Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 73: Questers... IN SPACE
Date: July 29th and 30th, 2004.
Metal Man (GM): Everyone has been invited mysteriously to the Underground Garage. The same Garage that has been off-limits for YEARS.
Yurie leans against the wall of the elevator, then looks up as the doors open, stepping out into the underground garage.
Razor didn't know there was an underground garage... hmph...
Aribar stashes the potions he made into his pack and heads to the mysterious Underground Garage which he has been invited too. OooOoOOoh!
Deloth follows.
Gibby: "Sounds like fun." *He follows the others.*
Locos Docos does not know... but goes there via anyway possible.
Metal Man (GM): Upon entering, the Questers are greeted by high-tech everything.
Razor lags a bit behind the others... he takes the time to suit up before heading out of his room and finding the garage.
Deloth: "Whoa..."
Metal Man (GM): It's extremely bright in here. And clean. All traces of CACs, except Metal's, have been eliminated. It's also mysteriously... empty.
Gibby: "Wow... what a difference."
Metal Man (GM): Except for Oak and Dr. Light.
Yurie: "...what the..."
Metal Man (GM): And Star Fox and Falco.
Deloth: "Er, hi, everyone."
Razor raises an eyebrow. "Hmm... isn't this the part where everyone jumps out and yells 'surprise'?"
Locos Docos: "...I feel so... humbled."
Aribar: "... 'allo."
Fox: "Hello, Questers. As you have seen and maybe heard, this has been our newest branch of research."
Falco: "The CACs were the worst craft I have ever flown!"
Gibby: "...errr..."
Falco: "And that INCLUDES the time I flew Slippy's Arwing!"
Aribar mumbles, "Same here..."
Fox: "...Well, as a result, we have made a faster, meaner, more powerful machine that accomplishes the same thing."
Dr. Light: "It only took TWO YEARS for us to find all of the ps... cubes."
Professor Oak: "Yes... cubes..."
Metal Man (GM): They both wink oddly.
Locos Docos: "...brrr..." He shudders.
Aribar hrms... And wonders why they're keeping THAT secret to the other Questers.
Razor raises an eyebrow. "Freaks..."
Falco: "Now then... To unveil the creations."
Yurie: "Now then what?"
Metal Man (GM): Large floor panels open in the floor. One for each Quester... and then some.
Gibby: "Oh boy oh boy oh boy..."
Metal Man (GM): What comes out is several all-white generic mecha-things.
Aribar blinks.
Locos Docos: "...?" o_O "..."
Gibby drools.
Deloth: "Robots!"
Razor folds his arms across his chest. "Iiiinteresting... can't possibly be as fast as Razor's Edge..."
Deloth: "Cool!"
Fox: "The Mechanized Transport Armada. MTA, for short."
Locos Docos: "Seems better suited."
Razor: "Okay... cool... so... what do they DO?"
Dr. Light: "They are armed transport. Space-worthy, at that."
Yurie: "...they're giant robots!"
Dr. Light: "You're gonna use them to get to the satellite."
Yurie's eyes light up.
Gibby: "Awesome! This makes things SO much easier."
Razor: "Where's the armed part? They look pretty clunky to me..."
Aribar: "Ooookay..."
Professor Oak: "Oh, yeah. Metal still uses that clunky CAC of his... but he's special."
Razor: "We knew that already..."
Locos Docos: "...Hmm... I thought we could just warp there."
Falco: "Now, seeing as a group of all-white chunky mechas would be boring for all of you..."
Gibby: "He didn't want a MTA? What's the matter with him?"
Razor leans towards Yurie and whispers. "How much you wanna bet he rode the short bus when he was a kid?"
Falco: "We installed precise customization systems."
Yurie giggles.
Falco: "They mirror your own abilities."
Deloth: "I like this..."
Locos Docos: "!"
Aribar: "... Really... May one of us demonstrate it?"
Falco: "And... to an extent, your personality and build."
Razor looks back towards Falco. "Now we're talking... so... do we get to see this in action?"
Gibby: "Cool... I wanna try!"
Dr. Light: "Of course!"
Aribar: "Personality?"
Deloth: "Me too!"
Locos Docos: "I am skeptic."
Yurie: "I wanna try this..."
Professor Oak: "Well, you just have to enter them."
Gibby walks up closer to one of the MTAs.
Razor: "No, you are Locos..."
Deloth: "How?"
Yurie walks towards one of the MTA's, then climbs up.
Metal Man (GM): Oak presses a button, and all of them open up in the chest, revealing a ramp.
Gibby: "You sure it's safe?"
Deloth walks up the ramp.
Dr. Light: "Yes."
Metal Man (GM): Dr. Light winks.
Yurie climbs up the ramp, then peers inside the suit.
Razor smirks to Yurie and walks towards one as well. He climbs slowly up the ramp and steps inside.
Metal Man (GM): Oak winks back at him.
Gibby shrugs. "Can't argue with that." He runs up the ramp, and enters inside his.
Metal Man (GM): Inside, is one single button: 'Customize.'
Aribar walks over to one of the far MTAs and heads up the ramp... He unbuckles his sheath and carries it in with him.
Razor: "BUTTON!" *Pushes the button.*
Gibby pushes the shiny button.
Deloth pushes the button in his mech.
Metal Man (GM): The mecha immediately adapt to the whims of the Questers within them, and also similar to their body shapes.
Locos Docos gets in slowllllyy.
Gibby: "Cool!"
Yurie: "Hmmm... Alright then..."
Deloth: "AWESOME."
Aribar sits down with his sheath in his lap... He presses the Customize button...
Metal Man (GM): It automatically opens up four slots for Melee Weapons. And, of course, a slot for one weapon and one shield. In the end, it mirrors the abilities of whoever is inside it.
Deloth puts his katana in the slot.
Metal Man (GM): The mecha also open up detailed screens.
Aribar... inserts his sword into the Melee Weapon slot.
Gibby puts his Great Sword in his.
Metal Man (GM): The sword appears in its hands.
Aribar: "Lets see... Robot go Punch?" *Presses a random button.*
Metal Man (GM): There's a glove... no... a set of gloves for using weapons.
Yurie walks in and sits down on the seat, then presses the little red button. Instantly, the spherical cockpit lights up inside as the ramp and chest close up. She slides her rapier into a slot, which instantly disappears...
Metal Man (GM): Aribar presses a button, and it shoots a Thordain into a wall.
Locos Docos inserts his mauler.
Aribar: "GAH!"
Metal Man (GM): Locos' mauler also appears on his mech.
Yurie: "Alright then... Customizer, activate!"
Deloth sits down. "I like these..."
Metal Man (GM): A little Dex-like screen pops up in the MTAs and shows basic mission statistics and radar. Also, what each Quester says in each one can be heard in all of the others.
Razor's mecha instantly begins to slim. It's color shifts to a deep green with patches of black. A pair of violet blades slowly materialize at its hips as he places his own blades in the slots. The mecha appears much more nimble now. A visor like that on the Power Suit forms on its face, and a pair of eyes flash to life behind it. Finally, a pair of white metallic wings, which look almost feathery, burst from its back. Yay.
Deloth: "Man, this is so cool!"
Metal Man (GM): The garage doors open. All the Questers see Metal come in.
Yurie's mecha lights up, the frame reshaping rapidly, the armor becoming ornate as the legs are enfolded in a cone-like shielding... which promptly retracts into the machine's waist, revealing the legs as a long beam rapier appears in its hand.
Metal Man (GM): He gets in his CAC.
Aribar puts his left arm into the the glove and moves his sword around... Or tries to.
Gibby's mecha gets smaller... and smaller... and smaller... it then gets round, and turns a bluish color.
Metal Man: "Hello everybody. I'll be your guide for today's exercise."
Deloth puts his hands in the gloves.
Metal Man: "It's a little advanced, but shouldn't be a problem."
Gibby: "Hello."
Aribar: "... Robot go Walk..." *Attempts to move forward...*
Metal Man: "First, press the FLIGHT MODE button."
Locos Docos presses it... surprised.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar's robot walks forward, shaking the entire building.
Razor points and laughs at Metal... well... his mecha does. His suit basically looks a lot like he does in his full armor (he painted his power suit) except that the wings are feathery.
Aribar stops and attempts to locate and press the button...
Deloth presses the Flight Mode button.
