master Emerald for help?"

Knuckles: "No. He'd turn it against me. While he's distracted... you're smart, Wolf. Look at the console for something!"

Wolfman: .oO(ME, SMART?!?)

Metal Man (GM): Wolf discovers Dominoes Pizza.

Wolfman tries AGAIN!

Metal Man (GM): An old slice is laying on the floor... As Wolf finds an old shoe on the floor atop it.

Wolfman: "...Aaron, you gave me your hunger!"

Knuckles: "...So that's where my pizza slice went!"

Metal Man (GM): Glyph, meanwhile, finds a number of controls which are linked to... missiles.

Wolfman: "I'm sorry, but I'm not as smart as I wish I was." *turns to Glyph.*

Metal Man (GM): Lots of red buttons... he might want to push them.

Wolfman: "...Knuckles, that clown has found us some missiles."

Glyph: "Found a thingy." *mashes all of them simultaneously.*

Knuckles: *Picks up the pizza and eats it.* "Mmmphm mmmph what? Oh."

Metal Man (GM): Back outside...

The Void: "And now, to laser you into oblivi---"

Metal Man (GM): A bunch of missiles explode into his face.

The Void: "Arghhhhhh!!!!!"

Darkdata: "More ice Dragoshi?"

The Void: "You foolish ants! I cannot be killed by your bites!"

Julian: "FIRE!"

Metal Man (GM): This gives the Questers an opening to fire again.

Julian: "Or, Ice. Whatever!"

Dragoshi: *Casts another Ice Tornado on the Void!* "AND SOME MORE!"

Darkdata: *More amp.* "... Cover the hills and ..."

Dragoshi: "Yanno, Void. You make a real nice target to unleash my rage out on."

Metal Man (GM): He's hit by more ice, this time in the mouth.

The Void: "Youl attalk cawlnowt hawlt meeee!"

Dragoshi: "..."

Metal Man (GM): He spits the ice back at the Questers!

Dragoshi: *Is trying is hardest not to laugh... Until he sees the ice.* "...oh crap."

Metal Man (GM): They veer out of the way as the iceberg-shaped ice collides into Sandopolis below.

Julian: *Julian barrel-rolls to the left! Woo!*

The Void: "That's it. You die NOW!"

Darkdata: "Dragoshi, more ICE."

Metal Man (GM): The Ice wand appears again and creates a wall of ice to protect The Void.

The Void: "You'll regret using my little ice stick... oh you will ever regret it."

Darkdata: "Fool, ELEMENTAL CONTROL CLEARSONG! Bring the ice back onto the void!"

Metal Man (GM): *PING.*

The Void: "You doubt my powers over ice? I will freeze you like all the others."

Dragoshi: "..." *Tries to figure out if he can destroy the ice stick with his fire breath.*

Darkdata: "Dragoshi, we need to combo his arse, when we get the chance."

Dragoshi: "...Julian. Fly at the Ice Rod. We need to destroy it first."

Julian: *Flying at the Ice Rod...*

The Void: "I'm reminded of that little fox... oh how he shot at me with those pitiful bombs... did he really think Gerald's technology would backfire at me?"

Metal Man (GM): The rod spins and opens fire at the Questers with a machinegun of ice... But it also threatens the person on the wing...

Julian: *FUCK.*

Darkdata: "Maybe, I can, MIRROR!"

The Void: "Your luck has run out now, Julian! I break your Golden Rule into a million pieces!"

Dragoshi: *HOW TYPICAL.*

Metal Man (GM): The mirror blocks half of them, but the other half shoots up the plane and deals damage to Dragoshi. The wand recharges...

Darkdata: "Attack that wand!"

Metal Man (GM): Even The Void can't overuse it without it busting.

Darkdata: "I will boost your power."

Metal Man (GM): And it's red hot from his insanely overpowered ice machinegun.

Darkdata: "Dragoshi, you know what to do, FIRE."

