Super Smash Quest - Story - Chapter 95: Metal Tournament Madness
Date: November 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2004.
Trivia: Mission order goes completely out of whack date-wise. Look forward to some more sessions which happen next to or inside one another's times OOCly.
Metal Man (GM): All Questers, are at Quester HQ. A black beam, similar to Link's teleporting beam, but black, lands on the ground. Metal and Yurie have already teleported back home. Aribar lands on the ground. Nobody has seen him yet.
Aribar hrms and steps forward from the warp. He looks up at his former home... The elf rests the Sword of Darkness on his shoulder and walks towards the front door...
soursurfer: "Nice to see you all again; it's been a while."
Metal Man (GM): The door opens as it always does, just for Aribar. Soursurfer, Yurie, and Digi are in the lobby. The receptionist sees Aribar.
Receptionist: "...Hello, Aribar. What's with the sword?"
Aribar heads over to the receptionist acting like nothing is wrong. "Oh, nothing... I do need you to summon all the melee fighters and Questers, though. Or, if not all the melee fighters, Mewtwo..."
Receptionist: "Right away."
Metal Man (GM): The receptionist presses a button, and an alarm goes off. 'ALL QUESTERS TO MAIN ROOM.'
Digifanatic: (mumbling) "Oh boy..." *He walks cautiously to the main room.*
Metal Man walks in...
soursurfer reports to the main room.
Gibby ...walks in.
Metal Man (GM): Everyone who goes to the main room sees Aribar with the sword of darkness. Gibby still has that frying pan.
Aribar: "Hello, all!"
soursurfer: "Aribar! How long's it been?"
Metal Man pulls out the sword of light.
Gibby: "Ari! You STILL have that sword?"
Metal Man: "What're you doing here? I thought the sword was broken?"
Metal Man (GM): The Smashers start to fill in... as does Mewtwo... and some robots, just for measure.
Aribar: "Oh, Zio fixed it... Hello, Sour. You must not be caught up on the events..."
Mewtwo: "What in the name of Wolfman is going on?"
soursurfer: "Not really. I've been tending to personal matters for a few years..."
Yurie is sitting in the Main room, alongside... Alys?
Aribar: "Wolfman... Funny you'd mention him..."
Digifanatic: "Hey girls."
Alys: "...That's the sword of Darkness!"
Digifanatic: "Girls, women, whatever. You're both females."
Metal Man (GM): Alys pulls out the red emerald.
Aribar: "I just met him in the X-Zone... But I suppose I should just get down to business?" *He lowers the Sword of Darkness from his shoulder.*
Alys: "Don't make me use this red rock on you!"
Metal Man: "The sword of darkness pales in comparison to my sword of light."
Yurie: "Alys, calm down... he's on our side... for now..."
Aribar: "Metal, that sword is fake."
Yurie glares at Aribar, then at Alys... then sits back.
Alys: "...Fine... but I never did trust him... with those shifty eyes..."
Gibby: "And my frying pan is... well... it can cook a mean egg omelet."
Metal Man: "No it isn't! Wolfman gave me it himself!"
Aribar: "Wolfman gave it to you to--Umm... Maybe I shouldn't tell..."
Metal Man: "I mean... I found it under a trash dumpster! ...Wolfman gave it to me for what?"
Aribar: "But if it IS the true Sword of Light then let me strike it with my own sword... Nothing should happen, right?"
Metal Man: "Actually... it should cause a nuclear explosion that would kill us all."
soursurfer widens his eyes.
Metal Man: "Touching them together destroys both of them as well as the people wielding them."
Gibby: "...that's a bad thing, right?"
Metal Man: "Kinda like those chemistry experiments where you stick that weird thing in water and it explodes. Yeah."
Aribar: "... Then Gibby should keep his frying pan from me... It is the true Sword of Light."
soursurfer: "Rubidium, Metal."
Gibby: "...huh?" *He looks at his frying pan.*
Aribar walks towards Metal with his sword extended and ready for combat.
Metal Man: "What?"
Aribar: "We can always warp to a secluded location to test this."
Gibby: "Looks like a regular frying pan to me... nothing 'light' about it... or even swordy."
Yurie: "Ahem..."
Mewtwo: "There is to be NO fighting here without regular procedures!"
Yurie: "Well said..."
Mewtwo: "Have you forgotten the Melee Stadium!"
Digifanatic: "Mewtwo's got a point."
Mewtwo: "Even evil people are allowed to use it, if they want to prove a point."
Aribar: "... Mewtwo, you psychic twit, I'm not a Quester anymore... I don't follow your stupid rules... Now, I shall prove my point!" *He dashes forward to strike Metal's 'Sword of Light.'*
Metal Man (GM): That attack misses.
Metal Man: "You want to fight me? YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME? TAKE THIS!"
Aribar: "Hmp... Stand still and let me prove my point, Metal..."
