Date: March 28th and 30th, 2009.

Metal Man (GM): The group was on the Moon. They had just killed Pandora. Garrick had freakishly morphed into Alex Fender after a traumatic battle with Metal Man. Alex wandered over and the group went to leave, arguing with Ael on the way. So they then eventually went to talk to Metal Man about it.

Metal Man (GM): Metal Man said that while the charges were probably blown up and/or fake not to worry. He motioned that he wasn't really the head of the team anyway and, now in his normal form, could handle himself. Indeed, that he was a lone wolf. So he made a diversion and fled.

Metal Man (GM): The group free of that, they went to upgrade their ship. Metal Man had given them coins to aid them in this endeavor. So they upgraded the ship... and I remember now I'll have to be sure to remember all the ship stats... for... They then decided to go help the Maverick Hunters stave off another attack by Mavericks.

Metal Man (GM): Vile, specifically. We return to the group as they're preparing. X is standing before the group. The Questers are in a sort of sandy area with bits o' concrete everywhere.

Deloth: *sighs.* "Digi, you know what, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Alexia's always going to be my pick after all. ...Oh. Are we ready?"

Digifanatic: "Heh... yeah, soon enough, it seems."

Kenku still has the evil grin on his face after the talk of strafing the front line.

X: "Now, of course, war is wrong but... we have no choice. They have a forward base. Now, I've gotten some enhanced intelligence, so you have a couple of options. First, do you wish to split up at all? We have looked at your ship. It doesn't take more than two people at most to fly it."

Digifanatic: "It's probably a smart idea..."

Deloth nods. "Pincer attacking would probably be a good idea."

X: "I don't have a map, but I'll give you a rough idea of what's going on."

Metal Man (GM): He points out to dead ahead, where a no man's land borders the two sides.

Andrew gives X his attention.

Metal Man (GM): Just after that is barbed wire and trenches and distant tents.

X: "That's the Maverick side. The main part that's gonna try to charge at us soon. Behind them..." He motions to a hastily built, leaning building a bit in the distance. "That is our main problem."

Aribar: "What is it?"

X: "It's a Maverick Forward base. They pump out attack mechaniloids like nobody's business."

Deloth: "Can the ship snipe it down?"

X: "An entire building??? No. The problem is the building can repair itself and summon any number of mechaniloids to attack in the air."

Deloth: "...knew we should've gotten bombs on this thing..."

Kenku: "It's probably best to use the ship as a distraction if we can come to think of it, and slow the front line at the same time."

X: "Well... it's questionable if any traditional ship to building attacks would work. Now, we have a rough battle plan. Our forces will charge first to the current wave of Mechaniloids. Your ship will fly over them and attack the headquarters from behind. As I've said before, we lack teleporters and ships, so this will be unexpected on our part. The factory will be busy producing machines. Now I need to ask this now. Are any of you adept at sneaking? At all?"

Kenku: "I see... is there a low resistance path through?"

X: "It would be much easier if you snuck in and shut it down. This IS the low resistance path."

Deloth: "I can disguise myself, but I'm rather bad at stealth."

X: "No other one but from behind. The only people they expect to come from behind are other Mavericks."

Kenku: "Oh... oh... Ok."

X: "Okay... how about... how fast can you run? If you just run through from nowhere while the ship creates a distraction they shouldn't be able to stop you."

Aribar: "My attire and my fighting style blow away whatever talent I have at stealth, and I'm not a very fast runner either."

Deloth: "I'm a bit better at running. And like I said, I can get a disguise of somebody if needed."

X: "Hm. And... who will be the pilot? And the backup pilot?"

Dragoshi: "I'm terrible at stealth." :/

Andrew: "I could possibly be a back-up pilot, I have a rough idea of some of the controls, I think."

Kenku: "I'm guessing Digi is the Main, and I'm the second."

X: "Okay. So you can't run very fast... and you can't hide..."

Dragoshi: "...actually, maybe..."

X: "...Can you just blow everything up in front of you then? Otherwise I'm confused as to how you function as a group."

Deloth: "THAT'S where we shine."

Dragoshi: "I might be underestimating my stealth ability." >_>

Aribar: "Sadly, that is our usual tactic. However..."

Dragoshi: "Though, yeah. That's where we excel."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, there ya go."

Aribar: "... I do have a spell that can teleport a small group to an alternate Plane. I'm not sure if something like an alternate version of the base would be in an alternate plane for us to sneak around in, though."

X: "I'm asking because where you... ???" He looks at Aribar. "..."

Metal Man (GM): He smirks.

X: "I know just where you need to go then. The Cyber World."

Digifanatic: "Wait, wait, wait..."

Deloth: "The... what?"

Digifanatic: *walks up to X a little bit.*

Aribar listens to X's plan, glad that the spell will be useful for once.*

Digifanatic: "If this is what I think it is, I'm better off aiding Aribar while Andrew and Kenku take the ship."

X: "It's a green tinted world. Normally only machines can go there. It's devoid of enemies and they would -never- expect people to warp into it directly."

Andrew: "Wait, as inside the computer networked systems across the world?"

Dragoshi: "This shall be... very interesting, then."

X: "Perhaps in a better world, yes. This would be a local manifestation of it, relevant to the Maverick computers."

Kenku: "You sure Digi... I mean... we could really use your skill in the pilots seat."

Digifanatic: "Well, it's not quite what I thought it was."

Dragoshi: "Yeah..."

Digifanatic: "Yeah. This is a tough decision, maybe the ship is better for me."

Andrew: "Then there will be enemies there then, at least mindless firewalls and safeguards."

Digifanatic: "X, may I speak to you after the battle about this?"

X: "You'll have to get nearby and warp inside. Then once inside you can go in and take over directly."

Deloth: "Sounds good."

X: "If it's that important, just ask me now. We might not see eachother again."

Aribar: "Could we use the base to produce units to fight the Mavericks?"

Digifanatic: "No, I'd rather take my chances and hold off."

Deloth: "...Are you sure, Digi?"

X: "The reason I would rather know now is... you appear to know something about this digital world. And knowledge about it is very scarce. IF you know anything of use it could be the difference between victory and defeat."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, but what you're telling me is a lot different from anything I'm familiar with. In terms of scale and what's inside of it."

Deloth: "I think what he's talking about is more like a worldwide network, from what he told me."

X: "Hm, well..." He shrugs. "There is no worldwide network here. So get inside the network here and modify the program as best you can."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, what I'm more familiar with is kind of like a network slash virtual reality realm."

X: "If you are exceptional, yes. You will convert it to aid us. But don't expect that success. The virus dominated world will be a bit... tricky."

Digifanatic: "Well, like I said, we have Andrew and Kenku to aid with the ship. Hopefully they'll do alright. With the computer bit, I don't want to be egotistical but I'm probably a bit better off in the situation than Andrew."

X: "All right, ball's in your court. We have to move out. Good luck... sorry we don't have the weapons to sell to you yet. We have to use them right now."

Metal Man (GM): He runs off.

Andrew: "... Well, I hope so~"

Kenku: "Alright then. Andrew, your in pilot seat. I'll take guns." and runs back to the ship.

Deloth claps. "Alright, people, let's get this show on the road."

Digifanatic: *flexes his hands a little bit.*

Aribar: "Good luck, everyone."

Andrew gets on ze ship.

Kenku steps in and gets weapons systems running.

Aribar heads to the ship.

Deloth hops onto the ship and gets into his usual seat.

Dragoshi: *Gets on ze sheep.*

Digifanatic: .oO(Okay... green tints and devoid of enemies, definitely not what I know, but hopefully the significant differences end there.)

Metal Man (GM): The ship has four guns now. The new computer groups potential targets in a section of the screen. The user just has to point at them or click the associated number and the ship handles the rest.

Andrew: .oO(Hope he knows some raw processing and not just the visual interface.)

Metal Man (GM): There's also a handy power bar to the right. The turrets can be focused OR spread. The user has to just highlight 'em appropriately.

Deloth: "Pretty spiffy new system."

Metal Man (GM): Digi sets the ship to take off, and soon it is in the air.

X: *Comms.* "We're beginning our move. You'll have about five minutes before they begin prepping anti-air. Stay prepared. X out."

Deloth: "Ari, you ready?"

Metal Man (GM): The compound is clearly ahead. It has a massive, hideous Maverick symbol flag atop it. There's some worrisome anti-air guns. But apparently they didn't expect invaders, so nobody's at them. And they aren't activated.

Aribar: "As ready as I'll hopefully ever be."

Digifanatic: *Moves ahead towards the tower.*

Metal Man (GM): Explosions occur below. Several Mavericks and Mechaniloids clash with what was, to them, an unexpected attack by the Maverick Hunters. The shield indicator blinks and the Questers hear a few sputtering noises. Someone with a weak pistol or rifle tried to hit the ship and succeeded, but it was too weak to pierce the shield.

Deloth: "Uh-oh."

Metal Man (GM): All systems appear to be go.

Digifanatic: *Turns around to go to the back of the three story towerlet.*

Metal Man (GM): The ship arrives back there. NOW the fun part begins!

Andrew: "Oh dear."

Metal Man (GM): As the ship blurs past the tower, frantic Mavericks are running to anti-air guns which can't even hit the ship once it is behind the tower. The ship is in range to do the dimensional plane thing. Of course, Aribar isn't a pro at technology... but he'll just have to try to Plane it in with brute force alone.

Deloth: "Don't choke."

Andrew: "You can do it, I know you can!"

Kenku starts checking up on potential targets as he prepares for them disappear.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar creates a massive green sphere.

Andrew: "If not I can always use Hidden fi-- Woah~"

Metal Man (GM): Kenku finds a couple, but they're out of range. People who are going to the Digital World--enter now.

Digifanatic: *CyberDigitalWhatever.*

Deloth: *Digital-wigital fun!*

Digifanatic: *Unless it's better off he aids the computer systems in the organic plane.*

Dragoshi: *Into the sphere of jello we gooooooo...!*

Aribar: *Aribar.exe, jack in!*

Andrew: "I wanna go, but I have to stay... If only I could make this sphere bigger, big enough to cover the ship..."

Kenku: "No Andrew, we're needed out here!"

Andrew: "I know that Kenku. Only wishing~"

Metal Man (GM): Everyone but Kenku and Andrew enters the sphere. I'll split this up into two sides and alternate for best results. As usual, largest group of people begins first. THE DIGITAL WORLD. GM_Link would be horrified! Questers in the--... no, wrong world. The Questers appear in a relatively mundane place. It's just a green tinted version of the towerlet. It looks strangely empty.

Deloth: "...Well, this is less exciting than I expected."

Metal Man (GM): There are various little programs, running the various parts of the base.

Digifanatic: "It may get better."

Metal Man (GM): It is possible to reach out and TOUCH Them.

Deloth does not.

Metal Man (GM): Of course. Touching the may be bad, as they have little wires running out of them. The wires lead to a giant wire, which then proceeds behind a door made of red energy.

Digifanatic: *despite his decent knowledge, he doesn't touch much, only taking a look at the programs.* *also notes the BIG RED DOOR.*

Aribar looks about the area. He should be concentrating on the mission, but all he can think of is what Ael would do if he was trapped there.

Metal Man (GM): From what Aribar has seen, he'd reason Ael can simply warp through worlds at will. And, oddly, he would feel his magic still functions here. It, like all of the Questers here, however, has been converted to program data. The red door stands in the way of any real progress. All that is visible out here are boring things like COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVER and EMERGENCY ALARM.

Deloth: "So how do we get THAT open?"

Digifanatic: *Looks for doorknobs*

Metal Man (GM): No. It's a red door... almost like a red slate.

