Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 456: The Void Battle Part III: The Undying
Date: July 24th & 25th, 2007.
Trivia: This was SUPPOSED to be the FINAL FINAL ending. Ha-ha. So much for that!
Metal Man (GM): All the Questers who have lives left are re-revived. The Void floats down, as the portal begins to become far more unstable.
Wolfman DOES have a life left.
Metal Man (GM): It is not the Smash Emblem's power which threatens it now; it is the Questers' power.
Julian: *Julian absolutely WHALES on the Void's face, screaming in fury as he lands blow after blow! Julian winds up for the 7th and final punch, and delivers a Knockout blow to the Void! Pow! Julian pushes off the Void after landing the punch and backs up to the group, breathing heavily.*
Leo: *hasn't lost a single life.*
Metal Man (GM): The Void, however, stands in front of it. Even as it closes, he holds it open with his two arms.
Garrick still has 2..
Dragoshi: *Still has two lives...* "...Sheesh."
Julian: "How you like me NOW?"
Leo: "It ends here Void..."
Wolfman: "..." .oO(...nothing worthwhile to say.)
Garrick: "...alright... now, we finish this... once and for all..."
Wolfman just growls.
Dragoshi: *Too bad he prolly' won't get a cheap shot in on the Void as he'll prolly' find someway to protect himself somehow.*
Wolfman: .oO(I'm surprised I didn't need the Quester Badge here, though...)
Julian: "C'mon man, you still wanna go? YOU STILL WANNA GO? I'll put yo' head right on the wall next to Charles'!"
Dragoshi: "...Can you even do that to a mass of static?"
Julian: "I can fuckin' TRY."
The Void: "You fool... Charles' head belongs to me."
Wolfman chuckles at that comment.
Dragoshi: "...Point taken."
Leo: "..."
Metal Man (GM): He holds out Charles' head and chucks it over his shoulder, into the portal.
Leo: "Wha? I thought you had that Julian?"
The Void: "But if you refuse to give in... very well... I shall fight you with every last ounce of my strength!"
Wolfman: .oO(...I do NOT believe this)
Metal Man (GM): He glows, slightly. The Questers begin to see the original source of his power.
Julian: "You say that 'bout EVERYTHIN'. The universe, our powers, what we are..."
Dragoshi: *He looks to see what it is...*
Metal Man (GM): Bowser... Ganondorf... Dracula... Dr. Wily... originally, it was their distrust, their lust for power... their utter hatred... it was what gave this being such power.
Wolfman: "..."
Garrick: "...I say... we hit him with what killed him before."
Metal Man (GM): The hole's origin also becomes more obvious. It is made of the same material as The Void.
Dragoshi: "..."
Metal Man (GM): Indeed, by standing in front of it, he has its full power at his command.
Garrick: "What killed him the FIRST time..."
Metal Man (GM): The sky turns rainbow colored.
Julian: "Remind me what that was."
Dragoshi: "..." *Blink-ku.*
Metal Man (GM): Red streams of energy radiate from The Void, as the stage becomes akin to the glitch stadium.
Darkdata: "... Hello Roy G. Biv!"
Leo: *starts powering up for a big wave of attacks.*
Metal Man (GM): The glitch stadium. A massive, 50-foot tall monstrosity... the one which destroyed the original one.
Garrick: "The Million Heroes Breaker... if it could work in this god forsaken place..."
Julian: "...The hell is that?"
Bonecrusher readies himself for his last attack whilst in rage.
Metal Man (GM): It's a mess of poorly programmed floors, and such. The Questers stand atop the very top of it. The Void, with the hole behind him, and the faint images of that which powers him, now stands in the way... but one can nearly see past him. Indeed, past him is a tremendous amount of energy. Perhaps the Emblems aren't as dead as they were before... but the Questers cannot access them as long as The Void is in the way.
Garrick: "Yurie used it... back when we fought the Void for the first time..."
The Void: "Yurie... Yurie? You mention that name? Hah! She tried to fight back... and temporarily defeated me. Then... I sent her to the very center of the universe... And corrupted her homeworld out of existence. Indeed, I even destroyed her friends... Razor was never to be seen again. Charles became permanently insane... because he wanted to become like me."
Nick Caligo (GM): o/` Final Fantasy 6 -- Dancing Mad o/`
Garrick: "You sick, vile, horrible demon..."
Leo: "...You sick bastard..."
Wolfman: "..." .oO(...well, that explains some things)
The Void: "Every one of the Questers who are gone now... everybody you ever missed... -I- killed them."
Digifanatic: "That's why I never become power-hungry."
Dragoshi: "...You bastardous deicidal maniac..."
Julian: "An' now we gonna kill YOU."
Leo: "FOR GOOD!!"
Garrick: .oO(Gotta get past him...)
Dragoshi: *Nods, and once again gets into position.*
Metal Man (GM): He cracks his fingers, as the pulsing, psycho background begins to spin some.
Darkdata: "You are a fool of a false god, one who will never understand anything."
The Void: "I am nothing. You cannot destroy me, for I have already been destroyed. With the full power of the vortex Wolfman described... I am unstoppable. For it is what Bowser, Ganondorf, Dr. Wily and Dracula originally wanted... infinite power..."
Dragoshi: "But what if one was to... Assault your little toy?"
Wolfman: .oO(...what vortex did I make?) "What vortex did I make Void?"
The Void: "You should know better than anyone else, pawn. The vortex of worlds! Once the enemies began mixing their minions, it became existant."
Wolfman: "...then you want VG, not myself. He was the one that summoned me, after all."
The Void: "The past is pointless, for I have devoured it. Indeed, so is your future... All that is left is this miserable present, which I shall destroy once and for all, to give you the very peace you desire!"
Metal Man (GM): He then turns to attack, looming large over the arena. THE FINAL BATTLE. The Void floats to the side of the stage, with trippy colors flowing everywhere. Indeed, he is part-portal... as his legs are inside it now. He's half-fused with it.
The Void: "This, however, is simply one of hundreds of forms I can take... I hope you're happy with your final choice, for you shall see nothing else."
Alexia: "..." *sweatdrops.* "It never ends..."
Metal Man (GM): Theme Music: It's... sort of indescribable. I can't even think of a good song, because about eight compete for it. However, this is a good prelude to those. http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01304/
Dahl: "..."
Metal Man (GM): It has always been The Void's original theme. BATTLE.
The Void: "Words cannot describe my true power..."
Metal Man (GM): A massive spectral tornado appears, ripping up REALITY ITSELF as it flies at Alexia.
Dragoshi: "..."
Garrick: "Good god..."
Alexia: "Eep!"
Metal Man (GM): It basically obliterates her.
Alexia: *Wiped from existence. Want fries with that?*
Metal Man (GM): He then targets Digifanatic, raising his right hand... and causing massive orange lightning bolts to rend reality in and around him.
Digifanatic: *HOLY CRAP.*
Metal Man (GM): He then summons a small sun, and hurls it at Darkdata. It goes supernova in the process.
Darkdata: *Toasty.*
Metal Man (GM): He then targets Garrick, and warps reality itself around him. It changes into unrecognizable, maddening shapes.
Darkdata: *Still standing woo.*
Metal Man (GM): Garrick manages to evade going insane from the chaos.
Julian: *Useless Dex!*
Dex: "JAMAICA!!!!!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): It cannot comprehend The Void's true powers!
Julian: *Worth a shot. Go, my remaining 3 pokeymans!*
Metal Man (GM): It becomes too dark for anyone but The Void to attack. He can see through dimensions. Raikou shocks The Void. Articuno freezes him.
Wolfman might not be able to attack, but... he can still swallow a Phoenix Down! *1-up sound.*
Metal Man (GM): Naturally, vision is not a problem, as he can see the Questers' past, present, and future. Thanks to the evil Togepi, no attacking for the rest of this round.
Wolfman: .oO(...okay, two lives left... but can't attack: might as well prepare) *defends.*
Dragoshi: *Just defends.*
Dahl: *Pulls her shield up and waits...*
Alexia quick Revives and goes into her Return Postage stance.