Metal Man picks up a couch and throws it at Aribar.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH*
Aribar: "Ouch!"
Metal Man then runs up to Aribar and smacks him with his baton.
Digifanatic backs into a corner of the room.
Aribar: "I wish I still had True Stri--Hey!"
Metal Man (GM): *Miss.*
Metal Man: "Questers! GET HIM!"
Aribar: "No! If you involve the Questers..."
Metal Man: "You'll die three horrible deaths?"
Aribar: "I shall summon an army of unholy creatures to level this entire place."
Yurie: "I doubt you will..."
Aribar: "Do you wish me to demonstrate that as well?"
Yurie rushes Aribar, drawing her sword smoothly before she SLASHES him.
Metal Man: "Yeah... then I will suddenly turn into a tree and sing songs."
Aribar quickly tries to summon up something, anything, to take the blow...
Metal Man (GM): HIT.
Yurie then follows up with a upwards KICK.
Metal Man (GM): *HIT.*
Yurie knocks Aribar up into the air, then follows up with a HEADWIND.
Aribar: "Ow! Stop it this instant!"
Yurie: CRIT.
Metal Man (GM): Aribar is knocked back into a wall, and explodes. He reappears, with the sword, down one life.
Gibby: "Nice one, Yurie."
Metal Man: "Now then... do you really want to get beaten up twice more?"
Yurie lands, then poses, sheathing her sword and blowing a kiss at the audience.
Aribar: "Grr... That -DOES- it!"
Digifanatic: "Nice one... let's see if he wishes to continue..."
Aribar focuses his energy on the Sword of Darkness... He attempts to conjure up an army of death and destruction that Zio said he could summon.
Metal Man (GM): The ground shakes... runes, blacker than the sword's surface, start glowing.
Yurie: "?!"
Metal Man (GM): Undead and mutated monsters rise from the Earth.
Gibby: "Now I KNOW this is bad."
Aribar: "Heh..."
Yurie: "Yeah... um, Alys? Care to assist us?"
Aribar: "Stop right now! In addition to this I can infect you all with the D-cell virus... Let me say that it is -NOT- nice. "
Alys: "Well then, I'll take care of them for you."
Metal Man (GM): Alys glows with red... and then she throws the Slasher. *About 200 monsters in a row are beheaded due to the property of hit-all on the Slasher.*
Gibby: "WHOOT!"
Yurie: "...niiiiice!"
Alys: "I can kill everything you summon, and then you."
Digifanatic: "Well done."
Alys: "I killed Zio before... what difficulty is it to kill you?"
Metal Man: "Thanks for the warning, though. We'll have to make a cure for this virus."
Aribar: "... Just wondering... Do you know where Wolfman was all this time?"
Gibby: "...on vacation?"
Metal Man: "No. He ran off, Maverick, after we discovered that our old days were reality show episodes..."
Aribar: "... Wrong! He was Eldorado!"
soursurfer again raises his eyebrows.
Yurie: "...huh??"
soursurfer: (mumbling) "...I've been away too long."
Metal Man: "Yeah right. Probably as true as that pathetic amount of undead we beheaded... and your thought that this sword is fake."
Alys: "HEY! I was the one who beheaded them!"
Metal Man: "Right... right..."
Aribar: "Metal, what must I do to tell you that that sword is fake?"
Metal Man: "Blow us all up with the nuclear explosion as the REAL sword of light touches the sword of Darkness."
Gibby conceals the frying pan.
Metal Man: "I'm not going to let you blow everyone up over a silly joke." *He hands the sword to Mewtwo.* "Mewtwo, lock the sword of light away until Aribar is gone."
Metal Man (GM): Mewtwo nods, warping the sword away.
Aribar: "..."
Metal Man: "Now then... do you have anything interesting to do?"
Aribar: "... Okay. So you think that is the sword of light... Let my blade touch Gibby's frying pan then!"
Metal Man: "Go ahead."
Gibby: "Noooo way! I'm not risking it."
Aribar starts towards Gibby, the sword raised.
Gibby steps back a bit.
Metal Man: "You'll just have to get Gibby first."
soursurfer steps in front of Gibby.
Aribar: "That frying pan ought to communicate with us if it is the real sword, right? It would stop me..."
Metal Man: "Good for it."
soursurfer: "There's no need to be so rash... if Metal doesn't believe you, don't worry about him."
Aribar just continues towards Gibby, his step hastened a bit...
Gibby: "And if it were real, it could kill us all. And personally, I don't want to... explode." *He steps back even more.*
Metal Man: "I am confident in Gibby's abilities... as well as Mewtwo's, and all the others."
Aribar: "Then, Gibby, it would WARN US! Ask its sticky pad on the bottom on what would happen..."
Gibby: "Alright fine..." *He holds up the frying pan.* "So... Mr. frying pan thingy... what would happen if you touched the sword of darkness?"
Metal Man (GM): The sticky note says, 'Aribar would explode.'
Aribar: "... I suggest everyone who doesn't want to die head to a nuclear shelter..." *Continues towards Gibby.*
Gibby: "Alright, there you go... you'd explode."
