Dates: November 7th & 11th, 2007.
Trivia: This is the last SSQ 1 mission Wolfman himself appeared in person in and spoke.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers are... outside??? ...In the garden, even. Metal Man has led them here.
Metal Man: "I've brought you here because my desk is currently trapped in an extra-dimensional warphole, and the Bigger Room is too big... it scares me."
Metal Man (GM): Afternoon. It is most obviously Fall here. Leaves everywhere.
Metal Man: "Anyway. With my new portable briefing room, I no longer need to stick to any one room, anyway."
Alex Fender: "Extra-dimensional warpholes. The universe's bung hole."
Digifanatic: .oO(Why couldn't we do this a couple of weeks earlier? Would have looked nice... oh well.)
Metal Man presses some buttons on his wrist.
Dragoshi: "Hm?"
Metal Man (GM): A picture of a number of different universes appear.
Julian: *Julian didn't even know they had a garden.*
Metal Man: "Now, as I am here to advise, rather than order you, I'll bring up the important stuff."
Chancé: "Nice watch. Erm... wrist?"
Kamui: *watches on, his arms resting at his sides with his hands in the pockets of his pants. He then looks to the picture.*
Metal Man looks at the several tall orange-leafed trees, glancing at a Gazebo.
Alex Fender: *immediately runs over and attacks the Gazebo!*
Metal Man: "As far as we know, something ugly went down, and a bunch of personnel and fighters are of a questionable status."
Metal Man (GM): The Gazebo is dented.
Julian: "As usual."
Dragoshi: *Also glances at the Gazebo* "...What's so interesting about that?"
Alex Fender: "Whoo! I win! +10 super cool points to me!" *walks back over to the others.*
Metal Man: "Now, I could iterate the facts at you... or..." *He gets a weird look on his face* "I could give you a crazy plan that'd allow you guys to ultimately have time to do something you always seem to want. A Tournament."
Kamui: o_O *sighs and raises a hand up rubbing his eye.*
Metal Man: "Most specifically, Ganondorf has been seen in this, and Luigi is missing. I believe, then, that Ganondorf kidnapped Luigi, and we must iterate one hundred twenty five world facts to save hi--" *looks at his notes and rips them up angrily.*
Digifanatic: "Right..."
Metal Man: "That's the third time I've mixed up the garbage with my notes!"
Digifanatic: "Sounds so."
Alex Fender: "So... wink it?"
Dragoshi: "...Wow. That's gotta suck."
Metal Man: "We... anyway, don't need to say lots of facts. We need to get to Ganondorf."
Julian: "Again."
Metal Man: "Ganondorf's always the power player, if you know what I mean. Except this time, I'm getting reports that he's no longer insane. That is very bad. So, what do you guys think would draw Ganondorf into the field, no tricks attached? We need to get him in our vision, so we can either snipe him, blow him up, capture him, or set him on fire. Remember, we have Grodus prisoner."
Kamui: *scratches his chin softly* "Lust for power?"
Julian: "Call him out. Ganon ain't the kind to refuse a direct challenge."
Alex Fender: "If he's not insane, then he'll probably know that we'd group pwn him if someone calls him out."
Metal Man: "Hmmm... if we called him out, we might have to be wary of tricks. But that's an option. If so, though, I'd suggest an environment that'd benefit us."
Alex Fender: "...could weeeee... warp somewhere... like... that would make his magic go all wonky?"
Metal Man: "His lust for power may help, but what objects of power would he want from us?"
Aribar: "Then why not stop over to his stronghold for tea and crumpets while making him tell us where Luigi is? ... If the two are connected."
Metal Man: "We don't know where that is."
Alex Fender: ""Oo! Punch and pie! He'll definitely come if we say we have punch and pie!?"
Dragoshi: "Hmm..." *Tries to figure out what kind of environment would be beneficial to the Questers in a fight 'gainst Ganondorf...*
Aribar: "Ooh... Yeah, that may help. Well, to stick with the plan that seems to be forming... We're the Questers. We have to have some artifact or another around here."
Metal Man: "About all we have is the new Fighter Remote, and he never liked those."
Metal Man (GM): The Flat Zone comes to Dragoshi's mind.
Dragoshi: "I don't know why... But, I'm thinking the Flat Zone."
Julian: "Why not try an' get him in the arena? Call him out in front of the whole world, he comes runnin', we set it up in the arena. No items, Final Destination."
Metal Man: "..." *He thinks* "But Ganondorf despises the arena... oh, I just remembered." *holds up his dex.*
Dragoshi: "Yes...?"
Metal Man: "He probably still thinks I'm on his side."
Digifanatic: "Well, he'll have to deal with it."
Metal Man: "I could fool him if needed."
Alex Fender: "Ehhhh... if he's smart, wouldn't he be tracking you or something?"
Aribar: "Ooh. That's a good trick."
Alex Fender: "We DID pwn that Grodus guy. He never showed back up to say nothin'. They might figure you're all good now if he isn't about to say somethin."
Metal Man: "I am the king of tracking devices." *He nods* "The three he tried to track me with currently show me fighting gigantic spiders on that giant Mario Island place."
Digifanatic: "Heh."
Metal Man: "I'd have tracked him, but I didn't expect data like that to be useful. Still, I have his number, he'll believe things I say."
Dragoshi: "...Giant spiders. what."
Metal Man: "There's an evil island where everything is gigantic."
Alex Fender: "Tell him you're inviting him for cake and mild conversation in the middle of that Flat place!"
Julian: "Forget the giant spiders. Do we have an agreed-upon plan yet?"
Metal Man: "Any way... so. We're agreed on calling out Ganondorf directly, right? Well, sort of. We haven't decided on how to draw him out yet."
Aribar: "I think so.."
Dragoshi: "Yea..."
Metal Man: "He hates the Stadium, so all we need is a good location. Any ideas on that?"
Alex Fender: "Okay, wait... what if we like... put him... somewhere relaly big. Like, open."
Metal Man: "Like the Giant Island?"
Alex Fender: "And then have someone shoot him from like really far away, so he can't see it coming. If he's so uber-powerful, we need to hit him very hard, and very fast."
Julian: "He ain't Uber-powerful. We've beat him down so many times it ain't even funny. We just need a place where he ain't got an advantage..."
Metal Man: "And where he can't easily trick us."
Alex Fender: "...what's he normally do? Use magic?"
Digifanatic: "Yeah."
Dragoshi: "Mhm."
Alex Fender: "Then how 'bout somewhere were magic doesn't work."
Metal Man: "Well, there is a place for that... but it'd short-circuit brawl moves too."
Aribar: "He typically casts electric and dark magic, and knows a good deal of swordplay. And he can transform into Ganon... And I'd appreciate it if we didn't go to any anti-magic zones."
Alex Fender: *shrugs* "I don't know this weirdo world of yours."
Julian: "Anti-Magic is out of the question. We just need a flat-featureless plain... Like Flat Zone."
Metal Man: "Flat Zone is pretty good, I think."
Digifanatic: "I like that."
Metal Man: "Unless you want to go to the Forbidden Zone." *nods.*
Julian: "I didn't even know it existed, to be honest. I thought it was just a stage."
Metal Man: "Oh no, it exists. It's just a bit painful to warp into."
Julian: "Hell, if we could get him to Final Destination that'd be even better."
Dragoshi: .oO(...I thought I mentioned Flat Zone earlier.)
Digifanatic: "Yeah, I liked that idea of FD."
Metal Man: "There is the Bridge of Eldin, which is very long and flat... though it's fragile at times..."
Aribar: "Ganondorf's more familiar with that stage than us."
Metal Man: "Final Destination would be easy for him to detect a set-up."
Julian: "Bridge of whatsit? So we don't set him up, we just straight up take him out."
Digifanatic: "Yeah, Eldin was where Jigglypuff fought him and I don't want to deal with that again."
Metal Man: "Ganondorf has to be drawn out first, most likely by a fake call in by me."
Digifanatic: "That's why I like Final Destination. One platform. No frills. No tricks..."
Alex Fender: *feels lonely without a guitar* "Yeah, but this Final Destination place is so... well... fight-worthy."
Aribar: "... Hrm. If you're calling him out, then asking him to come here would seem a bit fishy... That might mean no arena stages or anything like that."
Alex Fender: "I'm still likin' Flat Zone."
Metal Man: "If you were Ganondorf, and I was me, and you heard me go 'Hey, come to Final Destination, I've somehow got something important there!'"
Dragoshi: "I agree with Alex..."
Metal Man: "Would you not find it suspicious?"
Digifanatic: "True."
Metal Man: "The Flat Zone I have used before to send important messages. It is not as suspicious."
Julian: "Metal, what part of 'Callin' Him Out' ain't you gettin'?"
Metal Man: "He isn't likely to respond to it in the way you'd expect. Trickin' him out ensures you fight Ganondorf, or at least, somebody close to him."
Julian: "Ganondorf's a prideful son of a bitch. He ain't gonna turn down a direct challenge from ANY of us."
Alex Fender: "He's not going to come if we're going to yell at him and say 'HEY! Get out here so we can beat you up!'..."
Metal Man: "You're free to call him out, but don't come crying to me if he does something foul."
Digifanatic: "Well... actually, he'll just go arrogant villain on us and say he'll beat us up no problem. Of course, he probably won't beat us."
Metal Man shrugs "Anyway, I've given you my advice. Up to you to choose now."
Aribar: "We could still get the jump on him for once. There must be some holy place that would restrict his dark powers... Of course, if we do this he'll probably hate us even more.."
Dragoshi: "I still say we try to trick him into going to Flat Zone and fighting him there."
Alex Fender: "Yeah! I want punch this dude for no reason!"
Metal Man: "Holy? The holy place that once did that was just as easily turned into the Dark World, where he now has plenty of power. Any way. Looks like two people want to call him out. Is that your final answer as a group, people?"
Aribar: "If he will even accept, that seems like a good idea. We'll just have to have some tricks of our own ready."
Kamui: *scratches his chin* "A direct challenge is noble, but not the most successful way of handling this."
Dragoshi: "Quite."
Alex Fender: "Can we just GO!? Being without my baby is making me feel all loopy... kicking someone's ass'll make me feel better."
Metal Man: "Not with the group stuck in two. If nobody's willing to compromise, I'll flip on it."
Kamui: *closes his eyes and sighs* "Go then, I will accompany you, but I do not know if our power is going to be enough against someone of Ganondorf's power."
Aribar: "It'll be a bit of a fight, but there is no way we can loose to Ganondorf in a straight fight. Some of us might loose our arms, but that's a small price to pay."
Julian: "Who's this guy again?" *thumbs at Kamui.*
Metal Man: "Very well." *Presses a few buttons.* "Final Destination, you requested? He has accepted the challenge and will be there." *Points at the Stadium* "Go forth, and fight him... but I'm warning you..."
Dragoshi: "Why Final Destination? I mean, why couldn't it be Flat Zo-Screw it."
Julian: "Why NOT Final Destination?"
Aribar: "Kamui's a semi-new recruit, Julian."
Alex Fender: "Cause he knows it so well, he's going to make robots and shit come outta nowhere!"
Metal Man: "I'll be watching what happens..." *sits down on a tree--the way into HQ, and hence, Final Destination, is open.*
Aribar: "... Belatedly thinking, are we ALL going to fight him? That seems a little one-sided.." *Starts towards the Stadium.*
Julian: "We've got the Stadium under control. How's he gonna be able to mess wit' it?"
Alex Fender: "Cause he's evil and shit!"
