Date: 4:50:14 PM, January 28th to 6:56:15 PM, January 28th;

Metal Man (GM): Kanto
Over the course of an 80's training montage, Garrick adventured through Kanto, gaining the gym badges and mastering the pokemon world. And discovering that Panzer was seen as some sort of vengeful God who had come and destroyed Viridian and Vermilion city.
No matter how many times he told the people it was Panzer, they continued to say that "Questers told us it was a monster" and few seem to have believed him. Thankfully, that was only a minor issue. Beating Team Rocket's attempt to build an evil replacement city in Vermilion was more important.
After eventually defeating the Elite Four, and mastering his team, Garrick came back to Oak's lab, in search of one last thing before he left.
Oak's lab
Oak is still there, idly checking some sort of experiment--some sort of DNA reading device scanning DNA on a slide.
Garrick Fy`aar would enter Oak's lab, walking up to the table that normally held a trio of Pokeballs before dropping the device onto it. His Pokedex.
"I'm back."
Professor Oak: "Oh." *He would turn from his experiment and look to Garrick.* "Well. That was a lot quicker than I expected! ...But it is true." *He'd take out his own.* "You've seen a large number of pokemon in a short amount of time! Yes... you did come here pre-experienced, as I thought. I've just been sequencing some DNA... worrying data that suggests that there is more than one Mewtwo. I might have you investigate, because if there is, I have to wonder how Team Rocket is cloning them..."
Garrick Fy`aar would look quiet dusty and dirty, having traveled quite a long way in a short period of time. His Pokemon, rather than being out and around, were remaining in their Pokeballs in a strap that covered shoulder to hip. He figured they'd do well sitting there when he went into a confrontation in the future.
"If that's something you need me to do, then I'll do it for payment in you helping me out. However, I have a request."
Professor Oak: "Hm. What can I do to repay you for this pokemon data you've found?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "You can tell me where Red is. Red is the only trainer I know of that has a stable connection to the world outside Kanto. He knows how to use his team in situations that I want to use them in. No one else, not even the Elite Four, uses their Pokemon the way I want. So, I need to make sure that I'm ready to go back to the world I know with these new skills."
Professor Oak: "Ah... Red." *He sits there for a moment.*
"A lot has happened here, but, since you were never actually from this world, I don't need to keep it secret from you."
Metal Man (GM): He would look around, lock the door, then open a bookshelf to open a map of... all of Alsa.
Garrick Fy`aar frowns, taking a few steps forward to regard the map and Oak.
Professor Oak: "Red has been in charge of maintaining the peace of this continent, and has succeeded. He has, indeed, managed to contact other parts of our world from here. He currently resides at the very Northernmost point of this continent, where he seems to spend his time training in the harsh arctic, should the 'demon' come back again."
Garrick Fy`aar: "...the 'demon'? You mean Mewtwo?"
Professor Oak: "No, the other one which destroyed two cities. Mewtwo, however, is also an issue. We are unsure if Team Rocket has made more."
"DNA samples have been found. They're slightly off, not from the exact same pokemon."
Garrick Fy`aar hrms and leans against the nearby table, thinking.
Metal Man (GM): Yes.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Though, if I were her, I wouldn't fight Red in a one on one confrontation... I'd take him out at range with a sniper rifle, before he had a chance to throw out any Pokemon... but yeah, I can see your point. And his point."
Professor Oak: "He has studied what you speak of. He has pokemon who could sense the demon before it could use its rifle."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Interesting..."
*He frowned for a minute, then sighed and gently kicked the leg of the table.*
Professor Oak: "The only thing is... he hasn't detected any trace of the demon, anywhere on the entire planet, so he currently is training in preparation for any others who might come."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'd really like to meet him, then... but if you think this whole Mewtwo issue is a bigger deal, then I'd look into it for you, sure."
Professor Oak: "You should meet him first. He's been checking the Mewtwo situation this whole time."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Well. That makes things simple. Where can I find him?"
Professor Oak: "The northernmost point on the continent." *He points to the map.* "Iceflow Point. It's not on normal maps, because it's not supposed to be found. It is like... Mt. Silver, just on this continent." *He would hmmm to himself.* "It really was disconcerting to lose contact with that part of the world. Hopefully Bill's efforts to find it again will succeed."
Garrick Fy`aar frowns and looks at the map more closely.
Metal Man (GM): You'd see that, coincidentally, it's a path north of Bill's house.
It twists through areas that were considered completely empty forest, normally.
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'll have to fly to get there. Alright... I guess I'll be on my way, unless you have anything else to add?"
Professor Oak: "Oh. Yes. Something based on what I found washed up on the beach..." *He'd hand you a washed up looking newspaper.*
Metal Man (GM): It has two interesting headlines.
The first one shows... Digi wearing upside-down sunglasses, destroying fire hydrants in GUN City.
"Digifanatic: Menace of Alsa!"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...you've GOT to be kidding me..."
Metal Man (GM): The other one then shows... you... attacking the RED Engineer on some island with the Gray Mann's robots.
"Garrick Fy'aar--unexpectedly Neutral Defender of Alsa???"
Garrick Fy`aar: "...so, he survived. Good, I suppose... I'm sure if Digi becomes a big enough problem, someone will take care of him. Might end up being me."
Professor Oak: "Seems like you have a brother or... clone... I figured you should know. That strange person with the sunglasses seems like some Team Rocket dropout..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Heh, something like that. Alright, thanks for the news."
*He places the paper into the inside of his jacket.*
"I doubt you'll see me again after this. I'll be needing to head straight back to my own problems once this whole Mewtwo situation is over."
Professor Oak: "I understand. I wish you good luck on your travels, young, er, somewhat young man."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Heh. Thanks. Take care."
*He would turn with that, heading outside of the lab. He'd subconsciously take a ball from the belt on his chest and enlarge it before tossing it on the ground.*
"Pidgeot, you're up."
Professor Oak: "You too." *He would nod, then continue to work.*
Metal Man (GM): Pidgeot would show up, calling out its name as normal and then spread out its wings so you could then climb on its back to go fly to your destination. Sure is more convenient than landing a space ship with a table inside it into the ocean because it has bad controls...
Garrick Fy`aar smirked and slipped onto Pidgeot with a practiced move. "We're heading north, buddy. Back toward Bill's place."