Aribar raises his sword towards the frying pan...
Gibby shrugs. "It's your funeral."
Metal Man (GM): The note then says, 'Strike him down while he thinks he's going to nuke us all.'
Gibby raises the frying pan so that it looks like he's going to have it be touched... only to instead use the frying pan to whack Aribar in the head.
Metal Man (GM): *THWACK.*
Aribar tries to leap back from it, only to be smote. "GAH!"
Metal Man (GM): Aribar is hit on the head.
Gibby: "Take THAT!"
Aribar quickly tries to cry out to Zio mentally. "Help! They will not listen! They hid the sword! They're killing me!"
Metal Man (GM): Aribar is dizzy. The sword glows, and Aribar disappears.
Gibby blinks...
Metal Man: "That was about all the uproar I could handle... good work, Gibby. I'll promote you for that."
Gibby: "HORRAY!" *He does the Gibby dance... with the frying pan.*
Metal Man pays Gibby 2000 coins... Yurie 2000 as well.
Gibby kisses the frying pan. "Thank you, magical frying pan."
Metal Man (GM): And with that ended, next there is...
Charles continues his trek. The Mystic Ruins lie in wait for the Admiral of the MM and the toasty head that is following him. "Okay, so I understand your plight about you and your army staying with me until your power is restored... but what I don't understand is why you're following me to Angel Island."
Smithy: "I have no headquarters left."
Charles: "I understand... partially, but I have none on this floating island. I've come here to make a visit... Now where is Sandopolis..."
Smithy: "In Dry Dry Desert. Buried."
Charles checks the Advanced Smashdex. "I've come to knowledge of this island, and I'm positive of the desert that you're thinking of is different from the Sandopolis Zone of Angel Island."
Smithy: "Oh... well, I can explain why it is as it is. ...When Angel Island was warped here, it sent several pieces of itself about the world. All places sent here did that."
Charles facepalms. "Please tell me you're kidding... If what you say is true, then the Lava Reef connected to Sandopolis and the Hidden Palace connected to the Lava Reef can be in three different places??"
Smithy: "Yes... I've also heard rumors of roughly 15 Metal Sonics all moving at once..."
Charles: "... Then the situation is more dire... Kajidoh, finding the Hidden Palace Zone means to me almost as the Grape Garden project. I MUST find it. What do you know of the coordinates of it?"
Smithy: "Metal Sonic is the only one who knows the coordinates... I haven't been able to find that out yet."
Charles: "Very well then... Lord Kajidoh, tell the boys I've gone Metal Sonic huntin'. I'll be back in 3 days. tell me the last known coordinates of one of the 15 MS's and head back to base."
Smithy: "So far... they surround Toad Town 2."
Charles: "Quester hunter base?"
Smithy: "Yes."
Charles: "Then cancel what I said. We're headin' back..." *He sets his sights back for Magellan Tower. He heads back.* "Our dreams will soon come true... but first, we will wage war against those Hunters." *He arrives back at base.* "Let's see what's new..."
Metal Man (GM): And after that interlude... back to the Stadium, on the next day!
Falco: "Welcome, Melee Stadium Fans, to the first match of the season! I'm your host, Falco Lombardi... currently sitting in for Mario, who seems to have eaten too much pasta. Now then, today's match is a team battle. Yurie and Soursurfer vs. Digifanatic and Gibby! Will sour wit defeat sweet revenge? Will yellow defeat pink? Find out... now!"
Metal Man (GM): The doors to each side open. Yurie and Soursurfer emerge out of the right side, and Digi/Gibby emerge out of the left.
Yurie (GM): *Yurie's Theme: Eres Des Points - FF6.*
Digifanatic: "BRING IT ON YOU TWO!"
Falco: "The contestants are approaching the holo-pit. The crowd is going wild!"
Gibby: "Yeah... bring it!"
Yurie walks out, scarf fluttering softly as she waves to the roaring crowd, then leaps over the side and onto a hover platform.
Falco: "Today's arena is the newly programmed Super Smash HQ! There will be no items, but this arena is packed with wacky items! That's right... chairs, book cases, beer kegs... you name it!"
soursurfer walks, balancing himself with his Acumen Staff, then lifts it above his head before taking his spot on the field.
Yurie: *Beginning Stadium Construction...*
Falco: "Today's order shall be decided not by speed, but by alphabetic order!"
Yurie (GM): The area lights up, wireframes lancing out and across the pit, creating a solid holographic floor, followed by the 'walls' and items. The teams are dropped into the arena..
Falco: "So that means... Digifanatic, Gibby, Soursurfer, then Yurie! Each fighter gets three lives. The winner gets big prizes!"
Gibby: "Nice place... too bad we have to mess it up."
Digifanatic: *Laughs.*