Gibby looks all around for the Flight Mode button, and soon finds it over his head. He presses it.
Metal Man: "Now then, using the flight joystick, point it to outside."
Yurie shrugs, then presses the button. The 'skirt' folds down and covers the legs of her mecha, which now floats in mid air, the four wings on its back glowing gently...
Metal Man's car backs up, the rear end opens up to reveal jets, and it takes off, sprouting obsidian wings.
Razor raises an eyebrow before entering flight mode... for which his mecha's wings flare out and flap at the air. A small set of thrusters is hidden with in the metallic feathers.
Metal Man: "Now, all you have to do is follow me."
Gibby takes his joystick, and moves it to outside the room.
Metal Man: "If you want, you can set it to autopilot. Just poke the dot for my car on the radar and press 'AUTOPILOT.'"
Yurie: "Right..."
Deloth: "I think I should do that."
Gibby pushes his joystick forward, and it heads towards Metal's CAC.
Metal Man: "When you get into combat, press COMBAT MODE."
Razor angles forward, wings flapping as he follows Metal outside. "I'm impressed... these aren't as bad as I thought they would be."
Aribar hrms... Thrusters on the button of his Mecha's feet power up. . Rising into the air causes Aribar to get a little air sick and he quickly attempts to push the Autopilot button...
Locos Docos and his mecha... aren't really cooperating together... it's wearing a cape that he doesn't have... he goes forward on the joystick.
Yurie looks around. then rests her hands on the controls and floats forwards, then flies Z.O.E.-like after the CAC.
Metal Man (GM): The Quester MTAs follow Metal's CAC. Even Locos's... though it almost runs over Falco in the process.
Falco: "Hey, watch where you're flyin' there, buddy!"
Gibby pushes the autopilot button on the radar.
Deloth pushes Metal's dot on the radar and slaps 'AUTOPILOT'
Locos Docos: "!!"
Metal Man: "Now then, the reason I keep this CAC is because it is superior in both speed and evasion."
Yurie: "Yeah, right..."
Razor: "Not with my reflexes..."
Metal Man: "I'm not going to be able to help you much in battle with it, though. Worthless Y2K noncompliance..." *His car is now heading towards the atmosphere... up... up... up...*
Metal Man (GM): All of the mecha signal that they are exiting the atmosphere.
Yurie follows, her wings leaving a trail of light behind her.
Gibby: "Soooo sweet."
Metal Man: "Now, this will be safe for a short bit, then the real fun begins."
Locos Docos goes bbrrrr...
Metal Man: "Smithy's satellite is straight ahead."
Razor leaves the atmosphere, and as he does so, a pair of thrusters open up on his back and boost him forward... though his wings still flap.
Metal Man: "...But so is a large force field satellite arrangement."
Yurie: "Right... so I assume he has defenses?"
Aribar attempts to remember his schooling about Y2K... And fails... Aribar just lets the mecha automatically follow Metal's CAC... "Wait... THIS is our training mission?!"
Metal Man: "Yeah... a laser cannon that can almost kill any of us in one hit."
Locos Docos: "..."
Metal Man: "Oh, yeah. Sorry that I lied to you about that. And the shield satellites happen to have lasers too."
Deloth: "He's an evil supervillain, of course he's got defenses."
Gibby: "Oh sure... it's ONLY our lives you're risking."
Metal Man (GM): The Radars suddenly show four red dots near the satellite, a red blue up ahead.
Aribar turns even paler than he usually is...
Deloth: "That must be it."
Gibby: "What's this?"
MTA Computers: "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! Four Bogeys cited."
Yurie: "You little CENSORED."
Metal Man: "...Well isn't that great... no turning back now!"
Gibby gasps.
Deloth hits the 'COMBAT' button.
Gibby: "Such language..."
Metal Man: "...Incoming transmission!"
Deloth: "Let's do it..."
Aribar jabs at the console and hopes he hits the Combat button...
Razor shakes his head slowly. "Not like we can't handle it Yurie..." He prepares for combat mode.
Gibby sees Deloth, and follows suit by pressing the combat button.
Yurie 's mecha draws its beam rapier as she hits the Combat mode button.
Locos Docos hits the combat button, and move forward.
Star Wolf: "Ha ha ha. Hello, Questers."
Yurie: "...oh god, not THESE guys..."
Deloth's mech pulls out a laser katana.
Gibby: "Who are they?"
Razor raises an eyebrow as he enters combat mode. "Hey look... it's a cheap ripoff of Fox..."
Leon: "This satellite is Smithy's property. Get away, or you WILL die!"
Andrew: "I must avenge the death of Andross!"
Pigma: "Look, it's some easy targets!"
Aribar: "... Hello people I don't know..."
Razor's mecha brakes to a halt, its hands dropping down to take a hold of his massive violet blades, which pulse with energy.
Yurie: "...Avenge this. Tsiphone! Battle Mode!"
Locos Docos: "...Star Wolf is of Smithy's Gang!?"
Metal Man: "Well... get into combat mode."
Gibby's mecha pulls out its Great Sword.
Locos Docos attempts to activate his mauler.
Deloth is already in combat mode.
Metal Man's ship stops with the group, and several missile launchers appear on the wings.
Yurie also comes to a halt, the skirt retracting as her hands slide into the control gloves..
Metal Man (GM): The four ships fly into view.
Gibby: "Here they come..."
Metal Man (GM): They're highly advanced... as seen by their green force fields and quad engines.
Aribar shakes his left arm in the glove... And hopes the giant metal sword for his Mech moves with it.
Deloth: "Let's rumble."
Yurie: "Alright then... All range mode!"
Star Wolf: "Take this, worthless Quester!" He flies at Yurie, firing three laser bursts at her.
Gibby: "Look out!"
Metal Man (GM): BAM! Yurie's MTA takes damage.
Leon: "I'll show you! Take this!" He flies at Gibby, shooting one charged laser.
Metal Man (GM): And misses.
Gibby ducks out of the way.
Pigma: "Full attack! Now!"
Metal Man (GM): Pigma fires three lasers at Razor. Those all miss.
Razor flies to the side, entering into a barrel roll as the lasers fly all around his mecha.
Andrew: "...Take this!"
Metal Man (GM): He fires a homing laser at Razor. Miss.
Yurie: "Gah! I'm hit!"
Gibby: "You ok?"
Yurie: "Yeah..."
Metal Man: "...Fox 9! Fox 9!"
Razor glances over to Yurie. "Don't worry... we'll finish these guys off quick."
Metal Man (GM): Star Wolf is hit by one of them. He takes to his shield.
Star Wolf: "You'll have to try harder than that!"
Yurie growls, then pulls back, the mecha taking a readout of Star Wolf's fighter.
MTA Dex: "...BEEP! Star Wolf. Wolfen Class III. Shield: 95/100. Hull: 100/100. Unknown statistics. Desc: Star Wolf's fighter. It's a balanced machine, and packs a punch. Possibly enhanced by Smithy's technology? Shield halves all physical damage that hits it. Hull halves all special attacks that hit it. End-of-desc."
Yurie: "Lets see if we can't take down that shield a bit..." *She thrusts her hands out as energy gathers around said hand... followed by four Fireballs lashing out towards Star Wolf's ship.*
Metal Man (GM): 1 hit.
Star Wolf: "...You'll pay for that!"
Metal Man (GM): He takes full damage.
Yurie: "I don't think so!"
Gibby speeds over to Leon as revenge for his attempt to hit Gibby. The Gibby mecha raises its Great Sword, and swings wildly at Leon's Ship.
Metal Man (GM): Leon is sliced a bit... the shield takes the hit, though. He takes full damage.
Gibby: "Take that!"
Deloth: "Alright, Gibby!"
Leon: "Gah! Not my shield!"
Locos Docos decides to test out the MTA, so he pushes the joystick to the ship that Gibby tried to strike it as well with his Mauler.
Metal Man (GM): *CRIT.*
Leon: "Ahhhhhhhh!!!!"
Metal Man (GM): Full damage... Locos knocks Leon's shield offline for one round too.
Leon: "You broke my G-diffuser!"
Gibby: "Nice! Somebody attack Leon while his shield's down!"