Digifanatic: "Hang on..." *looks for something like a scanner or the like.*

Aribar: "We could attempt to open it." *The mage would go up to the door and examine it.*

Metal Man (GM): A scanner... hm! This world is a great place to be for computer hackers.

Andrew: .oO(;_;)

Metal Man (GM): It's what Digi would probably call a firewall. An attempt is made by the Questers to break the door.

Editor's Note: Why in the world did whoever do that use OOC text to do their action?

Metal Man (GM): The door cracks but it does not break. The area begins to turn orange. That must have begun to set off an alarm. Try again... the Questers may wish to hurry, the observation sensors indicate they been detected.

Deloth: "Uh-oh. Again."

Aribar: "Digi, I suggest you do that again. Preferably without failing!"

Metal Man (GM): Deloth whiffs the air.

Dragoshi: *Attempts to destroy the firewall with his bread.*

Metal Man (GM): The door cracks and shatters, but the place is on full alert. The Questers are in the next part of the 1st floor.

Digifanatic: *books it through the door.*

Metal Man (GM): Hm... there's a power generating program.

Aribar: "Beautiful start!" *The half-elf heads through the door.*

Metal Man (GM): As tempting as it may seem, crashing that could do horrible things to whoever tries it. Digi finds the next thing to break through to progress. It's a yellow door. Which is higher class... it goes to the next floor... and is a password device. It has a TON of wires stuck to it.

Digifanatic: *Thinks about whether he can he just scan his Digivice to see if it'll work. Maybe it'll recognize something less hacker-ish about the party.*

Aribar: "I've got to wonder what overloading those wires would do to the door..."

Metal Man (GM): Digivice can't do anything here any more than it could otherwise, unfortunately. Think of different OSes.

Deloth: "Digi... hurry up, man..."

Digifanatic: "Well, this one's a lot different to me!"

Metal Man (GM): Some programs are loading behind the Questers. Not good. For all Digi knows, there's that password wall and... Maverick icons forming behind everyone...

Aribar decides to try something that may harm them more than help; he zaps the wires with three blasts of White Lightning!*

Metal Man (GM): BZKZBTZKTBZKT The panel begins phasing in and out of existence rapidly. The digital world does not know how to defend against sentient programs very well! The Maverick icons form! The panel is the door.

Aribar studies the door for a moment before leaping through when it is phased out of existence.

Metal Man (GM): The Maverick icons are a bit too late as Aribar leaps through the door as it breaks utterly. Digi and Del follow him.

Dragoshi: *Quickly runs through ze door.*

Metal Man (GM): The group makes it up to the next level aaand... *Switches groups.* REAL WORLD. Kenku and Andrew are at the controls. They get a comms message.

Andrew: "Sigh."

Kenku listens for the message.

X: *Comms.* "All right, your people are in. Now turn around and give us some air support... they're defending too well! X out."

Kenku: "Roger, lets move Andrew!"

Andrew: "Yeah."

Metal Man (GM): The ship GUI shows it has several potential targets over the battle lines. But additionally the anti-air guns are powering up.

Andrew: "First things first, fly up a bit higher then off to give them support."

Kenku sets up to see what single turrets can do first, targeting 4 separate targets.

Andrew: "Ready Kenku?"

Kenku: "Ready when you are!"

Andrew goes for the random popping out of the clouds/sky then attacking then going back up maneuver.

Metal Man (GM): A good choice.

Kenku loads two rounds into the Maverick.

Metal Man (GM): There's multiple Mavericks, about 3 of them. Kenku however obliterates one with his combined assault. Andrew barely scratches an Anti-air cannon. The ship manuever makes it difficult for them to fire. Only one of them gets a bead. It fires at the ship. The pilots curve the ship wildly and shields take a 10% hit as the ship reaches the sky again.

X: *Comms.* "Good one... keep 'em coming!"

Andrew: "Bah!"

Metal Man (GM): As the two pilots most likely prepare to dive again...

Andrew: "Again!"

Metal Man (GM): We flip back to the group in the tower. DIGITAL WORLD! The group appears on the second level. And are greeted by five men in green armor. Robot viruses. They each have a ball and chain and whirl them menacingly. The group's digital senses show they aren't tough--but they're in the way! DIGITAL BATTLE! The mooks all spin their annoying maces. They just attack as a giant area of effect annoyingness, to save us all time.

Dragoshi: *Jumps over it all.* :x

Aribar tries to digitally dive out of the way!

Deloth: *thud.*

Digifanatic: *meh.*

Deloth: *blandly.* "Ow."

Digifanatic goes to slam Mook #1 with a pair of Fire Punches... cause their accuracy is better.

Metal Man (GM): Mook #1 spontaneously implodes.

Deloth: "...Wow. Nice shot."

Digifanatic: "Good timing."

Dragoshi: "...nice one."

Deloth jumps at Mook #2 with his usual one-two sword attack.

Metal Man (GM): Mook #2 implodes.

Deloth: "...Dang."

Dragoshi: *Goes to hurl kamas at Mook 3.*

Metal Man (GM): Hit. No implosion. It's not dead either...

Aribar decides that electricity is always good against mechanical and technological enemies! Three bolts of lightning leap from the tips of Aribar's fingers and fly towards the third Mook!

Metal Man (GM): Third mook down. Mooks. Two remaining. They weakly flail about. ... THEY IMPLODE.

Dragoshi: "...let's just move on."

Digifanatic: "Right."

Aribar: "Guys, let's get out of here. I feel like I'm going to implode just through proximity."

Digifanatic: *forward, march.*

Dragoshi: *Moving on...*

Metal Man (GM): Now... it is possible to search out this room.

Deloth just heads on. Boy, that was anticlimactic.

Metal Man (GM): Deloth opens up a Minesweeper window. Aribar opens up Solitaire.

Aribar: *Starts playing.*

Deloth just backs away from the mines. Slowly.

Metal Man (GM): Anyway... Digi and Dragoshi find the interesting stuff. Between the two of them, they discover the program controlling the security.

Digifanatic: "Okay, now..." *takes a look at the controls. Obviously, he doesn't want everything to open lest all the viruses come flooding in, but it would be helpful to have some doors ahead of them taken care of.*

Metal Man (GM): Digi sees a wide panel. It has three major doors. One is to the outside. Another inside. And... None of the real world doors are very good anyway. Digi sees the control system for the main order protocol. It has one heck of a virus controlling it. But... it is risky but possible to try to simply disconnect it.

Digifanatic: "Okay, decision here... I say try to take down the virus."

Dragoshi: "That sounds like a good idea..."

Metal Man (GM): It is possible to either fight the virus or disconnect it.

Deloth: "Well, you're the computer expert here, so I trust your decision."

Aribar: "It sounds like a good idea to take down the virus."

Digifanatic wishes he knew what the virus looked like before making the decision.

Metal Man (GM): The Virus looks like Zero. It has a suspicious W emblem in its hilt.

Digifanatic: "The W looks like Wily... I think fight it."

Deloth: "Fight."

Digifanatic: "If we cut off its communication, it can fix it later while we're off in some other area and/or realm."

Aribar unsheathes Sunlight. "I have a feeling that it would be a tough fight."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, but we've had tough fights before, of course."

Deloth: "It's ALWAYS a tough fight, Ari."

Metal Man (GM): To fight it, it is possible to simply walk into the control panel and reach it.

Digifanatic: "Anything to keep him away."

Metal Man (GM): To disconnect it, Digi would simply need to press a button.

Digifanatic: "Or we could disconnect him and then fight him to make sure he doesn't get it back."

Metal Man (GM): It would be possible to find the home node and fight it after it is disconnected too.

Digifanatic takes the safe play for now and hits the button.

Metal Man (GM): It is disconnected... BEEP BEEP BEEP. REAL WORLD. Andre and Kenku are moving in for another attack!

Kenku: "Andrew, target the Mavs, we should be ok with how you're flying." *fires on the next mav.*

Metal Man (GM): Kenku blasts up a Maverick. The Mavericks are blown up. The Anti-air cannons are now a bit more coordinated... *BAM* only a small hit. The ship is at a whopping 85% shield. However, the factory launches flying robots! ... They immediately crash into the ground. That's for the glitch.

X: *Comms.* "They're retreating. You just killed two of their commanders!"

Andrew: "Hehe, Nice work Kenku."

X: *Comms.* "Something weird happened too. There isn't any movement from the Mechaniloids..."

Kenku: "Thanks" *into comm.* "Interesting... you want us to try to raze the building?"

X: *Comms.* "Your friends are probably still in there. I don't think that'd be good for them."

Kenku: "I see."

X: *Comms.* "Float down and take out all the defenses. They can't fire anymore."

Metal Man (GM): It has been a cakewalk so far. A suspicious cakewalk.

Kenku giggles "Roger! Andrew gimme a strafe on the air guns!"

Metal Man (GM): Filled with DONUTS OF TREACHERY. The ship is on its way down. The air guns... they do not fire back. There's only four of them. With any success at all it is possible to probably wipe them out.

Andrew: "Heh, Let's go Kenku?"

Metal Man (GM): Kenku spins the guns menacingly. No lasers are fired.

Kenku grumbles and retargets.

Metal Man (GM): Air guns become nerfed guns. No more guns, as the remaining Maverick runs away screaming from the carnage and overrunning Maverick Hunters. Now... for the stunning conclusion of... THE DIGITAL WORLD. With the virus disconnected, the group can basically just walk over to it. It's a little walk across a long, skinny corridor. Of course... There's a door shut in the middle of it. It's a special door though, which is green... showing it is possible to pass.

Digifanatic: *walks through.*

Julian: *And hey Julian shows up with the main party now! How? Ask your mother. He jogs over to the group, equipment bag slung over his shoulder.* "Yoyoyoyo, the HNIC is on the field. The fuck is this shit?" *Gestures to his surroundings and the virus.*

Deloth heads through.

Dragoshi: *Through the special door we go!*

Deloth: "Digital world. Follow."

Julian: *Through the door!*

Aribar: */follow.exe.*

Metal Man (GM): Long walk... long walk... the Questers walk through the door and soon enter a weirder room. It's a round room. The background is all fuzzy. The controller virus has been patiently waiting. It looks like Zero. In fact, it stands up and speaks like him.

Deloth: *swords out.*

Zero?: "..."

Metal Man (GM): It stands up, glitching in and out.

Dragoshi: "..." *Ellipses fight!*

Aribar: "Greetings."

Zero?: "Identify yourselves."

Julian: "Why should I?"

Metal Man (GM): It takes out a green saber and stands up, pulsating strangely.

Zero?: "Depending on who you are we may not be enemies like you would think."

Digifanatic: "Oh?"

Deloth: "Ha ha ha. Yeah, no."

Zero?: "My creator stranded me and I was revived by a bald-headed moron."

Aribar: "Vile?"

Digifanatic: "Wily?"

Julian: "Wily?"

Zero?: "You know of Wily." He stands up, smirking oddly.

Julian: "I know OF him. Don't know the sucka personally."

Zero?: "That is too bad. I was created to be The God of Destruction, you see. The world already destroyed, I was then to revive my master. But... his body is nowhere to be found."

Deloth: "C'mon, guys, let's kill."

Julian: "Ain't that nice. I doubt you're gonna find 'em."

Dragoshi: "Yeah..."

Zero?: "I have another proposition..."

Dragoshi: "...and that is?"

Zero?: "You knew of Dr. Wily. You are here in data form."

Metal Man (GM): He holds a hand out at the Questers.

Zero?: "I will give you one favor if you let me read your minds about him. ONE."

Julian: "What kinda favor are we talkin' about?"

Aribar: "How do we have your guarantee that you won't do anything else to us?"