Yurie (GM): *Threshold Set: 100% Damage.*
Falco: "And now for the countdown. Three... Two... One..."
Yurie nods to Gibby and Digi, then draws her sword and blows a kiss to the crowd.
Falco: "GO!"
Digifanatic: (to Gibby) "Let's get em." *He starts by launching out a Fire Punch to Yurie.*
Yurie is HIT.
Falco: "And Digifanatic just started by laying the smackdown on Yurie!"
Digifanatic continues with a Karate Double--insert fake Oriental noises. "Come on Gibby!"
Metal Man (GM): *Miss.*
Yurie rolls out of the way of the strike..
Gibby decides to begin by firing a shot at Sour.
Metal Man (GM): Miss!
Gibby: "Blast."
soursurfer runs at Gibby and shows him what for with a Flame Rush.
Yurie: "Sour, Deal with Gibby, Digi is mine..."
Falco: "And team Blue... have started out with bad accuracy!"
Yurie grrs, then goes after Digi, trying to nail him with a quick swing from Nightingale, her sword.
soursurfer: "Perhaps you should handle this one, Yurie. He's a bit too agile for me."
Metal Man (GM): *HIT.*
Digifanatic: "Yowch!"
Falco: "After her team mate missed, Yurie is showing Digi who's boss!"
Yurie then follows that up with a step forwards, thrusting her sword at Digi's body as streamers of light zing around it, executing a Slice and Dice.
Metal Man (GM): Hit, hit, COMBO BROKEN.
Digifanatic tries backing up, but just gets smacked around hard.
Gibby: "...ouch."
Falco: "Digi has taken heavy damage! Will he get revenge?"
Digifanatic: "Oh boy... you're looking for it." *He launches Thunderstorm at Yurie, just to try for revenge.* "DANG IT!"
Yurie calmly steps out of the way.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 39% Gibby: 0% Sour: 0% Yurie: 18%.
Falco: "Another move, missed!"
Gibby decides to use the background to his advantage. He grabs hold of a chair, and SWINGS it at Sour. "Have a SEAT!"
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* The chair breaks.
soursurfer gets knocked backwards from the blow.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 39% Gibby: 0% Sour: 8% Yurie: 18%.
Gibby then fires another shot at Sour
Digifanatic: "Ouch."
Gibby: "Crap! Forgot to aim..."
Metal Man (GM): Gibby almost shoots himself in the foot!
soursurfer chuckles.
Gibby: "Aim... THEN shoot."
Yurie: "Now Sour, get 'em!"
Falco: "And Gibby has clearly forgotten how to use his weapon!"
soursurfer lunges at Gibby, trying to grab him and then firing at him with his Acumen Staff.
Gibby: "EEP!" *He moves out of the way.*
Metal Man (GM): *MISS.*
soursurfer turns his attention towards Digi, firing a quick jolt of electricity at him.
Digifanatic: "OWIES!"
Metal Man (GM): *HIT* BZAP. Digi: 44% Gibby: 0% Sour: 8% Yurie: 18%.
soursurfer now runs closer to Digi, faking him out with a feigned Flame Rush, and instead jumping for an Aerial Blast.
Metal Man (GM): Miss.
Digifanatic: "Wow."
Falco: "Digi is looking weak! Will someone take him down?"
Yurie: "I think you'll get a better view from ABOVE! *He dashes towards Digi, then kicks him, aiming to knock him upwards."
Digifanatic: "WHY ME???"
Gibby: "This... is not good."
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH* Digi is thrown towards a window. Digi avoids being sent through the glass.
Digifanatic: "Uh oh..."
Yurie then follows that up with a Starlight Rondo, the discus of light streaking towards Digi.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 49% Gibby: 0% Sour: 8% Yurie: 18%. El hit.
Digifanatic: "Hey, Gibby--YOWIE!"
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 59% Gibby: 0% Sour: 8% Yurie: 18%.
Gibby: "...yeah?"
Digifanatic: "I was talking to Yurie!"
Metal Man (GM): Digi avoids doom again.
Gibby: "Oh... I knew that."
Yurie then promptly kicks a vase up into the air, then SLAPS it with the flat of her blade at Digi.
Metal Man (GM): It flies past Digi and through the window. It explodes, throwing glass everywhere.
Digifanatic: "Wow..."
Gibby: "Go Digi!"
Digifanatic is frantically looking for stuff to throw but goes for the Super Mario Punch on the lemon (Sour) instead. "What's wrong with me???"
Crowd: "Booooo!!!"
Gibby: "Oh dear..."
Metal Man (GM): Incoming rocks! Luckily, they miss Digi, but the crowd does not like Digi.
Digifanatic: "This is not good..."
Gibby: "Aw come on people... he's trying."
Falco: "And now, the crowd has decided to throw rocks at Digi!"
Gibby runs towards Sour and tries to hit him with a punch to the nose.
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK.* Digi: 59% Gibby: 0% Sour: 13% Yurie: 18%.
Falco: "The huge lemon takes a fist to the face!!!"
soursurfer once again laughs at Digi's misfortune.
Falco: "And now he's... laughing?"
Gibby then follows that up with a kick.
Metal Man (GM): The crowd is now cheering somewhat. For now, Digi doesn't need to worry about bombs. *CRIT.*
Digifanatic: "Nice..."