Bonecrusher, with his last turn under rage, uppercuts aggressively, then attempts a standard uppercut.
Metal Man (GM): Bonecrusher uppercuts the darkness. Then he uppercuts it some more. Take that, thin air! It's completely dark. Nobody can hit in this artificial darkness. Except The Void, but he's capable of looking through time itself to judge that.
Digifanatic: *Ultra Shroom, Vial, Defend.*
Garrick: *Ultra Shroom, Defend.*
Darkdata eats two ultra shrooms and gets into a return postage stance.
The Void: "Mwa ha ha. Chance is my servant, pokemon thrower!"
Metal Man (GM): He makes some weird noises. Julian is turned to stone.
Julian: *Oh fuck you :(*
Metal Man (GM): He makes more weird noises, and some lightning sounds.
Alexia: "...Huh. Usually, that happens to me."
Metal Man (GM): Lightning bolts rain on Bonecrusher. A loud whooshing noise is heard. A giant spectral tornado flies at Dahl. A couple hundred more whooshing noises occur at Wolfman...
Dahl: *...dead >.<*
Metal Man (GM): Wolfman succeeds at defending. The darkness lifts.
Wolfman has no clue what he didn't hear/see... must have worked.
Alexia: "Hey, the light's back!"
Metal Man (GM): The Void looms large and powerful. He is no longer bragging or monologuing.
John: "Huzzah!" John leaps in with his sword in hand and goes for a lunging thrust-slash attack, the slash burning some Aggression.
Metal Man (GM): The Void is right next to the Questers (his fists end about where the Questers' position begins) Hit, hit. Er. Crit.
Julian: *>:(*
Metal Man (GM): Julian's stoned.
Wolfman will just go for two claw swings to start off with... might as well see what happens.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Wolfman will then attempt to use his Forehead Buster to blast... hmm... the portal/legs/whatever.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Wolfman then... just does nothing.
Dragoshi: *Dragoshi looks at The Void, then sighs. He would then... Throw a Tarantula at the Void!*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Dragoshi: *And, then... A mech flies out of nowhere... again... For the third time in this insane series of battles to blast the Void with a laser barrage!*
Metal Man (GM): Crit!
Dragoshi: *The mech would stop shortly... About halfway through... But, that was just so it could fly into the Void and explode on him! And, after that... MORE TARANTULAS!*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Leo: *Defends.*
Alexia fires two Aiming Shots at the Void's fists!
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit crit hit.
Alexia then flings a Mindblast, still aiming at the fists!
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Bonecrusher: *Quickrevive.*, then uses a Phoenix Down.
Digifanatic is a bit tired of all of this fighting... "The third time BETTER be the charm." With that, he proceeds his attempts to nail Void with some moves--let's start out with a round of Celestial Fury to one of the fists and keep it going with a pair of Aerial Strikes to the other!
Metal Man (GM): All hit.
Garrick wonders where everyone got the money for these Phoenix Downs... he shakes his head at it before heading up to flank the Void, his sword twirling as he speeds by, his boosters flaring, cleaving twice into the Void with a pair of Draw and Cuts before spinning and unloading three rounds from his Tri-Barrel and one massive AP Round.
Metal Man (GM): Another possibility: Hit hit hit hit hit hit.
Darkdata attemps to use eye of truth on the void.
Metal Man (GM): Darkdata is blinded!
Darkdata: *Woo.*
Metal Man (GM): Darkdata cannot comprehend The Void's true form!
Darkdata makes a item shield with a mushroom.
Metal Man (GM): The Void's ticked now. He decides to just blow everything up. A hail of Meteors, about the size Sephiroth would use to destroy a PLANET, rain on the entire stage... hundreds of them!!!
Alexia: "GAH!"
Dragoshi: *...typical.*
Metal Man (GM): This... is The Void's true ultra attack.
Darkdata: *Go item shield.*
Leo: *gets crushed.*
Wolfman: *BOOM Boom boom boom boom...*
Alexia: "...ow."
Garrick screams out as he's slammed by one of them...
John gets thrud'd around a while, but isn't quite taken out.
Dragoshi: *@_@.*
Alexia somehow manages to stagger back onto her feet... but DANG.
Darkdata: "Phew, I knew setting up that shield was a good idea."
Leo: *...LIVES!!*
Metal Man (GM): The Void then points at Dragoshi.
Digifanatic: *Dead!*
The Void: "You call that... a powerful attack? YOUR ATTACK IS NOTHING!!!"
Bonecrusher: *Takes a beating but is still standing.*
Wolfman is still around... somehow.
Metal Man (GM): He fires a gigantic blue laser beam at Dragoshi.
Leo: "...Oww, my brains... hurteded..."
Dragoshi: "..." *How fuckin' predictable.*
Metal Man (GM): *BLOOOOOMMMMM*
Dragoshi: *See? Predictable.*
Darkdata: "Why do I smell burning dragon?
Wolfman: "...no comment."
Bonecrusher: "Make me hungry."
Metal Man (GM): He holds up his left arm as a shield, then attempts to distort reality around Julian. Julian's still a statue! No confusion or damage!
The Void: "I refuse to die... you cannot make me!"
Metal Man (GM): He shakes his massive shield at everyone.
Alexia: "We can sure try!"
John: "Yowza! Y'know, that wasn't very nice..." John jumps up with a backslash to try to swat The Void's left arm away before rearing back, glowing dark red, and aiming a ferocious slash to his neck.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Just a reminder, this arena has a prismatic/trippy sky, and there is the glitch arena below everyone... the massive, towering construct. It's all glitched up and weird.
Darkdata points about 5 miles away from the Void. "We can and we will!"
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Julian: *RAR.*
Metal Man (GM): Julian is un-stoned.
Julian: *PUNCH YOU TO DEATH >:(*
Metal Man (GM): He holds up his shield. 3 punches hit it before it breaks. Then the other 5 hit him normally.
Wolfman will try using the Quester Badge! Come on Master Hand... or Crazy Hand... or SOMEONE!
Metal Man (GM): Master Hand appears.
The Void: "BAH!"
Metal Man (GM): He smashes Master Hand through the entire Glitch arena. No help from that badge.
The Void: "No one can stop me now!"
Wolfman gets to Dark, ready for teaming... hopefully.for now.
Dragoshi: *Not reviving this round due to betting he'll just get introduced to giant laser abuse...*
Dahl: *Revives, Pulls her shield up and waits...*
Leo: *Lets loose a torrent of fireballs.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit hit hit.
Alexia Mends the others twice after seeing the results of those meteors. Not like it'd do much, but...
Bonecrusher tries to uppercut twice more, now that he can see what he's doing.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Digifanatic: *Staying dead this turn!*
Garrick throws up and Item Sac with his Mushrooms.
Wolfman: "A quick AMP please, Dark. I feel like howling."
Darkdata: "Mmkay, start your attack, I will be ready."
Wolfman rushes in, leaps, and howls... about to unleash his last Wolfkahouha Hell, final smashes notwithstanding or anything.
Darkdata: "Wolf, wolf flying in air, not scared to go anywhere, boost the power of his Wolfkahouha might, do damage to help end this fight!" - *Amplify - Wolfkahouha.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit. Wolf's attack is doubled. The Void... is still standing.
Wolfman did his part...
Darkdata: *Sets up an item shield with his TP he stored last turn.* "Nice work wolf."
The Void: "You try... and try... but I... always succeed! Grrraaaaaagghhh!!!"
Metal Man (GM): He hurls Prismatic tornadoes everywhere! One flies at Julian! He throws another one at Garrick! Then he fires a Blue beam of death at Darkdata!
Garrick knows that his Item Sac will at least take ONE of those...
Metal Man (GM): Then he fires another tornado at Julian!
Darkdata: *Item shield :D*
Metal Man (GM): He tries to summon more... but is absolutely exhausted.
Julian: *Julian dodges the last one! And the first 2!*
Darkdata: "Phew... That skill is useful. I am glad I looked it up in the Quester logfiles."
John tosses a Phoenix Down at Alexia, then drops into stance, eyes narrowed at The Void... And still wearing that maniacal grin he's kept the entire battle. for now.
Alexia: "Alright! Thanks, John!"
Julian: *Oh yes.
Wolfman: "I'll try to help out!"