The Void: "Hmmm... in retrospect, I should have given you the emeralds for this fight. Then I could simply remote control you to your deaths."

Dragoshi: "..." *And, what does Dragoshi do against that goddamn wand. He attempts to overheat it even more with his fire breath!*

Darkdata: *amp.*

Metal Man (GM): The wand explodes into a million pieces.

Dragoshi: "Where is your cheap ice wand now, Void!?"

The Void: "Pft. You have only destroyed my toothpick! Feast upon an entire building!"

Metal Man (GM): He rips out a giant temple from Sandopolis and hurls it at the Questers, taking the ice shield with it.

Darkdata: "You will be the cabbage upon which we freeze the farmland void!"

Metal Man (GM): It's now raining an entire temple and millions of ice plates.

Dragoshi: "...what.

Metal Man (GM): Better fly fast.

Dragoshi: "...Okay. This is just ridiculous."

Julian: "Christ!" *Get the hell out of the way!*

Darkdata: "Crap, I better help, Mirror!"

Metal Man (GM): The Questers dive down via the biplane. The Void curses as the entire temple misses them. Meanwhile, in the base...

Wolfman: "Alright, we helped a bit, but we can do more, right?"

Knuckles: "By Chaos... he's gonna destroy the whole island if this keeps up! There has to be something we can do to move it away while they do this..."

Glyph: "You could drop Ice Cap Zone on him. Nobody will miss it."

Knuckles: "Except Sonic... he snowboards there all the time. Although I hate it myself."

Glyph: "Yes, well, don't you remember all those times he fought you?"

Wolfman: "...personally, I like Glyph's idea."

Knuckles: "Yes." *Shakes his fist.* "Almost as annoying as Dr. Eggman..."

Glyph: "He's kinda a jerk. Now drop Ice Cap Zone on The Void."

Knuckles: "But how are we to crash it into him?"

Wolfman: "Can we drop the Ice Cap Zone? ...can you use Chaos Control?"

Knuckles: "We don't have any dangerous flying missiles to launch it with. Chaos... control?"

Glyph searches for a detach or move type control.

Knuckles: "Do I look like a ball of angst to you?"

Glyph: "Drop Ice Cap Zone, Drop Ice Cap Zone... gotta be on here somewhere."

Wolfman: .oO(...sometimes.)

Knuckles: "I can only control with the Master Emerald, and The Void would simply deflect that at us."

Glyph: "Let's just ram him."

Wolfman: "...right."

Glyph: "Ice Cap Zone side up."

Knuckles: "The island can move, but I don't know where the controls are..."

Wolfman: "...Glyph has found them."

Metal Man (GM): Glyph found them... only one problem. What kind of person knows how to pilot an entire island???

Knuckles: "Oh. There they are! ...Tails never showed me how to use them..."

Aaron searches for something to use for a dartboard with his rock spikes.

Metal Man (GM): Back on the outside...

The Void: "And now, behold my ultimate attack!"

Metal Man (GM): He goes to attack... ...then the whole island flies at the biplane the Questers are in.

The Void: "...Why didn't I think of that first?"

Dragoshi: "...I don't know."

Wolfman: "You are an idiot Glyph!"

Darkdata: "Because you were too busy using the ice rod of doom."

Julian: "WHAT THE FU-" *Dodge the island!*

Glyph: "I prefer to think of myself as a 'traitor.'"

Dragoshi: "...This is going to be one of the weirdest moments ever."

Wolfman: "TRAITOR?!?"

Julian: *LOLFUCK.*

Metal Man (GM): Julian clips a wing. Smoke comes out. Apparently it hard to dodge an entire island. The Void laughs, but the island keeps coming...

Darkdata: "Restore Clearsong!"

The Void: "Wait a minute... it wasn't aimed at the----"

Julian: *Fly away! FLY AWAY!*

Metal Man (GM): *SMACK.*

Dragoshi: "Yea. Your laughing isn't going to last long, Void."