Pidgeot: "Pidgeot!" *It would nod, then go flying to Bill's lab.*
Garrick Fy`aar would grip the feathers of the back of Pidgeot's neck as he frowned. It'd be weeks since he began this little adventure and he felt a great deal more... clear than he did before. He had a number of new ideas that he planned to put into action once he got back to a place where he could work again. He wanted to be ready when he walked into the lion's den. He'd set down on what he
He figured was the start of the path heading north.
Metal Man (GM): You'd land there, and see the path. It's hidden by some bushes, but the bushes would be short enough you could see right over them.
Up ahead is a series of tall grass, then the entrance to a rather ominous looking cave.
Garrick Fy`aar gave a hrmpf before he recalled Pidgeot, giving it a pat on the beak in thanks before he started through the bushes and into the tall grass. He'd be wary of any wild Pokemon that might be attacking... they'd have to be exceptional to survive in this neck of the woods... and head toward the cave.
Metal Man (GM): Given this is an amazing text RPG, you actually can see a shadow in the bushes, so you may try to avoid it or initiate a battle.
Garrick Fy`aar would try to avoid it, for now. He'd like to keep his presence somewhat hidden if he possibly could and he didn't want to let his Pokemon get weak in case Red was too far gone to listen to him and just started attacking...
Metal Man (GM): You'd do so, if only because... of your CQC and other skills, ones Pokemon trainers don't generally have.
You'd find the steps into the cave, finally able to make your way inside. It's pitch black inside.
Garrick Fy`aar frowned, letting his eyes adjust over the course of a few sections. If that didn't do it, he'd reach back to his belt and pull another ball from it, tossing it to the ground.
"Raichu, you're on deck."
Raichu: "Raichuuu!" *The cave would be lit up.*
Metal Man (GM): Revealing a vast cloud of Zubats who then attack you, and which you must fight one at a ti-hahahaha just kidding.
While there ARE Golbats and zubat in here, we'll assume they won't come down unless you actually like the idea of being attacked by them.
The area has an indoor river in the way, after that is a staircase with a boulder blocking the way up. Hm. It must be a means to keep unskilled people out.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Hrm... smart... Not only does it block most people's way, it gives him a chance to see my team before I see his..."
*He would go ahead and traverse it like Red wanted him to. Blastoise would allow him to cross the river without much of an issue and Nidoking should be able to push that boulder aside with his great strength. He'd make sure to have Nidoking return that boulder to it's original place, blocking the way, before continuing on.*
Metal Man (GM): You'd finally open the way out, reaching a cliff overlooking the sea. Hm. Seems like half this planet is made up of those.
Garrick Fy`aar would recall all of his pokemon and allow his eyes to adjust a section time to the incoming light before moving onward...
Metal Man (GM): Red is there... and yet, does not appear to be silently sitting there.
He would simply look to you, after looking at the ocean.
Red: "Sorry if I don't just attack you off the bat, but I got tired of doing that after the fifteenth time. There's become a lot more to do since that one match where Gold beat me."
Garrick Fy`aar gave out a chuckle before climbing the stairs to stand in front of him properly.
"I'd be glad if you didn't attack me. Not yet, anyway. It's good to see you again, Red."
Red: "I'd like to know what brought you here before we do any sparring, anyway." *He would idly toss a pokeball in his hand.* "Yes, it has been a while. As you might have seen... things are weird here. It isn't like it was when I first set out. There's even theories that the entire land was sent here from our home world..." *He stares at the ocean.* "And the demon that attacked us. I vowed to defeat it, but it never returned."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Yeah, about that... we need to talk about that 'demon'...but first thing's first. Professor Oak sent me. He wanted me to help with the Team Rocket situation. The strange DNA that was found that suggested more Mewtwo are around."
Red: "Ah, right. That DNA. Yeah, I found it near where the demon had been."
"It suggests Team Rocket may be cloning Mewtwo. If that is happening... then I, and maybe you, should stop them."
"Do you know anything about why there would be more than one Mewtwo?"
Garrick Fy`aar frowned for a moment, considering...
Metal Man (GM): Your own knowledge suggests Team Rocket was trying to use "Darkrai" and other ghosts to generate electricity.
They actually had data on Mewtwo--that they were scared to death of him, because the last time they saw him he blew up one of their labs.
No attempts to clone him.
That you know of.
Garrick Fy`aar: "As far as I know, Team Rocket doesn't have anything to do with any of the factions that are currently out and about. There was a bit about them using Darkrai and other Ghost-Types to create electricity... ...but I didn't find anything that involved them cloning Mewtwo. My guess?"
Red: "Ah, they never learn, do they." *He shakes his head.* "First long ago they tried to take over the Lavender Town Tower... now they never stop trying to use ghosts. Hm..." *He waits for your guess.*
Garrick Fy`aar: "It's either someone using Team Rocket as a cat's paw or not Team Rocket at all. Mewtwo, Pokemon or not, is a decidedly powerful creature. He'd be strong in anyone's hands."
"There are plenty of other technologically advanced groups of people that have dedicated cloning technology."
Red: "We heard, long ago, from the Mewtwo that we met, that someone named 'Eggman' had used him once. Given Giovanni lost his mind after his last meeting with Mewtwo, this 'Eggman' would be the only other person I could guess. Either that or... yes. Someone else."
Garrick Fy`aar frowned...
Red: "It was a while ago, so..."
Metal Man (GM): He shrugs.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Eggman is currently in the employ of Borne... and Borne was using cloning technology on me."
Red: "Hm. That could very well be it. I heard about you, you came from that land. Maybe you could show me this... Borne."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I could, yeah... ...but I want to be sure before we just go rocketing off toward Borne's base."
"You still have that DNA sample on you?"
Red: "Of course."
Metal Man (GM): He would take out a glass plate of sorts.
Garrick Fy`aar would take it and hold it up to his wrist computer, the only piece of his original equipment he still had left. He'd scan it on his own for now. If that didn't give any hard evidence, he had other means.
Metal Man (GM): Traces of... Smash Energy?
Garrick Fy`aar frowned for a minute, nodding.
"Things seem more likely... but there's still a loose end." *He opened up his communication system.*
(Comm) "Red Text, come in."
Red Text: "Ah, hello. The day that you call me willingly... my, have times have changed."
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "Yeah yeah, I'm just full of surprises. Listen, I'm guessing you've kept track of the planet in terms of dimensional disturbances or rips?"
Red Text: "Yes, although given 'Xavier Ridgecrest' and other fun indicators have been flooding my map, we're getting very close to the point of jamming all teleportation over it."