Wolfman will go for a Bite on Void!
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Wolf cannot grab The Void's true form!
Wolfman: .oO(...alright...)
Wolfman will just aggressively berserker barrage Void then.
Metal Man (GM): All but one miss.
Wolfman will then swing one claw to try to... well, if grabbing the true form isn't possible, how about piercing? He stumbles and falls over... old crit miss style. He stays that way. .oO(Slag it.)
Dragoshi: *Dragoshi revives, uses his Phoenix Down, and gets into a calm composure...?*
Dahl: *claps her hands together "... Let's see if you like this RAW ENERGY PULSE!"
Metal Man (GM): The pulse flies at him... ...he smashes it with his hands, which are visibly cracked. He takes ??? damage. He seems pretty much almost dead.
Dragoshi: "...You could've just put on a straw hat, yanno."
Alexia passes her turn, a slightly evil grin on her face...
Garrick: "Crusher! Get over there and pretend you're playing baseball!"
Bonecrusher does nothing.
Digifanatic: *HOLD IT!*
Wolfman can only hope he doesn't get caught in this crossfire...
Garrick slowly looks up at the Void... moving to stand next to John...
Garrick: "I pity you, Void... I really, really do... Julian!"
John slides next to Garrick, sword at the ready. It gleams as his grin grows broader...
Leo: *Moves next to Dragoshi.*
Dragoshi: *Still keeping that calm composure, and waiting for the time to strike...*
Digifanatic: *stands next to L&D as well... looks to be charging a Fire Punch.*
Leo: *starts to form a fireball in his hands.*
Julian: *Punches his fist into his palm menacingly! Gonna kick some ass! Julian circles around The Void to where he's parallel to a grouped Digi, Drago, and Leo! Julian rears back... then jumps up and WHALLOPS The Void good in the face, attempting to knock him over to the group! Ultra Charged Haymaker!* *PUNCH.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Dragoshi: *Is starting to chant... though, it's difficult to hear... And the wind grows colder with the chanting, until he finishes the chant, and yells...* "MAY THE CHILLING WINDS CONSUME YOU! ICE TORNADO!" *Suddenly, Dragoshi unleashes a large tornado of icy power, preparing to have it mow down the Void...*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Digifanatic holds his time while Julian and Dragoshi go... and immediately after Dragoshi's turn, HE LETS THAT FIRE PUNCH RIP right where Dragoshi Ice Tornadoed Void!
Digifanatic: *SCR00 YOU!*
Metal Man (GM): Miss!
Leo: *throws his fireball at The Void.*
Darkdata: "Go team go!"
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
John flashes bright red as he charges forward with Garrick, sliding just in front of his feet and crossing to Garrick's right as he gives the first diagonal slash up across The Void.
Garrick slides into a V formation next to John, his sword held in two hands as he roars out, cleaving into him with a mighty pair of slashes that meld into one, HUGE cleave that forms up with John's slash in the form of the ever lovely combination attack by two swordsman, an X-SLASH.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit.
Bonecrusher: Whilst he is lying there, BC grabs the void, jumps and slams.
Alexia forms a Mindblast in both hands, then rears back and FIYARS! Oh, the psychic carnage!
Metal Man (GM): Miss. BC also hits. ...The massive combination of attacks totally overwhelms The Void. Nothing he can do, or will ever do, or has ever done can stop it.
Digifanatic: .oO(I missed but we still got it!)
Metal Man (GM): He is hit mercilessly, again and again and again. Even as some miss, he cannot rally the strength to counter-attack.
Dahl: " ...holy crap..."
Metal Man (GM): In his desperation he fires off one last attack, but all it manages to do is destroy the glitch arena.
Julian: *Oh shi-*
Leo: "...!"
Bonecrusher pants heavily.
Alexia grins and crosses her arms.
Wolfman gets up... after all of that chaos...
Alexia: "Your day is done."
Darkdata: "Did... did we win?"
Garrick stares, watching... waiting...
Digifanatic: "Once again."
Metal Man (GM): The portal flies off of him; his normal form exposed, he attempts to stand up. Indeed... he just won't die.
Dragoshi: "...wow."
Wolfman: "Void... give up already."
John cackles maniacally, brandishing his sword over his head.
Julian: "...'Least that went away."
Metal Man (GM): The Smash emblems power up... ... He stares at them and they turn to dust. ...But then... so does he.
Dragoshi: "...How many fucking times do we have to repeat this!? ..."
Wolfman: "...no more."
Alexia: "..."
Julian: "...Not any more."
Garrick: "...stay frosty..."
Leo: "...Finally... It's over."
Dragoshi: "...Quite."
Metal Man (GM): He says one last sentence.
The Void: "So I am destroyed... fine... then so ends... your prestigious careers..."
Alexia: "It was worth it. Goodbye."
Metal Man (GM): His hand reaches for Julian, but turns to dust and falls on his foot.
Wolfman: "I've lived my life."
Metal Man (GM): His two moldy, old coal eyes shatter.
Julian: "...So we won, right?"
Metal Man (GM): Indeed... all that is left is the portal.
Dragoshi: "...Yep."
Leo: "Well, I think so."
Metal Man (GM): The Questers now have a very important choice...
Dragoshi: "What now, though?"
Julian: "Good... Now what."
Digifanatic: "Yeah... but that career stuff is quite a bit odd."
Dahl: "...begone to the darkness with you..."
Metal Man (GM): They can close the portal, and end the madness... or leave it open.
Alexia steps forward confidently, to close the portal... to end it.
John looks up at that portal, and lifts his sword to his side once again..
Julian: *Shut that bitch down.*
Wolfman: "...wait. We should agree."
Garrick stares at the portal...
Wolfman: "...and I vote to close it."
Darkdata: "We agree to close it, simple wolf."
Dragoshi: "...I believe we should close this... Once and for all." *Slowly walks forward.*
Digifanatic: "Yeah..."
Dahl: "...If we close it ... does that mean ...we ...will disappear as well?"
Leo: "...Let's do it."
Darkdata goes to close it also.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers walk to it... a strange presence walks out.
Alexia: "If so..."
Metal Man (GM): It is Kuja.
Garrick: "It means... we'll probably go back to our ol--"
Digifanatic: "I'm hoping what Master Hand says is--oh great."
Julian: *GODDAMNIT.*
Wolfman goes to clos--
Alexia: "Well, been nice kno--"
John: "...Girlyboy!"
Dragoshi: "...Oh, for crying out loud!."
Wolfman: "...and what brings you here?"
Leo: "...What?!"
Garrick: "...YOU..."
Darkdata: "Dahl, we have come this far, we, I, does not matter now."
Julian: "Just fucking go AWAY already!"
Digifanatic: .oO(WHY... NOW???)
Julian: "What, you bring the Kuja Bankers with you? For double the stupid?"
Wolfman doesn't say that with malice though.
John doesn't really look angry to see this figure.
Darkdata: "Salkg."
Kuja: "I have not come to attack your... pathetic realm."
Dragoshi: "...Then what?"
Wolfman: "Questers, stand down."
John: "Bringin' us news?"
Kuja: "Merely to say that my prophecy has been fulfilled." He drops a scroll on the ground.
Julian: "Shut up, Wolf."
Wolfman picks up the scroll.
Dragoshi: *Takes s-Nevermind.*
Dahl: "...There to give the realm back to us perhaps ?"
Wolfman then reads it.
Garrick walks up between Alexia and Julian, his sword quivering... he would have nothing more than to run him through... right now...
Alexia leans over and reads the scroll.
Kuja: "The Time Catastrophe destroys all. The Void has destroyed your infinite world. Indeed, the chaos you used to destroy me is also gone."
Metal Man (GM): The scroll is an accurate prediction of everything that happened. Kuja wrote it moments before the Questers killed him.
Dragoshi: "So... This was the Time Catastrophe?"
Digifanatic: "Man, it seems like we're trapped in this after all..."
Julian: "Whoop-dee-fuckin'-do."
Alexia: "...Wow."
Julian: "It's over, that's all that matters."
Wolfman: "...you have a very sharp mind Kuja."
John just shrugs.
Kuja: "I have come... to warn you of the future."
Dahl: "..." * rubs her temples and thinks...*
Dragoshi: "Interesting..." *Looking at the crystal if it still exists...*
Kuja: "Your destinies have been fulfilled, as have mine."
Wolfman listens.
Dragoshi: "I suppose so..."