Julian: "No reason to mess up a winning formula." *Heads for the stadium.*
Dragoshi: "Because that'd only put us on even ground. I want us to have an advantage. That's why I was preferring tricking-Ya know what? Screw it. Let's just get this over with." *Mutters, and heads for the stadium as well.*
Alex Fender: *grunts* "I just want my ax back. Maybe this Ganonduber guy has it."
Julian: "We don't NEED an advantage. We just need an even playing ground."
Alex Fender: *follows the others.*
Metal Man chuckles. "Ignoring my own knowledge of Ganondorf's uncanny trickiness... this shall be interesting."
Metal Man (GM): The Questers go forth, into the Stadium. All they have to do is walk onto the Arena.
Alex Fender: *slooooowly peeks into the arena door...*
Aribar does so.
Kamui: *is on auto-follow, his hands in his pockets with his left hand occasionally fixing some strands of hair out of his face.*
Metal Man (GM): They walk onto the stage, which immediately forms. However, what strikes them as unusual is Ganondorf forming out of a purple mist, standing about 6'7" and holding a large, stone sword. He laughs at all of the Questers.
Ganondorf: "You wish to die already? Why can't you manage to kill yourselves by yourself?"
Dragoshi: *Looks at the stone blade* .oO(...Huh) "Because that would take forever?" :/
Alex Fender: "HEY! GREEN SKINNED DUDE! YOU GOT MY AXE?!":
Metal Man (GM): He's wearing the classic Ganondorf attire; faded dark magician's garb, complete with elaborate sleeves, and what must be armor.
Julian: "This comin' from someone we already beat up an' down the street at least 6 times already."
Ganondorf: "Yes... the one, which, as I inform you again, was possessed by a mindless being. You have never fought me, only my shadow."
Kamui: *looks towards Ganondorf, then raises his hand and waves over to Ganondorf* "Hiya redhead!"
Ganondorf: "I give you no preposition, my sword shall speak for my true power."
Metal Man (GM): He locks into combat stance.
Alex Fender: "HEY! I'm talkin' to you, greeny!"
Aribar: "I believe it shall take more than words to scare us, Ganondorf."
Ganondorf: "You are pathetically slow. Now... take this."
Metal Man (GM): He glows, floating into the air. Then he flashes pure white, and then streaks across the air towards Julian. *FLASH* *FLASH* *FLASH* *FLASH* *FLASH* He makes several lightning-fast slashes, almost too fast to see. Then he floats backwards and raises his sword upwards, and slashes it in a horizontal motion across the ground.
Alex Fender: "...SWEET MARY, MOTHER OF CREAM AND SUGAR!!"
Metal Man (GM): A massive tidal wave of energy flies at all of the Questers, slowly though. Finally, he gets into a defensive stance, charging something up. Hit, hit.
Dragoshi: *...That's slowly? Huh. In any case, Dragoshi tries to duck down, then do a spinning jump over it.*
Aribar holds up his hand and readies his hand in a spellcasting form, preparing for the worse... Which happens in the form of a gigantic wave. The elf tries to conjure up a defensive barrier!*
Metal Man (GM): Julian takes tons o' damage from Ganondorf's death-slash. Hit. More damage to Julian.
Ganondorf: "While you have had to start over, I was spared of such an event. I shall relish killing each and every one of you."
Metal Man (GM): There is no seeming weakness. However, the group can flee off the stage.
Dragoshi: "...Yea. Unlike some of you, I don't feel like committing suicide. I'm going back" .oO(To recoup and do something that'll actually be smart the next time we try this kind of thing again) *Tries to flee off the stage. e_e.*
Metal Man (GM): JDragoshi flies all the way out of the arena! The Arena is in HP mode... quite odd, yes. Indeed, somebody else has tampered with it... to ensure the Questers had a chance to leave. How interesting.
Ganondorf: "That shouldn't be possible!" *He shakes his head* "But I shall fight those who truly wish to battle me, then. Now... I shall get what I've craved for the longest time..."
Metal Man (GM): He powers up, his sword turning purple and then crackling with dark energy.
Alex Fender: "...ohhhhhh, crap."
Ganondorf: "Haaaaaa..." He makes a punch with it, aiming at Julian. "AAAAAAGHHHH!!!!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): *BLAM* Even more damage to Julian. It also sends him flying off the stage and through some walls for extra measure.
Julian: *KO!!*
Ganondorf: "Who else wants a piece of Ganondorf?" *He powers up again.*
Kamui: *watches on* "I told you fools it was a bad idea to charge in head first." *With that he turns and begins to leave.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui leaps off the stage.
Aribar debates what the best course of action would be... He knows that if he stays, it's going to hurt. And badly. It would look terrible if they all ran away, though... How did Ganondorf get this strong?! The elf tries to estimate if Ganondorf could actually kill him..*
Metal Man (GM): Chances are absurdly high. He is especially angry at previous Questers. He may even try to chop Aribar's other arm off.
Ganondorf: "You fools made the mistake of underestimating me. I have found a power greater than your pathetic Fighter Remote."
Aribar: "... How have you gotten so powerful?"
Ganondorf: "With a special mineral from Cinnabar island, replete with energy. It is the sequel to the so-called Rare Candy... and it's all mine!"
Alex Fender: "CANDY!"
Aribar edges closer to the edge of the stage.* "An interesting fact... One more question, Ganondorf.."
Ganondorf: "And with it, no one can stop me!" He takes out a cough-drop like piece of candy, unwraps it, and eats it. He glows. "Perhaps I should test it... on your other arm."
Aribar: "Hmp. I forfeit. I have no death wish." *Flee.*
Alex Fender: "HEY! GREENY! You ain't hurting that dude, no way, no how! Try your luck on me!"
Ganondorf: "Stand right there, and I shall 'try' my luck. However, it is more likely I shall crush yours into a million pieces."
Metal Man (GM): The only other person is a currently-KO'd Julian.
Alex Fender: *pauses... he looks left... he looks right... he looks behind him.* "...I'm the only one here?"
Aribar calls out to Alex, "I believe we made a tactical error!"
Ganondorf: "Stand before me and die like an honorable Quester." *He chuckles.*
Alex Fender: "...huh ...soooo... okay... erm... bye!" *there is NO WAY a newer Quester can take him out alone, especially without his ax! He makes a leap for the exit..*
Metal Man (GM): Alex barely escapes... Ganondorf stands and laughs.
Ganondorf: "Now that I have defeated the Questers... I shall destroy the stadium!!!"
Metal Man (GM): He floats up, and the ground rumbles, as the sound of hundreds of lightning bolts is heard. The sky goes dark as a tornado-like portal appears and rips open the top of the Stadium. It's like a gigantic black hole. Seats, chairs, the holo-projectors, you name it; the stadium itself is being ripped to pieces. It all seems lost until an arrow flies out of nowhere and lands into his neck.
Ganondorf: "Guh... who... dares?"
Metal Man (GM): Link appears and fires another one. Ganondorf plucks them out like pinpricks, but then he gets hit in the head by a missile.
Alex Fender: *scrabbles in the air like a Loony Toon would!*
Ganondorf: "Argh!"
Metal Man (GM): Finally, SIMBER appears and chucks a portal at Ganondorf. He fights with it, but is eventually warped out.
Metal Man (GM): The destruction ends, leaving the Stadium in ruins. The stadium area, at least... not the other rooms.
Alex Fender: "WHOO! That was a rush!"
Metal Man (GM): A golf clap is heard; Julian revives. Metal Man walks in, plucking a hunk of debris out of his shoulder.
Wolfman comes out, wearing a silly looking helmet.
Kamui: *stands there, his arms resting at his sides. He looks over to Metal, then sighs as he turns and begins walking away* "... Next time, when you're gonna run in to a fight without a plan, leave me out."
Metal Man: "Yes. You just totally pwned him here. He's been totally defeated."
Dragoshi: "See? I tried to tell you guys, but no."
Wolfman: *whistles* "...Metal, where DID you learn that language?"
Dragoshi: "Ay carumba." *He throws his hands up into the air, and sighs.*
Metal Man (GM): *He looks at the gigantic hole in the ceiling.* "Clearly, this has been a victory for the Golden Rule."
Aribar sights and sinks down to the arena's seats...* "I... Didn't realize he could become so ultimately powerful."
Deloth casually walks over and looks at the carnage, picking his teeth.
Wolfman: "Don't you mean the defeat of it?"
Dragoshi: "Clearly" *Fucking dripping with pure cosmic sarcasm right now.* "I think he was being sarcastic, Wolf."
Metal Man: "Because he has a new power source. I tried to warn you, but... you ignored me." *Shrugs* "You'd think I'd know, as I was working with him until earlier."
Deloth: "I take it things didn't go too well."
Metal Man: "But the good part is, I got a lock on what his capabilities are."
Dragoshi: "Your guess would be correct, Del."
Wolfman: "I was in hiding making a backup of some of the Stadium data."
SIMBER: "Yes. I have them here." *A hologram analysis of Ganondorf is completed.*
Julian: "Metal, maybe you want to mention this stuff before hand BEFORE we rush into battle like this, instead of just letting us wander off and learn our lesson the hard way."
Dragoshi: *Waits for the 'You didn't ask'*
Wolfman looks to Metal and SIMBER.
Metal Man: "Well, I didn't know he was that much more powerful. All I had to go on was a lack of anyone defeating or challenging him."
Dragoshi: "...'k."
Metal Man: "I knew he was sneaky, and that he'd fooled the Questers twice before."
Wolfman: "...alright, when do you want me to get started building the place back up?"
Metal Man: "Right now, but anyway." *He looks over the data.* "The data shows a strange influx of dark energies."
Deloth: "So what now? Find and capture that stuff on Cinnabar before he does this again?"
Wolfman will wait for Metal's analysis.
Metal Man: "I'm not sure if we should go to Cinnabar. Didn't it seem a little... convenient to you?"
Dragoshi: "He said it was all his, so I bet he's already gotten to the entirety of it as-is. And, yes."
Metal Man: "Hasn't the last pokemon location heavily implicated also been a trap?"
Dragoshi: "'Sides, that would be far too obvious."
Aribar: "But Metal, walking into traps is our specialty..."
Deloth gives Ari a deadpan look.
Metal Man: "Well, the problem is that Ganondorf remembered to put teeth in his this time. So we need him to walk into our traps."
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Metal Man: "This, however, will aid us, as he will now believe the Questers to be gullible."
Dragoshi: "Though the problem is, is that none of us are apparently good with working together on traps."
Julian: "See? Always a silver lining."
Metal Man: "But not a golden one."
Julian: "It's close enough."
Dragoshi: *Eyeroll* "Whatever..."
Metal Man: "We have to work together. So.."
Dragoshi: "Quite."
Metal Man: "We have two priorities now. This mess needs to be cleaned up..."
Dragoshi: "And they are?"
Metal Man: "And we need to get to the bottom of Ganondorf's power. What seems more useful at the moment?"
Julian: "Nuke Cinnabar from orbit. Or somethin'."
Dragoshi: "Getting to the bottom of Ganondorf's power."
Wolfman: "I'd rather Cinnabar Island not be nuked... just destroy the base. AFTER getting prepared. I'm staying behind to clean up."
Metal Man: "But the island has no recent activity on record, and I don't remember Rare Candy giving THAT much power..."
Dragoshi: "Yea..."
Metal Man: "Seems to be something of evil that'd originate elsewhere, as that was high class gravity magic. Magic he has never used before."
Aribar: "I'd say stealing Ganondorf's challenge would be a good thing to do... Cleaning up this stuff shouldn't take too long, and... Hopefully there aren't any matches soon."
Dragoshi: "Also, wasn't it supposed to have some sort of drawback as well? The Rare Candy, I mean."