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "Well, lovely... listen, have you had any pings around the Kanto area?"
Red Text: "Not very often. Odd. I thought Xavier would go there and catch Missingno, then begin shooting civilians for 'fun'. Anything in particular you're looking for?"
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "Mewtwo. Nintendus' Mewtwo."
Red Text: "Oddly, no. I can ask him if you're wondering. Any dates in mind?"
Garrick Fy`aar glances up to Red, arching an eyebrow.
"When did you find that DNA?"
Red: "Not too long ago."
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "Probably sometime in the last week, maybe two."
Red Text: "Nothing that recent."
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "Great, just great. Let Illian know, we're guessing that Eggman and Borne might be experimenting with cloning a new Mewtwo. Perhaps several."
Red Text: "Noted."
Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "He and I are headed there now. We're going to 'inquire' about it."
Red Text: "Very well. Be advised. He has guards."
"Some of whom you might even recognize."

Garrick Fy`aar: *Comm* "I'm sure things will be fine."
*Comm* "This isn't the first time I've invited myself into Borne's place."
*Comm* "Garrick out."
Red Text: "Ciao."
Metal Man (GM): *Click.*
Garrick Fy`aar would turn to Red, nodding.
"It pretty much has to be Borne, then. I'll take you to him and we'll ask about this whole Mewtwo business."
Red: "So..." *He would nod.* "We can spar later then, since this is somewhat important."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Right. Keep in mind, if things get dicey... he and his men are tough customers."
Red: "Right... I'll just be ready to bail if it gets too hot. We can always come back and try again with what we learn this time if he turns hostile."
Garrick Fy`aar would reach to his belt and pull Pidgeot's ball from it, letting him out.
"Good thinking. Shall we?"
Metal Man (GM): He'd nod, flicking the ball to the ground and summon Charizard.
Red: "Yes, we shall. You take the lead... I don't know this other land very well."
Garrick Fy`aar would get onto Pidgeot and gently tap his heels into its sides, taking off. He'd use his wrist computer to plot a course and follow it toward Borne's place. It'd be a bit of a trip and not at all as comfortable as his ship, but if Red could use just Pokemon to get the job done, so could he. He'd make to land at the same busted up old base that he used last time when walking right into Borne's city.
Metal Man (GM): You'd near the city, and see ungodly huge cannons aim at you. A message would beep on your computer.
Borne: "Greetings. Please land outside city limits, or be obliterated."
Garrick Fy`aar frowned, coming to land in... the place he was planning on landing anyway, outside the city limits...
"He's upped his defenses... probably from the last attack by Grey Mann..."
Metal Man (GM): You'd land in a landing area, and meet... a customs area?
A bunch of customs agents would approach you.
Agent: "Ah, yes. Garrick Fy'aar. What is your purpose for coming here?"
Garrick Fy`aar would slide off Pidgeot and gently rest his hand on his side to calm him. "I want to speak with Borne. I have a few questions for him."
Agent: "In person? That requires a bit of a wait. Or... right here? You are considered a representative of another nation, so..." *The agent shrugs.* "He would probably talk with you over the vidcom."
Garrick Fy`aar glanced at Red, wondering if he'd landed at all and if Charizard was still out before looking back to the Agent.
Metal Man (GM): Red has landed, but he's also been his normal silent self.
Perhaps that's how he acts to anyone whom he isn't comfortable talking with.
He's currently staring at some of the guards enough to cause some of them to move or look nervous.
Garrick Fy`aar: "Maybe we can start with the vidcom for now. I might like what he has to say. If not... well, we'll see."
Agent: "Right. This way. Also, that illegal alien you brought with you... he'll need to fill out paperwork if he needs to enter. And, weapons will have to stay outside the city, if you choose to enter."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Oh, don't worry. We're not armed."
Metal Man (GM): He would then lead you to the vidcom.
It would turn on. You'd see Borne in his chair, in an office, drinking admin whiskey.
Garrick Fy`aar: "And we're only going to be here for a minute. I'm sure paperwork isn't necessary." *He'd follow, walking up to the vidcom after withdrawing Pidgeot.*
Metal Man (GM): It literally being named "Admin Whiskey."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Borne."
Metal Man (GM): He sets his feet on top of a table... ...that table you built in the ship to make stuff on.
Borne: "Ah, you. Been a while."
Garrick Fy`aar would narrow his eyes.
Borne: "Have you been considering how much more you could do if you worked for me?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Quite a while. It seems you've stepped up your security."
Borne: "Yes. It gets tiring... bombers, explosions... maniacs in flying cars..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'd imagine."
Borne: "We're about to lock down the teleportation matrix. Red Text should have told you, but he wants you stuck on this planet. I'm considerably more reasonable about these things."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I've actually been doing a lot of traveling in the past few weeks. Getting my exercise in. And during my time here and there, I stumbled across the most interesting little detail."
Borne: "Enlighten me."
Garrick Fy`aar: "It seems that a friend of mine found DNA traces of Mewtwo."
Borne: "Ah. The Mewtwo that is practically wedded to an ancient Evil Alsan Quester. Not surprising."
Metal Man (GM): He shakes his head in disgust at what he said, as well.
Garrick Fy`aar: "But, see, here's the interesting bit..."
Borne: "I'm all ears."
Garrick Fy`aar: "That DNA? It had traces of Smash Energy on it. And I thought 'Who could be using Smash Energy this day and age?' and I immediately thought of you and your little buddy Robotnik."
Borne: "Don't be silly, I already have you on my side. I don't need an inferior pokemon. ...Though I guess, I should hear, what other things I'm supposedly doing."
"Kicking puppies, eating babies..."
"Defacing public water fountains..."
"Leaving cupboard doors open... double dipping..."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Cute."
Borne: "None of those things are as satisfying as people tell me are. It's more interesting to be accused of bizarre things you never did every day."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I wouldn't exactly call Mewtwo 'inferior', Borne. And knowing your history of DNA manipulation, I wouldn't entirely put it past you to put one of the most powerful psychic Pokemon in your army after a little genetic manipulation."
Borne: "And I need Mewtwo... why?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "Why not?"
Metal Man (GM): He makes a gesture at the camera. The camera turns... and shows Sergeant Levis.
Sergeant Levis: "Because armored bulldozers will kill practically anything. Mew-two was only here for two minutes before he was off to the moon! We don't need no cat freak!"
Metal Man (GM): The camera then pans back to Borne.