Metal Man (GM): Soursurfer is kicked into a bookcase, which then falls with him towards Yurie. *MISS* *SMASH.*
soursurfer is reeling in pain.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 59% Gibby: 0% Sour: 28% Yurie: 18%.
Yurie acks and steps away from the bookcase... "...sheesh... you alright?"
Metal Man (GM): The crowd is now really cheering.
soursurfer: "I'm fine, this is a flesh wound."
Gibby then ends the combo with another shot.
Metal Man (GM): They're chanting "Go Gibby go!" *clap-clap-clapclapclap.*
Digifanatic: "Come on dude..."
Metal Man (GM): That shot misses.
soursurfer barely ducks out of the way.
Digifanatic: "Good run, Gibby."
Gibby: "I need to work on my aimage."
Metal Man (GM): The arena shakes and rumbles.
soursurfer: "Alright Gibby, it's ON."
Yurie: "What the..."
Gibby starts shaking.
Metal Man (GM): Several objects start falling. Two bookcases fall at Gibby!
Digifanatic: "Yikes-o-rama..."
Gibby: "EEP!"
Metal Man (GM): CRIT! *SMASH.*
soursurfer enjoys this.
Gibby is flattened.
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 59% Gibby: 20% Sour: 28% Yurie: 18%.
Gibby: "...ow..."
Deloth watches from the spectator stands.
Yurie: "Sour, use your Fire Rush to light up those book cases!"
soursurfer complies, dashing across the bookcases to set them ablaze.
Metal Man (GM): Sour sets them all on fire... Triggering the arena hazard again! Another Book case attacks Gibby!
Gibby: "HEY! What is this, a fight or a book burning?"
Metal Man (GM): And misses.
Digifanatic: "This is crazy!"
Gibby leaps back. "Stop that!"
Digifanatic: "But fun!"
Yurie: "It's the arena, what'd you expect."
Gibby: "...less book cases."
Digifanatic: "True."
soursurfer rolls to the side, stands up, and then kicks a table at Gibby with immense pace.
Metal Man (GM): The table soars over Gibby's head, into a chandelier that's above Digi.
Gibby side steps.
Metal Man (GM): The mess falls at Digi.
Digifanatic: "What the?!"
Metal Man (GM): And misses.
Digifanatic: "This is nuts. I MIGHT BE THE TARGET BUT I'M LOVING IT!"
Gibby: "You're nuts if you enjoy this!"
Yurie sighs, then dashes towards Digi. However, as she runs, she grabs the chain of the chandelier, turns, and swings the whole mess of glass and metal at him like a ball and chain!
Digifanatic: "WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Metal Man (GM): Luckily, it misses... and hits the TV behind Digi, which then falls.
Digifanatic just ducks. ...
Metal Man (GM): ...It falls on Digi and explodes.
Digifanatic: "We gotta start--OOF--using this stuff."
Gibby: -_-; "This... doesn't help us."
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 89% Gibby: 20% Sour: 28% Yurie: 18%.
Yurie: "...I didn't intend to do that, but that was cool!" *turns to the crowd and POSES.
Deloth: "Wow, too much TV is bad for your help." *health.
Metal Man (GM): Digi continues to avoid death, although he's been taking a beating. The crowd cheers, then starts booing Digi again.
Digifanatic launches another Thunderstorm at Yurie. "This better hit... WHAT THE HECK?"
Metal Man (GM): Miss. Digi blows up a table.
Yurie: "..." *steps out of the way and POSES again.*
Digifanatic: "Wooooooooow..."
Metal Man (GM): The crowd boos at Digi again, and start throwing rocks at him.
Yurie: "OLE!"
Digifanatic: "Things go boom!"
Gibby: "STOP POSING! This is a match, not a beauty pageant!"
Metal Man (GM): SMACK SMACK SMACK. Digi is beaten up by rocks from the crowd.
Digifanatic: "I'm a goner..."
Metal Man (GM): Digi: 0% D1 Gibby: 20% Sour: 28% Yurie: 18%. Digi explodes, losing a life.
Yurie: "You're alll alone now Gibster."
Gibby looks for what items are left.
Metal Man (GM): The arena items have respawned, but there is also a huge lamp.
soursurfer acts as though it was planned. "Next time Gibby... you can't hide forever."
Gibby: "Well like that song that nobody understands, you're going to be BLINDED BY THE LIGHT!" *He grabs the lamp, and throws it at Yurie.*
Yurie leaps up and over the lamp, doing a splits in mid air as it flies under her.
Metal Man (GM): It flies past Yurie into the bar, which explodes into flames. The crowd boos Gibby.
Gibby: "HEY! This is a battle, not the olympics!"
soursurfer lines up a short blast of Light energy, coming from the end of his Staff.
Metal Man (GM): It misses, breaking the window.
Yurie: "This is how you throw something." *grips the chain, then rapidly turns around, swinging the chandelier in her hands around before FLINGING it at Gibby like an olympic hammer...
Gibby ducks. "Ah yes... you threw it at a 47 degree angle... very clever."
Metal Man (GM): The thing flies into the book cases again... The bookcases do their thing of falling.
Gibby: "No... NOOO!!!"
Metal Man (GM): Ouch. FIVE bookcases fall at Soursurfer.
Gibby: "...ok... that's ok then."