John 's eyes snap out of focus as his sword lowers a bit.
Kuja: "Never... should anyone gain power equal to yours... unless you wish for something worse than The Void to take his place."
Julian: "Alright, fine! Whatever! Jus' GO."
Digifanatic: .oO(I'd like to do both, if that's permissible.)
Julian: "I've had enough of people I don't like talkin' for one day."
Metal Man (GM): He then looks rather wryly at Julian.
Dahl: "...I would... like to stay here ...I do miss my mother and father but ... I don't want to leave my friends behind..."
Kuja: "The Kuja bankers were miserable counterfeits. My men are much tougher than that!"
Dragoshi: "...I believe I should stay here, then. It's the closest thing I have to a home..." *Chuckles.*
Leo: "I feel the same way."
Garrick stands there, still angry at this horrible, vile person that he hates even more than the Void... even more than any villain they've ever encountered..
Kuja: "I should have known Zio would betray me... for that, he shall join The Void in absolute oblivion... as well as Aetos and Charles. All... permanently dead."
Alexia looks at the portal, then back at the others...
Dahl: " ...I don't even think my parents would even know who I am anymore... I have changed so much.."
Darkdata: "I can open a personal gate to my world any time, so I will stay here. Besides. who would I have to annoy?"
Kuja: "..." He mutters and spits on a piece of paper he's holding. "And... that thing... Glyph." He chucks it away and walks into the portal.
Alexia: *tears beginning to form in her eyes.* "...You have no clue how heart-rending this is..."
Leo: "..."
Metal Man (GM): Kuja vanishes for the last time. All can now see reality reforming.
Julian: "I got no idea what the fuck is goin' ON."
Darkdata: "Where is Aetos anyway?"
Dragoshi: "And, I... Have no other reservations that are of importance." *Would walk over to the paper Kuja held.*
Garrick: "Aetos is dead..."
Metal Man (GM): Entering... is an instant portal to home.
Wolfman stays close to Dahl during this time.
Metal Man (GM): Staying... means one must find a normal life, here, in the world of SSQ.
Leo: *walks over to Alexia.* "Hey, you okay?"
Digifanatic: "I have no idea... I want to be back to my home for a few days... but that runs the risk of never being able to stay with you folks and continue this... and if I want to leave you folks, it's because I'm retiring as a Quester. And I don't feel like retiring yet."
John sits down, dropping the sword on the floor, his eyes still out of focus. "...Where is home?"
Metal Man (GM): Either way... Metal Man is reformed from bits and pieces as normal.
Alexia: "..."
Garrick: "We won't be Questers, Digi... There's no need... there's nothing left."
Digifanatic: "Scary, isn't it..."
Dragoshi: *Picks up the paper Kuja held, and looks at it, out of curiosity. :/*