Digifanatic: "Hmmm... they have a point."

Zero?: "I exercise control over all Maverick forces. The Maverick Virus has been destroyed. I, the Zero Virus, reign supreme. It is in my interest to proceed to phase II. As you have seen, most of this pathetic continent has been destroyed."

Deloth: "Can you stop these armies and leave this place in peace?"

Zero?: "Yes. For the favor. I simply need be read your mind. I will not tamper with it. Tampering would in fact damage the very information I wish to see."

Julian: "Mhm. And what're you gonna do after that? I wanna know what Phase II is 'fore I agree to this. Anythin' that seems too good to be true probly is."

Digifanatic: "Yeah."

Zero?: "Phase II? Vile is phased out. We focus on rebuilding over the destruction."

Aribar: "Aye. ... This actually seems like a good deal."

Digifanatic: .oO(But would he actually do it?)

Dragoshi: "Sounds nice."

Julian: "And then... What? World domination?"

Zero?: "The Maverick Hunters are stuck to only a few spits of land. What reason is there to continue attacking them when they number under one hundred? I am aware of the status of this continent. This continent is not the same place as the entire world. And all I want is this continent. The part of it I already have will suffice."

Digifanatic: "Well, here we are folks, in the middle of one of 'those' decisions again."

Deloth: *groans and facepalms.*

Julian: "What're you plannin' to do with the Maverick Hunters after you take over the rest?"

Zero?: "I was in phase I until you came here. Phase I was to destroy everything until a potential Wily information source came to me."

Digifanatic: "Okay then."

Julian: "I'm not hearin' an answer."

Zero?: "I was going to destroy them. But now that is unnecessary."

Digifanatic: "I don't mind. If it seems as if he's actually rational in his thinking, then this isn't that bad a situation."

Julian: *Taking this all in, Julian rubs his chin...* "Hmmm... A'ight, Quester Huddle." *Huddle up!*

Digifanatic: *walks over.*

Deloth: *huddle.* *w* "I think we may be able to pull this off. All our info's outdated."

Digifanatic: *w* "And out-dimensioned."

Julian: *w* "An' it don't sound like he's plottin' anything we couldn't take care of."

Digifanatic: *w* "Like I said, he doesn't seem to be thinking like your typical irrational loony we face."

Aribar: "Unless everything he has said is a lie, I believe that this would be a very good deal."

Dragoshi: *w* "That it would."

Deloth: *w* "I say we do it."

Julian: *w* "An' I'm for it too. An' if this backfires, we jus' come in an' wreck his ass. All in favor?"

Digifanatic: "Aye."

Deloth: "Yeah."

Aribar: "Let's go for it."

Julian: *and we'll assume Dragoshi agreed too.* "Solid." *Break! Julian walks back over to Zero?.* "You got yo'self a a deal."

Zero?: "Very well."

Metal Man (GM): He sweeps his hands, scanning all of the Questers. Then it stops and he thinks.

Zero?: "... Well played... it is all data from another world. ...But my deal stands. You may leave. I shall withdraw the Mavericks."

Metal Man (GM): He smirks oddly.

Deloth: "For good?"

Julian: "You do that."

Zero?: "Of course. I must use them to rebuild."

Digifanatic: "So be it..."

Deloth: "...Deal."

Julian: "A'ight, we're done here, let's get the fuck out. Anythin' else you wanna tell us, Virusman?"

Zero?: "Dr. Wily was an idiot in your world."

Metal Man (GM): He phases out entirely.

Deloth: "Not our fault he was... C'mon, let's get out of here before this place crashes or something."

Digifanatic: "So, head out of here, correct? Yeah..." *looks for an exit.*

Julian: *Exit!*

Metal Man (GM): The way back is just fine.

Aribar: "Hm. We managed to get out of here far too easily..." *Exit as well.*

Julian: *That works.*

Digifanatic: *Out!*

Deloth starts heading back and out.

Metal Man (GM): The Questers will probably want to leave the network. It's entirely dead.

Julian: *Sure.*

Metal Man (GM): REUNION. The ship is landed. You're all out. The mission is pretty much AAA'd, as the robots are gone and Maverick Hunters shoot down the hideous flag.

X: "Hm... they're all gone... good work, Questers."

Digifanatic: "Ah, thanks..."

Julian: "Ain't nothin' to it."

Dragoshi: "No problem. It went rather smoothly, in all honesty. ...so smoothly that the enemies imploded in on themselves, even."

Julian: "The Mavs shouldn't be botherin' you any time soon... or, ever, in fact."

X: "Rather than give you useless coinage, once we have the armory back up we'll give you some weapon upgrades if you choose. It'll be a bit longer, so hang tight. How did you... convince them to leave anyway?"

Digifanatic: "Does that include the ship?"

X: "No. Not the ship. We don't have ship parts."

Digifanatic: "Ahh."

Aribar: "We encountered a virus in the Digital World."

Julian: "Exchangin' useless info fo' peace."

Dragoshi: "Yep."

Digifanatic: "Yes... Zero, as a matter of fact."

Kenku: "That sounds like a good idea. Don't worry too much about the ship Digi, a little dent removal and we should be good."

Aribar: "It looked like a replica of Zero and wanted information on Dr. Wily."

Digifanatic: "I'm not. You guys did well, it seems."

X: "..."

Metal Man (GM): His eyes narrow.

Kenku: "Thanks."

X: "Dr. Wily?!?! What... did you have any information?"

Digifanatic: "Yes."

Deloth: "We gave him fake info."

Aribar: "It scanned our minds for information and only found data from our previous world. He still decided to honor the deal we made; a favor for the data."

Julian: "Nothin' that was worth anythin' to him."

Digifanatic: "Yeah."

X: "See... Dr. Wily originated this whole mess. If he got anything, even something that would jog his memory..."

Metal Man (GM): He makes a gesture as if to mean the entire continent...

X: "He could move to recreate Dr. Wily's methods, which would put his side light years ahead of us. Although you say it is fake. That gives us time. I don't think he'll have much use out of fake information... unless it includes a lot of Wily in it. Tell me... did you ever see Zero in your realm?"

Digifanatic: "I believe so."

Julian: "Once or twice, yeah."

X: "What capabilities did Wily have in your realm? See, it is obvious the Zero virus here isn't complete. We've had reports of inexplicable shutdowns of attacks before... and this is one of them."

Andrew just stands off to the site, jotting a few notes down...

X: "But if he saw anything particularly useful it might lead him on the track to rebuild those capabilities. A rebuilt Zero virus would be virtually unstoppable."

Julian: "Like... nothin'. He built robots, we knocked 'em down, that was about it."

Deloth: "And then we blew him up."

Digifanatic: "Yeah."

Aribar: "I honestly can't recall Dr. Wily very well. He wasn't often a threat. Dr. Robotnik and others were more serious problems than he was."

X: "Well then... rest here, Questers, and we shall upgrade your antiquated weapons in a bit."

Aribar would now be going around the Maverick Hunter HQ turning lights on via Activate.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar activates lights everywhere and broken circuitry. A random Maverick Hunter claps as Aribar reactivates the main lighting system.

Digifanatic: *muttering.* "All in all, a very nostalgic day and a good one nonetheless."

Deloth: "And things seemed to go RIGHT for once..."

Digifanatic: "Nonetheless, I do wonder what would happen if we were to search further. Obviously this is much different than anything I was anticipating but it still worked out alright."

Deloth: "Eh... maybe you'll find it in the future, Digi."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, we'll see. Now that the introduction part is outta the way, it's not as much of a concern."

Metal Man (GM): Their mission complete, the Questers are now at Maverick Hunters HQ. X is there, and everyone's at the armory.

X: "Since you did so well, we shall upgrade your weapons... just a warning, though... we don't have the most unusual of weapons, so don't expect a lethal hat to be upgradeable or anything."

Deloth: "What about this?" *takes out the dark crystal.*

X: "What IS that?"

Metal Man (GM): He stares at it, incapable of telling what it is.

Julian: "Long as you can upgrade this-" *Julian's nail bat is retrieved from his equipment bag.* "'S all right with me... Looks like some kinda crystal."

Kenku nods in response. "Well, before I ask about the regular thing, do you have shields?"

X: "We can use crystals to focus laser weapons. I would guess it would create dark-aligned effects. A baseball bat..." He shakes his head. "Kinetic weapons lost all favor when we went energy. However, I can add a laser edge to make it a REAL weapon if you want. Shields? I wish. All we have are subtanks, and they don't work on organics."

Deloth: "Will THIS work?" *takes out his laser sword, with a bit of a flourish.*

Dragoshi: *Takes out his scythe.* "Well, this thing could use an upgrade, I suppose."

Julian: "...You're kiddin' me."

X: "Again, I can only really upgrade that to have a laser edge. We don't use those things very often."

Dragoshi: "I see."

Kenku: "I see... well then." Kenku says as he draws his sword. "What can you do for this?"

Dragoshi: *Puts away scythe, pulls out Laser Sword.* "This'll work then, I suppose." >_>

Aribar: "X, I have something that your weapon smith has wanted for a while I believe."

X: "Again, we really work with energy. It'd need an energy blade to be worth anything. Oh, what was that?"

Panzer is silently fuming in the corner. Drinking again. She must've found her older stash at the HQ.

Julian: "Never underestimate the power of a blunt object. You hit anythin' hard enough it'll go down." *Puts the bat back in his bag.* "Any chance I could get a rain check?"

X: "If you bring us the equipment we could service your... old... weapon."

Aribar takes out the dark Vol Opt crystal. "A while back when we were taking care of the Vol Opts and such in this land, your smith said that if we could get some of these crystals, he may be able to do something with magical weaponry."

X: "We don't have anything but several emitters and mounting devices for them. And also we could use crystals. Like that one..."

Metal Man (GM): He points at the crystal.

X: "That's enough to make one magical... weapon... thing... But we are still relatively in the dark about this 'magic.' What would you want it to do? That's just a blank slate, if my sensors read it right."

Digifanatic waits around. Open for conversation.

Deloth: "So, you said that this--" *holds out the crystal.* "--plus this--" *holds up the laser sword.* "--could make a dark-infused weapon?"

X: "Yes."

Metal Man (GM): He then points to Aribar's crystal.

Kenku waits for a response about his sword.

X: "If you combined that with the crystal he has it would be an amplified... 'magic'... effect, whatever that is. Mavericks seem to understand those effects better than us. As for the primitive sword..." He points at Kenku's sword. "Again, I can only really offer adding a laser edge to it. From there all of our upgrades are possible."

Aribar would hand the magic crystal over to Deloth. "I'd like one get-out-of-backstabbing free card for this."

Deloth: "Deal. Thanks, Ari." *hands both crystals and the laser sword to X.*

Aribar would then unsheath Sunlight. "I suppose one cannot go wrong with lasers. Unless..."

X: "The laser increases the damage, generally."

Metal Man (GM): He takes the laser sword, the crystal, and the magic crystal.

X: "Hm... yes. This looks to be a very potent combination. Enough to make a Sword of Darkness!" He doesn't actually know what that means to you guys.

Aribar shudders...

Metal Man (GM): He opens up the laser sword. It's a fairly standard device.

Panzer: "X, aren't you late for your date with Zero or something?"

X: "No. The weapon smith took a vacation and now I get to do all the work. Too busy kissing Signas' boots to look me in the face?"

Metal Man (GM): He stares at the blade like it's a bit odd.

Deloth: "...Burn. And I don't even know who Signas is."

X: "Hm. This isn't standard. Oh well."

Metal Man (GM): He rips a piece out and sticks in the crystal. Then he gets an extended blade from the armory and carves down the crystal to fit it.