Borne: "I have my team. It's different people. Better ones. Your accusations are flattering, but misguided. I have no secrets here."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Says the man with world creating technology in his basement."
Metal Man (GM): He smirks.
Borne: "If it were a secret, you wouldn't know about it."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'm sure. Well, I think that's everything. I'll just go back to my traveling. Maybe someday I'll wander back in this direction and give you another visit. We do have unfinished business, after all."
Borne: "Yes. We can do it once that Gray Maniac is a pile of ashes. Luckily, you should be able to finish the job for me."
Garrick Fy`aar: "I'll think about it."
*He cancels the communication after that and turns to leave, shouldering past the agent on the way out.*
*He walks past Red and just keeps on walking, motioning for him to follow and looking troubled.*
Metal Man (GM): The agent shrugs again.
Red follows.
Red: "So... what did that strange man have to say?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "He said he didn't do it. And I believe him. Call it a hunch, but I don't think he is responsible for it. Which means either Robotnik is doing it without him knowing... or Mewtwo from Nintendus really did show up."
Red: "So... how do we find out what it is now?"
Garrick Fy`aar: "We go to someone who knows."
*He keys in a command on his wrist computer, summoning his ship from the forests around Kanto to come to his location.*
"We'll need my ship for this."
Metal Man (GM): Your ship would start flying towards the location. You'd get a comms.
Borne: "Oh. Make sure to land that not too close to my city. The... sensors are finicky."
Metal Man (GM): *TSOOOM* A giant red laser misses your ship by about 10 feet.
Borne: "...Like that."
Garrick Fy`aar: "Then fix your damn sensors."
*He disconnects THAT comm linkup too.*
*He would head toward where his ship has landed. "The only person who knows Mewtwo best... is Mewtwo. So... we're gonna go talk to him."*
Red: "Ah." *He'd follow you, silently.*
Garrick Fy`aar would get onboard his ship and set a course TO DA MOOOOON!! Then launch and head on out in that direction.
Metal Man (GM): And... we'll pause here, because my brain feels outta gas.
+6 EXP to Garrick
Metal Man (GM): SSQ: Confrontation
Razor's Journey
Razor has left HQ. In fact, he is going... somewhere. Where is Razor going, Razor?
Razor: *Well, that would actually depend on the information he got from the database concerning four key issues... unless that is not in HQ, in which case that's where he's going.*
Metal Man (GM): Aha. We shall place him at the database. Which is in HQ, actually.
Razor would exit the door, turn around, enter the garage, and encounter... "The Database."
...
The Database
It's a giant pile of Pentium 3s wired to 386 computers, full of old floppy discs and tape drives laying all over the floor.
It has spiderwebs on it and at least one of the drives has grenaded.
An old CRT monitor sits in sleep mode, along with a mouse and keyboard.
It's a magic computer though, in that the old piece of paper that's nearly rotten into dust is hanging there, ready with the info "TYPE WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE INTO KEYBOARD"
Razor sighs and shakes his head at the sight of it. "Oh that's wonderful. Juuuuust wonderful." He slowly eases in at the keyboard, looking it over, then starting to type. "Alright... first off..." He types in 'major threats aside from Illian.'
Metal Man (GM): The computer glows. You notice that, despite the ancient technology, someone just up and wired in some sort of supertech device in there. Very poorly, but...
You do begin to see images of people, holograms, floating around in the air.
The first one that pops up is a gruff looking man with stubble. And parts of his flesh are entirely steel.
He has gray eyes... and he has a GUN uniform.
BORNE
-Defeated Alsa Questers
-Saavy to attempts to trick him
-Never fully defeated
-Has sworn to destroy Nintendus should it get in his way
The device clicks, then a new thing appears.
A southern-gentleman looking person in weird metallic clothes shows up. He looks to be rather Steampunkish, and has wild blond hair.
LACONIUS
-Leader of the Dweezil Empire
-Possessor of incredibly advanced technology
-With Time Cops gone, is free to invade or destroy wherever he pleases
-Does not appear to respect boundaries or contracts the Time Cops made--may attack Nintendus
The next one that shows up is a strange looking man wearing a green-yellow polkadot tie, metal sequined tuxedo pants, and purple-red blazer with an orange-violet undershirt.
He has curly messed up brown hair and a suspicious smirk on his face.
SLOAN
-The worst fashion sense in the universe
-Never killed (even Borne was killed once)
Razor: "AGH, my eyes..."
Metal Man (GM): -Never defeated
-Outsmarted everyone
-Cannot be found
-Has own planet of mindless Goa'uld soldiers
-Has invincible Ancient-Technology shield
-Dangerous and Assumed Homicidal
It stops there, noting that those are the most major ones.
The three holograms of them continue to float around in case you want more info.
Razor: "Y'know, all of this would've been FANTASTIC information for Mets to share before dragging me here." *He sighs and props up his head with one arm, seeing if he can't download any updated info to his Dex before continuing.* "Alright, good enough reason to go through with this, I think." *Next he types in 'sympathetic inventors/scientists neutral in the Nintendus/Alsa conflict.'*
Metal Man (GM): First up that appears is a man in a red gentleman's outfit, with red slacks, red top-hat, red monocle, red-eye underneath the red monocle (it glows), and a white teacup... with red tea in it. Also, a red scarf.
RED TEXT
-Known neutral entity, claims to have once been Star Steel
-Knowledge of Alsan technology as well as some Smash technology
-Tends to ask for bargains
-Known for spying on everyone
The next one is a geeky looking loser in a white lab coat, twiddling a pen.
BORIS
-Medium-mediocre knowledge of technology
-Good for hacking things open
-Tends to shout 'I AM EEENVENCIBEL'
-Currently hiding in fear after Xavier stole his mask of transformations
And then... an odd one.
It's the Mask Salesman from Majora's Mask.
You don't recall him holding a double-bladed lightsaber though.
MASK SALESMAN
-Mischievous world-traveling deviant
-Unknown purpose, unknown plans
-Appears to possess great power, that he doesn't normally use
-Makes items of great power, for a price
Then, a final one. A weird looking robot wearing a purple felt top hat, and with a bizarre 9-ball cane. Also, a sideways beard.
E LI THREE
-Unknown machine that lives in a temple full of exploding bananas
-Hoards items of ultimate power so as to trick people to do tests to get them
-Has never actually explained who he is or where he comes from
-Claims to be related to Metal Man but isn't
Razor: "...wait, THAT'S what he looks like? Fuckin' bananas..." *He holds his head as he looks between the four.* "Well, Boris is worthless. Red Text is a possibility... not sure I could trust the Mask Salesman with this. E Li Three... ugh, that I'm even considering him for this makes me feel a bit faint..."