Metal Man (GM): He's hit in the face by all of Ice Cap.

Glyph: "Damn it. So I can't spin this to say I was helping The Void all along."

Darkdata: "Ooh, that was cool."

The Void: "Gahhh!!! My beautiful face! Now there's a giant, hideous mountain icecap in it!"

Dragoshi: "...I think it makes you look better."

The Void: "It's like the opposite of a Twinkie!"

Wolfman: "As soon as we get done with this, we're going to have a word with you."

Glyph would be getting out and casting Ice ASAP.

Julian: "Shoot him now! He's weak!"

Dragoshi: "..." *Anyway, Dragoshi would ICE TORNADO Void. Again.*

Metal Man (GM): The Void's busy being blinded and clawing at the ice.

Julian: *Tries to avoid contact with the Void as best he can while keeping Drago in range.*

Darkdata would boost again.

Metal Man (GM): The Void's right above the outside of the hangars inside the base. After all, Glyph flew the whole island at him. Glyph ices his tongue to a pole.

Wolfman HAS to laugh at this situation.

Glyph: "Habe."

Wolfman: "...that is SO worth it."

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, The Void becomes solid ice. Oddly, this fixes his vision.

The Void: "Hah! Freezing me solid has changed NOTHING! I will now..."

Dragoshi: "...A giant Void-sicle."

Metal Man (GM): He begins falling.

Wolfman doesn't have any Ice moves to use... huh?

Dragoshi: "...Except your body mass."

The Void: "...Nooooooooo!!!!!!"

Metal Man (GM): He falls into the ocean below. The island takes off.

Dragoshi: "That should keep him occupied..."

Julian: "...K, think we're done here."

Knuckles: "That should... take care of him... but is the Biplane in one piece?"

Wolfman: "...I don't know. Just try not to be too mad if it is."

Metal Man (GM): Glyph remains stuck.

Julian: "Looks like it. We're still in the air."

Wolfman bites Glyph and attempts to drag him off of the pole.

Knuckles: "I'm more afraid of Sonic's reaction to the top of that mountain being destroyed... Where is he going to race Tails with a snowboard now?"

Metal Man (GM): Wolfman rips Glyph off the pole. Unfortunately, that also takes a small piece of the top layer of tongue flesh off with it. VERY painful.

Knuckles: "Now, let's see... that plane.." He looks at the readout. "100 coins should do it."

Metal Man (GM): He sees Glyph dead on the ground.

Knuckles: "...100 rings that should probably be used on... him?"

Wolfman: "...oops. I was a little hard..."

Metal Man (GM): The plane comes in for a landing.

Wolfman: "...yeah Knuckles. If it will give Glyph another chance, do so."

Aaron: "What happen?"

Julian: "A'ight, I'm pullin' back into the Hangar. Clear the way." *Julian does another U-Turn and heads back into the hangar, with the Star Fox 64 MISHION COMPRETE music playing in the background.*

Knuckles: "OK... just don't blame me if your teammates would rather have an extra life."

Metal Man (GM): He dumps them on Glyph, who is healed, then revived.

Glyph gets the taste of pole out of his mouth.

Wolfman: "...you alright? I got you off of the pole, but I think I was a little too strong."

Knuckles: "I'd have given you more, but you kind of crashed it into a tree once or twice... and then there's all those icy holes... and the wet part over there..."

Glyph: "I just know I am going to regret the side I have chosen today."

Knuckles: "...Gee. You fly slightly better than Big the Cat. Sorta like Sonic would. Now... do you need anything else? The Void will be back, and you probably should leave before he returns."

Wolfman: "...seek the tower with strange energy, find the Master Hand."

Knuckles: "He's after you. And maybe me... but probably not. He doesn't believe I'm useful."

Wolfman: "Are we forgetting anything?"

Glyph: "Yeah. Mural."