soursurfer meditates for a moment before a large, dark chasm forms below Digi... a black burst of energy rushes out, solidifying into a block of ice, and freezing Digi.

soursurfer now dashes towards the hurt Digi, and then kicks him in the head, aiming at a lamp behind him.

Deloth looks for something to throw.

Metal Man (GM): Which misses and hits a wall.
Gibby ducks. "Watch it, Del. Get a hold of yourself."
Falco: "It appears Digi almost hit his teammate!"
Gibby focuses on Yurie now cause she needs to die... no offense. He runs at her, and tries a right hook to the face.

Gibby then goes for a left hook.

Gibby leaps back.
soursurfer 's eyes light up, a fierce energy behind them after the previous combo, he first starts with a vicious punch to Digi's head.

soursurfer then launches a blast of electrical energy... at a chair in front of Digi, trying to deflect it into him.

Yurie grrs, then dashes at Gibby and slashes her sword upwards, trying to launch Gibby.

Digifanatic kicks the telly at Yurie.
Metal Man (GM): Bad move... Digi gets his foot stuck in the television.
Digifanatic: "YOWCH!"
Crowd: "BOOOO!!!!"
Gibby: "This is like watching a comedy act... let me show you how it's done." *He rubs his hands together, walks up to another TV, acts all body builder-like, and lifts it up with his strength.*
Metal Man (GM): Gibby picks it up... but can't throw it yet.
Gibby: "Just wait until I toss THIS baby... then you'll be sorry!"
Yurie: "Sour, nail Digi. I've got Gibby."
soursurfer lines up the shot, then takes a simple crack at the TV with another jolt of electricity.

Metal Man (GM): Digi's TV explodes.
Digifanatic: "YOWIEIEIEIEI!"
Metal Man (GM): Insta-kill, since that TV is right next to the boundary of the arena. Digi: 0% D2 Gibby: 23% D1 Sour: 10% D1 Yurie: 33%.
soursurfer turns towards Gibby, igniting himself on fire and running him over.
Metal Man (GM): Sour hits... *KABOOOOOOM.*
Gibby: NOOO!!!!

Metal Man (GM): Gibby and Sour simultaneously explode, and both of them take damage.
Yurie: "...okay..."

Yurie then follows up by Grabbing Gibby with Interposition, then slash-flings him at the burning bar.

Falco: "After killing several more TVs, it appears team Gibby is STILL losing!"

Digifanatic: "Well, this oughta be fun to watch."
Falco: "Now... GET READY TO SMASH! 3... 2..."
Yurie draws her sword.
Falco: "...1... GOOOO!!!"
Metal Man: "AIIIII!!!! CHARRRRRRGEEE!!!" *He runs at Yurie with his seemingly harmless baton.*
Gibby sits, and watches.
Yurie: "Uh oh..." *is whacked.*

Metal Man continues the combo with a lightning fast grab. He grabs a cup and breaks it in anger.
Yurie: "Ugh..." *holds her head, stunned slightly, then growls, rushing at Metal and swinging her sword.*
Falco: "Now, this arena, unlike the other one, is full of EVEN MORE objects!"
Metal Man dodges the attack, smirking. Then he runs at Yurie with the baton yet again.

Yurie manages to step out of the way, then step up to Metal, the blade slicing out once more.
Falco: "Also, if a window is broken, both fighters are sucked outside, where they must contend with meteorites!"

Yurie shakes her head, then follows up by picking up one of the tables and booting it at him.

Metal Man (GM): The Arena is full of tables and chairs and books, but not bookcases like the other one.
Metal Man takes the baton... and with a crazy look on his face... he runs BACKWARDS towards Yurie.
Yurie: "The heck..." *He ducks under the Baton swing.*
Metal Man flies past, sending tables and stuff flying around.