Metal Man (GM): Anyway, you can ask for more information, Razor, or... something else, up to you.
Razor: "I don't know if any of them will be able to make what I need. Nobody at the Oak level in all this?" *He sighs and leans back a bit, wings twitching a bit in irritation.* "So... it's a start. Next..." *He types in 'available speedy stealthy interplanetary travel from Nintendus.' The more specific the better, really...*
Metal Man (GM): It notes that the Warp Room has been left unlocked and nobody seems to be noting where it goes.
Outside of that, it shows the bucket-o-bolts REDITS laying around.
It was repaired, but never really used.
Razor: "Hmph. I'd prefer something more reliable to go to place to place."
*He shrugs and starts on his next question as he comments.* "Oh well... guess I'll improvise." *He quickly taps in 'last known location of Garrick.'*
Metal Man (GM): The computer gives you... two options, Razor.
The first shows him being on the GUN Continent... ...the second ALSO shows him being there.
But... it notes him being in two nearby places at once. Weird.
Razor: "...bloody fuck, that's useful. At least it's a starting place." *The next question was quickly entered: 'last known location or means of contact with Red Text.'*
Metal Man (GM): Red Text shows up... ...right dead smack on Continia next to Illian's HQ there.
An additional note is that he apparently is spying on all radio transmissions near Alsa.
And prone to responding even 'When it seems to make no sense for him to be able to.'
Razor: "Easy to contact, then. Guess I know where my first stop is..." *He slowly pushes up, quickly typing in one last query: 'getting to Alsa safely and undetected.'*
Metal Man (GM): It notes that you may pick one or the other. The warp will get you there safely, but generate a warp.
The REDITS will get you there undetected, but it's a bucket o' bolts.
It specifically notes "REDITS is low threat class and liable to not set off any alarms, because it is liable to fall apart at any minute."
Razor grins at that. Easy solution: take the REDITS, and if things get shaky, Warp out. He quickly drops his queries and makes sure the room is as he left it before heading for the REDITS.
Metal Man (GM): You'd see it. Rickety, messy... recently repainted and repaired... it's as good as it's gonna get.
Razor hops on without a second thought. It's go time!
Metal Man (GM): You see you can set different planets to go to on this. It has Alsa on there, but also a taped over "Saga" button.
It's currently not set to any, so you can set it.
Razor snickers at the Saga button. "Well... Alsa, ho..." He pushes the button and reclines in his seat.
Metal Man (GM): It lifts off. As it takes you there, I shall get some orange juice, then we get to the heart of things.
And back.
You begin to approach Alsa. As you do, you begin to feel the air... get colder.
Even though the temperature gauge is the same.
You can land where you want.
Razor frowns slightly, glancing around a bit before pushing up. He'd be aiming for the GUN Continent, hopefully near one of the two pings for Garrick.
Metal Man (GM): You'd see both involved "Central City", where you would then see that the entire city has a glowing dome over it, and massive anti-air cannons. They don't regard you as a threat, but you'll have to land outside the city anyway. One of the dots was on the very edge of it.
The edge is, in fact, a runway, now that you look at it.
Razor aims for that runway, then, but tries to set down in a... less conspicuous place.
Metal Man (GM): You'd see some green fields nearby, out of view of the city entirely.
A little bumpy, but you could land there.
Razor does his best to land the rickety ship carefully in one of those fields...
Metal Man (GM): It makes a nasty CLUNK noise, as it then finally comes to rest, in one piece.
Razor doesn't linger long. He shuts down the ship's systems after a safe landing and hops out, making his way towards the runway. As he does, he draws up his cloak around his person, wings carefully folded beneath it so as not to draw an exceptional amount of attention to himself.
Metal Man (GM): You'd see some sort of customs place. Various people line up, most are rejected, or if they enter, have to drop off their weapons at the entrance.
Tough looking guys with weird pistols staff this booth, security cameras and all constantly surveiling the place.
Razor isn't going to just walk up, of course... he cases the area, checking the uniforms on the guards, the locations of the cameras, and trying to note who is getting rejected and why.
Metal Man (GM): GUN uniforms. You see mostly people who look like lowlifes packing serious heat that are getting rejected.
Also the occasional albino-looking Echidna mobians. They just aren't let in at all.
The cameras are all around the entrance, watching the line and also everything 10-feet outwards from the wall.
Razor doesn't see much in the way of viable means inside aside from the line... so, he steps on into it. One thing was for sure... he'd get in one way or another.
Metal Man (GM): You walk in. Guards look at you, don't seem to notice. Machines scan you. A guy in a worn uniform waves his hand--there's a gate in the way, so you can't likely break it. He simply seems casual about it.
Guard: "Drop yer weapons off here and pick 'em up when ya leave, that should be all if ya want to get in. If ya don't have an ID we can make ya one so you can get them back properly."
Razor pulls out the Lavis Blades... without any power going to them, they barely looked like weapons, but these guys were likely technologically aware enough to tell. "These old relics count?"
Guard: "We had a guy kill three people and set a water hydrant on fire with a golf club. It counts." *He holds out his beefy hand.* "Smile for ya picture, or don't, so we can make sure to get these back to ya. The legal issues with disposing of other people's weapons is too complicated and thorny ta waste our time with."
Razor: "Y'know, I can somehow believe that." *There'd only be a smirk for his picture, but best to play along and not cause trouble. It's not like he was here to start a fight.*
Metal Man (GM): The guard would nod, take the items, and give you a shiny ID with a number and your image on it.
Guard: "Al righ', step on in. Next!"
Metal Man (GM): The gate opens for you to enter the city.
Razor pockets the idea and heads inside. His eyes dart around... he'd need a good starting place to search, and figured... if Garrick had been around here, there was a decent chance he'd been to a bar, pub, or tavern of some kind.
Metal Man (GM): The main bar seems to be known as "The Mad Tavern", which seems to be filled with more tough looking guard types. There's also the publicly open GUN Administration Tower--it's listed as number three, noting the previous two were destroyed and replaced.
There is also the library, and also "The Commemorative 'Screw Garrick' Museum."
Razor: "Well, nevermind... guess he's not too popular around here. In that case, the public tower would probably be a good start. Any public local records he could get on the man would help."
