Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 496: The power of OVERKILL!
Date: February 7th, 2008.
Metal Man (GM): Questers are all at HQ. Metal Man reviewing the information achieved just a while ago. Everything is normal and such, though a bit quiet.
Deloth heads up to his room with that Poe, looking at it contemplatively through the bottle.
Deloth: "I can't believe I'm about to do this.. Listen, whoever you were in there, sorry about this." *uncorks the bottle and drinks the Poe.*
Metal Man (GM): You regain 10 HP.
Deloth: "Finally... no more gnawing hunger."
Deloth sticks the bottle back into his pack and heads back down to R&R.
Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi decides to check up on Oak to see if the Shield Generator's been repaired.*
Metal Man (GM): Yeah. Shield generator is still being repaired.
Deloth: *Damn. Oh well.*
Metal Man looks at a bunch of images. "Hm... there is the second base... the area they found which was The Void's last resting place... or..."
Deloth: "Whatcha doing?"
Dragoshi: *Moves on to R&R, then.*
Metal Man: "Planning our next mission, of course. We gotta stop those Innotek crazies. Since there's so many things they're doing that are just wrong."
Dragoshi: "Like the whole Void thing?"
Metal Man: "Well, yeah. Ah, yes. So we have three choices. The first is to go find the escaped leader-guy and deal with him. We can also check out the place where they found The Void's remains... and finally... there's a second base to take out, elsewhere. What do you think?"
Deloth rubs his chin. "Hmmm... 2."
Metal Man: "2? What do you think, Dragoshi?"
Dragoshi: "Personally, I'm stuck between either finding the escaped leader and checking out where they found The Void's remains-" .oO(I didn't even know The Void could leave remnants) "...But, seeing as Del chose to go with that... I think I'll do the same."
Metal Man: "Okay then... now... where in the world is this guy..."
Metal_Man88 looks around.
Metal Man: "Hm. He has located to a very strange area. It's a ruined Bowser Castle in Northern Mushroom land. I have the warp open. He seems to be hiding."
Deloth heads to the warp. He won't be hiding for long.
Dragoshi: *Moseys on along.*
Metal Man (GM): *WARP* You appear at the old castle, with the doors open and all. You just have to walk inside.
Deloth first takes out his Dex and scans the area around the door for traps.
Dex: "No traps detected."
Deloth: *Okay, NOW I walk in.*
Aribar belatedly enters the warp and apologizes for his tardiness.* "Sorry, I got caught up in something."
Dragoshi: *Walks in... Whee* "Eh. No prob."
Aribar follows the others inside.
Metal Man (GM): Your first obstacle: A Lava pit. It's an old school castle for sure. Gonna need to jump across.
Dragoshi: *Checks to see how long the pit is.*
Deloth: "...Yep, we're in Bowser's old haunts for sure."
Dragoshi: "Mhm."
Aribar: "Ooh... This isn't going to be fun for me then."
Metal Man (GM): Rather long. You can jump it though...
Deloth backs up, then gets a running start and attempts to leap across.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth gets across. Barely.
Deloth: *stumble... stumble... phew.*
Dragoshi: *In any case, Dragoshi walks back a bit, runs forward, then attempts to jump over the lava pit.*
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi barely gets across.
Aribar knows he's not going to like this. The elf backs off a bit to get a running jump across the pit!*
Dragoshi: *Thank goodness for Extra Jumper. <_>*
Aribar trips off the platform and barely jumps up from the lava, but then activates a bit of magic to hover across.*
Aribar then uses Thunderstruck to rocket towards and above the other side!*
Metal Man (GM): You get across. Your next set of foes are three Goombas. Two of them walk at Dragoshi. 5 damage if hit.
Deloth: "Pushover." *whips out his sword.*
Dragoshi: *But, it doesn't matter, as Dragoshi dances out of the way of that one...*
Aribar: "No need to attack us now... We're just trying to find someone."
Dragoshi: *Hops over the second one and decides to ignore the third one and hop over it or something. So that way he can move on. :/*
Metal Man (GM): The third one attacks Aribar. It detects weakness!
Aribar jumps above it!*
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* 5 damage to Aribar.
Deloth aims for Goomba 1 with a Bomb Kick. Roasted mushrooms, anyone?
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi is walking away while Goomba 3 hit Aribar there and Goomba 1 is blown up.