Wolfman: "Mural?"

Knuckles: "Mural... oh... there's lots of those. Which one?"

Glyph: "We didn't come here to learn what we already know: the hand is Master Hand."

Darkdata: "yes, Knuckles, your dreadlocks are undone."

Glyph: "We came to learn what that last missing mural was."

Wolfman: "...right."

Julian: *Julian parks the plane and jumps out.* "Warp out would be nice. Infact, if you could take us directly to the Military base... and the Mural. The one that y'know, tells us who the Sealer is."

Dragoshi: "The mural that reveals who the identity of the Sealer is."

Metal Man (GM): He looks at them and swings around, bumping into the desk.

Knuckles: "Ow! Evil bards..."

Dragoshi: *Chuckles.*

Glyph: "I really don't care what this remaining mural has on it if it's just Master Hand, but it seems pointless to come here to learn absolutely nothing."

Knuckles: "The mural which tells what the sealer is..."

Darkdata: .oO(Yeah, I can see why the void finds him useless.)

Aaron: "You need chill, red guy."

Knuckles: "...That's not good."

Julian: "Lemme guess. You lost it."

Glyph: "We are in an absence of chill."

Knuckles: "The Void crunched it into dust and spread it across the universe."

Darkdata: "No, let me guess, you gave it to the void."

Knuckles: "If you're nuts, you could always find all 10,000 pieces."

Glyph: "Item repair spellsong!"

Metal Man (GM): *Sidequest.* *j/k.*

Glyph: "Item repair spellsong!"

Darkdata: "AHAHAHA, NO."

Dragoshi: "That are spread across the winds?"

Knuckles: "No. It can't be repaired that way. The original version still exists."

Glyph has a headache. "

Knuckles: "Some of those pieces are... in black holes... just a heads up, you know."

Glyph: "So we came here to learn what we could have asked Wolf about."

Knuckles: "Apparently one of his followers stole it. And, naturally, when that world was destroyed, he blew that apart too. I certainly didn't lose it. I guard the Master Emerald. But... then again... what are we to do without it?"

Darkdata: .oO(Right, and that was not stolen, ever, NOOO)

Wolfman: "...Glyph, we have to seek out Master Hand now."

Knuckles: "...You'll have to find out. I can't tell."

Glyph sighs.

Wolfman: "We've done our part."

Knuckles: "There's only so much I can find."

Dragoshi: "I guess we're to check that tower, since that's the apparently the only lead we have."

Wolfman turns to Knuckles. "Thanks again for your help." *bows.*

Julian: "An' with that..." *Calls in a warp Home.*

Glyph: "Done our part? Done our part? This whole mess was started--Ice Cap Zone destroyed because the old man was too vague with a single question! Trevor exploded!""

Knuckles: "Okay... ...and if Tails asks in the future... Big the Cat stole the plane!"

Wolfman: "...can you knock out Glyph again please before we leave?"

Knuckles: "Who? ...I'm not even going to ask."

Julian: "That's a good thing."

Glyph: "And the other two thirds of Genetia?"

Aaron starts to sing once more.

Glyph: "Aaaaaargh!"

Julian: "Fuck it, illusion." *Waiting for Warp...*

Wolfman just doesn't understand Glyph.

Glyph: "Screw it! Let's go home and ask the big white disembodied hand to solve our problems! Or go black hole diving."

Dragoshi: "...What disembodied head?"

Knuckles: "Whatever you do..."

Glyph stops for an instant.

Julian: "HAND."

Glyph: "Wait... wait... wait."

Dragoshi: "Oh. Wait. You said hand."

Glyph: "Knuckles. Did you read this sealed thing?"

Knuckles: "Don't use any artifacts."

Glyph: "Sealer mural?"

Dragoshi: *Is a little frazzled from that one attack by the Void.*

Knuckles: "Oh. No, not at all. I only heard about it."

Glyph sighs.