Julian: "So lets go there an' talk to the locals. Surely they'd know if there's a strip-minin' operation goin' on."
Metal Man: "That sounds like a reasonable plan." *He looks to the other Questers.* "If the others feel like it."
Dragoshi: "No. Let's not. It just reeks of a trap."
Deloth: "You got a better idea?"
Aribar: "Personally, at the moment I feel as if we can do no right.."
Metal Man: "It's evil magic. We can always check a realm full of evil magic for it."
Wolfman just gets to work rebuilding... consider Wolfman on auto pilot.
Dragoshi: "Yeaaa... But, let's try not to stay in one place for too long if we try to do so."
Metal Man: "Dark World's made of it, Kamek's used it a lot, Ness' world has plenty of it... Heck, it'd be best if somebody mentioned the first thing that came to mind involving black hole magic."'
Kamui: *stands in one hall, his arms crossed in front of his chest with his head head bowed* "..."
Metal Man: "Alternatively, one can ask Cinnabar people what's up. All three of them."
Julian: "Better than none."
Aribar: "We might as well be made fools of twice in one day... Just have a warp ready for us or something. That is, if we go to Cinnabar."
Metal Man: "Perhaps... I think--" *KONK.*
Metal Man (GM): A lid drops from above, hitting Metal.
Wolfman: "Sorry about that."
Wolfman picks it up.
Deloth: "...You okay?"
Dragoshi: *Looks up* "...oh. 'K."
Metal Man (GM): Then a robot lands next to him. That... weird man with the felt hat.
Wolfman: "Next time, I'll start from the bottom."
Dragoshi: "Good idea."
Metal Man: "...I think this is not a good place to stand." *Moves to the right.*
Kamui: *walks in, looking around inside* "What? what happened?"
Wolfman will go auto-pilot... from the BOTTOM of the Stadium this time.
Metal Man (GM): *BZT* *KZT* The robot on the ground stirs.
Aribar: "... Greetings, strange robot who fell from the sky."
Julian: "...The hell?"
Dragoshi: "...Hm."
Kamui: *looks at the robot on the ground, raising an eyebrow.*
Metal Man (GM): It stands up, dusting itself off.
Deloth: "..."
Wolfman will... pay attention to this while cleaning.
E Li Three: "Aloha senors orange and purple. It has been five quintillion years since we last spoke! It is I, three Li E."
Wolfman just flat out STOPS. "...YOU AGAIN!"
Deloth: "...Want me to kill him now, or wait till later?"
E Li Three: "I overhead black and hole in the same sentence! That must mean electro-funny danger excitement! Like... that guy in the sky who hates pie and burns things with lye!."
Dragoshi: "...Oh. Huh. So, that's where you went."
Julian: "...Oh son of a BITCH."
Kamui: "... 30 seconds and he annoys me. -_-"
Metal Man: "Awakening him is technically also Julian's fault." *Smacked.*
Aribar: "Oh, the infamous robot I've heard so much about, but have only seen once or twice... Why are you... Umm... Okay.."
Julian: *Head in hands* "Why can't you just go away and stay GONE..."
Wolfman: "At least E Li Three brings some entertainment around here."
Dragoshi: "...Guy in the sky who-You mean Ganondorf? Or someone else?"
Wolfman: "What's the news?"
E Li Three: "Why am I eye? Why, I am Bill Nye!" *Begins dancing* "BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL GANONDORF THE UGLY GUY!"
Dragoshi: "'...I'll take that as a yes." >_>
Deloth: "...Let me kill him."
Wolfman: "No Deloth."
Metal Man: "..." *Steps away* "Anyone have a conveniently sized block of concrete?"
Deloth: "PLEASE let me kill him."
Kamui: *sighs and stands up straight. He looks over to Metal* "I can find some debris."
Wolfman: "I said no."
E Li Three: "Ganondorf has a new ability! And only I know, because his lightning accidentally revived me!"
Dragoshi: "Well, what is said ability, then?"
Wolfman: "...wait."
Aribar: "... Yes, do tell."
Wolfman: "...who ELSE can he revive?"
E Li Three: "But... you sound like stock investors who wear orange shorts... I'm unsure if I should tell you... Perhaps I should ask an adult first!"
Metal Man (GM): He picks up a box to the left and begins talking to it.
Dragoshi: "...I am an adult, though." >_>
Aribar: "... We're all mostly adults..."
E Li Three: "Hello, box. Should I tell stuff to weirdos?"
Wolfman: .oO(...of course, he ignores me.)
E Li Three: *Weird voice* "I'm Mr. Box, and I desire blood oranges! Yes, Mr. Box. That is the answer."
Deloth: "..."
Metal Man (GM): He turns around, and then hands Julian a banana.
Deloth looks around for something sharp and rusty to plunge into his own eye.
Julian: "..."
E Li Three: "I will give you your answer... if you first do a test!"
Julian: *takes the banana?*
Metal Man: "...Or you can ask people at Cinnabar."
Metal Man (GM): Julian sees it is a mundane banana. It is E Li Three brand, so it smells like a new car.
Aribar: "What sort of test?"
E Li Three: "The acid test. I need a volunteer. Preferably not silicon-based."
Deloth: "..."
Wolfman: "Well, that disqualifies me."
Dragoshi: "Well, I'm not silicon-based."
Deloth raises a hand tiredly.
E Li Three: "Now, this is the acid test."
Metal Man (GM): He walks to Deloth, pulls out a flask, and hurls it at him. *BLAM* Deloth is covered in acid.
E Li Three: "See? I have tested him."
Deloth: "THAAAAAAAAAGH!"
E Li Three: "Now... I need somebody for the strawberry test."
Deloth crashes to the floor, writhing in pain.
Kamui: O_O! *Looks towards E LI Three.*
E Li Three: "Preferably not made of potassium."
Deloth: "GET IT OFF--huh. I had forgotten about that tattoo there."
E Li Three: "Then just one more test, and then I tell you!"
Metal Man: "Or you can go to Cinnabar."
Dragoshi: "Someone just do the next test."
E Li Three: "Silence, non-funky pachinko-machine!"
SIMBER: *Appears.*
E Li Three: "Ack! The Blue ghost!"
Wolfman: .oO(And I thought I was the pachinko machine)
Julian: *Leaves >:(*
Aribar: "SIMBER'll do the test!"
Deloth continues burning on the floor. 911, dammit, 9 FREAKING 1 1!
SIMBER: "Speaking on behalf of sane people everywhere..." *Dumps a box of baking soda on Deloth, then punches E Li Three out.*
Wolfman just chuckles... where DID these two come from again?
E Li Three: "Ahck! Radish attack zonk... boop..."
Deloth: *whimper.*
SIMBER: "The answer is that Ganondorf used a magical spell to cast the Black hole."
Alex Fender: *walks back up to the group, eating a orange.* "Hey! I found the fridge!"
SIMBER: "E Li Three began transmitting that answer in braille after he burned Deloth."
Dragoshi: "...oh."
Julian: *Comes back with a sandwich.*
Aribar: "... That seems... Odd."
Dragoshi: "This is E Li Three."
Metal Man: "So then, Cinnabar, or we look for some sort of magic spell place?"
Dragoshi: "Of course it's odd."
Alex Fender: "Cinnamon buns! I love cinnamon buns!"
Dragoshi: "The latter, as I still think that Cinnabar could be too much of a trap..."
Julian: "Shinrabah." *Julian says in between bites of sandwich.*
Metal Man: "Ok... where would Ganondorf get a gravity spell?"
Deloth: "Pain..."
Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi with his power of FUZZY MEMORY tries to figure out where.*
Aribar: "I would not be against gaining god-like powers from candy or learning forbidden spells of supreme power."
Kamui: "..." *scratches his cheek* "Sorry, I wouldn't know anything of the sort back where I'm from."
Deloth: *getting back up to his feet* "For some reason, I keep thinking of... a spaceship."
Alex Fender: "Oo! Oo!"
Dragoshi: .oO(Nope. Nothin'...) *Tries again while digging into his memory to see if he can find anything*
Alex Fender: *raises his hand.*
Aribar also tries to think of realms where gravity magic is common...*
Metal Man: "Hm?"
Julian: *Eats a sammich while the others discuss gravity magic :O*
Wolfman: *continues to do repair stuff.*
Alex Fender: *grumbles as he is not called on. He decides to go searching for an axe... guitar, that is, wandering away from the others.*
Deloth: "...HOLD IT!" *points to Alex.*
Dragoshi: *Tries again to figure out where as well...*
Deloth: "What were you gonna say?"
Alex Fender: "Hmm?"
Julian: *Watches Wolf futilely try to piece together a multi-billion dollar stadium by himself.* "Wolf, hold it. Worry about the stadium later."
Deloth: "Out of morbid curiosity... what was your suggestion, Alex?"
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi would think... nearly every major Nintendo realm has a strong presence of evil magic. Upon which there would be many possibilities to make black holes.
Wolfman: "Julian, I wish to not get involved in exploring right now."
Metal Man (GM): Aribar would think... that spell seems to have been from a realm unlike Ganondorf's own.
Dragoshi: *Okay, sure. But which ones have a specific type of gravity magic of THAT caliber? Dragoshi once again tries to think, with this thought in mind...*
Julian: "So go do somethin' ELSE. You can't repair this whole place by yourself. I'll handle it."
Aribar sighs, now frustrated...* "I just... Can't think of anywhere that Ganondorf could have learned such a spell at.."
Wolfman: "...you can help if you want, but I wish to also take part."
Dragoshi: .oO(Dammit. I still have nothing. Just try to dig in deeper with the same thought in mind...)
Kamui: *sits at the sidelines of the group, listening with a silent stare blinking once every minute or so* "..."
Metal Man: "No more ideas, then?"
Julian: *shrugs* "I got nothin'*
Alex Fender: "Well, gravity magic comes from heavy places... why don't we go somewhere all heavy and get all strong against being heavy?"
Kamui: *raises his hand* "I have a question."
Metal Man: "And that is?"
Dragoshi: *Still trying to think about which realm specifically would be able to have gravity magic of that caliber.*
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi begins singing the Badger song.
Kamui: *lowers his hand* "Basically, Ganondorf seems to be running off dark magic, is there anything that can repel or cause heavy damage to person who uses such power?"
Metal Man: "Holy magic, especially the Triforce."
Alex Fender: "OO! Holy flashlight!"
Dragoshi: *Yes. His mind snapped like that. Someone hit him. Now.*
Metal Man: "But the pieces were split long ago."
Deloth reaches over and whacks Dragoshi on the head.
Kamui: "I guess we couldn't find said pieces, huh?"
Alex Fender: "Like, click, BOOM! 'GRAH, MINE EYES! THE MAGIC DOES NOTHING!'...yeah..."
Dragoshi: *And, back to normality* "...Thank you. It seems I thought a little too hard there." *Goes back to thinkin'...*
Deloth: "I'll say. I think you broke your brain."
Dragoshi: "I think that was the case."
Deloth: "...Alex, did your mother drop you on your head as a kid, by any chance?"
Alex Fender: "Eh? Nah, my mom died when I was like... two."
Deloth: "...oh." *How do you respond to that?!*
Dragoshi: *Sits down, legs crossed, and continues trying to think about what realm specifically has that kind of gravity magic...*
Deloth: "I'm... uh..." *Well, relieved, actually, but...*
Metal Man (GM): Likely the spell is from a world Ganondorf isn't known for going to before. For spells, that is.
Kamui: "... Well, I got no ideas as of the moment. So yeah, I'm ready to head out whenever."
Alex Fender: *thinks as well... he thinks hard... he wonders about something...*
Metal Man (GM): Alex thinks about... how spells are commonly written down on things.