Dragoshi: *Ignoring the Goombas so he can move on* "C'mon guys. Stop screwing around with the Goombas. We have other stuff to do."
Deloth: "Chicken."
Dragoshi: "Idiot."
Aribar: "Gah!" *Hurries after Dragoshi.*
Metal Man (GM): Goomba 2 attacks Deloth. DEATH GOOMBA deals 5 damage to Deloth! Aribar runs off.
Deloth: *How 'bout a HASSAN CHOP with his titanium sword, Jeeves?*
Metal Man (GM): Another Goomba dies.
Deloth: *Alright, according to Rate, I have one more attack, so another HASSAN CHOP at the final Goomba.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit, they're all gone, while Aribar and Dragoshi find a firestick alley. Lots and lots of spinning fire sticks.
Deloth: *hurries on over to the others.*
Metal Man (GM): Old school. Gonna take some good old fashioned Athletics to dodge them all.
Aribar looks at the rotating sticks of fire...* "Argh... These look terrible."
Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi goes to try to dodge, dip, duck, and dive through 'em. Or something.*
Metal Man (GM): Deloth and Dragoshi are char-broiled for 25 damage each as they burn their way through the fire sticks.
Aribar watches Deloth and Dragoshi go through... And get burnt. The mage takes a moment to study the pattern of the firesticks and tries to take his time getting through the challenge.*
Deloth: "GAH! HOTFOOT! GAH! HOT HOT HOT!"
Metal Man (GM): 30 damage to Aribar as he catches on fire while running through fire sticks.
Aribar: "Gaaaah!"
Aribar quickly stops, drops, and rolls!
Metal Man (GM): Now you have steps upwards. A single Hammer Brother hurls endless hammers down the stairs. You'll have to dodge them to get up the stairs... or something.
Aribar: "Why are there still functioning traps and people here?"
Dragoshi: *Rolls against the wall, putting any fires on him out, while making sure not to touch the firebars. He then dusts himself off.* "Ow. Somewhat. Also, I have no idea."
Dex: "The person who is hiding here may be behind it..."
Deloth: *steps out of the way of the hammers, AWAY from the firebars, then starts yelling towards the guy up at the top.* "What the heck are you doing here?"
Hammer Brother: "Rich, mysterious people hired me!"
Metal Man (GM): He chucks a hammer at Deloth's head.
Dragoshi: "...Oh. Well, that makes a lot of sense."
Aribar calls up the stairs, "Fifteen coins says you let us pass!"
Hammer Brother: "That's cheap people pay!"
Dragoshi: "Hmm..." *Calls up the stairs* "How much would you want, then?"
Metal Man (GM): Yes. But the hammer can be bounced off of the floor.
Hammer Brother: "15 thousand coins!"
Metal Man (GM): *BONK* 15 damage. He has a pretty good aim.
Hammer Brother: "The guy who hired me said he'd pay me a lot if I just kept chucking hammers at you."
Aribar: "You don't know who you're dealing with. You have as much of a chance against us as Bowser has at keeping Princess Peach captive!"
Deloth leans his head back... bloody nose. In both senses of the phrase.
Dragoshi: "...Wow. They really are paying him a lot." >_>;; *Just readies his assault rifle and takes aim, and tries to shoot at the Hammer Bro's hammer-throwing arm.*
Hammer: "Eat hammer, elf!"
Aribar sidesteps the hammer.
Aribar is bonked on the head... "Gah! Blasted Koopa!"
Metal Man (GM): *BONK* 15 damage to Aribar. The Koopa is hit by the shot.
Koopa: "Ow! Ow! I'll get you!" He runs off.
Metal Man (GM): You can go up the stairs now.
Dragoshi: *Moves up the stairs.*
Deloth heads up pinching his nose. "Knew I should have brought Cura..."
Aribar eats a Mushroom and follows the others..
Metal Man (GM): You head on up and see another floor... with an even larger lava pit. With podobos! And fire sticks! It's gonna take better Jump checks to cross.
Aribar: "... This is ridiculous." *Looks about for evidence of where the Koopa went.*
Metal Man (GM): The Koopa seemingly ran in here and then disappeared.
Deloth crunches on a Mushroom and then notices Ari looking around. "Need some help?"
Metal Man (GM): Aribar finds... a stale pizza slice.