Metal Man (GM): The public tower is open. The initial hallway includes a memorial of "Innocents killed by Questers destroying this Tower Over and Over Again."
It's a long list.
There's a publicly available elevator. The tower is only 10 stories high--it notes "The previous 99 story towers consisted of mostly empty space between the top floors and the first one."
Floors are as follows:
10: Borne's office and helipad. 9: Administration. 8: Technology Administration. 7: Security Check. 6: Armory. 5: R&R Level. 4: Sniper Lookouts. 3: SECURE AREA 2: Historical library. 1: Foyer and here.
Razor doesn't do a great job hiding his disgusted look along the way. Everything he'd heard about this set of Questers pissed him off... it's no wonder Garrick became so jaded over the years. He steps into the elevator and just heads right to the second floor.
Metal Man (GM): You'd find the library, which has much more data on this place.
It has several sections.
History of Alsa...
The Quester Menace...
After the Questers...
Suppositions about Nintendus...
Outer-dimensional Threats...
And the last one,
The Mad Man Project.
Razor starts at the bottom and works his way up. Not precisely what he was looking for, but probably still good information to have. Unlikely to find information on Garrick's whereabouts here though...
Metal Man (GM): Naturally, you can't read a whole library without taking a long time, but the basic data behind each shall be noted here so you get an idea of each, and can choose to look deeper in what interests you.
The Mad Man Project paints an interesting picture.
"In this dark time, the world of Alsa was nearly ruled by one man--Dr. Ivo Robotnik. The Sonic Heroes had abandoned the world after its leader, Marley Marleson, had imposed his own way of doing things."
"Marley made a decisive action, and found himself a now-lost relic, to create the Mad Men--beings of power enchanted by Alsa to do its will."
It shows Marley, Borne, Jack, and "Mad Molly."
It then goes into detail of the ensuing "Mad Man War" in which the Mad Men beat Eggman, then fought one another, with Borne being the one who eventually beat all of them.
You download the others, though I'll give you a note for each should you need any more from them.
The Nintendus ones are inaccurate rumors suggesting that Nintendus is actually the 7th Circle of Hell.
Including pictures of the demonic-looking Alsan Questers.
Outer-dimensional threats is an endless treatise about Time Cops.
After the Questers shows the creation of Borne's current government and guards, but nothing useful for actually dealing with them.
The Quester Menace goes into depth about Alsan Questers invading Borne's hometown, evicting the original inhabitants, then having hated criminals rule it.
And it shows Julian in mob boss gear, ruling it with a casino.
The History of Alsa goes into depth on "Dyne", and the "Mobians", who once ruled ancient Alsa, before some sort of war killed them both.
Razor packs it up after that. No sign of Garrick here, but intelligence was always a good thing... especially since he was so used to it being in short supply. He wouldn't do more than a quick perusal of the other items on his way out the door. He pauses when he's back outside, deciding between going to the Tavern, or heading for that other 'last seen' point...
Metal Man (GM): The other "Last Seen" point can be seen from where you are--right in the middle of a military base. (That is, right from a window on the floor you're on.)
Razor decides that... the Tavern is the safer choice here. @.e
Metal Man (GM): You enter the tavern. There, you see all sorts of military guys, talking about how they "Kicked that Gray Mann's @$%."
And one guy in the corner who is miserably drunk, wearing a bizarrely different uniform, and rambling about Revenge.
Razor eases down near the guy in the corner. A drunk outcast? What a viable fount of information! Or crazy. There was a high probability of crazy. He speaks up as he sits down. "What's got your goat there, my good man?"
???: "Well, for starters, I want to get this place back under my control, young man. Then I want to teach those rotten Questers who ruined my life to be nice to people."
"Then I can retire as a fisherman beside the sea."
"But nobody listens to me. Nobody will do anything. I just sit here and drink. Illian's deaf to my entreaties, Garrick's insane, and the people in here don't care."
"Borne lets me stay here just as an example of what happens to people who oppose him, and I don't have the help to actually do anything about it." *He slams down a pint of ale in one gulp.*
Metal Man (GM): Some of it dribbling down his white-bearded cheeks.
???: "But if ya need anything... I... don't have anything to do right now anyway."
Razor: "Well, you've got my ear... maybe we can help eachother in the long run, eh?" *He leans in a bit.* "...but I'm not exactly a local... might I ask for an introduction?"
Metal Man (GM): He draws rings in the counter with his fingers, then idly scatches his dry looking hair. It's clean, but disheveled.
Marley: "I'm Marley, th' guy who helped those dread blasted Questers try and fail to do things when they first came here. And this is what I got. They sank my boat, gave Jack an infinite fortune, then got me killed. Blasted maniacs, they couldn't go fifteen seconds without killing somebody innocent in the name of justice."
"Damn them, damn them all to hell!" *Hic* "I had a perfectly good shack, and nobody knew I was alive. Why did I even bother to help them?"
"All I've got now is this uniform and a broken Phase Pistol. And an infinite bar tab!"
"Illian's too busy moping about pointless dead people I've never met, and Garrick's got manic depression on the brain."
"Valron's a soulless killer, don't get near him if you value your soul."
"All a' them just left me here to rot in the sun. I could have stayed dead, maybe I'd-a been happier."
Razor can't help a bit of a smirk. "Glad to see you got better. Sort of. What I hear, those Questers were a bunch of incompetent fools. Lucky for you... I'm not. I've got some ideas that may well help put you ahead... but at the moment, I'm looking for Garrick. I'm not sure if I can help him... but I'm hoping to shake a bit of sense into him."
Marley: "Harharharharhahahar. You makin' sense into him? That'll be the day. I tell ya, you know what he said? He said he just had to kill everybody to make Smash Energy go away. The Questers were comin' ta kill us all!"
"Yeah, they ain't comin. They're gone. Borne killed 'em."
"Good riddance!"
"Garrick's become some sort of Pocket Monster guy now. He's regressed to childish fantasies!"
"He was just here, claiming Borne had made clones a' Mewtwo!"
"But what the f@#$ would he even need one of those for?"
Razor: "...really now..." *He sighs and shakes his head.* "...any idea where he ran off to?"
Marley: "He's got giant cannons, a fleet, clones of Eggman and Garrick... he can just kill everyone!" *Hiccup*
"I don't know. He flew off somewhere crazy, and the guards told me they didn't really care to watch where he went."
"He was riding a Pokemon!"
"What in th' blue hell do you do, riding a bird like that? It's dumb!"