Dragoshi: .oO(Okay, now what world would that be...) *Continues thinkin'*
Alex Fender: "...hey!"
Dragoshi: "Hm?"
Alex Fender: "I just had one of those... those things!"
Dragoshi: "A thought?"
Kamui: *looks to Alex* "An idea?"
Alex Fender: "THAT'S IT! AN IDEA!"
Dragoshi: "Do tell."
Alex Fender: "It sorta raped my skull."
Kamui: "Your brain must be so traumatized."
Alex Fender: "You know how... like... spells are written down on stuff??"
Dragoshi: "Like scrolls? And books?"
Metal Man: "Yes, I know."
Alex Fender: "Yeah! Maybe he has somethin' like that! Like, he went somewhere, and got a book!"
Kamui: "So somewhere that would have a library...?"
Dragoshi: .oO(Hmm... This may help. Now how many realms have gravity spells of that caliber Ganondorf used that write spells down in books and whatnot...) *Now starts thinking along this train of thought...*
Metal Man: "Okay... but... which book? There's a library in Koholint... there's one somewhere in Kanto... There's another one in the unknown maelstrom where Kuja and his weird friends came from..."
Alex Fender: "Mysterious library! Where ELSE would one gain weird information that kills good guys in the face? And if it's from an unknown maelstrom, well, that's just even BETTER."
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi would think there are not many such realms. However, it appears Alex helped find something anyway.
Dragoshi: "That makes sense, Alex..."
Metal Man: "Okay then... you think we should check that one out? It's a bit dangerous, but... I guess it might be it."
Alex Fender: *looks to Metal* "DID I HELP?!"
Dragoshi: "I think you did."
Alex Fender: "WHOO! Can you tell me where my ax is now? Or an ax? Or... something like that?"
Dragoshi: "Oh! And, Metal. Before the lot of us leave to said library..." *He would then pull out the old Star Board, and show it to him* "How do you get this thing to work, anyway?" >_>
Metal Man: "No, but the weapons and your ax should be possible very soon."
Alex Fender: "Sweeeeeeeeeeet."
Metal Man stares at the Star Board. "They have a proprietary super-power-source which is almost like a mini-Star. That'd take a whole specific mission to fix!"
Dragoshi: "I see. Then, I shall bother with that after we find out about Ganondorf's power then." *Zooms over to his room to put it somewhere safe, then zooms back to the arena.*
Kamui: "Well then, what's the plan?"
Metal Man flips on the warp. "You guys explore an ancient library flying through the remnants of a strange galaxy only made accessible to us lately."
Metal Man: "It's prone to have information on what spell he used."
Alex Fender: "Convenient!"
Metal Man: "The warp is open."
Alex Fender: "Blue-scado, we can too!" *jumps in!*
Dragoshi: "Thank you." *Enters the warp.*
Kamui: *walks in to the portal.*
Metal Man (GM): *WARP*WARP*WARP* WARP. The Questers arrive inside an ancient stone building, which appears to be floating inside a massive debris field. Everything, once brilliant and elaborate here, has faded. Golden torches now sag, crooked and melted. Grand red doors are broken off their hinges and full of holes. Elaborate carpets of many colors, burned and bloodstained. The Questers stand in the wreckage of the main room where one would borrow the books; ripped up notes and books are everywhere.
Alex Fender: "Trippy."
Metal Man (GM): Two elaborate staircases, left and right, go to separate wings; another door dead ahead goes somewhere else, and there is one behind the Questers. They all have signs.
Kamui: *looks to one book on the ground, slowly picking it up and looks it over*
Metal Man (GM): The one dead ahead is labeled 'Rare Book Conservatory.'
Dragoshi: "Very much so."
Metal Man (GM): Right wing is 'The Kain Wing' and the one to the left is 'The FuSoYa Wing', and behind the group is the 'Entryway'
Julian: *To the Rare Book Conservatory!*
Metal Man (GM): The book Kamui looks at is in an odd foreign language and faded. He can't get anything outta this scrap.
Kamui: *places the book somewhere out of the way, and looks around at the surroundings* "... Well then, what's the plan?"
Metal Man (GM): The Rare Book Conservatory unfolds before Julian's eyes as an even larger marble-rimmed room, full of cracks and with the imprints of dead bodies everywhere. Oddly, the shelves are untouched.
Dragoshi: *Follows Julian, who just had to leap before looking.*
Metal Man (GM): The only intact skeleton appears to be reaching at one of the shelves.
Julian: "Ain't this a bitch..."
Alex Fender: "Fu... So Ya?"
Metal Man (GM): There's also a strange lever on the wall, it seems untouched.
Alex Fender: *wanders over into the FuSoYa section, not paying attention to the others at the moment.*
Kamui: "..." *looks around, then follows on after Alex to make sure he stays out of trouble.*
Julian: *Don't suppose the shelves are in any kind of order.*
Metal Man (GM): FuSoYa section shows a large image of a magician of some kind. Oddly, he looks far older and different from, say, Charles. The shelves are in A-to-Z order. The same goes for the somewhat dim, but otherwise intact FuSoYa section. It has specifically magic texts, however they're written in an odd language and impossible to read as-is.
Julian: *Let's start with the G section...*
Metal Man (GM): A dim blue light illuminates that wing, which is somewhat small and cramped. Julian sees... "Guns and Gods, Volume I. Great ways to kill genocidal maniacs. Guy Fawkes is Dead Gum Chewers Association Official Regulations and Rules."
Julian: *Hey, that second book might be worth a look.* *But...* "Hmm. I ain't likin' how we've got all these dead people, but the shelves are untouched."
Metal Man (GM): There appears to be a lot of weird books, some even from Earth. Apparently, they're rare because of dislike of their contents, or perhaps their extra-dimensional nature.
Julian: "Especially that guy." *points at the skeleton.*
Alex Fender: "D'awww..."
Dragoshi: "...Yea."
Alex Fender: *looks to see if any books are missing.*
Dragoshi: "That definitely doesn't look good."
Metal Man (GM): The FuSoYa section has only about three books missing.
Alex Fender: "Hums. That's odd."
Kamui: *walks over to Alex* "What is it?"
Dragoshi: *Tries to look at the book the skeleton was trying to get from his current distance.*
Metal Man (GM): One in the A section, another in the C section, and a final one in the Z section.
Alex Fender: "There's only three books missing 'round here."
Julian: "I'm thinkin' there's a security system that I'm dead set against trippin'." *Julian does an off-hand glance to check if there are any books missing in here.*
Metal Man (GM): The Skeleton was reaching for 'How to Defeat All-Powerful UltraGods." Apparently one of a kind; a note says its author was killed by several Gods simultaneously for publishing their secret weaknesses.
Kamui: *blinks a few times, looking over the empty spots* "... Well, we should go and join back with the others." *He turns and begins walking off* "Come on."
Dragoshi: "I'm guessing that was the only copy of it." >_>;; "..." *Smacks self for sounding stupid, there. In any case, he checks the 'M' section.*
Metal Man: "Master Hand's Maniacal Monkey Collection", "Most Mad Book Ever Magical Illusions 401: Advanced class."
Alex Fender: *is too busy a'lookin'. He pulls out a random book and makes to read it, something from near the A section.*
Metal Man (GM): Alex reaches for a Rare book. His hand is zapped by an unseen force which prevents him from touching the book. A note falls out of the sky.
Alex Fender: "YEOWCHIES! My poor little human flesh!"
Metal Man (GM): 'PLEASE SUBMIT AUTHORIZATION BEFORE WITHDRAWAL'
Dragoshi: *Nothing there... So, Dragoshi just looks at the 'B' section...*
Alex Fender: "...authorization?...is it a note god?!"
Julian: *Looks for missing books in the Rare book section.*
Metal Man: "Bad babies of Battagalonia Babushka Babble Best Days of a Swordsman Black Magic History."
Metal Man (GM): Julian sees none missing. Whatever or whoever controlled it made sure no books escaped. It's pretty extensive. It'd take quite a while to look through them all.
Alex Fender: "OH, MIGHTY NOTE GOD! ARE YOU THERE?!"
Kamui: *walks back over to Alex* "What happened?"
Metal Man (GM): A note hits Alex in the forehead.
Julian: *Hmmm... Checks Mr. Skeleton for a library pass or something.*
Metal Man (GM): 'THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE DEVICE, IT CANNOT HEAR YOU.'
Dragoshi: *Looks for books about magical Black holes, also glancing at Black Magic History.*
Metal Man (GM): The Skeleton has a card showing a picture of an old Lunarian on it for some reason. Nothing else.
Alex Fender: "...IF IT'S AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE DEVICE, HOW CAN YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID TO GIVE ME THE NOTE THAT I WAS JUST GIVEN ABOUT THE FIRST NOTE YOU GAVE ME?!?!?"
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi thinks that perhaps the right book his here, but he would have to be able to withdraw a book first.
Julian: *Yoink.*
Metal Man (GM): An entire rectangle of filler paper appears out of thin air and drops on Alex.
Dragoshi: "..." *Was about to take the card, but hey, Julian did it for him, so meh.*
Metal Man (GM): The first, and only written sheet on it says... BECAUSE BREAD.
Alex Fender: *THUMP* "WHY MUST YOU HARM MY ADULA OBLONGODA SO?!?!"
Julian: *Julian noticed it first, Julian gets it :O*
Kamui: "Alex, we need to move." *He walks over and grabs Alex's other arm and begins pulling.*
Alex Fender: *is most likely dragged out.*
Metal Man (GM): The card itself isn't very valuable.
Kamui: *walks on along heading for where the other group went.*
Metal Man (GM): But the fact it shows a Lunarian, like the one Alex just saw in the FuSoYa library, must mean something.
Julian: "Hmmm..." *pockets it* "Nothin' else we can get outta this one. Let's bounce." *Julian exits the Rare place, and checks out the Kain Library. What fun that shall be :O*
Metal Man (GM): This library is rather unique; with an image of a heavily armored Dragoon of sorts at its head, it has books laying right out on tables to be used... one problem. Red-hot glowing grates of an unknown metal block the way in.
Alex Fender: *is currently being drug into the area that the others are by Kamui, with little swirlies in his eyes.
Metal Man (GM): Several skeletons are stuck to the grates, half-melted.
Dragoshi: *Follows...*
Julian: "...Huh." *Checks if they have any identification...*
Dragoshi: *He looks to see if any of the skeletons have anything heat-resistant.*
Kamui: *spots Dragoshi and Julian, standing Alex up* "Come on." *He says towards Alex, walking over to the other two* "Hey."
Metal Man (GM): Nope... no ID, no nothing. Some rotten armor, and some broken swords. That's all. It looks like they were running from something. The grate itself looks very thick and very hot...
Julian: "Alright... what else."
Kamui: *looks towards the burning hot grate, blinking once. He strokes his chin for a moment, then looks around.*
Metal Man (GM): It's kinda dark in here. On the other side, is a very, very shiny looking key, sitting on a table surrounded by some books.
Alex Fender: "...shiny key." *wakes up.*
Julian: "Go get it."
Dragoshi: *Looks at the key. He looks to see if it has a hole with some sort of loop of string tied through it.*
Alex Fender: "I ain't walking through this hot, black gate of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): It has a hole on the end, however it's all the way across the gate... No string on it.
Kamui: *brings his hands together, then begins doing a number of handsigns* "Lemme try something real quick, I need you all to stand clear."
Dragoshi: *Already is.*
Julian: *F That S.*
Kamui: *forms a number of ice shards between his fingers, then shoots them in to a spot just above the hot glowing crate* "I hope this works..."
(Apparently we stopped and picked up the session here.)