Yurie shakes her head, her brain finally clearing out. She grins, then blazes towards metal quite rapidly, then swings her sword at him.
Metal Man (GM): *HIT.* Metal: 26%, Yurie: 22%.
Metal Man: "Ow."
Yurie follows this up buy stepping right into Metal's face and letting fly with a very rapid Slice and Dice. (Very Fast)
Metal Man (GM): One hit, Crit. Metal: 52%, Yurie: 22%.
Metal Man: "That's it... take this! HYAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" *He leaps up into the air, and then flies at Yurie with his foot.*
Metal Man (GM): *KICK*
Yurie is SMACKED.
Metal Man then tries to hit Yurie with the baton. He misses, bashing a table in.
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 52%, Yurie: 32%.
Yurie steps away from the Baton, then retaliates by crouching, then leaping upwards, trying to blast him with HEADWIND. CRIT!
Metal Man is hit again.
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 82%, Yurie: 32%. *POOM.*
Yurie: *POSE!*
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 0% D1, Yurie: 32%. The crowd cheers.
Metal Man reappears. "CURSE YOU! TAKE THIS!!!!"
Yurie finishes her pose and turns back to Metal.
Metal Man runs at Yurie, arms flailing.
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK*
Digifanatic: (chomping on popcorn) "Wow... that's pretty good."
Yurie flies away...
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 0% D1, Yurie: 54%.
Gibby: "YAY YURIE!"
Yurie then seems to catch herself, kicking off the ceiling and hurtling right back at him.
Metal Man (GM): Well, Yurie prevents herself from being thrown out, but then Metal kicks a table at her.
Yurie: *smack!*
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* Metal: 0% D1, Yurie: 64%.
Yurie catches herself yet AGAIN.
Metal Man, angry, punches a chair at Yurie.
Metal Man (GM): *Miss... barely. It breaks against a wall.*
Digifanatic: "Popcorn, Gibby?"
Yurie rolls out of the way, still propelling herself at metal before driving a kick right into his face.
Gibby: "Indeed..." *He grabs a handful, and shoves it down his mouth.*
Metal Man is hit.
Digifanatic hands Gibby a soda cup..
Gibby takes it, and drinks from it.
Digifanatic: "I bought enough for everyone, but nobody's here but us... it's sad."
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 5% D1, Yurie: 64%.
Gibby: "More for us then."
Yurie lands smoothly, then poses for the roaring crowd.
Metal Man attacks with another bizarre baton attack, this time cartwheeling at Yurie.
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK*
Yurie: "...huh??" *SMACK.*
Metal Man (GM): Yurie continues to avoid being blasted out. Metal then tries to smack Yurie with it again, in a different way. *SMACK.*
Yurie: *HIT!*
Metal Man (GM): Yurie is dazed again.
Yurie: *MEGA RUSH ACTIVATED.*
Metal Man (GM): Metal continues by hurling a table at Yurie. And misses. The station shakes... 4 meteorites fly at Metal. 2 hits. Metal: 15% D1, Yurie: 76%.
Yurie lands, rubbing her head... ugh... owch... she reaches into her jacket and pulls out a blue Maxshroom, then consumes it. FULL HP!
Metal Man: "...D'oh!"
Yurie: "Yes indeed, d'oh." ^.^
Metal Man: "Alright... no more Mr. Nice guy..." *He runs at Yurie with that nasty Baton yet again.*
Metal Man (GM): *WHIFF.* He misses, slicing a table in two.
Yurie steps out of the way of the rush, then retaliates with a sword slash. ...and misses.
Metal Man dodges that, and then attacks with the baton yet again, this time trying to hit Yurie with it like it's a basketball. He bashes another table open.
Yurie ducks under again...
Crowd: "Booooo!!!"
Yurie then retaliates by trying to Kick Metal in the bum.
Metal Man is kicked.
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 20% D1, Yurie: 76%.
Yurie follows the kick by climbing up Metals back, then hopping up and slashing downwards with her sword.
Metal Man is hit yet again.
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 33% D1, Yurie: 0%.
Metal Man: "This can't be... I defeated Gibby!"
Yurie: "Oh hush..." *He finishes her combo by trying to GRAB Metal.*
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Yurie: *RAPID SHAKING!*
Metal Man (GM): He drops... one coin. Man, he's poor!
Gibby: "Wait... I don't remember that."
Yurie finishes by throwing him aside.
Metal Man: "Now then... it's time to stop going easy on you... Pretty Lucky! Activate!" *He is surrounded by a strange aura that makes it harder to hit him at times.* "And now... Turbo Table Attack!"
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 43% D1, Yurie: 0%.
Metal Man kicks a table, which hits another table, which both fly at Yurie.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH*
Yurie is KAPOWIED.
Metal Man then picks up a stack of dishes and starts throwing them at Yurie.