X: "Well, what do we have here. Enough crystal to make... another magic weapon if you want." He tosses the chunk back to Aribar.

Panzer: "Well, Signas is rather attractive but no. He's no soldier. Not like Colonel was."

Kenku: "Sounds interesting" Kenku says "Go ahead."

Aribar: "Huh."

X: "Heh heh heh." He attaches the larger hilt to the laser sword.

Metal Man (GM): He then turns it on. It reverberates with eerie dark smoke floating around it.

X: "I'm not the best at these, but I may well determine what happens when I swing it."

Deloth: "Niiiiiice."

Metal Man (GM): He swings it once. Normal. Twice. It covers the square in front of him with dark energy. He scans what it does.

X: "Hm. It has an incapacitating effect. Anything you hit with this will be easier to hit. I know it sounds weird but... this is 'magic', so it seems to defy what I'd expect."

Aribar holds up Sunlight and summons up some lightning magic. "I would like to enchant this blade with that crystal and my magic so that it not only burns through my enemies, but electrocutes them as well."

Digifanatic: *nobody wants to talk to him? Meh.*

Deloth: "Sweeeeeet." *takes his new sword and gives it a few test swings.*

Metal Man (GM): Every other swing it fires darkness. X looks at... 'sunlight.'

X: "Hm. Do you have the ability to enchant things? Or whatever it is called? Otherwise you'll need a focusing device which is electrically oriented. But that sword looks like it already has a magic crystal. The problem is it's made with... weird magic... so I'd have to add a laser edge to the sword, then attach the amplifier to it... and hope it doesn't accidentally explode, since combining two types of energy like that is dangerous."

Panzer shakes her head. "God Ari, next you'll have him sitting in the dark playing Redrum and asking Kamui questions on the Ouija board."

Deloth heads over to Digi. "Something wrong? Your thoughts sound troubled."

Digifanatic: "Nah..."

Aribar: "Er, I guess I should simplify my requests..."

Digifanatic: "Just got nothing to do right now, waiting for everyone else."

X: "If you took the magic crystal to whoever wields... 'magic enchantment', I think you could have it amplified. If magic works like our technology does." He looks at you. "I doubt it."

Julian waits for everyone to finish over by the ship, having no laser weaponry or anything with an edge.

Aribar: "If you don't mind, then, I'll just take the crystal and await until I can cast such magic myself."

X: "No! I will keep the crys--just kidding."

Deloth: "...Dang. Maybe I'm not as good as mindreading as I thought."

Metal Man (GM): He gives it to Aribar. Deloth read Panzer's thoughts! 00100 00100... what does that mean???

Panzer isn't really thinking right now. Drinking requires all processes.

Deloth does catch some very slurred binary code.

Metal Man (GM): Oh right, so it's more... 1011 1110 1110 1101101011011.

Aribar: "... And I'll get a free laser edge."

X: "Which thing? The weird sword? Well, I guess that would be okay."

Aribar: *Finally gives Sunlight to X.*

Kenku waits patiently for his sword to be equipped.

X: "Sorry about that, the fire kept burning my hands." *Upgrades Kenku's sword* "Anyone else?"

Panzer: "Go fuck yourself."

Deloth: "..."

Dragoshi: "...Mind if I get mine upgraded?" *Shows X his laser sword.*

Deloth: "Panz, you really need to put down the alcohol."

X: "Strong words coming from someone who has a clone of themself of the opposite gender following them around."

Panzer chuckles and stands, finishing off the bottle, her third one. "Well now. At least I have admirers."

Kenku taking it back and looking at it for a moment. "So if I get a crystal and an amplifier, I can bring it back for an enhancement?"

X: "Yes."

Kenku: "Ok."

Metal Man (GM): He sticks a laser thing on Dragoshi's sword. It now does more damage as well.

Dragoshi: "Thank you."

Metal Man (GM): Anyway, that done, the ship is ready.

Deloth: "So, guys, where to now?"

Metal Man (GM): The Questers will have to go back to HQ to look for whatever they want next, unleeess they have a specific request. Metal Man apparently succeeded at whatever he planned, because Ael has yet to trouble the Questers even once. And with BLU gone it is possible to fairly safely assume no RED attacks... Wherever they went. @_@

Julian: "So... everyone done?"

Dragoshi: "Yeah."

Deloth: "I'm finished." *sheathes his new sword of Badass +1.*

Julian: "Anyone up for go karts?"

Metal Man (GM): Of course, Jack also went after the Time Cops, so it becomes sort of a mystery what awesome things might be occurring when the Questers are not looking. Or Go karts. Those are still open for mission.

Digifanatic: "I'm good."

Kenku sheathes his sword, and heads back to the ship "That's right. we need to send them an RSVP."

Dragoshi: *Nods.*

Metal Man (GM): Yes... nothing at all awesome going on...

Julian: "Get in the ship, then. Digi, we're goin' to tha MK."

Deloth: "Bleh. Can you drop me off at the Stadium before you leave for that tourney?"

Kenku heads to the ship.

Deloth heads for the ship.

Digifanatic: "Yeah, I can drop him off." *heads in and takes pilot as typical.*

Julian: *Into the ship.*

Metal Man (GM): All systems are go.

Digifanatic: *liftoff.*

Dragoshi: *To ze sheep!*

Metal Man (GM): The ship is now on its way to the Stadium.

Deloth: "Can't drive worth a lick. I might just curl up at home for a while..."

Digifanatic: "I understand. As long as Metal Man isn't piloting a kart. He's too busy running from the Cops as it is."

Deloth: *leaning back.* "If Metal is driving, the whole course will be a puddle of molten glass within the hour."

Digifanatic: "True."

Kenku: "You could come to just watch the carnage. It's Mario style after all."

Metal Man (GM): The ship makes its way to HQ.

Deloth: "Nah. I think I might look up a couple of missions."

Kenku: "Alrighty."

Digifanatic: "No problem. Take care." *opens the doors.*

Deloth: "I didn't get to mess around with that computer very much while I was here last time." *hops out.*

Digifanatic: "Maybe you'll find us on the TV!"

Kenku: "Oh... Is it ok if I make a quick call to Robotnik?" Kenku asks as he steps out.

Digifanatic: "What for?"

Deloth: "That could be good OR bad, Digi."

Digifanatic: "Eh..."

Kenku: "I think he may have the piece of equipment I'm looking for come to think of it."

Digifanatic: "Well, I'd prefer you wait."

Kenku: "Alright."

Digifanatic: "I've a feeling that will turn into an affair that'll drag us away from the Karting..."

Metal Man (GM): And then the ship reaches HQ.

Kenku: "Ahhh. Ok... well... Karting is in 2 days after all."

Digifanatic: "You. Never. Know."

Kenku: "Right... especially with Robotnik."

Panzer: "Gentlemen, it is Friday afternoon, we have a full tank of gas, three cases of beer, a quarter ounce of weed and I am too drunk to drive."

Deloth: *heads for HQ* "See you later, guys."

Digifanatic: "And you're too drunk to speak, Panzer."

Panzer: "I can still talk."

Kenku: "Anyway", he says and trots off "I'm going to go practice a little with my sword, if you need me I'm in the arena proper."

Digifanatic: "Well, meh... if you want out, go ahead."

Aribar: "She is talking."

Deloth: *Headquarters.*

Panzer: "I'll go." *hic.* "I haven't driven in forever."

Digifanatic: "Alright..."

Kenku: "Well... if you guys are heading over now, I'm coming. Go Karting is one of my favorite things to do, and I'm not too shabby at it."

Aribar: "I'll head out with the others to the race track... Perhaps I could join the race, or even just search about for a contact who deals with Spellbooks..."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, we are..."

Julian: "Then get in the fuckin' ship! C'mon, Digi, time's a'wastin'."

Digifanatic: "Hey, I'm waiting for them. They're the ones on the fence." *takes off for the Kingdom as soon as everyone who's going karting gets/stays on the ship.*

Kenku gets aboard.

Deloth waves and walks inside HQ.

Metal Man (GM): The ship takes off. The Kart people are now on their way to Peach's castle. The ship is near Peach's castle.

Panzer is near Peach's Castle!

Julian: *So is Julian!* "Find somewhere to land that don't take out a flowerbed."

Metal Man (GM): There's a big... biiiig track... and a sign showing where to land, even. It seems this is a bit larger than expected... it looks like a bunch of people in this race.

Digifanatic: "Indeed." *Goes for the landing zone.* *He'd probably be wearing decent clothes--especially considering how fortunate he was during the last mission, nothing's messed up too bad.*

Metal Man (GM): The ship lands. The Questers see Peach talking to a bunch of random people. Guess the Questers were almost too late. Whoops! Time flies.

Kenku steps out of the ship and runs over.

Metal Man (GM): Guess they should talk to Peach.

Peach: "Oh... hi."

Digifanatic: *heads to Peach.*

Peach: "I was just talking to the other racers."

Julian: *Walks over to peach.* "Yo, we're here fo' the karts."

Kenku: "Hey... sorry if were late, got a few more entries."

Metal Man (GM): You see Mario, Luigi, Toad, Waluigi and Yoshi.

Peach: "We have a... new format. Rather than have several small races we just have one really long three-lap race."

Panzer looks around. "So do you have a tank?"

Kenku nods.

Julian: "Fair enough."

Peach: "No, only these." She points to generic karts. "And all the good colors were taken..."

Julian: "More exitin' that way, I think... That's it? Man..." *What colors are left?*

Metal Man (GM): The remaining ones are in a number of colors... blinding yellow, hot pink, and blue with violent electric blue stripes.

Aribar: "I call blue."

Kenku: "I call Yellow!"

Julian: "I was gonna call t-fuck."

Metal Man (GM): It's now time for Julian and Panzer to fight over who gets the pink one! :p

Dragoshi: *Chuckles.*

Peach: "...Nobody likes that color."

Panzer hops in the pink one.

Peach: "There's more of you than expected... uhhh..."

Metal Man (GM): She looks around and takes out a rusted one.

Aribar: "Ah, Julian can have this kart."

Peach: "Okay, that's one more..."

Aribar: "Since I've never driven before anyways..."

Waluigi: "Don't worry, Peach! I'll let them use my cart!"

Metal Man (GM): He pushes a purple cart towards all of the Questers.

Julian: "...Man, when I beat y'all in this it's jus' gonna make it all the more humiliatin'...or is Ari droppin'?"

Peach: "But what will you drive, chea--Waluigi?"

Aribar: "... I'll drive his kart."

Waluigi: "..." He chuckles. "The WALUIGIMOBILE!"

Panzer: "He can ride with me."

Digifanatic: *muttering.* "I'm not trusting Waluigi's cart..."

Metal Man (GM): A streamlined purple Go-kart which looks like it came from the future drives up.

Kenku hopes into his Kart and buckles up.

Waluigi: "I've tuned it so it matches the other karts exactly!"

Peach: "...Fine."

Aribar hops into that kart.*

Digifanatic: "So, I think I'm screwed... Peach, do you have like a production booth here or something?"

Peach: "Hm."

Julian: "...I don't trust 'em." *Julian walks over to the electric blue kart, inspecting it for any tomfoolery.*

Metal Man (GM): It's normal.

Digifanatic: "I remember I was at something like this before and there was an odd scandal going on."

Metal Man (GM): She walks into the lake a little and pulls out a seaweed-encrusted Go-kart.

Peach: "This... can help... I hope there aren't too many more of you..."

Panzer fumes, takes out another bottle. Drinks more. "I hate pink."

Digifanatic decides to take the last kart Peach brings in. He fears something may happen like with what Ganondorf did at that tournament...

Metal Man (GM): Digi is seaweed.