Aribar: "Yeah... That Koopa couldn't have just disappeared... They get delivery -here-?" *Picks up the Pizza slice..*
Deloth: "Hrm... good point. And I'll take that."
Deloth starts looking for a way besides going through the gauntlet of third-degree burns over there...
Aribar hands it to Del.*
Metal Man (GM): It's a greasy stain on the floor, dropped near the right wall. Deloth sees a greasy mark on the right-hand wall.
Deloth raps the wall there with his knuckles.
Dragoshi: *Looks at where Del's rapping the wall* "...I presume you found something?"
Deloth: "Maybe."
Aribar looks up.* "A hidden passage would make sense.."
Metal Man (GM): It sounds... hollow.
Deloth: "Hrm... to search for a handle or just give that area a swift kick..."
Deloth chooses to push that spot first.
Metal Man (GM): You push it. It shakes a little.
Deloth then gives that place a Bomb Kick to the breadbasket.
Metal Man (GM): *BOOM* You reveal a passageway... a very old one, but definitely recently opened. It goes right past the fiery wasteland.
Deloth: "Here we go." *takes a bite of that pizza.*
Aribar: "Excellent!" *Enters the passageway.*
Deloth then starts through that passageway.
Dragoshi: *Follows the others. Whee.*
Metal Man (GM): You walk on through and to the other side. It's a bit dusty here, but there's a door to the outside.
Deloth opens that up...
Metal Man (GM): It leads out to a walkway which goes to the top of the castle.
Deloth: *Is the walkway all dusty and crumbly?*
Metal Man (GM): No. Nice and solid.
Deloth: *Well, then, let's go.*
Dragoshi: *Moving on...*
Metal Man (GM): You walk on out. Reaching the top, you see the man from the base and his guards. The man looks to you and shakes his head.
Aribar: "Greetings."
???: "I am afraid you will not be able to get a hold of me, Questers. I am protected!"
Metal Man (GM): The Hammer Brother guy stands in the way.
Hammer Brother: "That man gave me a weird serum and it fixed up my arm real good! I think I'll stop you now!" He chucks a hammer...
Deloth whips out his sword again. "You won't be for long."
Metal Man (GM): ... ... It flies clear over you and over the horizon.
Dragoshi: "...What the heck."
Hammer Brother: "WOAH! What was in that thing?"
Aribar: "We can just talk. There's no need for violence.."
???: "Behold, the power of science!!!"
Dragoshi: "...That's some rather impressive science, then."
Hammer Brother: "Urgh..." His eyes become swirly and red. "I'm going to... smash you to bits!"
???: "We discovered an ancient machine in this castle, capable of killing you all. We only needed a Hammer Brother who hated you to pilot it.
Metal Man (GM): A weird stovepipe sticks out of the ceiling.
Dragoshi: "...Huh. That sounds oddly semi-specifically vague."
Metal Man (GM): You hear a whistle and suddenly the pipe pops out further, showing a large white rounded machine...
Aribar: "Do you truly think a single Hammer Brother can stop us?"
Metal Man (GM): The machine with four legs and Bullet bill launchers powers up for the first time in years.
Deloth: "One Hammer Brother and a deathmachine, Ari. But still, no."
???: "Do you think you can defeat The Overkill Deluxe Innotek Supreme Explosive Extra Cheese Edition?"
Aribar unsheathes his sword and drops into a battle stance..*
Dragoshi: "...Don't you remember that one time when we were all-...Ah, screw it." *Just readies the Assault Rifle* "...Maybe."
Deloth: "Yes."
Metal Man (GM): The Hammer Brother leaps into the seat, as the machine walks to attack you.
Deloth drops into his crouched-over battle stance. Here we go again...
Hammer Brother: "Heh heh heh... I'm gonna eat cheese puffs and smash you into tiny bits..."
Aribar gazes over the machine... Rotating turrets? Any blindsides to it?*
Metal Man (GM): There used to be blindsides. The turret now has pretty much complete reach--they're like 360-degree arms. So with that... BATTLE! Questers vs. Resurrected Overkill Deluxe Innotek Supreme Explosive Extra Cheese Edition.
Hammer Brother: "Heh heh heh heh. Locos thought he could kill me. Then this moron revived me. Time to crush you into powder."
Metal Man (GM): He aims both arms at Dragoshi and launches bullet bills at him. Hm... 30 damage. Yeah.