Razor darts towards Pigma and Andrew, wings trailing behind him. The mecha flips its blades up and holds them both up to the left side. The one in his right hand gleams in the starlight, letting off a faint gray glow. "Wave Slash!" He makes one massive swing with his right hand, sending a streak of gray energy across their ships. Upon each hit, waves of energy would lash out at the other three ships. After this slash, his other hand lunges in to stab at Pigma's ship, because he hates that stupid pig already.
Locos Docos: "...ahh... sorry?"
Gibby: "Don't be sorry, you twit!"
Metal Man (GM): Pigma and Andrew are hit. Pigma takes half damage, because, surprise surprise, she has no shield.
Pigma: "Hah!"
Deloth's mech whirls its katana around, then slashes downward creating a white blast of energy that arcs towards Leon's ship. "Phasebolt!"
Metal Man (GM): Leon takes a bunch more damage. Woohoo.
Locos Docos rockets back, but still his reluctant MTA is not complying with him 100%.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar's mecha disappears while everyone is not looking. THAT deals full damage.
Deloth: "Well, that's something..."
Metal Man (GM): Also, all mecha show this: 'Star Wolf: 100/100 78/100.' The one to the right is his shield points.
Deloth: "Awesome, shared scan info!"
Metal Man (GM): The others have ???s.
Razor twists towards Leon's ship. "Mind if I finish this guys?" His mecha flips his blades back downward, and they blitz with green energy. "Annihilate!" He backflips, his blades slicing in, well, space, and causing two waves of energy to streak towards Leon.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. His force field is still off-line. Both of them hit him.
Leon: "...I can't believe this!"
Metal Man (GM): He's not dead, but might as well be... but then his force field turns on. He took half damage due to his hull.
Razor: "Bah..."
Locos Docos tries to turn off the blasted cape.
Metal Man (GM): Team Star Wolf converges on Razor with lasers.
Gibby: "Not good!"
Metal Man (GM): Needless to say, since those weren't homing, they miss.
Yurie: "Hey! Back off of him!"
Razor darts back and forth and rolls out of the way all hyper-like.
Star Wolf: "Make me!"
Gibby: "You shouldn't have said that, Mr. Wolf..."
Locos Docos: "Hiii-dooommeee..."
Yurie whirls her MTA around to face the star wolfs and opens fire with another Fireball Barrage, her MTA's fist snapping out as four balls of plasma lance out at Star Wolf's ship.
Metal Man (GM): Definite hit for number one and 4. The fourth one crits.
Deloth: "Nice throw, Yurie."
Star Wolf: "Massive damage can't stop me!"
Yurie poses, all Jehuty like...
Metal Man (GM): His shield flashes violently.
Gibby drives his mecha towards Pigma, and raises its sword upward. He reaches his destination, over Pigma's ship, and drives the sword downward hoping to connect with a stab.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Razor: "Nice shooting." He turns towards Star Wolf and smirks. His mecha waves a finger at him.
Metal Man (GM): Half damage.
Pigma: "Ha ha ha! Pathetic QUESTER!"
Yurie: "Star Wolf's MINE."
Deloth: "I'm going for Leon."
Metal Man: "Okay... let's see... main cannon, destroy Pigma!"
Gibby: "That's it... YOU'RE GOING DOWN, PIGGY!"
Razor: "Drop his shield first, Deloth, his hull is weakened!"
Metal Man (GM): It -barely- hits.
Pigma: "Gah! Why you little..."
Nick Caligo (GM): A black and yellow MTA shoots up and joins the others. Its design is very slim, and it features heavy, exaggerated shoulder armor with a white collar. Its boots are mostly yellow with black trim, and they're in a style one might expect of Sonic the Hedgehog, what with the pointiness. The skirt armor is white, like the collar. Its head has a single blue eye camera. It throws an arm out to the side, and in its exaggeratedly huge hand appears a giant sized Keyblade in a brilliant flash.
Yurie: "...that must be Sora!"
Star Wolf: "Look, it's a huge plastic toy!"
Gibby: "Greetings, Sora!"
Pigma: "Hahahahahaha!"
Leon: "How am I supposed to be afraid of a KEY?"
Razor: "Glad you could join us kid!"
Yurie: "I would be if I were you..."
Deloth: "You've never seen THIS key, big boy!"
Andrew: "...That reminds me of my brother's weapons!"
Sora: "YaaaaaAAAH!!" He charges STRAIGHT for Wolf, dragging the keyblade behind him before he swings it UP through his ship with a SMASH attack!
Yurie: "HEY! HE's MINE!"
Star Wolf: "A physical attack? What a joke!"
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Nick Caligo (GM): *ShhhhhING!* As Sora SMASHES Wolf's ship, a blast of ice would wash over it, destroying its shield.
Metal Man (GM): Half damage.
Deloth: "Demolition derby!"
Star Wolf: "...My shield's down! You'll... regret that!"
Deloth: "I know who my target is." *He jumps and slashes down on Wolf's ship with his katana.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Star Wolf: "Injury to insult! GRRRR!"
Locos Docos hopes to strike the leader of this circus sideshow by raising... his right hand... at Star Wolf's ship, then he puts his left... elbow... to his right wrist, then charges White Air. Three seconds later, it grows exponentially as he yells and fires it.
Metal Man (GM): Wolf fails to avoid. But still, half damage because it's hitting the hull.
Yurie: "Come on guys, I already claimed him." >.<
Gibby: "I guess they all want a piece of the captain."
Deloth: "Yeah."
Razor: "She did call him first guys... geez..."
Deloth: "I'm going for Leon."
Gibby: "What do you think this IS Razor, a game?"
Locos Docos: "Sorry guys... seems uhh... this MTA doesn't respond to my actions."
Yurie: "Oh that's a load of BS. It works just fine. It's you that's defective!"
Gibby: "What else is new?"
Locos Docos: "!! OOOOOOoooooooooooohhhhhhhhh! You wanna back that up?"
Gibby: "Did you guys forget who the enemies ARE?"
Locos Docos: "Enemies... adversaries... Makes no difference to me."
Deloth: "Shut up and fight Star Wolf!"
Locos Docos: "Are you suggesting that I'm noncompliant, unreliable and can't even control my own actions, Yur!?"
Gibby: "..."
Deloth: *points at Star Wolf.*
Gibby tries not to laugh. He laughs anyway.
Deloth: "FIGHT WITH THEM!"
Locos Docos looks to Gibby... "...I think you think so!"
Gibby's mecha takes it arms, and places them on its stomach, as a sort of chuckle. "Eh? Me... nooooo..."
Locos Docos has his focus back on a random Star Wolf member.
Razor smirks and his mecha leans back a bit, twirling his blades. "Feel it again! Wave... slash!" He boosts in, sending a nice wide slash amongst the entire Star Wolf team with his right blade before slashing at Pigma with the left. The line would shine for a moment before each enemy hit would burst with energy, which would slam into the other ships.
Gibby: "BOO YA!"
Metal Man (GM): All hits.
Deloth: "Go, Razor!"
Metal Man (GM): Only 2 misses.
Locos Docos: "...you are awesome."
Gibby: "Beautiful... Nice move, Razor."
Metal Man (GM): 'Star Wolf: 54/100 0/100.' The others remain ???s.
Yurie growls, then hits the boosters, the MTA rushing at Star Wolf's ship as she thrusts the rapier out at him.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Sora's thrusters flare up to bright blue and he continues to dash after Wolf, actually -passing- him. He swings his Keyblade's tip through the Wolfen's hull, aiming to royally destabilize it and possibly freeze vital components.
Metal Man (GM): *EL HIT.*
Star Wolf: "That's it... time for the secret weapon! Pull back!"
Metal Man (GM): The other members fly back, out of sight.
Yurie: "...uh-oh..."
Razor: "Secret weapon? Oh boy..."
Metal Man (GM): The middle of his Wolfen opens up, revealing a bomb... much like the ones the Questers saw on Arwings... Except... HUGE.
Deloth: "Dodge!"
Star Wolf: "SUPERNOVA BOMB!"
Razor: "RUN AWAY!"
Deloth fires thrusters and jets away.
Metal Man (GM): It launches at the center, EXPLODING, engulfing everyone, even Wolf in the blast.
Yurie grrrs and boosts away, ala Jehuty.
Metal Man (GM): Wolf avoids his own attack.
Yurie: *EVADE!*
Metal Man (GM): So does Yur. More evasion. Deloth is hit.
Sora DIVES downward to escape the blast.