Julian: "Look, I'm stayin'. I couldn't make anything of myself on Earth. Here? I got a clean record."

Garrick walks a distance away from the others, sitting down on the battlefield and thinking quietly...

Metal Man (GM): You're back at HQ suddenly. It appears reality has gone back to its original form, though...
Dragoshi: "Ultimately for real, this time."
Metal Man (GM): Your awesome weapons vanish... your powers revert to normal.
Julian: "Hopefully there ain't gonna BE a next time."
Metal Man (GM): Metal Man looks down.
John looks up at Metal, his eyes barely focusing. "...Hey, Boss."
Dragoshi: "Damn well better not..."
Leo: "Heh..."
Dahl: " I won't mind ...but If I can't come back here ...I ...don't want to leave just yet..."
Metal Man: "I was too weak to fight along you... I was nothing but a fake trying to look like Julian."
Digifanatic: "Sweet home away from home..."
Dragoshi: *So, he checks... does he no longer have Vendetta Machinegun? Or does that include all of Dragoshi's weapons?*
Metal Man: "I nearly got us all killed trying to save the universe and killing The Void."
Metal Man (GM): All of the weapons are gone, save what Dragoshi would have normally. So he'd have a normal scythe, likely. HIS scythe.
Julian: *Weapons? What weapons?*
Darkdata: *Back to wooden harp.*
Metal Man (GM): Garrick would have the M-150, but no other magical weapons. Probably a normal sword.
John would have no weapons left, then. His old hammer of the wayback days is buried somewhere in storage, if it wasn't destroyed long ago.
Julian: *Julian's back to punching things... Hey wait, he was already doing that.*
Digifanatic looks around and digs through his pockets... .oO(Phew. It's still there.)
Metal Man: "Your powers have gone back, to restore the balance of this universe."
Dragoshi: "Eh... No pro-..." *Eyes widen as he searches his person and pulls out... His original scythe.*
Wolfman has claws and his buster attached to his forehead... but whatever giga style attack he had originally... it's no more.
Dragoshi: "What the hell..."
Metal Man: "They are no longer needed, as all foes have been defeated."
Garrick looks at himself... back to his normal, regular self... he sighs.
Julian: "Lovely." *...Aw wait, No more Rocket Boots. Man.*
Metal Man: "Indeed... this building... all of us... no longer needed."
Darkdata: "Heh, well, I find wooden objects charming."
Leo: "Well, now what do we do?"
Garrick: "So... this is it? No more Questers?"
Wolfman: "...it is as I kind of predicted."
Julian: "Huh... Just as well. I already got somethin' lined up."
Wolfman: "There might be a time where we won't be needed."

Metal Man: "The portal." He points at it. "You may go 'home', or make a life here. Either way... the Super Smash Melee Questers... are finished."