Metal Man (GM): The Questers were in the Kain wing of the unknown FF-library. They were looking at the wing, complete with books on tables... blocked by a gigantic red-hot grate of metal. There's a key to it, but it's all the way behind the grate. Back in the lobby, there's also the FuSoYa room, missing only a book from the A, C, and Z sections respectively. The Rare books room is another wing, complete with books nobody can seemingly withdraw. And the only unexplored hallway is apparently where the original entranceway was.
Deloth: ""Mind if I look around a little on my own?"
Kamui: *looks to Deloth, then shrugs his shoulders lightly with a calm, near uncaring look* "Go on ahead, somehow outside-the-box thinking would probably work."
Digifanatic: *warps in, but won't say anything until he knows what's going on for sure.*
Deloth heads over to the rare books wing... sounds interesting, if not rewarding.
Metal Man (GM): Digi is waiting for nothing. The Questers are looking for a spellbook that'd detail Gravity magic. And this is a gigantic library. Deloth would enter the well-trodden Rare Books wing, complete with skeletons, untouched books, and Quester footprints.
Deloth blinks as the skeletons come into view.
Deloth: "...What the twinking foop went ON here?!"
Dragoshi: "...Stuff, i'd presume."
Digifanatic decides to check out the FoSoYa room... there's probably a pattern to the missing books...
Deloth carefully walks over to the bookshelves, half-expecting something to blow up in his face...
Metal Man (GM): Deloth would see there are plenty of books in here. Skeletons of the dead... and not much else. Remember, the Questers are looking for a Gravity book.
Chancé: "FuSoYa? I thought that was that guy who released a magic wand that made realty appear glitchy and have extra images?" *looks over the books also.*
Deloth looks at some of the book titles. Couldn't hurt to look again, I suppose.
Digifanatic first decides to compare the titles of books around the gap in the A section...
Metal Man (GM): The Fu-So-Ya room is complete with magic books. The only missing ones are from the A, C, and Z sections.
Dragoshi: *So, anyway, that thar Dragoshi would then search the Rare Books room to see if there's anything related to gravity among them.*
Metal Man (GM): Digi would see the pattern is there's one book missing. Nothing else. And they're organized by alphabetical order.
Digifanatic is looking for the titles of the books that are next to the missing book.
Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, Deloth sees the rare books are a lot of weird stuff, but nothing spell-like. Plus they can't seemingly be grabbed; some field blocks access to them.
Digifanatic: *Looking for common words and such that might raise concern as to what's missing.*
Deloth: "...Darn."
Metal Man (GM): Digi sees "Alchemical Conjurations - Blank spot - Alchemy 101."
Dragoshi: "...Maybe..." *Dragoshi exits the room, and heads over to the FuSoYa wing... room... whatever.*
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi enters that room.
Deloth heads over to the FuSoYa wing... maybe he can either find a Gravity book or somethin' to do with fire. Lots of fire.
Metal Man (GM): Digi is staring at hard-to-read book titles, ignoring the fact that only three books are missing. One from the A section, one from C, and one from Z.
Chancé follows the other too (will be full at K in a second)
Digifanatic: .oO(Hmm... alchemy...) *Checks the titles of the two books in the C section that surround the missing book from there.*
Dragoshi: "...Huh. Wonder what happened to those three books..."
Digifanatic: "Well, the first book has to deal with alchemy..."
Kamui: *follows on after Dragoshi, not really knowing what else to do* "..."
Metal Man (GM): The C spot is between 'Carving Living Status' and 'Carving Runic Symbols' Kamui would remember the group is here to look for a gravity spell book.
Dragoshi: "Regardless." *Dragoshi checks to see what the Z section contains.*
Metal Man (GM): This place is a huge jackpot for spell books. Deloth sees 'Fire Magic 101' 'Firaja- the lost art' 'Fire Elementals' Lots of Fire stuff.
Deloth: "...Hmm..."
Metal Man (GM): The Z spot is missing the book between 'Zeta Spells' and 'Zilch in Magic: A primer.'
Deloth shifty-eyes at the others, then takes those three books from the shelf and starts looking through them.
Digifanatic: .oO(Alchemy and carving... between Li and Ru... another runic book?)
Kamui: *looks around, searching for the gravity book, or any clues as to where it might of gone.*
Digifanatic walks over to Z to see what Dragoshi's discovered. "Any idea on the Z book?"
Metal Man (GM): Deloth would look... The books are written in a strange runic symbol language he can't read. Kamui finds nothing.
Kamui: *sighs lightly* "I should of paid attention in seeking class."
Deloth: "...Dangit, if I can't find a Gravity book, I at least want to leave with SOMETHING!"
Dragoshi: *Tries to take the Zeta Spells book...*
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi takes it.
Deloth: "...Dex, I suppose you can't translate this, can you?" *scans one of the pages.*
Dragoshi: *Opens it up to see if it's readable.*
Dex: "It is an ancient magical language, one from Kuja's realm. Unknown."
Metal Man (GM): Kamui finds the G section, but he can't seem to concentrate enough to find Gravity.
Deloth hangs onto the books anyways... you never know.
Kamui: *sighs, rubbing his head and blinks once* "Dang, I won't find anything at this rate."
Deloth: "...Oh, right, mission." *walks over to the G section and searches for a Gravity book.*
Dragoshi: *Assuming that it isn't readable... So, he puts the book away. He then moves over to the A section to search for a book on Alpha spells, assuming that if there's spells being classed by greek letterage, then...*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth and Dragoshi hit one another simultaneously, both taking damage.
Deloth: *KLONK.*
Digifanatic then takes a look at that gap... .oO(Zeta and Zilch...)
Dragoshi: *...Right. Well, let's try that again...*
Deloth rubs his head and goes back to searching... maybe this time it won't turn into a comedy routine.
Digifanatic: *Out loud, trying to see if someone picks anything up* "Alchemy, carving, between zeta and zilch..."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth grabs a book: Gravity Magic 101. Clearly it'd be in there... but... It's more gibberish.
Deloth: "Paydirt... sorta."
Metal Man (GM): However, a weird bookmark... which says 'Entrance Hallway' is in it.
Kamui: *Sits to the side, resting his head in his palm sighing softly.*
Dragoshi: *Took the Zeta book with him, but meh. :/ In any case... Dragoshi continues searching for the book on Alpha spells.*
Deloth: "...Eh?" *pulls the bookmark out and looks at it.*
Digifanatic tries to think if there are supposed to be two copies of Carving Runic Symbols, and one of them is missing... especially if another missing book has to do with alchemy.
Bookmark: 'Gravity Spells--unreadable, without supplement in Rare books section, accessible only from the Entry Hallway, through the Kain library.'
Deloth: "Hey, guys, I think I've hit paydirt over here!"
Deloth shifts the Fire books to under his arm so that he can hold the Grav 101 book and bookmark... wait, do you need a library card for this place?
Chancé walks over to Deloth to see what he found.
Metal Man (GM): Digi would realize it would not be a copy, no copies in here. Deloth couldn't tell from being in here whether or not he needs a library card. The lobby had stuff related to that.
Digifanatic: .oO(No, wouldn't be another Runic Symbols book...)
Deloth: "First, though, I need to check out something else."
Digifanatic heads back over to A...
Deloth heads to the lobby to see if he can find some place to get these books.
Digifanatic: "Okay, Dragoshi, we have a missing alchemy book, a missing book on carving things, and some odd book between Zeta and Zilch."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth enters the lobby. The ancient lobby thing has a 'book checkout counter'. A skeleton is slumped over it.
Deloth: "..."
Digifanatic: "I thought the alchemy book and carving one would be similar, since the blank area was found next to the runic symbols book, but what would be in the Z section?"
Dragoshi: "How can you assume that said books would be related to the things said missing books were between?" :/
Deloth just does so, attempting to ignore the skeleton...
Metal Man (GM): Deloth shoves away the skeleton and put the books there.
Digifanatic: "I'm not saying it is so, but I wouldn't be surprised."
Metal Man (GM): A floating stamp opens up the books one by one and stamps a new due date on each: A week from now. It then generates a card with Deloth's name and face on it and hands it to him. Then it vanishes under the counter.
Deloth: "Oh, um... thanks, whoever or wherever you are."
Dragoshi: *Got nothing. :/* "...Right."
Chancé: "I wonder what the penalty for being late is?"
Deloth: "...By the way, would you happen to have a translator for these?"
Digifanatic: "Oh, hang on..."
Deloth: *slips the card in with the rest of his stuff.*
Digifanatic: "I've got it..."
Metal Man (GM): It hands Deloth a copy of the bookmark he already has.
Deloth: "Ah, right..." *stumbles back to the rare books wing with the load of books he's carrying.*
Digifanatic looks for a book database or card catalog...
Deloth: *Field's still there, I suppose.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth cannot access those books... hmmm...
Deloth thinks for a second, then puts down his books and takes out his brand-new library card.
Metal Man (GM): Digi sees there is no such thing, the lobby's records appear to have been chewed up by a rabid dog. The bookmark spins again.
Deloth: "Umm..." *takes the bookmark and taps the field with it.*
Dragoshi: *Continues searching for the other books on Greek-letter type spells. Seeing as he already has Zeta and whatnot, he might as well look for the other related ones. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): Another piece of paper appears and lands on Deloth's head. 'You cannot access the rare books from in here. Do as your bookmark says.'
Digifanatic thinks about it again and heads over to the check out desk...
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi finds them all... but they don't seem to be useful. Deloth get: ADD.
Bookmark: 'Gravity Spells--unreadable, without supplement in Rare books section, accessible only from the Entry Hallway, through the Kain library.'
Dragoshi: *Well, why? Aside from the fact, that, yanno. It's unreadable?*
Deloth: "...D'oh."
Metal Man (GM): Unreadable. Plus they seem irrelevant to this mission.
Deloth: *picks up his load of books and heads to the Entry Hallway.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth wanders into the entrance hallway. It's a long hall which ends abruptly outside at a gigantic void...
Deloth: "I have GOT to pay more attent--oh boy."
Metal Man (GM): ...However, the bookmark glows, and a door to the right opens for Deloth.
Deloth opens the door and heads through. Man, this place is nuttier than the library from Myst.
Dragoshi: *Yeaa... but, whatever. :/ He's just taking them for further study. :p. ...Unless someone has a problem with that? >_> Regardless, Dragoshi decides to search for any other Gravity-related books.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth walks his way... ...interesting. This door leads all the way into the Kain Library, behind the grate. The key is Deloth's for the taking. As are the weird books laying around... which read 'How to withdraw rare books'
Deloth snags it. Yeeha!
Deloth then picks up one of the books and reads it.
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi finds several. All of them extremely specialized, none mention black holes. Deloth sees the text change to be readable. The gist of it; 'Take the key, into the rare book library. Spell out the letters of the books missing from the Fu-So-Ya section by writing in the air with the key. Then insert the bookmark, and you shall get the reference book you need.
Dragoshi: "They don't mention black holes, though maybe... They could be of use for preparing against some sort of Gravity spell-based assault." *He looks to see if any of those books are related to how to defend against an assault involving said spells.*
Deloth adds THAT book to his load. He tries to leave with it.
Kamui: *sits aside, standing and leaning against a wall with his arms resting crossed along his chest. His eyes closed, his head bowed, he remains silent, waiting for the whole searching to end.*
Digifanatic sees if he can enter the Kain wing, just to see what Deloth's doing and if he can help.
Deloth: *Ah, well, never mind. Heads back to the Fu-So-Ya wing for a sec.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth can leave with that, yes.
Digifanatic: *And they meet halfway...*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth enters the Fu-So-Ya wing.