Razor ran away... very fast...
Metal Man (GM): ...And the only person hit was Deloth. X_X.
Sora: "Hehey, Wolfy, nice bomb! You really got us THAT time!"
Metal Man (GM): Deloth's ship is ko'd, leaving him drifting, unable to move his ship.
Locos Docos: "I... will... avenge!"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby avoids as well.
Deloth: "I hope this mech accepts Red 'Shrooms..."
Yurie whirls, the boosters flaring as she backdrifts, floating gracefully now...
Metal Man (GM): Star Wolf is the only one in range now.
Locos Docos powers up his mauler with his Warlock Magic attack, then jerks the joystick forward. Instead, the MTA powers up its boosters and goes backwards. It flies in twenty-one figure 8s at 65 mph an hour. At a 75 degree angle, he flies right by Wolf's Arwing with his mauler extended all the way. The mauler and the arwing will make contact... if he can't evade it of course.
Metal Man: "...Just the right time! FINISH HIM!" *Fires another main cannon beam at him.*
Metal Man (GM): ...Miss. Miss. Again.
Locos Docos goes spinning out of control. "WHHHHAAAHAHHHHYYYAAAIIIIYYAAIII..."
Yurie: "Idiot." -.-
Razor: -.-;
Locos Docos goes all out of control, with what his joystick is not responding.
Metal Man: "...That bomb scrambled my aim!"
Gibby speeds towards Star Wolf. He makes the mecha hold the sword outward, and over its head. It flies straight into the Star Wolf ship for a SMASH attack.
Metal Man (GM): He's hit.
Star Wolf: "Aghhhhhhhhh!"
Locos Docos makes several very large barrel rides around the team of wolf's.
Metal Man (GM): Star Wolf's craft flies out of view, out of control.
Locos Docos: "Uuuuhhhhhhh!! Yyy---Iiiiii'mm... geetttiinngng diiizzzzyyyyy!" @_@
Metal Man (GM): The others have completely disappeared.
Star Wolf: "Curse you Questers!"
Gibby: "Adios, Wolfy!"
Locos Docos' voice sounds similar to Homsars'.
Gibby makes his mecha perform a salute.
Deloth puts a Red Mushroom in his mecha.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth's mecha recovers from the brink of destruction.
Deloth: *crosses his fingers.*
Metal Man (GM): It is now online with a heavily damaged hull.
Yurie sweeps her sword down in a salute...
Razor's mecha twirls its blades before re-attaching them to its hips. He looks around at the others, mech shining in the starlight... untouched.
Metal Man: "Well, that was a great performance... now for the HARD part..."
Locos Docos keeps spinning out of control making circles around his allies as well.
Deloth jets back to the others.
Metal Man boosts forward.
Yurie: <.< >.>
Gibby: "HARD part?"
Yurie extends a fist out... as Docos's mech rams into it.
Metal Man: "We've only begun!"
Deloth follows Metal.
Gibby switches back to flight mode, and puts it on auto pilot.
Razor glances over to Yurie. "Come on!" His wings flap and he boosts straight out behind Metal.
Locos Docos hits the fist really head on.
Yurie sighs, then converts to Flight mode and BOOSTS after the others.
Gibby follows Metal to wherever he's going.
Yurie: *FWOOOOOSH!!*
Metal Man (GM): up ahead, is a large grid of satellites interconnected. Blue fields block the way to the satellite.
Locos Docos violently stops. He turns off the combat thing and turns on the flight and to follow the others.
Deloth puts one more mushroom in his mech.
Locos Docos: "Thhhannnkkk yyoouuuu, YYuuuurrrr!"
Metal Man: "We have to deal with this thing."
Deloth: "How, may I ask?"
Metal Man: "I have no clue."
Razor: "Blow it to pieces?"
Metal Man: "That would be a good idea."
Yurie: "Yeah..."
Locos Docos shakes his head to clear out the garbage that's corrupting his head. "I do not want to be in here another minute!"
Deloth: "So where's the generator?"
Gibby: "Well we should try to eliminate those laser thingies..."
Razor nods. "Right... perhaps ranged attacks would be in order?"
Locos Docos: "?...Guys... I need to do something... over here first..." *He air-walks away...*
Gibby: "Where are YOU going?"
Yurie: "...ohhhhhh no you don't..."
Metal Man (GM): There's also a red central satellite.
Yurie grabs A HOLD of Locos ala Jehuty. "You're staying riiiiiight here."
Razor raises an eyebrow. "That's gotta have something to do with it... should I take a shot at it?"
Deloth: "Red usually means main target."
Gibby: "Be my guest."
Locos Docos speaks very silently...
Deloth backs away a bit.
Metal Man: "Go ahead..."
Razor's mecha curls up slightly in space, his blades starting to crackle with green energy. He focuses on his target in the distance before performing a pair of slashes in front of him. The green waves fly out at the red satellite.
Metal Man (GM): Hits. It starts flashing... the force field is flying towards the Questers now!
Razor: "Crap! Move!"
Metal Man (GM): Deloth is caught in the field. His mecha is de-activated. As is Yurie.
Yurie: "GAHHHHHH!!"
Locos Docos: "...I just got done... saying a prayer."
Metal Man: "What the heck is that?"
Razor: "That's gotta be some sort of EMP field..."
Metal Man (GM): Smithy's face appears on the comms of everyone.
Smithy: "Welcome to my satellite! HAHA HA HA!"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby avoids.
Gibby: "Oh great... HIM..."
Smithy: "There is no escape from my capture net... except for running!"
Razor: "Hey... I know you... you burnt my toast!"
Gibby: "So there WOULD be an escape..."
Smithy: "You will regret such foul words! Satellites, destroy him!"
Razor: >.> <.<
Metal Man (GM): Incoming satellite rays fly at Razor from all directions!
Gibby: "Oh lovely..."
Razor: "...me? YAAAAH!"
Razor goes insane with the numerous dodges... but gets pegged by... two...
Locos Docos: "...Was this a trap!?"
Deloth: "Guys, run! Don't worry about me..."
Smithy: "The most excellent of them all! If you leave, your friends will be killed... or worse... made fallen Questers! Now then... dock with the satellite... or die!"
Gibby: "HA! Like THAT'LL happen."
Metal Man (GM): The fields turn off.
Deloth: "You... fiend..."
Metal Man (GM): Deloth and Yurie are still stuck.
Locos Docos: "...You would really think we would surrender, huh?"
Yurie: "Um... guys? help?"
Deloth's obviously quite stressed.
Smithy: "Or die."
Razor: "Then I guess we'll come a knocking! Come on guys... apparently, for some reason, we both want us on that station. Let's do it our way." He flies over to Yurie and takes a hold of her mecha.
Smithy: "Go near them and you die!"
Gibby: "Any plays on freeing the, guys?"
Metal Man (GM): More lasers fly at Razor!
Gibby: "LOOK OUT!"
Yurie: "Where's a space suit when you need it..."
Deloth: "Not again..."
Gibby speeds towards Razor hoping to take some of the damage.
Razor takes another hit. He just growls. "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?"
Smithy: "You asked for it! MAIN CANNON, FIRE!"
Deloth: "C'mon, c'mon..."
Gibby: "Now WHY did you say that?"
Yurie: "Razor! Get out of here! Don't be a bloody martyr!"
Metal Man (GM): Razor barely avoids being smitten big time by a huge building-sized red deathray.
Deloth is frantically toggling everything in the suit he can find.
Razor flies up and out of the way. "I can't just leave you here!"
Metal Man (GM): It flies into the planet, and blows a crater in Hyrule. Deloth finds nothing of use.
Locos Docos: "...No."
Deloth: "Arrrrgh..."
Locos Docos: "That was my favorite place!"
Metal Man (GM): Hyrule isn't destroyed.
Deloth slams his fist on the control panel.
Metal Man (GM): It just gains a crater in Hyrule Field. Deloth's ship starts up.
Smithy: "NO! Destroy him!"
Metal Man (GM): The red laser is heading for Deloth.
Gibby: "Crap... Deloth!"
Metal Man (GM): *BLAST.* Deloth is reduced to 1 HP, and stunned.
Razor: "Damn! Yurie, hurry up and start up that thing!"
Metal Man (GM): He's floating towards Nintendus.
Deloth: "This reeeeeeeally *beep*s."