"Ride in a space ship like a proper soldier, gawd dammit!"
Metal Man (GM): He gestures and gets two more mugs. Both for him, as he goes to drink some more.
Marley: "Well, I guess yeh better tell me something to do, otherwise I'm gonna go pass out in a moment. This living is giving me a headache."
Razor: "Can you tell me who might know where he's gone?"
Marley: "Eh... heh heh heh heh!" *He stands up... then sits down.*
"Borne will know!"
"Borne's gonna kill him one of these days... god dammit, why couldn't I have been the Garrick?" *He takes another drink, then falls over and passes out.*
Metal Man (GM): The waiter walks over and shrugs.
Waiter: "My bet for how many he'd last before doing that was too low. That man's drinking cost me another bet. Blah."
Soldier: "Yeah! I know Marley's intake real well!"
Razor sighs and shakes his head.
Waiter: "What, are you studying to become the next him?"
Soldier: "Bah! You'll see!"
Waiter: "Anyway, I better get back to work." *He walks off.*
Metal Man (GM): Nobody seems to be super paranoid about you just being around. Must be that you really don't register as a Quester to any of them.
Razor slowly pushes up from his seat, giving a somewhat sad look towards the unconscious Marley before heading out. "Borne, eh? That sounds like the king of bad ideas, asking him... but then again, nobody else seems to be bothering me..."
Waiter: "Eh. Borne talks to everyone. He doesn't really fear anyone. Not since he impaled that Quester on a rusty pipe."
"I'd be more afraid for anyone who ticked him off than him."
"He's usually in the tower. If you're in here, you're probably not anyone he worries about."
"Garrick tried to get in the other day, but Borne wouldn't let him in."
Razor raises an eyebrow towards the waiter. Well, his habitual muttering to himself actually worked out for the better. "Huh. Well, thanks... that's good to know, then." He nods and decides to head back to the tower. Might as well, right?
Metal Man (GM): You walk there, and, as usual, can take the elevator up.
Razor decides to just take the elevator as high as it'll let him.
Metal Man (GM): It goes straight up to 10.
Security? Ha ha ha ha ha!
The door opens. Borne is sitting at his desk. He seems... not surprised.
Razor is actually a bit surprised at how easy this is. Still, if this guy is such a major threat, he'll have to be significantly more careful. When the elevator door opens, he slowly exits, examining Borne in person for the first time.
Borne: "Ah. It's that person who took a strange interest in everything to do with Questers. Well. I figured they would come visit." *Oddly, he would lean forward.* "I assume you want more information, so you can... write a book or something."
Metal Man (GM): He's as he appears in the previous description. Wearing this black uniform with angular shoulders, he has the gray eyes and shortish military-straight brown hair.
This one is clearly also metallic on the edges, a bit.
He has enough medals to mount a small battle if you were to use them as ammunition.
Several of them depict the Quester logo being smashed to pieces.
He seems curious rather than on edge or wary.
Razor doesn't nod to confirm nor deny Borne's statement. He'd just be brief and to the point. "I'm looking for Garrick... I want to speak to him in person. I heard he was around here recently, and something about riding a Pokemon... and I was told you might know where he is."
Borne: "Damn annoyance, that Garrick is. He went off searching for some Mewtwo thing." *He'd cross his hands.* "Oh, I might know where he went, but I'd want information in exchange."
Razor: "Of course. No goodwill in this universe is free anymore."
Borne: "You saw what happened to the man who just gave it out."
Metal Man (GM): He smiles ominously.
Razor: "It wasn't free. He was the one who paid the price for it himself."
Borne: "My point exactly. Free information isn't. So, that I don't regret this later... who are you?"
"And what business do you have with him?"
"He will come and annoy me with his childish s@#$ if you do anything to him that I would rather do myself."
Metal Man (GM): Borne begins cleaning his fingernails with a strangely cursed looking knife.
Razor: "My name is Drakin... I met the man a long time ago. As I said... I want to speak with him, nothing more."
Borne: "Hm." *He would tap his finger to his chin.* "Yes, it's pretty clear you aren't specifically lying, but the trick is on you." *He'd flick the knife flat on the table with a thud.* "I don't even know where he is. Go bother Red Text, he probably knows. Or that stupid Kanto place he hangs out in, which is so pathetic I don't even bother invade it. Both are hotspots. That way, if you do find him... it wasn't me who told you."
Razor didn't exactly tell him much at all, either. "A trick you say... I was told that you wouldn't let him in. You've certainly told me plenty though, so, thank you." He bowed his head lightly and slipped back into the elevator.
Borne: "Enjoy Alsa. Just not too much." *He chuckles darkly.* "The souls of dead men line the inner energy belt of its core, and it likes nothing more than to punish the unwary." *He'd then punctuate it...* "...But you aren't a fool, so you don't need to hear that from me. Until our paths cross again, Drakin."
Metal Man (GM): He goes back to leaning on his desk, flipping through and writing what is "The Further Menace of the Questers"--apparently another volume.
Razor nods in silence as the doors close. Great. Now to find Red Text... or at the very least, get in contact with him. Shouldn't be THAT hard, considering he supposedly monitors all radio communication...
Metal Man (GM): You're free to come and go as you please. Seems that the security is just to keep crazy people with weapons at bay.
Given you haven't flipped any of their warning signs, nobody seems to object to you just wandering around.
Of course, you can probably guess that base is guarded and secured unlike the public tower.
On the way, you would notice a sign out on the street you'd passed before.
"Death Toll of People Killed So That Garrick's Irrational Demands Would Be Kept"
It has a large number of people. They all look like... anyone who ever remotely resembled Garrick.
It's ridiculous, really. Seems every Quester to visit here before you couldn't leave without demanding tons of people die, or doing it personally.
Nearby is a memorial to "People killed by Panzer sniping them."
And a new one seems to commemorate "Deaths caused by Digi's Insane Rampage" and still has flowers by it.
Nope! No Dragoshi anywhere in this mess.
There is a monument to "Xavier Ridgecrest's Airport Massacre" too.
It shows Xavier, Demon, and a pirate attacking people and blowing up the airport.
A tally on another scoreboard suggests at least 5,000 people have died as a result of Quester attacks.
This is normal to most people, some of whom wear colored ribbons noting which Quester killed some of their family or attacked them.
Indeed! It began as a small thing, but the Questers attacked this city enough it became the Toad Town 2 of Alsa.
Even Garrick got in on it, the plaque noting he had threatened to kill Borne and destroy the city unless everyone who could potentially be a clone of him died.