Deloth: "Hey, Drago, are there any books missing from this wing?"
Digifanatic: "A, C, and Z."
Dragoshi: *Points to the A, C, and Z sections.*
Deloth: "Cool." *runs to the Rare book library.*
Digifanatic: "Let's go."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth is now in the Rare book library. Go go one-man mission Deloth!
Dragoshi: *Follows.*
Deloth then puts the books down onto the floor for one last time, shifts the key into his hand, and writes A, C, and Z into the air.
Metal Man (GM): The air sparkles; the key vanishes. The bookshelves glow, looks like Deloth could stick the bookmark into them.
Deloth: *Magic bookmark insert power GO!*
Metal Man (GM): *CLICK* A book pops out. 'Runic to English for Absolute Dummies'
Deloth: *Too excited to be offended! What's in it?*
Digifanatic: "Oh, here we go."
Dragoshi: "Nice..."
Metal Man (GM): Lots and lots of symbols... oooh. And some weird magic. Deloth opens the cover, and suddenly the book 'Gravity Magic' is readable in English. In fact, everyone in the area can now read the books they have.
Deloth: "...Yes!" *flips through that Gravity book first. He checks if it is important.*
Metal Man (GM): Yes, it is important.
Digifanatic: *basically reading along.*
Metal Man (GM): It, in fact, determines...
Dragoshi: *And, with that... Dragoshi heads back to get the other Greek Letter spellbooks! >_> He would then run back in and search the Rare books section for any books related to black holes. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): Ganondorf's magic was NOT Final Fantasy magic.
Deloth: "..."
Metal Man (GM): Even in the 'See other volumes' section, it lists no strange all-destroying black holes.
Deloth: *Er... well, so much for that.*
Metal Man (GM): At least, not ones like the one you saw.
Deloth starts studying those Fire books.
Metal Man (GM): Interestingly, it refers to another library for cases of strange gravity magic. This one is a bit easier to find, too... 'Mushroom Kingdom Official Library' However, somebody or something's been watching you, as the lights suddenly dim, and the building shakes violently.
Deloth: "..." *slams the Fire book shut and takes out his sword.*
Dragoshi: "...Huh. Interesting." *Heads over to the check-ou-...Nevermind. Dragoshi just quickly puts the greek letter spellbooks he took, and waits...*
Metal Man (GM): The first thing that appears is Kuja. Ironically, he does not look evil, nor angry. Rather, he seems concerned.
Dragoshi: "...Oh. Huh. Hello."
Deloth: "...Uh... hi."
Dragoshi: *Surprised. Somewhat. I guess.*
Kuja: "I see you found this library. Very good... indeed, it appears your foe was a user of magic, I presume?"
Dragoshi: "Yes."
Digifanatic: "Yeah..."
Deloth: *as he desperately tries to sort out why KUJA decided to show up here* "Yes..."
Kuja: "Unfortunately, your goings on have attracted the presence of what originally destroyed this realm. Have you ever wondered why I originally appeared as a ghost?"
Kamui: *looks towards the Kuja illusion, walking towards and around it, looking as if he was studying it* "..."
Dragoshi: "...Oh. Well. That is just freaking beautif-...Maybe. Why?"
Chancé: "Ghost?"
Kuja: "My plans were so successful that I became all-powerful God of this realm. However, another being of ultimate destruction, Necron, appeared and decided to destroy it all, including me. The other timelines of this realm were suitably ended by their own form of chaos..."
Deloth: "And he's decided to come back to kill us?"
Dragoshi: "Interesting." *Decides to write this down...*
Kuja: "He destroyed himself, so no. Something worse. Something left over after everything was destroyed."
Dragoshi: "Is it related to The Void?"
Kuja: "No."
Digifanatic: "Phew."
Kuja: "I have come to give you a choice; fight it, and perhaps save this realm, or flee, and fight it later."
Kamui: *stops and takes a few steps back* "What happens if we do the latter?"
Kuja: "You may yet defeat it now if you are tricky enough; however I cannot be sure. Your powers keep on changing, even I cannot foresee where they will go. Nothing. This library is indestructible. It will appear, see you are not here, and vanish."
Deloth: "But it'll keep tracking us?"
Kuja: "It cannot leave this realm."
Dragoshi: "...I doubt we'd stand much of a chance against such a being at our current strength. That, and I highly doubt most of us- Myself included, could be tricky."
Chancé: "Kuja, how powerful is it, really?"
Kuja: "You may engage it at will... now, your portals would usually work, however this realm is volatile. Allow me." *He makes a portal of his own* "If you wish to leave now, this is your ticket--just remember to return any books you took."
Dragoshi: "I mean, best thing I did strategy-wise was crash platforms into Metal Man, and even then that was mostly brute-forcing crap."
Kuja: "It is called the Abyss Weapon. It is incredibly powerful, but possesses a very specific weakness. It carries a very powerful item on it. If you killed it, you'd get that item."
Metal Man (GM): *Rumblerumble.*
Dragoshi: "Interesting."
Kuja: "You may wish to leave now, before it is too late."
Deloth: "...Even so, I think it might be best if we waited until later to fight it..."
Chancé: "I think I agree."
Dragoshi: "Quite." *Would proceed to head over to the portal, unless anyone objects.*
Deloth: "Three to one, it's settled." *grabs his books and heads for the portal... and now I must leave. 'Night.*
Kamui: *watches the others, then waves to Kuja* Thanks. *He walks off to the portal, then steps through.*
Digifanatic: "Yeah, thanks a lot for the info."
Chancé: "we will be back to stop it. *heads to the portal*"
Kuja: "Good luck. I myself must warp to another portion of this realm... I lack the necessary knowledge to defeat it." *He vanishes shortly after the Questers do.*
Metal Man (GM): Mission Completed.
(I went on to do yet another mission. It was short and complemented this one and came right after it, however, so this log is a double feature!)
Metal Man (GM): The Questers are at HQ. Back at the wrecked Stadium area. Metal Man is still surveying the damage. Wolfman is tirelessly (but slowly) putting whatever he sees as damaged back together.
Wolfman: .oO(...need... something... to... do...)
Metal Man: "Still no leads on Ganondorf... though the library thing was interesting. Much moreso than Julian charging head-first at Ganondorf."
Wolfman: Wolfman's motions are going slow... even for him.
Dragoshi: "Yep... Damn idiot should've listened to my idea. Even if we didn't succeed on that, we prolly' would've gotten more info that way."
Kamui: *walks in, looking around. He looks over to Wolfman* "You alright over there?"
Dragoshi: "And, if by some insane miracle things went really well, we prolly' could've temporarily incapacitated him." :/ "But, that is all in the past."
Wolfman: "...huh?" *puts down another big beam* "...sorry, must not recall you."
Wolfman picks up said beam and goes back to work.
Metal Man: "Yes, the future is..."
Wolfman: .oO(...need... vacation...)
Metal Man: "Wolfman acting weird, Stadium damaged, more Ganondorf magic investigation could be good... Bowser AWOL, Luigi presumed kidnapped... We should really do something with Grodus too."
Digifanatic: "Yeah... too much to do at once..."
Dragoshi: "...Dig into his memory banks and see what info he has?"
Wolfman: "I'm not THAT weird Metal! I'm just driven!" *raises a fist to Metal, only to realize... he was holding the beam.*
SIMBER: "Already did that, it's mostly inane predictions about us losing."
Wolfman (GM): Said beam conks Wolfman in the head... Wolfman has fainted!
Dragoshi: "Ah. Got any examples?" :/
Digifanatic: *stares at Wolf* "He may want to take that back."
Dragoshi: "And is the stuff that isn't inane predictions important?"
SIMBER: "The Questers will lose due to the superior evil of Ganondorf! The Questers will lose from infighting!"
Digifanatic: "Ooooof course."
Dragoshi: "Aside from that. And that."
SIMBER: "The Questers will lose from E Li Three!"
Digifanatic: "Typical egotism."
SIMBER: "Julian will fight Metal Man to the death! It's like a bad fortune cookie."
Digifanatic: "Okay, THAT one isn't true."
Kamui: *sighs, crossing his arms over his chest* "..."
Metal Man: "Anyway, what do you guys want to do? There's lots... and lots... and too many things to do. So to narrow it down, you guys tell me what's important to you."
Digifanatic: "I'm a bit torn between Luigi and Bowser right now."
Kamui: *shrugs his shoulders* "Whatever that doesn't have to do with searching or knowledge."
Digifanatic: "Heh."
Chancé: "Hmm..." *Looks over the choices*
Metal Man: "Ah, well. Bowser's in Mute City. Luigi... beats me."
Dragoshi: "I'm interested on the subject of the magic investigation and Bowser..."
Metal Man: "Wolfman acting weird, Stadium damaged, more Ganondorf magic investigation could be good... Bowser AWOL, Luigi presumed kidnapped..."
Metal Man: "The magic stuff is right in town, however the librarian is a bit eccentric, and it'd involve yet more knowledge related stuff..."
Dragoshi: "Though, I can't decide. So..." *He pulls out a coin. And flips. Nope. No HALF-DOLLAR REAGAN!! You'll just have to settle for generic coin.*
Metal Man (GM): It lands on heads.
Metal Man: "Bowser, on the other hand, makes no real hiding about his gig in Mute City. He should be beaten up and sent to this realm."
Kamui: *raises hand* "I'll take on Bowser!"
Digifanatic: "Hmm... I like that concept."
Dragoshi: "Ehh... We can deal with the library a little later then. So, how 'bout that Bowser?"
Metal Man: "Hides out in a gang compound in Mute City. He ousted the local guys. Captain Falcon says he currently deals in rigging races. You'd just have to bust in and then bust him. We'd send him to this realm for proper dealing-with then."
Dragoshi: "Makes sense."
Digifanatic: "Alright..."
Kamui: *adjusts the leather straps on his left arm* "I'm good to go."
Chancé: "I say we take a look into Ganondorf's magic. It might just help us sort out this mess?"
Metal Man: "If... the other three like to read books." *chuckles.*
Kamui: "Pht..."
Dragoshi: "I sometimes do... But, bad memory and all that."
Chancé: "Ignore what I just said. Luring Bowser sounds interesting."
Metal Man: "Luring him instead of attacking him? Hm. What would he chase afte-- Princess Peach. Yes."
Dragoshi: "Yep."
Metal Man: "Of course, we wouldn't want the real Princess to be in danger." *smiles evilly.*
Chancé: "Hmm... One of us needs to dress up--"
Digifanatic: "So we hire Kirby. Kidding."
Chancé takes a step back from Metal...
Metal Man: "Kirby???" *Thinks* "...too short."
Digifanatic: "And round."
Dragoshi: *Also takes a step back.*
Metal Man: "So... which one of you could fool Bowser into thinking you're Peach?"
Kamui: *raises an eyebrow, then sighs as he goes over to the warp and waits there.*
Digifanatic: "Not it."
Metal Man: "I don't care how you do it, costume, hologram, or even voice alone. Bowser isn't -very- intelligent..."
Dragoshi: "Also not it."
Chancé: "If only that Quester from the history books were here, Darkdata? was it. He had those weird candies that..."
Metal Man: "Oh yeah, those candies."
Dragoshi: "...You have those?"
Digifanatic: "Jigglypuff? If anything, she could sing Bowser into sleeping and we haul him through the portal."
Metal Man: "I'm the ultimate packrat. Of course I have those. Somewhere in this room... somewhere. Bowser is prone to punching, burning, and chewing on Jigglypuff. Maybe if you bribed Jigglypuff enough."