Knuckles: "And how it missed a piece."

Glyph: "And there is nobody who has."

Darkdata: -_-;

Wolfman: "Glyph, give it up."

Glyph: "And we don't exactly have 10,000 pieces of time left."

Knuckles: "It'd be handy, but... I guess The Void is unstoppable."

Dragoshi: "..."

Wolfman: "Knuckles, we're going to try to prove you wrong."

Glyph: "Yeah, The Void may be inf. for inf., but so are the Questers."

Wolfman: "..."

Knuckles: "What if the clash of your infinities causes the destruction of everything?"

Wolfman: .oO(Come on Metal, get us out of here!)

Julian: *What the hell is taking that warp so long?* "We'll take that chance."

Knuckles: "At least, Eggman was pretty high up there, and..."

Glyph: "Then we'll have delayed what The Void was gonna do anyway."

Metal Man (GM): *Warp appears.*

Wolfman: "Glyph, just COME ON already."

Knuckles: "Oh... one last piece of advice..."

Wolfman: "Yes Knuckles?"

Metal Man (GM): He points at Glyph.

Dragoshi: "...That being?"

Knuckles: "You must find the key bearer and destroy his artifacts."

Julian: "Who, Aetos?"

Glyph: "Leyron or Aetos?"

Knuckles: "They are otherwise The Void's in a pinch. And you're punching him. Er. Pinching. Aetos. Beats me what a Leyron is."

Wolfman: "...time for more revenge planning."

Knuckles: "The Void's crazy like that. One day, BAM! Some Silver hedgehog tells us he is from the future!"

Julian: "Fun."

Knuckles: "And then this other guy tells us the sun is exploding!"

Wolfman: "Glyph, let's go."

Knuckles: "Then... THE SUN ITSELF ATTACKS US!!!"

Glyph: "...for once I relent. I can't take this."

Knuckles: "Ow... my head."

Glyph marches through the warp.

Darkdata: "Knuckles, why are you turning pink?" *warps.*

Aaron walks through as well.

Knuckles: "Wha?" He looks at his skin. "...I'll get you, Bard person!"

Wolfman goes through the warp last. .oO(Darkdata!!!)

Julian: "An' with that, I'm gone. Peace." *Warp!*

Dragoshi: *Goes through the warp too.*

Aaron: "Red guy need chill."

Knuckles: "Grrr... it's almost like there's three Sonics... and they're all stealing my emeralds for no reason... If only there was something to punch around here..."

Metal Man (GM): He looks around and sees a pile of rocks. He begins angrily punching them into dust. Good time to leave. Unless someone likes being punched. The Questers warp to the REDITS.

Metal Man: "Aha! The remote warp system works! Well. Just a moment there."

Wolfman: "...good to know Metal."

Glyph: "I hate this island an' everything in it."

Metal Man: "Let's see..." He presses a button and it flies off the island, which promptly vanishes.

Wolfman: "Can you take us to Archel's tower?"

Metal Man: "Directly? Don't you guys want a rest?"

Wolfman: "I don't believe we'll have time to rest."

Glyph: "I don't think we have time."

Metal Man: "The Void's a bit tired himself. You crashed him into the ocean. Although that also took out some old factories Grunty once had..."

Dragoshi: "Well, yea... We did give him a huge increase in body mass."

Metal Man: "And some underwater prison dealie exploded."

Glyph: "Did it destroy New Atlantis?"

Metal Man: "No. What's a New Atlantis?"

Dragoshi: "...That was an alternate reality, Glyph."

Metal Man: "Atlantis did explode, though. Crazy Zio. So. Do you wish to rest, or take on Archel's tower right now? Or... mystery option 3?"

Glyph: "We pick four."

Wolfman: "...I haven't done much this time."

Metal Man: "Okay."

Wolfman: "I'll take option 3. ...There is no option 4 Glyph!"

Glyph: "But for some inexplicable reason when we are called to vote... I feel myself being drawn... to 4."