Yurie grrs and does a start up as well.
Razor: "Grab Deloth!"
Metal Man (GM): More lasers from satellites fly at Razor.
Yurie: *VMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!*
Metal Man (GM): Yurie's mech starts up.
Gibby speeds towards Deloth, and attempts to grab him.
Razor takes more laser hits... he twists around. "That's it... now you're just making me angry!"
Locos Docos: "If we don't do as we're told, we'll just become like the losers of Smithy."
Smithy: "Activate Tractor field!"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby misses Deloth.
Gibby: "Drat!"
Yurie's Suit comes alive and BOOSTS away...
Metal Man (GM): Everyone starts gravitating towards the now activated force field. Yurie, at full speed, only manages to stay in place.
Gibby: "Uh oh..."
Smithy: "There is no escape!"
Gibby: "He's right... we're stuck."
Locos Docos: "..." *sigh.* "Only one thing to do..."
Metal Man (GM): The cannon keeps on opening fire. Razor evades again. Hyrule field is now with THREE craters. Each the size of a house.
Gibby: "STOP THAT!"
Yurie: "...alright then... you want me... come and get me..." *She inverts... then ROCKETS forwards, using the tractor beam to increase her velocity.*
Metal Man (GM): The satellites open fire on Gibby.
Razor growls. "That's it... screw it... I'm going in!" He leans forward, boosting straight towards the red satellite, also boosted by the tractor, blades held straight out to impale the thing, even if he gets disabled doing it.
Metal Man (GM): Yurie's MTA beeps *DANGER* *DANGER*. She's ZOOMING towards the cockpit. So is Razor.
Gibby: "CRAP!!!"
Yurie: "Say hello to this! FIREBALL BARRAGE!!"
Smithy: "...GAH! Abandon bridge! ABANDON BRIDGE!"
Gibby gets whacked 3 times.
Locos Docos slaps his mech's face.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH.*
Locos Docos: "...This is... embarrassing."
Yurie slams a fist out and releases a string of plasma balls right into the bridge.
Metal Man (GM): The bridge is crippled, and Yurie/Razor's ships are disabled... but managed to dock on the back before losing all control. ...The satellite seems dead. All of them.
Razor gets out of his mecha then.
Locos Docos: "...Hey! Where do we dock?"
Metal Man (GM): The tractor beam is off. ...This can't be... the bridge lights up again?
Smithy: "Ha ha ha! I am invincible! TAKE THIS!"
Metal Man (GM): The big laser cannon suddenly opens fire on Gibby. He gets hit by it, halving his mech's energy.
Gibby: "GAH! Damn it."
Metal Man: "Let's dock before he starts up more death!" *He flies up and docks with the others.*
Locos Docos: "...I'm up!"
Metal Man (GM): Hyrule also gains another crater.
Locos Docos tries to jet pack over with Metal as well.
Gibby does the same as Metal.
Metal Man (GM): Locos's ship is suddenly caught by a yellow beam, dragging him inside the cannon.
Locos Docos: "!!"
Gibby: "Locos!"
Locos Docos: "He's... GOT ME!!"
Metal Man (GM): Locos is taken inside the cannon, and disappears.
Locos Docos tries his best, but can't get away.
Smithy: "HA ha ha!"
Gibby: "Oh SHUT UP!"
Metal Man (GM): The rest of the group is inside the satellite. Despite ramming the heck out of it, this part is undamaged.
Gibby: "I can't believe we lost FOUR guys already..."
Computer: "...Welcome to SmithySat, worthless Questers. A state of-the-art weapon, base, and hideout... it's a triple threat! Ha ha ha..."
Metal Man (GM): The computer stops speaking.
Gibby: "Great."
Metal Man (GM): This room is completely silver, except fro cameras and all sorts of things. There are three doors.
Gibby: "Well... which way should we go?"
Metal Man (GM): One is straight ahead. It says 'To Bridge.' To the left, is 'Engineering' And to the right is 'Communications.'
Razor looks between the three. "The Bridge would be a bad idea... I'm going to go check out Engineering... see if we can't shut this place down. Who's with me?"
Metal Man: "Sounds good."
Deloth rubs his head a bit to clear the dancing spirals. "I'm in."
Gibby: "I wanna check out Communications for a bit."
Metal Man: "Let's not split up." *He goes to open Engineering.*
Gibby: "Don't worry... I can handle myself."
Metal Man: "...It's locked."
Deloth: "Well bust it open then."
Razor slides out his blades and angles them along his forearms as he looks out. "Right... let's go..." He raises an eyebrow to Metal. "Think you can smash it?"
Metal Man smashes it... not even a dent!
Deloth: "Hold up."
Gibby heads over to communications, and goes to open the door.
Deloth: "Does it have a lock?"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby opens the door, revealing a huge room.
Gibby: "This one's opened guys!"
Metal Man (GM): There's screens of stuff everywhere.
Gibby steps inside.
Metal Man (GM): And many, many operators. Even one that shows inside of HQ!
Razor looks over to Gibby. "Where are you going!?!" He bolts over to catch up with him. Maybe they could... gain access through here?
Metal Man follows. "Shhh... they might hear us..."
Deloth tiptoes in with the others.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth steps on a... dorito! *CRUNCH.* Alarms go off everywhere.
Gibby: "Aw crap!"
Metal Man (GM): The screens all change to Smithy's face, watching the Questers.
Deloth: "Why don't these people vacuum?"
Gibby grabs the dorito, and eats it. "Yummy..."
Computer: "RED ALERT!"
Deloth draws his katana.
Smithy: "KILL THE QUESTERS!"
Deloth: "Let's move it!"
Razor flips his blades around. "Looks like it's a fight guys... let's do it!"
Gibby takes out his great sword.
Metal Man (GM): Two headless hover robots, a Magikoopa, and 3 small pawn-like bots appear.
Deloth: "Awwww, man."
Magikoopa: "Look! It's real live Questers! Kill them!"
Razor steps over towards the pawn-like bots, twirling his blades up. The right hand one gleams in the light. Now, let's see how it REALLY works. "Wave..." He brings his blades down in an arc, slicing first through all three, then stabbing into the middle one. "SLASH!" The slice does the whole burst of energy dealio, each additional bolt slamming into the three others.
Metal Man (GM): Those first two all miss, and one crits. It hits the Magikoopa. Then he hits another robot with a stab, and also hits the Magikoopa some more.
Gibby runs towards the Magikoopa, and performs a running slash at its torso.
Yurie turns towards one of the robots, then swings her sword downwards, the tip thumping the deck as she snaps her fingers. A disk of sand appears underneath one of the 'pawn' robots, then explodes upwards in a crackle of sand and electricity.
Metal Man (GM): It evades.
Aribar: *He aims his sword into the air and summons his arcane magic to unleash a torrent of electrical energy upon the Robots.* "Thordain!"
Metal Man (GM): One hit, on the slower bulkier robots. 2x damage. Two pawn-bots converge on Razor from the side with stun-batons. Both miss. Pawn Bot 1 is pretty much auto-miss, of course. One pawn bot attacks Aribar. Hit.
Aribar: "Gah!"
Metal Man (GM): Aribar is stunned for the next round. However, the stun baton loses its charge.
Aribar: "Piff-" *Stunnerized.*
Metal Man (GM): More damage to Ari. The two bulky bots raise their mechguns and fire a hail of lasers at Yurie.
Yurie dodges all but the first one.
Razor backs up a bit. "Yurie... you okay?"
Metal Man (GM): The Magikoopa casts Heal on itself.
Razor blinks a few times and glares at the Magikoopa. "You will die painfully... no amount of healing will stop that now..."
Metal Man glows, running up to the larger robot at giving it a FLAMING UPPER. *HIT.*
Yurie: "Yeah... ow..."
Metal Man (GM): The Magikoopa's BARELY alive.
Razor smirks at the Magikoopa. "Say goodbye! Death, take this soul! Obliterate!" He points his right blade straight out at the Magikoopa. The blade gathers a black shadow aura around it, which then shoots out towards the Koopa, engulfing its body.
Metal Man (GM): *SUPER RESIST.* The Magikoopa is not killed.
Yurie quickly, crouches, then dashes forwards, dancing through and between the robots before slamming one foot into the ground and twisting, whirling sideways before bringing her rapier in a brutal downwards swing towards the Magikoopa's head... SMASH!