Julian: "Like I said, I already got stuff lined up here."
Wolfman turns to Dahl.
Garrick: "You didn't fail anything, Metal... just wrong place, wrong time stuff..."
John pulls his knees up to his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs as he rests his chin on his knees.
Digifanatic: "You said the Melee Questers are finished..."
Garrick thumps Digi.
Wolfman: "Again Dahl... your choice. I still wish to join you anyway."
Darkdata: "I plan on staying here."
Digifanatic: "Fine."
Dahl: *bites her lip.* " ...well..."
Metal Man: "Master Hand may have a future tournament... but there is something important I must tell you."
Dragoshi: "Then, do tell, Metal."
Garrick looks to the portal, staring... half listening to Metal... home?
Julian: "Shoot."
Alexia: "...As much as I want to see my parents, my old friends, everyone..."
Metal Man: "If you stay here, your past will fade away. Your past outside of fighting as a Quester. The portal is permanent."
Leo: "..."
Digifanatic: *same as Leo.*
Metal Man: "It's a really tough choice, but..." He shakes his head. "My planet died anyway."
Dragoshi: *Starts twirling his scythe to get the feel of it... Then stops and grips it.* "...Meh."
Metal Man: "I would suggest most of you go back to your homes. Your friends and family most likely miss you."
Wolfman: "...I've already honored my old realm and family as well as I could. What I choose won't matter."
Julian: "Hmmm..."
Dragoshi: "Not like I had a home to begin with."
Dahl: "...so ...I will never ...get to see mother and father ..." *she sits down and thinks...*
Dragoshi: "'Sides... I just wandered around aimlessly, anyway."

Leo: "I have no one to really go back too."
Garrick continues to stare at the portal... what DID he have left back on his world?"
Wolfman: "My choice... depends on Dahl's. Out of everyone as of late, I feel like I've connected to her the most."
Digifanatic: *sigh.* "I dunno... I just have no idea..."
Metal Man: "I must add..." He picks up a book, which vanishes.
Julian: "That complicates things."
Alexia: "...Garrick?"
John: "...How long have I been here?" His eyes were fixed on a point on the wall near the floor.
Metal Man: "Our history with Earth no longer exists."
Digifanatic: "If nothing else... I just want to say 'Hello.'"
Wolfman: "...say WHAT Metal?!?"
Alexia walks over and places a hand on his shoulder.
Dragoshi: "...Huh."
Garrick glances to Alexia..
Metal Man: "This is the realm it was originally. Indeed... the Fighter Remote has no power at all. All that's left is this building. The MTAs are gone, the CACs... mostly gone..."
Dragoshi: "Mostly?"
Wolfman: "Even I needed one before I became a quadrupedal and was able to fly."
Dahl: " ...I don't know..."
Julian: "My ride?"
Wolfman: "Metal, is it possible to sort of... well, allow communications through the portal before decisions are made?"
Alexia: "Garrick, if our paths part here... I'll never forget you."
Metal Man: "It is still in normal condition."
Julian: "Fantastic."
Alexia turns back around.
Alexia: "Guys?"
Metal Man: "I cannot control the portal. The longer we hold it open, the longer The Void's corpse bears on this world."
Garrick looks at Alexia... he never really noticed how short she was compared to him... or how her hair was that color...
Dragoshi: *Looks at Alexia and Garrick.* .oO(should I disrupt this moment to clear up an error...) "Yes, Alexia?"
John starts rocking slightly, his eyes occasionally darting over to the portal..
Metal Man: "Indeed... if we were to leave it open for days and begin communicating again, we'd simply revive him."
Julian: *Turns his attention to Alexia.* "Yo."
Alexia: "As much as I would want to see all my people again... I feel like I must stay."
Wolfman: "...that... is what I thought."
Julian: "Whatever you want."
Alexia: "I don't know why... but all I can do now is to trust my heart."
Wolfman: "Dahl, your call."
Dahl: "...I will stay. ...I am tried of being afraid of making decisions. ..."
Dragoshi: *Nods...* "...'K."
Wolfman does what he can to offer Dahl a hug.
Garrick: "...there's not much left for me in my time... my father is dead, most likely..."
Digifanatic: "I am so unsure I have no idea..."
Wolfman: "...I know it was difficult."
Dragoshi: *So, speaking of past things, he looks for his old armor around here somewhere...*

Alexia looks up with a crushed look on her face.
Alexia: "As much as I've seen here... I have to keep our race in the history books."

Alexia: "...Goodbye, guys. I wish you good luck."
Garrick: "...Alexia?"
Metal Man: "Oh... yes... Julian."
Darkdata: "Heh, I will have to go. I have a kingdom to run. I can't leave them without a prince."
Julian: "You're leavin'?"
Alexia takes off her pack and gun holsters.
Metal Man hands him a note. "It's from Master Hand."
Metal Man: "You may want to take that gun with you... if you leave, it'll just vanish."
Julian: "Thanks." *Reads it.*
Alexia: "I wouldn't have any use for it."
Alexia turns around... and enters the portal.
Garrick walks up next to Alexia... and watches her go...
Dragoshi: *Waves goodbye to Alexia.*
Metal Man (GM): It says the following.
Leo: "...Bye, Alex." *waves goodbye.*
Digifanatic: "See you, Lex. Nice knowing you while it lasted..."
Julian: "...Peace." *Watches Alexia walk out after he reads the note.*
Wolfman simply nods to Alexia.
Metal Man (GM): 'You, Julian Sawyer, have been given priority status as a possible fighter, should the Smash tournament continue in the future."
Metal Man: "As such, you are hereby asked not to leave this realm, for you have become a part of it."
Garrick sighs...
Metal Man (GM): As for Atlantis? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. It doesn't exist in ANY timeline.
Darkdata: "Guys, I thank you for the memories. I hope to see you all again in the future." *he leaves, walking in a princely stature.*
John looks to the portal again, still not lifting his head from his knees. "...Where will it take me?"
Wolfman nods to Darkdata.
Darkdata: "See you all around.*
Dragoshi: "No prob, Dark."
Digifanatic: "Later."
Metal Man: "To wherever 'home' is, outside here."
Dragoshi: "And, adios."
Leo: "See ya."
Metal Man: "Wherever you were before you came here."
Julian: "Two down... An' ain't that fuckin' great. Looks like I don't got a choice." *pockets the note.*
John: "..I don't know where that is."
Darkdata: "Oh, before I go. Those candies? They were just self contained illusion spells, they never swapped your gender."
Julian: "You wanna find out?"
John reaches into his pocket, rooting around... for his coin bag.
Darkdata winks and he is gone.
Wolfman: "...I'd rather NOT go back then. I honestly have nothing left back at my old realm."
Garrick: "...neither is nothing left in mine. Why should I go back to war when I have peace..."
Dragoshi: "Yea... I mean, what's the point?"
Julian: "Even if I did have a choice, I got a helluva lot more here than I did there."
Leo: "Damn, I wish they didn't have to leave... it seems a bit lonely already without Alex and Dark."
Metal Man (GM): John's coins remain.
Garrick: "...you know... my dad told me something, once..."
Metal Man (GM): After all, John just lost a job. He'll need them to eat.
Dahl: *hops onto Wolfman.*

Digifanatic: "You know what? By originally coming here, I had wiped out years of previous ambitions and hopes... and to all of my friends and family, they knew that I was taking a huge risk. I came back, hoping to amend the old and greet the new... my folks had always known that if I was willing to make a choice like this again, they knew I was pretty serious about it."