Or so it says. You can't trust everything you read here, obviously--Borne writes it, but...
Razor: "This place just drives 'em crazy, doesn't it? Chaos and power untempered by reason and willpower..." *He pauses at the end and looks upward, eyes closed as he draws a deep breath.* "...wonder if he'll regret dragging me here." *He finally finds himself somewhere with a bit of privacy and taps his comm, broadcasting on a non-standard frequency, pinging for Red Text.*
Red Text: Hm. This is an unusual thing. Most people hate when I start invading their radios.
Hello... uhhh... who is this?
I'm afraid I can't hack anything much inside that city you're in. It's too secure... only this device.
Which is, unfortunately, not a very informational one!
It's some sort of text-only display on your device.
Weird.
Razor: "Red Text, I presume... no, no, not looking for anything to be hacked. Surprised you didn't just look on the device to see who I am... this is Razor. I'm looking for a couple of things... and with you, I might just be able to kill two birds with one stone, if you'll excuse the cliched expression."
Red Text: Blame the... annoying fields in the city you're in. Borne got tired of me stealing his in-progress rewriting of history.
Razor, huh. Well, your data suggests... ...you're working for Xavier. Nice joke. Everyone says that, nobody is stupid enough to actually do what he says, of course.
I like to kill problems, so shoot. I'm trying to get rid of this mess myself. Tsk... Questers made such a mess of it when they left.
Razor: "Tell me about it. I appreciate the sentiment behind Xavier, but the guy's just... too damned nuts. He was a little crazy back in the day, but now? I don't even... ugh. I have a... very radical idea. The way I see it, the only way we stand a chance of stamping out all of these universal threats is going to be if Xavier and Illian's forces join under a... moderate platform. I know what you're thinking... the two of them could never POSSIBLY cooperate, right?"
Red Text: The main problem is that they were once one person, but aren't anymore.
Granted, Illian was the alien who swapped places with him once, but the fiction that they were the same person was what counted.
Razor: "Once one person. Well. How about we fix that?"
Red Text: Cooperation is unlikely. Illian wants his name untarnished, no matter what. Xavier wishes to... uhhhh... I don't even know.
Well, you'd have to destroy one and brainwash the other, if you really wanted to make the original Metal Man come back.
The problem is, Illian is hard to destroy, and I'm not sure if Xavier has a brain.
You could make Illian leave, but... that's his grudge and everything.
And Xavier... eh... we tried destroying him, he just kept coming back.
I can't really say for certain how we'd do it. This is all a big mess.
I'd rather just fix it on my own, while they play pretend war.
Razor: "Not what I mean. Illian is too stubborn, orderly, and vengeful to just stop... and Xavier's powered by chaos and lunacy, as well as some strange sense of justice. If you add them together, though, you get everything you need for a hero... the way he once was. My suggestion is, well... you know about Transformers, I assume?"
Red Text: Dreadfully much. So do the two of them. I hear bizarre reports, of Xavier turning into things, these days.
Razor: "Oh, that? He just stole Deloth's mask, apparently. My thought, though... is what if we could modify that technology? Instead of a Transformer... a fusion device?"
Red Text: Dangerous technology. Possible, but dangerous. The problem is, the transformer is technology nobody has ever really figured out.
It and the Fighter Remote were claimed to be made by Dr. Light and Professor Oak, but neither of them have the knowledge to make such a thing. I can only assume they had friends who actually did the parts that are hard to understand.
Megaman-style storage technology is Dr. Light's thing, but Oak is no scientist of that type. He must have talked to Bill.
You would need both of their blueprints to safely do it.
Naturally, I could invent a new device, but that'd require more testing and have more chance of failure. Blasted Smash energy beings.
Razor: "Then I have a goal... and if all else fails, I'd say there's a 75% chance that E Li Three already has something like what I'm looking for anyways. Otherwise... an invention may be our best bet, but I'm afraid if these two sides clash, it doesn't matter who wins... because someone else is just going to come in and mop everything up for themselves."
Red Text: Yes, Sloan is going to do that.
I can't seem to find him, but he has agents out there. He's been to Nintendus already.
He has Smash Energy and Alsan Energy. If not stopped, he will just kill both sides in their moment of weakness.
Unfortunately, no one seems willing to chase him.
And I just barely survived the time the Dweezil attacked me from blocking them from Alsa.
Razor: "You'd think it'd be easier to find an eyesore like that. In any case... I think, then, that my plan has some merit... at least as an emergency option. I can certainly try to get my hands on these blueprints... but there was something else I needed to ask you about. Garrick. I need to find him... and frankly, if there's anyone else I'd trust to help execute a plan like this, it'd be him."
Red Text: Interesting. He was pretty sure you were coming here to kill him, then feast on his entrails like a rabid dog.
I'm not sure if I could convince him otherwise, he seems to believe the Questers are out to kill him. Well. Some of them probably are, but none of the ones who could actually do it.
Razor: "I don't care what he thinks. Hell, even if he decides to preemptively attack me, then I'd let our fists do all the talking we need. Still, I... I think I can talk some sense into him."
Red Text: Alsa melted his brain. Illian, master of depression, last had to intervene to keep him from killing himself. That's right, the most depressed person on Alsa found him to be more depressed than him.
Please do fix his brain, it's been leaking over my carpet.
Don't punch it too hard though, he's liable to go until he kills you, you kill him, or Sloan swoops in and kills both of you.
The third one worries me more, since that's the kind of thing he's waiting for.
Razor: "Hopefully it won't come down to that. So... where is he?"
Red Text: "Let me see where he is." *He pauses for a moment. Scanning.*
Red Text: He is flying to the moon.
Yes. The moon.
Why is he flying to the moon? I don't really know.
He's going there though.
Razor: "The moon... alrighty then. Guess I'm heading to the moon. Thanks."
Red Text: Have fun. Red Text out.
Metal Man (GM): Good thing you have the REDITS! ...Though I'm not sure, you might need a space suit to live in space.
Unless Razor has a Unique or something.
We'll pause about here too, as my brain is about out of gas.
Indeed, think I'll go with pausing about here, you can post a last post. And with it...
+8 EXP to Razor
Razor used to have a helmet that would do the trick... but that was long since lost... so... he'd have to find a replacement. Then... TO THE MOON!
Metal Man (GM): I'll have to do something tricky for that next session. Ideally I'd have Razor, Garrick, and Kit all at once.