Digifanatic: "Princess, before you start, make sure there are enough cameras to follow the action in case something strange and unexpected happens."

Metal Man (GM): Rusted.

Julian: "Are we allowed to take anythin' onto the track?"

Peach: "I will... uh..."

Waluigi: "Sure!"

Peach: "...I guess so..."

Julian: "Ballin'." *drops his equipment bag in the pit lane, but not before grabbing his nail bat.*

Aribar leaves his swords and spellbook near Julian's stuff.*

Metal Man (GM): The Karts line up.

Peach: "So... everyone ready?"

Digifanatic: *decides to bring along the golf club--then again, it's more of a hammerspace thing anyway. * "Aye!"

Kenku gives the thumbs up as he waits for the green.

Dragoshi: *Take the rusted kart.* :V

Aribar: "This is the first time I've ever been behind the wheel of a car, and it's Waluigi's kart. I can never be ready."

Julian drives his kart onto the track, nail bat attacked to the side of his seat. "Let's roll, suckas!"

Metal Man (GM): The seaweed kart belches flames from its tailpipe. It sounds like a Chevy about to throw the entire engine off of itself. The rusted one rattles oddly.

Digifanatic: "Whoa..."

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's kart in the hands of Aribar appears to be perfectly normal.

Peach: "Oh, I almost forgot. The winner wins... uhhh..." She thinks. "Oh, right! The winner wins a Go-kart!"

Kenku: "Sweet!"

Waluigi: "..." He shrugs. "A win is a win for me!"

Dragoshi: "...'k."

Julian: "Makes sense."

Digifanatic: "Cool."

Panzer: "Is this thing a stick shift?"

Metal Man (GM): Peach gets to the side and starts the lights. It's set on 'Get Ready.'

Aribar: .oO(This will be a bitter-sweet victory if I win..)

Peach: "...If you want it to be." It does have a shifter.

Kenku looks and waits.

Metal Man (GM): It's set to automatic, but it is possible to use it to shift manually.

Panzer switches it to manual. Automatics suck.

Peach: "All right... get ready!"

Aribar attempts to start his kart... And figure out which pedal makes it go.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi puts on goggles and looks... extreeemeee... he puts on shoulderpads.

Panzer sets it in first gear and keeps the clutch down, revving it every now and then.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar turns on the kart. It works normally.

Julian's hands shift uneasily on the steering wheel as he revs the engine a few times to get it warmed up.

Digifanatic: *decides to leave it on automatic for now... this is meant to be leisurely, so why bother about shifting?*

Julian: *Also shifts to manual control.*

Peach: "All right... Three!"

Metal Man (GM): The Mario Kart character people rev their engines. Waluigi's sounds supiciously higher spec.

Aribar: *Vroom.*

Digifanatic: *revs and notes Aribar's cart.* .oO(He's gonna lose it before he hits turn one.)

Peach: "Two! One!... GO!"

Kenku mashes the gas pedal down and takes off.

Julian: *Guns it!* "GET WALUIGI!"

Panzer puts her boot on the pedal to the floor on the instant of the word and rockets off. Yey. She rides up through the gears easily.

Digifanatic: *Stomps on the gas soon after.*

Dragoshi: *Guns it!*

Aribar: *Press a pedal!*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's kart rockets off at an unnaturally fast speed.

Dragoshi: *Watch it break down!* :V

Metal Man (GM): The rusted kart catches on fire while driving. It is still working though. Just... There's a giant fire behind the driver. Meanwhile, the seaweed one merely moves slower than it should, shooting algae everywhere.

Digifanatic: .oO(Just need some Mushrooms...)

Dragoshi: "...welp."

Panzer manages to get up into the top gears fast, holding lower ones longer than she should in order to get better acceleration at a higher RPM than the automatics.

Digifanatic: *keeps it coasting along--hey, he's behind Waluigi's cart.*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's own kart moves faster than most everything else. Aribar is right behind Waluigi, with the people in normal cars in a large clump with the fiery rusted car. Then behind them is the algaemachine.

Dragoshi: *Just tries to get everyone to move out of the way of the FLAMING DETH KART.*

Waluigi: "All righty... now the fun begeeens!"

Julian tries to use backdraft to get around the other races, trying to slingshot around them to the front of the pack while shifting gears.*

Metal Man (GM): The Questers are nearing the first soft right turn.

Waluigi: "Luigi! Look out behind you!"

Luigi: "Wha?"

Digifanatic: *also wishes he can draft a bit as he lightly turns the wheel to the right.*

Metal Man (GM): Luigi turns around. Waluigi hurls a baseball at him!

Kenku drafts a little as he sets up for the turn.

Aribar: "Kart go left!" *... Oh, yeah. How well does turning with one hand work?*

Luigi: "Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!"

Panzer passes the turn on the inside. ^.^

Julian slides into the turn around the inside of it, trying to build up a boost... and get near Kenku.

Metal Man (GM): Luigi falls behind as Aribar realizes turning is difficult with one arm. The group is still tight together... Aribar is still in second. He is in touching distance of Waluigi's car! The turn is hard to keep with... Waluigi's kart will soon cut Aribar off.

Aribar: *Try to stay on the track!*

Kenku attempt to quickly shift between gas and break and powerslide through the corner.

Dragoshi: *Just keeps tryin' to get ahead of the cluster.* e_e

Metal Man (GM): Panzer goes on the inside. She would begin to catch up to Waluigi as he goes in the corner and Aribar drifts into third. Yoshi gets nudged into the corner and flies off the track.

Mario: "Whoops!"

Digifanatic scans the area for ? boxes.

Yoshi: "Owowowowowowowow!"

Julian powerslides through the corner, quickly shifting between gas and brake as he enters the straightaway, then gunning the gas again to get the mini-boost. Julian also begins to reach for his nailbat with his right hand as he hopefully nears the lead.

Dragoshi: *Does the same.*

Metal Man (GM): There is. Three of them. Up at an approaching bridge.

Panzer: "Nice engine you've modified there. I could make it better!"

Dragoshi: *Goes to get one!*

Kenku lines up for the ? blocks.

Digifanatic slows down a bit so he makes sure at least one of them regenerates by the time he gets there...

Metal Man (GM): The Questers remain near behind Aribar, with the one in the burning car of death realizing... man, their car could explode if they keep pushing it.

Julian's priorites change as he sees a ? upcoming, and tries to gun or at least knock aside one of the other races to get one.

Aribar: "Kart go faster!" *Down goes the gas pedal!*

Metal Man (GM): The Algae car begins to pick up speed as it belches out a liter of algae and starts running better.

Panzer just races, gaining on Walugi and keeping it in the topmost gear.

Metal Man (GM): It hisses with lots of steam. Yeah.

Kenku attempts to draft off the closest driver.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku moves into 4th, he is behind Aribar. The group is approaching the ? blocks.

Dragoshi: *Tries to get an ? block!*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi has Panzer gaining on him. He turns around.

Waluigi: "You don't defeat Waluigi, numbah wan!"

Julian uses the aforementioned strategy to gun for a ? block.

Kenku slides out of the draft for a overtake and tag a block.

Metal Man (GM): He takes out his golf club and goes to attack Panzer.

Panzer: *scoot ovah?*

Metal Man (GM): *SMACK* He hits the clutch! It's knocked into a bad gear! *RRRRRRR* It's a gear too low!

Panzer re-shifts appropriately.

Waluigi: "Ha-ha!"

Metal Man (GM): The karts have 5 gears. These are weird, dangerous go-karts. Meanwhile Kenku is about neck and neck with Aribar for 3rd, and the group now reaches the item boxes! First to hit them is Waluigi.

Digifanatic: *again, he tries to keep his speed to one such that at least one ? block will regenerate by the time he gets to the set.*

Metal Man (GM): That leaves two.

Panzer: "Come here you little fuck!" She takes off her helmet and throws it at him. 200 lbs of metal right at his skinny little stupid ass.

Kenku goes to see if there is a weight different between him and Ari.

Julian attempts to draft behind Kenku, gain speed until they're almost touching bumpers, then grabs his nailbat, swerves to Kenku's inside, and attempts to pop his left-back tire with the nail!

Aribar: *Continues trying to not fly off the road and die in a fiery explosion!*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi is hit by the helmet. He falls back and is now neck and neck with Panzer. The helmet flies off behind him, threatening both Kenku and Aribar! *WHAM.* Kenku is knocked back as Julian takes advantage and steals his place! But will Aribar hold his place?

Aribar: "Kart go not-crash!" *Dooooodge.*

Panzer drives along side him nice and close and takes off her glove and sticks her claws into his tires. ^.^

Kenku straightens out and goes to draft Julian.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar spins out and crashes into Mario!

Mario: "Ahhahahahahahahahah!"

Metal Man (GM): Mario and Aribar fall behind. Panzer misses the ? block. Julian gets to grab the ? block!

Kenku tags the one left.

Julian's nailbat attempt goes off in vain as Kenku is knocked back anyway... and then he tries to draft. When Kenku tries to slingshot around, Julian tries to take out his tires again with another nailbat attack... Woo, ? Block!

Metal Man (GM): It's Kenku vs. Dragoshi for the ? block left over. Panzer hit Waluigi himself, rather than his tire. Dragoshi grabs the ? block!

Panzer: "Fucker, you fucked with me first you little bastard."

Metal Man (GM): Julian gets a... Fire Flower?

Kenku misses and sighs. He sees Julian going for his bat, and draws his sword.

Dragoshi: *And...?*

Metal Man (GM): And Dragoshi gets a banana peel!

Panzer: "So help me God I'm fucking drunk, if I had a wrench you'd be missing a Goddamned engine!"

Dragoshi: *Throws the banana peel at Waluigi! If he can!*

Metal Man (GM): Digi is meanwhile just quietly catching up as the other 'normal' Nintendo racers begin falling back.

Julian: *Fire, fire! Yeah!* "Now, what the hell does this do on the track, again..."

Panzer shifts to fourth to get better momentum, then back to fifth and to get going again.

Metal Man (GM): Panzer and Waluigi are neck and neck while they approach the next obstacle about to occur--a ramp!

Digifanatic: *He hits a ? Block?*

Waluigi: "You'a going down!" He swings violently at Panzer. Again.

Metal Man (GM): He hits nothing! Meanwhile, Digi slowly hits the one regenerated ? block. He gets a green shell!

Digifanatic: *What the...*

Aribar: *Hopefully drives into a ? block!*

Digifanatic: "!!! I'm too far behind for one of these!"

Panzer: "I'm hard to miss fuckwad, I weigh two tons!" She swerves into him to knick him off the track, weight possibly to her advantage.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar's so far behind... he gets one as you follow Digi.

Digifanatic: *leaves it in his kart for now as he plods around, trying to draft if possible.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar gets a lightning bolt!

Kenku attempts to slide up beside Julian, and putting his sword in a thrust position, tries to use his cars weight to speak the back of Julian's Kart.

Julian: *Attempts to pop Kenku's front tire as he tries to pass then.*

Dragoshi: *Tries to throw his banana!*

Metal Man (GM): Kenku's front tire gets smacked!

Kenku misses as he's punctured...

Julian: *Checks how far back from the leaders he is.*

Kenku attempts to regain control again.

Waluigi: "Gah!"

Metal Man (GM): And Waluigi is shoved aside as Panzer is first on the ramp and flying across the gap.

Julian shifts up to 5th gear to pull away from Kenku and hit the ramp at top speed!

Panzer straightens out in time for the jump and lands a little hard, getting her gears and momentum up again, pedal on the floor.

Aribar activates the bolt after Panzer flies off the ramp.