Metal Man: "Option four is to fight the Archivists to save Ferran from its evil autocracy in which books are regulated like evil."

Glyph: "Oh."

Dragoshi: "Does it involve a button."

Glyph: "Well, that's no good then."

Metal Man: "Then we can finally find their ultra-super-secret thing!"

Wolfman: "Option 3, Metal."

Metal Man: "...But Ferran doesn't exist anymore."

Glyph: "3."

Dragoshi: "Also... Doesn't Ferran... not exist?"

Julian: "Look, I don't know about you guys, but my arms are still achin' from the ski lift. I gotta get some ice on this, so I'm behind option 1."

Metal Man: "It... vanished."

Glyph: "Good riddance. And take the majority of my persona with you."

Dragoshi: "Yea. Mystery choice 3 sounds good."

Wolfman: "Option 3 has vanished?"

Metal Man: "Not Option 3. Ferran. The Void blew it up."

Wolfman nods.

Metal Man: "Apparently the Archivists threatened him with their superweapon."

Glyph grins.

Metal Man: "So he used HIS superweapon, which was more or less a giant black hole of death. And then they... violently exploded."

Glyph: "Cruddy planet got what was coming to it."

Aaron: "It no matter to me."

Dragoshi: "A super massive black hole?"

Metal Man: "So... yeah. Halton Heights is now Flatsville Inside A Black Hole."

Glyph: "Missiles are one higher up on the tech tree though."

Metal Man: "Shopping for you there is no."

Wolfman waits to hear for option 3.

Metal Man: "Option 3. We rest, then we get some equipment from Dave, then we go to the tower. And I mean weapon upgrades."

Wolfman: "..."

Julian: "Dave's willin' to lower his prices for us?"

Metal Man: "Nobody can afford his Artifacts. Not even The Void."

Glyph: "...uh. Artifacts bad."

Wolfman: "I just spent all of my money. I can't afford Dave's."

Metal Man: "Nah, nah. He's offering a new special deal. End of the World deal, even."

Julian: "Great."

Glyph: "Gotta love those liquidation prices."

Metal Man: "Since his world-end thing went off, he's got 90% off on all mundane weapon upgrading."

Wolfman: "Unless it's Free, I can't get anything."

Dragoshi: "Good think I still have like 97k remain-New special deal? What kind of-AWESOME!"

Metal Man: "Well, you did do this mission."

Dragoshi: *!

Julian: "I'm gonna go get some ice..." *Julian heads for the kitchen.*

Metal Man (GM): Mission Accomplished.

Wolfman: "...so tell me what 3K coins can get me."

Metal Man: "A point or more up the scale for your claws. Don't worry... I can lend you some of my thousands when we get there."

Metal Man (GM): The ship lands at HQ.

Wolfman: "I sure hope so: I still have some of that treasury money in my name!"

Aaron uses the spikes he picked up for darts, they work surprisingly well.

Dragoshi: "And, wait. I'm back at an even 100k. Good, good. But, I have to wonder what the limits to Dave's upgrading capabilities are... And if the Vendetta Machinegun qualifies as an artifact or not."

Glyph wanders off somewhere to prepare a Hop invention or hone his Leviathan magic or maybe come up with an Errol plan to destroy the Questers.

Aaron: "What I do with my club? Club no hurt much, me need fix."

Dragoshi: "Ah. Well, good thing there's that upgrade sale coming up a little later, so I bet you'll be able to fix that very easily."

Aaron: "Money in bank now."

Dragoshi: "...Well, due to some stuff that involved a mess up with time, the money's now back in your pocket. No, seriously. Check 'em. Or your room. Or... Wherever you normally keep your money."

Aaron shows Dragoshi his heavy sack of coins.

Dragoshi: "And, there ya go."

Aaron: "It heavy."

Dragoshi: "Which means that the money you put in the bank is back in there."