Metal Man: "Glyph and Aetos, both dead to the point Master Hand couldn't even find their teeth. And Master Hand sees all!"

Metal Man: "Or wait... is that Master Eye... ...Is there even a Master eye?"
Garrick shrugs.
Garrick: "My dad's name was David."
Julian: "Whatever. What's yo' real name?"
Leo: "Yeah?"
Dragoshi: "Well there has to be. I mean, it makes sense if there's a hand..."
Wolfman: "It is your choice Dahl. However, I still wish to give you that tour of the world so you can at least find something with a friend."
Dahl: *smiles.* "Yea ... that sounds nice."
Digifanatic: "Metal... is there some way there could be an alternate me returning back home while I stay here, or vice versa? I highly doubt it, but if there is a way, please let me in on it."
Garrick: "Adam."
Digifanatic: "Ah... and that Fy'aar?" the.*
Metal Man: "Digi... I cannot bend reality, no matter how many soft drinks I drink."
Wolfman chuckles... that's a relief.

Aribar comes out of the portal, looking much like his older self... About a year older and in some different more magely clothes however.* "What a bizarre experience... Greetings."
John jumps to his feet and spins to look at Aribar, dropping the coin in the process. "Ari!"
Digifanatic: *to everyone except Aribar.* "Yeah, guys... I'm staying here."
Julian: "Good for you."
Metal Man: "Well, Aribar, Master Hand wanted to give you this."
Leo: "Cool!"

Dahl: " so ...where are we going to go first Wolfman?" ^^
Wolfman: "We don't go yet Dahl. We stay here first until Metal says... THEN we go."
Dahl: "Oh." *giggles.* "Alright."
Dragoshi: *Propping his scythe against the ground, and leans on it.*