Metal Man (GM): Standings are Panzer, Waluigi, Julian, Kenku and Dragoshi, random Nintendo people, Digi, Aribar, Mario.

Digifanatic: *ZAP* "Aww, not cool, whoever that was..."

Kenku mashes the pedal and takes the jump at full speed.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone is hit by lightning!

Dragoshi: *Tries to boost ahead of Kenku... in his shrunken state, apparently.* :V

Metal Man (GM): Except for Aribar.

Julian: *ZZZAP!* "...Aw 'dis is some bullshit rigth here."

Metal Man (GM): Panzer is hit mid-air!

Panzer: *helium.* "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!"

Digifanatic: *slows down so he knows he'll have the speed to make the jump instead of risking the lost speed and needing to get help from a Lakitu.*

Metal Man (GM): Panzer is now going to miss the ramp! Ahhh!!!!

Kenku pulls out the spin in time to catch some turbo.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi flies off the ramp!

Waluigi: "Gahhh! No!"

Dragoshi: "This is not gonna end well..."

Metal Man (GM): There are turbo lines.

Panzer: "Who was that..."

Dragoshi: *Uses the turbo lines! WHEEEEEE.*

Metal Man (GM): The tiny effect winks out just as Julian flies over the ramp to his doom as well.

Aribar: *The normal-sized Aribar whistles innocently as he flies by!*

Kenku flies over the ramp laughing.

Metal Man (GM): Julian, Panzer, and Waluigi are picked up by Lakitu. Now for the new standings...

Digifanatic: *And he was so far behind he's large by the time he hits the jump, right?*

Metal Man (GM): ... Kenku, Dragoshi, random Nintendo people, Panzer, Waluigi, Julian, Digi, Aribar, Mario.

Digifanatic: *Woot!*

Metal Man (GM): Kenku is now in the lead with Dragoshi behind him. Everyone has crossed the deadly gap!

Dragoshi: *Yaaaaaay.*

Panzer gets her momentum again, riding up through the gears.

Digifanatic tries to draft behind Julian.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone is going downhill so this allows everyone to become rather quick at it, as Digi is now threatening Julian's position.

Julian recovers from the humiliation of having to be put back on the map by riding up through the gears to get back to high speed... and fuck it, activate the Fire Flower once he's back on dry land.

Metal Man (GM): Julian activates the Fire Flower. Waluigi ALSO activates a fire flower.

Kenku rides into the next corner and looks for more ? boxes.

Metal Man (GM): They begin lobbing giant fireballs at one another.

Digifanatic: *stays behind Julian until he gets within a foot or two of his back bumper.*

Dragoshi: *He attempts to hurl his banana at Kenku.*

Metal Man (GM): Julian is slammed with fireballs as he misses.

Digifanatic: .oO(I hit Waluigi, I'll be screwed.)

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, Kenku slips on a banana and goes into second.

Kenku straightens himself out and starts to draft Dragoshi.

Digifanatic doesn't have to worry about hitting Julian.

Metal Man (GM): Julian is knocked back a place as Panzer is... not hit by anything, and thus is able to move up.

Dragoshi: *Boosts ahead while looking for more ? blocks!*

Aribar realizes he's the last Quester... He casts Rejoin to get a bit of an edge.*

Digifanatic: *Stays behind Waluigi for now.*

Panzer is already at the top of her tachometer.

Julian lets out a string of curses as he's hit by the fireballs, then quickly attempts to get back up to speed and get back in the race.

Metal Man (GM): Standings: Dragoshi, Kenku, Actually nobody, just a gap; Panzer, Waluigi, Digi, Julian, Aribar, Mario. Panzer is fast gaining on Kenku. Everyone's driving down a straightaway in front of a grandstand.

Panzer stays in the middle of the road, pedal still on the floor.

Kenku attempts an overtake on Dragoshi.

Dragoshi: *Just attempts to get in Kenku's way!*

Aribar realizes he's the last Quester... He casts Rejoin to get a bit of an edge. If possible.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar reappears right alongside Julian. Kenku and Dragoshi collide. Kenku catches on fire! Panzer is now right behind Dragoshi and Kenku.

Julian: *Having no patience, Julian attacks Aribar's tires with another nailbat.* "Man get the fuck outta mah way!"

Panzer swerves around them to get up to the lead.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi is right behind Panzer.

Aribar waves at Juli-ohwait, one armed.

Dragoshi: "I really wanted to do that."

Metal Man (GM): And Julian misses Aribar as Digi follows behind.

Dragoshi: *Goes to boost ahead!*

Digifanatic: *continues trying to draft off Waluigi.*

Kenku yells "Argh!" and drops back for a little. "Fine..." he draws his sword and dries to charge ti eight into Dragoshi's Kart back.

Dragoshi: *Sees what Kenku's doing, draws out his sword... and gets ready for a sword fight!*

Julian shifts down to 4 to build up momentum and draft behind Digi before trying to spring forward around by shifting into 5, nail bat out and trying to slash Digi's tires as he passes!

Panzer tries to go around them to get the lead.

Metal Man (GM): Everyone's about to go onto the second lap... Panzer sees Kenku and Dragoshi are in the way. Meanwhile Kenku gets out his sword. Kenku and Dragoshi are sword fighting while driving. Kenku and Dragoshi sort of awkwardly swing at air while Panzer passes them both up. Lessee, standings...

Kenku pulls back before before he catches flame again, and then grabs Panzer's draft.

Digifanatic: *Swerves away from Julian and then drafts off him as he (likely) passes.*

Aribar decides to cast Plane and head to the Land of Endless Boost Strips.

Metal Man (GM): Panzer, Dragoshi/Kenku, Waluigi, Digi, Julian, Aribar, Mario.

Panzer stays topped out.

Dragoshi: *Attempts to drive ahead of Kenku and drift behind Panz!*

Digifanatic: *drafts off Waluigi, then.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar vanishes mysteriously! Digi is passed up now, as passing beats attacking this time. Waluigi is now at the sword fighters. He swings at both Kenku and Dragoshi!

Digifanatic: "Julian, we gotta work together and then fight it out on the last lap!" *drafts behind Jules.*

Panzer weaves a little. She's drunk for crying out loud.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku goes hurtling sideways as Waluigi smacks him over the head!

Panzer looks for her helmet on the second lap.

Kenku tries to regain control, and draft the closest driver.

Julian grins as he passes Digi. "FUCK OFF!" *Julian attempts to inch forward, trying to get close enough to Waluigi by powersliding/boosting and gear-shifting to draft him and eventually pass.*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi and Waluigi get in a sword vs. golf club tie as they are behind Panzer, who is weaving and searching... on the first straightaway of the 2nd lap.

Panzer straightens out.

Metal Man (GM): Julian has nothin' but space to catch up to.

Dragoshi: *Tries to boost ahead of WAWEEGEE.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar then warps ahead and between Panzer and Dragoshi/Waluigi. Dragoshi boosts into Aribar! *SMACK.*

Julian: *And you better believe Julian's taking those power boost strips when he can.*

Aribar: "Gaah!"

Kenku attempts to pass them both.

Dragoshi: "Woah!"

Metal Man (GM): Julian is next to Waluigi. Dragoshi is stuck behind Aribar. Kenku is behind Julian and Waluigi. Panzer, Aribar, Dragoshi, Julian/Waluigi, Kenku, Digi, Mario.

Julian: *ATTACK HIS FUCKING TIRES.*

Digifanatic: *drafting Kenku, then.*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi attacks Julian back!

Dragoshi: *Attempts to knock Ari out of the way by attacking his kart with his laser sword!*

Metal Man (GM): *SMACK.*

Waluigi: "Waluigi numbar wan!"

Kenku tries to pull around the two of them as they fight.

Metal Man (GM): He pulls ahead as Julian is now threatened by Kenku. Who pulls ahead of him as he slows down.

Digifanatic: *hangs behind Kenku.*

Julian: *Drafts right the fuck back and tries to cut Digi off.*

Metal Man (GM): Meanwhile, Aribar is under attack by a laser sword.

Kenku tries lance Waluigi's car in the back.

Dragoshi: *Whiff!*

Aribar tries to pull Dragoshi towards the half-elf at ramming speed! ... Kinesis!

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi swings at air, as Waluigi catches up to him. Waluigi's car is hit as he is incapable of catching up to Dragoshi and Kenku is now behind Dragoshi.

Panzer is still out in front of the pack.

Kenku begins to draft Dragoshi again.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar shoves Dragoshi's car into his cart!

Kenku tries to make evasive maneuvers.

Metal Man (GM): As the group makes the bend around the turn and is nearing the bridge.

Aribar reaches over and grabs Dragoshi's engine... And casts Activate! For no reason!

Dragoshi: *Takes a potshot at Ari's kart with his Blaster in response!*

Metal Man (GM): Digi is knocked back as Julian muscles past him.

Digifanatic: *stays behind Julian--doesn't want to pass him yet.*

Metal Man (GM): Panzer, Aribar, Dragoshi, Kenku, Waluigi, Julian, Digi, Mario. Also, item boxes coming up again! Aribar casts activate on Dragoshi's cart. Dragoshi's cart stops flaming.

Julian drafts behind Waluigi and attempts get yet another pass to get the fuck out of the middle of the pack. And muscle him out of the way for an item box.

Kenku plans to attempt a pass as they reach the boxes.

Metal Man (GM): Panzer finds her helmet. She sees Aribar close behind her.

Panzer grabs it and puts it back on.

Dragoshi: *Now attempts to get a ? block after that.*

Digifanatic: *keeps following Julian, maybe he can get past Waluigi as well, or close to Waluigi.*

Kenku attempts to beat Dragoshi to the block.

Digifanatic: *And hopes he can get a ? Block as well.*

Panzer blinks and looks back. She throws the helmet back at him to fuck him up.

Metal Man (GM): *BLAM.* Aribar is hit by a laser shot. Then a helmet. He goes careening backwards.

Aribar: "Gaaaah!" *Back to the Plane of Infinite Boost Strips.*

Metal Man (GM): He's now behind Kenku. Now for item boxes.

Kenku will just try to overtake and not steal Dragoshi's then.

Metal Man (GM): First, since everyone was busy fighting Aribar, and Panzer once again missed an item while hurling a helmet... Dragoshi, in second, hits the item.

Panzer will pick her helmet up on the next lap.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku gets an item. Then...

Digifanatic: *still drafting either Julian or Waluigi, whoever's closer to him...*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi tries to shove Aribar out of the way of the item!

Panzer takes off one of her big forearm pieces and sets in her lap to be thrown if she needs it.

Aribar counter-rams Waluigi!*

Julian: *Stalemate, Julian passes both them suckas and grabs the last box.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar and Waluigi crash into one another. Julian pulls ahead of them to snag the 3rd item.

Digifanatic: *follows Julian.* *Screw the item box for now!* *Epic pass!*

Aribar: *... Aribar grabs onto Digi's cart.*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi shakes his fist.

Waluigi: "No! I-a can't lose! Wait..."

Metal Man (GM): He ties a chain around the cart stuck to his, which is coincidentally also his.

Waluigi: "Prepare for ultra Waluigi NOS action!"

Julian laughs maniacally as he finally gets out of the middle of the pack and begins making progress to the front again. Julian drafts Kenku yet again, and his plan of attack will depend on what item he gets.

Metal Man (GM): Digi slips through Aribar fingers.

Panzer looks back at them.

Digifanatic: .oO(Hey, I might win! Everyone else could get DQ'd!)

Metal Man (GM): Water up ahead. The ramp over it is coming up first.

Digifanatic: *stays behind Julian for now as he heads to the ramp.*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi is about to try to pass Panzer.