Razor blinks a few times. "Well... that didn't work as well as I'd hoped..."
Metal Man (GM): *EL HIT.* Only a small bit of damage to the Magikoopa. He's got one heck of a spell resistance... Since he is a mage, after all.
Aribar remains stunnerized for his turn!
Metal Man (GM): Ari spends his turn stunnerized. He takes his turn being un-stunned.
Gibby attacks one of the pawn bots with an upward slash.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Gibby: "Grr..."
Metal Man runs up to the Magikoopa, and tries to Coup de Grace him with a smash.
Metal Man (GM): That still manages to miss. He baps the armor, to no effect. Magikoopa heals himself again. One of the chunky bots fires at Aribar w/Machinegun.
Razor: "Worry about the others... I'll handle this bozo..."
Aribar is hit all three times.
Metal Man (GM): The other one opens fire on Razor. Managing to miss still. A pawn bot attacks Yurie. Miss.
Aribar is nearly super-dead...
Metal Man (GM): Another one attacks Yurie.
Yurie steps out of the way.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Yurie steps out of the way again.
Razor jumps out of the way of the burst and looks back to Aribar. "You gonna be alright? Don't worry, I've got you covered Ari."
Metal Man (GM): A third one attacks Gibby. Miss.
Gibby ducks.
Yurie slips around the Magikoopa, then reels back her Rapier in one hand, then quickly THRUSTS it forwards in a potent SMASH attack.
Metal Man (GM): *CRIT.*
Yurie: CRITICAL!!!
Metal Man (GM): It DIES.
Gibby: "About time."
Yurie whips her sword around, then salutes gracefully, giving a slight bow as she rocks back on her heels.
Metal Man (GM): A pawnbot runs at Razor. Miss. Another one tries it. Miss. A third one attacks Gibby. Hit.
Gibby: "OW."
Razor parries the two strikes easily. "Alright... you guys are asking for it."
Metal Man (GM): One of the big guys shoots at Yurie.
Yurie: "Someone heal Ari."
Metal Man (GM): The other concentrates on Razor. Hit.
Yurie dances and rolls out of the way of the blasts.
Razor grunts and stumbles back from the blow. "Okay... these guys are pathetic... but you are DEAD!"
Gibby attacks the one that hit him with a wave of fire from his mouth.
Metal Man (GM): It evades.
Gibby: "Blast!"
Metal Man spins his sword, and tries to slash the Magikoopa to death. He misses. AGAIN.
Razor twirls his blades, focusing on the large bot that had attacked him. They crackle with green energy before he lunges towards it, dropping to one knee as he delivers a pair of vertical slashes in the air, which zip out towards the bot.
Metal Man (GM): One hit. Razor blows it to pieces.
Razor looks to the other large bot and points to it. "You're next..."
Metal Man (GM): The remaining refrigerator-esque bot shoots a single laser at Razor. ...Still a miss. The three pawnbots try to pwn Yur. All misses.
Metal Man unleashes Tri-Attack upon the remaining large robot. It fails.
Yurie releases a Sandbolt at the remaining large robo.
Metal Man (GM): It fails the save and takes yet more damage.
Razor steps up to the large robo, twirling his blades up high over his head, holding them together in both hands as if they were one large weapon before bringing them SMASHing down on the robo.
Metal Man (GM): El Hit. That robot is on its last... hover-leg.
Aribar stays KO'ed and near-death.
Yurie growls, then approaches the big machine and SMASHES him.
Metal Man (GM): Miss. The big robot fires on Yur. It misses. The three small robots mob Razor. Ouch. 1 hit.
Razor stumbles back. "That's it... you're all dead! WAVE SLASH!" He steps forward, slashing at all of them, then stabbing the one that stabbed him.
Metal Man (GM): 1 hit. That one misses. Then some damage to the remaining bots... They all go BOOOM.
Yurie: "...whew... finally..."
Aribar is still unconscious... With red potions and Mission Mushrooms about him.
Metal Man revives Aribar with red potion.
Razor: *Fanfare!* *He flips his blades back and sheathes them before moving to assist Aribar... of course if Aribar had DIED... he'd probably be better off... but ah well...*
Aribar is revived and put at low health from the two potions. "Ooooh... Thanks."
Metal Man: "You're welcome."
Razor munches on a shroom himself...
Yurie also swallows a shroom.
Aribar: "Now where to?"
Yurie: "I think we should smash this equipment..."
Metal Man (GM): The doors out and in are blocked.
Gibby: "How do we get out of here?"
Aribar: "Now where?"
Metal Man (GM): The room monitors are all back to normal... but now it's all empty. There's control panels everywhere.
Razor looks around slowly. "Hmm... I don't like it... keep your eyes sharp..."
Gibby: "What if we checked out one of these control panels... maybe it'll open a door."
Deloth unsheathes his katana.
Gibby walks towards one of them.
Metal Man (GM): It has four buttons.
Yurie: "...maybe..I still think we should smash them... knock out Smithy's communications with this thing..."
Metal Man (GM): Zoom out and In, turn off, or self-destruct. There's a large console that controls all of them.
Gibby: "There's a self-destruct button on here... odd how it would be left unguarded like this."
Metal Man (GM): It has these same buttons.
Yurie: "Don't push it."
Razor: "Maybe... we should find a way OUT of this room first."
Yurie: "There's the door we came in..."
Aribar hrms and walks up to the door they came in... He pokes it.
Metal Man (GM): It gets ripples, like water.
Aribar attempts to walk through it.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar walks through it, and appear through the other door. I.E. he doesn't get anywhere fast.
Deloth: "Odd."
Gibby: "It's like a trap."
Aribar: "... I know!" *He walks through that door to get to the other side of the room where he originally was... He's just making sure of something.*
Metal Man (GM): Aribar appear back where he started.
Razor: "Wow... this isn't good..."
Gibby: "Hmmm..."
Aribar turns so his back is to the door. He then backs into it...
Metal Man (GM): The main console is still sitting there. Aribar appears on the other side of the room again, walking backwards.
Aribar: "BLAST!"
Gibby: "Maybe that big console can fix it."
Razor turns and looks at the console again. "Maybe..."
Yurie checks over the console and searches for anything that might help.
Metal Man (GM): The console's Self Destruct seems helpful in some strange way... Something about the fact that it's purple...
Gibby: "Maybe if you shut it off, you can get rid of these magic doors."
Razor: "Maybe..."
Metal Man (GM): There's also the master shutdown.
Yurie: "..." *She presses the Shutdown button.*
Metal Man (GM): The monitors turn blank.
Yurie: "There."
Computer: "COMMUNICATIONS DISABLED."
Gibby: "Uh oh... I hope nobody ELSE heard that."
Metal Man (GM): ...There's some sort of shadow coming out of the button... All purple...
Yurie: "...what the..." *He draws her sword...*
Metal Man (GM): ...It's a portal!
Razor blinks a few times. "I don't know if that really helped... what the..." He backs away slowly, unsheathing his blades.
Yurie: "...huh..." *He blinks..*
Deloth: "A portal..."
Gibby: "Well I'M not going in it... who knows what's on the other side."
Aribar blinks and raises his sword, Thordain ready.
Razor raises an eyebrow. "You... Deloth... poke your head in."
Deloth: "It might be our only choice..."
Yurie: "Yeah... poke your head through Deloth..."
Deloth pokes his head in and looks around.
Gibby: "See anything?"
Metal Man (GM): Deloth instantly vanishes from existence.
Gibby: "!!!!"
Razor: "...umm..." He activates the scanners in his suit (Dex scan) on the portal.
Gibby: "Where'd he go?"
Dex: "...DING!"
Yurie: "Um... shit... this must be a portal to some evil dimension where nothing makes sense... like a bad online game or something..."
Gibby shouts "DELOTH! ARE YOU THERE?"
Dex: "Dark World Portal."
Razor: "Aha! I knew it..."
Aribar: "... He never existed... Is that okay?"
Dex: "Go in here, and you'll visit the Dark World... where the Heartless and Ganondorf rule! It is the only escape from this room."
Gibby: "That means Deloth's in trouble. Come on!"
Yurie: "...great."
Gibby runs right into the portal.
Razor narrows his eyes. "This may be our only choice guys... I don't like it... but I don't see any other way out. Geronimo!" He dives on in.