Dragoshi: "...'K." *Goes to search for them, then.*
Digifanatic: "Or Zelda... when it's clear, we get her to go to Sheik and then she's usually nimble enough to escape the scene."
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi would find them alongside a key, a disk labeled 'Klumsy's will', and another box full of 'ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE MILK'
Metal Man: "You could have Zelda do it, yes. You'd just need to talk to her, she's currently wandering one of the nearby halls."
Digifanatic: "Hmm... I'll go for it. Give me a few." *heads to talk to Zelda.*
Chancé: "besides, even if one of us turned female, none of us have blond hair right?"
Metal Man (GM): Digi quickly finds Zelda, en route to somewhere.
Digifanatic: "Hello, Princess. How's it going?"
Metal Man: "And I wonder if the candies would work after five years..."
Dragoshi: *Takes the candy.* "Yea. That's a good question."
Zelda: "Hello Quester. I was just on my way back home. Anything important happening?"
Chancé: "A wig, some padding... maybe..."
Digifanatic: "Well, perhaps we'd like you to lure Bowser for us in our upcoming mission."
Dragoshi: "Oh, well. I guess we'll have to find someone to test it out!" >_> *Looks at Kamui.*
Kamui: *yawns and falls asleep by now.*
Zelda: "Why would I want to do that?"
Dragoshi: *Tries to throw the candy into Kamui's mouth while he's yawning before he sleeps.*
Digifanatic: "Basically, we're going to bust him for all of his shenanigans at Mute City. Figure to get Bowser lured so he enters our trap, and afterwards, we interrogate him for his doings..."
Metal Man: "Alas. Kamui is not awake to object or accept."
Digifanatic: "Cut him down in his prime, alright?"
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi hits Kamui in the mouth with the strange candy. It causes Kamui's hair to turn orange. Nothing else.
Metal Man: "Hm... I shouldn't have stored it so close to my phazon.."
Chancé: "Pass me one, maybe the others are better."
Kamui: *coughs and sits up* "What the heck?!"
Dragoshi: "Huh. Dangit." *Tosses one over to Chancé* "'K."
Zelda: "Er... maybe... I don't really believe it's that important... can't you pretend to be Peach?"
Chancé eats it for a laugh.
Kamui: *looks to his hair, patting it with his head. He then looks over to the others* "You could of just asked!"
Metal Man (GM): It works... for Chance. But it also makes him grow a mustache!
Dragoshi: "..." *Laughs* "Nice mustache."
Metal Man: "Alas. They did not ask. This is why my mouth is made of steel and not open unless I need to eat something."
Chancé: "... I hate facial hair..."
Digifanatic: "We're trying to figure that bit out right now... those crazy old gender-swappers from the past era..."
Chancé heads to the washroom to shave it off.
Dragoshi: *And, for the sake of it, Dragoshi eats one too. Because bread. :p*
Metal Man (GM): There are only three other candies left.
Zelda: "...Do you really need to do that? Bowser's... not very intelligent."
Digifanatic: "I figured we could use you so you could transform to Sheik in case things got bad, you being a bit more nimble that way."
Zelda: "I think anyone in a wig and a dress could probably fool him."
Chancé comes back still female with no mustache.
Zelda: "At least, last time I saw him try to kidnap a POSTER of Princess Peach..."
Kamui: *walks over to Zelda* "So why don't you do it?"
Dragoshi: *Actually, no. He doesn't eat it. He saves it with the other two.*
Digifanatic: "Wait, WHAT!?" *laughs at that comment* "I like that idea."
Chancé: "... I want one of those candies for study in my cooking... If you do not mind Dragoshi."
Dragoshi: "Maybe we could replicate the can-"
Metal Man (GM): Kamui's amazing hearing capabilities backfire. In addition to hearing Zelda, he hears the pipes. The electricity... ...mice running between the walls! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Digifanatic: "I wonder if there any spare posters of the fighters..." there are any.*
Dragoshi: "Get out of my mind." *Sticks his tongue out at Chancé. He then tosses a candy over to 'im.*
Metal Man (GM): Well. That's the kind of hearing Kamui would have if he could hear Zelda from many feet away.
Digifanatic walks back to the Bigger Room.
Metal Man: "What'd you find, Digi?"
Digifanatic: "Metal... do we have any posters of Peach?"
Metal Man: "Yes. They're used as advertisements."
SIMBER: "How many do you need, and what size?"
Crystal: "Thank you."
Digifanatic: "Zelda said that Bowser's so dumb he tried kidnapping one of those..."
Crystal: "Ack! What happened to my voice?"
Metal Man: "I see."
Dragoshi: *...falls over, laughing.*
Metal Man: "Perhaps we should have him try to kidnap a poster then."
Digifanatic: "It's hilarious, and I like it. As for size, something about the size of Peach herself."
Dragoshi: *And, yes. He's laughing in response to Chance's reaction, and Bowser being that dumb.*
Crystal: "I guess I could do the voice."
SIMBER: "Very well." *POOF* A rolled up poster appears in Digi's hands.
Crystal: "Oh this is horrible."
Digifanatic: "Even if it's a bit off, he'll probably think she ate a Super or Poison Mushroom."
Dragoshi: *Still laughing* "Oh, god. You could say that. It's freaking- *Laughs* killing me!"
Metal Man: "Very well, all you need to do is probably put up the poster and wait for him to see it."
Digifanatic: "Hmm..."
Metal Man: "The warp is open."
Digifanatic: "Should I unroll the poster for a second?"
Metal Man: "Sure."
Dragoshi: *Stops. Gets up. Dusts himself off, then ahems.* "Right. Anyway... We're ready now, right?"
Digifanatic: "Alright... Chancé...or whatever you call yourself right now... just step behind this for a second." *unrolls the poster and holds it out to his side.*
Crystal: *mumble* "Stupid slow reacting candies..." *mumbles* *Steps behind the poster.*
Dragoshi: "Wow. I haven't seen this level of silliness since... Well. Five years ago."
Metal Man (GM): It appears to be a life-size picture of Peach. Up to date, too.
Crystal: "If I ever meet Darkdata in real life I am going to force feed him 100 of his candies."
Metal Man (GM): One of a large series of posters.
Dragoshi: "Eh. Could be worse, Chance. Though... I don't know how, but it can."
Crystal: "It is worse, I sound like my sister, Crystal."
Digifanatic: "Okay, very good." *rolls the poster back up when he sees the comparison between it and Femi-Chancé and is ready to warp.*
Kamui: "Are we ready to go now?"
Crystal: "If she ever got wind of this..."
Dragoshi: "...Still could be worse. I mean, sounding like-Ah, nevermind."
Metal Man nods.
Metal Man (GM): The warp is open.
Digifanatic: "Yeah, let's go." *holds poster in his left hand and warps.*
Kamui: "..." *turns and walks over to the warp, then steps through.*
Dragoshi: "...We'll be sure to keep it under wraps, then." *Pats Chance on the back in semi-comfort/confidence, and walks on over to the warp.*
Crystal enters the warp while swaying... and notices and corrects it back to his normal walk.
Metal Man (GM): WARP. Location: The streets of Mute City, in front of Bowser's big club, the 'King Koopa'. Hordes of tough guys on bikes parked here and are apparently inside the club. Two Koopa troopas wearing sunglasses block the door in for the uninvited. The Questers appear in an alley out in front of the club, out of view. There's several broad building walls in view of the club.
Digifanatic: *checks for windows.*
Metal Man (GM): The club has plenty of them.
Digifanatic: *w* "Hmm... break in and crash the party, try to coerce the Troopas, or beat up the Troopas?"
Metal Man (GM): The Questers would notice, that the top floor has a window overlooking this street. Occasionally cars drive down this street. Not in the alleyway the Questers are in, though.
Kamui: *looks towards the building, then the two Koopa Troopa. He then turns his attention to as much of the building as he can* "I can go up alongside the building."
Digifanatic: "Hmm... if you think you can sneak in that way, go for it. We could go through the main entrance while you hit the back way in."
Kamui: *Nods his head* "Shall I go first, or you wanna run a distraction first?"
Digifanatic: "Hmm... why don't you head in first? If we go bombastic and if someone intelligent spots us, they may suspect others to be coming in somewhere."
Crystal: "Allow me to make the distraction... Be ready to move Kamui... Digi speaks sence."
Kamui: *looks over to Digi, then Lucent. He looks back towards the building* "Yeah, ok..." *He makes his way out of the alleyway and begins trying to move silently.*
Dragoshi: *Just waits for orders... Or for someone to fuck up. Either or.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui easily sneaks behind a small ledge. There's the front entrance, a locked side one, and a chimney up at the very top (no smoke either)
Kamui: *decides to go for the chimney.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui barely make it up the side... It was done quietly, at least within reason... however. He must climb to the top of the chimney. That is harder. Kamui slides down. No noise though.
Kamui: *tries climbing up again.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui reaches the chimney... but it's a long way down.
Kamui: *looks down inside the chimney, then tries climbing down it.*
Metal Man (GM): He climbs down inside the chimney. Christmas is coming, and Bowser's been naughty. Kamui is now inside. Very specifically, in a penthouse room, where Bowser is reclined, smoking a cigar and reading a newspaper. Nobody else is in here, and he hasn't noticed you either. Dragoshi sees that Kamui is obviously inside by now.
Kamui: *looks over, spotting Bowser. He simply stares for a second, then moves and tries to hide behind some furniture.*
Digifanatic: *w* "Well, Chancé, looks like we may have the green light anytime now."
Crystal: "Hmm.."
Metal Man (GM): Kamui hides behind a lamp two sizes too skinny for him. Bowser glances around the room.
Bowser: "Woah! I didn't know I made a lamp out of a dead Quester! Awesome!" *He continues reading his newspaper.*
Kamui: *looks over to see if he could hide behind Bowser. He remains where he is, keeping very still for the time being. He carefully reaches around, taking his dex and text messages the others* ""
Digifanatic: *Opens Dex and texts* "Well, I'd say wait for now. But thanks for letting us know!"
Crystal: "If you can, find out if the door is locked and alike *txt*"
Kamui: *closes his dex, then remains still like he was when Bowser spotted him.* *looks around for the door, keeping as still as he can.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui finds the door out. He can't be sure it's locked from sight alone.
Kamui: *looks back over towards Bowser.*
Metal Man (GM): Bowser seems to be busy reading still.
Digifanatic: *to the other two* "You ready?"
Crystal: "I could try to get in as a girl first..."
Metal Man (GM): Seems to be peaceful; Kamui sneaked in pretty quickly.
Digifanatic: "Wanna lead in and we'll follow?"
Kamui: *looks over towards Bowser, then tries to sneak over towards the door.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui sneaks up to the door.
Crystal: "Let me try to get in first, then say you are with me when I get in?"
Metal Man (GM): Bowser looks up. He sees Kamui... ...then the door swings open, smashing Kamui into a wall. Ganondorf walks in, not noticing Kamui at all.
Bowser: "Woah! Gave me a scare there!"
Kamui: "..." *Inside his brain*
Ganondorf: "Yes. I must have distracted you... from... ...since when did you read the paper?"
Bowser: "Oh, I was just doing the crossword puzzle."
Metal Man (GM): He turns it around. It is filled in incorrectly, with Winnie-the-Pooh like badly written letters. With such pithy phrases as "Death to Mairo" and "I heat the Qutseams."
Ganondorf: "...Remind me to never ask what you're doing again." He walks up to the desk. "We have a problem. The Questers are onto us. They know something, and they don't seem to be giving up or committing suicide by attacking us directly."
Bowser: "Oh well, I'll just read my paper then."
Kamui: *He says in his head.*
Ganondorf: *Grabs the paper and throws it over his shoulder* "That isn't how it goes! The dark master requests we aid him in a summoning ceremony. That means YOU."
