Slashing Weapons

Slashing Weapons include swords, axes, and claws. Slashing weapons damage oozes, slimes, and jellies more heavily than usual (try cutting jell-o with a knife and you'll see what I mean). However, there's also a downside: slashing weapons, you'll find, are ineffective against heavily armored foes, and will merely scratch their protective plating.

Swords and Claws are capable of dealing piercing damage when using them to stab, however, such an attack is considered a smash attack due to the fact that the weapon was not designed for stabbing. You must specify when using a smash attack to stab, or else it will be considered a normal slash.

Axes can't stab enemies, but they are ideal for cleaving through something.

Starter Weapon Begin with this weapon.

Mythril

As strong as Titanium, but lighter! +2 weight bonus.
Heavy -1 Penalty to all attacks due to weight. Penalty stacks when dual wielding.
Very Heavy -2 penalty to all attacks due to weight.
Extremely Heavy -3 penalty to all attacks due to weight.
Light +2 bonus to all attacks due to weight. Negated when dual wielding.
Two Handed Requires use of both hands; cannot use other items when drawn. Cannot dual wield, cannot make double-edged. -1 in number of attacks in a combo. Requires a STR of 6 or higher to use.
Double Edged (by request) Doubles damage roll (ex: d5 becomes 2d5). -5 penalty to all attacks due to difficulty of handling. Cannot make weapons of heavy or greater weight categories double edged.
Dual Wielded Requires use of both hands. Doubles the damage roll (ex: d5 becomes 2d5). -5 penalty to attacks due to difficulty. Cannot dual wield Very Heavy or Two Handed weapons.
Dual Wielding Penalty Some light weapons are heavier than others, and thus, more difficult to use when fighting with two at once.