Dragoshi: *Still, standing, though... sheesh. That hurt.*
Metal Man (GM): It has a tough metal cockpit protecting its vital parts. More importantly, it seems to be further improved...
Aribar: "This... Might be a problem."
Hammer Brother: "I'm not slow like you wimps. Eat hammers. Heh heh heh."
Metal Man (GM): He chucks two hammers at Aribar.
Aribar tries to dive away from the hammers... And get an idea on where the mysterious leader man is during all of this.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit, miss. 15 damage... Aribar is confused!
Aribar is now seeing stars. @_@.
Hammer Brother: "I am old school. These new high tech idiots don't got nuthin' on me! Kuja himself died, but now I'm here."
Metal Man (GM): It does not effect you thanks to the scarf, then.
Dragoshi: "...Hmm." *Dragoshi decides to start his turn off by opening fire on the Overkill with Assault Rifle, but instead of shooting at the cockpit, he tries to shoot into the Bill Blasters.*
Deloth aims a Bomb Kick at the underside of the S.S. Overkill, hoping he can bust through it somewhat.
Aribar: "You're still just a lowly Koopa!" *The elf rushes up to the machine menace and unleashes a flurry of wind-assisted slashes upon one of the arms! Maybe with enough damage they can be disabled..*
Metal Man (GM): Hit miss hit miss. The furious attacks at the arms damage the arms, but they don't so much stop the overkill. The undercarriage is a bit vulnerable though.
Hammer Brother: "Gih! Your attacks won't stop me. You're dead people."
Metal Man (GM): He levels the machine and pulls some levers. It charges at all three of you! Threatens all. *SMASH* *SMUSH* 50 damage.
Aribar tries to (belatedly) dive away!*
Deloth: *Roadkill'd... DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! 10/150 HP!*
Metal Man (GM): *SMUSH.*
Hammer Brother: "And now, here, have a Bob-omb!" He chucks one at Dragoshi.
Dragoshi: *Jumps outta the way of that...*
Metal Man (GM): *BLAM* Good thing you did, as it made a hideous crater.
Aribar tosses a Mushroom to Del and consumes one himself!*
Deloth: *snag* "Thanks!"
Dragoshi: *Uses a Heart Container on himself, bringing him back up to full, then tosses a Mushroom of his own to Del. He would then spit out sum ACIDZ at the undercarriage of the Overkill.*
Deloth: *Heal again! Rockin'.*
Hammer Brother: "Haw haw!"
Aribar ends his rampage of healage.*
Deloth makes to slash up the underside with a sword slice!
Deloth: *And again!* *And horrible luck!*
Hammer Brother: "You cannot stop me. I will smash you to bits!"
Dragoshi: "..." *Just continues trying to blast the underside with acid.*
Aribar tries to get under the machine, charges up some lightning, and blasts upward with a Thunderstruck to try and unbalance it!*
Hammer Brother: "Hyuk hyuk! You suck!"
Metal Man (GM): He's zapped by some lightning.
Hammer Brother: "Ow."
Dragoshi: "..." *Just spits more acid, because really now.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Hammer Brother: "Behold my power!"
Metal Man (GM): He takes out a bag of Cheese doodles.
Hammer Brother: "Wah hah hah hah hah!" He eats a bunch of them.
Metal Man (GM): For some reason, the mecha is healed.
Dragoshi: "That's... rather interesting, actually." *Blinks.*
Hammer Brother: "Mmm... now blow up some more." The stack on it shoots steam, then fires a bunch of Bob-ombs everywhere. The entire room area is threatened by raining explosions and debris!
Deloth: "...Why do I get a sudden feeling of deja vu?"
Metal Man (GM): Threatens all. 40 to you, Dragoshi.
Aribar actually dodges!
Deloth: "Bah." *shakes it off and gets back to focusing on the battle.*
Metal Man (GM): Aribar dodges it!
Dex: "You have fought this thing before, Deloth."
Dragoshi: *Hmm... In any case, Dragoshi decides to try and scan the thing with his Dex. Better than doing nothing. :/*
Dex: "...DING!"
Metal Man (GM): You are hit for 35 damage, Deloth.
Dex: "...DING!"
Dragoshi: .oO(...Two dings?)