Panzer throws the forearm armor at him. It's heavier than the helmet at 300 lbs.

Metal Man (GM): Banana, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt... Better not set if off unless EVERYONE is going into the drink. :p

Julian: *You suckas is screwed.*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi gets the Banana peel, Kenku gets lightning, and Julian also has lightning.

Dragoshi: *Oh COME THE FUCK ON.*

Metal Man (GM): Panzer, Dragoshi, Kenku, Julian, Digi, Aribar/Waluigi, Mario. Everyone's relatively tightly grouped as...

Digifanatic: *All he wants to do is stay behind Julian and make the gap.*

Aribar: *Goes to the Plane of Rubber-and-other-electric-proof-materials.*

Kenku rides Dragoshi's bumper to the jump.

Metal Man (GM): ...Epic... Dragoshi and Panzer fly into the air.

Julian hits the bolt as the first 3 hit the ramp.

Metal Man (GM): The ramp over the river. Dragoshi goes to pass and then is attacked by the fore-armor. He punches it away and they're now neck-and-neck. Aribar vanishes to another plane.

Panzer makes it over.

Metal Man (GM): Julian hits the bolt as the first 3 hit the ramp; It is too late to hit the first 3. Digi and Waluigi fall into the river!

Kenku lightnings as he lands.

Julian: *Then takes the boost strip to cross the gap.*

Digifanatic: .oO(Crap...)

Panzer is pwning.

Metal Man (GM): They did their 'fly through air and attack one another' before the lightning was used.

Panzer is probably going to get disqualified for throwing armor at people.

Metal Man (GM): Julian makes it across as he is then shrunken as well.

Dragoshi: *Will probably get DQ'd for taking using his sword and blaster then.* :V

Digifanatic continues not wanting to use foreign objects as he waits for Lakitu to pick him up.

Kenku hits the gas as he prepares to unshrink first.

Metal Man (GM): Mario is in a non-last position people! Panzer/Dragoshi, Kenku, Julian, Digi, Mario, Waluigi (Aribar: ????) Digi is set down in the place as said, as... Julian and Kenku are now neck and neck. As are Panzer and Dragoshi.

Digifanatic: *books it across the jump.*

Julian: *helium.* "FUCK THIS SHIT! YOU ALL GONNA FUCKIN' DIE!" *Julian manages to cross the river and attempts to cut Kenku's tires again as he tries to pass.*

Metal Man (GM): I assume this will mean more conflict as the Questers make it towards the last part of lap 2.

Kenku attempts to car attack Julian.

Panzer drives over to him and grins, then tries to shred his tires.

Dragoshi attempts to hurl a Banana Peel at Panzer.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku goes flying off the side of the track and into a pit.

Kenku tries to quickly repair the tire and get out of the pit.

Metal Man (GM): As Kenku manages to crash some more but doesn't really get far. The car still works, at least. Tires re-inflate.

Julian as NOT fucking kidding. He laughs maniacally again as he takes third place and tries to make a move on the lead, powersliding through the turn and trying to drift behind whoever ends up in 2nd place.

Kenku pulls back on the road.

Panzer failed. ;-;

Metal Man (GM): The wrath of Gnorblos occurs as Panzer is smacked with a banana peel and goes flying backwards.

Digifanatic: *makes sure he can dodge the spinning Panzer.*

Julian tries to dodge the spinning Panzer and take 2nd place.

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi, Panzer, Julian, Digi, Aribar, Kenku, Mario, Waluigi.

Dragoshi: *Chuckles as he decides to drive on ahead!*

Panzer rights her direction and gives the engine hell, probably putting the gas pedal through the floor.

Metal Man (GM): Third lap begins now.

Kenku drafts Aribar.

Digifanatic: *Fast music activate!*

Metal Man (GM): ... ...

Waluigi: "Waluigi NOS time! Eheheheheheee!" *VOOOM.*

Aribar casts Ward on his Kart and continues onward!*

Dragoshi: "...What the-"

Mario: "Mama-mia!"

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's cart belches flame from behind as it becomes ultra fast.

Kenku goes for a straight pass on Ari.

Dragoshi: "This is not gonna end well..."

Metal Man (GM): As Panzer holds off Julian...

Digifanatic: *just stays behind Julian; he can pull a podium if he's good enough!*

Julian curses again as he can't make it past Panzer, instead opting to draft and slingshot the old-fashioned way.

Panzer pulls off her other fore-armor and throws it at Dragoshi.

Metal Man (GM): Anyway, Julian spends a moment trying to get into pole position...

Dragoshi: *Retaliates with his sword!*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi deflects the armor back into Panzer.

Panzer catches it.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi goes to pass Mario!

Julian takes this time to slingshot around Panz and into 2nd.

Mario: "Ahahahahahaaaah!"

Metal Man (GM): Mario is launched flying, on fire, off the road. Aribar lost his place to Kenku.

Dragoshi: *Continues driving on along!*

Aribar goes to become one with his go-kart. The mage goes to cast Sensory! ... For no reason anyone could possibly guess.

Metal Man (GM): Aribar sees Waluigi hot on his tail as the group rounds the bend, about to hit the bridge!

Waluigi: "You're-a gonna burn!"

Panzer sets it in her lap. "I'm going to start shooting here in a minute..." She puts the clutch down, forces fourth and nearly redlines the RPMs, Shifts to fifth and tops out trying to catch up.

Aribar: *Ice Ele, stage behind-Aribar-and-at-Waluigi!*

Kenku tries to draft Digi and pass as they approach the corner.

Julian: *Powerslide! Hit the gas out of the turn to MAXIMUM SPEED.*

Metal Man (GM): The ice isn't good enough! It melts! Julian passes up Panzer!

Aribar: *Fire Ele, because THERE ISN'T ENOUGH FIRE!*

Dragoshi: *Just..drives on... And on... and on!*

Panzer throws the armor at Julian as he passes.

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi, Julian, Panzer, Digi, Kenku, Aribar, Waluigi, Mario.

Julian: *NOW she gets a good roll.*

Waluigi: "You're going down, elf!"

Dragoshi: *Is gonna ween!*

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi goes to run Aribar off the road. The group is about to reach the item blocks.

Aribar drives into the water... And casts Kinesis on Waluigi's kart.*

Metal Man (GM): Armor flying at Julian.

Kenku attempts to draft and pass Digi.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's kart is pushed onto the water. ... It FLIES OVER THE WATER.

Julian: *DONK.*

Digifanatic: *pulls wide so he can get a ? Block and avoid Julian.*

Metal Man (GM): Aribar manages to avoid burning however. Meanwhile Julian is now neck and neck with Panzer. Both are catching up to Dragoshi as he hits an item box!

Dragoshi: *Just decides to boost ahead while they're busy killing eachother.*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi gets...

Panzer pulls out her rifle to shoot Dragoshi. Is so cheating.

Metal Man (GM): A fire flower!

Aribar just... Keeps on driving and tries to avoid the water.

Julian tries to grab the second box as Panzer tries to put a hit on Drago!

Digifanatic: *pulls over to the third of the track not occupied by Julian and Panzer so he can get the other ? Block!*

Dragoshi: *Uses it to keep those behind him down!*

Julian: "Aim fo' the head, Panz!"

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi passes up Aribar while rocketing over the water! Dragoshi hears incoming sniper fire!

Kenku attempt to pull an overtake on Digi.

Aribar casts Plane: Ice.

Kenku starts drafting Panzer.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku knocks Digi aside; Dragoshi is shot in the head! OW!

Julian makes to pass the headshotted Drago!

Panzer goes to pull around him.

Dragoshi: "Augh!"

Digifanatic: *Would rather go for the ? Block at this stage and use a Green Shell.*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi/Julian/Panzer, Kenku, Digi, Waluigi, Aribar, Mario.

Dragoshi: *Attempts to use the Fire Flower in retaliation!*

Panzer now aims for Julian and fires. <3

Aribar would go to cast the Plane spell so he can go to an icy dimension where the lake is frozen over... And take a little shortcut across it.

Metal Man (GM): Julian goes ahead of everyone. And... Julian gets a green shell. Julian, and... Aribar goes into the icy dimension.

Julian drops the shell behind him to ward off his two oncoming rivals and tries to duck!

Metal Man (GM): He is now chasing after Waluigi. Julian gets shot! Now roll for the shell! It's a furious 3-way battle for the lead. Digi tosses his shell away!

Panzer goes to the inside.

Metal Man (GM): Julian tosses his shell behind him...

Panzer tries to gain the lead.

Kenku tries to pass Dragoshi.

Digifanatic: *stays locked behind Kenku if at all possible.*

Julian takes the headshot but keeps on going, trying to railroad Panzer off the track as she attempts to pass to the inside, keeping the pressure on!

Metal Man (GM): Panzer, Julian, Dragoshi, Kenku, Digi, Waluigi, Aribar, Mario. Dragoshi is passed!

Panzer shoves back. ^.^

Aribar continues driving across the lake!

Kenku sees Julian ahead and yells "EAT THIS!" slamming Julian's back.

Metal Man (GM): Panzer is shoved aside as the group is about to hit the jump!

Julian hits the power strip for extra boost power!

Metal Man (GM): Julian pushes Panzer out of the way, setting himself up for an attack from Kenku!

Digifanatic: *hits the power strip and just hopes he gets his by nothing.*

Panzer shoots Julian again.

Dragoshi: *Just... goes to try and regain his lead.* e_e

Metal Man (GM): Julian is pushed aside by Kenku! Then shot! All while flying in the air!

Kenku begins to draft Panzer as he judges his time to the finish.

Digifanatic: *Just takes the jump, not trying to hit anything...*

Metal Man (GM): Kenku, Panzer, Julian, Dragoshi, Digi, Waluigi, Aribar, Mario. Waluigi goes to nerf Digi away! The group's on the final straightaway. Anyone could win at this point.

Kenku keeps one eye behind him and begins to weave a little.

Metal Man (GM): Julian and Panzer are both well in range to attack him or eachother.

Kenku keeps racing for the finish.

Aribar goes to shoot Waluigi with an Elec Ele!

Julian's pushed to the outside by the gang-attack on him, but quickly tries to pull back into the lead by powersliding through the turn, drafting Panzer.

Dragoshi: *Tries to get back into the game by powersliding as well! ...and maybe hopefully doing something that won't fail.* :/

Metal Man (GM): Ok, first, standings. Kenku, Panzer, Julian, Dragoshi, Digi, Waluigi, Aribar, Mario.

Digifanatic: *Just takes the jump, not trying to hit anything... needs to powerslide as well, whatever he can do to keep his speed!*

Julian: "GET THE NEWBIE!"

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi goes to nerf Digi away! Panzer hits nothing as Digi is nerfed by Waluigi.

Waluigi: "I will be numbar wannn!"

Digifanatic: "Nice wish. They're already at the finish line!"

Panzer tries to shoot Kenku again.

Kenku mashes the gas pedal.

Dragoshi: *Tries to drive ahead of Julian...*

Digifanatic: *speeds back up, hoping he found the second set of ? Blocks.*

Julian: *Slash his tires again!*

Kenku swerves away from Julian.

Rinith aims a twilight blast in front of Waluigi.

Metal Man (GM): As Kenku is nerfed by bullets and attacks. It's now Julian and Panzer, with Dragoshi behind.

Kenku tries to recover before the race ends.

Waluigi: "GAHHH!"

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's kart is hit by the blast and...

Dragoshi: *Attempts to take a potshot at Panzer with his blaster!*

Metal Man (GM): EXPLODES.

Digifanatic: *Just dodges Waluigi and maybe he can pass Kenku as well!*

Panzer puts the pedal to the floor, topping out again.