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* *MISS MISS.* Metal: 43% D1, Yurie: 15%.
Yurie: "You know... that's really starting to irritate me..."
Metal Man: "It's only begun!"
Yurie blazes towards Metal again, then rush-kicks him.
Metal Man (GM): Hit.
Yurie knocks Metal backwards into the bar, then follows up with a Starlight Rondo blast.
Metal Man (GM): Hit. Metal: 58% D1, Yurie: 15%. Metal avoids flying out the window.
Yurie then finishes the string by leaping into the air and coming down, hard, on him with her sword, which is followed by two more, phantom blades (aerial version of Slice and Dice) *CRIT!*
Metal Man (GM): Only the crit hits. Metal: 84% D1, Yurie: 15%. Metal just -barely- avoids flying out.
Metal Man: "And now... Turbo Table Redux!" *He throws the tables again.*
Yurie: *MEGA CLOBBER.*
Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* Metal: 84% D1, Yurie: 35%.
Metal Man then follows up with... BOOT TO THE HEAD!
Metal Man (GM): *BOOT.*
Yurie: "Gah!"
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 84% D1, Yurie: 45%.
Metal Man then finishes off with the olde Baton smack. He misses, again.
Yurie steps away from de stick, then retaliates with de SWORD. CRIT!
Metal Man (GM): It hits. *POOM.*
Yurie then POSES.
Metal Man reappears... now he's looking angry.
Yurie: "I love you all!" *blows kisses.*
Gibby: "She kissed me!" *He faints.*
Metal Man: "Arrrrrgh! I WON'T LOSE!!!!!" *He glows red.*
Yurie: <.<
Gibby: @_@ "My life is complete."
Yurie: "...uh oh... this isn't good..."
Metal Man grows about 5-feet taller, complete with spikes and fists the size of bowling balls.
Yurie: "...meep..."
Trance Metal Man: "SMASH! DESTROY! BLUDGEON! SWIZZLER STICK!"
Metal Man (GM): The crowd gasps, but continues cheering Yurie.
Trance Metal Man runs to Yurie, and then tries to bash her into the ground wildly.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH SMASH SMASH.* Metal: 0% D2, Yurie: 75%.
Yurie: "GAAAAAAAAAAAAH."
Metal Man (GM): Yurie manages to avoid being flung out.
Yurie: "You can trance all you like, but there's no way you'll defeat me! HERE I COME!" *He drops down like a swooping hawk, letting him have it with SLICE AND DICE.*
Metal Man (GM): All miss.
Trance Metal Man: "Ha ha ha ha!"
Yurie: "...oh poo..."
Trance Metal Man continues his smash-a thon, starting by smashing a table on Yurie's head.
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH*
Yurie: @.@
Metal Man (GM): Yurie avoids being flung out. Metal: 0% D2, Yurie: 90%.
Yurie: *MEGA RUSH ACTIVATED.*
Trance Metal Man then does a MEGA PUNCH at Yurie.
Yurie dodges!
Trance Metal Man gets his fist stuck in a wall.
Gibby: "This is crazy!"
Trance Metal Man: "I will destroy you, Wall!"
Yurie then retaliates with a sword slash, her body glowing bright red.
Metal Man (GM): *BARELY HIT* Yurie knocks him outta the wall, too. Metal: 26% D2, Yurie: 90%.
Yurie then begins her turn with another slash.
Metal Man (GM): *SLASH.*
Yurie then follows with a SLICE AND DICE.
Metal Man (GM): Metal: 104% D2, Yurie: 90%.
Deloth: "Ooh, that's gonna hurt. "
Yurie: "SAY GOOD BYE!"
Metal Man (GM): He hasn't budged... but is looking beaten up.
Yurie: "...wha..."
Trance Metal Man: "SMASH!" *He makes one last punch.*
Yurie: *SMACK.*
Metal Man (GM): *SMASH* He takes Yurie with him. But she only loses 1 of 3 lives, and he lost his last life. The arena itself is totally destroyed.
Yurie reappears on the arena, then poses for her adoring fans.
Gibby goes NUTS!
Deloth cheers loudly.
Gibby: "WHOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" *He does a Gibby Dance.*
Metal Man appears again, a table stuck on his head, and his eyes all @_@ like.
Gibby: "Go Yurie, Go Yurie, Go Yurie... PARTY TIME!"
Metal Man: "...I can't believe I could still trance... and then I lost..."
Deloth: "Let's party! I'll order the yard-long subs!" *He runs to the phone.*
Yurie: "Sorry Metal, but NO ONE MESSES WITH D'RAKETUER!"
Metal Man takes his head out of the table, and pushes it into the holo-oblivion below. "Eh... the problem is, I had the title so long, nobody fought me!"
Gibby throws pieces of napkin made to look like confetti out towards Yurie.
Yurie then throws her sword into the air, causing it to flip in mid air. She catches it in her sheath, then turns and blows a kiss to the crowd as her theme plays!
Deloth orders 3 yard-long subs.
Metal Man: "You more than earned it... beating two people at once... then defeating my grossly overpowered Trance form..."
Deloth: "Oh, and some chips!" *He hangs up the phone.*
Gibby: "I wanna make the party decorations!"
Metal Man (GM): Yurie gets 5000 coins.
Deloth greets the delivery guy and pays for the subs and economy bags of chips. He tosses the subs onto the kitchen counter. "COME AND GET IT!"
Gibby grabs a sub, and starts pigging out.