Metal Man (GM): Gibby vanishes from existence, as does Razor.
Yurie: "Lovely... Banzai!" *She leaps in.*
Aribar: "... I'm not too sure about this, but okay..." *He edges over to the portal... And pokes it... He then jumps in...*
Metal Man (GM): Everyone re-appears into what should be the Satellite Comms room... but it's horribly different... Ganondorf's symbols are everywhere.
Gibby: "Deloth? You ok?"
Razor: "Whoa..."
Metal Man (GM): The chairs are empty, reflecting what the Questers did in the light world.
Deloth: "Uhhhhnnn..."
Metal Man (GM): The door back does not exist... but the door forward is open.
Deloth appears a bit dizzy, but snaps out of it.
Gibby: "You'll be fine... we better check out that door though."
Aribar blinks and looks at himself wondering what form he'll take.
Deloth: "Good sweet mike, what IS this place?"
Metal Man (GM): No one is morphed, though.
Yurie: "The Dark World..." *She blinks... wondering why she wasn't anything weird looking...*
Dex: "Built-in Moon Pearl activated!"
Aribar: "Hrm..."
Gibby unsheathes his sword, and walks toward the door hoping not to find an enemy.
Aribar: "Let's not lose our Dexes."
Yurie: "...well gentlemen... shall we press on?"
Metal Man (GM): Inside the next door, is...
Razor narrows his eyes as he looks around. "Huh... didn't know we had those... but it's gotta be some kind of drain on the Dex... let's hurry up and get out of here before it runs out." He moves on up with Gibby.
Gibby looks inside.
Yurie has her sword out and follows Gibby...
Metal Man (GM): ...A large, empty room.
Gibby: "All clear so far." *He steps inside the room.*
Deloth follows Gibby with katana out. "Don't be too sure..."
Aribar follows.
Yurie steps in as well, slowly turning in a circle as she walks, keeping an eye out...
Metal Man (GM): There's no door on the other end... but the door back can't be seen when one looks back.
Deloth: "Trapped again..."
Gibby: "Oh great... trapped again."
Deloth kicks a wall.
Razor grips his blades tightly, glancing from side to side. "Hrm... now I REALLY don't like this... don't be too sure guys... stay cautious..."
Metal Man (GM): An unholy laughter is heard.
Deloth whips around.
Aribar: "... We need a Magic Mi--Whose that?"
Gibby lifts up his sword. "What was that?"
Metal Man (GM): A large green portal opens.
Deloth battle stances.
Yurie: "...uh oh..."
Deloth: "Get ready!"
Gibby: "Looks like we got company."
Yurie pulls herself into fighting stance as well...
Metal Man (GM): ...It's Metal! ...No... it's green...
Aribar: "Dex, get ready to scan!"
???: "Ha ha ha! Welcome to Ganondorf's second moon!"
Dex: "...Scanning ability is disabled in Dark World."
Yurie: "...you're -what-?"
Gibby: "Who goes there?"
Deloth: "Nuts."
???: "I am Matek, ruler of this moon!"
Razor shifts his stance, holding his hands up around shoulder level, elbows bent in.
Matek: "Ganondorf and the Heartless destroyed the Questers..."
Gibby turns to the others. "Anyone here ever heard of Matek?"
Deloth: "Not me."
Matek: "And now, we have become the great rulers."
Yurie: "...um..guys? Anyone here destroyed?"
Matek: "Who would you be?"
Gibby: "Hate to break it to ya, but we're the Questers!"
Deloth: "Talk about a twisted reality..."
Matek: "The QUESTERS?"
Aribar blinks.
Metal Man (GM): He suddenly lets out a bloodcurdling scream.
Yurie: "Yup."
Gibby: "In the flesh... and fur... and other skin-like features. GAH!"
Metal Man (GM): Yurie is stunned solid by the screaming.
Yurie: "NNGH! Not... gain..."
Metal Man (GM): So is Gibby... and even with his special ability's attempt to jam it, Deloth is stunned.
Matek: "You... horrible monsters..."
Deloth: "This... stinks..."
Matek: "The ones who killed the Hylians!"
Gibby: "Tell... me... about it..."
Razor grits his teeth, ears ringing. "Damn... what are you talking about?"
Matek: "Destroyer of the Mushroom Kingdom!"
Yurie: "Sunon... uhn..shtunme..."
Matek: "Murderers of all that is holy!"
Razor: "Sorry... but not in OUR world..."
Aribar: "... That would be SMITHY."
Matek: "I will destroy you all in the name of Ganondorf!"
Deloth: "We... are... good guys... idiot..."
Matek: "Smithy? What is a Smithy?"
Aribar: "... An iron man..."
Matek: "Our Ironsmiths are not evil, like you!"
Gibby: "He... doesn't... know... Smithy... in... this world..."
Razor: "I don't think he's going to believe us guys..."
Aribar: "Hrm... Wait..."
Matek: "...Wait... if you became Fallen Questers, you COULD help us."
Aribar: "So you have villages and towns here? And civilians?"
Matek: "They are all... DEAD!"
Gibby: "Think about it... dark world... everything's the opposite... we're probably... the bad guys!"
Aribar: "... But there used to be this stuff?"
Matek: "There are only 100 people in the entire universe! Yes..."
Yurie: "Sunon... uhn... shtunme!"
Razor blinks a few times. "Help you with what?"
Matek: "We are the survivors of YOUR rampage!"
Matel: "Help us rebuild!"
Aribar: "..."
Matek: "...Ganondorf tells me to kill you. I must obey."
Aribar: "We cannot help you... That would destroy our own world!"
Razor chuckles softly. "Ganondorf is corrupted."
Yurie: "SUNON UHNSHTUNME!"
Gibby: "He's probably... a savior... in this world..."
Aribar looks at Yurie and blinks...
Deloth: "What... is... Yurie... saying..."
Metal Man (GM): Matek waves his hand, and all who were stunned are flung to the floor and unstunned.
Gibby: "Beats... me... GAH!"
Deloth: "UMPH!"
Yurie was -stunned,- remember?
Gibby falls, and gets back up.
Yurie: "OOF!"
Deloth slowly stands.
Yurie lands, skids a bit backwards, then gets to her feet.
Matek: "Now then... swear oath to Ganondorf, or DIE!"
Gibby: "Sorry, but I want no business with that freak!"
Aribar: "Ganondorf took my arm! He is my enemy!"
Razor: "Listen... we just want out of HERE and back to our own world. Help us and we'll be out of your hair... don't, and we'll just have to find our own way."
Yurie: "Yeah. we don't want any trouble, honest." ^^ "...okay, you want me to swear? God C E N S O R E D ! to Ganondorf! There, I swore an oath."
Editor's Note: I would have replaced the CENSORED part with the right curse word, but the only one which fit was, ironically, less shocking than 'C E N S O R E D.'
Razor glances over to Yurie. "...umm... I thought we were trying to negotiate here..."
Gibby: "...I don't think he meant LITERALLY swear."
Razor: "If you want us to prove we're not from this world, we can prove it to you."
Matek: "You mean, than huge portal in the other room?"
Razor: "...that's one thing..."
Yurie: "Yah." ^^
Matek: "Great! Then we shall take over your world to make up for our ruined one!"
Metal Man (GM): He starts walking towards the portal.
Yurie: "Um... no you won't."
Deloth dives and tries to tackle Matek.
Yurie: "...okay, screw it. SANDBOLT!!"
Metal Man (GM): Deloth tackles Matek's arm. Then he teleports back.
Razor flips his blades a bit. "We didn't want to do this."
Matek: "Fine... I'll do what I was supposed to do!"
Razor: "You can go ahead and try it..."
Aribar casts True Strike on himself before doing a Bi-Bolt Slash on Matek.
Metal Man (GM):Hit.
Matek: "Ha ha ha! Try it like this!"
Metal Man (GM): Matek runs to stab Aribar.
Aribar: "GAK!" *Is now one hit away from death.*
Deloth spins his katana and slams it into the ground, creating a white wave of energy. "Phasebolt!"
Razor steps back. "Damn... Ari! Alright... now you've done it. ANNIHILATE!" His blades crackle green as he flips them up over his head and slashes downward, spitting out two waves of energy.
Razor: CRITICAL HIT!