Rinith: "Heh."

Metal Man (GM): Panzer, Julian, Kenku, Dragoshi, Digi, Aribar, Mario.

Julian can taste victory! He slams on the gas, pushing his kart to the limit and tries to draft Panzer and reach her back tire with his bat as they hit the home stretch!

Metal Man (GM): Panzer is smacked! Now for a final Julian vs. Panzer battle of some sort! The karts are on the final part of the lap.

Panzer takes off her boot and hurls it at Julian. All 500 lbs.

Aribar goes to the castle.

Kenku tries to Pass Both Julian and Panzer as they fight.

Dragoshi: *Tries to drive past while they're distracted!*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi has a chance to pass them both.

Dragoshi: *Takin' the chance, bossman.

Digifanatic: *Anything he can do to pass undistracted.*

Metal Man (GM): ...Aaand we have the finish! Panzer knocks Julian for a loop. However Dragoshi pulls up from behind and gets first, as her antics slows her down! Panzer gets second, while Julian gets third.

Aribar decides to just pull up to the winner's stand at the castle. It was an... Interesting race, but the half-elf lost. He sits on the first place spot.

Rinith looks for Waluigi.

Kenku: "Ah well... gah, I've got to work on my evasive driving."

Rinith is still in the stands of sorts.

Metal Man (GM): Kenku is passed up by Digi for fourth and gets fifth. Aribar somehow gets 6th as Mario... Very slowly crawls across the finish line. Waluigi walks 5 feet across the finish line, then falls over and passes out, still on fire. He gets 8th.

Digifanatic: *whizzes by Kenku.* "Wow. I dunno how that happened."

Dragoshi: *Stops his cart, the rusted thing, grinding to a halt. I guess.* .oO(...well. This is surprising.)

Panzer takes another lap to collect her armor and gets dressed, walking up to the others.

Peach: "And the winner is... Dragoshi!"

Julian crosses the finish line and pulls into pit row to grab his stuff, rubbing his face where he got hit with the boot. "Damn, talk about a last resort..."

Dragoshi: "I'm... pleasantly surpri--" *KA-BEWM!*

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi's kart explodes.

Peach: "..."

Metal Man (GM): Dragoshi is comically charred black. Holding a steering wheel. And nothing else.

Peach: "Still first, just... with more carbon content."

Dragoshi: "..." *Hacks and coughs.* *Then laughs.*

Digifanatic: "So, what about his free kart?"

Panzer walks up to Dragoshi. "That's what you get." She walked over to Waluigi and stomps on his head.

Peach: "He gets a Go-kart... not the one he was riding... it exploded..."

Digifanatic: "Okay, good."

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi's head bounces like a squeaky toy. Freaky.

Dragoshi: "Yes. That is what I get for driving an unsafe go-kart."

Waluigi: "Ow!"

Dragoshi: "It was worth it, though!"

Digifanatic: "Yeah, nice race."

Aribar: "... That was weird."

Panzer picks him up and squeezes him for a stress ball.

Metal Man (GM): Waluigi slips loose. Panzer discovers he is slippery by nature.

Panzer steps on him more.

Peach: "Well... good job... here." Peach gives Dragoshi a coupon for a Go-kart with the color of his choice.

Metal Man (GM): He slides out from under Panzer's feet. And then vanishes. ?!?!

Dragoshi: *Takes it.* "Thank you."

Panzer walks back to the others, drinking again. "I almost won... But I was drunk."

Peach: "You can rest while we pry pieces of Waluigi's kart out of the stands."

Kenku pulls in with his Kart "Ah well..." he gets up and flexes a little.

Julian walks over to the others, with his equipment bag. "We're gonna have to do this again some time..." *rubs his chin while talking under his breath.* "Maybe even make a track for the stadium." *Back to normal.* "Anyway! I'm beat."

Digifanatic: "Good idea, Julian. I'm happy with how well I did."

Metal Man (GM): Peach watches some instant replays.

Kenku: "That actually sounds like an Awesome Idea Julian!"

Dragoshi: *Nods and puts the coupon away. He goes to take shake the soot off'a himself. ...after walking away from the princess, of course.*

Metal Man (GM): It shows Questers beating one another with laser implements on Go-karts.

Aribar simply heads onto the ship. He has no idea what just happened.

Digifanatic: "Really, to get a crap car with seaweed and finishing in the top 1/3 of the field isn't too bad..."

Dragoshi: "Well, that was fun."

Peach: "...This will definitely be a race to televise."

Digifanatic: "Oh, I presume it'd be live."

Peach: "Although it isn't quite Mario Kart... er... it should be called... Quester Kart???"

Panzer: "You should allow more shooting."

Julian: "Nah, they always tape this kinda shit."

Dragoshi: "I'm just amused that I won with a rusty kart that was on fire that was prone to explode at any second."

Kenku looks up at the screen and watches his two ugly crashes with a grimace.

Panzer: "Sniper Kart."

Julian: "Death Race...'least that's what it felt like."

Digifanatic: *He has no highlights, he just hung around and did nothing but draft a few times and pass when necessary.*

Julian: "Anyway, you got anythin' else for us Princess?"

Rinith goes to greet the Questers from the stands. "That was too much insane for even you guys."

Peach: "Not yet. But we may have some other sports in the future! ...Not Football, though."

Dragoshi: "Nah. That was par for the course to me." :x

Panzer: "Sniperball."

Peach: "That would just turn into all-out war."

Digifanatic: "Don't incite her, Dragoshi. I'm the only one that would care for golf..."

Julian: "Whenever ya do, we'll be there. Gotta do somethin' 'sides save the world..."

Digifanatic: "Well, you can always come to the Stadium."

Panzer: "Let's do Dodgeball."

Digifanatic: "We've got it finished up a while back and it looks really nice."

Rinith: "Where did that one guy go? the one I blew up?"

Panzer: "I stepped on him and he vanished."

Julian: "Speakin' of stadium, I say we head back. Might'a gotten some more mail."

Digifanatic: "True."

Kenku: "More likely Del got a mission in over radio."

Digifanatic: "So, again, thank you very much Princess." *bows.*

Peach: "Thanks for coming!" .oO(I never want to be on the same road with THOSE people.) "Yes." *Bows.*

Kenku thanks Peach for the racing as he steps to the ship.

Julian: "Thanks for the ride, Peach. A'ight, move out ya bums." *To the ship.*

Digifanatic: *indeed, Julian, to zee sheep.* *waits for the others and hauls it back to the Stadium once they're all inside.*

Dragoshi: *Nods then heads on over to the awesome sheep.*

Panzer looks at the Princess, hands her a fresh bottle of Demoman whiskey and walks to the ship.

Digifanatic: *okay, let's just say everyone's on the ship and he hauls out.*

Rinith: "I'd like to learn how to drive, though I don't think it will be from any of you" =?

Dragoshi: "Especially not me?" >_>

Digifanatic: "Well, that was a different scenario than normal, Rinith."

Rinith: "I was kidding." -.-

Digifanatic: "Ah. It's a good thing you never saw Metal Man drive."

Julian: "Motherfuck was CRAZY. But you already knew that."

Digifanatic: "If you ever did, you'd feel much more secure he wasn't there."

Rinith: "Metalman? yeah I've heard of him a plenty now... which reminds me, I heard something about my badge belonging to the dead guy or something, thought you guys didn't quite die?"

Julian: "Who?"

Digifanatic: "Yeah, which dead guy? Too many of them."

Julian: "There's a tonn'a dead guys."

Rinith: "Nevermind then, just something I over heard when Garrick threw me that badge thing, Good... racing I guess."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, hopefully it won't be the last."

Julian: "If we wanna survive that Stadium ain't gonna be fo' just battles. I'm gonna look into gettin' a track in there."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, I commented on that earlier... now, of course, if we have the holo technology we used to have, we could do just about anything. Never mind a permanent circuit. I mean, we could even set up a Rainbow Road if it was advanced enough. Wonder where can find some good tech crews to help us now that BLU appears to be back to their home base."

Rinith: "They went back? I miss to much when I meditate and read." -.-

Julian: "You seen 'em lately?"

Digifanatic: "Maybe... they left the Stadium last time we went out on a significant trip, so... Which was after we dropped off Metal Man on MavCon." *I suppose we can FF to the Stadium--lands the ship, gets off, re-enters Stadium.*

Julian: "Home sweet home... YO! DELOTH!" *LOUD NOISES* "WHERE YOU AT?!"

Deloth: *from the living quarters.* "Be down in a sec!" *thump thump thump thump THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP.*

Dragoshi: *Just boredly flexes his left claw.*

Deloth: "...Well. Congrats, guys, that was the biggest fuckup of a race I've ever seen in my life."

Digifanatic: "Huh? I thought us smashing each other up in the name of glory and victory would be fun for you."

Julian: "I blame Panzer."

Dragoshi: "Well, it was an... experience."

Deloth: "Digi, you looked like a bunch of psychotic road-rage nutballs."

Digifanatic: "Cause we were having fun and didn't care about driving defensively."

Julian: "Ain't that the point? "

Digifanatic: "Yeah."

Rinith: "See? even other people watching agree with me on the crazy driving." o.O

Julian: "Crazy drivin' = better ratings."

Digifanatic: *opens his palms as if to give a "See?" gesture.*

Rinith: "Slashing tires, fire, being shot in the head, fire, sliding all around, fire, did I mention the explosions of fire?"

Deloth: "Yeah, but I can just see everybody else. 'Hey, are you the guys we saw throwing shoes and helmets at each other? I don't want YOU to handle this! Outta here!'"

Digifanatic: "Because there's a time to be serious and a time to goof off. We were able to get some time to goof off."

Julian: "Nah, they gonna think we're tenacious or some shit. Do whatever it takes to get the job done."

Digifanatic: "And I like Julian's thinking."

Dragoshi: *Nods.*

Deloth: "Or that we're complete nutters. Which we've never worried about before, so I suppose I'm losing some merit here."

Julian: "Anyway, I'm gonna go take a shower 'fore this." *points to his face, where he was BOOTed by 500 lbs of steel.* "Starts to bruise. Lata, peeps." *Walks off to the residential area.*

Digifanatic: "Take care."

Dragoshi: "Adios."

Digifanatic: "Well, Deloth, kinda unfortunate it didn't work out for you, but I think we'll find something cool for you."

Deloth: "Eh... I'm sorry. I guess this race just doesn't mesh with my idea of a vacation."

Digifanatic: "Yeah."

Dragoshi: "Mhm. I should probably cash in that coupon for a kart, eventually."

Rinith: "Make sure its not one that just might blow up again."

Deloth: "So. What now?"

Digifanatic: "Yeah, really... those things look pretty good when they're not getting beat up. We relax."

Rinith: "I think I might go read more books on summoning my self."

Dragoshi: "It probably won't be one that'll blow up."

Deloth: "...I sort of hate not being able to sleep. I can't stretch out and take a nap anymore."

Digifanatic: "I have a question for you... What happens when you try to fall asleep? Does your body just not shut down, or...? Is it the voices in your head distracting you too much?"

Deloth: "No, I just... can't sleep. I've tried blindfolds, dark rooms, music, everything. I still feel fully awake all the time."

Digifanatic: "Yeah, sounds like the body just won't shut down. Except of course, when you're out cold. But that's a battlefield thing, not a relaxed-habitat thing."

Deloth: "It's just... aggravating. I feel like whenever I try to figure this out, I'm putting together a jigsaw puzzle with half of the pieces missing. And no edges. Or picture."

Digifanatic: *As Del presumably walks away.* "I think we're gonna figure this out someday. Next free break I get, I'd like to use it for him. Get it out of the way." *adamant nod.*