Dex: "Overkill 3000+ Deluxe: Innotek Edition. HP: 34/300; Defense: q10; Bullet Bills: q12, 30 damage; Hammers: q10, 15 damage, confusion; Charging attack: q10, threatens all, 50 damage; Bob-Omb Air Raid: q10, threatens all, 35 + 5 damage for 1 over. End of entry."
Deloth makes to bump that damage total up with two more sword swings at the underside!
Metal Man (GM): Miss. The metal plating cracks.
Dragoshi: *Decides to try and deliver a good kick to the cracked plating.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Dragoshi: *And, another kick!*
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Dragoshi: "Okay... Enough screwing around here." *And, with that, Dragoshi quickly readies his assault rifle, and starts opening fire on the cracked plating.*
Aribar tries to unleash a barrage of windy slashes upon that cracked plating as well! Exclamation!*
Metal Man (GM): Hit hit miss. Overkill charges up, and then the Hammer Brother chucks hammers at Dragoshi! 15 damage a hit. And confusion to Dragoshi!
Hammer Brother: "Hyuk hyuk! Ha ha ha!"
Dragoshi: "...Must you do that idiotic la-...Oww... My head." *Winces, as he stumbles around a bit, his vision a bit blurred.*
Deloth starts charging up a Wing Slam... if this connects, BIG stuff is gonna go down.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Aribar tries some more Storm of Blades at the cracked plating.*
Dragoshi: *In any case, Dragoshi tries to spit some acid at where he thinks the place with cracked playing on the Overkill is, then follow up with another generic kick*
Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi attacks Aribar in his confusion!
Aribar tries to dodge... success.
Metal Man (GM): It's now taking some heavy damage.
Hammer Brother: "Why you little--" He cranks up the steam.
Metal Man (GM): It fires two blasts of superheated steam. One at Dragoshi, one at Aribar.
Aribar tries desperately to dodge!*
Metal Man (GM): Burning death... 35 damage to both of you. He opens up the cockpit.
Hammer Brother: "Hah! I'm unstoppable!"
Dragoshi: *And, a good steam-blasting was all it took to knock Dragoshi into his senses* "Okay, that's much better." *Eats a mushroom, then proceeds to run over to the Hammer Bro and try to grab him so he could be removed from his seat. >_>*
Metal Man (GM): You grab him. But what do you do with him?
Dragoshi: *Throw 'em over to the others so they can distract him while Dragoshi tries to hijack the thing! >_>*
Metal Man (GM): You throw him... but he's still controlling it even while away from the machine!
Hammer brother: "You cannot hijack the Overkill! I made it unhijackable!"
Dragoshi: "...I can still destroy it from the inside, though."
Hammer Brother: "Ha ha. Shows what you know."
Dragoshi: "Which just as well shows what you know not."
Hammer Brother: "My machine and I are as one. Nothing you do to one will effect the other if they are separate! Ha ha ha ha!"
Aribar hopes that the Brother is just bluffing and tries to bull rush him towards the edge with a Thunderstruck!*
Metal Man (GM): He leaps out of the way.
Deloth: *Bomb Kick on the Hammer Brother for 15% damage, Alex.*
Metal Man (GM): Miss. The Hammer Brother moves to the still exposed cockpit and swings a wrench at Dragoshi's head. 40 damage, thrown quite a distance. Then he fires hot steam at Aribar.
Aribar tries to dodge!*
Metal Man (GM): Aribar: 40 damage.
Hammer Brother: "You can't even get near the chimney of this baby! Woo!"
Dragoshi: *Rolls his eyes and attempts to throw his Orange Grenade in between the Hammer Bro and the Overkill.*
Metal Man (GM): He moves out of the way again!
Dragoshi: *Ehh... Ya know what? I think I'll just try again with another one. :/ What's there to lose, really.*
Metal Man (GM): He moves out of the way again!
Deloth: *Does jumping up to the cockpit require an action?*
Aribar downs two Mushrooms.*
Dragoshi: *Decides to try and shoot the damn thing with the only attack he's done that's seemed to actually work so far- The assault Rifle.*
Metal Man (GM): He's on a roll, folks! There is a visible control panel in the cockpit. There is also a visible Hammer brother. His head is about the size of the pipe atop the thing...
Deloth jumps up to the cockpit and attempts to smash up the controls with one sword slash...
Metal Man (GM): You hit.
Deloth uses his other slash to hopefully slice the Brother across the face.