Julian: "Whatever. So is everyone here who wants to be here?"
Wolfman: "...that Bible Belt state? That place held a lot of Mavericks in my day... it was one of the last places to fall."
Leo: "I'm here."
Wolfman: "Dahl, understood."
Digifanatic: "Staying."
VG: "I'll send you a picture, though." He looks at an old, beat-up camera. "Assuming this object made of plastic can survive over one tho---ice cream and hot dogs!"
Aribar: "I'm certainly staying here... Heh. Just arrived after a small break.."
Dragoshi: "...what."
Leo: "Cool, can't wait for them!"
Wolfman: "Understood Veeg. Again, good luck." .oO(...so he's actually going to destroy that place.)
Garrick: "Yeah, I'm here too.."
Dragoshi: "Same..."
Wolfman: "Dahl and myself are staying in this realm as well Julian."
Metal Man (GM): VG nods, and enters the portal. Indeed, his plan becomes obvious, as he left a stick of dynamite behind him. On it is the letters "SSS."
Dragoshi: *...Would take that, if it isn't too close to the portal.*
Garrick: "...so... what now?"
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi takes it. It's somewhat dangerous, so don't go putting it on birthday cakes.
Leo: "I guess... we leave."
Metal Man: "Oh, that reminds me. Unfortunately, all the artificial intelligences were fake. At least, the ones in this neck of the woods."
Dragoshi: "...Huh. VG left his behind." *Holds up the dynamite.* "...Should I just, throw this at a rock or something?"
Garrick: "...Nova is gone?"
Julian: "A'ight, if that's everyone, Congratulations, we're retired. I gotta go pack." *Julian heads back into the Stadium to pack up his room.*
Garrick: "...and the Dauntless?"
Metal Man: "All gone. Unfortunately, The Void made them to ease his world takeover strategy."
Garrick sighs...
Dragoshi: "...I better do the same." *Zooms to his room at whatever his max speed is now to go and pack stuff up.*
Metal Man: "Now... Digi... you look like you need something... what is it?"
Wolfman: "Metal, are Dahl and I free to go?"
Metal Man: "Yes, Wolfman. But Master Hand sent a letter to you, too."
Metal Man (GM): Metal rolls it out on the floor.
Digifanatic: "I don't think it's possible, but can you at least pull some sort of communication among my friends and family with me? Just for a minute... it's all I need."
Wolfman picks it up and reads it.
Leo: "Hey Dragoshi, can I go with you? I don't like being alone..."
Digifanatic: "I just want them to know that they'll probably never see me again."
Metal Man (GM): 'Attention Wolfman: You are free to come and go, but please remember that there may be future tournaments. Also...' Wolfman reverts to his non-four-legged stance and back to his original one. 'It kind of impedes paperwork for you to walk on four legs.'
Wolfman (GM): Unless Dahl was hanging on tightly... she gets thrown off.
Dahl: *flails and falls off of Wolfman.* @.@
Dragoshi: *Didn't hear what Leo said as Drag's in his room packing his stuff.*
Garrick heads to his own room... he remembers the kit that Scott got him... it should be there, so he heads to back things up... he doesn't have much. A few spare t-shirts he bought over the years... white, black, and gray, really... some spare pants, another pare of boots and some shoes... basic things.
Dahl: "... nooo leeetters foor me?"
Wolfman: "...Master Hand, I'm going to hurt you later."
Leo: *runs back to his room and starts to pack up.*
Wolfman: "I was actually getting used to my four legged form."
Aribar: *Watches everyone go about as they please..* "Seems like everyone's leaving to go explore Nintendus or something like that... Didn't really sink in until now that the time for Questers seems over.."
Garrick: "...need to buy a new jacket... ...need to make money to buy a new jacket..."
Wolfman: .oO(Hmm... maybe I can have both somehow... I'll figure it out later.) "Well Dahl... would a piggy back ride work just as well, or do you think walking will be enough?"
Julian: *Julian packs up his stuff! Various trophies and memorabilia from his Questing Days, some changes of clothes... Charles' head. That's about it. Nicely fit into one box.* "An' that's that..." *Julian takes one look around for nostalgia purposes... then grabs his box and heads for the hangar, jangling his keys.*
Metal Man (GM): Charles' head has a new addition to it.
Dahl: " ...I can walk." ^^ *She hops up and dusts her self off.*
Wolfman: "Very well."
Metal Man (GM): Carved into the board is "The Void Wuz here." That... evil... dead invincible vandalizing abomination!
Julian: *>:(*
Digifanatic: "Metal, I'll take it that's a no. Oh well, I was expecting that..."
Metal Man: "Uh... what was it, Digi?"
Digifanatic: "The thing about just letting me have one last word, but like I said, given the circumstances, I don't think we can pull it off."
Metal Man: "Oh. That."
Digifanatic: "Aribar was a special case."
Garrick takes a quick shower, changing into some clean clothes... he looks over to his dresser and sees a band of blue fabric... his dad's bandanna... he never wore it after all these years. He planned on giving it back when he met him again... he sighs and takes it, wrapping it around his head and tying it tightly. With everything packed, he picks up his bag and his suitcase and heads to the Big Room.
Leo: *walks back to the others carrying a backpack, a big green duffel bag, and his sword on his back.* "Well, I guess I'm ready to go."
Metal Man: "Your world still exists out there, Digi."
Julian: *Julian reaches the hangar, heads to his Escalade, pops the trunk, and puts the box of his stuff in there! Hooray. Julian closes the trunk, gets in the driver's seat, turns on the car, and drives out of the hangar out to the front.*
Metal Man: "You can still talk to them."
Digifanatic: "I know. But I can't return."
Garrick: "...hey, Metal."
Nick_Caligo: o/` Super Mario 64 -- Staff Roll o/`.
Digifanatic: "Wait... talk..."
Garrick: "You forgot something."
Digifanatic: "So that means I can send stuff or whatever, right?"
Metal Man: "Yes, Digi... er... what did I forget? Was it my helmet this time?"
Digifanatic: "Perfect!"
Garrick reaches into his pocket and pulls out the red device they've used so much these past years... the Smash Dexes.
Dahl: *stretches.* "Well..."
Dragoshi: *And, so Dragoshi comes back from packing his stuff up, carrying a pair of suitcases, and his scythe on his back. He really didn't have much. :/*
Digifanatic: "Alright, thank you, Metal. At least I have that comfort."
Garrick: "What do we do with these?"
Leo: "I can't believe this is it..."
Julian: *Julian drives around front to where everyone is, pulls out his dex, Opens it, and sends out a Text Message to all Questers.* 'Yo, I'm headin' to Fourside to find a house an' maybe start the band up again. Anyone who wants to come with, meet out front. Peace.' *END MESSAGE.*
Dragoshi: *Puts the suitcases down, and pulls out the Dex, reading the message.* "...Heh. Might as well come along." *Puts the Dex away, and begins carrying the suitcases. Again.*
Aribar: "Hrm... Is anyone even sticking around in our old HQ?"
Leo: "Hmmm..." *Heads out to the front to meet up with Julian.* "I'll see ya all around then, bye!"
Wolfman: "Let's go to Toad Town first Dahl... then explore. After all, you do need food, right?"
Digifanatic walks back up to his room, the happiest he has been in a while. He finds his luggage and packs in it all of his clothes and such, with an additional backpack for photographs, writing materials, and whatever. Oh yeah, he includes part of his synthesizers in the inventory, partially because he won't be able to fit most of that in the back of the Escalade.
Dahl: *nods.* "Ok."
Digifanatic: *walks back down.* "Okay, I don't think all of these synths can be squeezed into the Escalade... I guess I'll just have to use two for now or something like that."
Wolfman starts going to Toad Town... walking up high for once... Dahl by his side.
Wolfman: .oO(...what an adventure. But at least... I'm home.)
Dahl: *just smiles a bit.*
Garrick shrugs, guessing he can't keep it as a memento. He follows the others to Julian's car, stacking up his own bag, suitcase, and the various cylinder containers that hold his kit.
Bonecrusher: "Me go gym now."
Digifanatic walks out to the Escalade and starts packing his stuff in... if he's lucky, he can tuck his synths under the seats or lay them on his lap.
Dragoshi: *Decides to follow Digi and Adam, 'cause, hey, why not? >_>*
Bonecrusher: "Me not know where home is."
Aribar heads inside the HQ... It's been far too long since he entered those doors. Everyone else is heading to new frontiers... He might as well stay in the past and look over the place... At least for a little while.
John wanders in behind Ari. "...Long time no see."
Dragoshi: *In any case, when Drag reaches the Escalade he also follows suit and packs his stuff in.*
Aribar: "Aye... It's been a while since I've been with you guys."
Dahl: *Slips her cloak back on ans starts to hum the theme to Phantasy star 3 ...she doesn't know it is of course ... it is just some song she heard as a kid.*
Aribar continues walking slowly down the hallway... Then abruptly comes to a stop and turns around.* "... John?"
John: "Hey, Ari. Where've you been?"
Leo: *runs outside to the Escalade and packs his stuff in the back.*
Aribar chuckles.* "I suppose you could say finding myself... Literally."
Digifanatic: "Well, Alexia decided to return to her place..."
John: "I wish I could do that... I keep losing myself, and never quite pulled things back together. Maybe now that this chaos is over I'll finally be able to do so..."
Digifanatic: "Ari, now it's your turn to find some femme if you already haven't!"
Aribar: "I've been on Nintendus, actually... Traveling about to all of the places I went in my youth. I can definitely tell you that it helped me... Maybe it'll do the same to you, John.
Aribar looks to Digi, shuddering..* "Err. Ah.."
Digifanatic: "And ya never wrote? Nah, I'm just teasing."
John: "...I don't think I was here in my youth. Then again, I can't quite remember. I don't remember anythin' about a family.."
Digifanatic: "Well, if you don't want to, that's fine."
Aribar: "I apologize for not doing so, Digi, but at the time I didn't feel like I could face the Questers again."
Digifanatic: "Don't worry about it..."