Gibby runs at Matek, his sword raised up over his head. When he gets about 10 feet away from him, he takes his sword, and jams it into the ground. He then leaps up into the air using the sword as support (like a pole vault). He keeps hold of the sword though, and Gibby starts flying towards Matek's direction. While in the air, he lifts the sword up over his left shoulder, and brings it down on Metak's chest with all his might.
Metal Man (GM): Razor gets two hits. Gibby misses. Matek screams again.
Gibby: "Crap! Stupid... screaming..."
Razor cringes as his hands try to cup his ears from outside the suit's helmet.
Metal Man (GM): Full damage on P-bolt.
Yurie growls, then takes a five foot step, moving right up to Matek, her Rapier singing a she whips it about her body, then steps forwards and JAMS her rapier, HARD, at Matek. (SMASH!)
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Matek: "Hah. You cannot scratch me to death!"
Yurie growls, then steps forwards and slashes her sword out to Disarm him.
Metal Man (GM): Yurie knocks it out of his hands.
Yurie: *DISARM!*
Matek: "You'll regret that!"
Yurie: "Okay guys, HAMMER HIM!"
Matek: "WALL!"
Gibby: "...wall?"
Metal Man (GM): He gains more defense.
Razor simply grunts, ears still ringing.
Gibby: "GAH!"
Yurie: "Use spells on him dammit!"
Gibby: "Hmmm... if we can knock his armor off, he might weaken."
Matek: "Hah. You'd have to wait for my wall to break first!"
Deloth decides to use a different attack. "Water Jet!"
Metal Man (GM): *MATEK EVADE.*
Gibby opens his mouth, and lets out a wave of fire aimed straight at Matek.
Matek: "I killed the Questers once... I can kill them twice!"
Metal Man (GM): *MATEK EVADE TWO.*
Gibby: "Blast... he's fast also!"
Razor is sure glad he read that strategy guide while he was stunned... he lifts his hand into the air. "This should break through! FREE ENERGY!" His blade gains a purplish glow before streak of energy form numerous explosions around Matek.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Full damage.
Matek: "Now then... take THIS!" He points his hand at Gibby, and suddenly, all hell's worth of rocks and fire and lightning and meteors fly from the air to hit Gibby.
Gibby: "EEP!" X_X *dies...*
Matek: "Haha! Another triumph for the house!"
Metal Man (GM): Gibby reappears.
Gibby: "I'll get you for that!" *He opens his mouth, and this time purple gas appears, and heads straight for Matek.*
Metal Man (GM): Matek evades that too.
Deloth uses one of his mushrooms on Aribar. Then he uses another mushroom on Ari.
Aribar: "That does it..." *He casts not one, but TWO Sand Storms on this SOB thanks to his Heroic Surge.*
Metal Man (GM): DOUBLE success.
Matek: "Gah! My foot's stuck!. OW! Why you little!"
Metal Man (GM): Ari get 500 coins and the 'Improbable Luck' award.
Yurie snaps her fingers, invoking Interposition before moving over to pick up the Lightsaber.
Metal Man (GM): Despite how hot it felt when he held it, it's now stone cold. It feels... weird. Yurie picks it up.
Gibby: "...Yurie... use the force, Yurie. It's your only hope."
Matek: "And now, for my next attack!"
Gibby: "What are you gonna do? Pull a rabbit out of your hat?"
Razor chuckles softly.
Metal Man (GM): Matek points his finger at Razor, and a rainbow colored lightning bolt lances out at him.
Matek: "ZIGZAG!"
Metal Man (GM): Razor avoids it.
Razor dives out of the way and rolls on the ground before jumping back to his feet. "That's a stupid name for a stupid attack."
Matek: "Why, go ahead and take that sword!"
Gibby: "...I wanted to see a rabbit..."
Matek: "It belonged to your alternate version self anyways... now that I remember."
Yurie: "Dex, scan this weapon..." *scans the lightsaber.*
Dex: "...Unable-to-scan."
Yurie growls, then aims the lightsaber at Matek, then jabs it forwards rapidly, releasing a string of fireballs.
Metal Man (GM): All misses. He leaps up, around, to the side, and under the shots.
Aribar hrms... And Thordains it!
Metal Man (GM): El Evade.
Matek: "Ha ha! You can't hit me!"
Deloth runs forward and Phasebolts Matek again.
Gibby: "Grr..."
Matek: "Missed me again! Hah!"
Razor smirks and swipes his blade in the air. "Dodge this!" He sends another Free Energy at Matek, hoping to eventually wear him down at least.
Metal Man (GM): El Half Damage.
Gibby opens his mouth, and shoots out another wave of fire at Matek.
Metal Man (GM): He fails. Full damage.
Matek: "Ah! Worthless elbow!"
Gibby: "...did he just call me an elbow?"
Matek: "And now... for this!"
Metal Man (GM): He runs up and punches Yurie... or attempts to. He misses.
Yurie ducks underneath the punch...
Gibby: "Humph... trying to hit a woman..."
Matek: "Are you serious? It's worse to hit another man!"
Gibby goes to teach him a lesson by running up to him, and giving him a SMASH stab!
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Gibby: "THAT'LL teach ya..."
Aribar attempts another Thordain.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Gibby: "..." -_-; "..."
Matek: "Owowowowow! You raised my peaceplane!"
Razor twirls his blades before unleashing another Annihilation attack.
Deloth attempts another hit with a Phasebolt.
Metal Man (GM): Miss for Deloth. Two misses for Razor.
Yurie growls... then tries a powerful THRUST from the saber into Matek's chest.
Metal Man (GM): He just laughs and leaps over the attack.
Matek: "This is so easy, I'm not even trying to kill you anymore!"
Metal Man (GM): Matek just does nothing but dance.
Gibby: "Oh yeah... well THINK FAST!" *He rushes towards Matek with his sword, and attempts to hit him with an upward slash.*
Metal Man (GM): He sighs and leaps out of the way.
Gibby: "...when I said think fast, I didn't mean to actually THINK fast..."
Aribar: "... Sand Storm!"
Gibby grumbles, and goes back to the group.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar keeps on hitting him.
Matek: "Ow! That hurts!"
Yurie growls, then repeats her Fireball barrage.
Metal Man (GM): Matek punches away the fireballs easily.
Deloth keeps up Phasebolting Matek.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Razor growls angrily, his Lavis Blades blazing with energy. "Just shut up and get out of our way!" He lunges forward and slashes upwards, sending the waves into his chest from rather short range.
Metal Man (GM): One hit! And miss! He's REALLY beaten up now.
Matek: "...This can't be! You hurt me!"
Aribar: "Hah!"
Razor: "Damn right I hurt you!"
Gibby opens his mouth, and shoots out some more of that purple plague substance at Matek.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Gibby: "BAH! This is so embarrassing..."
Deloth: "Let's finish this nut!" *He blasts Matek with a Phasebolt.*
Yurie growls, then releases ANOTHER fireball swarm.
Metal Man (GM): ...Miss. Hit! Miss. Miss. SUPER AOO MISS. He dies before he can touch anyone with his next attack.
Matek: "No... not no-" *EXPLODE.*
Deloth: "Nice job."
Gibby: "About time..."
Aribar sighs and falls the the ground... "Too... Tough."
Razor twirls his blades around his fingertips before standing straight up and sheathing his blades.
Yurie nods to that, then turns off the laser sword and pockets it...
Metal Man (GM): And... 3000 coins. He was a rich powerful meanie. He left a card... and a portal to the light world.
Yurie: "...?"
Deloth takes the card.
Yurie picks up the card as Deloth holds it.
Deloth: "Too late."
Gibby: "What's that?"
Deloth: "I got it first."
Gibby points to the card... obviously.
Deloth reads the card.
Metal Man (GM): Deloth and Yur are both holding onto the card. It is to access 'Engineering' on the Satellite.
Yurie: "...fine. Let's go."
Deloth lets Yurie have the card. Then he jumps into the portal.
Razor shakes his head and silently walks into the portal.
Aribar gets up... "Greediness... Reminds me back almost a year ago when greed almost killed us..."
Gibby sheaths his sword, and steps into the portal.
Metal Man (GM): The Questers appear back in the first room.
Yurie steps in as well..."
Gibby: "Well that wasn't fun..."
Razor: "What are you talking about, Gibby? That was lots of fun!"
Gibby: "...yeah... if you LIKE being shamed."