Bowser: "Yeah, but I have fat foot disease. I can't walk anymore."
Ganondorf: "Is this like the time you had candy eating disease?"
Bowser: "No! Not at all! My feet actually ARE fat!"
Ganondorf: "..." He shakes his head. "Why am I always assigned to be with you... the entire world has changed, but your excuses have not."
Bowser: "We gotta stick together, Ganny Boy Advanced! It's the only way to live in these harsh times!"
Ganondorf: "Ganny... boy..." *He gets a dark look in his eye* "Look... you must COME to the ceremony in a week, or the dark master will burn us both to cinders."
Bowser: "Sure thing! Now gimme that." He takes the paper back, and writes in 'Gannned Goods n' Dorfz' to another part of the crossword puzzle.
Ganondorf: "..." *Walks out, pausing. Looks at Kamui.* "Your butler's dead again, Bowser. Did you forget to feed him?" *He shakes his head and walks out.*
Bowser: "Wait a minute... I had a butler? Oh... oh yeah! It was because I envied Toadsworth. Hey, you! Dead butler! Come here!"
Metal Man (GM): He's talking to Kamui.
Kamui: "... arrrr."
Bowser: "Yes! Ganny-Guts 0, Bowser 1. Now c'mere Mr. dead Butler! I need some butlery things... like... ...uhh... Seen Princess Peach anywhere?"
Kamui: *Well, looks like he was stuck with it, so he would play along. Stepping out, he tries limping, with a dead look in his eyes. He gives a raspy, low moan.*
Bowser: "I'm sure she still loves me, even though that incident with the extra-dimensional gentlemen made her pretty sour!"
Metal Man (GM): Bowser assumes Kamui is a zombie butler due to what Ganondorf said.
Bowser: "Hmm... you can talk, right? I don't know zombie. Yet."
Kamui: *simply stands there, giving a dead, soulless look.*
Bowser: "Dang. No talking. Uhh... is Peach close enough that you could... grab her? If so... uhh... go get her. Yeah."
Metal Man (GM): The people out front would see Ganondorf leave, muttering about a 'zombie butler.'
Kamui: *stands idly a second, then turns and begins walking for the door with a limp in his leg.*
Metal Man (GM): he door is unlocked. Some people glance at Kamui, then seemingly continue walking, unphazed.
Kamui: *continues walking on, heading for the exit.*
Digifanatic: "!!!" *w* "Folks, don't worry about him now unless you really feel it as necessary."
Metal Man (GM): Kamui can walk on down the stairs and through the main room, and out the front door even, 'cause Bowser himself was seen ordering you around.
Dragoshi: .oO(...zombie... butler. Man. Bowser must really have some crazy stuff.) *nods.*
Kamui: *walks out the front door, then heads in to the alleyway where the others were.*
Metal Man (GM): Kamui rejoins the others.
Crystal: "How did it go?"
Kamui: *gives a normal look rubbing his nose* "Well, I can say how it feels to be slammed in the face with a moving tree."
Dragoshi: "Um, sorry. I don't have any fresh brains in my pocket right now."
Digifanatic: "Any idea about that zombie butler insanity?"
Kamui: "The door to Bowser's room is unlocked, also I got some info. It seems Bowser and Ganondorf ARE working for someone."
Crystal: "So are we going to go in there and lure him to the mushroom kingdom?"
Kamui: *shrugs his shoulders* "One more thing-" *he stops rubbing his nose* "Ganondorf said something about a summoning ceremony, and they have to get ready in a week."
Dragoshi: "...Well, that's a bit of a problem."
Digifanatic: "Ohh wow..."
Dragoshi: "It seems we're low on time, then."
Digifanatic: "We should take care of Ganondorf as soon as we're done with this, then."
Crystal: "We better get Bowser to the mushroom kingdom then, Mario can help beat the crap out of him."
Digifanatic: "Anyways... will the next minute or two involve the Peach poster?"
Dragoshi: "In any case. Seeing as you exited... Maybe you could invite us in and claim that, well. Yanno." >_>
Kamui: *nods his head* "I need that poster now of Peach, or he's gonna be suspecting something."
Crystal: "Information, beat the information out of him." *cough*
Digifanatic: "Sure." *unrolls it and hands it over.*
Kamui: *takes the poster* "Say I infected you with zombieness?"
Digifanatic: "Uhh... whatever works..."
Crystal: "I am the voice... so... what do I do?"
Kamui: *shrugs his shoulders* "Basically, they think I'm a zombie butler."
Dragoshi: "..You're the zombie butler?"
Crystal: "Well lead the way."
Kamui: *nods his head, then takes his zombie look again, and begins heading for the front door of the building* "Arrr..."
Crystal follows, puting on a look of royalty. *w* Get ready with that poster.*
Metal Man (GM): The bikers move out of the way, knowing Lord Bowser sent you.
Dragoshi: "...Right." *Also makes a zombie look of his own and follows Kamui, pretending to be a zombie friend of the zombie butler. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): Some chuckle at Crystal oddly, while others stare at Dragoshi.
Digifanatic: *zombie look.*
Kamui: *gets the poster ready, walking on and makes his way through the front door and heads up the stairs slowly limping.*
Dragoshi: *Follows, doing the same. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): The two of them eventually reach Bowser's office.
Dragoshi: *As he's just another zombie in the wall.*
Metal Man (GM): Bowser looks at Kamui. Doesn't blink. Looks at Dragoshi.
Dragoshi: *...Wait, wrong reference.*
Metal Man (GM): Takes a deep drink from a drink.
Fake Peach: "Bowser!"
Metal Man (GM): Looks at Digi.
Fake Peach: "I have come to marry you!"
Metal Man (GM): Blinks twice. But then he looks to the poster.
Bowser: "What? A zombie butler that works? WHAT? It's... Princess Peach?" He gets hearts in his eyes and stares at... the poster. "Why... of course! All we need to do is head to the nearest chapel, my sweetie!"
Digifanatic: *mutters to Dragoshi* "Prep a warp stat."
Fake Peach: "No, we need to return to the mushroom kingdom! only then will I marry you! Then we can be together, forever!"
Kamui: *takes the poster to Bowser and hands it over to the large reptile, then lurches backwards.*
Dragoshi: .oO(I am trying so hard not to laugh right now) *Sneaky zombie Dragoshi, who is sneaky does that. And he's planning to make the warp pop up right under Bowser.*
Fake Peach: "Then, after the wedding..."
Bowser: "We could get married at your castle! That'd be sweet!" He holds the poster and stares at it. "Hmm... you've lost a bit of weight..."
Crystal Lucent (Who is False Peach): .oO(Somone shoot me..).
Fake Peach: "I was worried that you would not marry me Bowser!"
Bowser: "Well, just one moment. I got this memo..."
Metal Man (GM): He reads it. It says: "Memo sent from Grodus at 3 AM: Help, help I am captured, save me you idiotic fool."
Fake Peach: "I mean... your so... (oh god) Your so amazing and Kingly... (shoot me)."
Bowser: "Grodus is captured?" *...* "Excellent! I hated that old windbag anyway, trying to kidnap Peach from me! Now, to the chapel!"
Kamui: *He thinks in the back of his head.*
Metal Man (GM): He begins walking down the stairs, totally oblivious.
Digifanatic: .oO(Any time is a--WHAT THE?)
Crystal: "Zombie Butler, open the warp to the mushroom kingom."
Dragoshi: .oO(Dammit, why isn't the warp opening right under Bowser, right now?!)
peach:*
Dragoshi: *Has been trying to get that to happen for the past few seconds.*
Bowser: *Stops* "Oh, a warp? How romantic!" His brains are probably made out of pineapple jello.
Dragoshi: *Still trying to get that warp opened up.*
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* Everyone appears in Peach's castle. Poster and all. In fact, Peach walks into the room.
Crystal: "Peach, get Mario, NOW."
Bowser: "Wait a minute..." He sniffs the air... "...Yes! There are now two Peaches! Excellent!"
Dragoshi: *Zombie-like mumbling* "Freaking finally."
Peach: "Huh?"
Kamui: "We are so boned."
Peach: "What is HE doing here?"
Crystal: "Bowser, Here, Need Mario, or you can beat him up too."
Bowser: "Both of you Peaches have decided to marry me, right?"
Digifanatic: *Gives Peach the "ZIP IT!" gesture.*
Crystal: "You can help beat him up."
Peach: "Uhhh."
Metal Man (GM): The door opens. Mario walks in.
Mario: "Mama-mia! This-a isn't my-a day."
Bowser: "Mario! You can be the best ma... ... ..."
Dragoshi: "..." *Looks at Mario, all zombie-like, and in a zombie-ish voice* "Freaking finally. Again."
Kamui: *watches as Mario walks in* "Great, now YOU can take care of him." *Looks to Bowser* "Cya buddy."
Bowser: "Ahah! I knew it! It was Mario's evil plan all this time!"
Crystal: "Did you really think I was peach?"
Bowser: "Don't worry, twin Peaches! I will defeat this nasty Italian for you!"
Peach: "..." *Sweatdrop* "I think he still thinks you're me. In fact, he seems to always act this way around me... or... poorly made clones of me..."
Crystal: "..." *Humms he has no brain to hold him down, to make him think, to knock him down...*
Metal Man (GM): Bowser walks over to Mario. Mario shakes his head. They begin beating on one another.
Dragoshi: "...wait." *Straightens himself entirely, various limbs popping, and making really nasty sounds* "Argh... I forget how my bones like to do that. Though, I do love that sound."
Peach: "Uhh... good work, then?"
Digifanatic: *w to Peach* "You'll see."
Crystal: "Yep, I need to make a antidote for this stat..."
Dragoshi: "...Man, this is the wackiest day I've had since five years ago. ...Or, at least one of them." *Starts stretching, various bones making popping sounds. Apparently, being in zombie-ish posture is bad for him.*
Metal Man (GM): After a few more moments, Bowser is quite obviously beaten up. He gets up, and looks.
Bowser: "Ow... ow... now... now there are FOUR Peaches!"
Kamui: "Are we done here now?"
Peach: "Hmph." *Gets out her frying pan and KOs Bowser in one hit.*
Dragoshi: "..." *Pulls out a stick and pokes Bowser with it. Because yes.*
Metal Man (GM): Another mission complete--due to superior sleuthing. He twitches.
Crystal: "Yep... This is why I can;t understand how you get captured."
Mario: "I-a guess that takes care-a him!"
Digifanatic: "Now, we need to figure out what we should do."
Dragoshi: "...I agree with Chance's statement." >_>
Mario: "I'll be sure he doesn't go anywhere while you guys-a continue your stuff!"
Metal Man (GM): A warp back to HQ appears. One question remains... What is this ceremony?
Digifanatic: "Well, we need him to be taken to a police station or such..."
Metal Man (GM): Who is the 'Dark Master'?
Crystal smacks Digi.
Mario: "I-a got it."
Metal Man (GM): Busting his operation is best accomplished by capturing him.
Kamui: *looks over towards Metal* "Hey boss?"
Crystal heads to the store and picks up a MegaVitamin. Then she eats it.
Metal Man (GM): Cured.
Digifanatic looks for Zelda so he can thank her about the poster trick.
Dragoshi: *Heads over to the store, and buys 2 EMP grenades, 2 regular grenades, a couple of Piton Guns a pair of Gas Masks, and Air Tanks to go with 'em* >_> ""This should for n-...Whoops. Almost forgot." *Buys four more EMPs on the way out before leaving.*
Chancé picks up another Megavid-, Heart Container, and 2 mushrooms.