Metal Man (GM): It's still running. It seems unstoppable as-is... Miss. The Overkill guy laughs, then charges at all of you at once! ...He's drunk. 50 damage if hit.
Deloth swings out of the way, whee! His first dodged hit of the battle!
Aribar belatedly dodges again!*
Aribar sheaths his sword and starts summoning up some holy energy!*
Deloth sheathes his sword and switches to his Cura bracelet, which he then quickly uses on Drago. "Heal!"
Dragoshi: "Thanks." *And, anyway, Dragoshi decides to attempt to strike at the Overkill with an Aerodrill!*
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Damage it is...
Dragoshi: *And, what the hell. Might as well try and open fire with another Assault Rifle shot. :/*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Dex: "Additional weakness detected. Your damage alone cannot kill him."
Hammer Brother: "Yup! Now eat lots of bullet bills! Hyuk!"
Dragoshi: "...Yea, thought so."
Metal Man (GM): He fires Bullet Bills at Deloth. 30 damage per hit.
Deloth: *Ow, dodge, dodge.*
Dex: "Another scan may clear up things."
Hammer Brother: "No it won't! Keep dying! You selfish, starving proletariat!"
Aribar charges up his magic and launches a powerful beam of holy energy at the Koopa Brother!*
Dragoshi: "...'k" *Decides to dex the thing again after this is all over.*
Metal Man (GM): Miss, Aribar.
Dragoshi: *Anyway, Dragoshi's dexing the Overkill again. What does the new scan reveal.*
Dex: "...DING! ...There is a critical connection between the main steam outlet and the Hammer Brother. Attempt to stick them together."
Dragoshi: "...Uh... huh. That's a weird connection." *...Attempts to grab the Hammer Bro again so he can do as the Dex advised.*
Metal Man (GM): No luck this try.
Metal Man (GM): Overkill fires hot steam at Aribar! Twice!
Aribar: *Dodge, dodge!*
Aribar is now nigh-dead..*
Metal Man (GM): 40 damage per hit from that...
Deloth jumps and attempts to grab the Brother as well...
Metal Man (GM): You grab him.
Deloth then attempts to fling him into the steam outlet!
Metal Man (GM): You hurl him, he bounces off the rim and takes 15 damage.
Hammer Brother: "Nice try!"
Deloth: *Oh, well.*
Dragoshi: *And, Dragoshi tries to grab 'im this time. Whee.*
Metal Man (GM): He runs into the wall, taking 10 damage, but he evades!
Dragoshi: *Let's try again.*
Metal Man (GM): He evades again.
Dragoshi: *And, let's try again.*
Metal Man (GM): Finally, you hit him.
Dragoshi: *Okay, now that I've finally grabbed him, I'm gonna try to throw him into the main steam outlet.*
Metal Man (GM): He fires two Bullet Bills at Dragoshi. 30 damage per hit.
Dragoshi: *Dodges the first, gets hit by the second.*
Metal Man (GM): 30 damage.
Deloth: *Grab again! I'm as shocked as you are.*
Metal Man (GM): Miss again
Dragoshi: *Tries to do another grab. What a surprise. :p*
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Aribar downs a Mushroom and then hides behind the machine.*
Dragoshi: *Might as well try again. :/*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Dragoshi: *Okay, there we go. Now, for our next attempt... *
Hammer Brother: "Heh heh heh." He charges at everyone again!
Metal Man (GM): 50 damage if hit.
Deloth: *Splat. -1 life.*
Aribar is now nigh-dead...*

Aribar lines up a shot between the Hammer Brother and the steam slot thing... He then fires another Holy beam to just BLAST the damn guy into the slot!*
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Deloth: *Grab.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Deloth: *Throw at steam whatever.*
Metal Man (GM): He hits the pipe. The whole thing falls over and explodes!
Aribar: "Finally over... Right?"
Dragoshi: "...It better be."
Metal Man (GM): You realize you made only one miscalculation:
Deloth: "Yep..."
Metal Man (GM): The man you were after escaped during that. The man, however, did drop a disk when he left...
Deloth: *gets that.*
Aribar: "It figures. So all of this was for nothing.."
Aribar calls up a warp home.*
Dragoshi: "...Don't care. Just glad that this whole thing is over. And I hope to never see that thing again."
Deloth: "Amen..."
Metal Man (GM): A warp to HQ appears.
Dragoshi: *Walks back into the warp.*
